The pie you got, the whipped cream and the pecan

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Turkey. Yeah, turkey is the big one. In my family.
Speaker 8 (01:16):
We make a lot of people make a traditional turkey.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
We make what we call turducan bacon bear. What if
you haven't heard of it.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
What you do is you take a chicken and you
put it inside of a duck, and you put the
duck inside of a turkey, and then you.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Put that turkey inside a live grizzly bear. And yeah,
you wrap the grizzly bear with bacon. Oh yeah, shave
the bear.
Speaker 9 (01:49):
Okay, it's the hardest part, but it's rewarding because somebody.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
Nobody enjoys bear hair. And I'm Bill zimper I like
the Alaskan pipe by.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
The father side is weed and feet us on your side.
Speaker 7 (02:27):
You hear the distance under this line in your stray.
Speaker 3 (02:50):

Speaker 9 (02:54):
Alright.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Friday, November twenty first, twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Power Trip Morning until we made it to the Game
of the week, One week away from our twenty fourth anniversary,
six days away from Thanksgiving, six seconds away from sauce
kries ol, Zach and Chris talking one two.
Speaker 8 (03:08):
Three or Hi, Hey, I nailed it, Hi, Hi nailed it.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Good morning, Hi John Chrisol, how are you great? How
are you guys? Just great? Man good? How was Gambler
in Las Vegas last week? It was fine?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Did Gambler ever emerge? Uh, sounds like he really didn't.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
He didn't.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
He was fun too, well behaved. I didn't really see
him getting salty or anything.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
So you know, we're gonna have mister Xeon in about
forty five minutes to talk about Wicked for good buck necket.
I don't know what you naked. I mean, he could be.
He's just over the phone. It's not like he's streaming it. Uh,
you said, Wizard of Oz at the sphere was worth
every penny. Unbelievable. It was so cool. Really, yeah, if
(03:54):
you don't mind us asking, what did the ticket cost you?
Speaker 3 (03:57):
About three? No, that's lesson.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
We were looking at it when I sat here weeks ago,
well actually months ago now, but and Tim said doesn't matter.
They were around three hundred, and Tim was like, doesn't matter,
we're going I said, all right, no, it's only money,
we'll make more tomorrow. Didn't purchase him that day weighted,
(04:19):
and then not terribly long ago, I was like, oh crap,
I got to get those tickets and they were one
hundred and thirty.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Okay, I mean that's it's one hundred and thirty bus.
But it's way way less than three hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
No, they get you.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Tim bought us each a captain and diet double.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
What do you think that cost.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Each each captain and diet double? Thirty four dollars higher?
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Higher? Forty four dollars higher, fifty four dollars. I don't
know why low.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
We're doing it with the fours fifty correct fifty bucks
fifty dollars. Yeah, what's the good thing about it is,
like I said, we just had that one because you're
not getting up to go to the bathroom.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
It's a seventy ish minute show. It's just it's cool
and how they redid it. You at point see a
little bit of CGI, but you're in it, and like
when you're at Emerald City you look straight up, you
can see the top of it, like your you do
(05:30):
feel how big and how cool that universe is.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
It was just awesome. I was texting with your guy.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
John a couple of days ago because they booked for Vegas,
and he was like, is it worth it one hundred percent?
And it's not a huge time commitment. It's just awesome
with the tornadoes there, I felt that day. And we
started out at pepper Mill. That was a fantastic game.
We couldn't lose. We started out at the pepper Mill.
I had a scorpion with breakfast sixty four out Scorpions
(05:59):
the best a hurricane baby, Yeah yeah, and then the
woman goes, do you know how big that is? And
John goes, yeah, yeah, I'm.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Aware of it.
Speaker 10 (06:07):
I know what I said, yes, drink yeah, and then uh,
I bought my business.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Yeah we we We.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Had that, gambled and crushed, then went to the sphere
for Wizard of Oz. Came back out and it's you're
not there long. It just it was freaking awesome. And
then yeah, we had a nice dinner that night, Tim
and I think we're up till three something that we.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Had carbon and then we gambled the one and yeah,
it was great.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Normally I like to have the teeth in the glass
around two am in Vegas because I liked I'm a
morning guy. I like to wake up and yeah, and
uh we didn't.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
But we couldn't lose that day. Man, that was sweet.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
But yes, Wizard of Oz worth every penny worth every penny, like.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
The little stuff that the tornado.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Honestly, I told them at the end of the night,
I'm like, it's been a day. I survived a tornado,
I survived a scorpion by Yeah, all right.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Well, welcome back. Glad the experience was good. Glad you
didn't waste your money. Say, if you want some money,
well even better.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Yeah, not in sports. That was a really bad sports
betting day. But still when you're in circa, who cares?
Who cares?
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Outstanding paradise Literally, it's paradise, Paradise Nevada.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
John Creeshole's already here. Mark Parish will be here later,
Marty Gellner. Later I mentioned mister z will talk about Wicked.
It's supposed to have a gigantic weekend, which shocks no one.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
No.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
I think it was like CNN somebody said, like one
hundred and fifty million plus is the projection?
Speaker 3 (07:35):
Wow, jeez, that's sweet.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Will that be the biggest opening this well, that sounds sick.
The biggest opening weekend for a for.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Twenty twenty five, twenty five, I mean probably. I can't
think of any any of the giant movies that open
this summer. What are we forgetting? We're forgetting something.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
I feel like there was one that we couldn't wait
to talk to him about.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
But I don't.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
This sounds huge and everywhere you look it's being promoted.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
So they they better not swing and.
Speaker 8 (08:12):
Miss a Minecraft movie. Oh yeah, uh Lee Low and Stitch. Yeah,
this has got to be the biggest. It's got to
be the biggest.
Speaker 11 (08:23):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (08:24):
Jurassic World, rebirth Boy, how to Train Your Dragon in
the F one movie and Superman Hogs. Did you see Superman?
Speaker 12 (08:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (08:35):
It was good.
Speaker 10 (08:36):
Yeah, people liked the dog. Yeah I heard it was
great too.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
But yeah, all.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Right, see you on Monday. We'll breakdown Vikings Packers five
thirty to nine Monday morning. Everybody have a great weekend.
Two The Vikings of the Packers.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Yeah that's Sunday, right.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I know it doesn't feel like Packers a week because
the Viking season is going.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
The wrong way. Yeah, normally there's more notice that yesterday it.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Was like a spot that they hang in there. I
don't see the Vikings winning, but they'll hang in there.
They've been covered the six and a half probably probably,
but who knows.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
If it goes wrong right off the bat.
Speaker 10 (09:17):
Then if you had to be right who and you
had to be right or else you lose everything. You
have to bet on the Gophers beating Northwestern, or you
have to bet on the Vikings beating the Packers.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Who do you pay? You like the Gophers?
Speaker 9 (09:31):
I probably would? Yeah, I go Vikings? Yeah, yeah, I
don't know. The Green Bay has been so bad at
home lately. Yeah, what are they going to lose three
in a row?
Speaker 8 (09:45):
If they lose, we can beat the Lions a couple
of weeks ago on the road.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
We can beat the Packers.
Speaker 10 (09:50):
Mean it's the Lions. I mean it's the Lions. Do
we still have that in the system. I don't think so.
Speaker 6 (09:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
May I bet we do? I bet we do?
Speaker 6 (10:01):
I mean it's Lions.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yeah, it's the s Lions. Hey.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Can we start with TV talk at five forty in
the morning yesterday? No, no Wheel of Fortune discussion. Sorry,
but to make sure he's listening. Sorry, John, no wheel Talk.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
Damn it. I'm going home.
Speaker 12 (10:17):
It's been a.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Solid week of wheel Yever, a whole bunch of renewal
announcements yesterday and a couple of them have me very confused.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Here we go, I go uh so, yes, Chicago Wednesday.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
The Game of Thrones, the Game of Thrones spin off
Night Night of the Seven Kingdoms, which debuts on January eighteenth,
So it already hasn't debuted.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Yet, but it's Game of Thrones. They've already renewed it
for season two.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
That shocks no on. Okay, that's not surprising news. Of course,
they're going to invest a lot of money and it
takes beon. It's Game of Thrones.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Ye.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Conversely, same thing for House a Dragon. Season three comes out.
I believe this summersh but it's in twenty twenty six.
They've already renewed for season four. That'll be twenty twenty eight.
Some rumors that that'll be the last season, but who knows,
hopefully not. The House of the Dragon already renewed for
season four. Chair Company, which feels totally like a one
(11:10):
and done even though it's one hundred percent on Rotten
Tomatoes and it's one of the weirdest shows I've ever seen.
I'm caught up on it. They renewed that for season two.
I didn't think that was going to be a series.
I thought that was going to be a one and done.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
That's the Tim Robinson Show, and last but.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Not least, I'm mostly against this same task season two.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
It can't happen. It felt so much like a limited series.
They completely concluded the story. I thought perfectly.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
It was one of my favorite seasons in the history
of television.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
And I'm not exaggerating.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
It's that good, so good, and they're bringing it back
for season two, but not like True Detective, where it's
a new task force in a new town with new
care bringing Ruffalo back.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
And I'm like, what, we're gonna run this thing back?
Speaker 1 (11:56):
I don't know, man, I think they hit a home
run bottom of the ninth walk off, and I think
they're trying to squeeze it.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
I hope I'm wrong. These networks get greedy, man.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Man, it was so claimed it is and again, this
is the next show on our list.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
You will love it.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
And now I'm like, dude, so I might just do
the one season and then say screw it.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Yeah, but it's so good, I'm gonna definitely watch. I'm
so skeptical they can nail it again.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
I'll let you guys walk on the ice aead men.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
You let me know if you hear cracking.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Man, I just don't know what they're going to do
for season two, but whatever.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
So yeah, but that's the SAME's a different task.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Yeah, yeah, you have some other chores. Maybe he just
mows his lawn in season two.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
And they've said nothing about the direction it's going. You
would think that there had to have been a pitch saying,
all right, what what can you come up with? Can't
just be like, all right, guys, we want another season,
figure it out. That seems dumb. The pitch was the ratings. Yes,
(13:03):
the response, and it was, well.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Run it back, put something together. It doesn't even have
to be.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Get It's like vikings, right, yeah, run it back.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
That always works. Last season we were so close.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
So the rumor a couple of weeks ago, and I
think this was completely just internet speculation that people thought
was super cool. I never watched Mayor of Eastown, m
ari E. That's the it's like four or four years old,
now give her take a sou on HBO. And the
same creator of that show was the creator of Task,
and they're both set in the same.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Kind of area of Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
So the idea was a Mayor of Eastown Task crossover universe.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
But now I just think we're throwing darts. Yeah what ads? Yeah, sure, well,
I don't know if you're supposed to throw those.
Speaker 10 (13:52):
That Easttown bid is ninety five percent on rotting exactly.
I should go back and watch it. I've heard it's great.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
I look over here, and he's watching a video of J. J. McCarthy.
That is Lockers suggested for you. All that your algorithm,
Kevin Gore and Andre Martin. Mine's pizza steak in farts, Yeah,
a lot of.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
And that is the title of the podcast.
Speaker 6 (14:21):
Is pizza steak one word.
Speaker 11 (14:26):
It can be like, see we we had we had
bw W Right, we had bubs. Maybe ps F is
the wave of the future. Who knows, start a restaurant, John.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
See what happens?
Speaker 12 (14:38):
Sounds like.
Speaker 8 (14:41):
You google that a lot like PSF sounds like it's
bad for the environment.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
It does.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
We're going to lower our PSF emissions. Actually, one of
them technically is bad for the environment. Right, the farts, Yeah,
technically the Kyle farts are killing us methane poison.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Oh damn it, damn cows and Rosie says he's an environmentalist. Yea,
he is, though, Well, all right, so Cristo's here, mister
z later, Mark Parrish later, Martie Gellner later, do we
have feeling today or not?
Speaker 12 (15:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Right on, right on, Adam feeling that'll be later as well.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Then initials at eight fifteen and one of you get
to crack at one hundred and four thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
This is the power to a morning show.
Speaker 8 (15:25):
Kfan and the Vikings are teaming up for toys for Tots.
You can join us live at Shields and Aiden Prairie Tuesday,
December second, from five thirty am until six thirty pm
for our annual broadcast presented by Unreal bringing toys, Spread
some joy, and if you're one of the first fifty

(15:48):
Details our kfan dot com slash toys.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
What do you do.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Doing?
Speaker 6 (15:55):
Radio? Bud? Good morning, everybody, hearts the Morning Show. Send
here in the main.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Studio without any clothes off, Chris.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
The inflatables and Christmas lights are up.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
That's side of the house. We are ready got inflatables,
the twelve foot bubble.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Oh yeah, you called Cornelius her mad and then uh,
I still have chew to put up. But we had
a bunch of landscaping done, ripped out a bunch of
old bushes.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
No one likes.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
So my wife yesterday when we're backing out of the driveway,
she's like, looks a little bear over there. So now
I gotta I gotta find a a couple more inflatables.
Speaker 6 (16:39):
Look like an old bar.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Yeah, it sounds to give most of the characters from Rudolph.
You don't have Rudolph though.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
No, it's tough to find because it's either a small one,
or it's an off brand, or it's not really it's
I don't because they can have from not the root Rootolph,
the Rods Reindeer.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
But I don't know.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
It's tough, and I think everyone wants Rudolph, so it's
to to find. And I'm not paying two hundred and
seventy five dollars for the bumble.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
I could go see Wizard of Oz two and a
half times for that.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Right, which is worth it.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
I might fly the family down and we might just
go do like two nights. We'll do like that dinner
and get the heck out of Dodge. Not much to
do there with a seven year old or six and
a half year old when the pools are closed, so
well said yeah, man.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
Yeah, mine, Hey, I was speaking of pools. You know,
I did a speech in Saint Cloud. I spent the
night at the Holiday Inn and like over by the
mall in Sint Clomb m S where I did the speech.
There's a reason I'm telling you this. They have giant,
like swimming indoor swimming pools, you know, yeah, like real,
real big like a lot of pools, a lot of this,
that and the other. But they also have game rooms
(17:43):
where kids can play and get tickets and stuff. You know,
all that jazz gop out of nowhere. In the middle
of the corner of this one little part of the
game rooms is a pinball machine, one single pinball machine.
And it was I love pinball And it was a
Dale Earnhard Junior pinball machine.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Oh wow, Well and it.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
Was, dude, it was so awesome.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
You fire it was old.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
It was old, yeah, because it was back when he
drove for Budweiser, you know, I mean he's young in
the picture.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
You fire the ball, it goes around.
Speaker 5 (18:12):
The circles, zoom a certain amount of times until it
pops out onto the screen, which was cool, real fast.
And then Alan Bestwick is the announcer.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Oh, man, as you go, I loved.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
Best exactly, like, oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
So obviously that's the name that fans. That was fun
to watch the divide.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
Oh god, Ellen best Wick. Yes, the game man go on.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
A towel and if you're hitting in certain spots, you
would go from tenth to ninth to ninth to eighth
and you would get more points.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (18:49):
It was the coolest pinball machine ever played. It's sitting
in the corner of a holiday inn in Saint Club, Minnesota,
where I'm sure kids never play it, And there's a
little plaque right below the top for the screen. It
says one of six hundred. Oh they're only six hundred
of these pinball machines in the world. And it's a
holiday inn in Saint Cloud that's.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
For the dads while the kids are playing the other stuff.
Speaker 6 (19:12):
It's the best pin bum shoot I've ever played. It's
so much fun. You've dumped some cash and that probably
put thirty dollars a dollar at a time.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Did you get first place? Ever?
Speaker 10 (19:20):
No?
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Are you a pretty good pinball player?
Speaker 1 (19:22):
No?
Speaker 6 (19:23):
But I love it.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
I'm not either.
Speaker 5 (19:25):
I don't know how people are getting like like there
always seems to be too much of a gap between
the legs, if you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean have you been to one
of the uh Fargo I believe it's called Drecker Brewing Company, and.
Speaker 6 (19:38):
Then where we did the show or Trekker.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
No, it's like a it's a big brewery. But I
might be saying that's what I'm doing the show.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Yeah, I'm going to December ten, so there is a
if it's at the same spot and they doubt it moved.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
They seem doing well.
Speaker 6 (19:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
They had a ton of pinball machines where you go
and you buy credits like on your phone, and then
you just love it and it was awesome.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
Dude, I love pinball.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
I just am not good.
Speaker 6 (20:06):
I'm not good at either, but it's so much fun.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
The blame Brook Bowl right up sixty I think it's
sixty five c centrol, whichever one, whatever one there's two
floors of pinball machines.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Is that same deal where you buy the credits and
then or you have to play.
Speaker 5 (20:17):
You have to coins, but they're not coins. They're are
whatever you call it, tokens, but they might be coins anyway,
don't Iron Maiden Food Fighters on all these great, brand
new pinball.
Speaker 6 (20:29):
Machines you've never seen before.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Jaws, there's a cool Jaws from the original Jaws movie
where the sound effects are great and you have Quinn,
you know, telling you a story and stuff like that.
Speaker 6 (20:37):
It's super great.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Man.
Speaker 5 (20:38):
The pinball machines are just awesome and it keeps me
out of the casinos.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
So this one, this one can wait.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
She's only six hundred units ever produced. The Dale Junior
Limited Edition Final Machine six thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
It can be yours six k.
Speaker 6 (20:51):
I'm telling you, I.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
Would have thought it would have been more plus a
five delivery fee.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
How much six hundred dollars delivery fee as well, so
you get the days.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
To return it.
Speaker 10 (21:01):
Or just got that hotel and say, hey, nobody plays
this about it, take this off your hand.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
I bet it's not a free return, right, Or do
what I'm gonna do is eventually just steal the Gallican
machine from the break room because nobody ever plugs it
in anyway.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
I'm just gonna steal it. No one will notice. I
almost if I've been there. Since I've been here, it's
been here for twenty five years.
Speaker 5 (21:18):
I know you're going I guarantee if I walked in
there with like a you know, reflecting shirt on, like
I would like to look you know, I don't know
how a workman would look here.
Speaker 6 (21:27):
How would I know?
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Right, bload it up, boys.
Speaker 6 (21:30):
Zach and I here to pick this up. We got
to do some stuff to it.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
We're gonna repair it. Yeah, they probably.
Speaker 6 (21:35):
Wouldn't even know it was gone.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
Like well, corporate, just always say corporate.
Speaker 6 (21:41):
Corporate, Holliday in.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
You know what you do is you have a clipboard
or some random form and just have him sign it,
you know, instee, just sign here. We'll have it back
in like two weeks, two or three weeks. Yeah, the clipboard,
you gotta have. Somebody will sign something so they'll feel
official and you're stealing it.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
We have a good idea, and.
Speaker 8 (21:58):
We should you touch again. How cool that Holiday inn is? Yeah,
it's never huge. There's a basketball court. There's a basketball
court inside inside. Yeah inside, Like my room was the
second four of the basketball park, so I could have
been outside watching people play basketball.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
If you buy playing basketball, yep, but you can't see
into it from the room it is. Yeah, oh so
you should. That's awesome. That's great.
Speaker 8 (22:24):
It's a hockey team or like basketball whatever, like if
you're a youth team and whatever.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Youth team, Yeah, perfect, perfect for that.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
And there must be three full sized pools and two
full sized high tubs and a giant workout room, and
then all these games for people close age that that
are just ticket after ticket after tickets. Super cool, man.
I couldn't believe. I had no idea thatches first. I
might never been there.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
It's great. Huh, maybe I have been there. There's a
sports bar in it too.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
Right by the way Dreckers were Dumel's wedding was. I
was there, but I was tadbit wasted. That's what's surging
somewhere right now. That's where Josh Eumel's wedding was. It
was actually in the the what did you call it?
Ther that's it?
Speaker 6 (23:09):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
That's awesome. Dude's pretty. That's a cool place.
Speaker 6 (23:15):
Did you see him, Zach, We talked about it. Is
he as pretty as you hoped you would?
Speaker 8 (23:19):
Yeah, he's he's just you know, and he's just got
a smile on his face, purple.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Why wouldn't you look like that? It's not fair.
Speaker 6 (23:26):
And I hope he does have a small wiener.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
I mean, he wouldn't be smiling about somebody, but he
wouldn't be smiling comptantly.
Speaker 8 (23:34):
You're right, he did like YouTube interview or something where
they toured his place, his cabin, they went out and
jumped in the lake and just in there underwear and
it's it's he's not even wearing He's fine.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
You want to take a break so you can do
a quick lap around the building or wow, I mean
it's about time for break anyway, maybe to cool off
a little bit.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
Yeah, I have to as well.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
She's not even wearing a sucks. He's fully new. Zach,
you want me to push you over the line. No, No,
I can do it. Two words. Maybe I can do
you two words? Up to it. I'm gonna do it.
Oh gosh, hey yeah, jeez.
Speaker 13 (24:24):
Say McCarthy or something or Max bros Man, wherever you
best front page forward.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
His next mister z in like twenty minutes, Crazi is here.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
We got that right, Cord. It's a big bunch of stuff.
And again Adam dealing bottom of this hour.
Speaker 8 (25:28):
Time now for Front Page Sports Holiday station story.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
You gotta love holiday? How do you not love holiday?
Speaker 1 (25:35):
They got everything you need, including Celsius for a limited
time to Celsius for just five bucks, Mix and match
anything you want. Tommy drinks those mandarin marshmallows. That sounds insane,
but that's what he likes. That's the beauty of it.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Whatever you want marshmallow.
Speaker 6 (25:48):
Yes, yes we should just to confuse people from China.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
That would be this wrestling dame. So she took what
four years a mandarin? Yeah see how how yeah me?
How how's it going? Hello?
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Was one of those four years of mandarin? Your senior
year when you didn't bring a backpack to school?
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Oh yeah right yeah, just having snacks and talking to babes.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
Yep, that's all I did.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
The Houston Texans beat the Buffalo Bills twenty three to nineteen.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Buffalo seven and four, Houston six and five.
Speaker 6 (26:19):
I can't believe it, man, I do.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
Love it. Houston had eight sacks.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
That is a franchise record, ties a franchise record. They
also sacked Josh Allen eight times. Of course, that's the
most Josh Allen has ever been sacked in a game.
Something called Kaylon Bullock for Houston is a safety.
Speaker 6 (26:40):
Not freaking defense.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Yeah, so that's where I was going with this. Check
this out. Two interceptions for him in a force fumble.
That's really good.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
They have the number one defense in the NFL for
both points per game and yards per game.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
My gosh.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
So you know the Bills put up what a billion
and a half points last week?
Speaker 3 (26:56):
Yep, just nineteen last night. The Texans started the season
zero and three.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
They are now six and five after winning six of
their last eight.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Davis Mills, yeah three, you know, yeah, he is, and
they paid him a lot of money to stay as
the backup. He's he's decisive, He's clearly obviously operated the system.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
So he was like just a couple of those.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
There was the one where right before halftime, that was
the key sequence. Was in my mind, I'm thinking, probably
take the points just in case something goes wrong. You
need three points here. I also had fair baron on
a three fantasy teams. Yeah, but they step back, delt
a dart and they were out of timeouts because dudes
(27:45):
kept getting injured and so they had to burn timeouts.
But just a dart between two defenders, that was the
key sequence in the game. Now, obviously some things happened
in the second half, but that was a super fun
Thursday night fotball game to watch.
Speaker 6 (28:01):
I am telling you, guys, I kid this. I kid
you not.
Speaker 5 (28:04):
I don't remember ever knowing who Davis Mills was until
last night. Yeah, I don't remember hearing a third round
pick in twenty twenty one, first Stanford.
Speaker 6 (28:12):
That's exactly right.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
He's still in general. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:15):
Yeah. Davis Mills the third Yeah, yeah, crazy.
Speaker 5 (28:19):
How about I did see one tweet that maybe laugh
to it said the right now on Thursday football, the
Buffalo Bills are playing the Houston Christmas Ornaments.
Speaker 6 (28:26):
Yeah, that's funny, yeah, because that's exactly how they look.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
They did look like it.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Maybe they did it on purpose, though I didn't see
if they called it their you know Christmas battle.
Speaker 6 (28:38):
A lot and that color.
Speaker 10 (28:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's like their hometown bit that they do.
Call it rush yeah or whatever they call it. Yeah,
what we I don't He came back in the game.
But did you see the hit that Josh Allen took. No,
it was the one and he rolled out and started
hustling up the field, and from right behind him he
got just absolutely t boned Will Anderson, crushing and he
(29:05):
was rolling around like stopping his feet on the ground
where I thought he tore his shoulder. Yeah, because obviously
they were trying to cause a film. I don't know
how he didn't fumble and they had just showed it.
But now there was some lid ass bacon on there,
lid ass soup.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
There's so many people that was a It was a
quick bad for microwave bacon.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah, I'm sorry, man.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
I know there's a lot of people that are traditionalists
and you gotta fry it up in all that garbage. Man,
there's a lot of good microwave bake. The Costco bacon
is legit. You throw it in the microphone, microphone microwave,
You move on with your life.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
If you want to be at in five minutes, there
you go. BLTs are outstanding.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Who's got time to deal with grease and whatnot?
Speaker 6 (29:43):
And hold the tea?
Speaker 3 (29:46):
Obviously.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
If I go to a restaurant, I hope they're not
throwing it in the microwave at home.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
Yeah, although I don't have time for that. Don't waste
that grease.
Speaker 12 (29:54):
You know.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
I love the grease, Yeah grease.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
I keep bacon grease, and I make bacon grease infused
bourbon to make old fashions.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
Man, you're not messing around your old man on the
cove momoent scale, you're looking eight and a half. Look
at this guy over there keeping grease for old fashions.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
You bet that's manly. Isn't microwave bacon horrible for you?
Speaker 10 (30:19):
Don't tell me who don't tell me what you do
health microwave bacon, bacon, microwave bacon, love it.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
Ahead, No, I don't keep obviously microwave bacon. We don't
deal with the grease. But I'm talking about the best
way to make regular bacon is in the oven. By far,
you put it on a rat and yeah, otherwise, well
you know about that.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Hell yeah, is that right? I know I know about
Then you just left the lot. That's the only iraq
that I what you used for a grease catcher? Then
just a pan? Yeah, a pan? And I put your
harvested for the for the old fashions.
Speaker 6 (30:57):
You bet every time you walk in the kitchen you
have a flashback. I don't like.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Bacon.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
Is The Vikings are at the Packers Sunday at noon,
right here on the fan ten o'clock pregame Hawk and
Sauce about ten forty or so. Give her take on
the pregame. Say the Vikings are four and six. They
are going the wrong way. They need this game pretty badly.
The Green Bay Packers six three and one. Christian Darasaw
did not practice yesterday because of a knee that's on
the injury report. This is one of those bits where
(31:27):
he just takes a lot of Thursdays off, Thursday off.
Speaker 6 (31:31):
Yeah, it doesn't seem to be bothering.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
No limited, at least on the injury report is limited
Jonathan Gunnard our guy, and Will fries but full participants
Ryan Kelly and Aaron Jones.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
Yeah, the thing Lieber pointed out he does.
Speaker 10 (31:44):
It's like a dose Ekis Player of the Game or
something that he does on Twitter. He put it out
how well Will Friese is playing. And I haven't gone
back and watched the offensive line plate, but I think
that's one of the guys that gets ripped a lot
because the offensive line just kind of been in shambles
a lot of the season. But I think they made
a good acquisition by getting Will fries He's been great, man. Yeah,
(32:07):
he's good.
Speaker 6 (32:08):
He hadn't missed a game. He's on the Interuri report
this week.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
But yeah, you guys, ever see an advertising campaign and
you go, I don't know if that's gonna work, but
somebody should get a ready.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
That's a really clever idea. I don't know if I'm
late to the.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
Party in this, but about two weeks ago I saw
that do Sekis thing. The you guys see those commercials
on TV. It was like go for dose. It was
during football games. They're saying, basically, you should go for two.
But is it a saying too you say go for dose,
and then the whole bit is you know you're going
for a dose. Sekis like, that's genius. If they could
get that the catch on, if you could get like
(32:40):
College A's bros. To go like going for dose for dose,
and then who started it? Go on when the mountains
are blue, go for two? Back when it was like, oh,
when the mountains were the blue mountains were brand new?
Speaker 10 (32:55):
Right?
Speaker 4 (32:56):
Because I just got for two? Yeah, what I got
back from the Walter Reed many moons ago one of
the step kids. I had no idea. I wasn't watching
a lot of commercials in the hospital. I all of
a sudden, one of the step kids handed me a
Corps light that had been in my fridge from a
(33:16):
fantasy football draft, and he said, here you go. When
the mountains are blue, it means it's ready to enjoy.
And I was like, the marketing is working.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
Yeah. And by the way, it was not no se
he said Sierra Avat but yeah, brilliant.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
But when and then I saw all the commercials because
I was back home and it was when the Mountains
are blue, go for two. I think Denny Green was
saying it, and then, uh, what's his name?
Speaker 3 (33:39):
Playoffs?
Speaker 4 (33:43):
He was part of the two. So beer commercials are
usually pretty great. Yeah, I can't.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Imagine what some of those don draper advertising agents caw
or charge for just an idea like that, right, we
were talking about during the break.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
Kind of just got to get a good agent. Where
else can we go here? I don't care about that.
I don't care about this. Oh uh oh the Wild
They're at Pittsburgh to night. I care about that. They're
red hot six o'clock.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
The Wild are seven to one and one in their
last nine games. They have a three game road trip
at Pittsburgh, at Winnipeg, and then at Chicago. The last time, Zachary,
that the Wild played Pittsburgh was the end of a
really bad run where the Wild just couldn't win. They
lost for one to Pittsburgh, but that was October thirtieth.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
Since they played the Penguins.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
They're seven to one and one, so right after they
got their ass kicked last time. But this team started
this sick nine game run where they's seven to one
and one.
Speaker 8 (34:41):
It would be a good little litmus test to see
just how good this team has has bounced back from
after I would say that was that was definitely rock bottom.
And then they had a as you mentioned, the players
only meeting. Brusso had a great article this week in
The Athletic about and what kind of was You got
(35:03):
a little view inside the locker room there, but uh,
needless to say, uh, the Wild earned very good hands
when it comes to leadership, because Jared Spurgeon is one
hell of a captain.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Saws the music on yas I'm about to ask you something,
go ahead.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
I think everybody here understands.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
The metaphor litmus test, right We a lot of people
use that in sports talk, right, sure, the litmus test.
Do you have any idea what an actual litmus test
is for?
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Do you remember?
Speaker 10 (35:34):
Isn't it like a like a coordination thing, like if
you're like, uh, if you're all there and that what
a litmus test is?
Speaker 3 (35:43):
No, I have no idea.
Speaker 6 (35:44):
Then it's a good question. I knew it's in my brain.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
I think you learned this probably I would say middle
school ish, maybe somewhere in the middle school range.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
I don't know. I don't think my kiddos in six right,
I don't think she's learned it yet. I have no idea.
It's a science related thing. Yeah, isn't it a test
the city exactly? That's it. That's the old pH levels.
Speaker 5 (36:16):
Oh you get so confused because it's so close to
another word. They might be of a holiday that I
can't find.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (36:25):
Yeah, that's the name of my next book.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Yeah, you can't just hope muskets a rack.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
Yeah, let's talk to misters when we come back about
some films Wicked specifically. Then Adam Thieling's joining about fifteen minutes.
This is the Power at your morning show on the fan.
Speaker 8 (36:54):

probably gonna go see Wicked.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
I get it.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
But if you're not going to, then go go down
to B fifty two in Lake Villain. Let's play trivia.
Speaking of movies, Hi, mister z.
Speaker 6 (37:35):
Oh, Yes, he guys looks sweet nuts.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
All right, sweet Nuts, So sweet Nuts, let me ask
you a question.
Speaker 1 (37:42):
So Justin Cooper, who was the kid from Liar Liar,
is on Ben Mallor's show overnight and he sees basically
every movie on the planet. He said something that I
believe Chris You've said about the play of Wicked in general,
and this is he saw Wicked for Good this yesterday
and his review was it wasn't as good as the
first one.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
But he said that's also the case in.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
The play, that the second half of the play isn't
as good as.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
The first half of the play.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
So then I looked at Sweet Nuts's favorite website, Rotten Tatosh.
Wicked for Good audience score ninety seven percent. So they're
getting what they want, right, of course, they can seventy
percent for the critics. But would you guys that have
seen the play and seen the first movie, agree that
you are expecting a slight drop off because of the
(38:29):
back half of the play.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
Is that accurate or not?
Speaker 6 (38:33):
Do you want to go first me?
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Yeah, Well here's the and to say the same exact thing.
The cool the thing about at one and X two
in the musical is Act one is more fun. It's
a little more lighthearted you and in the music and
that you have what is This Feeling, which is a
fun song popular as you know, and it adds a
lot of joy to the show. So there's serious parts
(38:57):
of dessert kind of silliness and joy. And if you
Act two doesn't have the it's a lot darker, and
there's a reason that's darker. But so yeah, So simply
from a pier like popcorn entertainment, sitting out the Act
one or Wicked Part one is more fun than Wicked
(39:17):
for good and that is true with the musical and
the movie. But that doesn't mean it's better or worse.
It's just a completely different tone. So for people just
kind of lighthearted going out to seeing a movie, you
could watch Wicked even if you didn't care for the
story or whatever. That it was beautiful and it was fun,
and it was silly and also serious and sad, and
the Act two is just a little darker.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
He now that I mean, that's exactly right. The part
one is in the musical is fun if you think about,
how do I say this without ruining it for anybody?
Part two is tough because they got to get where
they're going at the end of the movie, if you
know what I mean. Yeah, And the whole time you're
watching the musical for the first time, you're like, oh
my god, what are they going to do? Because the
(39:59):
people I didn't like in the movie I love in
the musical, and the way they ended the musical the
first time was so surprising and beautiful. Mister Z, you've
seen it. I haven't seen it yet. I can't wait
to see it. I hope they do the same thing
in the movie, and there's no way it's gonna be
as clever and as beautiful as it was on stage.
I hope it's I hope it's touching like it is
(40:19):
on stage.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Are you saying just because the surprise isn't going to
be there the second time?
Speaker 3 (40:23):
Absolutely?
Speaker 5 (40:23):
But there's something about seeing their faces and seeing actual
live people do it in front of you. I hope
that they can somehow communicate that in the movie.
Speaker 6 (40:31):
Mister Z.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
Sure, yep, And I'm pretty sure I know what you're
talking about. It is it is obviolutely different because I
always use the stand up comedians as a good example
that when you're out with you can go see kind
of just an average stand up comedian, but when you're
out live with people watching it and they're live on stage,
it's just it's just way more engaging and way more
so that it doesn't mean it's bad to watch it
(40:53):
on the screen. It's just a different feeling, which is
why live entertainment is kind of cool. So that's that's perfect.
That's one thing that he has done with this movie
is it engages you, and especially Alphabe's character and I two,
I mean, really she you know, it's the effect one
is more Glinda, act more Alphaba, and she's fantastic in
(41:15):
Act two or in part two for good.
Speaker 6 (41:17):
So I can't wait.
Speaker 5 (41:18):
I can't wait to see. I almost went to see
last night. I wish I had now because I was
up to like two in the morning. I couldn't sleep.
I should have gone to the movie.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
Ah, anyway, you know again, you you don't like when
movies go straight to Netflix, mister Z, I think the
only thing you like less than rotten tomatoes is Netflix.
Speaker 3 (41:33):
However, however, let's reverse it.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
I don't know if we've talked about this or not,
but as we get closer, I'm getting more and more
intrigued by this Stranger Things. I think the first four
episodes of the final season come out on Wednesday, and
then there's like two or three more that come out
on Christmas Day, and then the finale is New Year's Eve.
But the finale is going to be in something like
three hundred plus theaters around the country if you want
(41:58):
to go watch the finale in public with a bunch
of other people, Like, it's kind of cool that this
show has taken on such a giant cultural you know,
slice of the Puzzle here or the Slice of the Pie,
that people are like, I want to go watch this
with other people, not just sit in my basement.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
So it's gone the other way, mister Z with Stranger Things.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, I hope. So though I don't trust Netflix and.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Here we goflix.
Speaker 2 (42:22):
Okay, this is just a fact that Netflix has. The
guy who runs Netflix has but literally said a few
years ago that he wants to run the theater business
out of business. That's one of his goals, you know,
I mean, and so I mean, maybe maybe I'm exact,
maybe I'm a not maybe I'm paraphrasing, but he doesn't
like that. He wants more money and if the theaters
go away, then he makes more money. So he In fact,
(42:45):
Netflix is trying to buy Warner Brothers right now, which
would really be a disaster. But with that being said,
the stranger things, you know what I think would have
been cool. I mean, HBO would never have done this,
but can you imagine if the finale of Game of Thrones,
if you could have went out and watched that last
episode of Game of Throw in the.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
Theater with a packed theater would have been awesome.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
You know when when she when she jumps on that
night King, you know, the night oh my god, White Locker. Yeah,
I mean, it's sometimes it's fun. If you on YouTube,
you can go watch a reaction video. Sometimes some of
the bars did that and the people it's so fun
to watch, like one hundred people are completely silent watching
the thing and then cheering yeah when she you know,
and so yeah, anyway, so there are certain things that
(43:24):
would be that would would work. Finales work better than openings,
I think, But yeah, yeah, so yeah, we're going to
see it. We saw it with a faith based show,
went out on Fathom and did a ton of business
doing some faith based stuff before it came out on TV.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Well, so, and if you I don't know which ones
of you in this room have caught up on Stranger
Things or watch Stranger Things. But again, it's eighties themed, right,
this is supposed to be mid to late eighties, and
like Vetna feels like such an awesome eighties horror character,
it feels like it's supposed to be on the screen.
So I love the idea that they're going to at
least give you the option to watch it, because I
(44:03):
think most of the episode's run time is far greater
than sixty minutes anyway, So if you have an hour
and a half or a two hour finale, throw it
on the big screen.
Speaker 3 (44:11):
Let's see what happens.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
Speaking of that, before we move off of Netflix, I
just saw that the ratings for The New Knives out
is ninety five percent so far with almost one hundred reviews,
so this is apparently very very good. Same thing on
Netflix December twelfth, but in select theaters on November twenty six,
So it's one of those they're dipping their toes at
least into the theaters before Netflix.
Speaker 3 (44:33):
Gives you the full rains on December twelveth Yep, yep.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
I think I want to say the last one did
something similar, because what this is the third one? I
think that was a movie that some of the stuff
that goes and most of it doesn't belong in the
theaters but knives out. The first one would have worked
in the theaters as a more so, Yeah, they're dabbling,
but it actually helps their streaming because you put something theatrical,
it gets a buzz and then people will their streaming
(44:58):
numbers go up. It's a short theatrical run helps the streaming.
Speaker 1 (45:03):
So, uh, does does Utopia to come out before Thanksgiving?
Speaker 3 (45:08):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (45:09):
It opens Wednesday, but but you know, you know how
the day before has become an opening day. It actually
opens Tuesday at two pm for you know, the day
before opening and not every market has it, but some people.
That makes a difference because a lot of theaters in
the in the country have bargain days on Tuesdays and
so they would be opening a brand new movie on
(45:30):
a Tuesday, friend bargain day and a lot of markets.
Speaker 3 (45:32):
So gotcha.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
So it's going to do a ton ton ton as
far as just I'll throw this in real quick wicket.
Of course, it's going to have a huge opening weekend.
But interestingly enough, because as we talked about before, the
day after Thanksgiving is maybe the busiest or second busiest
day of the year in the theaters, and some of
the people are going to save that to go on Friday.
But with Utopia also opening, that's the Friday after Thanksgiving,
(45:55):
you know is going to be a blast at the theaters.
People wearing pajamas and bringing their blankets and and uh,
it'd be a fun day.
Speaker 6 (46:01):
It's the best.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
We love going to the movies after they see the Yeah, yeah,
there you go, sweet Nuts, Thanks mister Z. Appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (46:11):
Man bye, sweetulator.
Speaker 3 (46:14):
All right.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
From from mister Z to mister t shall we yes.
Adam Thielan joins the Power Trim morning show every week
during the football season. Good morning, Adam, how are you.
Speaker 12 (46:25):
I'm great, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (46:26):
We're just talking movies. We're talking about Wicked, about Zootopia too.
I'm sure your kiddos are excited for one or two
of those films.
Speaker 12 (46:34):
Probably, Yeah, I'm excited for both, uh and uh. It's
always good to have some good movies coming out again.
I feel like it's been a while since we've had
some good movies in theaters. So I'm not a theater person.
I'd rather watch it in my own comfort of my house.
But I know, I know Meatsos would love to put
on some pajamas and bring a blanket to the theater
(46:56):
and and check that out Thanksgiving to.
Speaker 4 (47:00):
Check out Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Man right, it's it's in Woodbury,
right up the road. Awesome spot. It is like watching
it in your basement. They bring you food and snacks.
Can't beat it.
Speaker 12 (47:11):
Man, I do love that place. We go there every
once in a while. The kids loved the movie theater,
so they forced me to get out of the house
and go to the theater every once in a while.
But yeah, that's a great spot. What a what a
cool spot. I thought we were going to lose it
there for a minute, but yeah, sounds like it's back
and back and good.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Well, not an option in Green Bay because Wisconsin does
not have movie theaters. There's not a lot of it
to do in Dame Bay, Wisconsin.
Speaker 3 (47:35):
But that's okay.
Speaker 1 (47:35):
You're only there for like twenty four hours anyway, So
no big deal this week.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
I'm just in and out. I didn't really have a question.
I just wanted to rip. I just wanted to rip
Green Band.
Speaker 4 (47:48):
I didn't expect a lot of families from Wisconsin, so
he's got to be careful, same with mine.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
That's why I rip.
Speaker 12 (47:55):
Anyway, I wonder if you cut out or what happened there.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
No, that was just the end of my sentence.
Speaker 10 (48:01):
Hey, animal, of all the times you've played at Lambo,
what's your favorite Lambeau memory?
Speaker 3 (48:06):
Good question, great question.
Speaker 12 (48:09):
Well, my first I believe my first NFL catch was
in Lambeau. So that was pretty cool.
Speaker 6 (48:16):
I mean, that is pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (48:18):
That what you were looking for, sauce. Yeah, yeah, perfect, yeah,
thank you. Would you like him to catch what some
football's on Sunday?
Speaker 12 (48:25):
One of my coaches actually back in the day, gifted
me for Christmas the picture of my first catch and
it was obviously in Lambeau and Green Bay Packer player
and which was absolutely perfect. That was regifted to my
father in law because he's a huge packer fan just
to show them, you know that I that that work
better than the Packers.
Speaker 5 (48:47):
Well, so, yeah, and how do you feel about going
in this weekend? What are we up against as far
as their defensive, backfield goals goes in Green Bay?
Speaker 12 (48:56):
Yeah, obviously excited to get get back there to Lambeau.
Such a special place and such a great atmosphere, you know,
obviously the Viking Packer rivalry, and just just this week
in general is just such a fun week. I remember
so many memories obviously going back to as a little kid,
you know, the Monday, the Monday after the game, everybody's
showing up with with their jerseys on depending on who won,
(49:17):
and and had some breaking rights for the for the week.
So uh So, a lot of memories, uh and excited
to get back there. This defense is a really good defense,
So a great challenge for us, especially in the in
the back end. A secondary that's that's really good. Maybe
not a lot of big names, but but just a
group that's that's physical, They're fast, they can kind of
(49:40):
do everything. So be a great challenge for us, and
we always look forward to to matchups like that. You know,
it kind of makes you prepare a little a little harder. Uh.
You watch some of the tape and you and you realize,
all right, I gotta I gotta bring it this week.
You see some of these safeties coming downhill, and you're like,
all right, I'm gonna have to put the big boy,
big boy pads onto this week and and get ready
to hit somebody.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
Adam.
Speaker 1 (50:01):
When you have a quarterback that's young and trying to
figure it out and is struggling, how do you know,
as a leader and as a veteran when to give
him a pep talk and pet him on the back
and say we all have your back. And how do
you know when to just leave him alone and let
him be? How do you have to judge that that
fine line?
Speaker 12 (50:19):
Yeah, I think I think it really just goes off of,
you know, letting it be natural, right, you know, if
there is a situation that comes up and you feel
like you can have a one on one conversation and
it's it's just you two, you know, I think I
think those kind of naturally happen. And I've always kind
of felt that way that you build, you build these
relationships first so that you can have those natural conversations
(50:41):
and it doesn't have to be forced. And you know,
he's a lot of athletes, I'd say ninety nine percent
of athletes, especially at this level, they're harder than it
on themselves than anyone else is on them. So he
already he already knows, you know, what, what he feels
that he needs to be better at and how he
(51:01):
can be better. And you know me personally, I know
how I can get better, you know, right when you
do something as an athlete kind of like, all right,
I could have done a lot better there, and this
is how we're going.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
To fix it.
Speaker 12 (51:12):
So I say that all to say that sometimes there
doesn't need to be a whole lot to be said
because he knows it before before we even say anything.
But yeah, just a lot of great conversations about about
just experience really just things that I've seen in the
past with different guys or personally and just trying to
share those experiences.
Speaker 5 (51:30):
Well, and let me ask you about that, because I'm
not going to pretend I know a lot about what's
going on in Carolina with the Panthers, with that young
quarterback Bryce and did they not kind of make him
take a step back at one point? And now he's
obviously he's caught up and he's doing really well. There's
been injuries, and there's six and five right now competing
for that division. But a lot of people have already
written him off and said he couldn't do it in
this league, and right now he's starting to succeed in
(51:52):
a big way.
Speaker 12 (51:54):
Yeah, I mean I saw it firsthand, just that progression,
you know. I think, like you said, there was the
time where where there was a lot of talk about
him being being a huge bus right, one of the
one of the biggest busts in the NFL, and then
now it's like, hey, he's playing pretty well. I think
you just set the set the record for most passing
(52:14):
yards in Carolina Panthers history, uh, in a game. So
so yeah, it's it's a progression, right. Not everyone just
comes into the NFL first year and just blows it up,
especially at the quarterback position. You look at a lot
of guys in NFL history who have been pretty dang
good quarterbacks, and I think a few of them are
in the Hall of Fame didn't have great first years
(52:37):
as a starter. So I think it's it's just one
of those positions that you just need a little bit
of time I was able to talk to him a
little bit and and just talking about you know you
some of these throws that you make in a game
or or I look back in my career and there's
so many times that you run a route and you're like, man,
(52:58):
like I could have you know, you look back at
you're like, man, I could have done this or that.
And the next time you get that route, like you
remember very clearly, like, oh, I remember when I ran
that route and I did this, I should have done this,
And then you go out and you execute it, and
you you have that experience to draw from. Well, he
doesn't have those experiences to draw from yet, and so
(53:18):
I think it's a really exciting thing for him that
he now is starting to have some of those experiences
where he can look back at and be like, all right,
I remember when we ran this play last time, and
I should have done this. So boom, he does it
and has a lot of success. So that's that's just
kind of the progression it takes to have success in
this league.
Speaker 10 (53:37):
Hey, Adam Micah Parsons leads the league and pressures from
an offensive like weapons standpoint, You guys, as the wide
receivers and the tight ends, how do you work into
kind of chipping him and moving him off of his spot.
Speaker 5 (53:50):
Without getting a penalty that's going to get you in
trouble with the referee without that.
Speaker 10 (53:53):
Yeah, your fan boy.
Speaker 12 (53:55):
Coming by, speaking of that, Speaking of that, I did
hear a couple of coaches came out to me yesterday
and said, hey, by the way, the league came back
and said that that was not a penalty, So he
doesn't do as much good later. But I guess, yeah,
I guess they said it wasn't a penalty. So yeah,
(54:16):
I think it's important that it's all hands on deck
when you play some of the best players in the NFL,
guys that can really be game wreckers. It's all hands
on deck. It's whatever it takes. You know, sometimes you're
not gonna be running a route as a receiver. You're
gonna be chip blocking, and you're gonna be in protection
and sometimes the tight ends some nights, the running back
sometimes it's you know, sometimes we just got to lean
(54:38):
on those old linemen that that we feel really strongly
about on the edges to just to just be able
to handle themselves. But yeah, it's all hands on deck
and and it's only gonna help the team have success.
So that's what you gotta do.
Speaker 10 (54:52):
Speaking of frustration, we've seen one of your best buddies
on the team, Justin Jefferson, have a little frustration. How
do you as a leader, as as they've asked you
about McCarthy, but how do you talk to the best
player on the team about frustration?
Speaker 12 (55:07):
Yeah, well, I if I you know, could he evaluate that?
You know, as far as Justin's frustration, I would say
he's done a heck of a job, to be honest,
I think I think he's done a really good job
of just of just being in the moment. You know,
it's tough when you're when you're the guy, and he
knows what he can do and and make a difference,
(55:29):
especially if he gets the right coverages right if if
they play him true just normal defense, like that guy
is unbelievable. And so for him to be able to
take on, you know, teams that are just putting three four,
you know, six eyes on him, you know, it's it's
it's tough and it gets frustrating, and I think he's
(55:50):
handled it really well. But yeah, I think there's times
that we all right, that we all kind of let
our frustration get to us and it boils over a
little bit. But yeah, I haven't said much to him
because I think he's done a heck of a job
just handling that, especially as as such a competitor and
and and you know, one of the best football players
in the league. And I think he's done a really
(56:10):
good job. And he does a really good job communicating
when he's very accountable. I should say, you know, he
doesn't let that stuff just you know, just mosey over
or sweeping under the rug. He addresses it. He talks
about it and says, you know, I could do better,
and and moves on. So we really appreciate that. And
that's why he's got to see you on his chefs.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
All right, good luck on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (56:33):
With the Thanksgiving holiday next week, I don't know if
we're going to talk to you in a week or
two weeks, but either way, good luck on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (56:38):
We'll talk to you pretty soon. Thanks, all right, thanks guys,
All right, Adam there.
Speaker 5 (56:42):
He goes, Thanks to our friends at ETS performance and
the feeling foundation that ladies and gentleman was Adam deal.
Speaker 6 (56:50):
Great questions, Yeah, yeah, great.
Speaker 3 (56:53):
Questions held that man, you were on fire, nailed it.
Speaker 6 (56:55):
Had a question for him, Man, I never got to more.
Speaker 10 (56:57):
We're gonna ask about pinball kind of We're you gonna
ask him if he'd buy you the pinball thing?
Speaker 5 (57:03):
Yeah, I was gonna ask him if he wouldn't mind
helping me steal a pin bull show.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
Okay, Hey, do you remember what was it about a
week or two ago? Remember when Chris Hockey saw a
trailer and goes, this looks hilarious, and well I do now,
and we all we all said, we.
Speaker 3 (57:20):
All said, Chris, that's Kevin James. How good can it be?
Speaker 6 (57:24):
It looks so good?
Speaker 3 (57:25):
Uh? Playdate yeah, is on Amazon Prime and now the
reviews are out.
Speaker 5 (57:32):
Yeah. It's hard being dumber on you guys because you
guys always make so much fun of me, and it's like, I'm.
Speaker 3 (57:37):
You you like, don't let you get to let what
I have to.
Speaker 6 (57:41):
Work with these it's just the worst.
Speaker 1 (57:47):
Yeah right, Uh, sauce, take a shot at play day
with Kevin James. What the Rotten Tomato score is? Seventeen
seventeen percent?
Speaker 3 (57:58):
John Krazil twenty nine, Zach Elvison eight just going eight
twenty three. You guys danced all around it.
Speaker 1 (58:12):
Brian Talarico from Roger Eber dot Com says, it's a
remarkably stupid movie that thinks you're remarkably stupid as well.
Speaker 4 (58:24):
In some cases they're right. But some of these critics, though,
get carried away there. They think that they're more important
than they Of course it's right.
Speaker 6 (58:34):
You can't do do reviews. That's why Corey was a journalists.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
Yeah for sure, Yeah, okay, but when I used to
love Rotten Tomatoes.
Speaker 4 (58:42):
But journalism is what it says about bad thoughts on Netflix.
I'm out after that just rips it no stuff, It
makes it sound stupid. I think it's actually a very smart,
brilliant show. Not to make this about that, but I
just run Tomatoes is not the end.
Speaker 3 (59:01):
All b oh.
Speaker 1 (59:02):
That's why you find you have to find a critic
that you align with and see what they think. To
say that Playdate is one of the worst films of
twenty twenty five. Feels like an understate that gave it
a one out of four.
Speaker 4 (59:12):
See that's that's that's funny there the h the popcorn meter,
that's the audience review is at fifty nine percent, and
I think that is what bad thoughts is about fifty
nine or so.
Speaker 3 (59:24):
Maybe I love this guy. You love bad thoughts. It's
the bass.
Speaker 4 (59:28):
Yeah, just watch the gym one. There's so many penises.
It's so funny. Exactly down Back would love it. Absolute
King Kong's finger just hanging.
Speaker 10 (59:39):
Japers yeah, Japer sky, Oh.
Speaker 3 (59:43):
Boy, all right? What really matters? In a second? Perishing
a little bit?
Speaker 1 (59:47):
Marnie in a little bit initials at eight fifteen, one
hundred and four thousand dollars up for grabs, potentially with
the Saint Paul Federal Credit Union initials Jackpot.
Speaker 3 (59:57):
This the power tim one, you showing to hak.
Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
There.
Speaker 8 (01:00:07):
We all remember that one teacher who made a difference,
who believed in us, who challenged us and just made
learning fun. Now's your chance to say thank you in
a big way with Iheard Radios Think a Teacher. It's
powered by donors choose, nominate and outstanding public school teachers
gone above and beyond for their students to win five
thousand dollars to stock their classroom with whatever they need.
(01:00:31):
Help us say thank you to the ed educators shaping
our future. I mean your favorite teaching out I heard
radio dot com slash teachers.
Speaker 6 (01:00:38):
My gym teacher.
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
Your gym teacher.
Speaker 10 (01:00:41):
Yep, mister Beckett, how did you get hired as a teacher?
Speaker 6 (01:00:48):
I mean mean it's a bad teacher. I mean his
name was Buck Nicked.
Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
Yeah, I can't control it.
Speaker 6 (01:00:54):
Came the long line of nickeds.
Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
Yeah, I'll do scores and stats around the world of sports, Crystal,
change your life with something else that has nothing to
do with professional amateur athletics.
Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
Let's go Nope, all right. The Wolves are at Phoenix
to night at eight o'clock.
Speaker 1 (01:01:07):
The Wolves are playing their third game in the NBA
Cup Group Stage. They are two and oh with a
plus fifty four differential. They destroyed Utah, they beat Sacramento.
Now we have Phoenix. But Phoenix has a winning record.
They're nine and six, and the Wolves this year ten
and oh against teams with losing records, zero to five
(01:01:30):
against teams with winning records.
Speaker 3 (01:01:32):
Yeah, this will be a good game. It sucks that
it's on an eight.
Speaker 10 (01:01:35):
That's a little too late for me, but yeah, I'll
watch some of it, can't wait.
Speaker 8 (01:01:39):
I love Wolves basketball eight plus two Minnesota Sports Night tonight.
Speaker 3 (01:01:43):
Yeah it is.
Speaker 8 (01:01:44):
Yeah, we got wild at six and then you can
roll right into the Wolves at eight Before.
Speaker 4 (01:01:49):
That, what about the Frost the high school? Wife and
Chloe and I are going to the Frost Frost game.
Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
Wow, it's a good time. We see Taylor kick some ass.
Yeah yes. What really matters is this.
Speaker 5 (01:02:01):
A Canadian man has lost his sixteen year legal battle
to get back more than one point two million Canadian
dollars he had stored in bizarre locations around his home.
Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
That's like seventy seven US dollars. Yeah. Crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:02:16):
The December one, two thousand and nine date was the
day police visited Marcel Breton's rural property on the outskirts
of Thunder Bay, which looking for an illegal handgun. There,
they made an unusual discovery about fifteen thousand Canadian dollars
worth of bills in the floor heating ducts of the
living room, about thirty two thousand dollars stored in locations
around the garage, and over one point two million worth
(01:02:38):
of Canadian bills and a rubber tub buried in the
ground under the garage.
Speaker 6 (01:02:43):
All up the statues with about one point one nine
million US dollars.
Speaker 5 (01:02:46):
In two thousand and nine, police also found a variety
of drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, and ecstasy. Jesus and I
told Jesus that he was. They were flabbergasted. Breton was
charged with various offenses, including session of the proceeds of
a crime.
Speaker 6 (01:03:01):
It was initially convicted, but in a.
Speaker 5 (01:03:03):
Retrial he successfully argued the search of his home was unlawful.
But then came the matter of the money, and on Monday,
the Ontario Appeals Court upheld a twenty twenty three ruling
that decided the lion's share of the money should go
to the government.
Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
Of course, what if that was the US and they
didn't have the right to actually search the place. I
think as long as the having money, that's where I
don't know. If obviously the drugs, I don't think they
can just give those back, But the money, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Hire lawyer lamp if only we knew a lawyer back.
I don't know where he is.
Speaker 5 (01:03:43):
He's sleeping now.
Speaker 6 (01:03:45):
I gave him just a hard time last night.
Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
Yeah, that's tremendous pounding.
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
Yeah, I guess go for football is at Northwestern tomorrow
at eleven am. And by Northwestern we technically mean Wrigley Field,
but they will be on the road tomorrow eleven o'clock
right here on the fan. The Gophers are six and four.
Northwestern is five and five.
Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Yeah, that'll be fun, man. Wrigley Field is a cool place.
You know.
Speaker 10 (01:04:08):
Northwestern is playing to get into a bowl game. They
need to win this game or then whoever they play
next week. The Gophers are looking for their first road victory.
It'll be a fun atmosphere. I think the Gophers are
four and a half or four point underdogs.
Speaker 6 (01:04:23):
Is that right?
Speaker 10 (01:04:25):
So?
Speaker 3 (01:04:25):
Yeah, is that right? But what really matters is this.
Speaker 6 (01:04:30):
You make a good point, thanks, man Antonio. I'm sorry,
that's what I am. But I'm sure you make a
good point of that.
Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
I don't know if I'm five you will.
Speaker 5 (01:04:40):
On this date in eighteen seventy seven, a magazine by
the name of Scientific American announced that Thomas Saidd Edison,
I should say, had come up with a wonderful invention
in eighteen seventy seven. What do you think it was, guys?
Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
Light bulb?
Speaker 10 (01:04:54):
Nope, um, microwave flashlight direct?
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
Well, no, i'll telegraph recurrent.
Speaker 6 (01:05:02):
You're getting phonograph, that's right.
Speaker 5 (01:05:05):
On eighteen seventy seven, Scientific American announced Thomas Edison had
made a wonderful invention called the phonograph, and look at
that eighteen seventy seven man, that changed everything.
Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
Yeah, so you.
Speaker 5 (01:05:18):
Know, I mean we could now own pieces of music
that you didn't have to have Johnny Long here come
over and play the latest from Sabbath in your bedroom.
Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
Yeah, sa wow. So that was eighteen seventy seven.
Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
Just think it would take ben almost exactly two hundred
years from the phonograph to GTA six.
Speaker 10 (01:05:35):
Yeah, and was it weren't the Pyramids built around that time?
Speaker 6 (01:05:39):
One hundred years? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
Oh I get it. There you go.
Speaker 8 (01:05:46):
It's going to get delayed again. Yeah, it will until and.
Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
Yes, eighteen seventy seven I think that was right after
the Pyramids were completed.
Speaker 8 (01:05:53):
Yeah, that's right, Yeah, correct, Sure, that's a pah. My
grandma had an iHeart phone.
Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
That was great. Really, you're clever. I'm gonna miss you
next week.
Speaker 6 (01:06:04):
Kidding.
Speaker 8 (01:06:05):
Uh yeah, and never mind, well done.
Speaker 3 (01:06:18):
It shouldn't be so.
Speaker 6 (01:06:19):
Funny, it's not really laughing crying.
Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Alexandrovitchkin had a hat trick. He moved into.
Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
Tenth all time in points, passing Joe Sakik. He now
has one thousand, six and forty three career points. But
of course adds more goals to his total. He clearly
has the NHL record and goals that's now nine hundred
and seven. Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:06:46):
But like I mentioned, he has a hat trick.
Speaker 1 (01:06:47):
How many hat tricks do you think Alexandrovitchkin now has
in his career? Those of you playing along in your cars,
the hat trick has three goals or more? Thirty six,
thirty six, fifteen, fifteen, eighteen eighteen.
Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
I'm going to say, like, yeah, eleven, that might be
too much, But I mean, just like, doesn't Karill have
like seven or eight? I don't know, doesn't Perry have
like five or six? Chris, you almost got it. That
was his thirty third career hat trick.
Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
Alexandrovchkin in your face, bitches and.
Speaker 6 (01:07:31):
That I could feel it. I feel it on my face.
I didn't mind it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
Yeah, what really matters is this.
Speaker 6 (01:07:36):
You got that right?
Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
Was on the State in nineteen eighty three, hundred and
fifty million people tuned in to find out who shot Jr.
Turned out it was Maggie.
Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
They combined two great bits. Gat bit great done. Yeah
all time. That Simpson's bit is so.
Speaker 6 (01:07:56):
Real is a great bit.
Speaker 3 (01:07:57):
It's so good.
Speaker 6 (01:07:58):
It's good bit, man, good bit. But that is true.
Speaker 5 (01:08:00):
Three hundred and thirty million, three and fifty I should
say million people tuned in to find out who shot Jr.
Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
In case you're wondering a lot of people, Hey, what
did you say that? You said how many?
Speaker 6 (01:08:10):
Three hundred and fifty million?
Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
God, I have a lot of questions. Yeah, that's that's
I mean, that's more than the entire country. So people
around the world. And I'm very confused.
Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
Seventeen people live in Canada, So what other nations?
Speaker 6 (01:08:25):
Three and fifty people around the world. Yeah, that's what
it says. Yeah, around the world. Wow, Yeah, what was it?
Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
Because the US number must have been two something in
terms of the number of people that lived here. Seventy
two would change at that point, right, because what is
it now? Three thirty three forty So that would have
been more people than the entire country.
Speaker 3 (01:08:42):
Yeah, eighty three million.
Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
Eighty US, right, and US alone, that's right, seventy six
percent of all US televisions on that.
Speaker 6 (01:08:48):
Damn wow, seventy six percent.
Speaker 3 (01:08:50):
That's Super Bowl.
Speaker 6 (01:08:52):
I'm incredible man.
Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
By the way, a quick AI search says Parish had
six career hat tricks in the NHL. He all so
holds the Saint Cloud State University record with four hat
tricks during his college career.
Speaker 3 (01:09:05):
But again that's AI. I did not fact check that.
So if Google Gemini is wrong, it usually is when
it comes to sports.
Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
It is really bad when it comes to sports stats.
It's crazy. It's one of the weakest things is I
don't know what it is about it, but it has
a really hard time.
Speaker 6 (01:09:21):
There's so much misinformation.
Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Yeah, so when Parish gets here, we can see if
those two numbers are right. But this says six career
hat tricks in the NHL Sant Cloud State record with
four hat tricks during his college career.
Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
When I was goofing around with AI before the NFL
season started, I was like, who's going to win the
Vikings Bears game Week one?
Speaker 3 (01:09:40):
Obviously?
Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
And they talked about the Bears revamped new coach Justin Fields,
and I was like, okay, never mind, Yeah, yeah, anyway,
two hundred and twenty six million was the population at
that time, twenty six it's growing.
Speaker 3 (01:09:55):
People been banging. Yeah, right, I mean believe that's the
most likely. The news is next Pairs should be here shortly.
Speaker 1 (01:10:08):
We'll see if AI is correct, We'll talk to Marnie
Gellner will play Initials at eight fifteen, one hundred and
four thousand dollars up for grabs with the Saint Paul
Federal Credit Union. Initials Jackpot lots to get to between
now and nine o'clock on the fan
