(00:22):
I'm the guy that always laughs at like, why would
you buy the All Star jersey? Why would you buy
the alternate jersey? Why would you buy that? I always
feel like the jersey to buy is the home standard.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Let me answer that basic rich Like you, they want
other options, So that's why you would buy those other things,
because you usually only have so many options of your
team jerseys.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
But I'm saying Cavino, Danny g feels me. I think
Danny like, for instance, if I go to a forty
nine Ers game, I see people wearing the red home jerseys.
Maybe that alternate with the shadows on the numbers or
the road whites. Yeah, occasionally you'll see some Vato loco
wearing a gold jersey with black They're not nerds like you,
that's why, because they want options and that Yeah, because

(01:04):
that's cool. It's not though Why would you limit yourself
to just the home and away?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
They have other ones.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
I recently ordered a show heyo tawny black and gold
Dodgers Jersey.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
See, you're one of those guys. I don't like.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Sure that you sound like a basic dude who just
wants to won Jersey. If there's options, like you want
to get those just as a fan or collector and rich.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
You love these City Connect Mets jerseys, shockingly or not.
They are raider colors.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
That silver and black with a little purple, like a
little ting.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I'll give you.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yeah, there's you know, the little button on top of
the hat that's like a pinkish purple, and the Nike
swoosh there's a little again there's like little touches of
purple on it, which really okay.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I see that little highlight.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
And the Mets debuted it online and even I, as
a Yankees fan, are like, wow, man, those are nice.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
I saw the hats first, the hats.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
There's so much detailed to the City Connect jerseys for
every team that's released theirs like little nods like for example,
Philadelphia got some criticism, but I thought they were doped
to Phillies. Had the Liberty Bell on it, all these
nods to the city and New York put all these
details to the subway system, to New York, to the skyline,
and they're gray with a little touch of purple. And

(02:20):
they debut them officially on the field, not this weekend,
but next weekend. Eight teams debut their jerseys this season,
and only two teams don't have the city connects, those
teams being the my New York Yankees.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
For obvious reasons, and and if it's not obvious, it's
because you know, tradition and prime, the pinstripes and old
school and you know, I'll tell you my feelings on that.
And the Oakland A's are the other team that don't
have a city connect jersey.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
I think because they don't have the they don't have
the money to do it. dB, what do you think
about this city connection?

Speaker 5 (02:58):
You know?

Speaker 6 (02:58):
And Giveno did a great JOm laying it out there,
but you're right the more and more you dive into it,
I was just informed with the ninety second video that
the Mets made about how everything is tied in so
much so the purple that you guys talked about is
apparently the color of the seven trains, the.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Seven line that goes to Queens. If you know Manhattan,
you take from Midtown through Queens to get to the
Shay Stadium now City Field stop the seven in a circle?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Is that purple? That's how cool is that?

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
It's really really neat. Yeah, that's why they show the
tracks in the background.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
All these cool little easter eggs paying homage to the
city they're from. And as a Yankees fan, I'm on
the outside looking in, Like I'm Aaron Lewis from Stained
and I'm sitting here all sad, saying, well, where's my
other options?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Zere's my outside.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Yeah, that's why I'm a little bitter and angry about it,
Rich because you've got these options. You're like, no, I
like the basic jerseys, and I'm like, no, I wish
I had more options. And I'm usually one of those
guys like my girlfriend. I was talking to my girlfriend
about this and she goes, this sounds like a typical
you move, and that's probably why you like the Yankees.
I'm like, why, because I'm a little old school and
I like tradition. I don't like all that stuff. She's

(04:07):
like no, because you're usually the guy who's the stick
in the mud, that won't do the fun thing, that
won't ride the bulle at the party, that won't wear
the pink shirt at the all pink party. You know,
the guy that's refusing to do what everybody else does.
And I'm like, you know what, though, for the first
time and forever, Rich, maybe forever, ever, ever, forever, I

(04:31):
feel like the Yankees are really dropping the ball on
this one.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Man.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I do feel like, Wow, I wish we had one,
and I really really do admire your Mets City Connects
and the other teams City Connects.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
You did call me a basic rich because I usually
do only like the official jersey of a team to purchase,
but you didn't let me finish. I was going to say,
this is the first time where I'm looking at this
Met City connect like, yo, I may actually buy one
with the NYC the silver and black and a little
tinge of that subway how purple?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
How could you write? Man? And I really think the
Yankees are.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Man, they're really dating themselves by sticking to the well
it's just the pinstripes.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah, well, just the pin strips in the road grays
for the Yankees. But I said to Cavino this morning.
I hit them up when they debuted the Jerseys. I said,
you know, the Yankees are dropping the ball, because if
they had some cool I'm not saying they need the
Brooklyn Nets graffiti fonts, but if they did some Bronx Bombers,
black and white, some cool New York City vibe with

(05:36):
the little Empire State building, what they're like leaving money
on the table.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
You don't think Yankee fans would buy the hell out
of those.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
And that's why I was confused about the Oakland A's
being the only other team to not be offering a
city connect Jersey for their fans and for the team.
It's like, don't you think they could use that extra
money or they can't afford it. I don't get that
they're not very connected to the city.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Well yeah, maybe there is no real connection.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
But it's the first time ever I think that I
want to throw tradition aside and say no, it's time
to jump on the new trend and innovate or die
and get some cool new options out there.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
And you'll see.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Again eight new debuts this season, and I think you
support your team, and I think it gives you another
option to wear something different, and even the ones that
were criticized, like the Phillies ones, I think they're really
cool and I think the king of them all and
I hate to say it, the coolest ones by far
our richest Mets Sitney connect jerseys and hats. There's another

(06:38):
one that got a lot of love over the last
couple of years. Some criticized that first. In fact, Keith
Hernandez of the Mets criticized it, but it seems a
consensus the Washington Nationals with the cherry blossoms.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
It's cool. Keith's old school.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
So Keith Hernandez was like, eh, I mean, girl, men
have flowers on their jerseys, but those were pretty sweet.
Those are the number one selling City Connect. I was
gonna say, like, I get his old school stance on that,
but it's different.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
It's another option. Is kind of cool. I'm not hating
on it at all. And if you're like the one
dude who doesn't know what we're talking about, the MLB
and each team except for the Yankees and the A's
are just offering an official alternate jersey that they're wearing,
you know, for the past few years. But again, eight
teams debut theres this year, and I like what they're

(07:28):
doing in MLB, and it just goes to show you
that they're doing what they can to make it more fun,
to make it cooler, to expand the brands a little bit,
to get fans excited about something different, And as a
Yankees fan, I feel like, man, they need to get
on board and at least switch it up a little bit.
It's one thing to stick to their rules of no

(07:48):
beards and facial hair and things like that, but to
drop the ball on this one and to give the
fans another option, I think that's kind of lame. But
the side note is again, eight teams debut and you
gotta see riches because they're officially out now, and yeah,
it's gonna look sweet on the field next weekend.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Now the caveat not so much caveat. But the thing
that I want to make clear for those that don't
really know, every team has their home and away.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
A lot of teams have the alternate.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Black jersey or the Friday jersey they wear. The city
connect is usually a completely different color font vibe from
the rest of the uniforms.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
It's so much to the city. Yeah, to the city.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
It has nothing to do with the color, scheme, logo
or font of the team. It could be like like
Philly Philly had nothing to do with the Philly's logo.
It was some sort of cool font and very very
downtown Philly blue. So anyway, city Connects are out Yankees
as the only two to not do it. And I

(08:49):
know Dan Bayer, even though he's a Cavino guy, Dan's
also him and I bond over uniforms and logos and
details with Dan is always great with his analysis of
our takes. And the take here is where Rich is
normally the guy who doesn't like getting new jerseys.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
You're down to get the city connect.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
I think it to me the guy who's usually tradition
and nah, you don't do that's corny, and Yankees do
it the Yankee way. I'm wishing Nate got on board
and they actually had another option, and I wish they
had a City connect. I was gonna say, Dan Bayer,
you love a uniform logo game, it's one of your interests. Yes, Now,
two other things the NBA I think is on the

(09:30):
forefront of all these ridiculous alternate uniforms I give you,
like each team has a plethora.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
It's ridiculous of uniforms to choose from.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
But the NFL, if you want to throw another sport,
and didn't they just approve another helmet option.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Yes, this coming sea.

Speaker 6 (09:43):
Yeah, three helmets can be used, three different helmets. Lions
unveiled their new uniform set last night. Broncos are going
to do theirs next week. So yeah, there's a lot
of new uniform stuff. I actually think that the NBA
goes too far in terms of what they do. I
think Major League Baseball kind of has it right. They've
done the Friday uniform stuff before as well. But it

(10:04):
also shows you, guys that if you do it right
on what a home run, it can be like you know,
like there's a I think there's a very fine line
of just you know, nailing it, hitting the nail on
the head. And I think that the Mets did that.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
You know, a world of haters.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Where as we always say people hate change, people hate
new this must be so good because I haven't heard
anyone be like there's stinks like that.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
It's pretty stole it.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Yeah, the Met's got to be pretty happy with their
city connect. But you know, I saw a lot of
teams like Danny g the forty nine ers and the
Raiders teams that are silver or gold or have you know,
have that color scheme. I've seen a couple mock ups
of people saying, wh what if they went with a
metallic helmet? Yeah, like if the Raiders went with like
a strike not just the silver, like a like a

(10:53):
shiny chrome. Yeah, because they're saying the Niners are there's
a possibility Niners break out some gold metallic helmet.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
And for years there's been Raider fans that have mocked
up the all black helmet and black uniform for the Raiders,
with the accent being that that silver chrome.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Oh see, that's just more options for Danny J. Come
in with a chromed down fitted hat.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
The Raiders need to agree to do it, though, Cove.
You know, they're kind of like their Yankees, your Yankees.
They are a little bit stuck in their ways with
a uniform. They don't like to mess with their uniforms.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah, man, that's just you know what it is. That's
no fun for the fans.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
You know, you got to you gotta win over these
young guys for sure and make it fun for everybody.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Especially baseball, especially baseball.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Well, so you know, Rich, props to you as a
guy that doesn't wear a hat.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
I think you got to get that new Mets hat too.
You gotta at least buy it for your son. Props
to me, you should tell people I designed them. Yeah,
Rich Davis and on the process. So City CANNECKX enjoy
your baseball this weekend. But other stuff, we want to
get to Ryan Garcia. There's beef. You know, he hates
the Mets. They kicked him out of City Field. We'll
talk about the Ryan Garcia Devin Haney fight.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
There's just so much. Yeah, it just got more complicated.
We'll get to that.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Of course, the NBA, we got the final two playing
games and the playoffs officially start tomorrow, so we'll break
down a little NBA. And we're less than a week
until the NFL Draft. And when I was in the
lobby earlier today and just chopping it up with dB,
Dan Byer and I were talking about how every team,
don't you feel, Cavino, like every team is just so

(12:24):
desperately looking for their quarterback, Like Danny I saw. The
headline was like the Raiders, what are they willing to
trade to get a top three pick.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Could they move up to number two or three?

Speaker 1 (12:34):
It's just so funny how we're they're all so desperate
to be like, I need that young quarterback out of
college because I think we're seeing that if you could
win with a young quarterback, what an advantage that is
a lah Brock.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Party, Allah Brock party, and pay little for that and
build around him with some superstars.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Because when that windows, when that window closes, you see
what's happening in Miami, They're like, oh, do we have
to pay two?

Speaker 4 (13:00):
So also, this is the draft to get a quarterback
because the class next year, next draft, there's not going
to be six quarterbacks going in the first top of
the first round.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
No. Ye. Honestly, if you have a mid first rounder,
there'll be a decent quarterback that could fall to you.
But you may have a guy in mind. So NFL Draft,
so a lot going on. But I did want to
ask you, guys a Randall question, more of a hypothetical,
more of a has this ever happened to you?

Speaker 3 (13:26):
The question is have you ever vouched for someone? Athletically?
Let me explain.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
So I have a buddy coming into town this weekend
and he's visiting with his family.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Now, this is a guy I've known my whole life.
My buddy Mike.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
We've played little league together, went to high school. He
went to Syracuse as well. This is like my only
friend that every step of the way from kindergarten, little league,
elementary school, went to the same college.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
So this is like a lifetime friend.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
We played and logged more hours of whiffleball, maybe Cavino
than anyone.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Maybe except you because you were a whiffleball champ.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yeah, this guy played ball with Kill the man with
the ball manhun tackle football, whiffleball. This is like a
childhood bro. Now, I know back in the day he
could ball. He was a good athlete. The little guy.
You know, he's shorter, but he's like a good athlete,
Like he's quick, he's.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
I mean, look it out too vague.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Yeah, So this weekend he's coming to town and I
have a softball game. Now, of course, if he's like, dude,
i'm visiting, I would I would skip the game.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
But he's like, dude, don't skip your game.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
I get a call from the guy that runs my
team with just the most random Hey, a couple guys
are on vacation this week. Does anyone know someone that'll
fill in. We're allowed to have a fill in this week.
I'm like, so crazy, my buddy he could do it,
and he's like, yeah, I love to. But now I
feel like.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
So everybody Mike didn't even have. He's like, dude, let's
go out. That says a lot in itself.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
So my thought is, have you ever vouch for someone?
Because I have been on co ed teams, I played
into mural sports, basketball, softball. I've done these things where
someone vouches for someone like, oh my my buddy's good,
or some guy saying, oh my wife could be our
girl on the co ed team.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
She's good, and oh she's not. Well, that's that's the rule.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
The first role in this conversation already is to never
over sell, right, It's always to undersell and overproduce. Yeah,
don't oversell anybody. So if I were you, I wouldn't
oversell your your buddy. Oh no, that puts him in
an awkward spot. But you are vouching for him. Yeah
he plays, he's pretty good. Yeah, but I wonder how

(15:47):
many times that has resulted in an embarrassing scenario. I remember,
I remember playing in a co ed league and you know,
this is a rare thing because anyone that's ever played
co ED know is that you're always short a girl
like we need girl, we needed a guy, like we
don't have enough guys. One of the girls said, my
boyfriend will play with us. This guy rolls up and

(16:09):
I'm like, wow, looks like an athlete. Had to be
like six one six y two. He was ripped, look
like he.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Did CrossFit by what his glutes. But I look at
his ass.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
I was like, oh, crossword for sure, looks like a
CrossFit kind of guy.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
And I looked at this guy. He looked.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
He looked like a He looked like Michael Vick, almost
like he had speed. This guy struck out three times.
Oh he saw it. He was one of those athletic guys.
And not only does at the gym, but now what
spons for him?

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Yeah exactly. So if that's your boy, and you know
you hold on.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
I know your friend Mike, and I could tell you
your friend Mike's not going to strike down or really
play that bad. But again, a lot changes in a
ten year span when the last time he played with
him right now, So if he does, though, not only
does it make him look bad, but it makes Rich
who vouched for him look bad.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Well, you know that's decos or anything, not just sports.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
So you could vouch for a buddy like, yeah, I'm
bringing my buddy Doug to trivia night and all of
a sudden Doug doesn't know nothing.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yea, yeah, some example, No you vouch for.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
You know, Oh, my girlfriend's a great cook, and all
of a sudden, it's like, now she's not all of
a sudden, like you know, there's always examples.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
Usually her meatloaf is usually better. Oh yeah, oh.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
My uncle's a grilling expert, burns all the steaks, you know,
like there's always there's always that story. So it happens.
So we want to hear your story.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Is there anything Rich should know before bringing his buddy
to the game. Is there anything he should do vouching
for a friend athletically or just in life? Because I
have a few random stories eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox, And of course you could always hit us
up at Covino and Rich and we still got to
talk a rod like Rich said, the fight, all the
drama and weekend hobnobbing, what you need to watch this weekend?

Speaker 1 (17:54):
And of course today's the day we figure out finally
who of the final postseason teams.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
In the NBA.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
So little NBA, little a Rod, little NFL, little of everything.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
It's a Friday having fun.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Gotta check the podcast search Cavino and Rich We talked
about the more impactful loss, was it Zion or Jimmy Butler,
and most of us agreed that it was Jimmy Butler.
He's playoff Jimmy and they have a lack of superstars,
but seems like the Pelicans got a little more as
far as stepping up, And then Dan Byer said, but yeah,
it would have been cool to see Zion and what

(18:28):
he would be able to bring in that moment. So
that's more impactful either way. Two big losses and some
really good and important games tonight. Yeah, I mean, honestly,
how much better would tonight's games be if I was
like that?

Speaker 3 (18:39):
I said good, I didn't say great. I mean if I.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Told you they were like the final do or die
playoff spot Zion one game, Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Then yeah, really really besides dearon Fox, the two biggest
stars and of course, uh Chicago, I guess Dear.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Rosen yet but you know the Rosen out of bio.
I guess uh you know what, though I know you're
gonna say save it for weekend hob nobn But I
gotta ask you when you look at the weekend playoff
series as we get the first round underway, I think
there's three series that are just clearly the ones that
are fun. You tell me which one gives you a

(19:15):
little tingle? Which one are you like, Oh, that's the one?

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Is it tingle in my Fox Sports dingle? Yes?

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yes, in your baked potato and your okay Idaho pants?

Speaker 3 (19:27):
Lakers and Nuggies?

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Do we want to see if Lebron you know, shuts
everyone up because what did he say?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Hell, we can't live in the past. It's not about
what happened.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
So I mean, how does that Matt excite you that
that's even if you don't like Lebron, that's a great one.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah, Sixers Nicks. Knicks are legit Sixers. You know, we've
trusted the process for a long time. Is it gonna happen?
And I think the one that it's sort of a
shame that they pulled each other in the first round
because they both had solid years, the Mavericks and Clippers.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
I mean, maybe because I live in LA and Danny
G gets me hyped about the Lakers. It's clearly Lakers
Nuggets there. That's the most type game.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
I think Clippers were playing so good right before the
All Star break and then so badly once play resumed.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
You know what it's like, Danny G. I mean, I
know it's a long season, and I asked a Saturday
night game for a reason. I know there's a lot
of rest, and you know, even though they try to
cut back on load management, I got it. I gotta say,
sometimes looking at a team's record in any sport, it's
just not reflective of who they are. Because Danny, there's

(20:37):
teams that, even in the NFL, they could stumble to
the playoffs and still be in first place.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
And then there's teams that, like last year, look at
the Rams.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
Last year, the Rams were a wild card, but they
were dangerous in the playoffs because you know, they just
Fitish strong baseball. You could have a team that wins
over one hundred games if they sort of stumble in September,
the dog days of summer, in October, and you know,
some team fighting to make the playoffs with eighty five wins,
roughly it's really a matter of how you're playing. And

(21:08):
you're right, the Clippers looked hot. Did they turn the
page and get back to that momentum tomorrow?

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Kyrie?

Speaker 1 (21:16):
And it is the team gast that at this time
of the year, that's the thing. Fresh legs are a
thing too. Who's got the freshest legs? Which you said,
you said, you said you loved Anthony Davis's long legs, right,
you said.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
That's a couple of teams really fun to watch. Brunson
and the Knicks never lack hustle. They play with a
lot of heart.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
You know, I'm surprised by Danny. I have a lot
of East Coast New York Frans, being that I'm from there,
I'm surprised. No one's really saying, oh man, Julius Randall
would have made a difference. They're like, no, they they
look at that as not the biggest difference maker, that
he can't play.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
Yeah, and then I was going to mention our boss's
team in Minnesota. Yeah, not only do we love watching
Anthony Edwards play, but they get Karl Anthony houndsback and
so look out for them.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
But I enjoy your bulls and heat tonight.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Kings, Pelicans, some great basketball, and of course we still
got to talk some fighting, some boxing this weekend.

Speaker 5 (22:13):

Speaker 7 (22:50):
On the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Danny g I see the look in his eye. He
wants Michael Pennox Junior on his Raiders.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
You got to trade up for the I or you
think it'll faulty.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Well, if you can't get up the draft board and
get Shaden Daniels, then you gotta go with Pennix Junior
at thirteen.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Hey, Rich, speaking of presenting and looks in your eye?
Are you staring at that picture of Bert Kreischer that
he posted today.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
I saw that a little light blue speedot. You know
how I know that? By the way, can I tell
you how I know phone? Can I tell you how
I know how I know that?

Speaker 1 (23:29):
I'm hosting an event this morning. I had to do
an event down in Long Beach, California. They got a
racing event going on with serious ExM and I was
down there and some woman she didn't see. There's something
I was trying to show her. I was like, oh,
have you seen that clip? And she's like, no, I
haven't seen it.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Oh, I know what it was. She was telling me
she loves Sublime, and I'm like, have you seen Bradley
nols Son Jacob Knowles.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Yeah, performed at Coachello with Sublime all his late dad's music.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
It was beautiful, and I go, you know, let me show.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
You on Instagram. I open up my Instagram and it
goes right to Burt Kreischer and a speedo.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Idian Burt Kreischer is showing more helmet than Danny G's Raiders.
I don't know what's something's going on there. Yeah, yeah,
you gotta check that out on your own time. But
there's other stuff to get to this hour weekend hobnobbing
what you need to watch in all of the sports
and entertainment. We do it every Friday, and of course
we gotta tell you about the fight and all the drama.

(24:28):
HAINI Garcia. You know, Rich is saying it doesn't matter
that the belt's not up for grabs, So I don't think.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
People care about belts. Think that takes away so much fun.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Even our buddy West just hit up and he's like, well,
that news kills the fight, like people think, oh, the
fight's ruined.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Now ruined.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Yeah, well, we got lots to get through. Danny g
you got something.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
Yeah before we get to that. I don't know if
you caught it or not. At the end of last hour,
Rich Davis broke some news CNR apparently are going to
be debuting on TV.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
I accidentally said FS one. Did you hear that coming
up next? D That's one?

Speaker 5 (25:01):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
You know what I put it out there all coming
up next? Cavi, You not Rich, f's one. Let's see
you know what I Cavi.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
You know you always taught me.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
You know, we've been together, as you know, co hosts
and friends for almost twenty years. Yeah, and you always
say put it out there in the universe. Maybe it
was maybe next week all of a sudden like, ah, we're
gonna simulcast your show.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Yeah, man Rich is manifesting here on the radio. Law
of attraction. Throw it out there to the universe.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Night.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Well, listen before we get to your Ryan Garcia Devin Haney.
Big fight this week, and I'll back Kevinov. But it
is a big fight. We talked about the City connects Jerseys.
We talked a little about the NBA playing games tonight.
There's an A Rod story I want to get to.
But I gotta ask you one random question today. You know,
there's always some random thing like national whatever Day, today's

(25:45):
National Garlic Day, And I gotta ask do you feel
like every time you go somewhere you always want to
get the most garliky dish, but you're insecure the rest
of the day.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
No, I love it and I lean into it, and
I don't care about anybody else.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
You don't, Yeah, because I love it enough to not care.
I will.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
I'll house some garlic pasta dish at some Italian rshot.
But the rest of the day, for a day, I'm
like toy stink.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
And I saw it says twelve percent of Americans don't
mind garlic breath.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
You know, it's interesting that you care that much, Rich,
because I saw that. I saw that Doug Gottlieb brought
some wings in today, and that stinks up the studio
real nice. But not only did he leave you some wings,
he left you a little present in the studio. I
overheard it because I'm here in Idaho and I had

(26:38):
the headphones on. I heard a little something else he
left in the studio.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
And I don't know if it smelled like garlic. I
don't know if it smelled like buffalo sauce. I don't
know if it smelled like lemon pepper. But I heard
him say something like, yeah, here's a little something extra
for Rich Davis. I knew it. I know it.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Yeah, So you go worrying about smelling like garlic. Some
people don't care at all.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Wasn't there a dumb story like someone was just convinced
yesterday that some uh, some NFL guy or something during
an interview at a podium let one loose.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
And they're like, really, did he Trent Balky? Trent Balky, Yeah,
Trent stinky, Trent Stinky. But Sam will backed me up
because I heard it on my headphone. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Doug.
Doug said he did that.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
And then I don't know if you guys actually noticed though,
but he he was like, I didn't think they're gonna
come in here this quickly.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Oh like garlic, lemon, pepper, what's going on? Anyway?

Speaker 1 (27:37):
There was a there was a story that Cavino hit
me up with, and I thought it was interesting because
it's a simple one. It's simple, but you and I
have always talked about the importance of the right woman
in your life, and ladies, Scott wait, whatever your preferences,
the right woman or man in your life makes all

(27:58):
the difference. If you were with an all, she'll bring
you down in every aspect of your life, your career,
personal life.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Everything goes both ways. If you.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
Are with a great woman, she will support you and
encourage you and do all the right things. And you
got to do that back for the person in your life.
You have to be that same support. But you notice
some of your buddies when they're with the wrong person,
it really brings him down.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Well.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Alex Rodriguez, i'd say, has done an amazing job of
reinventing his public persona right, because he was a bit
of a clumsy guy on the field, even though he
hit six hundred and ninety six home runs. It was
something about his demeanor, the way he carried himself. It
rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. And that
had something to do with steroids and lying and all

(28:48):
that other stuff. But it seems like he's really likable
now and he's doing everything right as a broadcaster and an analyst. Now,
you remember he was with j Lo for a while
and then he dated around and now he's dating some
other woman by the name of Jacqueline Cordio Cordero Cordio Jacqueline,
and she's a fitness instructor and apparently she's having an

(29:12):
amazing influence. If you read the New York Post today
and all the other articles about it. He's just on
another level, happy, another level of success, and she has
put him on a health journey that cut him down
thirty five pounds. So talk about good influence. Like she's

(29:33):
turned his life around completely because he went from like, hey,
that's a rod. He's kind of chubbing now a little bit,
to now he's swelt and happy and bringing it on
every level. It's so obvious to thirty five pounds is
a lot.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
I mean, that's a lot of weight. I don't like
he was that overweight.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
I look at it this way, Covino, What your partner
eats ends up being a reflection of how you eat,
biggause you're with them all the time.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
You ever see one of your buddies, tough dude. My
girlfriend does cookie reviews.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
You know how hard it is she brings I'm not
even joking right now, that sounds weird.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
She does.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
She'll go to Crumbles, You'll go to every cookie place
around and does reviews on social media. You know how
hard it is for me to avoid those when she
has them lying around the kitchen.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
You know, so when I'm looking little chubby, you know there's.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
A reason you gotta built an excuse. Those things are
screaming my name every time I come home. But I
think we've all dated someone that was way into fitness
and eating clean and you're like, wow, you're this girl's
a hell of a good influence on me. And then
other times where you get comfy in a relationship and
every night it's like.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
I want to get Chick fil A, You want to
get pizza.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
I want to get this and you're like, I'm starting
to get at a little comfortable here. But a rod
is a great example of someone that career wise, fitness wise,
this woman is leaving a good impact, and.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
I think, be fair. Sometimes it doesn't. It's not an
indicator that you're unhappy relationship. Because my brother's super happy
with his current girlfriend and he's packing on the pounds.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
My brother is I think you brought you sent me
a picture.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
I thought it was George Lopez two twenty two and
he's like, yo, I've never been this heavy in my life. Here. Well,
he's like your brother's like five ten, you know, because
he's happy in a new relationship, and you get a
little lazy, little content, late night dinners, late night snacking,
lounging around like it just becomes a pattern, I guess

(31:28):
in a new relationship. To me, let me throw this
at you, you know how Danny G Have you ever
heard the phrase? And I stand by this. A man
is only as happy as the least happy woman in
his life.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Ye have heard you say that before. It's true.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Listen to that again. It could be your daughter, your wife,
or your mom. A man is only as happy pay attention.
A man is only as happy as the least happy
woman in his life. So if your wife, your daughter,
your if a woman in your life is unhappy with
the ex in there, if you have the co parent
ex wife, wife, daughter, girlfriend, mom, let me give you

(32:09):
another one sort of a parallel thought. If you're living
in a household, Danny g you got teenagers, you got
a new born, you got all. I think you are
only as in shape as the least healthy eater in
your house. Because if someone in your house is bringing
in cookies, Totina, pizza rolls, crumb cakes and muffins like.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
You can't resist it, you just can't.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
So eight Rod has a good influence with his life,
and props to him, and props to him seriously, because
I thought that loss of of j low to Ben
asflex and.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
Oh Ben Affleck and no man.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
He found someone that brought out the best in him,
not only mentally and professionally, but physically.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
And he looks great.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
And for a guy that took a lot of heat
from a lot of people, and again he brought it
upon himself in a lot of ways, you got to
give him props. What props would do He's doing great
as a broadcaster, and he's looking great. So thirty five
pounds off, that's the story in the news today, Alex Rodriguez, Well,
well that's not the story. The story is, unfortunately, this
Taylor Swift distrack. Yeah, I mean that is the dude.

(33:19):
That was a huge the moment I woke up tonight.
Everywhere you look, even on sports sites, people are talking
about Taylor Swift dissing Kim Kardashian.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
So we'll we'll mention it in a little bit.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
But based on the A Rod thought of weight gain
weight loss being trim. I know, everyone, everyone's all you
gotta give him props. Everyone's always on a mission. Danny
g you've you've dropped some weight, you look great. You
you cut out what like sugar for the most part.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
Yeah, if it is above eight grams of sugar, I
don't go near it.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
So small adjustments.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Yeah, and I be And you said you cut out
like soda, stuff like that, right, like soft drinks.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
Yeah, maybe we'll have a soda every other day, but
it's a diet PEPSI.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
I had no regular sugar or regular soda.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
When Danny was at his worst, he would call them sodies.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
I mean I literally do's.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
Last year on our show, I would go to the
machine here and I would grab a mountain de out
of there every afternoon.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
Dude, because it can't do that anymore.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Get hooked on the sugar, for sure is terrible for you.
You know, rich and I call him a big gulpers
sometimes because you get hooked on it, and we have
big gulpers in our family, and it's like, damn. We
know it's not easy to make those adjustments. That's why
the a Rod story stood out so much. It's not
like he was that overweight.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
So for him to cut down thirty five pounds at
his age, you know that his new lady is a
great influence. Yeah, hey, listen, if you're feeling chubby and
you're feeling like you're not yourself, just they like a
fitness girl for a minute and Jill straighten out.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
But my other thought is real quick and then we'll
move on.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
I know, we want to talk some Ryan Garcia, some
fights this weekend, some NFL, a lot of Randough stuff
to catch up on. But Cabino, when you go to
the doctor, because I know you and I we go
to the same general physician out here in Los Angeles. Yeah, simple,
not because we have the same we don't you know what?
Cot together and at the same time, yeah, you know,

(35:08):
you know why, because it's called pure laziness. If Cavino
and I find a doctor, dentist, eye, doctor, whatever it is,
it's like, yo, who do you use?

Speaker 7 (35:16):
All right?

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Were covered? All right, I'll use the same person. That
chart of what you're supposed to weigh for your height,
the BMI is that but is that based yes?

Speaker 3 (35:25):
Is that is that based on like scrawny beachas dude?

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Because they make it look like six foot, Oh yeah,
you should be one seventy What six foot guy is
one seven?

Speaker 2 (35:35):
No, it's dude, it's absurd. It's they're not accounting for
any sort of muscle.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
I can't be the only guy that notices that you
go to the doctor for your physical and you see
that little chart, it's like, oh, you're five.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
Eleven, Oh you should be one sixty eight? What six two? Oh? Yeah?
What eighty something? I don't know how they.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Expect people expect everyone to be a little weenie string
bean like I have. They don't account for any sort
of muscle, oh or tacos. That's the I've never lived
in a weight in my life chart. I'm pretty sure
that's what it is. And again, I'm five eleven and
they have well, they have me down at five eleven. Rich,

(36:14):
I'm five and three fourth five ten and three fourths
five eleven and the doctor said I should get down
to one seventy five.

Speaker 3 (36:23):
You look sick, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I'm like, dude, you want me to get some matrophy
going on here? You know, on top of losing weight.
That's way too thin, I think. But you know, I'm
sure there's healthy ways to do it, but it seems impossible.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Big stories today. The other one, aside from all.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
The Taylor Swift, Britney Mahomes, all that drama, huge drama
in Brooklyn for the Hany Garcia fight, huge drama show,
as Triple G used to say, drama show for real.
First of all, the face off was out of control, Rich,
I don't know if you saw that. But Hany's the
Hany's Bill and Devin they're really leaning into the Mexicans

(37:03):
for Hany thing like bringing race into it. Culture, religion
they both have. Ryan has said things about Haini's religion,
so it's.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Like getting really ugly, and we.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
Really don't know if there's real hatred or they're selling
a fight or what, but it's causing a lot of drama.
So they're there with the Mexican flag saying that more
Mexican fans root for Hani and their work ethic more
than Garcia, and that's really sort of hit and blow
the belt. And Garcia has been unhinged completely on.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
Every possible level.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
And then he said, Garcia said he's gonna kill the dad,
He's gonna kill Bill jan Yeah, he's gonna knock him out,
and like the whole thing is out of control. And
then you know the way in Garcia shows up three
point two pounds overweight, so one hundred and forty three
point two pounds over and they made a side bet

(37:57):
that for every pound Garcia shows shows up over, he'd
give him five hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
So now he owes.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
Devin Haney one point five million dollars and as a result,
the WBC super Lightweight belt is not.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Up for grabs anymore.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
There won't be a possible new champion even if Garcia wins,
which is lame as hell. And then Garcia went to
social media and interviews afterward and said, you know, why
would I force to make weight at one forty so
I could be weak. I'm here to win, that's it.
And he went on and said he had his family
to feed. It's not about belts anymore. It's about winning

(38:36):
and winning money and feeding his family. But I'm telling
you there's a lot of fans, Rich. I know you're
just excited the fights, Hapenn, I tell you, but there's
a lot of fans that are like, if there's no
belt up the grabs, I mean, loses its excitement. It
would mean something if there were one belts for each division,
but as you know in boxing, there's like five plus

(38:57):
belts for each division.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Different what is it down? Yeah, So to me, it's.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Like if it was one unified guy and he was
all the belts are on the line, that would be
one thing.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
But it's not.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
And you know what I looked at immediately when I
heard this news, I wondered if the odds had changed,
like if a heavier not trimmed down Ryan Garcia might
tighten those odds up a little bit, Like, oh, if
he comes in a little heavier, maybe advantage Though.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
Ryan Garcia.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Here's the thing, do we think because he seems to
be unhinged and undisciplined throughout this whole thing, or it's
just an act that we don't know. Do you think
that he came in heavier so that he had that advantage,
or do you think his lack of discipline, maybe staying
out late, maybe too many tacos? Well you said it

(39:45):
too much, drink it. Maybe that's why he didn't make
the way. You just said that he's a little unhinged.
But you said that. Ryan Garcia himself said I'm not
gonna come in all emaciated. I mean, that's what he said.
But you know, who knows what to believe with this? Well,
what I'm saying is Vegas not taking the bait. Okay,
Devin Haney is still if anything, the odds are minus

(40:07):
eight hundred, like Haney is a significant favorite. So I thought,
maybe Garcia comes in three pounds overweight. They're like, ooh,
advantage Garcia because he didn't have to get too frail
like he you know, he didn't get too frail. It's
only three pounds, but still, dude.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
It's not three pounds.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
He sacrificed one point five million dollars and a chance
to win the bell, you know, and it does for
a real fan, it does make you think, oh, he's
not taking this year. Let me let me ask you,
let me ask you boxing politics. I still think Hane
wins his fight. I'm not betting. I think the odds
are it's not doing anything for me, you know, like

(40:43):
I told you, the only odds for the fun of
it might be if you think Ryan Garcia could knock
out Hane just for the hell of it, for the
smell of it. Or what Haney said was, it's not
going to be an easy fight because Garcia's got power,
and he's fast and but good he always but but
I'm gonna make it look he's you're the you're the
first got to say. Iyan Garcia's got fast hands and
he's got some pop. Ryan Garcia by knockout is plus

(41:05):
fifteen hundred, which might be the only bet that's worthy
of Like, yeah, I'll throw twenty five bucks, nothing big,
just just for a little excitement on the fight. But
Garcia is a big underdog. But I do wonder if
he does, as a long shot, find a way to win,
because he comes in a little beefier, a little more
you know, a little more weight behind that punch does.

(41:26):
From a political standpoint, from the boxing politics, I'm shures
with rematch clause, which means there's money to be made
in a rematch if Ryan Garcia won.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
But I just can't see him winning. Man, that's a
tough fight for him.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
It's a very tough fight when you got a kid
is disciplined and is hungry and with so much to prove,
like Devin Haney does, and he brings that work ethic. Kove,
do you have handy the tail of the tape, because
I know you did the other day and it was
very like their height, weight, reach, everything was so pretty

(41:59):
on the money, So yeah, I got it.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
It's they're both twenty five years old.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
But remember guys, they've been even their whole life, right
they fight. They fought in the amateur ranks, and they're
like three, right, three three and three since there were
kids like ten years old, they've been fighting each other, right. Uh,
they're both five eight actually, Garcia's five eight and a half.
HAINI got him on the reach seventy one inches to
seventy inches, still thirty one and oh his biggest win

(42:25):
is that lon much that very controversial Loma Chank go win,
but still I mean to see Hainey fight with guys
on that level and win.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
It's still big.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
He's thirty one to oh Ryan Garcia twenty four and one.
He lost to Tank Davis. A lot of people said
he quit, but he was hurt and we were at
that fact when remember when Tank hit him and Ryan
Garcia the body shot was just too much.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Yeah, but besides that, it didn't look like a lot
in person. Remember, no, it didn't.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
But when you when you watch, you're like, yo, he
just sometimes a body shot could get you know. Cavino
he got fifteen knockouts and Garcia has twenty nine. I
was gonna say of Garcia's twenty four victories, twenty are
by knockout. He has a pretty high knockout percentage. So again,
I'm no boxing expert. I'm though, Steve Cavino, I'm.

Speaker 3 (43:09):
No uh Ariel Hawani.

Speaker 1 (43:11):
Your your boys Brock and Barack are our buddies from
his own.

Speaker 3 (43:16):
But I do love boxing, not as much as you.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
But I think if you want to make a fun
bet on this fight, the only fun bet, because the
odds are they're not favoring like a fun bet to make,
unless you say Garcia by knockout the odds would be astronomer.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
It's not even who you got at this point. It's like,
are you less excited now that the belt's not up
for grabs? Because I feel like some people are really
bummed about that, and then other people like who cares?

Speaker 3 (43:42):
Don't don't say it?

Speaker 1 (43:43):
Sou's exciting if you want to watch that in Potato
Town because you got to have some plans to attend to.
I update there and I'm visiting my girlfriend's family for
her birthday.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
I'm in Idaho this weekend.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
And if you missed the conversation the other day, Cavino
is trying to figure a way to tell his girlfriend
and her family that they should all watch the fight
together tomorrow night.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
I think what we're not going to revolve a whole
night because I'm only here for two days.

Speaker 1 (44:08):
Well, I told you, I thought it was worse that
if you broke your phone out at a nice restaurant.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
That's what you know what My girlfriend suggested that that's
what I do for that particular fight, because, to be
quite honest, I don't care about the card, you know,
I care about this fight Okay, So I'll just bust
it out, you know, wherever we're at, and I'll watch
it on my phone, or if I'm at her dad's house,
I'll just have it on there. So I don't have
actual plans yet, but I'm not gonna miss the fight

(44:33):
for sure. But again, today's controversy. Controversy is that there's
no belt up for grabs and that Garcia comes in overweight.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
So it's a wild fight.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
Man, I don't know what to expect, but they've done
a great job promoting it.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
Well, I'll tell you what, if you're a casual boxing fan,
I'll back Cavino up because there's a lot of times
Cavino's like, yo, bro, fight this weekend and I'm like, dude,
stop and no one cares.

Speaker 3 (44:58):
This is one to care about.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
Ryan gar Garcia has pulled some straight up Mike Tyson antics.
The thing is he's not as intimidating and he's not
as a household name as a Mike Tyson, but he's
pulling Tyson antics. He's been off the wall Michael Jackson's style.
You know, that's really wild to see. You know, that
really awkward girl on social media?

Speaker 3 (45:19):
What's the name.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
All tof Bobby, Bobby, all tof the girl that remember
she did the bit with Drake laying in bed and
like the very awkward funny.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
She has a dry sense of humor.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
She was on Ryan Garcia's I guess podcast or whatever
he's doing video stream and Ryan Garcia, I don't know
if he was playing, but he comes across.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Like cuckoo's nest, Cuckoo's nest.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
And it makes you, honestly, it makes you appreciate Devin
Haney even warn.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
Guy took off his shirt and he's like, what do
you think of my abs? And she's like nice?

Speaker 1 (45:49):
And then no, then he weird. He had his lapel
mic and he's like where should I put it? He
tried to attach it to his nipple. Like the guy's
lost in a little bit.

Speaker 3 (45:56):
Yeah, no, completely yeah, or is he just selling a fire?
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
So that's the update there, and you know, I don't
know if you're gonna get it, but it'll be you know,
I'll tell you more about it on weekend Hobnobin.

That's what I was doing.

Speaker 3 (47:15):
I was chopping it up with him, and you know,
I was talking to the Fox Sports Radio Nation. Well,
I'm like, you held it down because Rob made me
feel bad.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
He's like, you're a Mets fan and you're not going
to the Dodgers game tonight.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
And I'm like, oh, such a loser. You're right.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Uh, you know what we talked about, as we've talked
about that too. On Over promised Fox Sports Radios YouTube page.

Speaker 1 (47:35):
And he also agrees with you that the city connects
look sweet.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
So nice. So you know what, yeah, what to watch
this weekend? Over promised here about Rich's dilemma. He's not
going to the Mets Dodgers game and his buddy's coming
out here. They're both Mets fans. Over promised that Fox
Sports Radios YouTube page. Well, as you guys know, I'm
watching no matter what. I'm watching Hani Garcia. It was

(47:59):
for the WBC super Lightweight Belt, not anymore because Garcia
didn't make weight, but it's on his own pay per.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
View sixty nine ninety nine. I'll be watching that wherever
I'm at.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
I promise you that there is a title fight though
before it, John Ramirez and David hey Man is for
the WBA interim flyweight title.

Speaker 3 (48:18):
But I'm only really watching for.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
Haini Garcia to see how his drama show pans out.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
You know what, I'm finally watching this weekend, Rich, what's that,
buddy boy again? I'm with my girlfriend's family. I'm watching
Ironclaw because I hadn't seen it yet. I finally got
a chance to see it. It's the story of the
von Ericks for the wrestling fans. I'm gonna watch that
and I'll let you know how it is on Monday.
But because it's four.

Speaker 1 (48:40):
To twenty weekend, I'll probably watch one of my favorite
Stoner classics, that being Half Baked.

Speaker 3 (48:46):
Just throwing that out there. It's a good one. It's
one of my favorites. Fun.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Yes, yeah, it's for real and seamlessly self promote real
quick set the DVR again for Access TV episode to
Death from Above Access TV Monday night, eight pm Eastern
Music Mayhem. I'm on it talking about all these crazy
deaths from from.

Speaker 1 (49:10):
Above, helicopter crashes. Plane crashes have taken a lot of
rock stars. Music Mayhem with your Boy Cavino, Monday Night
on Axes TV. Yeah, well, I just made a bet,
so I'm gonna be watching the Heat tonight. Now, because
I did get this Kavino, I got the Heat money
line with Garcia Knockout twenty pays three hundred, so twenty

(49:33):
bucks easy, quick, little bet twenty bucks pace three hundred,
Ryan Garcia Knockout and the Heat win tonight.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
So that's a good one. I like you that one.
Now as far as Netflix goes, am, I am I
seeing this? Right?

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Is there a new season of The Circle? Remember we
used to watch that show, that reality show where people
are on social media and they're in little pods. That's right,
So I may check that out. And as Danny g predicted,
for just a matter of time before all the OJ
stuff comes out. OJ Made in America is now trending
on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (50:03):
So if you want to.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Watch the docu series based on The Late, I was
gonna say, great The Late, not really that great OJ
Simpson that's on Netflix as well, and another show watching
on Amazon Prime. I mentioned it last week, but I'll
give you another shout out. My wife and I have
really been enjoying it. It's weird, but it's fun. Fallout
Fallout with Walton Goggins and the girl on the show,

(50:27):
I gotta get her name. She's super cute, and I'm like,
why does she look familiar? We knew her as a
kid actress. She was the girl in kick Ass. She's
now all grown up. She's all grown up and she's
like the star of Fallout, which is based on a
video game for the gamers. And of course you said it, Covino,
besides the fight this weekend, I'll take the words out
of Danny G's mouth and pass the torch to him.

Speaker 3 (50:48):
Laker's nuggets. Yeah, you talking about Chloe Grace Faret.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
No, no, no, no, I'll get you the name. It's
a girl from kick Ass too.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
I'm sorry, I'll.

Speaker 2 (50:55):
Oh, okay, of course, man, some great basketball, Danny, you're
watching that?

Speaker 4 (51:00):
Yeah, first thing in my notes Saturday, and Cove, you
mentioned it's going to be four to twenty game one.
Hopefully my Lakers can burn some nugs in Denver eight
thirty pm Eastern. And speaking of that, Popeyes has a
special munchies menu Saturday, all priced at four dollars.

Speaker 3 (51:16):
And twenty cents. I don't know how they came up
for that price.

Speaker 4 (51:19):
And you know what, you took the Netflix from twenty
sixteen out of my mouth. Rich oj Made in America,
I forgot how good this five part thirty for thirty is.
I'm on the fourth part, so well made, and I
bet you if you go back and watch it now,
you will see it with different eyes.

Speaker 1 (51:39):
I think I might put that on the background today.
By the way, the girl's name she not a girl
who's a beautiful woman now Ella Pernell.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
Look up Ella Pernell Cavino and you.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
Beg oh my god, that's the girl from kick Ass two,
all growns up so fall out really good on Amazon
Prime and of.

Speaker 3 (51:57):
Course playing games tonight. Don't forget that. Isn't she also?
And wasn't she in yellow Jackets? She might have been
you know what, I'll look right now, she might have That's.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
What you probably remember her from, you Boso. I don't
think you ever saw kick Ass too.

Speaker 1 (52:09):
Yeah, she was in Yellow Jackets as Jackie, which was
a great show as well.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
Look at that, you are, right, Cobino. All right, we'll
see you guys back here on Monday. Enjoy your weekend.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
