Smith Show with Mike Harmon on Fox Sports Radio. Hello,
and welcome inside our two of The Jason Smith Show
with my best friend Mike Harmon. Everybody live from the
Fox Sports Radio Studios. Real credit card questions require real people,
someone who understands your issues and works to resolve and

(00:43):
with you. That's why I Discover offers helpful US based
representatives available twenty four seven. Discover exceptionally common Sense. Well,
apparently we have to have another debate. But before we
get to that, this is the story we're gonna talk
about for a second, and then we're just gonna mention it,
and then we're just gonna we're gonna let it. We're
gonna let it go. That's how you're trying to do

(01:04):
this which We're just gonna let it go. We're just
gonna let it go. We we have to, we have to, Okay.
The New York Mets announced that after throwing in the
outfield tonight, Jacob de Graham felt tightness in his right shoulder. Yeah,
and he might not be able to make his schedule
start tomorrow, as long as it's only four tomorrow. Obviously,

(01:29):
we anxiously await any further developments, updates, and diagnoses in
the process. But for you, I'm sure you have a
lump in the throat. Maybe you had to down an
extra cheeseburger or an extra gulp of a chocolate milkshake.
I don't know, but I was feeling for you when
I saw this headline, which is why I immediately had
to send it to you. Uh as soon as I

(01:50):
saw it. I gotta say, when I see headlines like
this now, the amount of time that I am depressed,
it like it's like a half life. Like what if
you first see the headline, hey to Graham's shoulder sore, nous,
elbow tightness, he's got uh, and then I'm depressed for
a while. Now it's like I'm depressed for like a
second because I'm like, of course it is because the
guy can't can't stay healthy. Of course it is. Of

(02:11):
course he has shoulder tightness. Of course he has something.
Something is happening because the guy just can't stay healthy.
Of course he hasn't. And you know that it's gonna
wind up being tightness that he can't pitch tomorrow. He's
not gonna pitch opening week. We're gonna take time. He's
gonna start the game, the game on the injured the
season on the injured list. Then who knows when he's
gonna pitch. And then somehow Max Schurz is gonna demand
a trade, doesn't want to be in New York anymore,

(02:33):
and it's never gonna get off the ground. I fully
expect this now. I fully expect this now over It's

(02:53):
not your fault unless it is. I mean, I don't know.
It's okay, it's okay. It's like you got a hundred
sixty two games. Just hopefully he's there by July mm hmm,

(03:13):
because then the Knicks will be you know, long and
distant memory. It'll still be a month before the Jets,
and he'll come back. It'll be back for you, and
it'll be Okay, well you might hear that I'm trying
to cheer you up, but I mean I can't help.

(03:33):
I mean, I don't wish it ill on him. I
just can only imagine your response at seeing what are
the two players on your roster that you have any
hope for? Uh? And one of them is injured before
we even get to open a day. M h, I

(03:55):
haven't heard that in a while. You know, there's gonna
be a big tribute and he doesn't work of Paul Simon,
all that star cast that'll be taped for television. Just
give me a second, Just give me a second. Reevaluated Friday,
after feeling tighten his shoulder and breathe it out. Breathe
all the toxins out. Breathe in, Breathe in good feelings,

(04:19):
breathe in good cheer, breathe toxins out. Let me right there.
The Mets suck. Okay, okay, all right, take that for data.
I'm a little bit better now. I just needed that minute,
just needed that minute, because of course, the Mets can't

(04:40):
have nice things just can't happen. It's okay, it's not
even opening day. Calm down can't happen? Can happen, but
you might have an update tomorrow that changes everything. But
now it's precautionary to gram out months mets see no
end in sight for aces struggles. No, uh, just you
know it's okay, okay, move on, deep breath and move

(05:00):
on the Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon.
You know, maybe I do need to meditate or do something.
Some kind of yoga is too difficult and I can't
get my body in those will I mean, you don't
have to be bendy there. You just get yourself self,
you know, sit cross legged and staring into the abyss. Okay, well, hey,
well doing for the last like thirty seconds, wasn't a

(05:23):
positivity staring off into the ocean trying to find peace,
tranquility and uh well some positivity you'll always have nineteen
eighties six. Yeah, yeah, yeah, alright, so well that is happening.
We'll at least have nineteen eighties six. That's thirty years ago. Um. Tonight,

(05:47):
the game of the night in the NBA, the Bucks
beat the Nets one one nineteen. The Nets had a
five point lead late, the Bucks force overtime. Jani's forces
over time with a big shot and Kevin Durant shot
comes up short at the buzzer in ot so the
Bucks escaped this one in Brooklyn one twenty to one nineteen.

(06:09):
Kyrie Irving played the whole game, Kevin Durant played the
whole game, and unfortunately for the Nets, Joannis played the
whole game. Forty four fourteen boards and six assists for
Johannis tonight. All right, now, I know we haven't talked
about him because it's been other flavors of the month. Right,
John Morant was on a path to winning the m

(06:29):
v P. I told you it was happening, but he
got hurt. Now he's not gonna be back. It's gonna
be very difficult, especially now you're seeing Memphis continue to
win out. They're eighteen in two without him, Right, it's
bad news for him winning the m v P. It's
great news for Hey, wait a minute, Memphis could be
a new Western Conference power because if it's good without
John Morant, so bad news and for the m v
P good news there, um is it good news for

(06:52):
Joel and b Not really? The Sixers aren't probably aren't
going to finish in the top two, and with the
way they have played, Harden has come. They've been five
and five the last ten games. They have not played great.
You can you can crush your LM beats chances. I
know Nicola Yokich is starting to get a run here.
But look, they're gonna finish fifth. Okay, they're gonna finish

(07:14):
fifth in the Western Conference. And and I laugh when
someone says, but lebron Um, we may have to default
to Hey, you know who the m v P is.
It's your honest again, a right second the league in
scoring now and the Bucks are now just a half
game out of first place, and they could wind up
finishing in first place in the East. And look if

(07:36):
if you're looking at someone who from beginning to end,
because that's what you need in the NBA, right, You
can't win m v P by playing a couple of months.
You can't. You can't play great in November, December, January,
disappear and then come back. You can't just play well
in in March and April. In the m v P.
You have to be someone that does it all year.
You can't have a lapse in your play. You can't
be injured. It's too difficult to happen. Uh, nice is

(07:59):
your God if I had to put, if I had
to put odds right now, and who I think is
gonna win the m v P. And you know what changes?
Janice kind of as the guy because what is he doing.
He's gonna have him the top. He's having a season
just like he had during his MVP years. He's just
as dominant. And I'm sorry, but I don't know that
you can find somebody else that's affecting his team as
positively as he is. Right he's second league and scoring,

(08:22):
he's fifth in league and rebounding. I mean, I I
don't know what else you want from the guy coming
off a fifty point uh performance in Game seven win
the NBA title last year. Now you're seeing follow up
with this. Milwaukee is now peaking when they absolutely need
to be with a few games left before the playoffs.
Uh No, Now it's time to come back to Janice
as being your m v P. Steph Curry was that, No,

(08:43):
STA's been injured, He's not gonna win it. It's it's
kind of difficult to give it to anybody else. But
right now, if you're saying, beginning to end, who's healthy,
who's there, who's got his team in the highest. Uh,
achieving at the highest level. It's you honest, Yeah, it's
the curiosity, right, because they lingered in that fifth six
and then all right, now we're in the the back
tur right, they come, they round for home if we're

(09:05):
gonna take it to a horse race, you know, the
final furlong and down the stretch they come. Uh, you've
got suddenly. Jannice just been absolutely beastly and the Bucks
have been fantastic. Tonight they win a game even after
Middleton gets tossed for something. Uh. Every night it seems
we have a phantom ejection. Yesterday, Uh it was Austin Rivers.

(09:28):
Tonight Middleton, but Yokich. As I'm looking at the odds,
this is as of forty eight hours ago, so obviously
things changing and money flowing as it were. Uh, you
had Yokich ahead of mbiad ahead of Janice. I had
a booker who's starting to get some juice, which I
think he should write. Chris Paul missed enough time to
where he showed he was a guy out amongst himself.

(09:48):
And then you have Luca, who's after a slow start,
who's been on other worldly right, he got in shape.
I was trying to show the girls that. Uh. The
other day we're watching basketball. I was like, oh, this
guy is dominated great because he had that huge first
quarter against the Lakers, Like guys he got into shape
and oh look out. And then you got Jayson Tatum

(10:09):
of the Celtics, who has been amazing as they pick
things up after January one. So I guess you can
go against him, saying I the first two months he
didn't do a whole lot. Well, there's still near the
top of the Eastern Conference as well. So a nice fight.
And then when you start building narratives, right, because a
win here would make your Honice all time great? Nice? Right,

(10:32):
isn't that how we do things? How many how many
chips does he have? How many rings? And and how
many m v p s does a guy have? Right,
that's how we start doing that sliding scale of greatness.
So for folks voting on him, I fear he gets
into the well, is he really one of the greatest
of all time? Because this player only had two or
this guy only won one. This is where we get

(10:55):
into the nonsense. And for Yokich the same thing. It's like,
are we really going to give it to him? Back
to act and they're they're terrible narratives, but they're human
and they're flawed, and they need to have arguments for
their television, radio or newspapers. Well look, look and it's
and it's not like NICOLEA. Yokich isn't having a great season.
He is, but you have to you gotta if you

(11:16):
have players that are leading their team to a greater
place in the standings. That's kind of what it is.
I mean, meandering around six plates. Oh boy, what an
m v P. Yeah, I don't know about that. I
mean you kind of felt. I mean it's like he
came out of nowhere last year to suddenly be the favorite,
Like no one said anything about Nicola yoking something overnight

(11:37):
with only two games behind and he doesn't even have
his second and third guys. Yeah, okay, what's the what's
the tougher conference? The East is a much tougher conference
right there. The West is a top heavy conference. Youve
got a couple of really good teams and New got
everybody else. Right, the East is a much tougher conference.
So for if we said that for the Western Conference

(11:57):
for so long to be playing and they should be regulated,
I don't know. I gotta say it. You gotta say
it for the East. Gotta say it for the East,
just because then you have to give the East. You don't,
don't look at the Knicks, and Knicks have nothing to
do with it. Just stop with the Nicks. The Knicks

(12:18):
would be a ninth place in the West exactly. This
is how loaded the East is, Okay, I mean, that's
what it is. I mean, I'm glad you were pointing
at the Knicks. Is a positive there, So I apologize that.
I really just thought I could get a cheap laugh
from our audience worldwide. I thought you were just saying, yeah,
but the East has the Knicks. That was gonna come
through the comrex box here and choke you. But instead

(12:41):
you did a positive thing. So I'm okay with that, buddy. No,
that's okay. You know what, if we you could choke
me out through the way of doing shows remotely, we
would not only win some sort of award. I mean
that may be Marconi worthy. You want to talk about
building an audience? Do you see this? He hated his
co host so much that he found a way through

(13:05):
the electronics to choke him. Twitter and about a Fresca
Mike and swollen ump. He really wasn't a Marvel way
like ant Man goes through when he comes out the
other side and chokes him. No, he actually found a
way to do it, like his whole body go again,
like while he was eating chocolate pie and he came in.
He actually the hand came out and started choking my car.
But it was great level stuff. As long as we

(13:25):
got video and we can recreate it really well. We've
got enough artists that followed the show, we can make
that happen. Dealing with a dead battery head to Autos

(14:08):
Heart Radio app well. Joining us now on the hotline
for all the biggest news in the National Football League.
He is a longtime NFL insider. He's a selector for
the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He's a friend of
the show. It is Jason Cole who is with us now.

(14:34):
Go astex dudes, all right, because a right Stanford does
not have a game in any sport right now. So
Jason Cole is just happy enough to spend few minutes
with us to talk football. What is going on with
the staccato delivery by Jason Smith? Why are we doing this?

(14:55):
The computer overlords have one j Cole. It is now
a Hi Jason Smith on the ship. Pretty soon he
won't even need us to whole shows. It's just let's
put an algorithm in that sounds like these guys and
and there. Well, we don't need to pay anybody, and
now we just run the show and it'll be That's
how it's gonna work pretty much how it does now.

(15:15):
It'll be like word will except for sports talk radio
it's the algorithm, and the algorithm's got it. I'm gonna
have to connect this somehow with Cowboy Beans and Jerry
Jones before this is over. But yes, I'll do that. Yes,
all right, very good, very good. Uh so yeah, the
algorithm of the algorithm of the Cowboy Beans. Yes, well, well,

(15:35):
well you know, listen, do you want do you watch
like Succession or yellow Stone, either of those shows? Do
you watch our shows? Yeah? I watched yellow Stone and
not watch Succession, but I but I get the idea. Yeah, okay,
So this whole thing with the cowboys, what's going on?
And now this story with Jerry Jones before you said
it's the whole thing, it's like, I mean, yeah, and
this is like this is like year seven when they're like,

(15:57):
we need a new character. Let's introduce a kid that
nobody knew that the patriarch hat Dallas. It is with
Larry Hagman and and you know, I mean Ken kerche
Ball and he was one of the actors. He was Cliff. Yes,

(16:17):
I remember you always had the cowboy hat. Yes. All
I can remember is is all I can remember is
Larry Hagman because he was a genius. You remember the
who shot j R. Episode is like the biggest episode television. Yeah,
and it was awesome. It kept it kept suspense for
eight months or something like that. It was fantastic. Guess

(16:40):
So now we got on television show. So no, I
can't ask this question. I mean, your show will end
if I ask, Okay, don't do that keep us you
won't be doing that. Yeah, we get algorithm Jason Cole,
then you won't be on the show. It will be
algorithm Jason. Right, we're not We're not doing anything about
shooting and gun and you know and anything else that

(17:03):
has relation to those shapes. So yeah, we'll stay with
from that, guests, I'm waiting. Yeah, I was wa I
was waiting to see who was picking that that falling it,
So ask the question about it there? Well, now you
didn't want to follow always it's I get to follow,
and then you ask here, I'm waiting on the following.

(17:25):
It's this, this is this is when he says, this
is my show. I talk about what I want to
talk about. Looks that's what you do, but I also
want I do have I do have certain boundaries. Someone
to go to those certain boundaries. So what do you guys,
want to talk about the overtime rule. That's that's what
I wanted. No, Listen, Mike Florio is not on the

(17:47):
line with us, right. We don't need to talk about
the overtime rule. We don't need talking to the overtime rule. No, no, no, no,
Now listen, Hey, let's talk about the fact that, Hey,
Bruce Arians all by himself decided he wanted to retire
and move to the front office of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
not spurred on by anything else. He simply came to
the decision that he didn't want to coach a Super

(18:07):
Bowl team anymore now that Tom Brady was returning, and
it was more important that he has t J the
succession plan in place, like Brian Cox J and not
Brian Cox, the linebacker who flipped everybody off to see
the Wizards. By the way it was, I was at

(18:28):
that game when Brian Cox did that. That was fantastic.
But did he do it to you? I bet he
did it to you that he had his moments with me.
We're at piece now. I like Brian, but we had
our moments during that tenure where things were a little tense.
Let's just put it that way. Former teammate here at
Fox Sports Radio. Anyway, keep going. He's a great guy.
He really is. He is a wonderful guy. Um and

(18:51):
and pretty much all of Buffalo deserves that. I have
to say that, Wow, look at you, because I'm not
I'm not going to Buffalo anytime soon. I can get
away with saying that to a bar SubTime. Huh. All right, then, well,
maybe the Pro Football Hall of Fame is gonna trade
you to the Buffalo News. Maybe you're gonna wind up
being there. They're gonna trade you for Yeah, I don't

(19:13):
know whatever going on? How long is this going on?
How the soliloquy that you're inventing about me going to
the Buffalo News. Why I'm gonna get you traded the
Buffalo I'm Tom Brady. I'm gonna get you traded the
Buffalo News. No, you're just gonna get me a retire
if if you're coming. It was a power move. Now,

(19:33):
I do have a question whether Brady pushed for this
or whether ownership, like in having conversations with Brady, took
you know, sort of like took the hint and did
it on their own. I mean, but it's really you know,
it's clear. Like it's like I talked to you guys
about before Brady was ticked off at the end of
last season, about how things run, how things are sloppy

(19:55):
and sideline. And you know some of that revolves around
Todd Bowles because he the one who called on all
blitz and forgot to cover you know, like the best
receiver in the league last year somehow, some way. Um.
But you know, they gave Bowls the job, and you know,
the tension between him and Arians goes away because Arians, Look,

(20:15):
Arians doesn't want to run the kind of offense that
Brady likes to run. So I get it, um. And
And if Arians is that much of a of a
hold up? Yeah, the ownership was smart to say, look, look,
let's move along and bring Brady back because you need
to have the player. Um, the players far more important
than the coach. You know, we we we've proven that right,

(20:38):
So that all makes sense to me. I mean, look,
Dan Marino moved out Don Shula. Now, what Dan Marino
didn't count on is that he was gonna get Jimmy
Johnson and they were gonna hate each other. But um,
I don't think that's going to happen to Brady and bowls.
So you know, look, if they don't get long, you know,

(20:58):
fix it and fix it so that you keep the player.
I don't blame the Bucks at all for doing that
once upon and once again we're going about Super Bowls,
all right, So owners meetings and obviously one of the well, look,
if you're not coaching the Jets, you got a shot.
You know. I hope Robert Sale comes to your house

(21:19):
and I don't know, and takes alligators from the from
the fairway beyond you whenever you live, and he throws
him into your backyard. Whatever he whatever he would do,
it would be a bad call. Don't worry, because here's
the here's the one thing that you that Robert saw
have to deal with the alligators and you know, all

(21:40):
sorts of snakes in bowl constructions, anything else that will
come out of you know, the Florida swamps. The one
thing that he cannot overcome is Woody Johnson and being
a Jet. There's just like that combination. It's over You
just can't overcome that. You just can't deal with it.
He also would coach scheme over alligator, because that the
kind of coaches he wouldn't He wouldn't go to the

(22:02):
individual alligators town. You would go, scheme over, alligator, go here. Yes,
he would get the top two alligators. Yeah, he would
get the top two alligators and then would say, hey, no,
I want to make sure they're on a rotation with
these other alligators who aren't as good, and then you
would wind up escaping. Well, then he would audible two
cowboy bees because you have to bring in the cowboy

(22:23):
bees over the top of the alligators. Alligators a little
bit lower in. The cowboy bees come right over the
top because you don't want a jump right on over
those those alligators and you know, possibly miss him. That's
why I was flying with cowboy bees right like that,
Someone's just tuning into But my cowboy bees gonna get
a little bit out of control, if you know what
I'm saying. Someone is just tuned into the show for

(22:45):
the first time in the last ninety seconds, and they're going,
what the hell is this? What stumbled upon? What this
is sports radio? Yeah? And then yeah, well, and then
I mean to continue the analogy. You have the owners
meetings and a lot of complaining that the contract offered
to DeShawn Watson is like a Burmese Python and squeezing

(23:06):
owners whose quarterball it wasn't It was only one owner
who was really saying that. And that's the one who's
negotiating with Lamar Jackson realizing, uh, he's really he's pretty good,
but he's getting worse really fast. And I don't know
that I want to pay him that much money. But

(23:26):
somehow I can fool his mom, since she's his agent,
into thinking this is a great deal. But I get
off the hook like that all disappeared when the word guaranteed,
you know, full guaranteed showed up in the Deshaun Watson
contract and Mama, Mama Jackson can come in and say
we want that kind of deal. And the Ravens are

(23:47):
really they're in a tough spot because, I mean, Lamar
just hasn't gotten anybody better as a thrower. He just hasn't.
He's not Deshaun Watson. Deshaun Watson is is you know,
it's gonna be one of the top five quarterbacks in
the league. And Lamar Jackson, like I man there, they

(24:09):
try to make this work. I gave him a lot
of credits, but he has not improved as a thrower
enough that you can depend on him and pay him
that kind of money. You can go to year to
year with him, and if you want to, like I'd
be all in favor of franchise that guy year after
year and pay as you go. But he's not going
for that, and that's going to be a really big

(24:29):
problem between him and him and the team and you
know Mom and big Man. So yeah, Bashati is like
really queasy about that contract that was given to Shaun Watson.
He is with us every week, whether we like it
or not. It's Jason Cole, whether you like it or not,

(24:53):
I'm the only thing you have to look forward to. Okay,
let this in perspective. I'm all you've got all right,
that's it? What else? What else has done on this program?
You keep my name out of your mouth? Alright? Alright,
let me ask this. So Bobby Wager joins the Rams

(25:15):
now uh and the Super Super Team continues. How many teams, realistically,
Jason I got into this a little bit earlier, Mr Sea,
how many teams can try to copycat this legitimately with
the way you know, we have a revolving door system
for coaches and g ms, you can do it because

(25:35):
the cap is high if it. Here's the thing, the
minimum contracts that you have in the league right now
are so low, like you know, the you know, six
of your team makes a million plus a year, right
and the cap is going to be what is it
two oh three that's coming year. I'm trying to remember
what it is. Yeah, yeah, to U six Okay. So really,

(25:58):
if your team is making the minimum, you're you're about
forty to fifty on them on the minimum. So you
can load up on bigger on these on these star
players because of the way the camp a structure. Now,
if the union was smart, and that's that's a mathful um,
they would change the minimum contracts so that this would

(26:19):
be less plausible. It doesn't mean that guys wouldn't get paid,
but they wouldn't be able to move as easily as
as they're done. But the math works right now, and
it's only gonna get worse because the minimums are stuck
here for the next at really low levels. And so yeah,
you can do this. You can't get away with it,
and it doesn't really hurt your cap and and so yeah,

(26:42):
like this is this is gonna be the way that
a lot of teams do business because because they simply can.
Now does it really work that Dolphins tried this back
in the nineties? Um, you know during Don Shield was
like last year, his last raw. They loaded up on
all these guys who were supposedly stars, and they overpaid him.

(27:02):
The problem is that it generally really actually doesn't work,
so for for all the teams that are going to try,
because the Rams just did it. Um, I just I
don't know that the success rate is going to be
quite as high as what she saw with the Rams
this year. But yeah, absolutely, the math works. The math

(27:24):
works when your cap gets the two and by next
year is probably gonna be to fifteen or two twenty,
because it's gonna it's gonna jump again. Um with pretty
good numbers because of the TV deals. Uh yeah, I
mean you're paying the bottom end of your roster, and
I wouldn't say nothing but a whole lot less than
you're paying those top five or six guys that you're

(27:45):
loading up on. He's on Twitter at Jason Cole sixty two.
That is at Jason Cole sixty Cowboys Cowboy Bees, Cowboy
Bees nine and then seven. What does that sound lack? Yeah,
sounds like victories. That's about a three million dollar Twitter

(28:08):
hand close. His book, of course, is Cowboy Be's a
Relentless Life. It is out right now, Amazon, Barnes, and
nobleherever you buy books. It is there. Uh. Maybe maybe
your nickname is now the Beak. I voted Cowboy Be
into the Hall of Fame, but the bee Key. I
think your nickname is the beat Jason Colet, Oh that's
the Beekeeper. He's like a Batman villain. Now, yeah, that's right. Yes,

(28:30):
you'd be all sticky with honey and that's your superpower.
People can't run way and yes there you go. Oh yeah, yeah,
and you measuring great serial by the way, wasn't it?
I love? They would always measure it how big it was?
Is that would that be hunting? Hunting? Hunting that cheerios?

(28:51):
Would that be the closest thing to hunt tomb? Or
is that not quite as sweetest? Hunting comes no further
down that road? Yeah? I think. So this is the
rabbit hole that we've done with honeycomb. You know, here's
the funny thing is you're gonna hang up and listen
and Steve to Sayer is gonna have some kind of
honeycomb or honey nut cheerio stat to start his update

(29:11):
on what's trying. I'm gonna send you some Honeycomb now,
thanks a bunch. Jacob appreciated Buddy Anyboddy. Real credit card
questions require real people, someone who understands your issues and
works to resolve them with you. That's why I Discover
offers helpful US based reps available seven Discover exceptionally common sense.
Wasn't Honeycomb. They would show you. They wanted to show

(29:32):
you how big it was. Yeah, Honeycomb big, yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah, it's not no, no no, And they actually
put like a piece of the cereal like next on
next to a ruler to show you. Like I was like, oh,
it's like half an inch big, which in retrospect, I'm
going all you're telling me is that boy, if my
kid bites this is gonna choke on it. Why would
why would I give this to Never really thought about

(29:53):
it that way. I do like the fact that he
ended his opening little monologue and there was the pause
and you had nothing to follow with. I was like,
this is normally where you you say something back at him,
and now it's like I'm just counted out, like I'm
a referee. At the free throw on Wine. Be sure

move and tap in with me on kJ Live wherever
you get your podcast from. Let me just say this,

(31:00):
you want to see the end of someone's career, I
present to you Antonio Brown because after what he said today,
really his NFL career is over. Okay. He talks to
TMZ and he's concerned why no one is signing him. Um,
you quit in the middle of a game on a
team that had Tom Brady on it. Okay, so there's

(31:21):
that that's really gonna stop for signing you. But this
is the real best part of it is that he
wants to be signed. However, he does need ankle surgery.
You think, okay, he's gonna get ankle surgery and then
he's gonna be ready to go. Oh no, no, no, no, listen,
Antonio Brown say, it's got to be the other way around.
I need to get my ankles figs. But I just

(31:43):
want to make sure, you know, I got a really
obligation or commitment from a team. You know, it's a
lot for a guy to go through surgery without an
idea where you're gonna work or you're gonna work for.
So he'll get surgery, but only if a team promises
that will sign him, then he'll get surgery and come

(32:03):
back to play. I present to you the end of
Antonio Brown's career. Oh yeah, let me. We're gonna give
you a lot of money and then you're gonna have surgery.
We're not gonna know when you're gonna come back. Oh
my goodness. I mean, really, of all the things, of
all the things, he's like, this is gonna be the
one thing that keeps him out of the NFL. I'm
not having surgery. Why, well, I won't until the team
signs me. Team's not gonna sign until you prove that
you're healthy. Well, we're at an impast while that impasses.

(32:26):
You're not gonna play anymore. You're done, You're done playing.
And now he's just gonna be he always gonna be.
He's gonna be the quote the ex athlete who gives
you a quirky headline once in a while, that's what
he's gonna be. Now every every few months, we're gonna
get Hey, here's a crazy story involving former NFL wide
receiver Antonio Brown, and who knows what it's gonna be.
I mean, we've you see when it's been within the

(32:47):
last few years. He's gonna give a quirky headline a
couple of times a year, and that's what we're gonna
talk about him. But really, he's not going to get
surgery until a team signed up. Nobody signs a guy
before he has searched. Well, not only that, he also
didn't was acted as his own hype man, talking about
how good he was and and the comps to other

(33:08):
guys that just got big contracts and became franchise changers.
In theory, I was like, okay, again, they would like
to know that you can run fully and then you
can get a big bag. In the interim, you walk
down on a team, strolled through the end zone. All
of that off the field issues that had to be

(33:28):
looked into and investigated. Uh, time and again. Oh and
you still need ankle surgery. Meanwhile, there's wide receivers. Still,
there's a laundry list of guys haven't signed yet. And
not to mention the fact that we're talking about the
draft and how many guys that could go in the
first and second rounds that are wide receivers. Hell, Ohio

(33:49):
State has five of them of their own. Obviously an exaggeration,
but the point being plenty of guys getting ready to
come into the league and make an impact. They're not
forking over double digit millions. So you have surgery, miss
a bunch of time and then potentially be a headache.
Now see Yuh, we'll see on pros versus Joe's once
they bring Petro's back. For that, No, we'll see you

(34:11):
on the internet. Went oh, why is Antonio Brown trending?
Let me look and see what he did. Let me look.
That's what it's gonna be. I would like an alternative
broadcast on the web with him. I'd watch it. I'd
pay a dollar a game for that
