Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jason pine Sports Talk Coasters with me now Piney, Hello, Heather,
are you freaking out about the puppy?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
No, No, I wish we'd won one of the two tests.
I think we all wish we'd probably won both of them.
But I think we need to accept that South Africa,
for starters, are a very good rugby team. We need
to accept that front and center. They're world number one
for a reason, and I was entirely impressed with the
way they played for large parts of both Test matches.

(00:29):
I think there are some questions for the All Blacks
to answer internally and probably show us against Australia in
the next two Test matches that they've learned some lessons.
The thing that gets thrown out a lot, and I've
seen I'm sure you've seen it. It's this inability to
score points in the last twenty minutes. It's four Test
matches now in the Rugby Championship where the All Blacks
haven't got a point, a single point in the final

(00:51):
quarter of any of those four matches. Used to be
our strength here to remember, we used to bring people
off the bench and run over the top of teams.
Hasn't happened into the kicking.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
That was towards the end.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
That was ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I mean a year eleven boy could have kicked better
than that.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Well, well, Damien McKenzie should have kicked that, should have
kicked the penalty which would have put us in front.
And you know, yearly, you really can't leave points out
there in such tight test matches. These were you know,
these weren't thrashings at all. Certainly it wasn't like the
Ardgents Indians being the Wallabies, but the South Africans won
the big moments and and test matches often swing on

(01:28):
small on Sorry they won the small moments if I
can put it that way, but they become significant moments
if you can achieve them. And Damien McKenzie not not
not kicking all of his goals became significant in a
test when he lost by what six points?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah, it's a very good point.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I mean he does really need to.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
But I was also talking about the South African kicker
they brought in at the enchees. I mean one of
those ones went way. It made me feel better, do
you know what I mean about my skills?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yes? Yeah, yeah, that one was probably more of a
year eleven ability kick yes, it.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Was a shocker. Okay, So this cricket match has been
delayed because the rain.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Is it? Yeah, yeah, soggy outfield and all that toss
not on time. This is Afghanistan against New Zealand being
played in India. Only test between these two. Then New
Zealand play two against Sri Lanka and three against India.
So it's the start of a six Test kind of
stretch for the black Caps. Yeah, hopefully they'll get some
play underway. Feels a bit funny watching Test cricket in September,

(02:22):
but I mean, I'm a red ball fan. I'm going
to be locked and you locked in to this, Heather.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
I had producer ants come in here and turn it
on for me, and I'm looking at it right now,
and I tell you what, that pitch looks dry. It
looks like it looks like it could do with a
bit of rain.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Actually, yeah, it's funny. That's like the asient, the subcontinent,
the weather, the weather patterns can be you know, quite
changeable quite quickly, can't they. So it might be that
if it stops raining, it drives pretty quickly. Let's hope
we get some Test cricket because it's always better to
have that than not have it. Heather, I reckon.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Crickety Hey, thank you for that, Pine, he really appreciate it.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
