Right now, the NFL owes us all an apology for putting the Cardinals on TNF. Kyler Murray has been bad, Marvin Harrison has been worse, and I have no idea what the plan is with offensive play-calling. And nothing against Aaron Judge but if you don't think Cal Raleigh is the AL MVP you are insane!

on Thursday Night football. This has been absolutely abysmal. From
Kyler Murray, from Marvin Harrison Junior. The play calling like
this is I'm watching this going, Wow, what a big
come doown. It's for the other big games we have
seen so far on National TV on Mondays and Thursdays,

Like I don't know what the car I don't know
what Kyler Murray's doing. I don't know what Marvin Harrison
Junior is doing force him into two interceptions. I don't
know what kind of play calling is going on with Arizona.
They go get yard run from Trey Benson. Looks like
he's gonna start running people over. Note we're gonna call
eighteen pass plays in a row. This has been absolutely terrible.
It's been dreadful. No, it's been on all lngles. I

mean you look at it. The Trey Benson big run.

kind of balance and get him some time is just
absolutely unconscionable. And then the Marvin Harrison part of it,
it's absolutely deplorable because anybody that's just box score watching
at this point is like, oh, Kyler Murray, he's got
two interceptions. No, those are both on Marvin Anderson Junior.

Yeah, because he stopped running, but for at first the
second one he didn't get the first one, he stopped running.

half yards. They know they got to get him the football.

We were feeling the heater by putting the Cardinals on

even feel like they're playing an incredibly great Oh they're not,

plays the Jets, they go, listen, let's just not make mistakes.
Let's just go out there and execute right, and let's

not go crazy. We'll win this game. Well, that's kind
of how I feel. This wipe ford On on a
fourth down early didn't get it. You had the interception
where you have a fumble on that play on the
return by Seattle's a little bit controversial whether he should
have been ruled touchdown or not. Just a comedy of errors.
Sam Darnold's made a couple of big throws, a couple

of big plays. You have the Charbonne touchdown to extend
the lead. But this game where we were saying, oh,

his offense has just been af dreadful.

have enjoyed. And it's really crazy because I'm seeing the

out of his system, man, Sam Darnold. Despite the fact
that Jackson Smith Nijigba, who is the number two receiver
in fantasy, does not have a target tonight again, okay,
well maybe one of that first ones, yeah, but still
this is the This is one of the top receivers
in the NFL. He doesn't have a target tonight, right,
which tells you that the game plan was taking him

away from this offense. Make somebody else beat you, right,
And what have we seen tonight?

Barner's got the big touchdown reception. Elijah Arroyo, who we've
heard of all the season long, was gonna be He's
gonna be the next great tight end. They're lining up
all over the field He's gonna be so amazingly good.
Elijah Royal, He's the next Tony Gonzalez. He's the next
great Antonio Gates. You, Okay, he's not catching any passes,
but tonight To catches two passes for forty four yards.

He has moved the football around. Again. He doesn't have
the best receiver. They have a top five NFL receiver
this year, doesn't have a target, and still Donald is
fourteen eleven out of fourteen. He is extremely accurate with
the football, even the near misses that he had, He's
putting the football in a great spot. Right. And this
is this runs contrary to how I thought this would

go for Sam because I'll tell you when I'm wrong.
And he says, contrary to how I thought this would
go for Sam Donald because hey, he found the system
in Minnesota, because we talked about this with Daniel Jones. Right,
there's a system for everyone. Right, if you're if you're
at quarterback, take it in the first round. There's a
reason why you're drafted that high. There's a reason why
teams loved you. There is a system for you. You just
have to find it. And sometimes finding the system is

harder than other times, Daniel Jones found a system finally
with Indianapolis, and Sam Darnold, after a bunch of stops,
finally found a system with the Vikings. Well wait a minute, now,
now I'm gonna go hit free agency, and now, well,
really you sure the system's gonna work with Seattle? And
so far it's worked. He's not been the lights out
fantasy star that he was last year where all of
a sudden, it's hey, where's Justin Jefferson. I'm gonna throw

the ball to him and that's a sixty yard game.
But he has been able to move the football up
and down the field, and he has been extremely accurate.
And this is what I mean when I say they're
systems for everyone. Here's Sam Darnold, who had horrible luck
with the Jets, but then again, who hasn't bad luck,
worse luck with the Carolina Panthers. Couldn't get on the
field with the forty nine ers when they're trying to
figure out their quarterback situations. Brock Purty really the guy

all of this and now here he is. Okay, he
goes to Minnesota as a backup and he's never gonna
see the field. But JJ McCarthy gets hurt, he gets
thrust in, thirty five touchdowns, four thousand yards passing, signs
one hundred and ten million dollar contract with Seattle, and
so far he has looked very good. Again. Not gonna
win passing titles with this offense, not gonna be someone
that goes wow, he's gonna be a big pro bowler.

But seeing him play and seeing the accuracy and the
confidence where he knows goes with the football tonight, that
is really something. It really is something to see him
where he can't even target his best receiver, and this
is the nicest.

Going up against pretty good squad, seven different receivers. With
the receptions tonight, the Arroyo thirty two yarder was a
thing of beauty. The run game is still trying to
work out some kinks. Walker with a big run of
twenty one that helps bolster that average. Tonight he's up
to ten for fifty two the touchdown for Sharbonne. But
as that comes together, you'll have more opportunity down the field,

and certainly for Sam Darnold. I have to ask this
question though, when we take came and we take Baker Mayfield,
that was wrong with people in Carolina.

There's reason why Matt rules in Nebraska right now. But
it goes back to like when he went there, he
was going to be the guy. Right, You're like, no, no, don't.

can you explain how two guys have gone on to

more fun to laugh at the Jets because you know

Seattle team, the changes they made in the off season,
we're going to something completely brand new and we're going

seen all sorts of success this early on, and they're
just a good all around team. It's not like you
can look at most good teams. So what do you

do well? Okay, the Eagles identity last year with Saquon
Barkley trying to find it this year, right, what are
all the best teams that The Bills identity is Josh
Allen doing absolutely everything right. The Ravens identity is Lamar
Jackson doing everything right. The Charges identity is a is
a smash mouth brand of football, justin Herbert, complementary football running.
The Seahawks are just a solid team. Right. Their defense
is good enough. It's not great. Their defense is good

enough and clearly tonight against the suckitude of Kyler Murray
and Marvin Harrison Junior, they're able to keep control of
this game. But they run the football well enough. Right.
Every year, it's like who's gonna be the running bag.
Zach Charbonet is gonna be forty five years old. People
are gonna say, hell, maybe he takes over the belcal
this year. But spreading the football around, it doesn't matter.
The weapons they lost. You see, it was no big

deal to move on from DJ metcalf a DK metcalf
because wow, you're talking with him and smid the jig.
But you're gonna be great. Yeah, no, you don't need it.
We're good. We're good. They have they have hit that
that mode of they're almost kind of like the Steelers
light where yes they have big players and guys who
are somewhat stars, but they're not the over the top,
super duper stars that that you write, that you write

about all the time and you talk about all the time.
But that's kind of the way they've built their team.
They're physical, they're able, They're able to make the plays
when they need to. They get their court, they get
functional play from their quarterback. Like they have just become
a really, really solid team in a really quick span
of the last two years.

I mean you had big questions when McDonald took over
and whether the job was going to be too big.
Instead they go ten and seven. You make out the
changes in your quarterback room. Gino leaves, you leave, let
DK metcalf and get him out of the building. So

Cooper Cup, banking that he still got something left in

the tank. Yeah, it's an interesting kind of switchover, as
you say here and look, they were a great closing
speed by defensive back from a huge play to Horton
which would have cashed one of the yeah oh yeah
that I made yesterday. He had two steps on the

ball touchdown of this game is even worse. So thank you,
real man of genius. But Clint Kubiak getting the job
done with that offense. It'll get better. Uh so for

or hockey leagues, whatever it was, Were you better or
worse than Kyler Murray? Football? Oh that was way better?

a nerf ball. Right. If I could use a nerf,
I'm great. If I have to use the duke, then no,

my whole philosophy. And it's weird because I so get
the billy bean. I hate losing more than I like winning.

out with three games left to go, that probably would

over the Diamondbacks that got out early back to back
home runs from Freeman and Pahz and then Otani hits
one into the pool and that basically ends the Diamondback season.
So now the Dodgers in the last week have ended
the Giant season and have ended the Diamondbacks. This is
a big revenge tour for the Dodgers. The last couple

so far it's worked. He's not been the lights out

But he has been able to move the football up
and down the field, and he has been extremely accurate.
And this is what I mean when I say they're
systems for everyone. Here's Sam Darnold, who had horrible luck
with the Jets, but then again, who hasn't bad luck,
worse luck with the Carolina Panthers. Couldn't get on the
field with the forty nine ers when they're trying to
figure out their quarterback situations. Brock Purty really the guy

all of this and now here he is. Okay, he
goes to Minnesota as a backup and he's never gonna
see the field. But JJ McCarthy gets hurt, he gets

so far he has looked very good. Again. Not gonna
win passing titles with this offense, not gonna be someone
that goes wow, he's gonna be a big pro bowler.

But seeing him play and seeing the accuracy and the
confidence where he knows goes with the football tonight, that
is really something. It really is something to see him
where he can't even target his best receiver, and this
is the nicest.

thing of beauty. The run game is still trying to

National League. But Francisco Lindor, with the home run, becomes
the fifth player this season with a thirty thirty season,
the most in a single season in MLB history, where
five players reached thirty home runs thirty stolen bases.

Like we had the bit out there finding on social

media on Twitter, Fox Sports Radio out there. Look, Rawley's
the MVP. Doesn't mean Judge isn't great because he is. Uh,
Rawley's gonna wind up setting the Ale record for home runs.
He needs three home runs to do it. He's already
had the best season a catcher has ever had in
the history of the game. But Yankee fans, I love
the panic and how much this was the biggest thing
in the world if Aaron Judge doesn't win the MVP

because the Yankee fans, they think major League Baseball was
created and plays just so the Yankees have other teams
to play right. That's why Yankee fans baseball exists of

one sixty, the implied odds for Aaron Judge to win
your American League MVP thirty eight and.

A half percent. This is possible. And you want to
know why why Because we know somebody very well who
has an MVP vote and is going to vote for Judge. Uh, yeah,

I understand.

lot of these other categories. And then you have to
decide how much does the well roundedness come in narrative.
Plus what he does is a catcher, which I don't

And also and also look, MVP is not Player of
the Year, right, I always say Major League Baseball have
a Player of the Year award too. Why not call
it the Hank Aaron Player of the Year Award. Whatever
you want to do, make it the Hank Aaron Player

reward the guy with the best season, and then you
have the MVP. Because I'm sorry, but it's different. It's not.
It would be the Player of the Year award instead
