the NFL works, and we've seen it.

You brought it up a couple of times that like
when you draft a quarterback and if he doesn't work,
the best way to do it is just to like
do like the Cardinals did a couple of years ago.
They took Josh Rosen, he was an absolute bust, and
then they took Kyler Murray.

It helped to get the number one overall pick.

My point though, is is we might start seeing that
with coaches like Aaron Glenn of the New York Jets
is in way over his head that yesterday the announcers
were poking fun at how disorganized that team is.

I think they had twenty penalties in that game, and
you just see. I think we're gonna find where some
of these guys are just gonna move on from these
head coaches, these owners. I know they don't like to
lose money, but like I would bet Miami fires their
head coach. I think our guy, Kevin Stefanski is going
to be the fall guy for the Deshaun Watson bit,

Like they're just gonna have to move on from him.

They're bad. They're one and four. Their offense is so bad.

I think yesterday saved side. I think that's saved the
Titans head coaching job. Pete Carroll's Raiders look just brutally bad.
The New York Giants guy is not good. There's gonna
be a lot of coaches fired this year.

Yeah, but there's a lot of those places too that
you take that head coaching job, you know what you're
getting into. You know that this okay, the organization sucks,
your players are probably bad, you know, so you're gonna
go and you just want to be a head coach. Yeah,
because that will, you know, keep your career going and
you'll get another opportunity because once you have done it,
then people are like, home, we can bring him in

as an offensive coordinator and then a year later he
gets another gig.

But I mean it's it's not like you can be
like Kevin O'Connell comes into a team that was already
pretty good.

But I think with Stefanski, a guy that's won coaching
the year twice, you let him play out the string.
I just don't think you can have in the middle
of the year.

No, No, Carson wentz twenty five to thirty four for
two hundred and thirty six yards and a touchdown, a
one oh two point one.

Yeah, passer rating so very gutsy.

I do think everybody going to be on McCarthy watch, though,
just because we have thirteen days. Wentz played well in
his stint as as a starter thirty six, but to
the level that you can't go back to the kid.

Like, if they want to go back to him, I
don't think everybody's going to be pissed.

If people want to argue Wentz, that's fine as well.

But I think if they go back to JJ, I
don't think Carson like said, you cannot give it back
to the kid because I've been an unstoppable for us.

I think he's been really good. I think solid. I
think Wentz has been good.

I think the thing you're going to see is they
will probably go back to McCarthy. McCarthy was the plan
all along, but I think the leash is way shorter
than it would be for a first time starter because
they know what that Wentz can win them games.

In the right situation.

I think they're going to go back to McCarthy, but
I don't know if it's as long of a leash
for McCarthy as as it should be, or would be
a bet to get healthy before I really will be
for I think Carson can take that hit, he can
actually play well in a system like that.

I don't know if a rookie can actually I just
I didn't. I don't see JJ McCarthy playing as well
standing in the pocket as long as Carson Wentz in
this last game especially, and it was awesome because if
you look at that before we played the game, the
Browns defense so good they'd only give up it was

an average of two hundred and twenty two point five yards.
That was all that they were giving up, and we
went for three forty nine.

I just to me, it just seems that you keep

you could argue they're the best team in football. Right,

with injuries. They are kind of the AFC equivalent of us, Right,
but somehow we've got to beat up on a couple
of subpar teams and we're three and two.

think about our injuries and worth three and two?

Right, But hey on, you also might be downplaying it. Right,
It's still the Eagles. The Years are going to be
favored over the Vikings. Still I haven't looked. My guess
is the Eagles are going to be favored. Oh yeah,
I would bet you're going to be dogs against the
Eagles again, injuries aside, you're going to be dogs against
the Chargers.

You're going to be dogs at the Lions, and sure
the Ravens are falling apart, but that's a month from now.

So you could argue we're going to be dogs for
the next four weeks. So it is still a gauntlet, right.

the Bears, and you go at green Bay at Seattle
hosting Washington at Dallas, at New York, Giants hosting Detroit
hosting green Bay. There's not a lot of free passes

of the rest of the two or three at the
most Giants. The Giants are horrible football team, sure, but
that's also Sunday, December twenty. First, if you get your
ass kicked before that that game, you might be out
of it.

was seventeen sixteen.

Scored a touchdown, could have kicked the extra point and
tied it at seventeen. But with like seven or so
minutes to go, they, like Peyton's like, we're not guaranteed
to get the ball back because.

They went for two and put themselves up eighteen to
seventeen and then got the field goal on top of that.
But still, that was an interesting, very modern choice of
Sean Pratton to say, we're going for two. We're not
just trying to tie the Eagles. We need to win
this thing, right display for dogs. Management love it and
he great calls.

What were your thoughts on the sideline? Who are you

We've been pretty much game planning all week, kind of
working in that riz on this area because I think
that's obviously with Kle kind of having inphasis on just
trying to you know, we're going to be in those
one of those games gonna come down to that last possession,
and man, we bet a person to go to three
and we got three and eighteen on that.

Man.

Listen, we got a lot of options in that eighty seven.
You name it. I'ms the guy we came out with

You know, we talked about this team already in pretty
a pretty young season so far, you guys have been
tested in so many ways, injuries, just being down on
needing some big fourth quarters. I mean, I know resilience
is a big word for you guys. Is there something
else that just sort of sticks out about this locker
room other than just being resilient in the field of play.

Yeah, I think we're just not complacent and it kind
of goes with that resiliency mindset. I just think that
you know, we had a lot of success last year,
and I think that a lot of guys think that
it kind of just well a lot of people in
general just thinks that so it's supposed to happen all
over again just because you got the same players. Well,
it's we're no secret anymore. So I think that you know,
we're gonna get everybody's best shot. They're gonna game plan
a certain way, do the things that piss us off.

But at the end of the day, man, that's just
the league for you. Man, we can't they're not gonna
