Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jason pine Sports store coasters. If they're now Piney hallo,
Heather Piney. Yes, England thinks they're going to beat the
All Blacks?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Are they Do they think that? Do they think that?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
That's what they're saying, that's what they're saying.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Well, I guess there are chants. I don't think their favorite.
I don't think any team that comes to New Zealand
to play the All Blacks is favorite.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
No.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Well, yeah, they've got to get to Dunedin first, so
I guess they could look if they're going to target
one the target the first test, wouldn't they They've coming
off the back of a win over Japan, the All
Blacks are getting together for the first time under a
new coaching regime, and you know history tells us that
the first All Blacks test of any year is never perfect.
So I guess they know they're probably rightfully optimistic. I

(00:41):
don't think they'll beat the Orbs. I think the All
Blacks will win. Both test matches are starting this weekend
in Dunedin.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Do you reckon it'd be the first case of nerves
that Raises had in years?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah, I reckon, I reckon it will all tummy, Yeah, yeah, yeah, look,
he I was really interested to watch him at the
All Blacks launched last week. He's clearly very very comfortable
sort of dealing with the public, but in a more
formal situation. When he got up on the stage and
had to sort of give a speech and that sort
of thing a lot more formal, it was just slightly

(01:11):
slightly less Razorlike for me, it was interesting to watch him.
But then had him on the radio on Saturday, very relaxed,
shorts and T shirt and yeah, really sort of outlining
his vision for the year. So yeah, I reckon, he'll
be nervous. You would be, wouldn't you if a job
you've wanted your whole life.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Gate nervous out because everybody was like, yere's the guy.
You got it, Like we rolled somebody for you. You
better be good, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
That's right. Were already getting calls as well on the show. Look,
I'm not sure about Razor. I quite feel like we
should give him a chance to have at least one
gauge before we make any judgment.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Calls, you know, they were in your expectations, so that
you can only be surprised on the upside, which I
quite what about their bicycle kick?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Was that impressive? Yeah? I like that? Yeah, Jude Bellingham. Look,
they were terrible England this morning, as they have been
for most of this tournament. They were thirty seconds away
from going home before Bellingham pulled that out and then
England got a second goal and they're through to the
quarter finals. They really have to up their game, if
you know, if the famous catch cry it's coming home
is actually going to happen. But yeah, Jue Bellingham, wonderful player,

(02:13):
terrific goal. They're through. Maybe it doesn't matter how they
did it, just that they did it. So we'll wait
and see how they go against Switzerland on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
So have you decided that we need to replace Shawan
Johnson with to Mighty Martin Montly?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I look astounding.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I just want to lay this out for you. Okay,
So this is nothing against Sean Johnson, you know at all.
The guy is a legend. However, there was a slump
in the season while he was playing. He goes off
for three weeks to Mighty Martin's in the Space. They
win three weeks, He comes back for two weeks, they
lose for two weeks, goes away to Mighty Martin's in
charge and they win again. I mean that's a pattern.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Well, it is, and I think one thing we have
to obviously be aware of here is that Shawn Johnson's
clearly not one hundred percent fit. They've tried to rush
him back twice and now they need to wait until
he is fit. You're dead right about Tom Marty Martin
in partnership with Janelle Harris Tavita very good. The pair
of them have played three games together and won all three.
So clearly we've inadvertently probably landed on the harves combo

(03:10):
going forward for the Warriors. And it's a very very
interesting case of player management. When Shawn Johnson is fit,
and I say when he is fit, when he's one
hundred percent fit, does he come straight back in or
do you stick with what's working for you if indeed
it continues to work for you.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
This is the conundrum. Aye, Thank you so much, mate,
appreciate it. Jason Pine Sports Stalk Coast.
