(00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. So wait, let me
let me get this right. This is the power hour. Yes,
next hour is the bonus hours that we got it now.
Usually I just do three hour shows, It's in my contract,
and I don't usually do the fourth hour. I'm gonna
stick around this one time, but usually I don't have
(00:45):
to do a fourth hour. This one time when we're
thank you for your service, just this one time, you
know what I did today, as we welcome you back
to our three of The Jason Smith Show eight six
Jason and Mike with Arnie Spanie. I'm Chris. Like Arnie,
I went to a hot bed for Fox Sports Radio.
I went to Springfield, Missouri. I was on the beautiful
(01:07):
campus of evangel University, and I was speaking to young broadcasters.
Arnie find of the young broad. They never want me
speaking at colleges or anything. I always you know, volunteer.
They're like, no, no, that's okay, we don't want you
to and stuff like that. But you have like one
school in Vermont. You can go to Vermont and that's it, right,
(01:31):
the Catamounts. That's it. That's pretty much it. But there's
a other schools too. There's there's a few other schools
up here. Well. Next year counted in Springfield. Mission was
it was. They just all wide eyed, didn't jump in
the business. They were done with me after a little bit.
But I did tell him something that blew their mind, right,
I I blew their mind. I'm gonna blow everyone's mind here.
(01:53):
But first I want to tell you about another mind
blowing note, auto Zoned and the free services you need
to help you get back on the road, like their
free auto Zone Fixed Finder service. If you're having trouble
starting your car, auto Zone will test your battery for
free and help you find the issues so you don't
spend money on parts you don't need. With over fifty
six other locations nationwide, auto Zone is here to help
(02:15):
you save time and money with their free services. Getting
the job done. Just got easier restrictions apply. Get in
the zone, auto zone, Arnie. They were blown away when
I told the masses today we've done a radio show
together for a decade, right, we've never met in person.
I get the same reaction when I tell people. They're like,
(02:35):
they just they just completely blown away. How could you
not meet a guy? I go, he lives in Oklahoma.
I live in Vermont, know what the it's not like,
you know, regularly stopped by Oklahoma on my travels. Now
I think we were in l A. I don't even
think we were in l A at the same time.
You were leaving as I was rolling in the town.
So yeah. And people and they go, do you speak
(02:57):
on the phone? I go, I don't think we spoke
on the phone more than yea ten times, maybe what's
a year. That's that's pretty much text a lot. I
get a lot of those text messages if things aren't
he wants to talk about. But now we make it work.
Because the question was asked, how do you have a
good chemistry? How do you create good chemistry? I'm like,
not seeing each other? Do you stay thousands of miles
away from the person that doing the I'm not allowed
(03:19):
to be around other hosts. So, um, you know that
that's there's a reason for that. They go, we watch
you to be out in Vermontago, wouldn't you like me
back in l A. They're like, no, no, no, In
case the expos come around, you're right there to Montreal.
We we need somebody up there. You stay up there,
you stay way up there, way way way. Not to
get completely off the beaten path, but you mentioned the
(03:43):
ex pos um, and I just I hear this every
so often. It's, by the way, we need an alarm
whenever we sit in for any show, ty show, we
need to think about this, which is hack moment, like
hacky sports radio conversations or long hanging fruit or something.
But with that said, um, baseball expansion, right, is there
(04:06):
any buzz about the excitement of getting something closer to you?
AREN'TI maybe just north of you there and olda old Vermont?
Is there annie buzz at all about Montreal? Are we
just gonna get Nashville? And maybe? No, no, not at all.
There's a there is a big buzz. Matter of fact,
not only is there a buzz, I expected, I mean
you hear about the raise. I don't know how that
(04:27):
scoring the play out? They almost you know, they tried
to tell us that they were gonna do half seasons
half in Montreal, half in in Tampa. I don't even
think that's scoring the work. The Tampa market is just
not going to support that team. Montro did very well.
They had a couple of preseason games up here. Montro
did very well. There was a lot of expo fans
and Chris, you're the baseball study here. Think of all
(04:50):
the great names that used to play for the x Balls,
you know, Gary Carter, Andre Dawson, and there was some
real Hall of famers. I don't know if they you know,
they didn't go to the Hall of Fame as an expo,
but that was a once, you know, storied franchise. I
I think they're going to come back, and I think
it'd be a perfect occastion for it. My very first
experiences at a Cardinals game, uh involved getting an autographed
(05:14):
baseball from Jeff reared in he was the expost closer.
I as yeah, as as a little uh, and I'm
start to freak out because it was a Jeff Rearden
or Steve Bedrosian. Either way, he was the Atlanta close.
He was the Atlantic closed, so it must have been
Jeff Rear died. And so then there I took my
baseball and I got Warren Cremarts interview, our interview autographed,
(05:36):
and he's like, here, let me see your baseball. He
took it into the dugout and got a signed by
Tim Raines and Andre Dawson. So I need the Expos
to come back, so this baseball can get my kid's
broken arm fixed. So can you make that happen because
it's not expensive. It's pretty expensive to get a cast
on a kid's arm. But I, you know, I don't
know if it's pending. I don't know if it's it.
(05:58):
I feel like baseball kind of change is it's big story,
like every week, right one week it's robottoms are coming.
Then the next week it's you know what, We're gonna
add a baseball team somewhere, and then the next week
we're speeding up games. I just feel like baseball can't
figure out where it is or what it wants to do.
There's three markets. Obviously, there's Vegas, there's Nashville, and I
(06:18):
really believe there's Montreal. I think those are the top
three markets um that they should look to expand on
and and like I said, having a preseason game, it
didn't hurt that they got like thirty thousand or forty
thou people per game. Can you imagine, I live an
hour from Montreal. Can you imagine when the Yankees come
up here or you know, Boston or something, You're gonna
have built in Red Sox fans, Yankee fans. It's gonna
(06:40):
be a win win situation for everybody. I think so
got me a little bit excited about anyway. I don't know.
Hack segment over, I apologize, but you mentioned the expos
and you got me thinking about the future of a
major league baseball Well, if you're just tuning in, welcome
into Fox Sports Radio on a Monday night, little I
guess you could say breaking news throughout the day. And
(07:00):
that is the latest on the Deshaun Watson situation. Now,
Jason lock and for our NFL Insider here on the
Jason Smith Show, join us back an our number one.
And I don't know what kind of shot a few
holes in in buying too much into any report out there?
Did you did you kind of take that from what
Jason did? I don't know if yeah, I I don't
(07:22):
know if I necessarily agree with him on all that.
I think when there's a leak out there, you know
where there's um, obviously there's some fire out there where
you see some smoke, and I think that's what we're
getting to, you know, dismiss everything. I'm not so sure
I'm ready to do that. Um. The note today was
that with the briefs, you know, the post hearing brief
(07:43):
that is common in situations like this. You know, you
have the judge that heard the evidence, and now you
get kind of a quick, little cliff note version of
what everyone kind of trying to persuade you, Judge Robinson,
just to follow the timeline, we'll make a decision. She'll
have a lengthy it and report, and uh, she'll probably
(08:03):
explain how the policy did or didn't point to discipline.
But with that said, we learned throughout the day today
that now the NFL is only presenting four cases, that
there is I don't know, at the very least some
evidence that might lead you to believe that Deshaun Watson
is in a little bit more of a powerful position
than we thought. But why, I mean again, I go
(08:26):
back critin story, Why is this getting out, what are
these leaks? Were they coming from? And who do they benefit?
You know? If he was I just want to say this,
if Deshaun Watson didn't have a lot of money and
he wasn't a professional athlete, this guy could be going
to jail for a long long time. He would not
be able to buy himself out of this situation. Now,
I don't know if that's fair for me to say,
but there was no criminal charges, but you know they've
(08:46):
been settled. I don't know if these things would have
been settled, you know, without a court of law, if
you didn't have, um, a great lawyer, money and means
to take care of the situation. So um, can you imagine?
I mean, this is this guy could have been and
series jail time for what the acations are. I mean,
if he doesn't have a dream team defending him, Oh
(09:07):
not for sure? Could you imagine? Uh? And again, I listen,
I know Browns fans, you all are legal experts now
and he did nothing wrong in your mind, But listen,
this isn't one or two. This is twenty two to
twenty four to maybe even a larger number. So again,
I'm on team. This thing's gonna last a little bit longer. Arnie,
You're wrong team. You think this happens here in the
(09:27):
next couple of ten days to two weeks, right, Yeah,
I don't think this is I thought it would be
by the end of this week, you know, maybe two
weeks at the most. I don't think this is gonna
go much longer than that. I I said, if if
they're gonna suspend them, you gotta go ahead and get
the Browns ready in case they have thin get themselves
into the quarterback. They have to get somebody in the camp.
I know you're you think, like, well, they don't care
about the Browns, Well, they don't want to go and
(09:50):
put them really, you know, behind the equality worse than
it's got the beat. So I believe when you know,
as soon as they get it done, they're not gonna
drag their feet on it. They're gonna tell everybody. So
every single show that Arnie and I do together on
Fox Sports Radio, he'll send me a rundown of topics.
And the handwriting is terrible, but apparently penmanship I did
very well to you did you did it? It only
(10:12):
took a pair of reading glasses. I didn't have to
zoom things in too much. But I'm going through my
list here everything NFL. We're gonna get to to kick
off our number four. Brown's Baker talked about it, Jimmy
and g talked about it All Star Game. We're getting
to Tyree. There's something I don't see Zack Wilson on
(10:34):
here anywhere? Arnie, No, I didn't put Zach or did
you see that joke that's on Twitter? Did you see
that one? No? I I missed it. I've kind of
stayed off Twitter here recently because I have this Scottie
Pippen take queued up that I want to hit next
segment with you. But what's the what's the Twitter? The
joke is that if if there is a true story, um,
maybe the first time the Jeds scored over forties? Okay, pretty,
(11:00):
that's that's That's not that I didn't give a good
delivery on that. I'm sorry, I thought it was pretty.
I I don't know I get aroundible plause on that one. Standard, right,
I understand, I understand you're not. This isn't h chuckles
comedy club. That was good. That was good. Um here
here's why Number one, I don't even know if the
(11:22):
story is true. And number two, we're kind of losing
her mind over something that I don't even know how
how you you like address it in a sports radio
since outside of a little hey look at there, watch out, hey,
keep keep the moms away from Zach Wilson, I don't
(11:43):
even know you know what's fascinating. I mean it's not
just him. They talk about Tom Brady and you know,
dating a supermodel and an actress and all that. I mean,
people are fascinated with um who athletes state and stuff
like that. They always love to know that. Oh apps,
eolutely are you kidding me? Did you see though, the
kind of odd timing on what his mom posted? I
(12:07):
didn't realize this. His mom had what was described as
an emotional, nearly thirty minute long Instagram video on Sunday
night that talked about the evils of social media and
online predators, and the video was focused on her daughter.
She didn't address the rumors about her son. And again,
(12:28):
if you re late to the party, um, Zack Wilson's
extra X what's an ex ex girlfriend basically accused him
of cheating on her with his mom's best friend, Abby Gile.
I think she's dating a former teammate of his. Yes,
there you go, there you go. Yes, Yes, you couldn't
(12:49):
let me just get to that. No, I had to
get that in there, Chris. I had to get that
in there. But yeah, so again, there's where the drama lies.
There's where it comes from. Artie, y'all do with it
what you want. I don't know what to say, except
the meme reaction from his fellow teammates has made it fantastic.
I was gonna say, there's one story that this reminds
(13:12):
me of that was a big story a long long
time ago, Chris, even before your time, even though even
a little bit Yankees picture the Mets pictures where they
swap wives. Was that the yanke I don't think that
was the Yankees in the Mets? Was it was? It
was I think the Mets in the Astros or something.
And to two uh coaches, uh pretty much swapped lives.
(13:36):
They swapped wives, uh dogs, homes and you know, went
on two different lives out there. That's the you know
that was one of the one of them went on
and been was married for for like thirty years. The
other couple got divorced within a year. So well, I
like having that story rehash, but I don't know how
(13:56):
it compares to Zack Wilson hooking up with his mom's
best friend. Well, that's that's all I got for your
word with me, That's all I got for you. What
do you want me to do? Start going to like
American Pie and start talking about that. That's all I
got for you. No, no, no no, I'll take it. I'll
take whatever you can give me. All right, Hey, when
we come back, what's the rush? Why y'all in such
(14:18):
a hurry. We'll talk conference realignment next on Fox Sports Radio.
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart
Radio app. Uh you guys on Twitter at great, it's
already in planks sitting in for Jason and Mike on
Fox Sports Radio. The Sakers got an update in about
(14:39):
tim minutes. Got a lot of good baseball going on tonight,
Well was was going on. A few games already have
gone final. No Dodgers tonight, No, no, not at all.
But we uh we do have the Giants currently losing
to the Diamondbacks three to one. Arnie sorry. Uh well,
I was sorry about your mess, but they bounced back
tonight and a big way. I still can't believe you're
(15:01):
such a Dodger fan. You've never been the Dodger Stadium.
They've been a Dodger stadium, shocking to me. I've been
there like hundreds and hundreds of really respected like you should.
Don't cry every time you see it like I do.
I'm just saying, you know, I know next week there's
probably going to be I mean, I'm assuming a lot
of Fox Sports radio programming that could originate from Chevez
(15:22):
Ravine looking at my schedule, I'm pretty open. I want
you to know this. One time I want to uh.
I was in Westwood, which is right off the U
c A campus, and um, I go into Fat Burger,
which is a great hamburger, and it's really great at night.
There's only one person in there, right, and me and
my buddy going there, and I go, Dave Winfield, what
(15:45):
are you doing into here? Man? Just sitting in there
chow with a fat Burger? And we got to sit
with Dave Winfield and just pick his braid and stuff
like that. Did you did he chase you out and
try to fight you or was that he No, no, no,
because I don't try to kick. Yeah, no, no, he was.
He was totally cool. It was It was a lot
(16:05):
of fun. It was a good time. I would like
to have a burger and a beer with Dave Winfield. Oh,
you'd be pretty cool. He'd be really high on that list. Yeah. Well,
when you're in l A, you just run into these guys,
you know, they're all over the place. See, I wouldn't know.
I wouldn't know. You have a golden mic tholl. So
you have a golden mic. So take that, Dave Winfield,
so real quick. Before I get to this college football talk,
(16:25):
which obviously I'm obsessed with, David hits us up on
Twitter and rights. Zach Wilson is officially the best storyline
in the NFL. Forget on the field production. He's already
a first ballot Hall of Famer, unlike you want to be.
Maybe so you might be right on that front. I mean,
I'm not trying to be a smart like. I don't
really know where you go with this story. Yeah I
(16:47):
don't either. I don't even know why everybody's getting all
obsessed about this. I mean, come on, now, we've seen
movies about this, right, I mean to stop. I mean,
let's see what he does on the football field. Sure,
there'll be plenty of jokes if the guy doesn't get
it done on the football field. Boy, but what a
bomb for his girlfriend to drop on him, right, I
mean that? And again, first of all, I guess not
(17:09):
kind of sucks that, you know, she's dating one of
his boys, one of his former teammates. But whenever she
drops that evidence, it's kind of it's kind of tough
to bounce back from that. Or what am I talking
about bouncing back? It's it's kind of tough to not
have that thing spread like wildfire. And everyone kind of applauded,
and we haven't even you want to. I'm gonna kind
(17:30):
of hit pause on this take a little bit, but
everyone's kind of making their jokes and enjoying it and
smiling and laughing. We still haven't seen a picture of
mom's friend, have we? Oh? Yes, but we have? Okay,
all right, I didn't know. I haven't seen it. What
is it? Smoke show thumbs up? Well, all right, then
I stand corrected. Getting Edge of mccaated live here on
(17:52):
Fox Sports Radio. Okay, maybe the odds just continue to
go up a little bit more on his comeback Player
of the Year bid in two how maybe even his
m v P odds knowing some of you guys, so, um,
there's a lot of misinformation, aren't whenever it comes to
conference realignment. And I don't know what the future holds,
(18:14):
because there's no way I would have told you a
month ago that USC and U C l A would
end up in the Big ten in the span of
of a year, maybe what a year and a half.
So I have no clue. Guess who else didn't have
a clue? USC was going to the big tin Lincoln Riley.
So that makes a couple of us, right, But he yeah,
I like he had no he had no clue whatsoever.
(18:34):
I thought that he had maybe a little inkling when
he came on over that they said, you know, there's
a chance that the PAC twelve is not gonna be
the PAC twelve the way you know it right now there.
I mean, he had to have thought that was gonna
be possibly some changes when he came on over. That's
a big fat no, absolutely not. There was no way
(18:55):
that he saw this coming. But with that said, new
cares about that the USC and U c L are
off to the big tent. I have a very big problem.
And and I noticed, I know you like to worry
about people stealing our content from Sunday nights and repurposing
during the day. Uh seems to be a problem with
this show too, So I'll just go ahead and set
the trend for tomorrow. Brady Quinn is right, and he
(19:18):
heard he stole it from us. Guys. The SEC isn't
gonna pillage the a c C. Miami, Clemson, Florida State
are not coming to the SEC anytime soon, if ever.
And here's why. ESPN is already paying a boatload of
money to the SEC and to them it's a good investment.
(19:40):
I mean, what's the numbers. Aren't a hundred million dollars
to each team? It's ridiculous, right, It's ridiculous. Why would
ESPN implode the best deal they have to end up
having to pay more money to a league that they
already spend a hundred million dollars per team on. There's
spending in the billions on. They've got a great deal
(20:03):
with the a c C. Follow the money they're spending there.
They're invested in the SEC. They're happy. Sixteen team SEC.
I said it last night. I'll say till I'm blew
in the face. The only way the Big Tin or
the SEC is adding teams now is if Notre Dame
comes knocking on. They're doing well. But well, I brought
this up to you, Chris, you said this way. There's
(20:24):
no way this was gonna happen either. But I brought
up the Arizona schools, Arizona, Arizona State, obviously because of
the proximity geography though you didn't think that geography doesn't
make a difference whatsoever. But also the Phoenix market, I
mean didn't not a top ten market. I'm in radio.
I think it's a top ten market, high population, Tucson
still with over a million. Matter of fact, Tucson is
(20:47):
like the biggest college town UM that doesn't have any
major sports. So I think there is some advantage of
bringing in those schools. And you know, I know you
don't want to split up the pie any more than
you have to. What is that going to be less
for each school? What are you talking about? You're not
going to the SEC Arnie Arizona, Arizona State to THEE
(21:08):
because it's about giving up like eight to ten million
dollars per teams at it if there is no If
there is one league where regionality does kind of matter,
it's the SEC. They're not going out to get U, C,
l A and USC, and I don't think they would have.
I don't think they were going to get in that game.
They're not jumping to get a Penn State. Now, if
Ohio State in Michigan came calling, that's a little different.
(21:31):
Regionality doesn't matter. But why in the hell no offense
to your alma mater? And you keep saying Tucson, I mean,
and there's no if there's professional sports all around, you
got the Cardinals, you got the diamond Backs, you forget.
I know it's easy to forget the diamond Backs, but Arnie,
more people are watching Washington State football that are watching
Arizona and Arizona State right now. That's the truth of
(21:53):
the numbers. And it's not about markets. It's about brands.
And I like the Arizona brand. I like the Arizona's
Nate brand. And how I don't think the PAC twelve
is dead. I think it can survive. But stop, can
we stop with the narrative that the SEC are the
Big ten and is going to invade the A c C.
(22:14):
There's a grand of rights. You want to try to
challenge it. You're gonna spend a lot of money in
courts um and you got it. Then a hundred and
twenty million dollar buyout per team. You know, I think
you're in the minority of that, because everybody expects there
to be more Super Conference, more teams added, not just
A c C teams. You know, you thought I brought
up the Arizona schools, you brought up Utah, Colorado of
(22:35):
what are they gonna do with Oregon Washington? That was
talking about Oregon and Washington going to the Big Ten.
But then as mostly Oregon can't separate from Oregon State,
maybe the same thing with Washington Washington State. UM, I'm
really not sure what the next move is going to be. Chris.
I'm I'm just as confused as everybody else out there.
Can I go back to my tease for this segment?
(22:55):
Calm down, dude, settled down. Notre Dame is the next
domino to fall, and if that domino doesn't fall, we're
gonna be here for a little bit. Because, like I
brought up last night, do you know what the playoff
plan is for after anyone, anyone not a clue. There
isn't one. There's no plan. The contract ends in Yeah.
(23:16):
But you see it's different. You're taught you're coming from
a school with Oklahoma that's going to the SEC. I'm
gonna school that's in the Pack twelve that's gonna be
up in Limbo, especially because we also have a great
basketball program also. And I know that really doesn't make
a difference right now, but it does. It really doesn't,
does it. There's no no cash at whatsoever. It just
(23:38):
sucks that, you know that schools like us in Washington
and Arizona State and I mean even Oregon, I mean,
they're gonna be insignificant for a chance to win a
championship because we're not part of the SEC of the
big TED. That seems insane. So when we come back,
I want to tell you why I think there's still
a seat at the table, because I came up with
a brilliant idea for playoff expand and you know what,
(24:00):
it might even involve sixteen teams instead of twelve. It
might involve your beloved number of sixteen. And we're no
one's invading the A C C. Not because they don't
want Clemson, not because they don't want Florida State or
Miami might not be a bad fit. Why would ESPN
ruin the best deal they've Well, if you did that,
you might as well just take every team from the
SEC to be in the playoff. Then, for crying out loud,
(24:22):
no no, no, call down, Calm down, Mr Negative, You've
got the big ten out there. Cincinnati made a four
team playoff last year. I'm telling you there's still a
seed at the table for these conferences, and I'll tell
you about it in a moment. But first, be sure
to catch live editions of The Jason Smith Show with
Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven pm Pacific. Hey,
(24:45):
it's been host of The Fifth Hour with Ben Mallery

I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast or wherever you get
your podcast, aren't in Plank on Fox Sports Radio? Can
we readdress this time? Because I hope you realize I'm
a believer in the PAC twelve on in its future.
I'm not trying to hate on anything. I'm just saying
(25:27):
you're hating feel I believe. I believe in the PAC twelve.
Al Right, Steve de Seger. Big update because listen, there's
a big man we need to talk about. What's our
update on Taco Fall. Yeah, big in height seven ft six,
you know, the big man from Illinois KOFE. Coburn did
not play Summer League for Utah tonight, but for the Jazz.
Taco Fall did and in seventeen minutes he had fifteen
(25:50):
rebounds and well points as well. In fact from u
c l A. Johnny Jus started for the Utah Jazz,
he had eleven points. Utah wound up winning against Dallas
eight two. If you didn't hear the earlier in the show,
the mention of the injury tonight, that rookie from Ohio
State e. J. Ladell of the Pelicans that can have
to have an m R I on his right knee
(26:11):
as he went down in obvious pain earlier, and the
reports were that although it's being called the right knee brain,
he really couldn't put any weight on the leg as
he was going off the court. Now, guys, I ran
across a sports story tonight that absolutely must be a
sports documentary in years down the road, or perhaps even
a full length feature film. The headline is fake Indian
(26:36):
cricket league conned Russian Better I saw this story. The
story is amazing. You gonna love this. It is astounding.
The Times of India had it originally and it's now
been printed and passed along all around the world. There's
a remote village in India that created a phony league.
They called themselves the Indian Premier League, just to defraud
(26:58):
the remote audience watching the fake games. The Russian betters.
To pull this off, they hired over twenty farm laborers
and unemployed us from the village, got them cricket uniforms,
played fake matches in front of five high def cameras,
string the games on YouTube, and then most importantly, set
up an account where they accepted bets from different Russian cities.
(27:23):
They managed to get all the way to the quarterfinal
stage of their so called league before the police top
play And you don't think I could pick at sixty
seven percent? Now play Because the gamblers from Russia were
placing bets on a channel set up by these criminals.
What they would do They would receive the bet, of
(27:45):
course it was on their site, and then with walkie
talkies they would alert the fake umpire on the field. Okay,
this batter needs to be out, the next batter needs
to be hit. This stuff like that. Police arrested four
people in connection with the case. Apparently betting on cricket
in India is illegal. Apparently having a fake league and
doing this is also. But the thing is to add
(28:08):
validity to the broadcast. They even added artificial crowd noise.
In fact, the site the comeback in this great article
said they even enlisted a fake commentator who mimiced the
voice of a famous Indian cricket announcer sports. The guy
(28:31):
who is the core co organizer of this illegal activity
had worked for eight months in a Russian pub that's
apparently famous for taking bets, so he handled the setting
up of the playing service, the hire of the fake players,
assembling realistic looking uniforms. Another guy who had met in
Russia was also a mastermind behind this astounding So we
(28:54):
wind up with the newspaper headline fake cricket league dupes Russians.
It's just the faith basketball we can do that. We've
seen you on the video it is. Yeah, I got
my basketball game tomorrow. Look at Facebook. You've you've got it.
During the break, during the top of the hour, I'm
go look at the pictures. It's hilarious story. Seriously, they've
(29:16):
got to flesh this out in one of those documentations.
The sale of the Broncos is due to be completed
this summer, pending a formal vote of the league's team owners.
Joining the new Denver Broncos ownership group is Condoleeza Rice,
the former secretary. That's unbelievable. Yeah, I think she's done. Okay,
let's look, she went to high school and college in Denver.
(29:36):
By the way, and as we alerted people last night,
the story was true. Out of Pittsburgh, the Steelers Stadium
is no longer known as Hines Field thanks to a
new naming right steal. It is now Acrashuer Stadium in
Pittsburgh comes right off the tongue, just like the new
Lakers name. What is it again at Kresher Stadium, or
(29:57):
as our Isaaclowan trush this afternoon, it's more like Accrea, sure,
that's the name. NFL rookies will start reporting to training
camps on July eighteenth, That is exactly one week away,
and the NFL's deadline for franchise tag players to sign
long term deals is Friday. And by the way, there
was a woes report on ESPN that the NBA Board
(30:19):
of Governors is due to vote on the play and
Tournament tomorrow to make it permanent, and the board is
also expected to penalize the so called take foul on
fast breaks. The offense would get a free throw and
possession of the ball. Meanwhile, the summer league schedule in
Vegas goes through Sunday night. And yes, US women's soccer
did get a late goal to beat Mexico one nothing tonight.
(30:41):
The US record in the overall series against Mexico now
forty and one with one tie. The US has won
the last sixteen head to head meetings against him and
outscored them in those sixteen games to four. Good stuff
to se Conda Liza Rice net worth, according to celebrity
net worth dot com, twelve million dollars. There you go.
(31:04):
That doesn't sound like that. So now, I mean, it's
not like she's putting a billion in on it. I'm
sure she's not the Walmart person in the group. She's
just the GPS in the group, A couple of mills. Alright, Hey,
the Bonus Hour is coming up next. We got some
new age NBA debates for your next on Fox Sports Radio.
