point lead in the fourth quarter to a team to quit.

and somehow the Carolina Panthers at seven and six are
in first place. They didn't play tonight and they ascended

with the loss tonight. Now we'll get to just how
wide open the playoffs are. We using tonight as an
example coming because it's gonna it's gonna really shock you

I'm disappointed, like I wanted at least a couple of

you're either really impressed that he's able to keep his leg.

He didn't really he was well. But what Todd Bowles

very Baker Mayfield is fiery, Todd Bowles is composed. Todd
Bowles curses twenty seven times in a twenty five second
sound bite, and Baker Mayfield is more composed, like what
we're we're in the bizarro world right now. Yeah, but
can we get any more of of Boles behind the scenes.
I mean, someone's got to have a camera something to

also when you hear somebody who generally is soft spoken

and look, Todd Bowles has gotten a lot of credit
from anybody he's been the coach of in his career.
When you can be, when you can lead being softball,
you always have to yell at somebody. That's a really
effect generally having you know, the the heart rate of
a poker player, no matter how good or bad the
hand is. Oh sure, generally Todd Bowles. One of the
criticisms through his career is that he doesn't show enough. Yeah,

fire right, He's not Aaron Glenn dancing down the sideline,
which is perhaps a bit too much, but generally fifth
of September, Oh, by the way, that game against Todd
Bowles and the busy right. Uh, when someone is is
more soft spoken and and it's and you hear them
curse to that extent, it just it just shocks you, right,

It just really that's shit when you're used to, you know,
just soft spoken, use your words and then just saying
forget it. You know that that I gotta show how
upset I am because this is against character. You know,
It's it's funny because you know that all the times
I've coached when I'm coaching younger kids, coaching younger girls
in soccer and softball. Obviously you watch, yeah, And but

when they get older, and by that, I mean when
they get to the point where they're almost in high school.
They're in high school, they've heard curse words before. Uh,
you know, if I say, if I if I say
a curse word, not cursing at them, but if I
curse and say, ah, that blent whatever, it was, like
that's something that happened once in a while. Okay, that's great,
but not great. But it's okay. Like you're cursing in sports,

kind of go together. And again, it's never me cursing
at the players. It's just me cursing because something happened,
oh blank me on that or something, and somebody has
to hear. But what I get is that because the
girls growing up, not all of them knew what I
did for a living. That all knew that. You know,
I'm on the rate and I speak for a living.
But like the parents who did, like sometimes like after
a game, they would say, hey, hey, coach, what's up,

and they go look at me, go, well you look
at me, go, I I heard you curse there. You know,
in the in the sixth inning when you know when
the you know, the umpire missed that call or somebody's going,
oh yeah, yeah I did, and I said, well, I'm
sorry if he goes, no, no, no, it's just I hear
you on the radio, and you know, hearing you curse
is something new, and I'm I don't know, I don't
know how to do. You know what, come on after
ten o'clock, you'll hear us work blue. You hear what

I say to Harmon when the microphone is off. You
want to know it's true. No, there's no question about
so they always I always get a little bit of
that wide eyed like I never coach, I never knew
you were you curse like that. Well, it's funny, rights
as my daughter's played up the level, like chill, come
back and tell me some of the smack talk and
some of what goes on. Uh, and a lot of
our midfielders get into it. But she's had a couple

of opponents. She goes, I really wish I had a
microphone on for some of the stuff they were trying
to say, and then she shuts him down for the day.
And at the end they won't shake hands. They curse,
give her a blank, use the handshake like I need
I need more of that. That's fine. Fight fight, fight
the handshake line, fight fight going on, fight handshake line.
Never quite get gets to that, but yeah, it's there's

some contentiousness and certainly once the uh the girls start
chattering amongst themselves on the fields, like, all right, those
words are now in play. Let's go. If Todd Bowles
was playing heat to curse right out the Yeah, the
soft spoken guy, he's really mad, he's really really Look,
you do it for effect, right, It's like a comedian.
You meet her out and then you punctuate that one

gonna win Rookie of the Year. Okay probably sure? Okay, right,
he's overtaking a book. Okay with the smallest game for

If the Jets were in the NFC South, they'd before
games out of first.

We're still we're still nothing. We got a chance, man,
if we run the table and everybody else loses. See,
if you had a good quarterback, he might have been

this is how we think the NFL playoffs. This is
how wide open the playoffs are. I really nothing illustrates

it more than this. I was reading today, just one
of those things. Right. So if the if the playoffs
started today, right here, here's what the matchups would be.
And I'm just looking at that. Okay, Obviously the playoffs
don't start today. We have another month in the season
and lots of things can happen, lots of things can change.
We're still waiting to find out who's gonna be the
best teams in the playoffs going into it. But looking

at the matchups, how it would see, you know, the
teams and you know would have the buy in the
first round of the playoffs if the playoffs started today,
and let because that's the that's the the gambit with
this is yeah, here on December, just after the first
game of the week. If the playoffs started today, I

would take the lower seed to win every one of
the first round, all of them, all of them. I
would take Houston over New England because as good as
New England is, New England's good, advantageous schedule. Yeah, the
Texans defense best defense in the NFL. I do not
I do not see if they were playing again playing tomorrow,

season starts. If the play start tomorrow, SE's in it today,
the Texans playing a game tomorrow, I have more confidence
in their defense over the Patriots offense. Now, I will
give the Patriots a little bit of a crumb. It
was the closest game that I decided. Ah can I
really but I would take the Tillden hat on that one.
I would take the Texans defense over Drake Man his
first playoff currently giving up sixteen points per game, the

Patriots sitting at fifth at eighteen point five. With your
giant asterisk of the strength of schedule voting asterisk, I
would take Buffalo over Jacksonville. Oh see, this is that
might be where I zag. As much as you know,
I love Josh Allen. Chargers over the Steelers. Yeah, Bears

over the Packers. Bears should have probably won last week.
I take them in a playoff game against against the
Packers San Francisco. You know, I don't like San Francisco
at all. But Philadelphia looks like they're just waiting for
Santa to come down the chimney, the season to be over. Well,
and look, you're for your former head coach is getting
ready for another job. He's gonna have his pick. They're done,

and I would take Seattle by far and away over
I took him over Tampa, who had the spot coming in.
Now I take them easily over Carolina. I would take
all the lower Now, it's not always the lower seed
is the worst team, because of you have a situation
like the NFC South where the team in first place
is just okay, and the Seahawks are probably the second

best team in football, so it's not quite the upset,
but still I would take all the lower seeded teams
in these games, the Texans, the Bills, the Chargers, the Bears,
the forty nine Ers, and the Seahawks every single game.
Might take the lower seted team, seeah. I might look
at the Jaguars for the to hold serve for the
fact that they've got a good run defense that could

contain Cook and Allen to a degree, and they've got
a good run game of their own that they can
bludgeon what's been a pretty soft Buffalo squad midleate middle
of the pack. Now is it a coin toss, Yeah,
because I still have Trevor Lawrence has to make a
play for me somewhere, and I'm feeling better about it
with Jacoby Myers and Brenton Strange back in the MIXX. Yeah,

although it's strange you kind of hit the skids the
last week or two. But Myers is coming on like
he's he's that actually marriage. Yeah, I didn't think he'd
have that. It's really hard sometimes you get but there
was nobody else. There's also nobody else there you have

got hurt. Thomas has been in and out of the line. Sure,

the Bills in that one. And then you picked the
Chargers of Frostburg's match er, I'm not picking them, Are

Worst matchup for a QB Aaron Rodgers against the Chargers,

and minus twenty against the Bears. Oh well, you can
at least still move the ball on the Bears, Okay,

to a game that I have no no skin in

to do this great bit a long time ago when

where teams didn't have games, like he would just go.
I remember he would have appeared at the Syracuse bookstore
and he came and he signed autographs, and I remember
em seeing an appearance he had there when I was

in college, and he came and he answered questions. It
was a great thay he but like that you want
to talk about an ambassador for a sport, I mean
he gets his run. I don't think he gets enough
of a run for what he did for college basketball.
He used to do this bit where he would go
to uh like, let's just say, I remember he did this.
He did this for a Syracuse Georgetown game, Like he
went to Georgetown, did an appearance for the for the

week and like Syracuse playing Georgetown like a week and
a half away. So each team had like two or
three games. But of course you go to appearance at
Georgetown Bookstore, you had to talk about Georgetown Syracuse and
and he would not He would do this, and he
did this with so many schools. He would say, Hey,
I'm here at Georgetown Bookstore.

lost to the Falcons twenty nine twenty eight on a
field goal on the final play, even though the Falcons
had nineteen penalties for over one hundred and twenty five yards,
and even though the Falcons record was four and nine.

Coming in Kyle Pitt's three touchdown receptions, he had eleven
catches one hundred and sixty six yards. Kirk Cousins threw
for three seventy three Vjon Robinson in victory one hundred
and seventy five total yards, one TV one fumble. Baker
Mayfield sacked five times and lost two touchdowns one interception.
The Bucks were tied for first in the NFC South

with Carolina. Tampa Bay plays two of its final three
games against the Panthers this season. It's a Falcons team
that had lost seven of eight, including a loss at
the Jets for crying out lot. Wide receiver Mike Evans
back for Tampa Bay tonight. He'd been out since October
with broken collarbone. Six catches one hundred and thirty two yards.
Wide receiver Drake London was out for a fourth straight

game for Atlanta with a spring knee. Tampa Bay, after
a six and two start this season, has lost five
of six. Steelers pass rusher TJ. Watt was hospitalized for
a lung injury, so his status for Monday night is
in question. Packers running back Josh Jacobs mispractice with a
knee injury.

Bengals wide receiver T Higgins was limited in practice again
today after a concussion. Fired Michigan football coach Sharon Moore

is likely out for the postseason after being injured in
the team's Big Ten title celebration. Was three in the

had a great human moment from Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow
turned twenty nine a day ago and got a lot
of questions today is press conference about this season now
that it looks like the Bengals are cooked. Big game
on Sunday, he had a big game against the Bills

had a chance. But now it's a lost season for them.
He was asked about his happiness level, and he talked
a lot like It's not just one question and answer.
He talked about how he's got some things going on
personally and his happiness level right now with playing quarterback
in the NFL isn't quite what you think it is.

I want to keep doing this. I have to have
fun doing it. You know. I've been through a lot,
and if it's not fun, then what am I doing
it for. I'm not sure. I'm not sure there is
a singular moment or of time. It's just a reflection
reflection on a lot of things that I've done and
been through in my career. I think I've been through

more than most and it's certainly not easy on the
brain or the body. So let's trying to have I'm
doing it.

and I get it right, Say, how many stories do
you need to hear about the Bengals franchise, how poorly

it's run, what they come up, how they come up
with on every end of year list, where the anonymous
survey where the players talk about the worst teams and
what they they're from childcare to training, table food, and
the Bengals coming in the bottom of so many of
these things, which is now you know, subject to a lawsuit. Right,
A big fight between the Players' Association and everybody else.

It's easy to see me see Joe Burrow going. I
have come back and put my body on the line
of a tough time staying healthy. It's the twenty eighth
ranked offensive line in the NFL, and maybe Sunday's loss
broke him to the point where, Okay, I gotta get
out of here. Now. We tried it here, I got paid,
but I gotta get out because if I'm gonna continue
to do this, I want to be happy. No doubt

in my mind, Joe Burrow is going to be on
a new team next year in the NFL. There's no
doubt that they will find a way and he will
be traded someplace else, whether he's got a hold out
or not to wait to get the deal. Because we've
seen the Bengals do this before. I watch Mike Brown
do with Carson Palmer. You're gonna sit out A wow,
I'm gonna ship you to the Raiders. The thing for
Joe Burrow is, does he sound like a guy that's

not gonna be okay with sitting out? Hey, I'm just
gonna stay healthy. I know how good am I'm twenty
nine years old. I'm in my prime. I got a
lot of money. You're gonna trade me eventually, and he's
going to get that trade. If the Bengals want to
play hardball, he will play hardball as well and they
will wind up trading him. But after this, this is
him firing that first salvo. This offseason. Stuff has to change.
The Bengals are failing and have failed. The one biggest thing.

Keep your quarterback happy, keep him up right, keep him healthy.
They tried to bring and I'm not saying they didn't,
they just ignored it. Hey, they gave money to Jamar Chase,
they give money to t Higgins. We're gonna keep our
guys around. But overall you can tell, hey, things are
not going well. You want to be happy coming into
work every day, and he doesn't. Not like a guy
that's happy coming into work every day. Well, generally that's
what everybody aspires to, right, five days a week, six

days a week, seven howeverbody did when you work, you
want to don't want to loathe the alarm clock and
walking in that front door. For Burrow, it's just, you know,
the competitive fire again, the fact that he battled back
from this injury to get back on the field, looms large.
So it's either the threat of hey, everything needs to change,
because what did they do with Hendrickson and sign him

long term? They gave more money for this year, he's
gonna walk. He's also hurt and hasn't been available for
what has been a here to form miserable miserable defense.
So it's either everything changes or you know, I've got
some destinations in mind. So what teams make the most
sense that can pull off a trade for him where
he would want to go. We got that coming up next,

and somehow the Carolina Panthers at seven and six are
in first place. They didn't play tonight and they ascended

wide open the playoffs are. We using tonight as an

very Baker Mayfield is fiery, Todd Bowles is composed. Todd

sound bite, and Baker Mayfield is more composed, like what
we're we're in the bizarro world right now. Yeah, but

I mean, someone's got to have a camera something to

chronicle that. I mean, come on, that's next normal stuff. Yeah,
normally just well, you know, we didn't have it tonight.

this blanket guy and that blanken guy coaches did all

also when you hear somebody who generally is soft spoken

and look, Todd Bowles has gotten a lot of credit
from anybody he's been the coach of in his career.
When you can be, when you can lead being softball,
you always have to yell at somebody. That's a really
effect generally having you know, the the heart rate of
a poker player, no matter how good or bad the
hand is. Oh sure, generally Todd Bowles. One of the
criticisms through his career is that he doesn't show enough. Yeah,

fire right, He's not Aaron Glenn dancing down the sideline,
which is perhaps a bit too much, but generally fifth
of September, Oh, by the way, that game against Todd
Bowles and the busy right. Uh, when someone is is
more soft spoken and and it's and you hear them
curse to that extent, it just it just shocks you, right,

It just really that's shit when you're used to, you know,
just soft spoken, use your words and then just saying
forget it. You know that that I gotta show how
upset I am because this is against character. You know,
It's it's funny because you know that all the times
I've coached when I'm coaching younger kids, coaching younger girls
in soccer and softball. Obviously you watch, yeah, And but

when they get older, and by that, I mean when
they get to the point where they're almost in high school.
They're in high school, they've heard curse words before. Uh,
you know, if I say, if I if I say
a curse word, not cursing at them, but if I
curse and say, ah, that blent whatever, it was, like
that's something that happened once in a while. Okay, that's great,
but not great. But it's okay. Like you're cursing in sports,
(10:59):
kind of go together. And again, it's never me cursing
at the players. It's just me cursing because something happened,
oh blank me on that or something, and somebody has
to hear. But what I get is that because the
girls growing up, not all of them knew what I
did for a living. That all knew that. You know,
I'm on the rate and I speak for a living.
But like the parents who did, like sometimes like after
a game, they would say, hey, hey, coach, what's up,
(11:21):
and they go look at me, go, well you look
at me, go, I I heard you curse there. You know,
in the in the sixth inning when you know when
the you know, the umpire missed that call or somebody's going,
oh yeah, yeah I did, and I said, well, I'm
sorry if he goes, no, no, no, it's just I hear
you on the radio, and you know, hearing you curse
is something new, and I'm I don't know, I don't
know how to do. You know what, come on after
ten o'clock, you'll hear us work blue. You hear what
(11:43):
I say to Harmon when the microphone is off. You
want to know it's true. No, there's no question about
so they always I always get a little bit of
that wide eyed like I never coach, I never knew
you were you curse like that. Well, it's funny, rights
as my daughter's played up the level, like chill, come
back and tell me some of the smack talk and
some of what goes on. Uh, and a lot of
our midfielders get into it. But she's had a couple

of opponents. She goes, I really wish I had a
microphone on for some of the stuff they were trying
to say, and then she shuts him down for the day.
And at the end they won't shake hands. They curse,
give her a blank, use the handshake like I need
I need more of that. That's fine. Fight fight, fight
the handshake line, fight fight going on, fight handshake line.
Never quite get gets to that, but yeah, it's there's

some contentiousness and certainly once the uh the girls start
chattering amongst themselves on the fields, like, all right, those
words are now in play. Let's go. If Todd Bowles
was playing heat to curse right out the Yeah, the
soft spoken guy, he's really mad, he's really really Look,
you do it for effect, right, It's like a comedian.
You meet her out and then you punctuate that one

of those things. Right. So if the if the playoffs
started today, right here, here's what the matchups would be.
And I'm just looking at that. Okay, Obviously the playoffs
don't start today. We have another month in the season
and lots of things can happen, lots of things can change.
We're still waiting to find out who's gonna be the
best teams in the playoffs going into it. But looking

at the matchups, how it would see, you know, the
teams and you know would have the buy in the
first round of the playoffs if the playoffs started today,
and let because that's the that's the the gambit with
this is yeah, here on December, just after the first
game of the week. If the playoffs started today, I

would take the lower seed to win every one of
the first round, all of them, all of them. I
would take Houston over New England because as good as
New England is, New England's good, advantageous schedule. Yeah, the
Texans defense best defense in the NFL. I do not
I do not see if they were playing again playing tomorrow,

season starts. If the play start tomorrow, SE's in it today,
the Texans playing a game tomorrow, I have more confidence
in their defense over the Patriots offense. Now, I will
give the Patriots a little bit of a crumb. It
was the closest game that I decided. Ah can I
really but I would take the Tillden hat on that one.

He was asked about his happiness level, and he talked
a lot like It's not just one question and answer.

I want to keep doing this. I have to have
fun doing it. You know. I've been through a lot,
and if it's not fun, then what am I doing

more than most and it's certainly not easy on the

what they they're from childcare to training, table food, and
the Bengals coming in the bottom of so many of

It's easy to see me see Joe Burrow going. I
have come back and put my body on the line
of a tough time staying healthy. It's the twenty eighth

but I gotta get out because if I'm gonna continue
to do this, I want to be happy. No doubt

in my mind, Joe Burrow is going to be on
a new team next year in the NFL. There's no
doubt that they will find a way and he will
be traded someplace else, whether he's got a hold out
or not to wait to get the deal. Because we've
seen the Bengals do this before. I watch Mike Brown
do with Carson Palmer. You're gonna sit out A wow,
I'm gonna ship you to the Raiders. The thing for
Joe Burrow is, does he sound like a guy that's

not gonna be okay with sitting out? Hey, I'm just
gonna stay healthy. I know how good am I'm twenty
nine years old. I'm in my prime. I got a
lot of money. You're gonna trade me eventually, and he's
going to get that trade. If the Bengals want to
play hardball, he will play hardball as well and they
will wind up trading him. But after this, this is
him firing that first salvo. This offseason. Stuff has to change.
The Bengals are failing and have failed. The one biggest thing.

Keep your quarterback happy, keep him up right, keep him healthy.
They tried to bring and I'm not saying they didn't,
they just ignored it. Hey, they gave money to Jamar Chase,
they give money to t Higgins. We're gonna keep our
guys around. But overall you can tell, hey, things are
not going well. You want to be happy coming into
work every day, and he doesn't. Not like a guy
that's happy coming into work every day. Well, generally that's
what everybody aspires to, right, five days a week, six

days a week, seven howeverbody did when you work, you
want to don't want to loathe the alarm clock and
walking in that front door. For Burrow, it's just, you know,
the competitive fire again, the fact that he battled back
from this injury to get back on the field, looms large.
So it's either the threat of hey, everything needs to change,
because what did they do with Hendrickson and sign him

long term? They gave more money for this year, he's
gonna walk. He's also hurt and hasn't been available for
what has been a here to form miserable miserable defense.
So it's either everything changes or you know, I've got
some destinations in mind. So what teams make the most
sense that can pull off a trade for him where
