Workers holding holiday visas can now fly into the country without having to isolate if they’re fully vaccinated.
Fruitgrowers Federation director Leon Stallard told Mike Hosking they’re optimistic the changes are a step in the right direction.
“I would hope to think so that we can get back to some normality. I mean, that’s what everybody’s pinning the future on, that’s for sure, that we can get some backpackers into the country to help us out at our critical time.”
