number one. I want to say first, overall, I appreciate
all the different twists and turns in this story because
this is something that just cut through the clutter, right,
I mean, just just the drama of him staying or going,

How open it was in the media, how his decision
is criticized, how the decision to let him go is criticized,
how the decision to let him stay and coach be criticized,
How lane Kiffin said he prayed on stuff and the
team wanted him to stay.

Is still going even though the big decision was made
lane Kiffin's head coach at LSU.

I love that claiming he was almost run off the

million dollars from LSU and anything you want. Like, you
can't be that sad seck about this. I mean, come on,
but all of it. It's been the second half of
the college football season. Right, we had the firings at
Penn State, which we talked about, we talk about Florida,

all of these things, and then obviously Brian Kelly and
more and more stories are emerging about how much people
really had a liking problem with him. To wit, we
have this from just in the last couple of hours.
A couple of Ole Miss players have now decided, Okay,
it's been twenty four hours. We have a new head

coach now here. We are going to punch back at
coach Kiffin. Kiffin puts out a statement that in retrospect,
is a really bad idea when he says, hey, I
prayed a lot figured it, you know, which is fine. Yeah,
I want you to know that I prayed a lot
over it. Oh, it has nothing to do with the money,
the opportunity. No, I prayed over it.

Okay.

But one of the big things he said was that quote,
I was hoping to complete an historic six year historic
it's end historic.

Yeah he's missing an end.

Lose his Copye a terrible You don't go to school
at ole Miss, right, it doesn't matter he didn't go. Okay,
I was hoping to complete a historic sixth season run
with this year's team by leading Ole Miss through the playoffs,
capitalizing on the team's incredible success and their commitment to
finish strong. Okay, Then he goes on to say that
Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter denied his request to

stay coaching through the playoff quote despite the team also
asking him to allow me to keep coaching them so
they could better maintain their high level of performance. So
this is Lane Kiffin saying, Hey, I wanted to stay
this evil ad Keith Carter wouldn't let me do it,
despite the fact that team asked me to stay and
keep coaching. Well, this part has caught the attention of

a couple of players now, including starting center Bryson Sanders,
who put this on social media just an hour or
so ago.

Coaching, I think everyone that was in that room would disagree.
This is what Bryson Sanders wrote on next despite the
team asking me to keep coaching, I think everyone that
was in that room would disagree. Right now, you also
had senior linebacker sun Treene Perkins, the second player to
refute Kiffin by saying that was not the message you

said in the meeting room. That's sell what you told
the meeting room man, that's not the message you gave us,
this message of I wanted to stay, they wanted me
to stay. All this So you had one player say
everybody room would disagree, and now another player saying, that's
not the message you said in the meeting room.

First thing, I want to say. First, first thing, right away,
let's get the elephant out of the room.

Then the second line was everybody who was in there

one hundred and twenty players. All of these guys are
gonna walk up and put their jerseys at a desk
like it's rudy, he's a liar. Dan Devine's going, all right,

say this, even though these are what we have from
players saying this, does anybody doubt this latest development in

the story whatsoever?

They're gas light Lane Kiffin, There absolutely gas light Lane
Kiffin on this, No, let me way doubt it. I
can't wait for the next guys to come toward right,
I mean, did you believe any of his statement? I
believe that he prayed, right, he that's part of that.
It's been consistent with how he's talked about decision making.
It's et cetera. And that's it. Right, he talked to

his family. Okay, I believe that. But he's also a
claiming he'd never talked to his agent about the money. Really, yeah,
they know. All the people say, I don't know.

all I wanted to read about was, ah, what happened
behinds behind the scenes, how he went from Oakland when

I'm a lot lying to you. The first line in

how he became head coach the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Come on, man,

up and they moved my room like it's mission impossible.
And they moved my room and I woke up and
suddenly I'm the head coach Tampa. I'm wearing Tampa gear.

I put the book down and I said, I'm not
going to finish it, and I never I said, that
is that is the why? Even right, I'm mad. I

he wrote a completely horrible book here. But oh no,
the big thing people want to know, Yeah, I have
no idea this day. How he became the head coach
Dampa Buccaneers. Oh, I don't know. And he said something like,

trying to and victim is probably not the right word,

encompassing to this is like he was forced by all
these other powers to make this, that it was not
a conscious decision. When you've had reports of how much

he loved and then his little press conference where he
started talking about the awe of Death Valley and being
on the sideline and what it's all about, Like, no, no,
that's when the little kid you let and you know,
betrayed everything else you'd been saying about how difficult this
whole process was. And I'm not gonna say and categorically
dismiss it that maybe he didn't grapple with it for

a minute, but beyond that, come on, like it's it
seemed pretty clear all systems were go. And I would
love to have the all the administrators in a room here.
You're attached to polygraphs. Let's talk about the process, man,
Let's really get down to the heart of it, because

I'm talking on the field football stuff. Has there been

a more unlikable head coach in all of football the
last twenty five years than Lane Kiffin, Brian Kelly More.
They love but notre Dame loved him until he left him.
He left right because he got to the like behind
the scenes saying football reasons. I'm saying for football reasons

because all Lane Kiffin has been football reasons. This is
it's not been it's not been any staged. Sure, you get,
you get, you get away from stuff on the field.
And look, Kelly had the horrible, uh tragedy with it
with the kid. You had that that that's that that
that was that was never appropriately done by the university
or him. That's beyond that drama. That's beyond football, right,
that that's human stuff, that's life styff. But I mean

for strictly football reasons because think about all the places
where he's been, where they couldn't wait to see him
go Raiders USC leaving Uce, I'm going, I'm going here, Tennessee,
at Mississippi, everywhere he's going. Him gone right, Glad he's gone.
Like I really, I don't think there's been a more
for strictly football reasons in all of football in the

last twenty five years than Lane Kiffin.

I'm not gonna get in trouble if I said Urban Meyer, would.

did they ever hate him in Ohio State? I don't
think they ever. Did they ever hate him in Florida

won national titles. I don't think he's ever hated there. Again,
things that have had things hated happening, But I mean,
the guy won, the guy won titles. There gotta be
in Michigan all the time, right, in Florida won two
titles now with Chris Lee, he won with Tim Tebow, right,

And you think about everywhere Lane Kiffin has been, it's
been Yeah, glad he's gone, no matter whether he's been

today a slot after he was let go, when the

it really is.

just what he did now, it's like, look at all
the other stuff, a lot of stop going back to
the fact he was fighting with Al Davis so bad.
When he went out on the field to do interviews,
he was wearing red gear with red color and not
raiders color. Sure, like red pullovers and red hats. Yeah,
I can't, can't do it, can't do it.

I mean think about that now. The Tennessee exit was ugly. Yeah,

So here we are the latest developments with Lane Kiff.
We'll get into the playoff poll in a second couple
of players refuted his statement that he said, Hey, the
players wanted me to stay to coach the team. They
told me no. A couple of players say, yeah, that's
not how that went down in the meeting. Has there
been for strictly football reasons Pete a more unlikable head
(18:12):
coach in all of football in the last twenty five years?
Strictly football reasons more unlikely link everywhere he's been, they
they're so excited for him be laef like everywhere he's been.
Speaker 6 (18:23):
You mean, like Brian Kelly doesn't count.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
I mean they love Brian Kelly and Notre Dame all
the way we got them to a national championship game.
Speaker 6 (18:31):
They you know, oh they they do not They did
not like the whole game. But anyway, yeah, you're right. Look,
I get it. There's no easy way to do this.
I'm not a Wayne kiff an apologist. I honestly, I
know I should care about this. But whatever, So he's
going to go to LSU. All these SEC coaches are
going to be fired, you know. So it's like, okay,

you go go make generational wealth and then do something else.
But okay, you know it's when I here's the other question,
I'll ask you forget likability. Has there ever been this
much hubbub over a coach who's never really won anything
other than a Conference USA championship?
Speaker 3 (19:11):
It's fair? Yeah, yeah, no, absolutely, you know.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
I mean, I mean, that's a name, it's a guy
that we've known for what twenty some odd years, So
job off to job hop, hanging out with Saban like
all of those things.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Yeah, I mean, at the points.
Speaker 6 (19:25):
Valid, I think it's I think it's been great. I mean,
other than the Raiders gig, I think he's always been good.
He was good at USC and they had the Reggie
Bush problem, which wasn't his fault. Uh, he would hammered them.
He had one good year at Tennessee before he left
for a better job at USC. He was great at
Florida Atlantic, and he's been the best coach in the
history of all of this football. So he is good,
(19:46):
and that's just kind of a big question. We've never
seen him at a job where he could just fully
go you know us Again, USC should have been it,
but it wasn't because of all those restrictions and the
penalty that they got hit with a Tennessee he was
only there for a year. So all right, let's see
what he can do with everything at his disposal, because
(20:07):
this is the only thing I could come up with.
And I don't mean to speak ill of the Seas,
but like it's maybe Mike Leach is the only coach
who there's a lot of stuff about, oh he's gonna
hear it. We never really won, but for Kiffin for this, okay,
you know, because remember when Saban took over the Bama job,
he had the LSU thing happened for him, you know,
(20:29):
so sometimes these things are warranted. But in this case, okay,
let's see.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Yeah, it's just the curiosity, you know, with with his
statements and those those last few days and the number
of people standing for him to stick to stay on
for another month. I'm like, as LSU, do they just
want to issue a statement to just say no, this
wouldn't work for us.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
I mean, it just blows it all up right there.
Speaker 6 (20:53):
Right. Well, my biggest problem is, you know, like, well
I'm going to go pray on it, like, okay, come on, now,
it's God's fault if he's not staying around, you know,
like if God tells him, you know, go tick the
Yukon job. I don't think that's quite happening in his prayer,
you know. So it's just so disingenuous. It's like you
knew he was taking this gig. Everyone knew it. It
(21:15):
was just a question of how to land the plane.
And I get it, you know, he probably wants it's
by Ferris to the players that if he would be
coaching in you know, sort of this thing. But I
also get you'll miss thing of Okay, National Signing Day,
for whatever it's worth, is tomorrow and the whole Okay,
we want a Michigan man coaching Michigan sort of way.
Let's see what Pete Golding can do.

All right, Pete, Now let's get to the college football
playoff poll. It's out. I saw you on fire today.
You're talking about jerry mandering with the polls, and hey,
look I agree, Alabama ahead of Notre Dame. They're telling
you were getting five SEC teams into the College Football Playoff,
And I gotta say, I can't fault a great strategy.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
As the SEC did the College Football Playoff, pole listened,
They're going to do it well.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
They did it by hooks, like having ESPN have a
direct tie to them. Financially. But that's but look, it
looks bad. But first of all, and I've said this before,
the College Football Playoff CAMM be legitimately, really really sincerely
watched the best tournament there. There are no real alternative motives.
(22:17):
I mean, last year, you know the whole oh they
are so in the back of the SEC. Well then
last year they should have put in Alabama over SMU,
which was actually been the right thing, and they didn't
do it. That SMU is a ratings you know, death
blow in Alabama's Alabama and basic they didn't do it.
So I do get it. The problem with it is
why now? I mean because look, there's no rationale for it.

Because if you thought Notre Dame was better or should
have been ranked higher last week, well what changed? I

to the SEC championship is out. So it just seemed
like a little it's a little too convenient of the

in terms of bias, but it sure does look bad
when you're kind of making sure that Okay, well, if
the College Football Playoff Committee keeps the plan from last year,
and this is the thing that your sech is not under,
your SEC is being really cagy about. And he will
not answer this question. I got on a call. I
didn't get answer my question or whatever my question is
going to be. This, are you saying that you are

not keeping the same rules from last year when you
said conference championship losers do not get punished and do
not drop. Because if that's the case, then nor name's safe,
nor name is fine. But he wouldn't say that. He
would just say, you know, well, you know, idle teams
will move. Well, yeah, if Aladema wins and some of
the teams that topple drop down a little.

Yeah, it's the curiosity.

Also, now that we've got the coaches slap fighting over
style points again Pete. So, I mean I think that's
got a fun little element that's cropped back up a
little bit.

I mean, like, who's looks better than Notre Dame. I mean,
we can I know the schedule has been great since,
but again, they lost their first two games of the year.
You know, by you know, a play. You know you're
don't have a fumble snap or a miracle fourth down play.
I know this is all works. You know, everyone loses.
You know, do you lose, you lose, But still it's
it's something they got clocked by either one of the

by Miami or Texas. A and m those are as
close as it possibly gets against two elite teams. And
you know, I you know, Ralph LUSA thep just tweeted
out I'm with them, Like, if you're really doing this,
you know, why is he go home in this thing?
You know, why are you having a fifth SDC team
as opposed to what you have to do? Because Alabama's
got to be behind him at this point. But how
do you do that and say, okay, you or fifth

the SEC you should be ahead of Miami and Notre
Dame when objectively, if you watch these two teams, they
are two of the ten best teams in the country,
and I think either one of them at this point,
including Texas A and M with Notre Dame, I think
either one of these teams beats everybody in the SEC.

do you see there being any way that next year
we're not at sixteen teams.

It's tough. I mean, my kind of beef is the
same thing with the whole thing with a bubble of

don't deserve to be in the NCAA tournament. If we're
talking about you, as you know, the team that's on
the outs, well, something went wrong that didn't get you.
You didn't press enough to get in there. So you know,
look by you pucks on your sick son. You know
there's no whining. If you've been the Big twelve championship,

you're in. You know, so they get their shot to
get in this thing. You know, I get it if
you're Notre Dame. But you know, the schedule wasn't that
great after losing their two big game, so you know,
I do think that Tatina could actually win the national championship.

all the way around, but let's just keep winning, win
your conference championship and get in. If you don't win

fifty miles an hour, you're in trouble. But man, he
wasted that defense. You know, I know it rose up

But when you're going that fast against the elite team

who can run and pound the ball, then that time
of possession battle becomes a problem. So you know they're
gonna be you know, they're gonna be everyone's darling. Everyone's

you know, if they do have the attack to do
the offense to you the fire and it would be
a great story if they they went out there, and
you know, you know, Lane Kiffy, you know, if you
were still here, that'd be great. But Lane Kiffin's I

do actually believe he did want to coach in this
and all this kind of went now where you know,
you're Necker hanging around here. We're done with you, so

Figure out the most desperate team in the NFL. You
could tell because they went out and signed Adam Feeling today,
the Pittsburgh Steelers steel and who asked for his release
so we could go and potentially play somewhere else. The
Steelers went out and got Adam feeling.

desperate for anything with this offense.

Conversation we were having of the Daniel Stern look alike
Aaron Rodgers, the home alone look with the bandage and
black eyes and everything that Aaron Rodgers calling out John
new Smith, I'm sure, he's a professional and it's killing
him and eating him up and all that stuff talking
about guys running the wrong routes, and they have had
an issue with the younger receivers. They also have an

issue with the fact that Rogers can't, or at least
to this point through thirteen weeks, has been unwilling to
really work the ball down. The average intended air yards
per attempt is five point nine, tied with Dylan Gabriel.
Now it's like five point eight four, five point eight five.
So I was rounding up to be nice. That's nice
(39:15):
to you that that is deserally nice. It's good because
if anybody needs the rounding up, it's Aaron. Yeah, what
we're talking about is the average depth isn't there, and
that's where Feeling operates always did, had the opportunity to
go downfield. But he's one of those guys move those
chains and right now for the Steelers they need a
little bit more of that keep the defense off the field.
(39:36):
But for Aaron Rodgers, what's funny is they're still the
upper half in terms of scoring for the year. As
bad and as as discombobulated as it's been all season.
I mean, look, it's it's so. The Steelers are so
desperate that this is where they are. We're gonna go
get a guy and bring him in and give him

a decent role on the team. Right, you know you're
not gonna he he wanted to be let go where
he could go, get a bigger role somewhere and catch footballs.
He's not signing with the Steelers unless they said, hey man,
we need something. Okay, all the moves we made, nothing
is working. Our team is terrible. Everybody's finding out the
Emperor has no clothes. This is so, and it's so

we got to do something to get Aaron Rodgers going,
which I'm telling you two more weeks and it's gonna
be Will Hocketchew, Roman Wilson, Scottie Miller, Calvin Auston third,

is criticized, how the decision to let him go is criticized,
how the decision to let him stay and coach be criticized,
How lane Kiffin said he prayed on stuff and the
team wanted him to stay.

I just love that nothing this story.

Is still going even though the big decision was made
lane Kiffin's head coach at LSU.

I love that claiming he was almost run off the
road by people.

Then you add the Marty Smith interview again, I'm still
waiting for the violinist overlay for it in a little
band off to the side to play some sad music
as the tone and tenor.

It was like it was the worst day of his life.

It's like, no, dude, you're going to get a hundred
million dollars from LSU and anything you want. Like, you
can't be that sad seck about this. I mean, come on,
but all of it. It's been the second half of
the college football season. Right, we had the firings at
Penn State, which we talked about, we talk about Florida,

all of these things, and then obviously Brian Kelly and
more and more stories are emerging about how much people
really had a liking problem with him. To wit, we
have this from just in the last couple of hours.
A couple of Ole Miss players have now decided, Okay,
it's been twenty four hours. We have a new head
(02:51):
coach now here. We are going to punch back at
coach Kiffin. Kiffin puts out a statement that in retrospect,
is a really bad idea when he says, hey, I
prayed a lot figured it, you know, which is fine. Yeah,
I want you to know that I prayed a lot
over it. Oh, it has nothing to do with the money,
the opportunity. No, I prayed over it.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
But one of the big things he said was that quote,
I was hoping to complete an historic six year historic
it's end historic.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah he's missing an end.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Lose his Copye a terrible You don't go to school
at ole Miss, right, it doesn't matter he didn't go. Okay,
I was hoping to complete a historic sixth season run
with this year's team by leading Ole Miss through the playoffs,
capitalizing on the team's incredible success and their commitment to
finish strong. Okay, Then he goes on to say that
Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter denied his request to

stay coaching through the playoff quote despite the team also
asking him to allow me to keep coaching them so
they could better maintain their high level of performance. So
this is Lane Kiffin saying, Hey, I wanted to stay
this evil ad Keith Carter wouldn't let me do it,
despite the fact that team asked me to stay and
keep coaching. Well, this part has caught the attention of

a couple of players now, including starting center Bryson Sanders,
who put this on social media just an hour or
so ago.

Quote despite the team asking me to keep.

Coaching, I think everyone that was in that room would disagree.
This is what Bryson Sanders wrote on next despite the
team asking me to keep coaching, I think everyone that
was in that room would disagree. Right now, you also
had senior linebacker sun Treene Perkins, the second player to
refute Kiffin by saying that was not the message you

said in the meeting room. That's sell what you told
the meeting room man, that's not the message you gave us,
this message of I wanted to stay, they wanted me
to stay. All this So you had one player say
everybody room would disagree, and now another player saying, that's
not the message you said in the meeting room.

First thing, I want to say. First, first thing, right away,
let's get the elephant out of the room.

Then the second line was everybody who was in there
can vouch on this.

say this, even though these are what we have from
players saying this, does anybody doubt this latest development in

not how that went down in the meeting. Has there
been for strictly football reasons Pete a more unlikable head

coach in all of football in the last twenty five years?
Strictly football reasons more unlikely link everywhere he's been, they
they're so excited for him be laef like everywhere he's been.

You mean, like Brian Kelly doesn't count.

I mean they love Brian Kelly and Notre Dame all
the way we got them to a national championship game.

I get it. There's no easy way to do this.
I'm not a Wayne kiff an apologist. I honestly, I
know I should care about this. But whatever, So he's
going to go to LSU. All these SEC coaches are

But okay, you know it's when I here's the other question,
I'll ask you forget likability. Has there ever been this
much hubbub over a coach who's never really won anything
other than a Conference USA championship?

I mean, I mean, that's a name, it's a guy
that we've known for what twenty some odd years, So
job off to job hop, hanging out with Saban like
all of those things.

Valid, I think it's I think it's been great. I mean,
other than the Raiders gig, I think he's always been good.
He was good at USC and they had the Reggie
Bush problem, which wasn't his fault. Uh, he would hammered them.
He had one good year at Tennessee before he left
for a better job at USC. He was great at
Florida Atlantic, and he's been the best coach in the
history of all of this football. So he is good,

and that's just kind of a big question. We've never
seen him at a job where he could just fully
go you know us Again, USC should have been it,
but it wasn't because of all those restrictions and the
penalty that they got hit with a Tennessee he was
only there for a year. So all right, let's see
what he can do with everything at his disposal, because

this is the only thing I could come up with.
And I don't mean to speak ill of the Seas,
but like it's maybe Mike Leach is the only coach
who there's a lot of stuff about, oh he's gonna
hear it. We never really won, but for Kiffin for this, okay,
you know, because remember when Saban took over the Bama job,
he had the LSU thing happened for him, you know,

so sometimes these things are warranted. But in this case, okay,
let's see.

Yeah, it's just the curiosity, you know, with with his
statements and those those last few days and the number
of people standing for him to stick to stay on
for another month. I'm like, as LSU, do they just
want to issue a statement to just say no, this
wouldn't work for us.

I mean, it just blows it all up right there.

Right. Well, my biggest problem is, you know, like, well
I'm going to go pray on it, like, okay, come on, now,
it's God's fault if he's not staying around, you know,

you know. So it's just so disingenuous. It's like you
knew he was taking this gig. Everyone knew it. It

by Ferris to the players that if he would be
coaching in you know, sort of this thing. But I
also get you'll miss thing of Okay, National Signing Day,
for whatever it's worth, is tomorrow and the whole Okay,
we want a Michigan man coaching Michigan sort of way.

playoff poll. It's out. I saw you on fire today.
You're talking about jerry mandering with the polls, and hey,
look I agree, Alabama ahead of Notre Dame. They're telling
you were getting five SEC teams into the College Football Playoff,
And I gotta say, I can't fault a great strategy.

As the SEC did the College Football Playoff, pole listened,
They're going to do it well.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
They did it by hooks, like having ESPN have a
direct tie to them. Financially. But that's but look, it
looks bad. But first of all, and I've said this before,
the College Football Playoff CAMM be legitimately, really really sincerely
watched the best tournament there. There are no real alternative motives.

I mean, last year, you know the whole oh they
are so in the back of the SEC. Well then
last year they should have put in Alabama over SMU,
which was actually been the right thing, and they didn't
do it. That SMU is a ratings you know, death
blow in Alabama's Alabama and basic they didn't do it.
So I do get it. The problem with it is
why now? I mean because look, there's no rationale for it.

Because if you thought Notre Dame was better or should
have been ranked higher last week, well what changed? I
guess that. Okay, well, Alabama being a Vanderbilt team that's
blow out Tennessee. But whatever, Alabam tesse. How about Alabama
got clocked by the Florida stay team that just got
pants by Florida, a bad Florida Like you could do
this all the way around. There's nothing there other than

to buffer the possibility that uh oh, if BYU were
to upset Texas tech, that means the team that goes
to the SEC championship is out. So it just seemed
like a little it's a little too convenient of the
timing of this where everyone's you know who's saying, oh,
there's a bias here. Again. I don't think that's there

in terms of bias, but it sure does look bad
when you're kind of making sure that Okay, well, if
the College Football Playoff Committee keeps the plan from last year,
and this is the thing that your sech is not under,
your SEC is being really cagy about. And he will
not answer this question. I got on a call. I
didn't get answer my question or whatever my question is
going to be. This, are you saying that you are

not keeping the same rules from last year when you
said conference championship losers do not get punished and do
not drop. Because if that's the case, then nor name's safe,
nor name is fine. But he wouldn't say that. He
would just say, you know, well, you know, idle teams
will move. Well, yeah, if Aladema wins and some of
the teams that topple drop down a little.

Also, now that we've got the coaches slap fighting over
style points again Pete. So, I mean I think that's
got a fun little element that's cropped back up a

we can I know the schedule has been great since,
but again, they lost their first two games of the year.
You know, by you know, a play. You know you're
don't have a fumble snap or a miracle fourth down play.
I know this is all works. You know, everyone loses.
You know, do you lose, you lose, But still it's
it's something they got clocked by either one of the

by Miami or Texas. A and m those are as
close as it possibly gets against two elite teams. And
you know, I you know, Ralph LUSA thep just tweeted
out I'm with them, Like, if you're really doing this,
you know, why is he go home in this thing?
You know, why are you having a fifth SDC team
as opposed to what you have to do? Because Alabama's
got to be behind him at this point. But how
do you do that and say, okay, you or fifth

the SEC you should be ahead of Miami and Notre
Dame when objectively, if you watch these two teams, they
are two of the ten best teams in the country,
and I think either one of them at this point,
including Texas A and M with Notre Dame, I think
either one of these teams beats everybody in the SEC.

When when you see the way the playoff is right now,
do you see there being any way that next year
we're not at sixteen teams.

It's tough. I mean, my kind of beef is the
same thing with the whole thing with a bubble of
the NCAA tournament, you're if you're on a bubble, you
don't deserve to be in the NCAA tournament. If we're
talking about you, as you know, the team that's on
the outs, well, something went wrong that didn't get you.
You didn't press enough to get in there. So you know,
look by you pucks on your sick son. You know
there's no whining. If you've been the Big twelve championship,

you're in. You know, so they get their shot to
get in this thing. You know, I get it if
you're Notre Dame. But you know, the schedule wasn't that
great after losing their two big game, so you know,
I do think that Tatina could actually win the national championship.

I'll buy into that. And you know, so there's arguments
all the way around, but let's just keep winning, win
your conference championship and get in. If you don't win
your conference championship, you really don't have a legitimate beef

how do things go for them on the field through

is this style of play is cute and fun, and
if you can't hit the curve ball when they're going
fifty miles an hour, you're in trouble. But man, he
wasted that defense. You know, I know it rose up
against Oklahoma, but Oklahoma's offense has been kind of met.
But when you're going that fast against the elite team

who can run and pound the ball, then that time
of possession battle becomes a problem. So you know they're
gonna be you know, they're gonna be everyone's darling. Everyone's
gonna be rooting for him now. And you know, maybe,
you know, if they do have the attack to do
the offense to you the fire and it would be
a great story if they they went out there, and
you know, you know, Lane Kiffy, you know, if you
were still here, that'd be great. But Lane Kiffin's I

do actually believe he did want to coach in this
and all this kind of went now where you know,
you're Necker hanging around here. We're done with you, so
all right, it's just kind of an ugly, weird situation

really work the ball down. The average intended air yards
per attempt is five point nine, tied with Dylan Gabriel.
Now it's like five point eight four, five point eight five.
So I was rounding up to be nice. That's nice

to you that that is deserally nice. It's good because
if anybody needs the rounding up, it's Aaron. Yeah, what
we're talking about is the average depth isn't there, and
that's where Feeling operates always did, had the opportunity to
go downfield. But he's one of those guys move those
chains and right now for the Steelers they need a
little bit more of that keep the defense off the field.

But for Aaron Rodgers, what's funny is they're still the
upper half in terms of scoring for the year. As
bad and as as discombobulated as it's been all season.

desperate that this is where they are. We're gonna go
