Good evening, everybody, Aaron Torres, Artie span your in for
the guys, Jason Smith and his best friend Mike Carmen

(00:24):
right here on Fox Sports Radio. Good evening, and Merry Christmas.
Tat Torres, Merry Christmas, Arnie Spanier, how you doing good?
We're gonna get a little snow out here in Vermont.
How after, right after the show ends tonight, what time
are you sending out your wife to to to shovel
since we know that you don't shovel yourself. I have
a bad back, Yeah, but don't. She's got a bad

(00:46):
back from carrying your family for fifty years. My excuse
my wife. You know what the funny is. We have
a community that shovels the snow for you, but my
wife likes to shovel, so she'll go out there. Right
off the bat, you have to go into attack. Is
an attack if it's true, Like if you know, if
I call Chris Paul, one of the shortest guys in

(01:07):
the NBA. That's not an attack. That's true. You don't shovel.
Everyone knows you don't cook. You don't. You don't shovel.
I don't you have though I do eat. You have
your You have your StairMaster for hanging clothes. So I
mean at least you hang up your own clothes. It
sounds like or does your wife hang up your clothes
and put them on the StairMaster too? Uh? Well, I
think she hangs up my clothes. Also, what do you

(01:27):
do contribute besides b minus humor around the house. I
do the radio show, okay, I bring it a paycheck
that's got to meet something. Contribute of the income to
the house. Okay. I mean she we know, she's an
award winning salesperson. She wins free trips all the time.
I'm a trophy husband. I I don't know if you
know that. You know what's funny? I was watching, uh,

(01:49):
Meet the Parents and then the sequel Meet the Fockers.
I gotta be careful how I say that. It's a movie. Okay,
And no I bring it up because al Pacino, who
obviously the father in law. They go to Greg's house,
Greg f if you will, and his parents have up
all his ninth tenth place trophies that he got. I

(02:10):
feel like you. I feel like that's the trophy, husband,
that you are the ninth and tenth place trophy, the participation.
You're the participation trophy of husband's. Absolutely that is my thing.
I have the trophy husband out here. And like I said,
we get a little snow on Christmas out here, and
so right after the show about four in the morning,
it's gonna start coming down here a little bit. I
will say. We have had rain, nothing but NonStop here

(02:33):
for the last two days in in l A. And
guess what that Guess what that rain is up in
the mountains. I bet whoever enjoys skiing, anybody that's in
uh Big Bear or anything right now is telling my
wife that I said, man, it would be so cool
to be up in Big Bear right now. It must
be coming down like crazy. So I crack up at
your horror stories out there with some of the producers
and hosts. That's say, they are thirty miles away from

(02:57):
the station and it took him like two and a
half hours to get to work because of all the
traffic of the rain and stuff like that going on.
You know, people do not know how to drive in
the rain in l A. There's no doubt, uh And
I don't need to make light of this, but I
remember around this time last year during the holidays, we
got some rain and I saw and thankfully I was okay,
and I think the guy ended up being okay, but

(03:18):
kind of skidded to the side and was you know,
it was one of those Arnie, And I know you've
lived all over so you know, and I'm not trying
to make light or jokes on Christmas Eve, but the
guy flew right past me in the rain and I said, dude,
do not drive like that in the rain. And sure
enough whatever he was okay, everything was fine. But but
people that had a horror story where you're stuck in
traffic like crazy or was Oh yeah, I mean every

(03:39):
time it rains, it's it's this. It's the same deal here,
so uh so no, I I uh, you know, I
try to stay off the roads and and everything, but
we'veout a lot of rain no snow. But like I said,
I guarantee this the mountains and Big Bear definitely some
snow up there. And so I hope everybody listening wherever
you're listening or having a great Christmas. Got some snow
like Arnie's about to get Yeah, so and enjoy your

(04:00):
Christmas Eve as we get you into your Christmas. We'll
be here with you for the next four hours. The
guys got the night off, uh fill in time, so
Torres and I will be doing a lot of fillings
over the next week, week and half. So this is
gonna be a lot of fun. And uh boy, where's
the where's a ball game when you need a ball game?
Nothing going on? Uh no, no sports. And I don't

(04:21):
remember last year. I don't remember last year. If there
you know, there were so many games that got canceled, postponed, delaid, whatever.
I don't remember if we did this sports list, but definitely,
uh you know, it's usually the Hawaii Bowl. No Hawaii Bowl.
Memphis flew all the way out there just to be
told twenty four so hours before the game that it's insane.
It is it is and and listen, you know, and

(04:42):
we don't need to be too negative here on a
Christmas Eve, but this is the biggest story in sports
right now. And there was all kinds of uh you know,
I heard Rob and Andy when I was driving in
talking about the NBA games tomorrow and and so we
could take this show wherever you want. Flawed by the
way that is so flawed thinking by Rob Parker and
and the firm and saying, what's that. I pay good

(05:02):
money for tickets, so um, I deserve to see the
best athletes out there. And when when one guy is
doing load management, I want my money back and stuff
like that. That that's like me saying of Aaron, um
I bought some first class airline tickets to Florida during
the winter, and when I got down there rained, So
now I want my money back from the airlines. It's

(05:23):
like the same thing there. You know. Well, I I
don't think load management is the same. It's one tho
they get sick COVID, you know, load management, pick one
or the other, doesn't really make a difference. Well, I
mean it's I thought it was an interesting topic in
the way they presented it is. I don't think your
analogy works because you know there's a possibility of rain
and you know there's a possibility of injury in basketball.

(05:46):
But as Rob and Andy were talking about last hour,
they did a great show. I was listening here in
studio Uh, this is not an injury. This is either
load management or this is COVID. I know that Lebron
certainly shared some thoughts on on players still having to
sit out, but I I think, you know, you look
at the Christmas Day schedule tomorrow. I mean, there's no
doubt in my mind that there were a lot of

(06:07):
fans that boll I mean, how much were tickets going
for for Brooklyn l A. And we knew that Kyrie
wasn't gonna play all along. He he's gonna be back soon.
But the idea that Katie is not playing, he's been
in protocols forever. Obviously. You know, it's one thing to
have an A D type guy injured, but to Kevin
Durant in protocols. I don't know, Arnie, I'd be pretty
frustrated if I spend all that money as well. Yeah, well,

(06:27):
what happens if you brought season tickets to the Lakers
and after game number one, Lebron gets traded to Cleveland?
What are you gonna ask for your money back? You
don say, well, my favorite player got traded. I I
can't have this, or God forbid, there's a season ending injury.
What are you gonna say I, I can't have this,
I gotta have my money back. It doesn't work that way, Aaron,
I understand what you're saying, but you know, but I

(06:49):
do think I think it's it's understandable for fans to
be frustrated right now because and this has been my thing,
and I've been very outspoken, is I. You know, I
have certain opians on what these leagues should do. I
actually like the NFL making the step of, uh, we're
only testing uh symptomatic players if they've had their vaccine,
because I do think this is different than last year.

(07:11):
One we have the vaccine, and two, more importantly, we
have fans in the stands. And so whether it's these
Bowl games where fans are traveling from all over the country.
Last week, Ohio State had to cancel a basketball game
in Las Vegas where their fans had spent thousands of
dollars on tickets. I do think that's a little different
than it was a year ago, when there's no vaccine,
fans aren't in the stands, all that good stuff. This

(07:32):
is a different deal, and I do think the fans
are getting the short end of the stick. You don't
think the fans are getting the shortened stick on this arright.
I'll tell you what. Let's back up a little bit, backtball.
Merry Christmas to everybody. Thanks for hanging out with us.
If you want to be part of the show. Um,
Aaron underscore Torres, I'm it's thinking genius one. We'll do
that for the next four hours. We got the power hour,
we got the Bonus hour. Bertie Frattle is gonna stop

(07:53):
on by the Sager. I wouldn't give him the night off,
so he's work tonight. Yeah, he was just saying last
less show how much he enjoys working and it's his family,
all these nice things. So you're saying, you're calling to
Segar a liar right off the top here, because he's
that seems very sentimental from from Steve to Seger. I've
I've called them wrris, I've called I believe I've called
the wors. But De Sagre will be here tonight as

(08:15):
we take you into your Christmas. So we'll start with that.
Since you know, and again like uh, like Aaron said,
we don't want to be negative, but COVID is in
the headlines right now. Uh did you see the lebron
meme is that what it is? Um? Where they have
what the three Spider Man's is that? Is that the
one you saw Aaron? Or what? Yes, that is what
I was talking. Don't exploit You could probably explain it

(08:37):
better than I could what was put out. There was
a lot of people ended up agreeing with that. Well, okay,
so I'll be honest, I don't really know what the meme,
you know, like in terms of where it came from.
I'm not a superhero guy. But essentially before the Spider Man,
there is a meme in which, um, you know, there's
more than one person wearing a Spider Man suit pointing

(08:58):
at each other, and everybody's trying to figure out who's
the real Spider Man. But you kind of realize they're
all the same. And so you can kind of use
that for anybody. If somebody was calling, somebody said, Aaron
and Arnie are two idiots. You have the picture of
the two Spider Man staring at each other and one
is Aaron and one is Arnie, and so lebron um
that I was very surprised. I actually did a double
take to make sure it wasn't a fake account. He

(09:18):
put out one a meme in which it's three spider men,
all claiming to be the same. One is titled COVID,
one is titled the flu, and one is titled cold
as in a common cold, essentially saying that they're all
the same. And so I took this, Arnie this way,
And tell me if you took it a different way,
that Lebron is fed up with the COVID protocols, that
Lebron is frustrated that guys are missing games, that Kevin

(09:42):
Durant won't be on the floor tomorrow, and things like that.
I don't know if I mistook it, but that was
the way that I perceived that meme. Yeah, I I
I took it the same way. And it's just like
he brought up kind of what Phil Micholson brought up UM.
Or they're questioning, they're asking questions about, UM, why we're
not treating this like the flu? Why are we still testing? UM?
We should just move on. If you feel sick, you

(10:04):
don't come into work, or you don't come into practice
or whatever it is, Aaron, and and you take care
of yourself just like you would UM any other year
that we've been around. So I gotta tell you, I
don't think I'm I'm too far, uh you know against that.
I kinda believe what Lebron believes in. And it's gonna
get to the point now we're gonna have to decide.

(10:24):
Are we gonna continue testing in the NFL, the NBA
and the other league's NHLs canceled their games till Tuesday now,
or are we going to go ahead and continue do
this and that way We're gonna have more games canceled
and more post poweman's out there. Which way, which way
we're gonna go? Well, I think that the CE change,
if you will, is that it's headed towards a reality

(10:47):
that we are just gonna have to, as Adam Silver
said the other day, learn to live with it. And
I don't know the NFL changed their policy late last week.
I don't know what if the NBA is next. I
don't know if they have any interest. I don't know
if college sports is next. But I'm kind of there
because I just think, look, um, we have the data now,
We have all the information that you need in terms
of UM One. First of all, these leagues are almost

(11:09):
entirely vaccinated. We made this big push to get all
these players vaccinated. And so I bring it up because, um,
the vaccine protects you. We now know that the vaccine
does not eliminate the virus. The virus is not going away.
As Adam Silver said, we have to learn to live
with the virus. And so I think that we are
headed towards a point where we just have to move
on and if you're symptomatic, get tested. If you're symptomatic,

(11:31):
stay home. By the way, I don't know if people
know this in sports. We've been doing that for years.
And I'm not trying to compare the flu and say
one is I'm just telling you I know enough people
in sports that know that if a guy in the
locker room is is sick, they send them home for
the day, They get them out of the building because
they don't want it spreading throughout the locker room. And
so I think we're getting to that point where we're
going to have to because you know, to say, it's
gonna give us all the updates in a minute, But

(11:52):
but you sent this earlier. Nine Atlanta Hawks are out tomorrow.
I think seven Brooklyn Nets are out tomorrow. I don't
believe that we can keep going on like this forever.
And at some point, we just have to draw a
line in the sand. Why do I figure, why do
I think there's gonna be an NBA game cancel tomorrow?
Why do I why do I get that feeling tomorrow?
You know, listen, I'll say this is that the league
has seemed like they are doing everything. I mean, there's

(12:14):
a lot of guys in this league that are are
guys that fans probably had never heard of about two
weeks ago, and so, um, I don't know how many
you have to get until you cancel the game. They're
they're getting on the brink though, because as as you said,
nine Hawks are out for tomorrow's game in New York,
on and on and on, they're trying to play them.
It's basically essentially replacement players at this point. But I

(12:36):
just don't think they can keep going on like this. Yeah,
I'm I'm and by the way, I think we have
a serious problem. Um. First of all, I don't know
what they're gonna do in the NHL with the games
that are missed. I don't know how they're gonna possibly
make up all those games. I don't think they can.
In college basketball, you've see what's going on, especially with
my Arizona Wildcats who had the reschedule game against I
think it was what Washington UM. They moved another game

(12:59):
up with Wash and I don't know if that's the
makeup game they have to reschedule U C, l A
and USC. I don't I don't see how they can
do this in such a short time, especially which March
Maun just coming up. I think we're gonna have to
cancel some games now, you know. Well, and this again
goes back to what we were talking about a minute ago.
I mean, you have um, you know, fans traveling all
over I mean for the n c A tournament, for

(13:19):
conference tournaments in college basketball, you're gonna have fans traveling
all over the country. And you know, I just wonder
how long we could go on like this, where if
I'm a fan right now and we're gonna talk throughout
you know, bowl game attendance has been down. Ohio State
return some tickets for the Rose Bowl, which is basically unprecedented,
And I think the the logical thing to say, oh,
nobody cares about the Rose Bowl anymore. I think it's
that Ohio State fans don't want to spend thousands of

(13:41):
dollars to come out to California on the potential that
the game will be canceled. So I don't know what
the resolution is when it happens, how it happens, if
it's college, if it's NBA, if it's NHL, who's first.
But somebody's got to step up, Like the NFL didn't say, Look,
we can't keep going on like this. We have to
adjust the protocols as we have new information. All Right,
you want to get in real simple, Aaron underscore, Torres,

(14:02):
I'm in stinking genius. One will come back. Fern Us.
An interesting question about what happens if the college football
playoff games can't be played. We'll answer that. We'll get
in the week sixteen of the NFL. We're sitting in
tonight for Jason Smith and his best friend Mike Harman.
All right here on Fox Sports or Radio. Hey, I'm

(14:23):
Doug Gottlieb. The podcast is called All Ball. We usually
talk all basketball all the time, but it's more about
the stories about what made these people love their sport
and all the interesting interactions along the way. We talked
to coaches, we talked to players. We tell you stories.
You download it, you listen to it. I think you
like it. Listen to All Ball with Doug Gottlieb on

(14:46):
the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast, orherever you get
your podcast. Be sure to catch live editions of The
Jason Smith Show with Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm
Eastern seven pm Pacific on Fox Sport It's Radio and
the I Heart Radio Ahip Welcome back every day Fox
Sports Radio. Great Christmas music right here, Alex ti Shirt,

(15:09):
I'm Ariataures. He is already spanning. We're filling in for
Jason Smith Mike harmon Fox Sports Radio. A lot going
on Christmas eve Ce. Jason Smith is driving to New
Mexico for his vccasion. Really, Jason Smith spends a lot
of time in Michigan over the holidays. He's he's the
only guy that flies into cold weather instead of out

(15:31):
of cold weather during the holidays. So he decided to
no Michigan in this year, New Mexico. So it makes
perfect time. I mean, I do hear Santa fe is
lovely this time? He bad? I guess, I don't know, yeah, yeah,
I don't even know. If is that we're breaking bad
is located in New Mexico. I think so, yeah, so
this is Fox Sports Radio aerators Arnie spanierd in for
Jason Smith and Mike Harmon. By the way, we we mentioned, uh,

(15:53):
we know many of you are working traveling here on
Christmas Eve, so tweet us. Let us know what you're doing,
where you're listening, how you're listening at Aaron Underscore Tours,
at Stinking Genius One. Paul Bills Mafia regular listeners said, Yes,
had a nice night with the whole family back at home,
enjoying the little bottle of Johnny Walker I was gifted.
I'm saving some of it for the disaster. Awaiting the

(16:14):
Bills on Sunday. No, don't say that I need the
Bills to win on Sunday. You need the You need
the Bills to win because you bet against the Patriots.
I want the Dolphins to get into the pointoffs. They
need the Bills to win that game. All right, Well, Bills,
Paul Bills Mafia enjoy. We're gonna have plenty of time
to talk about this week. Sixth I saw a tweet
by Michael Wilbon who was taking a train from Washington

(16:36):
d c um we went to New York because he's
working the games, and it was empty the whole train
car was empty other than him. Oh, because he's working
the games tomorrow. So he's taking a train on Christmas Eve,
Christmas Eve? Right, he was on Christmas Eve. Have you
ever flown on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve or

(16:57):
anything like that? I flew the first year I moved
to California. I came back early. Uh, and as a
gift to me, they bought my flights back. My family
bought my flights back, and I think the cheapest one
was to fly on Christmas Day. Yeah. Well, because Chris,
everyone was flying the day before the day after, and
so I flew back. I don't remember if it was crazy,

(17:20):
if it was not crazy. I really can't remember. How
about you ever traveled anything crazy on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day? Uh, Christmas,
Christmas Eve. It was a pretty empty fight that I
got on one of the earlier flights, one of the
first flights after nine eleven out the Vegas And there
was only like about five of us or six of
us on the plane that was right after So that
was like twenty years ago plus. Yeah, they they know

(17:45):
they we were just going to I forget what we
were going for. But um, there was no canceling flights.
Then at that point, if there was only five people,
they you know, you got going. They had to get
the planes back up and moving. So there was only
like five or six of us on that plane. Very good.
This is Fox. It's Radio Amaratorrez. He is Arnie Spanier again.
And for the guys, Jason Smith and Mike Harmon. So
already we're talking college football. Last segment a little bit

(18:07):
of the college football playoff. I saw an interesting story
and I thought of you. Uh, you and I have
been arguing for years about quote unquote meaningless bowl games. Okay, um,
And it is worth noting TV ratings for those meaningless
bowl games are absolutely through the roof. Uh this year
they were up thirty one percent from twenty nights. On

(18:30):
the counter to that, right, did you saw that big
story where the Nielsen ratings are are saying that whoa,
whoa we we may have made a mistake with the
with the at home of viewing numbers out there, There
may have been a mistake with those, but go ahead, well,
I don't know about that. It seems to me. I'll
say this to um. You know, we talk all the
time about the idea of what's what rates well, what doesn't? UM?

(18:52):
And it is worth noting Saturday Night on ABC is
normally a an NBA game. They put on a quote
unquote meaningless bowl game. Uh. Wednesday Night ESPN normally an
NBA game. They put on a meaningless bowl game. And
so very clearly people are watching these games. But I
saw a story and I thought of you, actually, honestly, UM,

(19:13):
Ohio State set to play in the Rose Bowl a
week from tomorrow, January one, and they have a trouble
selling tickets. They actually sent back over a third of
their ticket allotments. So each team is given twenty thousand tickets.
Utah not only sold out of their tickets but added more.

(19:34):
As Steve di Sager told us a minute ago, it
is Utah's first ever trip to the Rose Bowl. Ohio
State sold less than two a little over two thirds
of their entire allotment. Do you equate this to nobody
caring about the Rose Bowl? Do you equate this to
travel during the pandemic? What do you think it is
that Ohio State is not bringing as many fans as
they were a few things with Ohio State one, Obviously

(19:56):
they're disappointed them as they thought they were gonna play
in the fourth team championship. And as I told you,
if you don't make it to the four team championship,
but you're there at the end and you have a
late season loss and everybody's disappointed, it's going to affect
your fans going out to the ball game too. Yes,
there's COVID in the travel stuff going on, and how
many people really want to go ahead and deal with that? Um?
You know, Three, you're coming to California. That could be

(20:18):
a reason also, And four it could be the matchup.
They're like Utah. If they're playing in usc maybe U
c l a something with a little cash on it,
But you're playing Utah. No disrespect for the utes out there,
the noth the nothing cashe So you know, everything put
together or else, stay fans and out of the hell
with it. We're not going to the playoff. Yeah, we

(20:40):
are going to the Rose Bowl. We're playing Utah. Offer
for crying out loud, Utah. Who wants to travel now
with the whole um you know, new virus going around
out there, um and the whole masks. I just think
people said, hell with it. I'm just gonna go ahead
and do something else or or stay at home and
and and just deal with it that way. So and

(21:00):
I think, and I'm glad. Well I'm not glad. It
would have made for a better conversation if you definitively
said one thing. But I do think it is a
confluence of things. And I love college football, and I
fight for these bowl games because I do think people care.
I do think it obviously matters to certain teams. For Utah,
you cannot deny how big it is for their program
for the opportunity to play in a game like this.
But I do think Ohio State listen, it's championship or

(21:22):
bust every year, and we know that they're not competing
for a championship, and so I do think that that
is part of it. But I also know they played
in the Rose Bowl three years ago, which makes my
point though. It tells you that if you don't, if
you don't get the big prize, nobody wants to go
watch you in the playoffs. You know, let me finished.
I mean, I was gonna say, three years ago, Uh,
they played in the Rose Bowl against Washington, sold out

(21:43):
there a lotment And so I think multiple things can
be true. I do think in this particular case, Yes,
I think the fan base is disappointed. I think especially
by the way it's not only that you didn't make
the playoff, you lost to Michigan, and that Michigan. I
mean that's like, uh, you know, up in the face. Yeah,
already always used to use you like to use bad metaphors.

(22:03):
I mean that's like, uh, you lose your wife and
then she's dating, you know, somebody that's handsomer, smarter, and yeah,
your best friend that makes more money, better job, all
that stuff, and so you have that. And I do
think the travel stuff matters. I mean I did talk
to a couple of Hot State fans that we're planning
on coming out. Uh and if if only it's for
the obvious reasons, get away New Year's Day, go to

(22:24):
the parade. The weather is a little bit better here
in California. To Saker said the weather is supposed to
be good here next week, and they just said, look,
you know, and I hate to keep bringing up COVID,
but like, we're not gonna travel where now. We're canceling
bowl games. I mean literally, I'm sure you guys were
on air probably last night when they canceled the Hawaii
Bowl with less than twenty four hours, and so I

(22:44):
think there's a lot of fans sitting there saying, like, look,
I would normally go. I would like to go. In
a perfect world, I would have been even though my
team didn't make the playoff. But I just can't justify
spending a couple of grand to get on a plane
a lot of money. You're right, well, why would you go?
Tell me? Is the matchup been drinking? No? Well, there's
reasons to go, not really other than going to be
in the good weather in California, there's really no reason

(23:06):
to go. This is Fox Sports Radio The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon. The guys are off tonight. Apparently
Jason is driving to New Mexico. To New Mexico. Okay,
I hear sant Santa Fe. What does it? Santa Fe?
Almost said? San Antonio heard. I hear Santa Fe is
lovely this time year? Right? You know I won the
sixth grade geography be okay, unlike you, which you're a

(23:29):
fake trophy husband because you're about a six or seventh
place finish. I actually I got some real trophies back
at the old tour as the state. But we did
mention by the way. It is obviously Christmas Eve. I'm
ariatoris he's Arny Spaniard. Let us know where you are,
where you're checking in from how you're listening. You can
tweet us at Aaron Underscore Tours, at stink Genius One

(23:49):
got a few notes one baseball god with the Yankees logos.
I think the Yankees fan says, Merry Christmas, guys, thanks
for making my night of driving Uber enjoyable. I think
driving tonight mostly talking about me, but that's great. Uh,
good luck with the Uber stuff. I guess there's a
lot of people that would take in Uber tonight, right,
I mean, I can imagine you're probably making good money

(24:09):
now driving everybody around town with Uber. That's that's good
tonight for sure. I would think so as well. Mike
Gibler says, thanks for the entertainment tonight. I'm nursing my
fourth Margarita. This is probably the best show he's ever heard.
Then had to Molly's both savory and sweet. Give given
to me by my co worker. Had a great year
despite everything. Promoted to a management position with great pay,

(24:31):
best year ever. Wow, Mike, congratulations on the management position.
Rugarita is on you. Yeah, margarite is at you. So
what do you guys eat over at the span your
house on Christmas Eve? Christmas Day? I know you, you
know you. You know you're Jewish, So I don't know
if you sell? Do you sell? First of all? Do
you celebrate? To you eat? Do you do anything special?
We don't do anything special. We do like everything else,
ordered Chinese food or whatever. This though, I gotta tell you,

(24:53):
we have problems getting food around here where all the
restaurants are there? You know, we don't have a lot
of help out here. So um, I use you. My
wife is just gonna make something. But if we do,
we'll order Chinese food or or pizza or something like that.
Are there all the restaurants open on Christmas Eve? Like?
What you eat tonight? Did your did your wife cook?
Or did you did you order? What did I eat?

(25:13):
What I eat? Talking? My wife cooked chicken curry and
it was horrible. I hope she's you know. The good
thing is she's out shoveling snow right now, so we
don't have very much taste. It didn't I told her too.
While this is not very much days didn't do it. Wow,
you are such a charmer, so I gotta be honest, right,
I'm not gonna lie to her. I mean, isn't that
kind of what marriage is about? You know, just kind

(25:35):
of stretching the truth a little bit. Hear what I
have a bad show? What she says to me? What
did she say? Give me an example show I ever heard?
How did they put you on air? She keep that guy?
Totally put you on air. I don't understand that. Just
put tours and Plank together. You're bringing both of them down. Yeah,
I think I think I heard that one. Uh So, Yeah,
we're anyone who's listening. We appreciate you guys, Merry Christmas,

(25:56):
all that good stuff. The only person that's not grateful
this year is Arnie for really anything. Um, but let's
get back to it real quick. By the way, you so,
were you on air? So you were in with Mike
class night? Is that accurate? Okay? Were you guys on
air when the Hawaii Bowl officially got canceled? Um? We
were talking about it exactly. Yeah, I don't know the

(26:17):
exact time it came. I was gonna ask, what what
did you make of that? Like, you know, I just
I think everybody kind of knows where I stand. On COVID.
I mean for Memphis to fly out beyond the island
in Hawaii can't play what what what you guys make
of it? What you guys talk about you you're you're
putting it like that, and I've heard you say that before.
But do you do you want me to say, um,

(26:38):
they get their money back, somebody's gonna reimburse them. Is that?
Is that what this is all about? We would you
not be upset if you were the course, that would
be athletic director that spent probably fifty dollars. I don't
know about that, but you know you're flying a hundred
people out to Hawaii from Memphis, not if it will
get strictly the money. Yes, of course I'm gonna be upset.
And if we gave you the money back, are you

(26:58):
still gonna be upset? Of horse you are? Nobody wants
to see a game canceled at the last minute. How
many college basketball games and we see canceled like an
hour before tip off? Aaron, I mean like an hour
And I think with fans in the stands paying money,
that's wrong too. And by the way, I give college
basketball credit because most every major conference change their policy

(27:19):
this week where one they're no longer forfeits. And two,
if you have seven healthy players, you gotta play. If
you've got seven players that haven't test positive, you have
to play. And so I understand football is a violent sport.
I don't know what the minimum number of guys should be.
I do think they'll already come on, now, there's gotta
be a better answer, especially by the way final game
of the season, you're already there, Like, there's gotta be

(27:41):
a better answer, right, I don't know what. Somebody said, Well,
why don't you just go ahead and push it back?
But then now you're adding more cost, more hotel rooms,
more food, stuff like that, and then what happens when
you push you back to three days and the other
team gets covid um. There's no right answer to that.
You you have no choice but to go at either
bringing another team in or canceled the game. Those those

(28:01):
are the only two choices at this point. Yeah, I
just like I said, I think there's gotta be a
better way. And by the way, I know we've criticized
a lot without giving great answers, But like I said,
college basketball said, look, if if you've got seven guys
that are healthy, you're playing, and I think I feel
like at this point you have to ARENI because last
year it was different. There were no fans in the stands.
Everything was by the seat of your pants. You understood

(28:23):
there's but now you have fans traveling from all over
the country for some of these games. I mean, you mentioned, um,
these games getting canceled an hour before tip off. Memphis
and Tennessee, we're supposed to play in basketball last week.
It's a big rivalry. It was a neutral court game.
People were traveling from all over the state. I had
a buddy there who was literally walking from his car,

(28:46):
had already paid for parking, was outside the arena about
to walk in. When there's gotta be a better way.
Don't you think nobody had any clue that they were
going to go and cancel. There's no rumor about that.
All of a suddenly just threw it out there and said, hey,
game canceled or what a rumor started? You know, literally
probably I don't know, twenty minutes before they actually can.
I mean, it wasn't like it wasn't like an all

(29:07):
day you know, the night before, we don't know if
we're gonna be able to get this thing off the ground.
I mean it's not like say, you know, I saw
some Arizona reporters you know a little bit before this
U c l A uh this U c l A
U s C cancelation kind of say the idea of, um,
you know, be on the lookout, we might get some news.
I mean this was I mean, if anything, it was

(29:27):
maybe five minutes and a a half an hour before the
game was officially canceled. So I mean, again, you have
people driving from all over the state for that game,
not not very well, what's the alternative to let them
in play the game? And then somebody gets really sick?
And then what are we gonna say at that point? Right, well,
here's so here's my question. What about these arenas? So
like U c l A uh U s C you

(29:49):
have to have you have to be vaccinated to get
into the arena. So who's at risk? I mean, if
we believe the vaccine is doing his job, like you
know what I'm saying, I understand, I understand, And then
you're you're deciding if we shouldn't test anymore. But now
that we test, that's the reason why we're postponing games. Um,
there's no right answer to this one. It's probably gonna

(30:10):
have to get to that point though, like in the
Lebron meme, We're probably gonna have to go and bypass testing.
Otherwise we're gonna have this for for a long long time,
and I don't think people want to deal with it
that long. This is Fox Sports Radio. I'm Aara Torres.
He is already spanning. You're filling in for Jason and Mike.
Coming up, we get back to the positive stuff already.
I want to know what is on your sports wish

(30:30):
list this Christmas. We'll talk about that next. Aaron Torres
already span your Fox Sports ad. You be sure to
catch live editions of The Jason Smith Show with Mike
Harman weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven pm Pacific. Alright,
good evening everyone, Aaron Torres, Arnie span You're in for
the guys, Jason Smith and his best friend Mike Carmen.

(30:51):
Best time off, my best friend. No, I'm not your
best friend. What you Jesson Smith's best friend? You're you're
I'm Jason Smith's best friends. That what you're saying. Oh gosh,
pay attention to keep up. Who's on first? Who's on first?
Keep up with you. Please, let's get right into a
Week sixteen in the NFL. A matter of fact, Rod
said this, and all I want for Christmas is a

(31:13):
Packers victory. Go pack go um. I don't see how
Cleveland's gonna go ahead and even come close to this game.
I love the Packers. I think they'll dominate. Packer. Browns
are gonna be themselves in big, big trouble they lose
this game. There's seasons done and they're not going to
make the playoffs. They'll drop the seven and eight. I
think it's gonna be too tough there. Packers will hold

(31:34):
on to the number one seed. That's a big game
for them. Also love the Packers in this game. Aaron, Well,
it's a big game for the Packers. But as you said,
the Browns entire season is on the line, and I
know they just lost on Monday night, but they did.
They were missing a million guys. They do have basically
everybody back, and I think they can keep a competitive Listen,
I love the Packers. You know, if I was picking
the team that I think is gonna win it all,

(31:54):
I mean, shocker, it's probably the Packers. But you know,
one point went over the Ravens. We know how that
game ended. Last play the game they week before they're
playing the Bears. Obviously we know that they were down
at halftime to the Bears. Uh, you know, Bears get
off to a hot start in that game week before that.
Like the point I'm trying to make is you start
going through. They lost to the Vikings a few weeks ago.

(32:14):
They're winning games, but they're not blowing everybody out, and
so I think the Browns have so much to play for.
So many guys are coming back. Baker maybe, by the way,
the best thing that could have happened to him was
him being held out with COVID, because now he's got
a few weeks to really get healthy. He's back. He
is a no no I I. That's what I'm saying, though,
is he was so banged up that I just wonder

(32:36):
if having that another week to get healthy is a
good thing for him. And I think we see a
better Baker Mayfield. I don't think he's gonna be elite
by any stretch. I think they keep it competitive, but
I think the Packers went home well certainly can't hurt
him by getting that. Rest of no doubt about that,
So I agree with you there, Um, but yeah, coming
back after all those guys missed out, how much time

(32:56):
you know? Are they gonna be up to game shape?
Are they gonna be able to keep up going on
the road to play Green Bay not a place who
wanted to go into play when coming back from from
a week off. But we'll see what happens in that one.
The other game though, Arizona, big game going up against
the Colts. This is a monster game. Arizona's lost two
games in a row, they've lost three or five. Um,

(33:18):
Murray's had his problems against the Lions. He was missing
games before that. I think they won two or four
or two or three against when Cold McCoy was the quarterback.
That was a horrible loss to the Lions. UM. Right now,
that dropped him in the type for first with the
rems in that division, so real quick, even beyond last week,
obviously we know the situation with DeAndre Hopkins is the

(33:39):
are the Cardinals independent of the fact that they got
smoked by the Lions, or maybe because they got smoked
by the Lions, are they Are they done as like
a Super Bowl championship contender because that game to me
against the Lions, was like, Okay, they're gonna win enough
games again into the playoffs. I they're not gonna get
the one seed. They're not gonna do this. They're not
gonna do that. They have winnable games left on the schedule,
including Seattle to end the season. But I think it's
officially time we just crossed them off the list of

(34:01):
teams that can actually win the games necessary to win
a Super Bowl. Well, I mean, you may be right
on that, But if I was gonna take teams in
the NFC who I thought to comm to the Super
Bowl and I was gonna bet on it, I would
have the Packers, the Cowboys, Tampa, and the Rams ahead
of Arizona before any of that. So it would be
those four teams. That's why it's gonna be so. But
remember they were ten and four team and they played

(34:22):
so well at the beginning of the year. Uh, don't
be surprised that they can turn it back to that situation.
But do you really think back, No, I don't. I
don't think it's healthy enough. You know, Yeah, I don't
think he's healthy enough. And I just think not having
DeAndre Hopkins completely changes everything. I will say, you know,
I was on air when that Colts game went final
last week against New England. It felt like there was

(34:42):
a little too much like the culture dangerous buzz this week, Like,
you know, you get the Patriots at home Saturday night,
big game. You need to win the Patriots. We know
that they're limited offensively. I like the Colts. I don't
know if they win tomorrow. I think they probably do,
just because I don't trust Arizona. But I thought there
was a little too much Colts hype coming out of

(35:05):
that game, considering how a radic Carson went still is,
don't buy into the Colts. They I have There's a
there's a category called strength of victory that means teams
that you've beaten, and the Colts have one of the
lowest strength of victories. They beat a team with the
win percentage. Otherwise they've beaten absolutely nobody. I'm not buying
into the Colts. I know you'll love the running game

(35:27):
with Taylor and and all that, but um, I'm not
falling into that trap. There's a bunch of other teams
I think they can go to the Super Bowl before
I'm I'm I'm taking a look at the Colts. Well,
here are they're wins. Um. They beat obviously Houston twice
and they still they still have Jacksonville once. But they
beat Jacksonville once. Uh, they beat the Dolphins when the
Dolphins are really struggling. They beat the forty Niners when

(35:48):
the forty Niners were really struggling. They beat the Jets,
and then they beat the Patriots, and then they did
beat the Bills. They did beat the Bills a few
weeks ago, but that was it after one big victory. Yes,
and even the Patriots. Like I know the Patriots were
playing well win loss record, but as I said a
minute ago, we know they're limited offensively. We know that
there is a blueprint to beat them, just teams just
generally haven't been able to do it recently. I'm not sold.

(36:10):
I don't feel any better about them coming out of
last week. All Right, let's go to Sunday now, where
the Ravens are gonna be taken on the Bengals. Wow,
both teams are eight and six. Um, if they want
to go ahead and win the division, they've both got
to win this game. Ravens loses, either team loses this game.
Whichever team loses, they might not even make the playoffs

(36:31):
that you go from winning the division and not even
making the playoffs, for crying out loud, and this one,
Lamar Jackson um will not be in this one, right,
Hunley is gonna ahead and get the start. I glove
the Bengals in this one, playing it homeway in four
and a half really quick. Is there any team that like,
I just have no feel for the Bengals at all?
Like at all? You know, you go back six seven weeks.

(36:54):
I mean they lose to the Jets, right, Uh, they
play the Browns the week after the Browns player trade
O'Dell and the Browns are it's a disaster in Cleveland.
What happens? Cleveland destroys them? Then you know, then Cincinnati
comes back. It's a few nice wins, they get smoked
by the charges they get Like, I just have no
feel for them at all. I know you said you
like them tomorrow, I'm are on Sunday. Excuse me, I'm

(37:16):
not sold because I just I feel like they're one
of the more inconsistent teams where it's like every single
time you think they're making the leap, they're making the jump,
they have a weird loss a step back. Then they
have a great win. What about the Ravens. They've lost
three in rrow. I mean, what could you possibly say
about them? Well, I'm not saying I'm not saying that
the Ravens are firing on all cylinders. But what I

(37:37):
am saying is is that you know, you said you
like the Bengals, and I'm just, I just I don't
know what I'm getting from them. Where the Ravens are struggling.
I get that even when Lamar Jackson was healthy, he
wasn't playing great. But we talked about it. Tyler Huntley
looked pretty good. Um, I listen, I would say, would
it surprised me to see them go into Cincinnati and
get this one? I like Cincinnati and this one. Um,

(37:58):
I like what Joe Burrow is doing. And by the way,
uh mixing is probably the most underrated running back in
the NFL. They've got weapons Cincinnati. Uh, don't let that
record fool you there. Uh you say, don't let the
record fool you though. I mean they lost to the Jets,
they got smoked by the Browns. Uh. They lost to
this the forty Niners at home a few weeks ago.
I mean, the it's not like I think the record

(38:20):
is deceiving just from the fact that, again I just
don't know what I'm getting from them on a week
tweek basis. All right, and let's get to one more
before the bottom of the hour of The Rams are
taking on the Vikings. Vikings are saving on to their
playoff lives. They're seven and seven. The Rams are coming
to the ten and four. UM, big game for both.
Rams obviously want to go and win the division. They're
tied with Arizona. Vikings just want to go and make

(38:41):
the playoffs. They lose here, you can forget about the
playoffs for them. Um, they have so many weapons offensively,
but I don't think the clock is gonna be playing
for Minnesota. And this one they're at home, but the
Rams are three at that point. Favorite. I think I
kind of like Minnesota plus the points in this when
they keep their playoff homes alive. Minnesota's other one that
it feels like every time that you have them figured out,

(39:02):
they they kind of go the other way, right Uh,
you know, they're they're finally hitting their stride. Loose the
lines earlier this year, gotta win Sunday Night football backup
quarterback for Dallas. They lose to Dallas, so I will go.
You know, I actually do kind of like the Rams
on the road. Um, I I know, you know, obviously
they just played uh it's a short week for them,

(39:23):
having played Seattle the other day. But I don't know, man,
I just feel like, and this is a four or
five six year narrative, I just do not trust Kirk
Cousins to win the games that he needs to win.
He needs to win them. I'd probably roll roll with
the Rams here. I wouldn't feel great doing it when
they're playing, obviously coming off of a Tuesday night game
in Los Angeles, but I'd probably roll with the Rams.
Here are the Rams back. They beat the Jaguars, they

(39:45):
wanted Arizona. They beat Seattle, but before then they lost
three in a roll against the Titan San Francis Go
in Green Bay. It's a great question. Do you buy
the Cooper Cup MVP narrative by the way, because yeah, definitely, yeah,
Why wouldn't I know? I kind of do too, And
I forget. I don't know if it was uh Jason
and Mike or got somebody was doing. They had some
promo during the break where they're like, you can't I

(40:06):
mean wide receiver can't win, can't win, it can't win
the MVP, And I'm like, why not Robert Woods goes down.
There's an acclamation period with um with O'Dell. You have
a new quarterback, and this guy is just so reliable.
So I would have no problem if it happens. I
don't think it's necessarily gonna happen. Obviously, we'll see if
he can kind of continue on the absurd trajectory that

(40:26):
he is on right now. But I have no problem
with that that. I just thought I think it was actually
Robin Chris and I love those guys. It's no disrespect
to them. I'm not saying, uh, you know, I hate
the opinion, but they were just kind of making the
argument that if a wide receiver wins, that you gotta
look at the quarterback. I think right now the wide
receiver is as much making the quarterback as the other
way around. I would have no problem if he won
the MVP. Aaron Torres, Arnie Spaniard in for the guys

(40:47):
Jason Smith and his best friend Mike Carmen on this, well,
I guess Christmas Eve on the West Coast Christmas out
here on the East Coast are you a uh, must
watch Christmas type movie guy like Heart or Home Alone
or something like that, or you don't really care whatever
comes on. I love Home Alone me. I filled in

(41:07):
on Thanksgiving Day for Doug Gottlie with Bucky Brooks and
we did a holiday movie draft and I drafted Home
Alone number one overall, and people were like upset about it.
They're like, how could you take home? I'm like, is
there a definitive, obvious answer that isn't Home I'm sure
Christmas Story was right up there, also, right Christmas Story,
Christmas Vacation, A couple of movies there. I Home Alone

(41:29):
to classic Kevin McCallister, Come on, Stuck Home it is.
It's it's one of the I'm surprised they gave you
so much grief over something like, oh, they gave me grief.
And then we did a snake draft. The saga were
you in that day? I don't know if the saga
was in. I think he was in getting the day
off to Sager you were in right, No, it was
Ralph Ivan. It was Ralph Ivan. I think it was
Ralph Ivan. But then I came back around and I

(41:50):
at the end of the snake draft I took Home
Alone too. No you didn't know. I didn't. I didn't actually,
and they were like, why didn't you just take Home
Alone too? And I was like, I don't know, because
I got cyber bullied by you guys for taking a
lot the first time. Like Elf to it's a wonderful life.
It's a wonderful life as a class. I think that
was what it was still on the board at number eight,

(42:10):
and so I had to take it to a wonderful life.
But I will say too, by the way, I had two,
he says, I'll say this Home Alone too, like everyone
loves Home Alone so much. Home Alone two is actually
pretty underrated. It's freaking hysterical. I've watched it probably five
times in the last week. So I get your hand
on the dump buttons in case I'm not allowed to
say this, Oh, go ahead, because it could be very
risk a. UM. I didn't like Elf. Yeah, I think

(42:34):
I'm okay to say. I think, oh, no, you have
to dump button. I'm not allowed to say that. You're fired.
We gotta We're gonna let you go. I didn't like Calf.
I'm sorry. If he's an elf, he's a human raised
by Elsie thinks, I just I didn't find it. You know,
I know those people that think it it's like the

(42:54):
funniest movie ever. I'm like, no, no, really, I didn't
like it. I it like a two out of that.
I love Smiling SPI is my favorite. See you know
you're you're the Scrooge. So, by the way, Scrooge is
another great one too. I like listen Elf. I don't
think Elf is better than Home Alone, but it's good.
I mean, come on, he's raised by elves and his
dad doesn't like him and he has to win him over.

(43:15):
I mean, you got you gotta watch it again, give
it another chance. I'll say this really quick. Not a
Christmas movie, but another Will Farell movie. Anchor man, I
didn't think it was funny all the first time I
saw it, Ann, and then I went back a second time.
I was like, this is a great So when your
son comes in tomorrow, fire up Elf. It's a family
friendly movie. There's nothing you know he's gonna be embarrassed about.

(43:35):
Watch Elf. Give it a chance. It's pretty good, all right?
Uh Emmett says, uh hey, Torres on the Cooper Cup
MVP narrative. I don't think it will happen. I think
Cooper is great and deserves it. This sue is the
voters tend to lead more towards the quarterbacks. To me,
though there hasn't been a earth shaking quarterback so um
and he doesn't make a point on that though Aaron
Rodgers Um, Tom Brady. I think it's kind of fallen

(43:56):
out of the whole thing though. Well, and that's you know,
I hate all this stuff with the like the Heisman
Trophy and this and that. It's like who is the
most so to me? And I remember arguing with you
about this in the NBA is like yo Kich had
the best stats last year. I was like, yeah, but
if if it's valuable, Chris Paul is more valuable to
his team than Yokich is there's succeed or whatever and whatever.

(44:18):
And so I bring it up because I do think
you can legitimately make the case. I mean that that
Cooper Cup is not only putting up unbelievable stats, but
that he's the guy that's kind of holding it together.
Is that there there was an injury to Robert Woods,
O'Dell Beckham didn't come right away, and he has been
the one consistent. He is the guy that Matthew Stafford
is clearly most comfortable throwing. And oh, by the way,
when he's running crossing routes and and short, you know

(44:40):
that allows Odell to go deep. And so I don't
know if it will happen, but I do think like
Emmett brings up a pretty good point to which is that, oh,
by the way, none of these quarterbacks are having these
transcendent historical, historical years excuse me, where you have to
give it to one of them, So I would have
no problem if he got it. You want to get
in Aaron Underscore tours. I'm instinking this one to me,

(45:01):
the biggest game of the week, it happens to be
the Bills and the Patriots. Being a Dolphin fan, I
need the Bills to win in the worst way. Patriots.
If they lose this game, there's a chance they might
not even make the playoffs. They win the game, um,
they're gonna win the division. So it's feast or famine
for this team. Are there? Unbelievable? The Bills got beat
the first Remember when the Patriots ran every play only

(45:23):
threw it three times. They're not gonna get away with that.
This time around, they're playing at home. I'll take the Bills,
but this is a big time coin flip. I think
the Bills are gonna win because I think they're the
better team. But wouldn't it pass to me if the
Patriots won the game. I just don't I know the Bills,
you know, one last week and I know they rallied
the week before, forced overtime against Tampa. I just don't

(45:46):
buy them. I really don't buy them. And it maybe
it's my preseason bias where I said, I understand why
you have to pay Josh Allen, but last year was
not only a career year, but from a from what
he does, it was the outlier year. But I have
is you know, there's certain teams aren'ty that we keep
waiting for them to flip a switch and turn it
on and be what we thought they were gonna be
in the preseason. And the Bills haven't done that right.

(46:07):
And there's there's other teams that have. I mean, the
Chiefs have the Titans with their receivers back last week,
the last night looked good. I just haven't seen it
consistently enough from the Bills that I believe that they're
magically gonna flip a switch, go, you know, play the
Patriots in Foxburg and get this winm I just you
can criticize the Patriots for a lot the limitations of

(46:28):
mac Jones, but they are consistent weekend and week out,
and I think they win this game. If the Bills
lose this game, there right now, they're holding on to
the last spot, the number seven spot. They lose this game,
they'll drop deep in with Baltimore and Pittsburgh and the
Raiders and the Dolphins and Cleveland and Denver. They might
not make the playoffs when it's all said and done.

(46:49):
If they lose this game. It's a must win kind
of for them in this one. There's no doubt it's
a must win. Um. I just I don't know. There's
something about them that I just don't trust. And look,
I think they're flawed to obviously, we know about the
run game, all that stuff, the lack of a run
game for for lack of a better term. And I
also just think, look, like I said, Josh Allen, he's
he's incredibly talented, but when he signed that contract, I said, look, man,

(47:09):
you know this is a guy that that every year
his completion you know, his his accuracy was a concern
coming in, uh, coming into last year, really had never
you know, been super accurate. All of a sudden, he's
completing almost seventy of his past I said, look, I
don't blame you. I understand you gotta pay guys when
they do what he does. But you're playing for the
outlier year and that's exactly what happened, is he's regressed.

(47:31):
He's starting to look like the guy from the first
two years and the guy that we were concerned about
coming in out of Whalming. If Belichick wins this game,
that he might have to get uh, not only votes
for Clachu of the Year, he may win Culature of
the Year when it's all said and done. Can you
imagine winning this division after starting where they one in
three without Tom Brady little of indication after what Brady
did last year? You know, oh, I think there's no doubt.

(47:53):
And who would even be I'm trying to think, you know,
I don't think it'd be Mike McCarthy. I don't think
it be anybody else. I mean, maybe Cliff Kingsbury, but
they're falling off. So yeah, if they win this game
and they win the division. I don't. I don't. I don't.
Only think Bill Belichick could win, and I think he
probably should. That's absolutely amazing. Um mac Jones has done

(48:13):
exactly what they've asked for him. I think he's a
real good quarterback. But he has now to do a
whole heck of a lot, you know what I mean.
They they have not opened up the whole playbook to him,
that's for sure, not how to do a lot. He
didn't have to throw the ball at all the last
time they played Buffalo so three times? What was it
three times? On it was? It was one time going
in the fourth quarter and then I think twice in
the fourth quarter really quick? Do you think that's uh not?

(48:37):
Do you think they found something in that game that
they just felt like they could exploit? And if so,
that what they obviously did. But do you believe that
they can go to a similar game plan tomorrow? Not
saying you you you run the ball all but three plays,
but do you think it's gonna be you know, fift
run versus pass. It could be. I mean, just based
on the weather that we're getting up here in Vermont,

(48:59):
we're supposed to get three for instance of snow in
the next forty eight hours. I don't know what it's
gonna get down there in Boston, but usually it's on
studdy and you know, great weather because it's only three
hours south of us. So if the weather is gonna
be bad and it's gonna be a wintery mix, they
may do the same game plan. If the Bills couldn't
stop him before, they might not be able to stop
him again. I wouldn't be curious to how this plays

(49:19):
out there, and they might do the same thing close
to again. No, I'm not gonna say just running the
ball every time but three times, but they might come
close to that though. Yeah, I wonder if they saw
something where they just thought they were more physical. I mean,
I know that night there was forty wins and all
that stuff, but I wonder if they feel like we're
just the tougher, more physical team. They got a little
to finesse, you know, going to the an f C

(49:40):
Championship game last year. They're trying to build a team
to beat k c Uh. They're not as physical as
they once were. They're not as tough in the trenches.
I'll be curious to see as well that game plan
on Sunday afternoon. He's Aeron Torres. You get in an
air and underscore tour as I'm stink at stinking Genius one.
