or stream us live every day on the iHeartRadio app
by searching FSR. To the story, enough Horse It Around
Scottie Scheffler on top of the leaderboard. Now his wife
is pregnant. Congrats to Scott and his wife. Yeah, had

(00:33):
a wild night about nine months ago. Scotti Scheffler is
saying that if his wife goes into labor, he's prepared
to just jet and leave the masters no matter what.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
First place seven under day two and he's ready to
be like, if it happens, I'm out.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Is this our first child?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
That's a good question. The second one doesn't count? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Second, well, I don't have kids, so I really don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
The first born of five I could, Yeah, agree with Manzi,
it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
After that, Yeah, I feel like the first.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Honestly, I think the first one is probably why he's saying.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
That's crazy though.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Think my parents cared about my brother.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
The toilet baby definitely didn't care about the first one.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
They cared about me. My brother was raised by wolves. Yeah,
you care about my brother. I'm like, hey, did anyone
bathe this kid?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
My brother and the nose picker? That kid was raised
by nobody. Can I give you the difference on its mothered.
I try very hard to make sure my two kids
I treat them equal. But you do have a propensity
as a parent to really pay attention to the oldest.
Because I look back and this is something little, but
you mad you say little. This is a big one

(01:50):
in my family. I'm one of three. Do you know
that I had braces and my brother and sister did it? Yeah?
The leg ones right, you were like Elvis Forest Company.
I was like for us scope, No, I had braces.
My brother and sister didn't have perfect teeth. But I
think by them, they're like who cares? Uh, Yeah, that's
actually what I think. I feel like they's not that

(02:11):
they'd be more money for your parents love them any less.
It's just they sort of throw caution to the wind,
as they say, like, you know, if he falls, he falls,
or it's just a different level of concern when it
comes to the other end.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
It is their first child.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
It is now.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
They're not expecting for a couple of weeks, but we
all know that there could be healthy babies born weeks
ahead of time.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Danny G.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I know you are on high alert when Brenda was
pregnant because we were doing the show, doing a little traveling,
and I remember you being like, yo, it could happen
at any day.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
I made sure we were broadcasting live from Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah. So my thought is I have a thought on
this as well. Where where are you realistic? Where are
you old school?

Speaker 1 (02:55):
I don't even know what that would even mean. Old
school means you don't care. My thought is, what would
it have? The big school means that your dad has
an awkward time saying he loves you, and he seems
to be a little disconnected, but you know he cares. Okay,
I get that. Yeah, And did he have to be there?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Not really?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
You know, my mom likes to say, Mike, granted, my
parents are divorced, but my dad, my mom likes to say,
you know, your dad, when your sister was born, he
was out playing poker with his buddies, and he's stopped
by the hospital and then went back to play poker.
I'm like that sounds old school. My sister is the
third born. That sounds old school.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Yeah, but what would it have to be for you
to miss the birth of your first child.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Now, I'm a father of two, and I'll tell you this,
there is the joy in the magical moment of like.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Holy crap, I'm a dad.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
But if I was in first place at the Masters, listen,
I'm a radio host. I feel proud of what I
do for a living. But I'm not in the Masters
on the leaderboard at number one. I'm not pitching Game
seven of the World Series. I'm not in the super Bowl.
I'm not, you know, in the heavyweight main event at
a uf SE event. If that so happened to line

(04:03):
up with the birth of your first child. Aren't there exceptions?
And I'm usually the guy that says family first. And
these are exceptional people and they're doing exceptional things, and
that's what makes it different. I'm not saying they're more
important than you, but they're doing once in the lifetime
like they hit the life lottery, and you got to

(04:26):
let you. I think you gotta let them play it
out in these moments. And I think a good wife
and I'm not saying his isn't. But I'm saying a
good wife or a good partner flip it and reverse it.
I don't care, would say no, you do what you
gotta do. I'll be fine because you're doing this for
the family and we're proud of you.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
And I think here's my thought on this.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I think Dad's today just put so much unnecessary pressure
on themselves, me being one of them, to be at
every event, to be overly passionate and present. And you
know what, man, as a provider, man or woman like,
you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes and you
can't make every event, but you live with this guilt

(05:05):
that you gotta be there.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
You're also and you're a bad person if you're not.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
You're also trying to make up for previous generations that
were That's it. On President, You're like and you know
you all can never hear the end of it. That's
the other part. Like Scott Scheffer is like, you know what,
I know him in the Masters, but my wife will
never let me live it down if I'm not there
because of all this unnecessary pressure. Is not fair. You
gotta let this guy be a man. Absolutely, as Rocky said.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Or a woman.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
On the flip side of you're quoting Rocky, I am
pulling Rocky. Well, if it was a woman, dude, she'd.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Have to be there to help me.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Saying this is a particular like I'm not trying to
sound sexist, right, I'm saying a man also has to
support his woman in whatever scenario you want to choose.
But in this scenario, you gotta let this dude do
what he does. He's a golfer man. Well, what is
Rocky said to Adrian when she doesn't want him to fight?
You're Adrian like, I don't wall you to stop being

(05:59):
a woman, so don't ask me to stop being a man.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
It's a great line, and I'm not saying being a
man is being at the Masters.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
But I think we need to remind ourselves that, you know,
no offense of your Frank who has a you know,
a truck route, or John that works at the doctor's office,
or Rich Davis who has a radio show, we are.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Not at the Masters.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
We are not scheduled to be, you know, playing Game
seven of the NBA Finals. I think there's exceptions, and
I usually do side on family comes first, and I
know Cavino a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
It was good because we got some love about it.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
But Cavino caught a little heat because he was, like,
remember getting on the case of Jeff McNeil in the
Mets because he took a little bit of a long
paternity leave.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, yeah, but they twisted my words around. The narrative was.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
The narrative was that I said he didn't have to
be there for the birth of his baby.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
And that's not what I said.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I said, you know, get back as soon as you can,
because the team and the player, the fans want you
to be back.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I never said he shouldn't be there. Oh if he
could be there, he wants social media to quote you
the right way. Yeah, Louck, I mean that's not what
I said.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Well, I'm just saying My point was he had an obligation, yes,
to his wife and to his child, and he was there.
But he has an obligation to his teammates and to
the fans that pay to see him play. So I
was just saying he shouldn't be away for months at
a time. Listen, buddy, Lebron James set it straight up
and no one blinked, And I guess he's Lebron and

(07:26):
knowing Thos more than Lebron that he puts it all
on the court. Remember Lebron said if I have a
conflict and Bronni's got a big game, I'll be there,
saying I will skip a Lakers game if I need
to be there for my son prioritizing being a dad.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
And when you're Lebron James, you could do that.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I just ask you the Fox Sports Radio Nation eight seven,
seven nine nine on Fox when we open up the
lines here, these are once in a lifetime moments. You know,
I guess both ways goffing in the masters, being in
the lead as we speak, and also being a first
time dad. I could also see not only not only
does Scott Schefer want to be there for his wife

(08:07):
and support and to be there for his future child,
he wants to be there because he wants to be
there right selfishly, I understand all of that, But man,
I think in this moment it goes back to the
Rocky Baoboba quote. Actually, Rich, Yeah, I don't know if
you just dubbed being a woman don't as mutisdubed being.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
A man does done. Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
I mean, it's a magical moment watching your first kid
be born. I'd play the audio for you, but all
I just keep saying is holy s over and over.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
And over again.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Holy Holy listen. I was never on the leader board
at the Masters, but I will say this. Kevino and
I was say, I'm Lenna, give you a little old
school story, buddy boy. So this is when Kevino and
I were working at ESPN. We were doing a late
night TV show every night on ESPN two. The year
was twenty eighteen, was it twenty seventeen, twenty seventeen, And

(09:03):
they said, hey, guys, we're signing you on to do
this new show, but we're doing all the demos, all
the auditions for some of your co hosts and other
talent on the show. On May seventeenth, we're flying everyone in.
I'm like, okay, boss.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Then I turned to Kavina.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
I said, that's my wife's due date, and he's like, well,
what are we gonna do. I was like, well, we're
in the same city. I looked at it like we
got things to do. Date, So I would say my
wife gave birth to our daughter on May sixteenth. The
next morning, I showed up at the TV studio with

(09:41):
the hospital. Bracelet On did the demos and auditions, went
back to the hospital. You gotta do what you gotta
do as a provider, as a man, as a woman.
You don't want to miss those family moments. I do
wonder if it matters if Scotti Scheffler was like twenty
eighth on the leader board.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
One right now.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, I do think that matters it.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Or even if you're like.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
I would say, even if you were a long shot,
that makes a difference. Right, Like, he's in first place.
There's no way he could leave. I'm sorry. Let me
ask you Covino and Danny g and my future kid
would understand.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
That's that was my question.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Do you think, Let's say you, Steve Covina, if you
found out in the late seventies your dad passed on
something awesome because you were gonna be born, would you
ever be.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Like, Wow, why'd you do that? Dad?

Speaker 1 (10:38):
If his kid in the future finds out, like, no, Dad,
you left the Masters because I was born, his kid
may be mad at him, and then his kid's a weenie.
What do you mean that's the truth? His kid might
be mad they left. Yeah, my dad, I know my
birth was important, but you left the masters exactly. He's
doing it for the family, He's doing it for the legacy,
for his children. It's not just a selfish move. Who

(11:00):
is for everybody involved here. So I think it's also
selfless to miss that opportunity of the birth of your
child and go out there and try to win it
for your family. That's a that's also a very selfless move.
It's not like he doesn't want to be there, right,
But that's the pressure you feel, and that's maybe the
pressure a woman would put on you. And that's also

(11:23):
the fear of doing the right thing. For example, like
you know, women don't forget my ex, and maybe she's
my ex for this reason. But she loves to say
I feel she drove herself to the hospital as a way,
probably to make me look bad, right, And that.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Is true, But it was a scheduled C section. I
was with her, I was with she drove, but I
was with her in the car. Context matters, Yeah, context,
this is the story.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
History is so it was not the story. So my
point in bringing that up is it was always strown
in my face. Just like if Scheffler ever steps out
of line or thinks get bad, you know what, the
wife's gonna say so out of fear he wants to
do the right thing.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
You aren't even.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
There, maybe someone like yeah, but people love to bring
up things like that when they can as ammunition.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
If he leaves, it's because they've had a conversation and
she has said something, she has says something.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
You know what I'm saying, like, I won't.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Forgive you, MASI what would you expect Sean to do?

Speaker 6 (12:26):
Sean was pregnant and it was Game seven of the finals,
I would be like, sorry, bye, you're on your own.
And I would expect the same from him because I'm
never gonna be pregnant, So but I would I would
not expect him to leave.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
This is huge, It's huge, It really is.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
It's an interesting big Yeah. I mean they're both important,
very important both.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Yes, they're both important. But like I was just talking
to James in Virginia, who you guys will talk to
in a few minutes. It is such a magical moment
when you're in that room and you hear your kid
cry for the first time.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
That's why I'm saying, Danny g selfless for him to
even potentially miss that.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Yeah, but it's also matter like he wants to miss that.
Put on that green jacket. I bet that's magical. You
know what. The phones are all lit. We're gonna take
your feedback next.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
No, really, it isn't a matter of what do you
put first, because family's always first. But if you have
an opportunity that is, this is different. You're right, this
is the life lottery. You won the life lottery. If
you're pitching Game seven, if you're in the Super Bowls
a starting quarterback, if you're on the leaderboard number one
at the Masters, what you're going for the heavyweight title.
Guess I feel like something we've seen in movies. Yeah,

(13:33):
you know, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.
People have missed these magical moments for a lot less
than that.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Like you said, your dad was at the strip club
or wherever you.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
So, hey, your feedback will take it next. Give me
on rich having a fun time on a Friday. Hope
you're ready for the week. If not, you if you're
not ready for the week, we're gonna get you ready for
the weekend with you'll kick in.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
You start you start tapping into Grandfather's COFs.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Here ever ready, you know it is, I just got
all excited about Friday. Cavino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio.
Danny g on the phones at eight seven seven ninety
nine on.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Fox, What kick are you on recently?

Speaker 7 (14:06):
You? Uh?

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Are you with Uncle Tito? Are you an old fashioned guy?
You not dip it into the edibles? What is your deal?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Like my drink of choice? Yeah? What are you having?

Speaker 1 (14:14):
A you know Cavino does, which is a mu kan
jack nol Covino does. That is a move I've seen
people do.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
I don't do. He takes a hard seltzer and adds
a little bit of Tito's to it, gives a little
extra oh yeah, little extra pop. No, he listened. I
don't think he invented that. I mean, people, I'm.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Gonna say event that he invented. I can't even take
credit for inventing it.

Speaker 8 (14:34):
It's it's a good because it's the calories you're It's
like it's a good thing because the calories are already
kind of in the seltzer and then you're just adding
a little tea.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah exactly.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
And I also don't want to take credit for that
being the case. Right now, I think I just had
like a little mini baby stroke or something. Anyway, Fosser Iowa,
Sam's dance was really flustered me speaking of babies. Yeah,
but we're going through the phones right now at eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox again where Cavino and Which
live from the ti rack dot com studios, talking about

(15:03):
Scott Scheffler again. He's on the leaderboard the Masters, he's.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
The master Master.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yeah, it's either Bruce Lee Roy or Scott Scheffler right
now or showing up the showgun of Harlem who's the Master.
It could be him, but his wife is prego. She's pregnant,
and he's saying he would leave doesn't matter where he
is on the leaderboard if she went into labor. So
it got us debating here on the show. Does it matter?

(15:31):
Does it matter that he's already amassed over fifty million
dollars in earnings through the PGA.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I guess all of these things matter. There, all factors.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
But you know what, you brought up a good point
last segment, and I'll reiterate Covino sad there's been idiots
that have missed their kid's birth are way less way.
Oh my phone guard was in Vegas. I forgot where
I was there, you know, it's it happens. Let's go
to your phone calls James in Virginia. Our point is

(16:03):
family comes first. But if you're on the leaderboard of
the Masters, scheduled to pitch Game seven of the World Series,
you're in the super Bowl. I'd imagine there's a short
list of I get it right.

Speaker 9 (16:16):
I think you were taking my call gentlemen, Friday, Man,
the Luci Commanders, and look, I'm going to purface it.
I love sports at my whole life surrounded by sports, man.
But I'm gonna be real. I'm gonna hit three points
real quick. One. My mom told me when I was
expecting my first child this earlier late last year. Just
show up for always be there for show up.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Man.

Speaker 9 (16:38):
So that's one thing. Second thing, no one on their
death that ever said, man, I wish I worked another day.
And finally, man, the third thing and the most important
thing until you're in that room, man and you experience that,
it's the greatest experience of your life watching your child
be born. Man, I can't there's no words that can
explain it until you actually experience it. So yeah, man,

(16:59):
lead man, because it's another tournament, but there's never another time.
Was born man, have a great day man on your weekend.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
He made some really great points, really really great points.
But guess what, here's the flip side to that. Again,
it's selfless to want to miss such a beautiful moment,
to do something great for your family's legacy in their
future and to make his future kid proud. But you

(17:29):
know I feel as both points.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
Do you feel like your wife might use that as
AMMO against you in any future?

Speaker 10 (17:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Yeah, you weren't even in the room. I was.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
You have to get me to sign a contract. If
I can.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Skip it, you can't bring this crap up again. You
gotta be contract. You're gonna this. There's one page the one.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Contract says I can't bring the present and you.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Can't bring this crap up for the extent of our marriage.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Sign But my point was you could still be the
greatest that ever was. Just because you missed his one
moment doesn't ruin that for the rest of your life,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Like, yeah, I know he are, he wasn't there, Well,
what was he doing? He was at the Masters. It's
not like he was messing around with his buddy. He
said a poker game.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Listen, dude, there's nothing more satisfying, fulfilling. It wasn't Dad
had a fantasy draft? Then imagine that, Dad, Why weren't
you there? Don't you don't understand.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
What if this fantasy draft was with Mike Trout.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah, Like, let me tell you.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
There's idiotic reasons people miss important events prioritize family. I
just think that there are very few exceptions. And I
think if you're number one on the leaderboard at the Masters,
that's one of those, Like you know this exceptions for
everything in life. There's nothing absolute. Let's go to your
phone calls.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Glenn in La. You're on a Covino on wretch.

Speaker 7 (18:54):
Hey Glenn, with somebody, anybody except young guy topic perspective
on this?

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yeah, what you got?

Speaker 7 (19:02):
So James and Virginia, Man, that was a great call,
great great information. I mean, I agree with that guy,
but my situation was a little different. I'm forty two,
I have one child, she's four and a half now,
and my only child, and I was kind of going
through some issues with Obama at first, and we were
kind of separated, and she gomped me right before the birth,

(19:25):
and by by her choice, not mine, I wasn't able
to be there for the birth, you.

Speaker 9 (19:30):
Know, and that tore me up.

Speaker 7 (19:32):
And I'm still having a hard time dealing with it
on a day to day basis, you know, four or
five years later.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
But it goes back to what I said.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
First of all, out of your control and that's unfortunate, right,
And man, you missed out on something great.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
But does that mean you can't be the greatest? Dad?

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Tell me yourself forward, don't put yourself up, you can't.
You the man Jimmy in Texas? What's up, Jimmy?

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Thank you for the call?

Speaker 11 (19:54):
Man.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (19:55):
Yeah? What's up?

Speaker 11 (19:56):
At an?

Speaker 7 (19:57):
And?

Speaker 9 (20:00):
Hey?

Speaker 11 (20:01):
So man, honestly, yeah, I mean family is everything, right,
I mean I was there for all three of my kids,
and there's nothing more special than you know, they're wiping
them down, kids are crying and all this stuff right
there in the birthroom. And to know that, you know,
I talk to my wife Belly all the time whenever
she was pregnant. For me to just be able to
say hey bye, hey Mama, to say you know, it's okay,

(20:21):
it's okay, and they stop crying to listen for your
voice because they recognize it. Magical, dude, magical. So that
being said, The only way you can miss something like
that is if it is for the family, Like you know,
you have to do a logical decision over an emotional decision.
Is in this case, I think he's right because he's

(20:42):
already got he's already secured the bag, man, and love,
love makes the world go around. But you got to
be able to feed the people on it. So if
you've got to secure a bag like I like this,
like millions of dollars, do what you gotta do. But
if he's already got it in the bank and he's
not doing it except for just personal accolade, This personal
accolade of a child birth, well will trump any green
jacket anything else, then that's just.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
My opinion trump uh Man, Jimmy, you know it's a
corny answer.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
It's a fun debate, right, It is a fun debate,
and I gave you all my flip sides and thoughts
on it. Truthfully, I wouldn't judge the guy either way.
It's his decision. He's a man, it's his decision. I
really wouldn't be judge of his decision in this case.
And you know what else, you don't know the dynamic
of someone else's relationship. For all you know, we don't

(21:30):
know Scotty Shuffler's wife. She could be the most easy
going person, like listen to these She could be listening
to these idiots having a conversation.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
I told Scotty stay if he wants to, if he wants.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
To not, as were based on my own projection, my
own if I put myself.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
In his shoes, right if he can't, I can't see
you in golf shoes. I don't look that good in
golf shoes.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
But you know, if he decided to do this and
that's his decision, I wouldn't be judging of it. I think, Hey,
he's a man, he's a grown man. Grown man can
make the own decisions.

Speaker 10 (22:00):

to get to, and that's why we have a brand
new podcast called over Promised. You see, we're having so
much fun in our two hour show. We never get
to everything, honestly, because this guy is over promised in

(22:34):
things we never have time for.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, you blubber list Jam and me.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Well, you know what it's called over promise. You should
be good at it because you've been over promising women
for years.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Well, it's a Cavino and Rich after show, and we
want you to be a part of it.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
We're gonna be talking sports, of course, but we're also
going to talk life and relationships. And if Rich and
I are arguing about something or we didn't have enough time,
it will continue on our after show.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Called over Promised.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Well, if you don't get enough Covino and Rich, make
sure you check out over Promised and also uncensored by
the way, so maybe we'll go at it even a
little harder.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
It's gonna be the best after show podcast of all time.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
There you go, over promising. Remember you could see it
on YouTube, but definitely join us. Listen Over Promised with
Cadino and Rich on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or
wherever you get your podcasts. Question before we get into
Alan Iverson and a deep thought about the NFL Draft,

(23:26):
which is coming up before you know it. NBA playoffs
before you know it. It's exciting times coming up. We're
in the middle of the Masters e Bay. We were
talking about this dude. In fact, our first initial analysis
of him, I still stand by. I still thought there
was a chance he was the fall guy, but it
doesn't look like that.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Now. Here's the question, though, Lee Major is the fall guy.
He's in custody correct.

Speaker 10 (23:54):
Now.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
When he wasn't in custody when this all started, don't
you think he should have just fled the country?

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Do you think they wouldn't have let him?

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Because when the initial reports came out, like gotcha, like
if that's the case, before there were any real charges
and it was like oh the athletic or uh, you know,
bleacher reporter or ESPN's reporting that e Bay. At that moment,
you don't think he should have just hopped on a plane,
but like, goodbye, I.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Don't know the movie. Can you do that?

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Because it was real there was no real charge. Are
they gonna go track this guy down in Japan?

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Goodbye? Beats me? I do not handle that situation. I
never been on the run on the LAMB.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Yeah, the fugitive, I know, I know he's in custody now,
I'm just saying, like, uh, like P Diddy, he's riding
bicycles in Miami.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Right now, the guys did the guy's doing uh wheels
on the boardwalk. Hey, it's me Diddy.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
If did, he feels like the hammer's coming down. When
do you think he'd escaped to some island that we
can't mess with? I mean, is that what you would do?
I guess, right, what would you go to prison?

Speaker 2 (25:06):
I mean you'd be on a run. Bro, I'm not
Rich would be on the run.

Speaker 8 (25:12):
I guess you can't flee to Japan because we have
a great relationship with them, They're gonna extra date you
back to You'd have to go to somewhere like Malaysia
or some country where like they don't like the US.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I guess that's still better than prison. And I'm not
and I'm not saying, Hey, criminals, you're the guy that
would be on like a high speed chase. Rich would
be like, oh, Jay, dude, let me tell you, I'm
not like either one of these criminals, one worse than
the other. Possibly, But if you're Ebe or Diddy, if

(25:43):
any of those allegations allegedly or true, no did Bro,
No Diddy no Diddy, you're telling me you'd stick around
to see what happens.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
I'm going to party this weekend. But no Diddy.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
If Cavino you knew you were guilty and you were
a piece of garbagia. And I'm not saying we don't
know about did yet. It's all legends. I don't want
to say the wrong thing. I mean, I guess if
you're criminal, But if you know you're a criminal, Manci,
and I guess you have a criminal mindset to run.
If we knew that, you know, there was accusations that
Manzi was stealing millions.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
I wish and you knew you were guilty, Oh, I'd
be out like I one a second, like the people
stick around me.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Arrest me, put me in prison. I would be like
I'd be living in a jungle somewhere.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
But you know, obviously he had been getting away with
literally murder with all the details we're hearing right that
he had.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
Pretended to be him with the bank and like preventing
a million dollars. So maybe he felt a bit invincible
and that nothing was going to happen to him.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Well, he didn't get away with literally murdered girl. That
uses the word literally wrong, like every woman, I know,
wait a second.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Can you punch him your.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Close every woman including you and my wife and everyone,
Oh my god. Literally no, use it or wrong, use
it or wrong. Neil Brennan covers that on his new
Netflix comedy special Definitely Worth the watch.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Literally, hey literally got away with murder.

Speaker 10 (27:09):
No he didn't.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
He didn't murder anyone.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
It's maybe figuratively. I love you, so hey, anything you missed?
E Bay, Scottie Scheffler all that again on the podcast.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
But here's my thought.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
My thought is, if you're in a position to wrap
up that last conversation, we could put it to rest.
If you're in the most unique position, could you know where,
Like we always say, it's like the lottery ticket of life.
If you have a unique scenario. We're not like other
you know, like if you're Scotti Scheffler or Lebron James
or Tom Brady, you're not a regular person. So do

(27:46):
the regular rules of logic apply to you?

Speaker 2 (27:48):
No? They do not. You can end it there, they
do not.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
That being said, speaking of superstars, this is a really
I think it's a funny story. It's supposed to be
a cool story, but it's kind of funny because it
seems like when it comes to the world of statues
to honor people, we just never get it right. There's
an update on that Kobe statue that Danny g I
know you're super proud of, but then when you saw

(28:14):
it you were sort of let down, right, Yeah, it
was misspellings.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Yeah, I was proud the day it was being unveiled,
and then we all saw it and we're like, is
that Ingram the old G League player?

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Yeah? That Kobe? That was one of the storylines, Like
it didn't really look like them, and it.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
Never kind of looks like him, but like a sixty
year old Kobe.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Right then we find out there was all these misspellings
on the statue. The update is they corrected the misspellings
and the errors on the status. Some of these statue makers,
I'm with you, Danny, some of them seemed to be
the equivalent of like a bad caricature drawer at like
gives me like, oh, it looks.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Like me sort of.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
And why is Kobe's arm so long?

Speaker 1 (28:54):
That was definitely one of them, and it's one of three,
so like, man, if they messed up this much on
the first one and all this hoopla around it, and
it was so important to La and to Kobe Bryant
a legend, like how do he mess up like that?
And what's in store for the next two Well, the
Sixers unveiled an Alan Iverson statue on the Legends walk

(29:16):
outside their training facility in Camden, and dude, this is
hilarious to me.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
Anyway, we all thought the same thing when we saw
it in our show.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Danny G nailed it and I could visualize exactly what
he was talking about because the story is.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
Yo, it's kind of small. To quote Jon Favreau in
the movie Rudy, he's so little.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
And then you're thinking, well, hey, I was kind of small, right,
And you're like, no, no, no, it's really small. And
then you see the statue and it's like this little,
tiny statue, and Danny G said the funniest thing, He's like, yo, man,
it looks like one of those Mickey Mouse statues at Disneyland,
the one with Walt Disney.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
I don't know if you guys saw. We also found
this out later.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Apparently the have like a row of different statues at
their training facility that are not as big.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
They definitely look bigger than AI's. But there's like a row, like.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
A like a Hall of Fame row of seventy six
ers former players, and they are smaller in general, but
not still.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
AI looks way small. It's like a shrinking thing statue.
It's it's not much bigger than a starting lineup figures.
It's like a pretty big bottle head. But that is
the narrative. Even if there's other ones, we're only seeing
this one.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
It looks way smaller.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Still, they do a good job on the likeness.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
Well that that was the other part of the story.
AI did comment on it, and apparently he did like it.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
He kissed his statue.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
He's crying after where he was choked up. It's an honor,
that's that's not the point. It's always going to be
an honor. Imagine if we had a statue right put
yourself in these situations, just like the Scottie Scheffer. Think
cool to have a statue. But it's a really small statue.
It looks like someone should photoshop Walt Disney Mickey and
like Allan Iverson right next to him, because it looks

(31:09):
like one of those tiny little Disney things. So the
AI statue is small, but it always seems like we
can't get it right with these things. Man, I have
a question, But if he's not complaining, I guess we
have nothing to really say about it. For all the
legends that are talented enough and blessed enough to get
a statue, they did so much for a franchise or

(31:30):
an organization that they got the statue. You're in Monument
Park at Yankee Stadium, you have a statue outside your arena.
You're enshrined in the Hall of Fame. What percentage of
players do you think carry the level of vanity that
you have, because I guarantee Cavino would never.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Be happy with it.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Oh my hen is not right. Oh my nose doesn't
look like that. Do you think these guys are so odd?
Some of them look stupid?

Speaker 2 (31:56):
They really do. What was the prank look like him?
What was the late night prank James Corden like?

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Was it messy or was it David Beckham where they
played a prank on one of them and unveiled a
really horrific statue.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
There is a famous Ronaldo one. Ronaldo though, no, that
was I mean, that wasn't a prank though?

Speaker 9 (32:16):
Was it?

Speaker 8 (32:16):
No?

Speaker 2 (32:17):
That one was real?

Speaker 5 (32:17):
I think it was a bad Naldo. Then there was
a prank one you're right, right.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, I think it was. I think it was a
Beckham prank Rich from a while back.

Speaker 8 (32:26):
I don't think Ronaldo cried after cried with emotional glee
after he says, but there's.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Something to be said about, like, you know, you've reached
a level of.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Accolades, legendary status where they're going to present you with
something is not asking too much to want to approve
it or you know, want to have a say on
how it looks, or be disappointed if it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
I don't think you're you're a vain guy for for being.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Mad about it was Beckham the statue.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
James Cordon, who was a brit himself, played a prank
on David Beckham on an old Late show episode.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Yeah remember this one.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
It was had a long like like a Bert from
Berton and Ernie head like a long ass head and
Cordon was it the whole the whole joke with that
was that David Beckham. And we learned this in the
documentary about him. He's such a nice guy. He had
a hard time even saying like, yeah, the statue stinks,
like he was so nice that the prank wasn't even

(33:25):
that great.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
He's like, oh, thank you, thank you. Horrifying looking.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Imagine reaching that level of greatness doing and being honored
in that way.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
I'd be disappointed.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
He took a meth head, some guy running through Florida.
Someone made a birthday cake and it didn't look like me.
I'd be mad amatic. How dare you talk badly about Florida?
So anyway, the latest one, the latest story is Alan
iverson the Ai statue. Again, it's outside the practice facility
in Camden, but if he likes it, that's all that matters.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
So that's the update there. What was the worst statue
of all time? Was it that Lucille Ball statue?

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Oh that's a famous one too, Yeah, because it was
like frightening looking. Yeah, there's a again, there's so many
stories of this. My favorite statue fail is that outside
of City Field, where my Mets play, they finally unintended
erected the Tom Seaver statue, and what they didn't account
for was the sunrise and sunset.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Because picture this, he's in his follow through of pitching.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
And his hanging arm, his left arm, his non throwing
arm in the shadows looks like junk between his legs.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
It creates a terrible shadows purpose.

Speaker 5 (34:43):
Yeah, fans have taken pictures of this and posted.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Oh yeah, Tom severs junk, great statue. Yeah, so hey,
it's an honor. I'm sure for anyone to get a statue,
everyone's probably gonna say, no, you think that looks enough
like me, Like you get a caricature, Like I said,
Disney with your kids, just exaggerate your features. These statues,
they do their best, but it does feel though, like

(35:06):
most statues, there's some type of mistake made.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Maybe the sculpting game is not the attention to detail.

Speaker 8 (35:12):
There's actually another speaking of junk, there's another Ronaldo statue
where the bulge is quite present. If you look this
up you can find it. It's like the fourth thing
on Ronaldo's statues. So yeah, it's hard to get it right.
It's your phone wallpaper, right, let's that's right.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Yeah, you think of it, imagine Ronaldo, imagine Ronaldo's like es.
That's a very endearing to meet it.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
I don't get it. There's always an issue with this stuff,
always always. So anyway, that's the update.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Well, you know, I did want to talk a little
bit about the NFL Draft, which is a couple of
weeks away, and Tom Brady speaking of the yesl speak
of the NFL. We can hop knobbing lots to get
to Danny g and I, you know, before the show,
we were just saying, how like, assessing these college quarterbacks
are so tricky, and you know, you leave it to
the melk Kuipers of the world and the experts, and
they're wrong half the time.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Also, mel Kuiper, I thought that was Count Choculin. That
was Count Jo two. Three draft picks the same guy,
same guy.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
I'm no, you see a guy like mel Kuiper, and
it's outside of Caleb Williams going number one. It really
is wild to think that these teams are crossing their
fingers and really again, think of the layers Cabino, what
program they played for, what coach they played under, what's
their ceiling versus what they've done so far, And you've

(36:42):
seen this come into play big schools winning history. Maybe
that quarterback was more of just a plug and play
and anyone would have really done well with the you know,
receivers or line they had. Then you might say, well,
a smaller school quarterback that didn't have all those stars

(37:02):
around them, maybe they's your guy. So there's so many
layers to drafting a quarterback, and the teams are trying
to go over this now. But it posed a question
that I've been hearing people say about Caleb Williams. So
think about this and then we're gonna break it down next.
If Caleb Williams is a quote generational guy, the likes

(37:23):
of an Andrew luck or Peyton Manning.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Why do you say it like that? Do you think
he's not?

Speaker 1 (37:29):
I don't know. Do you think that's just like an
overuse I feel like sentiment. Maybe he is, but I
feel like we said that with Trevor Lawrence. And Trevor
Lawrence is a really good quarterback. What has he really
done anything?

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Yet?

Speaker 1 (37:46):
Justin Herbert people spoke a big game about him. So
your thoughts on Caleb Williams and this little nugget I
heard there are some people in the football world that
are saying, well, if the Bears take this generational talent
and combine that with some of the decent moves they
made in the off season, already, should the Bears make

(38:08):
the playoffs, You're not gonna fight about the economy we're
gonna fight about Kayleb Williams.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
Well, you can't complain that things are expensive. They go
hand in hand. Manzi is there is this what in
and out burger?

Speaker 1 (38:26):
The burgers went up thirty cents in the past, you know,
two days, so that it goes hand in hand. I
think you got the number one answer.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
I think it is. Well, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
I mean, I don't think it's Chippota.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
I don't every week went up.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
I know she brought me Chapota.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
I have it burger. It cost me burg burgers.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Of an impossible burger.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
If I go to Carls Junior and I get like
a meal and it's an impossible burger, I'm paying about
twenty dollars.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
I'm not kidding.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
People say that.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
About for people that eat meet months of people say
five guys is like you go to five guys, it's
like twenty bucks.

Speaker 11 (38:57):
It is it is.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
I The burgers to me are I can't believe how
expensive they are. I feel like Chipotle. Yeah, it's expensive, but.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
It's also a lot of food and it seems clean, healthy,
Like you know what I'm saying, It's different, Like I
don't see I know it's fast food.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
But I don't see it like that.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
Moncey's right, unless you're a glutton. Right, if you could
like curb yourself a little bit, yeah, you could have
two meals out of your one breedle right, Like you
could have a dinner and like save some for tomorrow's lunch.

Speaker 5 (39:25):
You also could be kind of pushy and be like
a more rice, a little more rice, a little more yeah.

Speaker 8 (39:30):
Bully, bully in the high school, Danny, I could you
have to lean on them? They won't be able to
fold it if you have too much.

Speaker 5 (39:38):
If I said more run, yeah, because the first go around,
you know, they put half a scoop and you're like, no, no, no,
I need a little more.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
I would say, I'm like, well, is your name Johnny
Chipotlet for the profits? Give me more chicken? But before
you give me use Danny?

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Could you and I every day when we worked in
New York City it's serious s ex And we also
worked at s n Y the Channel, the place, the
Mets and the Jets. When we were there every day
for like a year or so of our lives, Cavino
and I would always go get Subway sandwiches for lunch.
Five dollars, dude, five dollar long. I took my daughter

(40:14):
to Subway the other day. I was like, boy, what
do you want to get?

Speaker 2 (40:16):
Buddy? Want to get sandwiches? A foot long?

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Was like eighteen ninety ninety avocado turkey thing. I was like,
a fulllog's eighteen. You know they're full on leaning in
on the new advertisement. The new campaign is six dollars
six inch. Oh goodness, remember five dollars long.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
It's now six dollars six.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
I also felt like it went down in quality. It's
been a while since I had Subway, but I thought,
like last time I ate it, I was like, this
is garbage.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Not their cookies, though they're cookies. Their soggy cookies are
the only.

Speaker 5 (40:45):
Thing that's five dollars on their menus.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
The cookies.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
I love their cookie Danny, d the treat you and
the family get that, you're you won't stop eating, but
you're disgusted at how expensive it got.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
This is easy.

Speaker 5 (40:56):
Saturday morning, we go to Starbucks. Two coffees, two breakfast,
sandwhich is twenty five dollars.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Yeah, what do you get, Danny?

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Do you get the little egg white thing or do
you get the sausage Goda the Gouda one.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
Yeah, it's shaken gouda.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Yeah, that's that's to.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
Be Goodah for twenty five bucks, it's better be golden guda. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (41:14):
I was saying, I will go to Taco Bell and
buy a lot of ola carte items, and it gets
it when it's approaching, don't you dare?

Speaker 2 (41:23):
Twenty five dollars?

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Right?

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Because what did you get seventeen tacos money?

Speaker 2 (41:29):
It's a little luxury, that's right. I'll a la carte
is gonna i'lla cost you. I will, I'll shell it out.

Speaker 8 (41:36):
But I'm like, if I'm spending twenty seven dollars at
Taco Bell, first of all, I have a problem.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
Second of all, it's kind of Taco Bell is the
most affordable.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
It's gone up, not anymore gone. I'll tell you what
Manci I grew with. That was the thing's gone up
on a late night where I got some munchie action
going on. If I get like two cheesy Gordina crunches
like and like mad on the list for me hard
taco and maybe like a chaloupa, it's like eighteen twenty
dollars from me.

Speaker 3 (41:58):
Just me, maybe maybe I just only what you guys
eat at taco about all give.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
You one you get stuff without meat, so it's a
little cheaper.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
But like, well, yeah, okay, yeah yeah, let me give you.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
One more and then we'll get to your update and
we'll get to Cable Williams. One more.

Speaker 1 (42:09):
Can you know, Yeah, when was the last time you
took your beautiful teenage daughter out for a little daddy
daughter ice cream? All the time, because I'll go to
Baskin Robbins and the little tiny kid's cup and they
put a little dolphin fin or a little dinosaur tail
to make it look all cute.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
But everything's at airport prices nowadays.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
One one scoop, But what a kids get like bubblegum
ice cream or cutting candy candy? One scoop with sprinkles
with a little dinosaur tail. It's like six bucks, no hard,
I can make this, guys.

Speaker 8 (42:43):
I actually have exclusive audio of Rich at the ice
cream shop behind that little cone.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
That'll be uh ninety four dollars exclusive audio right there.

Speaker 5 (42:58):
It was a long lead up for that audio.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
I like it, Sam, it was good. I like you
all right.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
Well, hey, why is the expectation a little too high
for Kleb Williams let me explain, and we'll go to
Manzi's update and we'll take your feedback right here on
Fox Sports. Ready, I've heard people say the Bears have
made some good moves football. That's our bread and butter
here in Cavin and rich that's everyone's bread and butter.
Let's be honest, right, nflu Tortillac on Mantequille, which goes

(43:24):
for ten dollars a pop. Now, I'll talk football with anyone.
I feel like it's most people's strength when they're talking
about sports. You see some of the great moves the
Bears have made. The Bears just seem to have no
real culture though, right, can you really define what the
Bears are about? Coaching, staff, players. It's a bit about
the Texas Rangers.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Man. You know, sometimes we don't know. Sometimes there's things
we just don't know. The Bears they're buying into it.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
The Bears have made the postseason I think three times
in the last fifteen years, something like not impressive. But
when people say Caleb Williams is a generational guy, a
guy that will take your team to the Promised Land,
I don't hate that enthusiasm and statement, But you got
to play a little game called, well, then who starts

(44:15):
sucking because there's only so many spots?

Speaker 2 (44:19):
Think of it like.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
A TV schedule, or I'll be honest, like a radio
shit like when we got here, right to Fox Sports
Radio for them to make room for Cavino Rich, what
do they have to do? They took an hour off
a gott Leep show and they got rid of that
Vegas dude. Right, what Vegas dude? Terry Fader, No Carratop

(44:42):
just kidding, so great, guys. So point is, when there's
no spot, you're out of luck. So when I say spot,
i'm talking postseason spots. Yeah, there's four division winners, there's
three wild cards. I understand it. But I want you
to tell me, then, who goes with a straight face

(45:03):
or gay face? You can tell me what any face?
Tell me who in the NFC goes in the wrong
direction now, because if you ask me, I'm saying Niners
are in. I'm saying that the Packers and the Lions
both removed from Gracy.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Someone else to fall. When you brought this up, I
said the same thing yesterday.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
It's like Tom Brady recently was quoted as saying that
Josh Allen could be the next winning quarterback, someone that
doesn't have one, that will get one he goes. But
in order for that to happen, well, then Patrick Mahomes
has to lose, and so does Lamar Jackson, Lamar John Burrow.
What I'm just saying right now, if you're saying that
Caleb Williams is a generational quarterback and they're playoff bound,

(45:46):
well then something's gotta get I think playoff boun If
I'm a fan of the Bears, I love the aspirations,
I love the enthusiasm, I love the positivity. But the
reality is the Lions just blew the NFC championship game
against the Niners. The Packers you could argue, did that
against the Niners, and then there in the divisional round

(46:06):
those two teams, Jordan Love came into his own. So
it's gonna be tough in that division, let alone. Who
knows what Minnesota is gonna do with their quarterback position.
Then you go to the AFC East, Someone's gonna win
the division, whether it be likely the Cowboys or Eagles,
and then the other team will likely be a wildcard.
So now you got two spots locked up in the East,

(46:28):
likely two spots in the North the forty nine ers,
whoever wins the South? You forget Atlanta now has Kirk Cousins,
Baker Mayfield played Hella Good last year. So my question
is not of how good Caleb Williams could be in
the NFL. It's which team then takes a big step
backwards and we're forgetting the Rams who played You're forgetting

(46:49):
the Lions in that division, the Lions and the Packers Lions. Yeah,
like that's that's a stacked division. So but Kevino also
think who ended the season hot?

Speaker 2 (46:59):
Are the anyone? The Rams?

Speaker 1 (47:01):
The Rams are I believe six and one or seven
to one in the second half of the year and
they lost a tough one.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
To the Rams ended up Penn seven right after your
forty nine er.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
Yeah, so the question really is not questioning the talent
level and what Kayleb Williams could bring. The question becomes
who drops off? Because for someone to get in, someone
else needs to poop the bed, right Who in the
NFC takes a big step back If you think a
guy like Kayleb Williams could all of a sudden just

(47:30):
lead this team.

Speaker 5 (47:31):
I don't think that the Bears are going to slide
in and back to the playoffs in his first season.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Minnesota is always competitive too, Let's not forget that. And
then you say, well, there's other teams that are trying
to make a big step forwards. You're only going to
get better. Remember how they're still young and they played Yeah,
so yeah, I think it's a great point. You could
see that all day. But then it always the flip
side of it.

Speaker 5 (47:57):
I acknowledge they're building something good. And Caleb Williams I
think is going to be a good pro. But I'd
be afraid of him in Chicago in the second season
he's at the home.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
Yeah, and again the playoff. You know what, this goes
against my point, but I can handle it. Every year,
what do they say, like half the playoff teams are
new from the previous season. So based on the stats
and based on the history of the NFL, and as
I like to say, the parody, the parody of the

(48:29):
NFL would tell you that, you know, rich, some of
those teams you think will be back next year won't
be Remember Dan Campbell said hard to get back here.

Speaker 2 (48:38):
We don't know. Let's go to Moncy for an update.
What's up, Mons Manty? You feeling me? On that or one,
because Caleb Williams could be great, but that means someone
else needs to slip.

Speaker 4 (48:47):
Yeah, that's a very good point, right, yep, very good point.
But everyone is expecting him to be great.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Poor kid.

Speaker 3 (48:54):
A lot of a lot of expectation on him.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
It's like, if you are a pitch analogieser endless, so
stop me. But if you're in, if you're a pitcher
for the Dodgers, you're not going to get in the
rotation list. Someone gets injured, work underperforms. You don't just
get the job because oh you're good, someone else needs
to fall off.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
Yeah, you make an excellent point, all right.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
An update Fellas on the EPIT Misuhara situation. Yes, he
turned himself into authorities today. He was in court in LA.
According to the Athletic Ipe did not enter a plea
deal was released on twenty five thousand dollars bond. He
isn't allowed to contact sho Heyo Tani or leave the
Central District District of California without permission. He will also

(49:36):
be required to undergo a gambler's addiction program, and his
arraignment hearing is scheduled.

Speaker 3 (49:41):
For May ninth.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Before we get to the weekend hob nobin. I just
got to see if Manzi is like a girlfriend material
wifey material.

Speaker 2 (49:49):
I mean, of course he is. Hello, But Manzi have
a question. Do you often leave.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
Leftovers of your plate for your boyfriend seawan or do
you always like finish.

Speaker 2 (49:59):
What's up on your plate? No, he finishes what I
don't make you great? Makes you agreed?

Speaker 1 (50:05):
Very girl, I already know, as I call her Briella,
one of the great editors here.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
She was like, do you want the rest of my
guaking chips? I'm like, you are like the perfect woman.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
That's not that's a woman, a woman trying to sabotage
her man and take him out of the game.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Yeah, that's a line my husband. My wife looks at
me and she's like, do you realize what you do?
I go, what do you do? What do I do?
She said, you finish your food, and she goes the
minute you finish your food, she's like, you don't realize
you just stare at my plate waiting to see what
I want fish.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
Yeah, but I think every guy does that. Cavino, you're
just a savage. Maybe that's true. Let's go weekend hob
for the weekend.

Speaker 10 (50:46):
You're winning bets for talking points. If you get stuck
socializing you ever done anything dangerous?

Speaker 4 (50:50):
Ever?

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Dance the devil in the panel line.

Speaker 1 (50:53):
Friday brings us weekend, hob No, all right, I'm gonna
make it quick. This doesn't air till Monday. But set

Speaker 1 (51:11):
April fifteenth, I'm part of a new music series on
Access TV AXSTVS.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
Your local listing called Rock Nerds. No, it's called Music Mayhem.

Speaker 1 (51:20):
It's about the chaos and scandals and destruction of rock stars.
And I'm one of the guys on the show. That
premiere is Monday night. Set your DVR, Music Mayhem, Access TV.

Speaker 2 (51:30):

Speaker 1 (51:31):
We're all gonna watch it because it's Cavino again. Access
TV Music Mayhem.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
I saw Covine on the trailer with the least insightful analysis.
My analysis is terrible. What was it they were asking
you about the rise and fall of Ozzy Osbourne?

Speaker 2 (51:43):
And what did you say when it comes to Ozzy Osbourne.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
There's tons of ups and downs. When you think of
his life, it's just ups and downs. I'm like, that's
your analysis. I don't know, so we shake it out.
They paid you for that exactly. Set the dvr and
next weekend right the big Haney Garcia fight. So this weekend,
check out forty Days Hainy Garcia on to Own, look

(52:07):
it up on YouTube and Inside Hany Versus Garcia Family
Affair that's on YouTube again. This is a series that
follows the fighters. Just check YouTube and get ready for
the fight next week. And Rich Neil Brennan on Netflix.
Highly recommend it. He's the guy that co writes with
Dave Chappelle. Very funny as a new special.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
I enjoyed it. Check it out.

Speaker 1 (52:29):
Well, you have still not watched it, so let me
start by saying, HBO Max for the people that are
late to the party. The Curby Your Enthusiasm finale was epic.

Speaker 2 (52:39):
It was pretty dead prett day, pretty good. I'm gonna
start watching the final season this weekend.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
Jerry Seinfeld's hairline comeback Player of the Year. Guy's got
a full head of hair again, so check out Seinfeld
on the Curb finale. This is a new show on
Amazon Prime. Sarah and I have been watching My wife
and I have been watching Fallout, based on a video game.
It's like an apocalyptic like a couple hundred years in
the future, and it seems like pretty fun. It's then
the same people that did the Boys on Amazon's Boys.

(53:06):
It's like satirical yet like violence. So Fallout the same
yet Fallout, Fallout, Fallout Down and I was Sam played
Billy Joel coming out of the commercial break. If you're
an East Coast Billy Joel guy, like I am. One
hundredth show at Madison Square Garden Sunday night on CBS.

Speaker 5 (53:22):
Great new show on Apple TV called Sugar. Colin Ferrell
stars in it. He's a private investigator. It's got an
old Hollywood feel to it. It's really good.

Speaker 1 (53:31):
You I get Danny g gives good recommendations. That Steve
Martin documentary you recommended.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
I liked it a lot. Yeah, perfect, Wallison.

Speaker 1 (53:37):
