The Free Speech union has written to the Police Commissioner about Saturday's events, as they believe the actions of the counter-protestors go beyond exercising free speech.
Free Speech Union chief executive Jonathan Ayling says the union has always condemned violence, be it at the protest at Parliament or this weekend's rally.
