(00:24):
to Fox Sports Radio. Hello, Welcome inside Final Hour tonight
the Jason Smith Show with my bas friend Mike Harmon.
I was the Dodgers are in the NLCS, Yeah, they are.

(00:47):
We spent last hour. We talked a lot about the
final play, a lot of celebration, a little bit more
on that. Look, we have much more on that, including
a really big hot take for the Dodgers coming up
in about twenty minutes. But just really you're like, hey,
Scorpio with your f but just how hot are we talking?
It's gonna be a hot take that you're gonna go
wait a minute, Oh no, no, there's no lies detected there.

(01:10):
No's absolutely right. You're gonna be a hot time in
the old town tonight. But but we're gonna get to
the Giants and the Eagles in a second, but just
really quick, because this has been making the rounds. Here
you show me the video the final play of the
game where Kirkering throws wild at home plate. Kim comes
in from third base and scores. You know, we broke
it down from the angle of why Kirkering, why the

(01:32):
mistake was his, why real Huto screwed up. And there's
a big screen grab going around of Kim coming into
the plate and not stepping on the plate, And that
we talked about that is that, dude, you gotta slide right,
like this could be a really close play, Like I'm
sure he is thinking when the ball is hit to
the pitcher, but the no slide was a big deal.

(01:56):
And and because real Muto is standing there, and and
you know that's the one thing is Kim can see
him on the way right. You can see him coming in.
Oh maybe I should get down the sides might be
a close play, but he steps, he doesn't touch them,
He doesn't touch home plate. You can see clearly he
is six to eight inches from standing on the plate.
Now a lot of this is because real Muto is
standing on the plate. Now, the ball goes all the

(02:18):
way to the fence. But if you watch the play,
as soon as he gets by the plate, he walks
back and steps away. So it's not like, hey, here's
a phantom that happened in a playoff game like I
almost like fifteen years ago with the Padres and the
Rockies where the winning run the guy never touched home plate,
but the umpires didn't say and they called it. But

(02:40):
you know he goes back. You see him stop and
he takes four steps back and touch his home.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, because you have the fun of the way real
Muto's on the plate blocking and then not sliding. Like
there's a lot of all right, how are they going
to interpret this if they want to go deep down
the rabbit hole of you know how you're supposed to
engage at a bit. But the run counts. PA has
his name to hero goats everywhere, and away we go.

(03:06):
And now the Phillies have a season of uh discontent
and uh can and fear right, Schwarber could leave. Yeah,
all of these things are up in the air. He
was not quite tearful, but very slow with his words
as he addressed the media in the postgame, recognizing all
the greatness that they had for this season is for

(03:29):
not and there's a lot of questions for the Phills
going into the ausume you.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Know where he fits in perfectly where Padres Oh, I
thought you're gonna say that a great regular season and
suck if they met the fi.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
By the way, that was the other fun thing watching that,
right because after Kershaw struggled last night, a lot of
a lot of friends and people we know down in
San Diego and it starts to infiltrate my mentions and
into the timeline h a lot of people peacocking Padres
fans like they were really quiet tonight after that went down.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yeah, look they got really quiet again. Look like that
that play, because you mentioned, is really that plane, not
only as it ends the Phillies season, but as you said,
like they have a lot of decisions to make real
Muto as well, right, Like what are you gonna do
with Costeanos? You know, because that contract what like you know,
Ranger Suarez, I think it's a free agency, that's right,
and you have to give you got to give him

(04:22):
Zach Wheeler money to come back, right, and you paid
all you you're paying all his money. The Zach Wheeler
that you didn't have, you know, for most of this
season too. So it's it's almost like an era of
like this in this invention, this last two to three
year incarnation of the Phillies, like that can end because
of that throat of the place.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Swarez signed a one year, eight point eight million.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Dollar deal for this year to avoid arbitration. That's gonna
be a lot more money after this year. That's they
got all of that for. That's gonna be a lot
wow money now. And the last thing for the Phillies
is this is that much like the Yankees, this is
a season where you can say, for the was oh,
another year they didn't make it. This was also a

(05:04):
somewhat appropriate exit for the Phillies in the NLDS against
the Dodgers, right, because they're just like the Yankees. They
were missing their big ace, right, they were missing Garrett Cole,
You're missing Zach Wheeler. Not having that guy every fifth day,
like that's a thing, right, And yes, you had a
great year from Kyle Schwarber, which which was fantastic, but

(05:24):
you have great years from players. But this wasn't a
Phillies team that overwhelming was Hey, this is a team
that should roll the World Series. This was ugh. You
saw last year you thought they were great, they had been. Honestly,
their team was better last year there were leavers were better.
They had like six pitchers who were All Stars a
year ago. Last year was a year you go, wow, man,
you got missed by the mexst But this year was more. Hey,

(05:46):
you had some holes. Bottom of the lineup wasn't what
it was, yet you had great you know Schwarber at
the top. Bryce Harper was okay, right again, Bryce Harper.
The truth is he's pretty good. He hasn't been an
elite player in a long time, in five years. He's
pretty good. He's not gonna age. Well, he's already an
old thirty two. We talked about that this week. But
like for the Phillies, this is not the end of well,
it's so disappointing. This is just that error that not

(06:10):
only ends this season. Is so frustrated, but also now
the team is gonna wind up being different in many
places next year.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, one thing plus the question first part, They were
the betting favorites coming into the playoffs of all teams.
So fail the other side tonight, which is the bigger,
more stinging loss the Eagles getting doubled up by the
Giants and looking over there going they all seem to

(06:40):
like each other. This is like that Jerry Maguire scene
we quote all the time. Hey, why don't we have
a relationship like that? It's all.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
It's worse. It was worse when I turned off the
Phillies to go to the Eagles because losing the Dodgers
like it was gonna happen, Like I thought, were you
how many extra huah wah sandwich is today? Listen? It's
been a bad thirty six hours. Mark Ruffalo, kid act
in the Woods who spoiler alert. Eartha Plimpton's in on it,
and I knew it from the beginning that and notton No,

(07:07):
Martha Plinton's and I think she might be running the
whole thing like that happened and so now, but I
expect it. But to lose to the Giants is some
guy named Darton Scataboo like that? How is that? This
is awful?

Speaker 2 (07:18):
It's a perfect month for scato awful, even if you
don't really lean into that.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Are they playing on Halloween? I don't even I don't
even know if I can root for Gritty anymore. This
is the badest, bad times, bad times here in phil
Gritty lost too, bad times in Bucks County, bad times
in Delaware, bad times all over, very difficult.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Good.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Have to go watch mir of Eastown again. Just have
to watch that. That's not the most part. Gotta get
Ruffalo out. It's a ruffalo season. Bleak situations and task
out now you've been. He's got a big Phillies cup
that he does a lot of things with. But he's
he's a bleak situation. Bleak bleak, bleak bleak. Uh. Speaking
of bleak. When I watched Jackson Dart Camp, Scattaboo not

(07:59):
only play extremely well tonight, but bring that energy, that
bolt of lightning to a Giants team that you could
see them feeding off each other celebrating. Dart and Scataboo
were dancing with each other after touchdowns. Scataboo had three touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Made you saw his performance, but his his post touchdown celebrations.
I mean he did the backwards flip spider Man thing.
He was doing cartwheels and handstands and handsprings all over
the place.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
You know, I Sam Pogo stick. I see that and
it's exciting, right, and I feel great. I feel great
because I told you Jackson Dart was going to be
good right away. Sure, just watching him all pre season,
there was no moment that was too big. He was
out doing Russell Wilson. I don't know how they didn't
give him the job right away, but they probably fellow
we owe Russell Wilson. Who knows where the Giant season is.

(08:53):
If Jackson Dart starts week one instead of instead of after.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Four games, fortunately, everybody else in the division's kind of
a mess, so you have an opportunity for greatness.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
But I told you, Look, he's he is fearless. He
puts the ball in tight places. He threw a pass
to THEO Johnson tonight that wound up getting dropped by
Johnson that he's getting blitzed, and the and the and
the the linebacker comes in and he is untouched and
Dart just kinda very quickly right after the place is

(09:22):
right away the play. There's no time on this play.
He takes a quick step to the right and he
feathers this ball over the middle to Johnson, who kind
of drops it. Now it's tight coverage and they could
have potentially called pass interference, but he puts this ball
in a perfect spot, and this is just the guy's
coming in, take a step throwing the football. You know what?

(09:43):
He reminds like, I say, a little bit of Baker Mayfield,
but he kind of reminds me of if Johnny Manziel
was good. Like that's kind of where that's kind of
where about what jacksonvill He reminds me of if Johnny
Manziel came to the NFL cared about playing, put all
the work in, all this stuff. That's kind of what
he would look like. He would look like Jackson Dart.
Dart just has that that that extra bit of whatever

(10:05):
intangible you need as a quarterback again, the fearlessness, nineteen
yard run for a touchdown. I knew he was gonna
be good right away, so I do the whole I
hate to say I told you so, but I do
hate to say it because I watched the Giants just
get lucky and they step in No.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
No, no, they're not getting lucky. There was a strategy.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
They step in it with Jackson Dart, they step in
it with Skataboo, and all of a sudden, oh hey,
it worked out for us. We're gonna be really good again.
And I go, what the hell are the Jets doing.
They can't get lucky once the Giants like, I don't know,
we should fire our manager, our general manager and head
coach and will keep him for a lame duck year. Eh, Well,
draft Jackson Dart. He goes twenty fifth, twenty four. Team
say yeah, no, no, no, no, no, you said no

(10:44):
the first time around, no no, no, no. Oh. And
now look, Jackson Dart's the best rookie quarterback in the
in the draft all look at where he is. And
the Giants. The Giants are the team that they could
be walking down the street and fall down a hole
and instead of breaking their legs, they find a big
bag of money and they final way to come out
all this money. Now, hey were rich. That's the Giants.
For forty years, I've watched things worked out for the

(11:06):
Giants just because. And I watched them celebrate tonight and
they're scoring and the fans are going nuts, and I go, man, my,
the Jets just can't get anything right. And I watched
the Giants. They just step in it time and time again.
It doesn't matter. They find a way out. Things look
like they're awful, they're gonna be terrible. Nope, we are
just really quick from turning the page and making things

(11:26):
good again. And that's what the Giants and that's just it.
You got three guys in this draft class that make
Shane look like a genius. And I always said the
move with Barkley was the right move, and I will
stand by that even if I'm on an island by myself.
He was worth a half a windy.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
You weren't getting over into the promised land with him,
but you don't need the optics of please call us
back like that.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Part of the equation was just stupid, and yes.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
You get your public flogging for that, but the actual
move to move on from Saint Juan Barkley, I don't
think was bad. Now he has three guys here, because
you talk about Carter up front, right, that's the first pick,
and that.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Guy's a beast.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, so you got him, and then Scatabo is fun
to watch. Dart's fun to watch. The thing I fear
for those two guys is that exactly you say it
three times like Beatle, is that you fear that they're
gonna be broken in half by the way they operate
and throw their bodies around. But it's gonna be fun
as hell to watch while they do it right. Dart
in particular, made some big plays with his legs. You

(12:27):
talk about his arm, just imagine once they get a
number one wide receiver back. And no disrespect to the
guys that were out there. Wandell Robinson was great, Little
Jordan Humphrey, all those guys making plays, some of the
guys from drafts past, Jalen Hyatt finding his way back
out there. Right, he's still trying to reclaim what could
have been after missing that rookie year with an injury,

(12:49):
but missing Molik Neighbors point, that would have been really
interesting to watch this team unfold with a number one
out there that you had to worry about as well,
wasn't it? Sorry buddy, But but you have that going
for you now.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
I mean, look in Skataboo, I still Stataboo. Skataboo is
is a lot of fun. He's a physical running back.
He's gott He's great in short yarded situation. He's someone
you can kill the clock with. He's not gonna be
this incredible dynamic I'm running for one hundred and twenty yards.
I mean he's Peyton Hills. He is for two years.

(13:23):
He will be that guy for two years. He's gonna
be out of cover of Madden. He is someone that
you can give him the ball eighteen times a game.
He'll get you seventy yards right, He'll hold onto the ball.
He'll give you a couple of big runs. He'll excite
the crowd, He'll excite the team. Look when you can
bring in tangibles and leadership to a team like that,
when you can be a story where everybody is doubting
Cam Skataboo and his well, his size and his speed.

(13:43):
Is that going to translate to the NFL and he
gets there and has some level of success. That's something
like it seems like, oh, he had an unbelievable game.
He had three touchdowns. That's good, right, don't get me wrong.
But it's not like he went well, I look at
his numbers. Oh, you know, eighteen rushes for one hundred
and seventy five now seventy nine yards rushing. Like I mean,
Skataboo had a decent night. He was able to do
what he needed to do. Darts the guy that makes

(14:05):
the offense go. With the two of them together, it's
like they're like they're the Wonder Twins.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
From I've been I wrote a treatment for a Wonder
Twins movie years ago.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Wonder Twin powers activate shape of a quarterback, shape of
a running back. Skatabooz Stataboo's skataboo like the power of
them together just elevates everything around the Giants. And they're
gonna gravitate towards these two guys that are gonna This
is their identity, right, we talked about this is that.
That's what Jackson Dart. I knew they would go to him,

(14:35):
and I knew he was gonna be this good. This
is their identity. They are now Jackson Dart and Cam
Skataboo driven. Who are the Giants? This is by the way,
the defensive line is really good. Right. They'll get Malik
Neighbors back next year and this might might you know,
the wins may not be tremendous for the rest of
the season, but they have all kinds of a future.
They can become a contender in one off season. But

(14:55):
the bottom line is they have excitement. They have everything
you need to be a team. Hey, we are on
the rise and it's exciting and we love it.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Nineteen for ninety eight and three to catch his twelve yards.
When's the first article written about Hey, that white running back?

Speaker 1 (15:09):
No, I'm sure it is. You'll see that. That's coming soon.
It's coming soon. Exit out about a Fresca exit swalling down.
The Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon.
Coming up next, the Dodgers win. They're in the NLCS.
But is there something they really gotta watch out for? Yes,
and it's not Dave Roberts managing the bullpen. Well, it's

(15:31):
not the bullpen, and it's not their defense. Well, you're
throwing all sorts of pointing. You'll like get a pulpit.
It's something much bigger than that. What is it? We'll
tell you next right here, Jason and Mike Fox Sports Radio.

Five Second Dance Party, Fill the Room, Fox Sports Radio,
The Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon.

(16:44):
Now you would think there's big winners tonight, The Dodgers
big winners, huge, the Giants big winners.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Yeah, Cubs big winners. Oh, Cubs winning.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Huge, Danny big winners tonight, Force a game five, go
right up the highway to Millewaukee.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
None of them are the biggest winners tonight. None of
them coming up. In a few minutes, I will introduce
we will speak to the biggest winner of the night
to night in sports Dark Guarantee Gatamo. We will speak
to the biggest winner of the night in sports tonight.
Oh I don't know, but who gets playing time? While
Lebron deals with Sayatika, Hey, talk about a guy that's

(17:21):
only going to be around Hey whenever I want to,
I'm gonna play for the Lakers. Okay, see what I'm
gonna be around? The team is lot only as much
as I have to be this year. Don't know that
I've heard that one used before. But look for the
Dodgers winning tonight. They're onto the NLCS and incredible ending.
Kirk Erring's throat of the plate is wide. Kim scores
the run an incredible ending. But there is a big concern,

(17:46):
the big dark side for the Dodgers. That is nothing
that we've talked about so far, because we've talked about
Dave Roberts and what he's done to the bullpen, and
clearly Dave Roberts escaped again tonight. Because you don't take
Tyler Glasnow out after a three pitches to go to
a reliever that has an ERA of eleven. Okay, I
get that. I get Immachen. He had a pretty good September.

(18:07):
He's unreliable. Nobody but Roki Sasaki. You want to be
able to go right from your starter to Sasaki, you
take Glass though I know he hasn't had the entire
season to build up his arm, but this is the playoffs.
He can go one more inning. He's at eighty three pitches,
not one hundred and three pitches. He's at eighty three.
He's done it before. He's been in the league. I'm
pretty sure he'd be okay, But no, he's saw on

(18:27):
off bats and still know that we're gonna go to
the bullpen. So Dave Roberts his bullpen decision making. Again
we've talked about that, the bullpen itself, we know how
bad it is. The Dodgers defense, which again hurt them
in the seventh inning. Everything that, all the big things
for the Dodgers, Dave Roberts bullpen decision, the bullpen itself,
in the defense all manifested itself in that seventh inning

(18:48):
when the Philly scored their run. It's like a big wheel.
But the thing they really have to be concerned about
is shohe O Tani has been terrible, absolutely terrible. And
this goes back now. You go back to the playoffs
last year, which were okay for Otani. He had two
five right in the play here two thirty in the

(19:09):
playoffs last year, still had three home runs, but struck
out a ton playoffs this year so far, one forty eight,
and he looks lost at the plate. He has played
twenty two playoff games now with the Dodgers the last
two years. He has struck out thirty four times in
those twenty two games. He is having an Anthony Volpi

(19:30):
like series and like playoffs so far, that's.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Not a name you want to have invoked on your performance.
He's taking forman he's taking called third strikes. He is
he is opening up his hips and swinging it outside pitches.
You can fool him with that outside pitch pull everything.
I mean, he is absolutely lost. And that's a thing
because it's not like, well, last year he was great. No,
last year, Hey, he had a couple.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
He had the big home run against the Mets, hit
into the third deck in a game the Dodgers won
by twelve runs. But outside of that, yeah, Otani wasn't great.
He had the one hit in this series, which turned
out to be a big, huge but outside me in
the guy's hitting one forty eight. Right, He's two h
five for the playoffs so far the last couple of years.
And he is not trending upward. That's the big thing

(20:16):
is that it's not like Otani's he is not trending upward.
You take the playoffs from last year another playoffs of
this year, he is worse and it doesn't look like
he is. He is at a point where well, he's
hitting the ball on the screws and they're just making
plays for him, or you know, he's barreling the ball.
The exit velocity is good. There's nothing you can point
to with Otani and say, hey, don't worry about It's

(20:36):
gonna turn around for him. Now he's he's the best
player in baseball. You want to think at some point
it's gonna happen. Clearly Rob Thompson was still concerned about him.
It's why he intentionally walked him in the seventh one.
But Otani is absolutely lost right now. He is not good.
He's not good, and this is still a guy that
when you get him out to start the game off
and starting ending off, it's like the other team breathes

(20:58):
a sigh of relief. We just got Otani out. Now
we're dealing from position of confidence because we've just gotten
your best player out. Now, dealing with Freeman and Betts
is a little bit better. Otani's on a bit. He's
not getting on base with me, and he's not been
stealing bases. He is just not the same guy that
he has been. He is struggling in a large way
and is all of a sudden, this is gonna resolve
itself when you when you turn the calendar to the

(21:19):
next to the next round of the playoffs, Like that's
the biggest concern for the Dodgers. Man. I know the
bullpen stinks, right, Okay, I know the defense stinks. Okay,
you go, you gotta deal with that. But Otani not hitting,
that's a big deal, man. I don't know that you
get by the NLCS, Otani. It's one forty eight again
in the NLCS. Are they coming out with a win?
Four for twenty three thus far. He had those two
ho runs the first game when they doubled up Cincinnati

(21:41):
ten to five, So you got those two extra base hits.
But that's it.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Four for twenty three, ten strikeouts, one to seventy four
year batting average.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Go back to last year, just.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
To uh, you know, stretch this out a little bit
for a little more context. In the World Series he
went too for nineteen, A lot of strikers at a
lot of strikeouts again for the playoffs all last year,
twenty two strikeouts in sixty one at bats, hitting two
thirty so winning in spite of him. The intentional walk

(22:11):
I remember as it was happening, just kind of the
excited utterance of what the blank. Yeah, let's get Mookie
bets up there, and then they probably walk him to
force in a run.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
But but all of that's me saying, dude, you're hitting
one forty eight. I mean, that's a that's a thing.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
It has been a miserable slog form. And that's the
biggest thing is he doesn't look close. They're bad at bats.
A lot of first ball swinging when he does make contact, yeah,
for easy outs, like you're not seeing pitches, you're not
getting a beat because look as a leadoff guy.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
I mean, that's that's that's the whole thing. Yeah, and
you know, and you can tell his body language is
not great. Yep, his body language and not. I don't
mean from a negative perspective, because you can tell his
body language is not I got it. Don't don't worry.
It was one at bat. It's okay, Like you can
do the walks of the dug out a little bit slower.
The looks on his face are a little bit more puzzling,

(23:05):
and and teams are getting him out right. Teams are
teams are getting him out now and sitting at the
top of the order, oh for four to two strikeouts
over four to two strikeouts like that's that's really you
can't get by with that. Like you could get by
with Mookie Betts having a bad so you can get
by with Tioskar Hernandez not you can get by with
Freddy Freeman. But when Otani, he just means so much

(23:25):
to setting up that team when it comes to either
his power or getting on base and being infectious with
the rest of the lineup, that getting him out, like,
I mean, that's a huge mental lift for the other team. Okay,
we got by Otani, right, we'll navigate these next couple.
Then we're in the bottom of the order, which is
not quite as good as the top of the order. Okay,
we're good. Like it's such a huge mental lift to

(23:46):
get by and the Dodgers all of a sudden, Hey,
I don't think it's any coincidence that Otani stopped hitting.
This is when they had trouble scoring runs.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Yeah, there's some reports out there that glass that was
removed because he was cramping.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
So we give that a.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Little bit of a a discussion point there and rationale
from Dave Roberts in terms of how he managed that side.
But for Otani, trying to figure out how you fix it,
don't know, and in terms of getting any kind of
explanation as to what he's feeling, what he's going through whatever,
he's able to barricade himself from reporters, kind of like

(24:20):
dons used to do back in the day when he
alone that he's able to not deal with reporters as
as he doesn't want to. So he's not gonna not ghannna.
But hey, all things good because they move forward. Now
they've got a couple of days to go back into
the cages and into the videotape and see if they

(24:41):
can't find a fix.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Jason Smith Mike Harmon, Live from the Fox Sports Radio studios.
All right, I'm told, are we ready to talk to
the biggest sports winner of the night tonight? You ready? Sure? Yeah,
let's go. It was last night where we previewed the
Thursday night football game between the Giants and the Eagles. Yeah,
we both took the Oval, took the over and the
Eagles right over the Yeah. Well, I mean I like
the Giants plus the points, but I thought the Eagles
would win the game. Eagles, Eagles, Eagles, Eagles, Eagles are

(25:05):
gonna win this is this is a get well game.
The Giants aren't very good. As much as I love
Jackson Dart and I've been getting to like cam Skatabooh okay,
I go skattabooz cattaboo's cattaboo. Uh. Look, Eagles are gonna win.
So I'm in the studio before the end of the
show last night. I tell you know, we talk about
what we're gonna do coming up next. All of us
are talking and I'm just in there and I said, okay,

(25:28):
so we'll do this picking the Eagles and Alex Tyshirt
are technical director who knows nothing about sports, absolutely nothing,
doesn't even follow sports, says JJ, I tell you man,
Giants tomorrow night. Really? Yeah? By fourteen? Whoa Giants by
two touchdowns?

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (25:44):
I go eighteen. That's not happening, man, Come on, Giants
are not winning this game by two touchdowns and Giants
are bad. He goes, all right, if that happens, I
get my own segment on the show one of the
next couple of nights. And I feel bad. I didn't.
I didn't. I didn't bring anybody else in this because
I said, that's not gonna have to worry about this
so I said, yes, worst deal I ever made. Because

(26:05):
now tomorrow night Alex Tyshirt gets his own segment to
talk about whatever he wants to talk about.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
But you also says, see, he was conspiring with our
guy Ricky imaging over the course of the night. So
this is going to be a big production. I have
no doubt that is. Then they might be a band
in here to play walk up music. I have no
idea that's the worst deal. Timmy Timmy Trumpet's going to
be in here playing. It might be worst deal I
ever made. Doesn't even get anything on the end of it, Like, okay,

(26:32):
but if you're wrong, I get this. What do you
mean I didn't even get even say that.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Going to show up something there's possibly gonna get canceled.
I could be depending on what Tyshirt says, or or
a great segment. It could be. Now want to say this, okay,
Number one, you know you can't curse? Really yeah, I
can't do that. Nafter ten deal breaker, Okay, that's that. Okay. No,

(26:57):
no pyramid or money schemes, not not like, Hey, everybody
send money to here and I can help double it
for you. If you know two people that want to
come in under you that can work. Okay, good, okay,
No selling of water filters, just just oh god, just
just a couple of rules to go by. There. You've
been here for you know, a couple of years now, right,
two two years ago? Okay, so I think you know,

(27:18):
not radio work. So just certain things that whatever, it's
whatever you want to do a couple of things. Those
things you can't hair care is okay, yeah, okay, that's
fine too. Okay, make sure to get in the next
legal troubles with Bronson. Yeah, he doesn't know about that.
He don't want to touch that. You will, No, he doesn't.
I don't want to touch that. He doesn't. Why. Hey,
what's Brunson's first name? Uh? Jalen? Pretty good? Did you say?

(27:39):
Did prosper? Just tell you? Did Marcy whisper to you
like she did last week? How dare you? That was
a seventy dollars wing night for me because Moncy whispered
the right answer to you the trivia question I asked you.
There's anything wrong with that? Thank you? Jason? All right,
so now what do you so now you have some
ideas chicken? Alright, just just to give me a couple

(28:00):
like a couple of teaser trailers. Yeah, okay, all right,
call me crazy, but is the idea Okay, that's good
and that could go anywhere. Conspiracy theories yeah okay, or
cliant based hot takes, plant based hot takes. Okay.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
So like boy, way to take broadcasting down to a
narrow cast to like something involving califlower crust, we're gonna
have no.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
You know, he hates cauliflower, remember that I did, But
I did tell him there was one thing coliflower is good.
If I found one thing. If you have califlower crust,
you have a pizza with a cauliflower crust, all of
a sudden, it changes the pizza intake for you. But
that incredibly I really do enjoy. I'm a Lunatations to cauliflower.
Ears are painful, man. If I had to look, they're

(28:48):
bad our cauliflower. If you have cauliflower crust for pizza,
basically you're you're just getting the protein. It changes your
pizza intake entirely. Wow, I mean you're not getting anything
from the cauliflower crust. You're just not eating all the bread,
and it's better for you. See the look at that.
Well that's my segment on your podcast. There you go, cauliflower.
It has one use. All right, So there was your segment.

(29:09):
We're done. Okay, So when you said paid off, when
you say plant based hot takes, yes, do you mean
I can't believe you said the Giants by two touchdowns? Yeah? Yeah,
I know. Okay, is this you're gonna talk about? Are
you gonna have like a hot take on impossible burgers?
Or is it like a hot take in sports and
you're using some sort of plant based Ally's doing little

(29:29):
Shop of Horrors. I could do that. So which which
is it? The second one? The second one? Okay? So
you're gonna have sports takes that have to do with
plant based product. Yeah, okay, that or the you're standing
up in the studio right which one are you more
excited about? I want to be able to steal myself

(29:49):
towards one, not the other. Second one? Second one plant
based hot takes? Okay, I guess we're gonna have plant
based hot takesmort and you want to know me have
to have to we have to have tysher pick the
Thursday night game next Wednesday. But he's hot and he'll
make crazy ass.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Picks for me, and he's gonna walk in tomorrow saying, hey,
roses are overrated, overpriced? Plant based bangles by twenty one?
Is that Thursday? Who are they playing?

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Well, let's worry about you tomorrow. Let's warmorrow first. I
don't know Next Thursday. I'm not sure you're the sports
guy knew he knew it and you didn't. Is it
Bengal Steelers next Thursday? Oh boys, testing Steelers coming off
of bye week. That's gonna be a great hot hos
know your Thursday nights? No you okay? All right, very good,

(30:38):
very good. Okay, So plant based hot takes. All right,
that's what we're gonna get tomorrow night. I guess oh man, okay,
all right, you know it's my fault. I'm sorry. I'm
sorry to start singing into the woods. It was your fault,
are your fault? It's my I know, it's all my fault.
It's again, it's my fault. It's a past judgment again.
But I but listen, I'm preemptively apologizing. So whatever happens tomorrow,

(31:01):
I want to say.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
I mean, it's generally the the concept of giving up segments.
It's a little foreign here. All right again, but I'm
excited to hear what you come up with.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Really, I preemptively will preempt yours and say you're welcome. Okay,
So we have that going on tomorrow night time. How
to find out what's trending in the wide world's person?
Someone who I know is going to be tuning in
to plant based hot takes tomorrow night. Sure, probably with
some plant based hot takes of her own. Listen, it's Manzila.
I love plant based. You don't eat meat, That's what

(31:35):
I'm saying. I have to eat plants.

Speaker 5 (31:39):
And a cauliflower of pizza. Cress is delicious. Trader Joe's
has a great.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
One, by the way, can you I can't get it
that my Trader Joe's doesn't count's pretty good?

Speaker 5 (31:48):
Are you serious?

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Can you buy? Bring it in for me?

Speaker 5 (31:50):
Bring that sweet? They just don't carry it.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
No, I can never get to go. Sorry, we don't though.
What's that I heard? Lebron's gonna bring it to Blaze
by Yeah, he's gonna work on his glute at Blaze
while he's sitting out and not playing sayan yes, yes,
do you have the No, we don't care, we don't
have it. I don't know. We'll take care of you.
I'll give you a secret. Go to sprouts and get
the actual sweet potato crust. That's yeah. Now that's a

(32:17):
precursor to a plant based hot take for tomorrow night. Okay,
all rights, planting seed because the sweet potato crats hey
wait a minute here it is because the the cauliflower
crust is Jake Browning, but the plant base sweet potato
crust is Joe Flacco. Get that instead. Joe Flacco is
elite and the Bengals win by fourteen. There you go,

(32:38):
all right, and Aaron Rodgers is the crust with mold?

Speaker 4 (32:42):
Who is the sweet potato crusts? Between Jackson dar and
Jalen Hurts?

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Cam scataboo, cam.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Scataboo got it, cam' scataboo with a hat trick? Yeah, scataboo.
Scataboo scataboo.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:55):

off Week six of the NFL. Jack and Dart started
things off, and they're opening drive with a rushing touchdown.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Jalen Hurts ended twenty four of thirty three for two.

Hundred and eighty three yards and a touchdown, also an
interception that came in the second half. When it comes
to baseball, the Dodger survived two to one on an
air from Phillies pitcher a Ryan Kirkering in the eleventh
inning to advance to the Championship Series.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
If you missed it, the bases were loaded.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
Anti pot Has hit a ball back to Kirkering, who
mishandled it. Instead of throwing it to first base, he
overthrew the ball to home and Hayesan cam scored the
winning run.

Speaker 5 (33:39):
Here is manager Rob Thompson of the Phillies.

Speaker 6 (33:42):
Rob obviously heartbreaking wa to lose, to get a long
conversation with Oryan coming off the field.

Speaker 1 (33:46):

him or.

Speaker 6 (33:49):
Just to keep his heat up? And he just got
caught up in the moment a little bit coming down
the stretch here.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
He pitched so well for us.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
I feel for him because he's putting it all on
his show. We went as a team and we lose
as a teams.
