What went on with the Mount Victoria bus tunnel closure overnight?
At first there were reports some of the tunnel roof came down on a bus. But it was more likely to be falling branches.
But the plot thickens. It's not obvious those branches are from pre-existing trees.
Richard MacLean, the spokesperson for the Wellington City Council, shares his thoughts on the matter.
