(00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Greetings, Welcome inside, Happy Friday,
Jason Smith Show with my bass friend Mike Harmon. I
should say Happy CFL Friday. A lot of big CFL
action tonight, and maybe because it's CFL Friday. Toronto's got

(00:46):
twenty seven against the Red Sox in the sixth inning
and they're threatening with two on and one out. The
Blue Jays are on top of the Red Sox. Yes,
you heard the score right. It is twenty seven to three.
The game is only in the top of the sixth inning.

(01:06):
The Blue Jays scored seven in the third and eleven
run five as part of their runs tonight. Everybody in
the starting lineup has at least two hits and two
runs scored. This is where we're at. You have two
players with six RBI on the night you have an
inside the Park Grand Slam, and you have the overall

(01:26):
run record in a game being threatened right now with
two on and two out and to three lead, and
the Blue Jays are gonna about three more times after this. Oh,
it's so much fun. How chaotic is this? By the way,
what was the center fielder doing on that inside the
Park grand He he lost the ball, but he lost

(01:47):
the ball and then he quit. He was trying out
for the White Sox. Oh. I don't even know what
that means. I like, how now you're just throwing jazz.
It's just for the hell of it. It's like, what
does that even mean? If you're gonna reference something specific?
Have at it's fried, you know. But look, you know,
on the inside the Park Grand Slam, you can see
him look up, he can't find the ball, and the

(02:09):
ball lands behind him on the warning track and then
he just turns and watches. It's the points like he
doesn't he doesn't move. It's like, you got me, good one.
Good on hey, looking back to the infields, like good one,
you got me on that one? Like, well, why are
you not trying to still make a play? Yeah? That

(02:29):
was I mean you just watching. Oh yeah, what do
you want me to do? I didn't get it? I
mean I just did what. I mean, what else can
I do? I'm gonna watch for Dugo has gotta run
other over from left field to get the ball, and
and and topy of winds up with a grand slamming.
This is this is some kind of game right now.
One in the first, two, in the second seven, and
the third four and the fourth, eleven in the fifth,

(02:50):
and now too in the sixth inning. And here's the
problem is Gossman is still gonna have to come out
of the game early because he's pitches. Well, he he
made it through five. He'll get there, you know. But
it's but it's coming in. But it's one of those
games you're like, all right, nice and easy, just you know, whatever,

(03:12):
whatever we need to do. Just keep the line moving.
We can really save our bullpen nopeches through five. You
can't have somebody else come in. Listen. I don't care
how you can give up ten runs. You're staying in
the game. Okay, great, alright, alright, very good. Bruce Hurst
is gonna be coming in the game for the Red
very very good, you know, And that's the thing now,
is that you've given up twenty seven runs. Can you

(03:34):
bring in a non picture at this point if you're
the Red Sox and and have to worry about giving
up more than thirty runs in the game, or at
this point do you care? Well, you don't want to
have the record set against you. You You don't want to
have the most most runs and oh yeah, now you're
gonna fight fiercely after giving up twenty seven. Hey, let's
not give up three more. Okay, well it's my guys,
small victories. Yeah, it's like you coaching your daughters sucker softa.

(03:58):
We're getting blitz. But you know what, don't give up
that extra run. Hey, hey, let's get a good fourth
quarter going into the next game. Okay, let's get a
good really have that momentum going, Kidney come on to
one d seven to three, the Blue Jay still batting
with two on, two out in the bottom of the
sixth inning. I mean, this is just it started out

(04:20):
like a blood like, Okay, it's fifteen nothing, it's oh
oh no, no, no now, it's oh now, it's oh now,
it's now it's three, you know, and you have to
have the CFL joke because you know, Toronto doesn't have
an NFL team unless you want to count the Bills
as being because of the proximity. But you need the
big CFL joke. Can't have an NFL joke. No, that's
that's pretty well done. I like that because you need

(04:40):
the ruge right now. Mac Jones coming out of this
game for the Socks and clearly the no offensive and
defensive coordinator not working for the Patriots in New England
during this game against the Argonauts DJ. Now, there is
one one thing out of the CFL that's kind of
interesting today, and I mean, I have no idea what

(05:03):
what it all sound like, and but I'm absolutely uh intrigued.
Is that you've got the Winnipeg Edmonton game is being BROADCRAS,
but broadcast in the Cree language. Okay, Gonquin Indians like
across some of their their affiliates. I thought when you

(05:24):
said that, for a second, I'm like, wait, isn't that
the isn't that who? Uh what's his name? Wasn't Yeah? No? No, no, no, no,
no not not. I'm like, what you're talking about this?
So I did not go to the Marvel universe for
this one. Shape shifting and whatever. No, that was that
you meant? I'm like, what what what are you talking

(05:45):
to me about? Here? Yeah, that guy was pretending to
be Samuel Jacksons. Wait is that Sandbrady? Who? I don't
get who that is? What the voice kind of sounds well,
I'm not sure. It kind of sounds like it might
Well I'm not I don't Oh no, no it's not him.
That that's where I thought you were going with this. No,
it's good. I like that. We we got our Friday

(06:06):
Film Festival started early. Okay, off me just trying to
pass off a little bit of information based on a
CFL game that I saw a blurb on this morning.
I was like, oh, it's kind of cool. Ben Mendelssohn
is broadcasting this game in the Cree language. Uh. Now,
fight Frostberg has got an update on most runs allowed

(06:28):
in a game. What what do you got you? What
do you think the record is? It's thirty the records
not thirty. I thought the record. I thought, okay, run,
it's come. It begins with the first step and they
still have three at bats. Can you imagine they win
this game? That would be outstanding. I believe the record

(06:49):
is thirty six by the Chicago White Stockings. Okay, in
what year is that? Yeah? That was a long time ago. Yeah, Mike,
don't you have one the jerseys? I do? I'm sure
I do. Or I at least have a T shirt
that was Chicago's real n L team. Okay, wait, I

(07:10):
says hang on, it says here by the Chicago Call
and Burt Jones throwing yeah against the Louisville Colonels uh
in eighteen ninety seven. The modern record of thirty was
set by the Rangers against the Orioles in two thousand seven.
So thirty six overall third shut up? Well, otherwise you

(07:32):
have the New York going all the way back to
eighteen seventy four with a thirty eight one win over
the Chicago White Stockings. Wow, how come the White Stockings
are on the end of all these big pastings over
the over the history. Well, you know what, you start
a franchise and you're gonna take your lumps early. You
know what. I don't like the fact that we're stockings.
Why don't we just shorten it to socks. No one's

(07:54):
gonna buy that gear, you white socks. Not just stick
with the stockings. That's what's gonna work. Well, I mean,
stocking was the term of the time, Excellent Smiths days
like this. But I would walk down the streets of
manure Field, New York City as people would pass by
in their carriages and tip their tough pets as they
went to the uproar Simpson's Marvel Universe and manure Ready,

(08:21):
that's what they sounded like. Seven sixcellent smiths. Yeah, so four,
there's a meeting at the mound right now, there's not
but Toronto leads two in the first inning. The White
Red Sous got a man on first. All right, let's
let's make sure we don't let this get out of control.
I still can't get over Duran and basically just giving

(08:41):
up on a ball. Yeah, it was weird. He missed it,
you know what it landed right? Maybe he knew. Yeah,
he's now for three and he's down to two fifty
five on the after that, you gotta be bad. No,
I I would talk. I'm sorry, he's one for three,
but yeah, I would immediately It's like, dude, if you're
not gonna get any effort, get off, you know. But

(09:02):
what's the worst punishment benching the guy or making them
stay out there for the rest of this game. You're
gonna play all nine innings. Man, at this point it
is nine. It is a bit of suffering. There's no
you're gonna bring me into pitch. No, I'm gonna bring
you into catch. Put put your gear on and get
ready to go. There's your I do like that. But
the other thing that that that has to be stated
off the Red Sox pitching is that they're all being

(09:24):
equally battered and beating around like it's not they brought
in a reliever and suddenly and fixed anything. No, No,
that's Davis comes in, he gets tattooed for five r
and runs, or it comes in two thirds of an
any seven hits eight or runs Hernandez comes in two
thirds of an inning, six hits allowed for They may

(09:45):
just have, you know, put it, put a tea up
and let them just hit off the tea as they
or just have you have coach, can't be any worse.
We now, coach pitch is gonna were gonna. Coach is
gonna come in a pitch underhand to your son until
you swing the bat and get a hit. That's what
we're gonna happen. Just w you're bringing Schwarber's pitch or
in from the back from the down. Yes, the pictures

(10:06):
in the home run Derby could close this out for
the Toronto although you know what would be cool? You
know it would be cool. We can can can whoever
comes in for the Blue Jays get a three inning save.
You all three innings to get a save in a
four game? Can you get that? Could that happen? I
think that rule is there, isn't it. Yeah? I mean,

(10:28):
if you're the Blue you could bring in like Dave
Steve to come in and you know, and pitch three
innings and get get a one and get get a
three out save. I like that you just brought up
Dave Steve. They're wheeling in a TV but wires hanging
out the back to Alex Cora. Right now, we can
talk about how complicated other banks make it to redeem

(10:48):
credit card rewards, or we could talk about how we
discover you can redeem the rewards for cash in any
amount at any time. I mean, talk about amazing learn
more at discovered dot com slash redeemed rewards terms they
do apply. Well, we'll have more on this game as
it can, because we want to see if the Blue
Jays actually get to thirty uh thirty runs. I mean,
thirty is what I'm I want. I don't want to

(11:10):
see thirty. Thirty six is too my thirty six it's
too much to ask for. But one more time all
the way through, you know, I did, one more time
all the way through the lineup. They could get four
more runs and break that modern day record to get
thirty one. No, look, there's there's you're saying, there's a chance,
and we're we're the show of history in all sports

(11:31):
and big moments here on Fox Sports Radio, so it
has to happen here now. Two things. Number one, we
were told by face masks and face palms on Twitter
that we need to give our NERD cards back because
the scrolls were the aliens and the cree were hunting them.
Oh that's fine. I had the right thing at that day.

(11:53):
Right now. Now. The other thing is from w w
E SmackDown Friday nights on Fox. Uh is they Pat
McAfee brought up the beat down that the Blue Jays
were putting on the Red Sox because they're they're out
there for events and you know, says, what can you
score twenty five runs in baseball, and Michael Cole came back.

(12:15):
He goes, I'm a Mets fan. We don't do that
in two weeks. You know, Hey, Mets are losing tonight,
all in for Juan Soto. I mean, they scored one
run against the Padres. Forget about getting Vogel box. They
need more. They got a dump Alonzo and Lindore and
Marte and de Gram and go get Soto, all those guys,
Piazza track, everybody, Go get Soto, Tom Glavin, everybody. Yeah,

(12:40):
I mean you're generally done with de Gram anyway. So
be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart
Radio app Fox Sports Radio. The Jason Smith Show with
my best friend Mike Harmon. We could talk about how

(13:00):
complicated other banks make it to redeem credit card rewards,
or we can talk about how with Discovery you can
redeem your rewards for cash on any amount at any time.
I mean, talk about amazing learn more at discovered dot
com slash redeem rewards. That's discovered dot Com Slash redeem
rewards terms they do apply well, while w w e's
got Friday Night roll in a massive headline across the

(13:25):
world of sports tonight, Vince McMahon retiring as World Wrestling
Entertainment Chairman and CEO. He announced it earlier today in
a Twitter post. Uh, He's gonna be seventy seven years old.
He says it's time his daughter, Stephanie and current ww
president Ni Con taking over as co c eos. Uh.
Stephanie McMahon also will take over as chairwoman. Per the

(13:49):
Vince McMahon's statement, Now, this is a difficult day and
it's it's hard for me. I can't celebrate Vince McMahon
because why is he tiring? Well, there's no coincidence that
he had previously stepped down from his role as chairman
in the wake of the Big Wall Street Journal report
that revealed a ww investigation into a secret three million

(14:10):
dollar settlement given by McMahon to a former ww E paralegal.
Also reports that the board was investigating twelve million dollars
given to four former w w E employees or contractors
that silenced allegations about McMahon's sexual misconduct. This is where
the phrase complicated legacy is on display because I can't

(14:33):
sit here and and and and bask in the joy
of guys like Rick Flair and all the wrestlers who
were saying, hey, congratulations on your retirement. You you you know,
you made my life and my career, created this, And
I can't get on board with that because it's it's
about everything. Yes, he created something that has brought so
much joint entertainment and continues to bring so much joint

(14:55):
entertainment to everybody. But I can't just sportswash that, Oh yeah,
really he's retired. When did you ever think Vince McMahon
was gonna retire? Right? They had, They had kept people
from getting to the point where they could maybe take
over for him, So yeah, you thought he would go,
And now any coincidence he's retiring right after this happens.
Come on, I mean, you're putting two and two together

(15:16):
on this. It's hard, like, it's complicated legacies, and legacies
can be both good and bad. It's not you can't
just say, well, look what he did. It's only fair
if you say, yes, look what he did in in
in the w W, in the enjoyment that people get
out of it, an incredible product, but he's also this
guy too, right, I mean just asked j K Rowling, Right,
the legacy she had, what is she created for Harry Potter?

(15:38):
And then look at all the controversies she's gotten in
with their posts on social media about about transgender people. Uh,
it's it's hard. It's it's it's a complicated legacy. You
can't just use one without the other. I can't sit
here and say, well, I can only talk about how
great ww is, no, because then I'm doing a disservice
to to what else is going on. Also, the you know,
vice versa. The other way around is Okay, there is

(16:00):
there is this happening, that's a big deal. But boy,
so many people gain enjoyment from the w w E
and people who work on it and do things that
have never done anything bad, that that are out as
entertainers and then they've been working for a long time
to create a product that everybody enjoys. I mean, this
is what the phrase complicated legacy is all about. Yeah,
I mean certainly you reference Flair. I mean he's got

(16:21):
his history as well as you go through his bio
and all of his run ins through the years, and
the complicated Uh, legacy of one airline incident that that
is still part of the history of many of the
w w E superstars and and the wrestling world of

(16:42):
that era. Uh and and so for Vince McMahon, yeah,
it's it's I guess it's the context in which you're
bringing in the conversation. If we're talking about the life
as a whole, then absolutely right, it all comes in
and you're working on If you're running the SmackDown Show,
as Stephanie McMahon was today, what are you doing. You're

(17:02):
celebrating thirty plus years actually what forty years now of
global dominance in that space, many competitors, many other circuits,
some with different levels of success and some that flamed
out and eventually got bought up by the machine that
was World Wrestling Entertainment. But yeah, Vince McMahon, like, look,

(17:24):
even go back to the eighties and the characters, right,
different times and and certainly sensibilities about different things. But
you know, some of the characters that that ran amuck
in the rings would not pass the first round of
all right, what's your character's name? Nope, move on, you
know that kind of thing. So it's a completely different,
different space with Vince McMahon. These allegations and investigations are ongoing,

(17:50):
but Mcmcstephanie and and Con will move forward. Which is
interesting because you got two different people named Con running
the two biggest uh w A wrestling factions right our
houses as it were, and one of them is owned
by Shot Khan. How about that? So you know, you
look at where Vince McMahon is. Yeah, a lot of

(18:13):
great characters, a lot of great storylines, uh controlling, right,
there's a lot of negative that goes through. Go back
to the steroid accusations, and and then just look at
Vince's body in his seventies. If it's all natural, God
bless him. I don't think anybody's buying it. So you know,
it's it's all of those things that that flow through,
and so you know you can textualize it. Are we

(18:35):
talking about the wrestling biz and being happy to go
to Raw or SmackDown or WrestleMania when it comes to
l A next year? Then yeah, you celebrate the good
you you celebrate those bonding moments, uh, the fake wrestling
in your basement where one of you laid stunned just
a little bit long. Did we do that? Wrong? Did

(18:55):
we r did we do that wrong? Is he okay? Uh?
Those kind of thing We've all done it. I may
have been having a flashback to some personal experiences of
swinging neckbreakers as kids. But now we we look at
you know, the totality of the the underside of the
businesses and hopefully you know, there's some resolution. Uh and

(19:19):
whatever piece I guess is the word, you know for
those that had had been wrong and accusations been made
and hopefully as they do this due diligence, there aren't
any more names to come forward. Yeah, it's it's you know,
now is when you wonder what's next? Right? What what's
the next thing? Here? Is this something that the WW

(19:41):
moves on from? Is this something that continues on because
I don't know there's something that just goes away. I
don't know, something he retires and okay, we're done. It's
McMahon vits McMahon built the diets. It's his baby. I mean,
this is his thing, you know. I mean from from
being you know, from being behind the scenes to being
in front of the camera. Everything is him. So I
don't know that retiring if this is why he did it? Again,

(20:04):
we talked about the coincidental timing. I don't know if
this is just gonna end that or maybe there's I
don't know if there's just some sort of legal situation
where hey, if you step down, uh this, this won't
be something that stands in front of the w W anymore.
I mean that that's the that's the tough part. That's

(20:24):
a tough part that I don't know where this goes
next for for the w W as far as where
where their future and how it goes Yeah, I mean
part of it is like like anything, right, the that
we've talked about in the Sporting Universe, going back to
the Kaepernick situation and some of these other lawsuits that
we've had through the years of discovery, is where a

(20:45):
lot of the organizations don't want to go right the
settlement with Colin Kaepernick, which many people forget, you know,
they bring it up, and I've had that happen casual conversations,
you know where that that has brought up like oh,
I know, I know what you do. Okay, cool, let
me let me ask you about this, and then you
talk about the settlement like wait, they did what Like well, yeah,

(21:07):
and let's talk about legally why you would do that
because you have no idea what's coming out right as
you start going through paperwork, emails, text messages and you know,
memories et cetera for the w w E. That's where
they're at in this process trying to figure out is
that all there is? You know, also the veracity. I mean,
I guess they would have receipts of the wires or

(21:29):
checks or everything else that gets you to that twelve
million in that investigation, But you know, is there more
to be had because this is a guy that there's
no chance he wanted to retire. I think the first
um line that I saw and meme that was coming
out was a bit of Rick Flair kind of doing

(21:50):
his stick in the ring, going I'm not retiring. You know,
I'll die in this ring. And that's always what you
thought Vince McMahon would do, right, ever since you took
the company away from his old man all those years ago,
all right, and succeeded him and built it to the empire.
That it is like he's not going down one without
a fight, but too that he wouldn't just go quietly

(22:14):
into the good night. So you wonder what the other
legal shoe to drop is if there is one, or
if there it's enough of a negative thing because they
are a publicly traded company that maybe the board of
directors that everybody looked around going all right, while this
doesn't go away, it can't be in the forefront because

(22:34):
every time he shows up in a ring or in
a vignette with austin theory, you know, his protege that
he's had running in one of the arcs they've been
building for all these months, that it's going to renew
more news items, more social media, et cetera, and it
counteracting whatever good you're trying to build in storylines and

(22:56):
new characters. Well, you know, And that's the interesting thing
Jason Smith Show with my Carmen talking about Vince McMahon,
is that is he gonna be visible? Like it just
be like if he steps down, is he still gonna
be the visible frontman of the WW or does he recede?
You know that that's the big part of it too,
like because I I can't believe he's gonna step down

(23:17):
and not get out of the spotlight for a while. No,
But that's the thing, right because otherwise he would have
done instead of a statement he would have opened SmackDown
tonight if the character was going to continue, because remember
when the allegations showed up, he was on SmackDown and
he welcomed everybody to the show and then just walked

(23:37):
and you know, introduced whoever the first wrestler was, and
then did his tagline about you know, forever together and
that that has become the mantra and the tag at
the end of the the opens to those shows, you know,
And it's also the easiest way to let the ww

(23:58):
go forward. All right, This is this is one person's
leadership for now the last you know, forty five years
basically that we've talked about since it became a a
big since it became a a big deal, right, because
wrestling was always kind of a cult sport in the seventies,
but then we got to the eighties and the very
first time when Hulk Hogan won the w WF championship,

(24:20):
that was the birth of the modern age of wrestling.
And now you're going on on forty years of it, right,
But at some point you need new ideas, new ways
to do things, and if you're hanging over everything, how
are you going to really go forward? You know? This
is where this this is. This is like one of
those uh, like yellow Stone or like one of those
like primetime family dramas where the patriarch finally retires and

(24:45):
after six or seven seasons of it, Okay, now the
one of the kids is gonna run it. And can
that person stay out of it and trust the vision
of the next person who's running, because that's the only
way you really go forward. Like that's why people retire that. Okay,
you're done it. It's great, you want to come around
and wave to people once in a while. People are right,
but you need that, you need the new leadership to
go forward, and especially with the stigma that's now on

(25:08):
it coming off of the legal situation with Vince McMahon. Yeah,
I think you kind of want him to stay out
of the limelight for a while, and you push Stephanie McMahon,
she's number one, and she gets involved in more storylines
and wherever else you want to go from there. This
is how you do it. And now it's because so
I so I feel going forward, and I think it's
the best strategy. He resigns and you don't see him

(25:29):
for a while, and whatever plays out plays out, and
and Vince's retired, Stephanie's doing all the pr She's more
of a public figure than she has been. And that's
how you're going forward. That's kind of what I see
after this, both for the good of of w W
going forward, for the business, and for the image of
the of the product. Yeah. So for for Stephanie obviously
a long run in the ring. Uh. Married to Triple

(25:53):
h uh, and they've been running a lot of the
creative for for years. Here she had taken a brief
leave of absence and then returned when all of this
really started to swell, uh and the allegations expanded. So
uh curious of the vision right next generation? Uh? Good

(26:14):
old SHANEO. Mac isn't around right now. Shane McMahon as
part of things one of the great characters of all time.
If you didn't watch any of that stuff Smith, go
back and entertain yourself with with well, you know, I'm
not kidding. I'm just gonna come back to the old
old rule of thumb of if if I'm a six

(26:36):
five guy weighing three twenty and so and I still
have to pretend right quote fake wrestling, that I still
have to be lifted and take my back to a
couple of couple of thousands of those. Uh, I'm gonna
need some fusion after a while. You allow yourself to
get put in the figure four leglock and tell me
if that doesn't hurt, Like hell, you allow yourself to

(26:59):
do go oh my, I heard the first time I
did their friends. Let me put you in. It will
just be first second, I'm like, yea, yeah, you don't
how to do. Oh my god, that's her. Oh my god,
that hurts. Oh yeah, god, that hurts. No, there's no
question about it. I mean you give a big woo
and then you put that together. Now it's about flexibility
and well, size of your legs. I mean one spot,
it's you know, flexibility and making that work is is

(27:21):
a whole different thing. But you know, just the for
the story and creative of it all. I mean, they've
they've got to take it in another direction, certainly to
help the stock price. But for Stephanie, she's been around
in her whole life. It's kind of like the Winning
Time series. Going back to gen Bus, right, you grew

(27:42):
up in this. Uh and unfortunately that also means you
know where the seed underbellies of a lot of this are,
and you know some of the storylines back in the
day she was part of that. We're a bit salacious
along the way. So it's it's curious because they did
go back to a TV fourteen uh for RAW as

(28:03):
of this last Monday, So curious if we're gonna get
another attitude era that enters. Be sure to catch live

(28:48):
Show with my bass friend Bike Harman. Happy Friday, and
how about some really fun good NFL stories? How about
three good ones? Okay, in the next few minutes, I'm
gonna get you with three good ones. My car when
you're ready for this. In the last twenty four hours,
we have seen three teams debut what will be new

(29:09):
helmets for the two seasons. The NFL has said, hey,
we're gonna relax the the rules a little bit and
allow everybody to have a couple of different helmets. And
it was kicked off by the Cowboys yesterday. And we
had new helmets from the Jets today and the Bengals.
And let me tell you first of all, the Cowboys

(29:29):
helmet they're gonna wear on Thanksgiving, the white helmet with
just the blue star. That looks outstanding. That is a
that is your throwback helmet to the sixties, because it's
not modernized at all. Just this is the helmet, right,
it's it's it's the it's the it's the white with
the blue. It's not the one that they used to
wear like when Jason Garrett was playing quarterback in the

(29:51):
nineties and Aikman where it was the blue star, but
it was outlined that it was a No, this looks
like the same helmet that they wore, and that's gonna
be an outstand Look, that's a nine on a scale
of one to tendive. One is awful. Idea and throw
it back and ten is the best could possibly be.
I'll give the Cowboys a nine. How much merchandise can
we sell if we have an altern in helmet. If

(30:13):
I could sell helmets that were made of less, would
people buy them, uh and and wear them? Or or
would they have to be like more out of mesh?
I like people people like the truck or the trucker hats.
Now can I make a truck or helmet? Could that
where I could be people kind of like that, they
like that look. I don't know. I come up with
a nice design to emblematic of the helmet, you know,
like we used to have those painter caps and stuff

(30:36):
where it looked like the helmet, right you have the
stripe running down the Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I can
get out boy. I bought one of those. Let's go
And is that is so nineties? That look with the
helmets that on the side. Uh so yeah, So give
me a nine on that. The Jets new helmet, which
is black on black, black with a little bit of green. Oh,

(30:57):
that's an eight. You can't screw up black black. It's
really difficult. It looks fine that the Jets logo with
the football I saw the way the way it was
modeled today. No, I like it. That's not as good
as Cowboys. But that's an eight. You can't know it's
it's one of those. It's one of those things though
that if I'm doing like a project runway grading of it,
I graded them down because they took the easy path.

(31:19):
They're just going black on black. Hey, dude, we're the Jets, Okay,
that's there's a reason why they're taking the easy path.
I'm not grading on the curve, although I do like that.
It's called stealth black. Yes, the stealth black is good.
I'll tell you man. That's a that's a good look.
That's a cleanland that they call that. That's a clean look.
That is an The helmets will be worn in the

(31:41):
following three home games. October against the Patriots to Brickishaw
Ferguson into the Ring of Honor. Okay, November against the Bears,
Reevers into the Ring of Honor. December against the Jaguars
Day Night Football, and then we'll win that game because

(32:02):
it's well, we gotta have something for thirty. It's the
Jets and the Jacks on Thursday in December. Who knows
what we're gonna get Let's let's do the black uniforms.
At least they'll look nice. Let's do that. Let's have
that going, and then have the NFL shop logo everywhere.
Oh yeah, you give the new Stealth merchandise live is
part of our Amazon shopping experience here Thursday night in football,

(32:25):
and you start doing it like it's home shopping. It's like,
all right, we're gonna take it out of the booth.
What do you got over there? Well, we for a
limited time, just for at ninety No, we're gonna give
it to you now for seventy nine. But you gotta
call now. Operators are standing by, uh and what we
thought was coming for a while and now is here.

(32:45):
And it looks as glorious as it was recommended. The
Bengals new white helmet with the black stripes looks just awesome.
I mean, that's that's that's that's like almost a ten like.
I mean, look, any time you paid tribute to Siegfried
and Roy such a glorious level like that, I mean,

(33:06):
you're winning over the public. Yeah no, no, no, the
white tiger helmet is pretty cool. I gotta I I
really do enjoy that one. But it's just such a
great look. You can imagine I'm with the white uniforms
the Bengals have. Oh my god, that just looks outstanding.
It doesn't it doesn't matter. You could lose games like that,
like thirty five six, but boy, they look good losing

(33:27):
that game. Oh yeah, those helmets look really good running
up and down the field. Is you know my homes
was throwing ten touchdowns against them? No? That I mean
that is That's about as as good a new look
as you could possibly have. I'll give a nine point
five out of ten on that. Well, one went full white,
the other ghost full black. So uh, and then you

(33:47):
got the white helmet of the cob. How about little
splash of color here? Boys? Anybody in those rooms, anybody
want to give us something rainbow disco patterns, something disco
stuzzo as some uzzo for tuzzo. How about that Thanksgiving
Day game? You've got a helmet that looks like a

(34:09):
disco ball, All right? Why not? Right? If you can
make it look, if you can make it look sparkly
and nice, why not get out and John to come
out and perform at halftime and away we go. I
want to see sparkly and nice. I like that Twitter
And how about a fresca Mike gets swollen. Don the
Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon. There's
your grade. Eight for the Jets, nine for the Cowboys,

(34:30):
nine and a half of the bank. What about the Eagles? Uh?
The Eagles? How much a nice do it? We got?
We we got time to get to the Eagles helmets.
We got time to get to the Eagles helmets. We'll
do that coming up. NEX. We've gotta build out the
entirety of this runway show. We'll have that. End the
trade mess the Lakers have made. This is Fox
