(00:24):
listening to Fox Sports Radio. Hello and welcome inside final
hour this week of The Jason Smith Show with my
big friend Mike Harmon. Lull from Radio Row, home of
Super Bowl fifty six. Here in downtown Los Angeles. We
got some big NFL coming your way. We're gonna head

(00:46):
to Vegas in a few minutes, talking about all the
big crazy ass prop beds going to a lot of them.
But United States Canada in hockey at the Olympics. USA
has just scored to go up four two over Canada
in the third period. Mark Johnson with the goal, the
assist to Mike Erusione and the United States now leads

(01:09):
Canada for to Midway through the third period, Mark Johnson
was my guy. I mean, that's what I knew. I
was different as a sports fan, Like in Miracle on Ice,
which was still the biggest purely sports story of my lifetime.
And everybody had their favorites, and everybody loved Erusione and
everybody loved Jim Craig, right, But like Johnson was my guy,

(01:32):
like he he you know, he scored, he set up plays,
like like, Mark Johnson was my guy. I'm like, how
is Mark Johnson not everybody's favorite player? They're like Mark Johnson, Like, yes,
Mark Johnson, like he was, he was my guy. Yeah,
I'm gonna be real honest with you. I was seven, Yeah,
I know, yeah, you know yeah, and you grew up
in Chicago. You you were you were full of hate.

(01:52):
Even back then it was okay, I mean you're probably
you're probably rooting for Russia that well, you know what.
I have always liked the Heel, the Road Warriors. I mean,
there were faces for a while, but for the most
part of me, they were they were like Breaking Badge
before Breaking bad We're supposed to hate these guys, nah,
but they're awesome. They just kick as the best. Why
not pay Chicago and we like to hurt people, you

(02:15):
know that kind of thing. Uh. And then obviously Rick
Flair and all the way through the n w oh,
I mean for bad guy theater. You know we're taking
your calls right now. Why did the greatest goalie in history,
Vladislav Tretch she had get pulled after the first period
and it's one of the worst mistakes you could ever have.
Did they turn out to be the black Hawks? He

(02:36):
was all of those guys. No, that was the goaltending
tree man, because as soon as the guy came up
for contracts, the black Hawks said, instead of the Indy reach,
we have had the Vladisla know, but legitimately that was it.
It wasn't play well, We've got another guy in the pipeline.
This guy needs to get paid. What Uh So, United

(02:57):
States leads Canada four two. Will have more on this
coming up throughout the hour. I'm sure Steve Disaga will
have about a thousand different stats on this game after
it is over. But before we get to something that
needs to change, the Super Bowl. Look, this week has
really been all about Matthew Stafford and the you know,
trending today for a while on Twitter was the uh
the Detroit Rams merchandise that was being sold. Look it

(03:22):
it's and and here's the thing, and I can take
you inside this and and and tell you just what
life is really like in Detroit right now. For the
Lions and Lions fans, it's like the Lions are in
the super Bowl because Stafford is there, because he was
there for so long, and all Lions fans know our

(03:42):
team stinks. If you can get out, get out right,
it's okay. And they're all so happy his My my
wife's family still text me with like, how's Matthew Stafford doing?
And I mean, and it feels like like Matthew Stafford
was a member of my wife's family and he graduated
college and he moved to the West Coast and they're like, well,
I don't know how he's doing because he's got an

(04:03):
important job. He doesn't have a lot of time. But
I'll text Jason because I'm sure Jason is checking in
with him, because you know, they're both living in Los
Angeles now, So I'll check in with Jason and see
like I'm oh, hey, yeah, Matthews great. I talked to
him the other day. Everything is good. I mean, that's
what That's how people in Detroit feel about Matthew Stafford.
It's the closest they'll ever get to the super Bowl
and they're living vicariously through him, and the two cities

(04:26):
that will have the biggest party on Sunday. If the
Rams win is gonna be in Los Angeles and it's
gonna be in Detroit, those were the two places where
they party the most because it's just like they one.
They can squint their eyes on TV and see the
blue uniform and go who it kind of looks a
little Honolulu blue. When I see the Matthew Stafford headshot,
he's only wearing the blue. I can think that it's

(04:47):
it's in the super Bowl and it's the Detroit Lions.
I mean, that's That's exactly what it is. That's how
much everybody is rooting for Stafford, the Lions, Detroit everything,
it's it's it's insane. Well, I think is also a
part of it to validate the feelings that they've had,
you know, you know it to be true, the idea

(05:07):
that it is the organization and not that Stafford for
all those years held them back, right because we talked
about it narratives and and reality. And that isn't to
say that he was perfect and that he elevated them
to where it overcame a lot of their problems. Obviously
it didn't, but if he wins, it can be See

(05:32):
we can do this. They were able to do it.
We gotta figure this out, right. We've got to change
our way of doing business once and for all, because
it's easy to blame one guy or a coach or whatever,
but organizationally, you recognize see the formula they just used.
Even if we're not gonna spend money like that, we
need to adopt that kind of model at least to

(05:52):
where we're going for proven veterans. We're bringing in assets
that can help us right away. Because I talking about
all the time, I don't care about your draft picks, man,
I really don't take them. Take them all. Give me
a guy that can come in and contribute, especially if
it's at a skill position or if I need help
on the interior, and I got a guy that's gonna
give me, you know, as many snaps as I need

(06:14):
to grind a ground game or keep my quarterback up
right right, or like the the Rams did. I mean, look,
they've figured out salary cat manipulation better than anybody. This
is where you find best practices, right. Every every year
they find a way to bring people in with a
lot of money, but we not wind up screwing. But
also we've talked about this. Now they're set up for

(06:34):
for a good pace because all those bad contracts i e.
The lingering contracts go away. The girly and what they
had on there for golf and whatever else that's gone right,
So you look at that, but we talked about emulating
best practices. Rams have a new innovation to all of this.
And then you go back to historically the Steelers, the Patriots,

(06:56):
the forty Niners, the Packers, even though everybody you know
bags on the Packers, like let Aaron wear a little
of that, just like Matthew Stafford has all these years,
right Baltimore, you know, I mean, we got the five
or six teams that we always put up as the
paradigm of how you should do things, and now the
Rams have added the salary cap part of it to it.

(07:17):
Draft picks are great, but if you have a team
that's ready to at least contend, now you gotta push
because you don't know if you're getting back, right. That's
the whole thing with these Bengals. Every time I hear
the house money thing, it just infuriates me because like, no,
they're playing to win now because they made every Still,
any team that's a big underdog is like, okay, the
house money means the pressure is off, Like it's not
walking into a game with pressure to win the pressure no,

(07:41):
but the pressure to win is there because you don't
know if you're getting back, because you're going back to
the Seattle when you're supposed to win, when you're the
team that's supposed to win, it's a it's a much
bigger deal. Well, but if it, if they were really
that much more dominant, spread wouldn't be where we're at. Well,
it's because people still one thing Matthew Stafford can win. Now,
that's Matthew staff He's gonna, he's gonna, he's gonna. It's

(08:03):
gonna be a mess. Let me ask you this, Matthew
Stafford's gonna turn back into Matthew Stafford. WHOA. That's a
matrix kind of thing. How do you think Jared Goff
feels this week? He just watched his team that couldn't
get past anywhere last year because they didn't score enough points,
quarterback position was bad. He gets his new lease on
life in Detroit. Play poor for the first eleven or

(08:25):
twelve weeks better when Dan Campbell took a bigger role
in the offense. But still here on all you have
to see is the guy who took your place has
got them in the super Bowl, and and and the
one thing that's changed from last week. You can say
that there's turnover and each team, and there is from
year to year there but the one big changes you
were out and somebody else is in. And that's all

(08:47):
the talk is. This is his super Bowl and him winning,
and it's all about him. How do you think this
week is for It's an awful week. This is where
I would be away on an island and and I
won't have a phone. I'm I'd be away with my girlfriend.
Maybe she's gonna be some sports Illustrated shoot or something.
I'm not I don't have my phone with me. Don't

(09:07):
try to get into I'm not gonna watch the game.
I'm not gonna watch anything. I'll figure it out when
I get back. Yeah, I think this goes back to
the same kind of um analysis of what you did
as a squad, how you ran the offense to where
you trusted the same way because in Detroit, remember that
opening presser right, talking to Barry Sanders about that yesterday,

(09:32):
and he goes, at that moment, we were talking talking
to each other, going, wait a minute, what we liked
it because we former player and the staff he was
putting together, like we're intrigued. But some of the stuff
coming out of his mouth like wow, now you really
set the bar and you have to back it up
and it takes time to build that right. And we
saw at least from the Lions this year. While it
didn't translate to winds and stellar play from Jared Goff

(09:55):
as a squad, it was reminiscent of what we saw
from the And I hate to bring in Brian Flores,
but we throw him in to what the the Dolphins
did because I mean, obviously with Flores, we we have
so much else that's been alleged. But in his first year,
while they didn't win games, they played hard, right, and
then they faded in the fourth They didn't have enough

(10:15):
to get over with the Lions. It was a bit
of that for Jared Goff. I think there's two things
could be true. Right, he was still a top pick,
still got to his Super Bowl, and he could be
okay with them winning as long as Matthew Stafford doesn't
go for four hundred and four. Right, If it's Matthew
Stafford leads Rams to dominant win, throwing the ball all

(10:39):
over the damn yard, then we got out of thing. Also,
don't forget Cooper Cup was hurt. Not that, not that
he's not a different Cooper Cup, but dement. But I'm
not making but it's personnel that you have at your
disposal and and all of those things. And again, going
back to that Super Bowl where McVeigh got panted by

(11:02):
Bill Belichick more than the last year or so, right,
I'm going back to that was the real end that
that was where Jared Goff turned into a different quarterback,
and that was where it was different. And the final
straw was the Jets game. Last year the Jets hadn't
won a game and he was awful, and it was
after this year we got a new quarter But I
tell you it was I just remember watching that Super
Bowl and the image if I was any good at

(11:24):
the photoshop and certain guys into video would have been
Rick Flair. Uh, we're taking Sean McVeigh. He's on the
mat because he used to yell no, we go to school.
And then he put the guy in the figure for
a leg lock and tap them out. That's kind of
what Belichick did to Sean McVeigh, and I like you.
The premise here was that it's all Stafford. The other

(11:46):
for me is as a lot of Sean McVeigh. Right,
he loses this game, and they lose badly. Blooms off
the rose. Right, that's two games. One you got out, coach,
and here you've got. As you said, this is your
expect time at anything else and all of that should be.
Nobody knows who the hell is Zach Taylor. That's Zach
Taylor could walk around this media center right here by himself.

(12:08):
Nobody knows who the hell was I was debating buying
him a huge lot of Zach Taylor rookie cards. He
was just pictured with Tampa and the tops chrome and
all that stuff and just handing them out and people going,
who's that? Wasn't that Mark Paul Goslar's name and saved
by the bell. Wasn't he Zach Taylor? But I know
he was Zach. Mark. Don't think making a one liner

(12:29):
jokes later? Okay, I know what was the other guy? What? No?
What was no? No? No, no, no, no, no, screech
the teammates Bell Later's that was always set up to
be the dumb guy, right, the big jock I've given
you know, everybody saved by the bell the college. He'sa turtle.

(12:51):
I mean what I'm talking about? That guy? He didn't
we didn't know his name. Day was Robert Paul asked
me the most for the most cure person that say
you would have a character name. Why did you wanted
to remind you was Zach Morris and not Zach Taylor.
I'm sorry, I just wanted you to remind you that
was you know what, you may have screwed that. I
want to say, how do I how do I know

(13:12):
in the moment you hadn't conflated it instead of I
don't do those things? You know the next thing you don't?
You don't do those? Aren't Zack and Taylor? And this
is I don't know? Aren't Zack and Taylor? Two of
the names of the Hanson brothers from the group Hanson
are two of them Zack and Taylor. I'm pretty sure
they are. I'm pretty sure the singer and the drummer

(13:34):
are Zach and Taylor. Let's say Taylor is the singer
the guitars Isaac and Joshua. No, it's Taylor, Zach Isaac,
and then Joshua is a whole other. I thought there
were three. That's there were three of them. No, well
that's the thing. I'm just going through the list of hands. Okay,
So I was right, right, Zack and Taylor were two
of the three handsome brothers. Maybe his middle name is

(13:54):
the other middle name of the hand, the other handsOn
brother is his name Isaac. Maybe his name is Zack
Isaac can't. Wow, that would be pretty Zack Isaac Taylor. Wow?
How about that? I mean, Hanson was like Bob why not? Right? Hey,
Hanson's Poppy's seven. I could do that. That's crazy, dude,

(14:18):
Yeah yeah, Wait, hold on if I'm not mistaken. Zack
Taylor was an undrafted free agent signed by Tampa in
two thousand seven. Hansen, Um, you got them? Told so Oklahoma?
Isaac Taylor and Zach supporting members. These two guys, they've
toured and performed live with the band since two thousand seven.

(14:40):
Uh interesting, interesting, And like James guys joined the band
and that's like to touring act since two thousand seven,
and Jason Hansen's in the band as well. Right, he
kicks field goals at the end, he kicks fifty yard fields. Hey,
we got another song for your fur on Corp. But
we've already done the three songs, you know. So here's

(15:02):
Jason Hanson with a field goal he missed, dude, Yeah yeah.

coach Zach Taylor when he first became famous. Then a

(17:10):
short twenty two years later he's in the Super Bowl.
Kind of a big deal. Did you look up as
Zach Taylor has been the name Isaac. That would be
pretty cool, Zack Taylor. I don't know why I have
such a soft spot for Hanson. I just love this
song get Ready. I don't it doesn't show that he
has in middle name that really he's that Taylor nor

(17:30):
middle name. Well, maybe it is that he does not
say anything is people are gonna think, you know, hands
to figure it out. How about that, Zack and Taylor. Oh,
we'll just get to the good part. How come you
don't started with the robop? I mean, why don't you
start with that tight show? You were singing the whole break.
I know I was going legit. I'm trying to find
out I did the middle name, and it just says Zachary,

(17:51):
Zack Taylor. Zach Taylor joining us now the hot Line
national host. Here Fox Sport Radio. There we go. Oh
now we're not gonna have our guests, just gonna listen
to this for the next three minutes. Do yeah, yeah, Bob, Bob,
Bob do. I'm the Bengals coach. Sack Taylor National show

(18:15):
Saturday night. You're gonna hear him tomorrow night, eleven to
three am Pacific time. Longtime Vegas insider, former Lions pre
and post game host friend of the show, Bernie Fratto.
You can follow him on Twitter at Bernie Fratto. Bernie,
what's happening man? Gentlemen? Happy super Bowl weekend? And by
the way, Jason I talked to Mr Belding earlier, I

(18:37):
believe the character was Zack Morris. It was what I
knew it was. That did Zach Taylor think it was
a joke. It was a one liner. And you know, oh,
by the way, he just beat your smart guy, Bernie Fratto.
I actually know Dennis Haskins. His phone number is in
my phone. Okay, he's like the most famous person that
I know. He's like the most famous person I know.

(18:57):
I you know, like you say, is the minute you
channel you're inner lou Bega earlier you hello, so you win?
You're up too to one. I'll tell you one day,
I will tell the best Dennis Haskin story in the world.
I am really said, that's got an unbelievable punch line.
I really said that the guy I was looking for
his name actually was Moose. I was trying to acquaint it.

(19:20):
You know, Archie jug headed Moose, and well, the whole
of the dude's name on the show was actually Moose. Suck.
You know. Actually, I'll tell you this. I I don't
want to tease it to the story that I'm i
telling TEP, But the Dennis Haskin story involves Tony Romo.
Oh good, back when Tony was playing for the Cowboys. Better?
Is that all right? Bernie? So tell me here, man,
you know you got your big show tomorrow night. Everything
going on in Vegas right now, the crazy prop bets

(19:42):
are out. Give me a couple of prop bets you
really like for the Super Bowl. Well, the one, the
one I like the most is the first half under
of twenty four. It's down to twenty three and a half.
I think the game will start slow and there'll be
a lot of you know, heavyweight manipulating. But there are
a couple of the ones I personally got on. I'm
typically not a big prop guy. When you're betting props,

(20:02):
you're essentially predicting the future, and you're a fortune teller.
I like to manage risk, but I like more than three,
you know, over three and a half field goals total.
I think you have a situation where obviously Evan McPherson
has great range, the game is indoors. I don't think
either teams are gonna have a big enough lead to
where a field goal wouldn't be attractive, and I think

(20:23):
there'll be some conservativism. I can tell you the pros
are all over Cooper Cup over a hundred and five
and a half receiving yards up two hundred and seven
and a half now Tee Higgins over sixty eight and
a half receiving hearts, cam Akers under sixteen and a
half carries and under sixty five and a half rushing yards.
One of the most popular bets among the pros, although

(20:45):
the value has diminished in the last few years. Will
there be a score in the first five minutes? The
no is minus one sixty. There hasn't been a score
in the first five and a half minutes of the
game in the last seven years and nine of the
last well Super Bowls, there hasn't been a score in
the first five and a half minutes. And then you
got the goofball props like like, which would be the

(21:09):
greater number the number of yards gained on Joe Mixon's
first carry, or the number of games perdue wins in
the n c A tournament. That's actually a prop. However,
that's a long play prop to half. I mean, that's
that's right. I gotta work for a while for that one.
All right, he gets more than six yards. You gotta

(21:30):
winner there, You just gotta hang on. Is just, you know,
kind of playing off one of your earlier talking points
in the show. The most popular bet prop by far
at Caesar's and there's almost a thousand of them to bet.
Odell Beckham just scored the first touchdown. You get him
in seven and one. How about that? I told you
I like O'Dell to be the Super Bowl m v P.

(21:51):
He's my guy. That's that's my pick. I'm feeling good
about to that point with his m v P talk.
Has there ever been more money spent betting on a
kicker to win Super Bowl m v P than McPherson
this year? No, not even close. And you still get
really good odds with McPherson, although I just can't see
myself pulling the trigger on that because it just isn't

(22:14):
gonna come to pass. I mean, has you ever been
as much money cumulatively on kickers to win? Joe Burrow
could take over in the final two minutes of the game,
get sacked and lose ten yards McPherson could kick a
sixty eight yard or and Burrow would still win the
m v P. It's it's look, the truth of the
matter is it's primarily a quarterback award. But think about

(22:35):
what you're talking about, Jason, because there have actually been
seven wide receivers to have won the m v P
in the Super Bowl, most recently Julian Edelman. You get
a real good number with Odell Beckham at one. Interestingly enough,
the singular most the most amount of money bet on
any single player prop to win the m v P

(22:59):
is Aaron don with sixteen to one. There's more money
that's coming on him of any of the individual players
on the list. Wow, alright, well what about one more
prop before we get to the game itself? Uh? Number
of I see this one number of touchdowns in the game,
or number of times you did Allion's postgame show after
a win. But I did it for ten years. I

(23:19):
actually covered some so this is close. Then they let's
see I started, and well here's the deal. I mean,
my first year was Barry Sanders, last year, my last
year was Rod Marinelli going oh in sixteen, So I
saw a little bit of everything. But in that stretch there.
They didn't make the playoffs three times. So alright, so

(23:39):
you know I had a good one line of there
and you went and ruined it with facts. Great, can
we can we rewind it? And rewind? Alright ahead? Alright? Uh?
Number of touchdowns in the game or number of times
Jim Harball will say, I'm staying at Michigan on the
next year. What's what's greater? Will go? I think we'll

(24:00):
go a number of times. Jim Harba says of Stigum,
you're gonna run that line as long as he can. Bernie,
all right, so you said you're on the under. Do
you expect it to open up after the chess matches? Uh?
Review did halftime? So we start getting in jeopardy of
that forty eight and a half, I think. So there's
there's a lot of offensive firepower, and once they start

(24:23):
trading scores and they get the kinks out in the
nervousness and and there you know, they're human beings. I
think you can see this very much open up. What's
interesting is the pros typically wait until Friday or Saturday
to start firing on the under. The game opened up
at forty nine and a half and it's down down
to forty seven and a half. That's all public money
betting the under so we're not surprised me if it's

(24:45):
snuck on, snuck over the top of the over Alright,
So here you go. Here, here's your chance. Mike and
I are gonna give our picks. Coming up in a
few minutes. Who do you like, Bernie, who's got the
Lombardi Trophy on Sunday? Well, I grabbed the points uh
at four and a half, and it's coming back the
other way. It's not four. It wouldn't be surprised you
forgot two three and a half. Uh. Gun to my head.

(25:06):
I like Cincinnati to twenty four, but I'm going to
it's a coin flip game. I eat your team wins
this game. There are a couple of very strong trends
that favored the Bengals. One, the team that enters the
game with the lower winning percentage is fourteen and one
against the number, but they're also eleven and four straight up.
And the team who's you know again entered who came

(25:29):
out of a conference championship game as an underdog of
three points or more. They've won eleven of the last
fourteen Super Bowls. So you really can't go to sleep
on Cincinnati. You know, last year, at one point, Tampa
Bay was seven and five. This year, at one point,
the Bengals were seven and six, so they deserve to
be here. I think it's a coin flip game. Quite honestly,
I don't mean to equivocate so much. I think it's

(25:50):
a coin flip game. Hey, Bernie, how about the fact
that they both that the Bengals lost to both the
Jets and the Bears. What does that mean? Yes, that's
a great that that's a great question. And the Bears
week one at so far, Week two they played the Bengals. No,
that's very true. But after Week thirteen the Bengals got
it together. They went into Tennessee, and when they beat

(26:12):
Kansas City twice in a month, they went into Baltimore
and one when Baltimore was still good. And Za Taylor
is a very interesting individual that I'm really starting to
pay serious attention to somehow, the adjustments he made against
Kansas City and both games he held Patrick Mahomes in
the Chiefs in that offense both games in the second
half to six points in each game. So I think

(26:32):
we're gonna see a fabulous chess match. All right, let
me just say this party to give you something to
think about and tremble as as you get ready for
your show tomorrow night. Bengals go from two wins to
four wins to the super Bowl. The New York Jets
have gone from two wins to four wins. Next year
super Bowl. Just watch we beat the Bengals this year.

(26:54):
Just get ready that math works to four super Bowl
to four super Bowl. You're a numerologist, that's right, exactly. Well,
I will tell you stranger things have happened. I can't
name any at the moment. Well played by Fred will play.
He's on Twitter at Bernie Fratto, that is, at Bernie
Fratto tomorrow night, eleven to three am Pacific time. You

(27:15):
got Vegas guests lined up everything and in the words
of Bernie, all relevant stories circling the sports universe and
the Super Bowl. Bernie, thanks so much for stopping bioles,
my friend. We'll talk to you soon. Thanks for having me.
Guys appreciate it. Burnie had great stuff there with Bernie
Freddock Tradio. Thing has happened. I can't remember any of them,
but sure it's apt At the moment I got nothing.

(27:36):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart
Radio app Fox Sports Radio. The Jason Smith Show with
My best friend Mike Harmon. No, we are live from
Radio Row here super Bowl fifty six getting set for

(27:57):
the game on Sunday. It is now all Rams Bengals preview,
pesky NBA trade deadline in the rear view. Man, we've
got plenty of time for all that crazy. Well, they're
still chaos to come firings. We're still on vocal watch.
Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. Um um. Time

(28:19):
now for Mike and I to give you our predictions
for the Super Bowl on Sunday. How will it go?
I'd love to be able to Cleaveland. You know, I
almost got the whole Super Bowl thing right because I
said Rams and I said the a f C North
Champion Brounds. So I was closed. I was the same

(28:39):
state and in the same letter. I mean, you can't
get any closing. So yeah, I mean, for a guy
that vacations in Detroit talking up all things Ohio doesn't
do your whole hell. You know, hey, you did what
you did that t J like Drew Carey saying Cleveland
rocks unless they don't. Well, can we also say, though,
with with Cincinnati, you know, predicted by many as a

(29:01):
doormat hundred fifty one odds. You've seen all of that,
we did months ago, watching Joe Burrow play on this show.
Just start talking about this is gonna be a kid, right.
You saw it a little bit last year, but then
the injury, and then this year early on, they're just
some place and even with the offensive line, look at
what he did, look at what they were able to do,
and everything coalesced. You've got a great trio of receivers

(29:24):
and here we are, and yes, you still have to
celebrate Ohio at least for another forty eight hours. I
would love to be able to pick the Jets to
win this game, but they're not in it, so I can't.
I'd love to be able to pick the Bengals, but
I can't. You know, the this game, I think we
are talking about the wrong people when it comes to

(29:45):
Matthew Stafford, Joe Burrow. Yes, they're gonna be the beneficiaries
at least one of them is about how things go
on Sunday. But this game is gonna be won by
two things, by the Rams offensive line and the Rams
defensive line. They have such a clear advantage at both
of those positions. This is what's gonna win the game

(30:06):
for the Rams. Offensively, l A is gonna be able
to do kind of what they need to. They'll score
a lot of points. Maybe they'll have a little bit
of difficulty running the football. I don't think they're gonna
have a big day running, but they'll be able to
make some big plays. Get the football down the field,
and as long as Matthew Stafford doesn't try to jam
it to Odell Beckham fifty yards downfield every time, they'll

(30:28):
do fine. But more importantly, the Rams defensive line is
enough to give Joe Burrow problems all day. Just like
we watched the Super Bowl last year, the buccaneer is
able to get pressure on Patrick Mahomes without having to
bring blitzers, and we watch Myhomes run sideline to sideline.
There's nothing you can do because as as good as
Tyreek killing Travis Kelsey are, when you can get pressure

(30:48):
with your d line and not have to bring blitzers.
There's not a lot of places to go with the football.
I see that happening a lot on Sunday. The Rams
defensive line will control the game. Give me the Ram
thirty one seventeen. They are your Super Bowl champions. I also,
I'm on the Rams. I think you can see it
a little bit differently. Talk with Bernie Fratto with that
first half under and yeah, feeling out process right, that

(31:11):
first round of a fight, as we allude to. But
the offensive line for the Bengals has heard it for
two weeks and so I think they give a pretty
good effort. Not that they're gonna be unscathed right there.
They're just too porous to not have Donald or Miller
or one of the other heroes on defense make a play.
I've got a thirty seven thirty Rams victory, and it

(31:35):
opens up what I'm curious to see from the Bengal side. Wheright,
we saw how well the three man front worked right
and how coverage frustrated. I don't know that you can
do with the Rams right now that you have Henderson
back with Acres, with Sony Michelle, that they'll commit to
the run. And that's what Sean McVeigh has gotta be

(31:55):
he's got to commit to still staying with that otherwise
and not get too cute early because that's where Africa
get in trouble. True, But I I the thing is
about Sean McVeigh is I feel a lot better about
him in his second Super Bowl. It's the same kind
of staff forever. We talked to Glazer about that multiple
times and how how that is haunted him. Yeah. Well, look,

(32:16):
he got out coached, he got made to look like
a fool. When they were trying to crown him. He
didn't try and you want to crown him, crowned, but
he didn't try anything different. It was We're gonna keep
trying to throw the football down the field. Nothing was new.
Jared Goff was awful. And I would like to see
Sean Mannion in the game at some point. Yeah, I
remember that wasn't gonna happen. Yeah, you were a man
Mannix man, Yeah, Sewan Manny and you were going back

(32:40):
to that, not that this is Hey, Zach Taylor is
gonna walk around Sunday like he's Barney five. I don't
know what to do it, but I like the experience
of the Rams being in this game for the second time,
some of the same players, but especially for Sean McVeigh.
I like that advantage. That's why another reason why I
like the rams they had it. I think that what
a wonderful week. I mean, we we got to see
each other every day doing the show. Uh met up

(33:02):
with a lot of our friends, former colleagues, and Fox
