live from the Fox Sports Radio studios. Thanks to Bucky
Brooks for stopping buy if I thought there was more,
but there was more, There's not more. Here we go,
(00:45):
There we go. Hey, Hey, don't forget Tomorrow night, Big
Draft Show here on Fox Sports Radio, alive from the
Belaggio in Vegas, Jay Glazer, Rob Stone, our own LaVar Arrington, RISP. Hleman,
always giving you pick by pick analysis through the first
round of the NFL Draft right here on Fox Sports
(01:06):
Radio and then right into our show seamlessly right in.
After the first round is over, we take over here
at Fox Big Thing tomorrow again, So listen the entire
first round pick by pick an analysts analysis analysts analysis again,
Jay Glazer, Rob Stone, LaVar Arrington and former Vikings GM
Rick Spielman right here on Fox Sports Radio. Meanwhile, early
(01:29):
in the fourth quarter, no one told Denver, hey, you're
supposed to go home by now. They lead the Warriors
seventy seventy five, so a lot of time left on
this tennan't to have to go on the fourth quarter,
and you know, it's not really the Warriors night. When
they get into the fourth quarter and they're only at
seventy five points, you know it's not the Warriors night.
They've not shot particularly great. Steph does have nineteen, but
(01:52):
Clay is struggling, so is Jordan Pool. The two of
them combined our six out of nineteen from the floor,
they've only had two threes between them. So a bit
of a struggle right now for the Warriors, the moments
of their death lineup just not working right now for
Golden State as the Nuggets staying in it up by four,
Yeah you right now. You got Pool off the court,
off along the baseline, kind of stretching out, limped off
(02:17):
a little over a minute ago, So keeping an eye
on that right now. Getting an opportunity to rest yo
Kich a little bit on the other side the Nuggets,
so opportunity knocks. I love the highlight that Brian Finley
played in his update where they did in row uh
shaggy about the score and it's like it's three possessions,
(02:38):
man like it. It's like it's the Warriors. They they
they come at lightning fast. Right. We've talked about that
in the past, uh, in past iterations, and we see
it once again with this squad. So unless they were
up thirty, I'm not saying, hey, look at is look
at the Nuggets baron. Now, I can get a race
(02:59):
very quickly, as we've seen so often times. But you
know when you see Boogie Cousins stepping back and hit
and jump shots and he's got seventeen points and four boards, now, uh,
that is something though, you do have to look up
and uh question your surroundings. Fox Sports Radio The Jason

Fox Sports Radio tomorrow night, NFL on Fox Insider Extraordinaire
A Glazer, Jay, what's up, buddy? How you been man?
What's going on? Young? How are you? You You know what
(04:04):
it's really You and I we talked about this for
the last couple of years, saying when when the Draft
is in Vegas, what's the chances that Glazier actually gets
there on Thursday night? And I was like, still alive,
I'm here, I'm here. Good. Well, you gotta countdown clock
up there, you know, best selling author Jay Glazer. Yeah,
(04:25):
it's a countdown of the Glazier show up on time.
Some dockey got the door every five minutes, Mr Glazer,
I think what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Whoever made that up as a liar, see, I see.
And here's here's where I think is like I'm picturing
you like you and Howie like another version of the Hangover,
where like you gotta get to the draft on time
(04:47):
and it's you're all over in Vegas and who knows
you and get there you're up on the roof for
the mattress and all kinds of crazy stuff. Well, I'm
gonna car right now with Andrew since he's unemployed, and
he's like, what's up, fellas, I need a job hard
for me. Hey, that's nice that you've become his new driver.
Congratulations on on the finish to a tremendous career video
(05:10):
that obviously warmed everybody's hearts and and Glazer has spoken
so brilliantly of you and glowingly of you these years,
so thanks for jumping in. Well, Letten, let's not pump
them up so much because now he's just you know,
he's like my you know, I guess I said my assistant. Yeah,
I don't want to blow that up. Yeah, it's much bigger,
(05:31):
better looking at this thing. If he wants to do.
He wants to do a remake of Twins, and we're
both fighting over who does swar Sa And I think
it's pretty clear he de Vito. But you know that's
just no. I think that's fine. Yeah, there's the different
camera angles. They can do stuff in Hollywood all the time. Now,
I mean the Tom Cruise looks like in every movie.
(05:51):
I mean, come on, what we got here? We got
all right? Now? You know what I love about about
Jay We get to the draft. You always say he
tells us anything every year what people don't get. All
the days leading up to the draft, there's nothing. And
then right before all the craziness happens. Uh. You know
you had a couple of big stories on Twitter about
(06:11):
some of the crazies now the last few hours. Um,
when it comes down to it, you know, you you
look at teams that change their minds. Uh, teams sometimes,
you say, change their minds. On the day of the draft.
They're locked in on one guy and then they change
their minds that night. It's gonna happen to Marrow too.
It's it's kind of crazy because you know they've been
working at this for the last threeands and sixty four days.
(06:34):
And then well, so here's here's the the real story.
What happens is these teams set their draft forward like Sunday, Saturday, Sunday,
just past reegend and so all the mock drafts you
here are all these things. You're like, oh, they're locked in.
Everything you see is full of crap because they don't
get they don't set their board until those past weekends.
And then after that these teams come in and then
(06:58):
how about the person all guys and shout and coach.
They come in and they do a series of mock drafts. Right,
so all these teams they actually do look what we do,
they do the same thing. May do these mock dress
and then they start going over scenarios of what could
really happen, what can happen, who could be there, who staying?
And let's say in a couple of mocks, you look
(07:19):
at it and you're like, man, also, these three three
have this player, so we have oh we app here
dropping to us man could actually happen? And then they
started kind of falling in love to that situation and
I'm that scenario and yeah, they start changing their grades
or training and changing their boards. So and the other
thing that happens. It's some of these teams owners they
(07:41):
stepped in here on a Wednesday or even a Thursday,
and they start talking to them. And a lot of
people want to press their owners, who want to agree
with their owners, and the owners will change stuff. And
I've talked to owners in the past and listen, you
wouldn't trust these had coaches to run your businesses, So
why would you ever think you could step in and
make these draft picks. And they get a little offended.
(08:04):
But that's the true and that's that's what happened, and
that's why you have these these especially with the quarterbacks.
These owners will come in and try and throw it
around from these quarterbacks. When man leave it up to
the professionals, the guys. You've been doing this for three
sixty four days going into it, so based on all
the mock drafts, if suddenly we see a run out
of quarterbacks and owners have taken over, yeah, I mean it,
(08:28):
it's happened. You know, I've got to talk people out
of going um with a certain Listen. When Johnny Manzel
was there, there was like three teams who the owners
like Searle LoVa. I'm like no, no, no, no, no,
don't like stay true to your draft board, don't do it.
But again they kind of fight with themselves of man,
(08:48):
I want to make my owner happy. Yeah, he's not
where he's supposed to. I don't really have them up there.
But and then the other problem where where guys get
in trouble is they'll have a guy. Let's say you
have a top can um great and the guy, but
you have a big asterisk against him because the character
issues or spot shield issue whatever and all found they're like, oh, man,
(09:10):
but this guy is sitting here at eight or twenty
whatever it is and or twenty like yeah, but you
got an asterisk because you know he's been coming and
blow your place out, like don't do it. And the
owners said there and go, wow, you got this guy
with a number five pick on him and he's sitting
right there. We gotta go do it. And you know, uh,
they end up setting your franchise back. So it's just
(09:31):
crazy how much it happened. I put a story on
Twitter today or on Instagram today that like this perfect example,
the Dallas have boys like and two weeks before the draft,
there's set takes Shawn Merman with the eleven to pick
of the draft like they were set, and then the
morning of the draft, they were just like, you know what,
we've been looking at more. We think we woulna go
(09:53):
to the Marcus Sware and obviously will works out for him,
but they literally made that change up the morning of
the draft. People will end up doing this tomorrow, and
some of it is who they're convinced they can get,
not get because they don't want to look like they're
jilting at the altar to the owner. So it's it's man,
this is the best time to do it. This is
(10:13):
just incredible. I just love the subterfusion and everything that
goes on right now he speaking to subterfusion. I got
a reference what I just heard about thirty seconds ago.
Uh there was a police siren and is Andrew driving? Okay?
Are you are you? Are you okay there? Because I
don't think you want that. Uh No, I'm doing just fine.
I was trying to listen to ban and I was
(10:35):
paying attention a little too much. Okay. I just like
that the sirens started as soon as you said character concerns,
like you had toun bangs. Wait, so what what if
I was in the draft would I be on your
draft board. Well, he's laughing. The term relevant come to moras. Wow,
(11:06):
get a good line. I gotta give it to him.
Your irrelevant, Jay Gla, you gotta put that on your
Twitter page. J Mr Irrelevant named Andrew whitworths Mr irrelevanto. Well,
but now you've got all your running buddies left and right.
I mean you got Peyton, you got Bruce, and now
you got Andrew. You got three guys that can now
(11:27):
run wild with you in and all sorts of craziness.
You came here. That's all we do. The life is
my the world is my locker room. M and now
I'm expecting And now I'm expecting what when? When? Or now?
After year? Now? Mr Relevant, when do you in uh
a wit get at it? Mm a style? Now is
that going to happen while you're in Vegas this weekend?
In the last twelve years, Whitworth like messing up half
(11:51):
the discs in my back lead five ft nine? Oh boy,
Jake Glazer and draft questions? What do we got? What
do we got here? Yeah? Wait, we got more draft questions?
He look, hey, going into tomorrow, we've heard a lot
of a lot of rumors about potentially Deebo Samuel maybe
(12:14):
some trades. Do you see in the trade there a
big trade tomorrow involving Debo, another wide receiver, someone else.
They got to blow him out of the water, right now,
that's not happening. They're kind of getting from officers for
like a first rounder plus and let's Deebo Samuel. He's
a weapon, he's different. So they got to kind of
really blow him out of the water with a couple
of ones. And and it just hasn't happened. And a
lot of times when that happens to the player they
(12:35):
have set in they wanted election for what happens. But listen,
if you're not, it's the team as you right. And
and San Francisco does not want you trade him. They
love them, they don't want to trade them. And you know,
we've seen these contract situations get really ugly in the past. Guys.
When I was We're going to CBS all these years ago,
(12:55):
we broke into the n C Double A tournament with
a story that I had that Michael Raynnas told me
he has done and never played for the New York
Charans ever again. And honestly, I was, I absolutely believed him.
He was so dead set ever playing for them again.
Contract situation was really bad. Well, Michael Patty Charity retiring
(13:16):
for the Giants this year. So you know, these things
a lot of times it gets really nasty. But I
think nowadays, like listen, if it was back then and
Twitter was available, a social media man and and you
know Michael dug In, I don't know what would happened.
But nowadays with with social media, um, it's a different Morgan.
That's kind of different warfare that these guys play. But
(13:38):
if I'm Sam Franz, there's no way. Man, he's the
guy's a weapon. He's different. Um, but he tug his
heels in and but you know, let's take what they want.
It's that I shouldn't say that it's not what they
want because they don't want anything. They don't So someone
has to come in there and really blow their socks off. Yeah,
(13:58):
or you just change your Instagram account anymore and just
take some logos off. JA, that's the big salvo anymore.
Baker Mayfield, is he going to be in a new
uniform the end of this week or is that gonna
wait a while? Won't be before the draft? I can
tell you that I totally part I can tell you show. Okay, yeah,
all right, So I got one more for Wit before
we got because I wanted I got to ask him
(14:19):
a very important question. W Now, if you were rating
Jay Glazer like like your own, like if you were
an uber driver and you were raiding Jay as a passenger, right,
but you can still get to rate the passengers though,
But you still get to d And that's a good question. Okay,
(14:43):
maybe about himself, but w still gets to rate the
passenger that still has to you. You can rate the passenger. Uh, loud,
irrelevant and loud. I just become a crouch, somewudruly loud
(15:07):
and somewhat unruly. Well, I'm not I do you want
to congratulate? You know, Jay, It's been a minute since
we talked and we've watched all the success and the
community that you've built. You've actually brought positivity to Twitter,
so you should get some kind of award or trophy
or something because of that. But congratulations on the community
you've built. Man, it's just amazing to watch. Thank you
(15:28):
guys very much. I love you all. All right, have
fun in the draft tomorrow. Yeah, body, we'll be here,
and if you see Jay and Andrew Whitworth, wave to them.
But make sure no, no police can't have police. The
police around there, we go there, they're They're gone. That's thanks. Yeah,
they're off to create some chaos. There's no question about it.
This is like Jay and Friends. Now one we have
j on It's like who's gonna be with Jay? You know,
(15:50):
it was how he long and he was on with us,
and now it's Andrew Witworth and he's on with us. Hey,
how he made what two or three appearances during the year?
How we made about two or three? Yeah? Yeah, but yeah,
but I don't know about wit though. He's already called
Jane loud and unruly, so I know he just cut
to the chase, and I do. I do remember those
early m m A videos of those guys sparring. So
(16:11):
I have no doubt he has contributed to some of
you know, some cleanup of Jay's back. But he just
said Jake was Mr. Irrelevant. But you know what, that's
what you do with your friends. Yeah, that's true. That's true.
If you're Andrew Whitworth, what did you do? You got
to come back for one more year? You want a
title in your emisode. I'll see you like I guarantee you.
(16:32):
J just said, stopped the car right now. We're gonna
settle this now, Mr Irrelevant to stop the car and
they're going at it right now on the side of
the road. Guys fighting on the side of the road, Vegas.
Please outside of Red Rock. Look at Jay Glazer and
that's Andrew Whitworth. Look at their going out on the
side of the road. It's like an episode of Breaking Bad.
Oh my goodness. Be sure to catch live editions of

Seconds left to go Golden State Now with a nine
lead over the Nuggets, Steph Curry and Nicola yoke its
trading buckets over the last couple of minutes but as
a four point Warriors lead right now, time out on
(17:34):
the floor again. Still a lot of time left here,
you got a full minute and a half. Uh, so
we'll keep you updated on this game and get what's
trending from Brian Finley coming up in a few minutes.
But thanks to Jake Lazer and Uber driver Andrew Whitworth
stopping by with us a few minutes ago here, uh,
Andrew Whitbur's rating of j as an Uber passenger loud
and somewhat unruly. So there we go. That's gonna go on,
(17:57):
go on, Jay's permanent record right there. Well, it's us
fall in line with previous evaluations. I think we can
go find how long and it's pretty much in path.
I can only imagine the chaos that will ensue on
the draft draft eve here in Las Vegas. I mean
(18:19):
they actually reopened one of the hotels in time for
the loss for the draft. The Palms reopened officially this
evening in a big pomp and circumstances and on fireworks
later on to night. To Jason, I mean, so you've
got that going for you as well. But well it's Vegas.
I mean, come on, it's Vegas. Is there's a night
if there's no fireworks that wait, there's no fireworks tonight.
(18:39):
I mean well, I mean at least always can just
go do an Ocean's eleven, finish to your night at
the Bellaggio Fountain, and then I'll break off to your
separate ways. Uh. So, we will have more on the
NBA coming up in a bit again, but with the
draft tomorrow night, and even though we have twenty four
hours to go, we still don't know who is gonna
(19:00):
be the number one overall pick. Right Trayvon Walker has
jumped into the front of the conversation the last couple
of days when Tom Thibodeau clearly was going to be
the number one pick that the Knicks don't want to
let him go. So Cavon Thibodeaux also in the mix,
and Aidan Hutchinson, and it's changing. It was Hutchinson for
first it was Thibodeaux, that it was Hutchinson, and now
the last couple of days it's Walker. All these guys
(19:23):
have red flags a little bit for you know, Thibideaux,
his motor is something that we've talked about a lot,
and and you know, is he someone that that's gonna
translate for every team for Aidan Hutchinson. Look, I saw
a lot of this guy, a lot of his games,
a lot of his game, his power. Uh, And I
don't know if you can bull rush left tackles in
the NFL to the extent that he did in college
(19:43):
football and get away with it. Doesn't have a big reach.
And you know you've got a lot of offensive lineman
offensive tackles got long arms, I got long reaches. That's
a bit of a red flag. Doesn't mean suddenly he's
gonna stink, but that's a bit of a red flag. Uh.
The one guy I am stunned that is not getting running.
The guy that I would take number one overall is
Sauce Gardner. All Right, he's got he's got no red
(20:06):
flags on him. He could be the next Derrell Reevous
but bigger. How would you not want to take him
right now? He's not an edge rusher, but he is
a shutdown corner who could lock down half the field.
And that's about as valuable a commodity as you can get. Right.
In three years, he's allowed one touchdown right hundred and
fifteen red zone snaps last year, one catch, one catch
(20:27):
in a hundred and fifteen red zone snaps. Like I
said the next Derrell Reeves, you would want to get
a guy like that. You can get an edge rusher,
especially someone that's got question marks. I will get someone later.
I get that he went to Cincinnati. It's not an
SEC school all. We like to see him doing at
a bigger Yeah. I saw him have a really big
game against Alabama and and and and shut guys down.
(20:48):
I'm surprised it's not more of a concrete thing that
Sauce Gardner is not gonna go number one, you know,
I want. I've tried to make him to the jets happen.
I've tried to make I put it out in the
atmosphere the last few nights, Sauce Sauce Sauce, And I
don't know there's even gonna be there at number four anymore.
But he's the guy I would take number one overall,
because if you have an edge rusher with a question
(21:09):
or a lockdown corner, uh yeah, sign me up from
a Gardner. Yeah. I mean, we look at the history.
We talked about it a little bit leading up the
last couple of weeks. As we we started to look
pulling out the crystal ball on this stuff, and cornerbacks
usually don't get get selected quite so so soon in
the drafts. The last one that you saw the the
(21:31):
Lions made the big pick of Jeff Acuda, who's played
well in his limited work right, and they're still wishing
hoping that he's a guy that can develop into a
top flight UH player commensurate to where with where he
got drafted right, top three. I mean that that's that's
big and bold. Only twelve corners in the top five
(21:53):
in the last thirty years, so you know, we're looking
at building blocks and this year while you just happened
to have a draft that has a lot of those guys. Yeah,
we can go on the defensive line. Even as you mentioned,
there's a couple of with the red flags. I thought
it was fun as we got into that kind of
part of part of the conversation with Jay Glazer UH
and with Andrew Whitworth that he said the word character
(22:16):
concerns and then a sudden you heard a siren. Really
you thought people were getting creative. Well, look, he's got
a little board in his car as he's driving Glazer
around Las Vegas. But it's the you guys Sauce right,
he got him, You got Stingy Stingley with an injury
issue and a little bit of consistency as it were.
(22:39):
I mean, how much of that's attributed to just one
unbelievable year where you had a squad where everything worked
and he was by far the most dominant player in
that run outside of Joe Burrow, of course. But the
the idea now that, uh, you're trying to choose between them, obviously,
Uh both expect did to make huge impacts. You know. Me,
(23:02):
I'm a guy that likes building from the interior where
I can Jason, but uh, somebody's gonna get rewarded at
the top and and maybe your Jets just do get
an opportunity to to grab him because of the love
of those edge rushers and the offensive lineman and Cam
Robinson signing today his three year, four million dollar extension
(23:26):
with Jacksonville. Curious how much that shakes things up as
to whether they still go offensive line, which was the
rumor or, or do they do they zag and come
up with a different because there have been reports that
you've got three different factions there trying to go for
different positions. Did you just say that Jags are gonna zag?
(23:48):
Did you just give me a jack zag? You gave
me a jackzag right there. That's pretty compressive. Well, you know,
I am a word smith and that's what we do here. No,
that's true. That's true. If it was a different year,
I would understand if there was a Bosa that was
available or someone that Hey, look, clearly, even though it's
not a quarterback, this is the guy you have to have.
(24:09):
He's a once in a lifetime defensive lineman. I would
get it. I would get it and say, well, you
gotta go. But when you have questions about all the guys,
why why don't you go with the prospect that could
really be someone who you have the least questions about,
that can be as dominant a player or more dominant
a player. Because if you're talking about a guy like
(24:30):
Aidan Hutchinson, right, who's upside is, Hey, the guy's a
Pro Bowl caliber player, okay? Uh? Sauce Garter's upside is
is way more than that, Like, you're talking about a
guy that could be the next great lockdown corner in
the NFL. Not many guys like that go on the
top five and he goes and he will go in
the top five. I I just don't see how that's
(24:50):
not it it's it's it's is it is it part
of the stigma against Well, we're just not going to
take a cornerback number one. Maybe teams are playing possum,
but I would with the Jaguars if if they were
gonna take Sauce Gardener, we would know that because they're
picking number one overall the other teams. Maybe it's a
little bit of a smoke screen, but man, I'm I'm
not confident he's gonna be there at four. But number
(25:11):
one he's I mean, I don't know why it's not.
He's not in the conversation more because when it comes
to him, it's, oh boy, this guy's great. He's so great.
He's so great. He's not a safety like Kyle Hamilton's
where hey, you're getting a great player, but the guy's
a safety. You're not gonna draft a safety that high,
are you know? A lockdown corner is the guy everybody's
still looking for them. I know the NFL is evolved
(25:32):
to more of a spread passing offense, and instead of
the number one guy, you know, you have teams that
are assembling a cadre of players. You know, one way
to go three four deep and wide receiver. But um,
when you're playing the Bengals, you gotta have somebody on
Jamaar Chase, right, you know when when when when you're
playing the Bucks, you gotta have to when you're playing
all these you gotta have somebody on Davontae Adams. Right
when you're playing the Raiders, you gott you gotta have
(25:52):
somebody on, gotta have somebody out of Marie Cooper when
you're playing the Browns. I mean, this is just how
it goes. You gotta have somebody on Stefon Diggs when
you're playing the Bills. You need that. And these are
all the best teams in the NFL. And you need
somebody on Tyreek Kill when you're playing the Dolphins. You
need that. And he's gonna be He's gonna bring you that.
His value is immense and and it's more value than
you would get from any of the edge rushers. Go
(26:14):
out right now for the number one overall pick. We
talked about it before. You've got uh, five players at
fifty to one or less. You right, there's four players, Uh,
you got Walker at minus three hundred, then U plus
three hundred plus six hundred and Evan Neil sitting there
at one, Thibodeau at fifty one, and then cross Stingley
(26:37):
pick it Hamilton's Malik Willis all at one hundred to one.
Oh man, can you imagine, I mean pick Jack Hort decided, Hey, yeah,
we look, yeah, we're gonna take Anny pick Yeah no
that one' well but that's the alright some yeah, right,
that's someone deciding last minute, you know, because is there
(27:02):
is there. That's the point is that there's not a
consensus consensus number one right, Walker is now vaulted to
the top of the betting odds, so you know, when
that happens in the final forty eight hours usually okay,
that's that's that's gonna be gold. But beyond that, who knows.
I'm looking at the odds for like the second, overall, third, overall.
(27:23):
There there's valuation to be head here because there's a
lot of unknown, which is why we need, you know,
Glazer to call Is back after they've been out and
about in Vegas for about four hours that maybe he
can tip his hand, because Glazer knows but the rest
of the world does not. But you know, for giggles.

(28:53):
Warriors just said goodbye to the Denver Nuggets one O two.
The Nuggets had a great game and an absolute lousy
fourth quarter. Even though Kola Yokich finishing with thirty nineteen
and eight, it didn't matter. He was the one man gang.
It was he was. He was the one of the
one man gang. He was the one man gang. You
(29:13):
can get well, Boogie Cousins had nineteen off the bench
in fifteen minutes, so he did. He did get a
little bit of bookie. Yeah, the fourth quarter was all Yokich.
Let's try to go back and forth, except that he
had five files so on what would have been a
huge play. You know, when Steph Curry did his sleepy
time thing that's becoming so famous, Yokis could only stand
there and watch drove around two defenders. Yokich is there,
(29:35):
doesn't even attempt attempt to challenge at the rim with
thirty seconds left, and then you get the night night. Uh.
Steph was really playing the villain. I appreciate him that
much more tonight, Jason Smith, let me tell you well,
I'll tell you you know, speaking of what I enjoyed
the most tonight was I think I enjoyed. Gary Payton
just screaming every time, like, you know, look, Gary Payton
(29:56):
second had fifteen points to night. But you know see
Gary Payton court side. Every time they cut him, He's
just yelling something to somebody on the court, like there
was no shot of Gary. There's Gary Payton joined the game. No, no, no,
he is yap, yap, yap, And the entire time looked
like he was ready to get back after right there.
But yeah, I mean not often are you going out
rebound to team by thirteen shoot. It ended up being
(30:21):
closing the margin, but for most of the night double
digit advantage at the free throw line. But when you
shoot six of twenty nine from three point range, yeah,
bad things are gonna happen. So the Warriors move on.
And I said in the beginning of this first round
when they jumped out to that lead, look, they clearly
should be the favorites to win the title. Because Devin
(30:43):
Booker and his situation with the Sons has thrown the
NBA playoffs into a tizzy. It's an everyday, hold your
breadth thing for the playoffs. That that's the that's the
most interesting part about the playoffs this year and now
what's gonna be a yearly thing, is you are one
day away from the playoffs changing just because of the
(31:03):
bigger propensity for injuries that there's been now the last
few years that we never really had before. Like we
we we never planned for injuries. Hard to say I'll
plan for injuries, but yeah, the NBA playoffs you kind
of have to plan for injuries. It's a day to
day thing, and it's an every day let's hold our
breath and make sure everyone is okay. Even though the
news today Devin Booker is coming back, potentially could come back.
(31:25):
He's doing so we go back for Game six. In
Game seven, hamstring issue doesn't lend itself to hey, I'm good,
I'm back. Lends itself to you're gonna hold your breath
every time he goes up and down the floor. Is
he gonna be able to play all the minutes he's
supposed to play. Is he gonna try to chase down
a block one too many times and suddenly now he's
out for another two or three weeks. It's hard when
(31:47):
you have that kind of injury thinking you're gonna make
it through the playoffs. At and the Phoenix Suns are
gonna need a hundred percent if they're gonna get by
the Warriors. Because for a while we've looked at okay,
this is the fatal company of the NBA Western Conference Finals.
Nothing has changed me. I still have the Warriors of
the favorite now, even though Devin Booker is coming back,
could potentially come back as early as Game six. Yeah.
(32:09):
I mean the curiosity now though, is how how injured
is Jordan Poole twenty six minutes tonight left the game,
was on the sideline trying to stretch out grimacing with
a limb three of ten from the field minus six
eight points before he did leave. So that's one that
could swing the pendulum them back the other way for
(32:29):
you Smith, especially if Devin Booker were to rise well
like the Phoenix. Well, but then Steve kirkerod just say okay,
well I'm starting Clay and Steph alright, so we're done
with it. Gary Payton shows up instead of being a
fan and might have a couple of defensive minutes, but
most other guys, you know, give up on defense as
they get older. Something tells me the Globe would have
(32:51):
something to prove and just say I still got it.
I mean, The fact that that pool was stretching trying
to get loose to get back in the game tells
me it's not that big at eel because they would
have taken him right off and be okay, you're done
for the night. So the fact that you tried to
maybe it was a case of a he tried, he
couldn't get loose enough to come back in the game.
It happens. Uh, you know, now you have the day off,
(33:12):
so I'm thinking it's not that big a deal. You
never know, could wake up tomorrow and suddenly, oh we
found this out about it. But I'm thinking he's going
to be okay, and uh, he'll be all right for
the next round because you know, you have you have
some time now, so he's got he's got a finish
to get ready. Yeah, he's got a few days. The

Slash match limitations they do apply so if that's the
case in the West, we watched tonight and I gotta
bring up a bad bad go ahead. It's okay, I'm sorry,
you know, because the dude, you were past the bulls
(33:54):
like two months ago. We can't beat anybody good. Was
the realist. Look as much as people like look during
the three seed I'm like, okay, great. Oh no, no, no,
I'm not saying you were wrong. I'm not saying you
were wrong. I'm just saying you would turn the page
a couple of weeks. So I was the realist. I'll
enjoy the ride for as long as it goes, because
eventually it's being shut down and you're gonna have to
(34:15):
walk off on the little safety rails. Yeah no, no, no,
you were good. Uh So, now that we've seen a
decent amount of first round play, we have a couple
of series still going, a couple of series that were
that were settled. In the East. You still behind the
Bucks to get back to the Eastern Conference finals, you know,
and my Celtics. So now we do we jump into
(34:38):
that mess as it were? Celtics plain better, better ball
and if you're gonna get the minutes that you saw
in round one like from Al Horford, all better off.
I just want to know if Chris Middleton's available, that's
gonna be a thing again. You're gonna hatch time. You're
gonna have some time. He's got some time to to
get better. But uh, that that's a big question man.
I mean, look, the he's not there, then I'll take
(35:00):
Austin there. Their first game is Sunday. Look at you
jumping on the Celtics. Uh, don't forget. Our best of
