Speaker 1 (00:01):
Mandanie's one. So he is now the mayor of New York.
So we'll have a chat to our US corresponder, Jonathan
Curzley about that. Shortly eighteen past four, sport with tab
power plays better unlock bigger odds are eighteen bet responsibly.
I think I'm feeling high. I'm feeling a Darcy water
Grave sports stook hoasters me and I think both of
us are feeling high.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I cannot wait to read Donald Trump's social media now
that he's been that bloke's been both. This is going
to be hilarious. It really is. It's circus stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
That's not why we're feeling high now.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
No, we're feeling high because I've got this really odd
concept that if I do lots of twenty to twenty
five push ups throughout the day, I'll hit one hundred,
one hundred and twenty five push ups a day. Extrapolate
that through the week, close on a thousand push ups
a week. Now, that's got to be good for your
muscles and your definition. And so Heather drops down and
she busted out twenty is. I'm impressed with that was

(00:54):
really good. But now you're gagging for breath.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Well, I haven't done twenty press ups in a long time,
so I've had a hit, got a head rush.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Wow, look at that, you know, snort, paint what we want.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I'm not even gonna lie what we want as a
shirtless photo by the end of the year, well of me. Yeah,
if you're doing a thousand press ups, it's got.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
To be awesome. Yeah. Well, I've got to work out
my stomach exercise as well. It was all very well
having a good upper body, but if your rings or fat.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Don't you do the crunches and then the extension.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I got all sorts of things around with at home. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Anyway, okay, so the black Caps playing tonight? You're going tonight?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
No, because I work from seven to eight. By the
time I get in my car and then drive back
up to Eden Park and then get to the game,
it's been going for an hour and forty five minutes.
So I was like, I kind of miss half, So no,
I don't. I'll be watching it on Della, like going to.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Good Weather for it.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah. Huge, And finally Summer's funny turned up. It's magic
en cricket to be pleased as Barrett Jordy Barrett's coming
home he's got a couple of twinges, he high ankle spraying,
a bit of a need problem. But he's not going
to stick around the Northern till which makes sense. He's
been playing almost constantly for that. I don't know how long.

(02:09):
Clark laid Law, the Hurricanes coach, is like, well, he
probably needs a rest. He probably does. And I think
that he'd rather be there because he's looking around and
going les.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
He was playing over there in the Six Nations, wasn't
he or just in the clubs?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
No, No, he's playing. He is playing, not playing.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Nations International, but he was, and so he played that.
What he's been playing that and then comes straight back
for the tests.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Yeah, and now he's doing this and now he's a
bit broken. So he'll come home, he'll recover, he'll enjoy
the Takawa and the beach and fish and chips and
Alan b and hopefully to go to the gym too
and do lots of press up so it doesn't turn
to slop and then and then be back for the
start of the Hurricane season.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
We can ask him for a shirtless photo and start
out starting.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I think people would much rather see him shirtless than
me at the grand old age of level fifty six.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Okay, go on the Venus Williams.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
How good?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
What do you think.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Forty five years old? And she's still playing and playing
pretty well. She seated, she's going to be a wild card.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Okay, no seage.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Come over. This will be this the seventh time she's
played over here. Loves the place, really enjoys the place
and wants to come back. And when you've got a situation,
there used to be restrictions around the seeded players you
could have, and the women's draw has gone now, so
have her over they want if they want to come over.
Men's slightly more restricted. But those full draws are coming

(03:35):
out for the females and for the males mid December.
I think one's a week and then a week later
the second one, so we'll know more. Nico or Nicholas Lambern,
who's the tournament director, He joins the program Sports Talk
later on tonight to tell us more about how they
got hold of Venus yet again, how much it costs them,

(03:57):
whatever other questions I can load out, I'll let you
know about that. But it's a great call. It's a
very popular tournament. What it says to me is that
people love going to New Zealand. You know it's going
to have a roof in a year and a bit.
Haven't better? I know?

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Listen. Have you read the BBC a piece about the
Battle of the Sexes with Nick Karrios harmless entertainment or
damaging to women's sport? Have you read that?

Speaker 2 (04:21):
No? I haven't. Wait should I go and have a
read of it? So? What is it? Is? Its playing?
What against? A woman's playing against? What's the faceblinga? I
don't know? Is that damaging or is it fun?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Well, let's find out and I read that next what.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
You please do? Drop and give me ten sports talk host.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
