Kitlyn Clark came on to you, would you one hundred
percent be like.

Yes, No, number of reasons, number of reasons. I guess
we'll find out.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
She's taken it. I'm taking another. Oh, that wouldn't be right.
That wouldn't be right. I respect her too much for that.
I respect her. It's just a wive swap. Sound like

(02:00):
talk with Rich Davis.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Now, before we get to more Kyrie and some of
your feedback. Earlier we were talking about what people pretend
to like.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
You got more answer. No, we're in you know Tempe. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
One of our listeners, one of our buds, said, people
who pretend to like golfing in the summer in Arizona,
it's one hundred and ten degrees and people are like, man,
it's uh, you know, it's really I love going out there,
and it's like they have priced sure, one hundred and
ten degrees goll they like it.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
It's just hard to believe, you know. And Alex had
a good one before Alex.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Yeah, so gender reveal parties who looks forward to spending
time to just say what gender it is?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Seriously, stop it. There's no way.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
People have started fires. I've hurt themselves, people almost died.
I'm like, their gender it is. There have been people
that have died.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
You're right, but yeah, there's a lot of good ones
of things people pretend to like. So you can continue
hitting us up at Covine on Rich and we'll talk more, Kyrie.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
But I want to go back to Sam for a second.
I was Sam, Yes, car comes on to you for real?
Speaker 5 (03:04):
No, yes, I said what I said. Yeah, I mean,
I mean I can appreciate her as an athlete and
as a as a basketball player. And she listen, if
it was Cameron Brink.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Maybe that'd be a different story.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Okay, came, I think would agree with you your thoughts.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Sam is lying so hard right now, you guys, I
know which shirt all the time? Yes I do, Yes,
I do. So are you saying you would?
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Are you saying based on Sam's love of her on
the court, I'm saying, I'm saying if there was a
female athlete I admired the way I was saying.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
I admire her, I respect her. It doesn't mean she's like,
you know, an object in my eyes.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
You know. Yeah, I feel the same way about Don Domball.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I was saying from mayor everybody, by the way, I
mean you brought I was saying back into the conversation.
It was something we did want to discuss today. Now, iowa,
Sam isn't here with us today. He was going to
cover for Spot, who's not here with us today. Spot
doing some family stuff. He's got some family matters to attend.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
So I wait, wait, wait, So so Alex is in
for Sam, who was in for Spot exactly exactly.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
And pleas, yeah, check this out shot.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
My sister just walked in because she's out here for college.
Speaker 7 (04:29):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
It worked out.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Alex's sisters to guyant to be it was we're back
in to be my normal seed anyway.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Nice, We're pumped to be hanging out with Alex. He's great,
and his sister's here, so it's fun for everybody. But
you know, we had so much fun at our last
Graduate Hotels broadcast.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
You know, Rich was like, there's.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
No way, no way, way. Iowa Sam made the right decision.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
No no for him because he's a big Kitley Clark fan.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
And I don't want i Was Sam to feel even
one percent like, oh man, I should have went because
I know this means a lot to do.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Let's explain what's going on. You were supposed to come
out fill in for spot. Alex is here. He's great,
he's our pal, he's the best at what he does.
But Iowa Sam said, you know what, I have a
prior commitment.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
I think that's key to the story. I think that's
key to any situation like this.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
I have a prior commitment, and I'm going to cover
Caitlyn Clark's game in Los Angeles tonight.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
You know Kaitlyn Clark's playing. He's a big Fani's.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
From Iowa and it's a two part doozy. Not only
Iowa Sam, correct me if I'm wrong. Not only did
you have a prior commitment to cover that game. You
said that you were catching up with some buddies for
a camping trip this weekend.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
Right, that part actually fell through, but was just but
I would not have been able to come because I'm
going to be at the game tonight and you guys
are in Tempe, you know, on the state over, so
it wouldn't have worked.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
So and I respect your decision to stay. So I
don't want I don't want you to take this the
wrong way at all. I'm just thinking, have you ever
posed a bigger question? Have you ever had the choice
between two things?
Speaker 5 (06:02):
Yes, this is going a couple of weeks ago with
Cavino and going to the Tom Brady Roast exactly.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
That's where I got brought it up, you know, And
it happened with Rich and we have all these stories
all the time, and I'm sure there's other moments, maybe
there's sports related where you could have went to that game,
but you had chose something else. You remember, when you
say yes to something, you're saying no to something else.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
That's just how it works.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
I mean, it could be sports, it could be a concert.
But I know, like you had the opportunity to go
to the Tom Brady Roast.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Dude, I regret it.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Bait after aftermath, after I saw how great and massive
it was, and how so many people were there right
to be under that roof in the room where it happens. Man,
I blew it. But again I had a prior commitment.
I told my family, Hey, we're gonna get together and
come bine. It's sinking to my weekend and we'll have
(06:53):
some tacos and we'll have some.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Draw sounds like really compared to the tom Brady Roast
later on, you know that on that day in the morning.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
But everybuddy Michael runs this place, Mike, Oh yeah, man, Mike.
I mean he runs the studios back in LA I
don't know if he runs Arizona. But he hit me
up with an offer to see the tom Brady Roast.
But he was a little wishy washing about how good
the seats were. Not that would have made a difference,
but it seemed a little half baked at the time,
and I was like, ah, I'm gonna stick with my
(07:24):
original plan.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
And I did regret it. I did.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
And then I think a lot of times everyone has
at least one story where they're like I was invited
to this and I passed, and something awesome happened. I
have friends that have missed no hitters in baseball. I
have friends that have missed out on like your buddy's
like it was the most amazing night ever, and that
was the night.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
You state home.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
I feel I'm speaking on behalf of Rich. He'll probably disagree.
We had a chance to go see the Canelo Alvarez
fight in Vegas. Rich went to see some weak ass
convention with some weak ass old school wrestlers and it
was like four people at this convention instead of going
to Vega.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
I don't regret that at all. I regret it for
me that you did this. I think it was a
bad decision.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I thought it was a bad choice seeing your pals,
that's all great and grand.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
I get it, and that's the real reason why you
were there. I get that. But you chose a convention
where I chose seeing I chose to look like a completely.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Dead atmosphere instead of going to Vegas and having fun
and seeing Canelo. You downplayed the popularity of Canelo alvas
the face of boxing to justify that weak ass trip.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
But I think that everyone has those ooh do I
choose A or B, and then you look back and
you say, did I make the right choice?
Speaker 2 (08:32):
I feel we all dropped the ball ioa sam again,
prior commitment.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Mine was a prior. All of ours were actually prior commitments.
To be fair, but did you make a bad decision?
Let's talk about it. I have another one. We had
a convention, remember our old Covino and Rich conventions.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
And we all had tickets to the Yankee game. Everybody's there.
We had a whole block.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Of tickets and it was like we welcome the Coveno
and Rich listeners to Yankee Stadium and we're all pumped
around the big screen. And I don't know what it was,
but I was like, we got to get all these
people from out of town out of the stadium. You know,
we have to get them out of here before traffic hits.
We're gonna be like sardines in the subway. This is
not gonna be good. So we left in like the
(09:15):
seventh in Caavino was the one that was like now
everyone looks It was like sort of like, yeah, we
should probably go because I know how uncomfortable New York
City is for out of towners too, and I really
was being sort of considerate.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
To that moment.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
And that was the night that John Carlo hit a
walk off home run, right.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Wasn't that a walk off grand slam?
Speaker 2 (09:34):
John Carlos staying, as they say, earned his pinstripes. And
there's nothing worse. We've talked about this, but there's nothing
worse than leaving a game and then hearing the roar
of the crowd in the backgrowd.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Dodger Stadium and here the crowd going not.
Speaker 6 (09:50):
Because every Dodger fan knows from the history of Kirk
Kipson and those tail lights outside when he hit that
home run, you do not want to be one of
those people in the cars out in the park.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Decision.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
It happened to us in Denver, our Denver game this
year when Denver was playing the Vikings.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
We went, we left.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Yeah, we went to Monday night football and it was
a game that was won on the last play and
in the fourth quarter of three minutes left, Like, yeah,
let's call an uber now, because we don't want to
get stuck here this place.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
We're waiting for the uber and it's like the weakest
feeling you just stare at the stadium.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
And then the question is do you tell your friends
that you stayed? No, you lie because I.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Think in those cases, you like Danny g by the way,
that's the worst part of the story. Every time, like
that football game was Monday night football. Even my mom,
who really doesn't watch that much football.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
That was such an awesome game. I can't believe you
were there and I did. I felt somebody like, no,
well we left. So if you're one of those people.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
It was good, but we let we caught and then
you stayed a whole game, freeze your ass off, and
we left what like two minutes left in the game
just to catch the uber.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
It's when you don't need to correct people, just let
it go. I like, that's her fraud. If you're one
of those.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
In a bit, if do you remember when Miami was
about to lose the NBA Finals with Lebron remember the
three pointer by Ray Allen, people had left?
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yeah, yeah, class, they had left.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
Now if you one of those people that left, if
you were one of those people that left. The nineteen
eighty six World Series when the Mets, you know, there
were two outs and before they rallied, before Buckner threw
his legs. Do you tell people I was at that
game and they were like, oh my god, I can't
believe you were there. Do you have to admit but.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
I left her? Yeah, you have to. You just had
you got caught in that line. It's embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
So any other examples eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox,
We'll still take your phone call.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
No, no, I was Sam you. It's all gonna be
worth it. If Caitlyn Clark it's her first win to hell, yeah.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
I think even if she loses, it'll be worth it
because I've never gotten a chance to see her play
in person, so and it'll be my first time in
the press box at Crypto formerly known as Staples. So
I think overall, even if they lose, it'll be worth it.
But if they win, then yeah, it'll be cool.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Yeah. They're never easy decisions.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
They are in right and I always see it. Man,
he had so much fun in Oregon with us. He's like, ah, man,
but I Caitlin Clark, so look, we totally understand. But
based on that, are there other examples where you feel
like maybe you made the wrong decision because whatever you
said no to turned out to be awesome.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Like I said, everyone's been invited to a game that
ended up being like a memorable one and you're like,
oh man, my buddy Mike on Long Island, he was
invited to a Yankees game and he's a Mets fan,
so he's.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Like, I'm not going to a Yankees game.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
But the caveat was yeah, but Doc Gooden's pitching Doc
good and being a former Met, and he's like, oh,
maybe no, I'm sitting this one out. And that's when
Dwyke Editter pitches no Hitter.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
See again, you live with those ree girts eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox. If you want to take
some phone calls, if you have any other examples. Again,
we are here live in front of a live studio audience.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
It's like grace coupley yeah, yeah, in front of a
live studio audience.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Feel free to step up.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
And by the way, I love all the Cavino and
rich T shirts. Chris Is look at that one right there,
that Fox one. Look at that Dark side of the Goon,
the rich Davis one.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
I like that one, dude. They're also great.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Thank you guys again seriously for coming out really really appreciate, as.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Your dad would say, Pat people like you. I don't know.
It's very humbling. Thank you. I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Richie Durant, Chris Xander, Jeff Mike Slayer, Mike Mike and Courtney, Timbo,
Slice West and Brie.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Thank you everybody for being here.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Appreciate all you guys, and can't wait to hang and
have a drink right after this.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
I already started. If you want to, ye, I got
a order one. I wanted to bring up something. I
know we talked about it yesterday, but Harrison Bucker, Yeah,
I think this story's over, and I'll tell you why,
because now Mahomes and Travis Kelcey have both spoken out
on how he's a great guy, great teammate.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
The update is Kelsey now has said that he's a
good dude.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
So is this a step in the right direction of
people saying, hey, listen, I may not agree with your
your ideas or you you know, we may have differences
politically or they are socially, but we could still be
teammates and friends.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Do you think that.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
I think that's a big step by Mahomes and Kelsey
because that story was sort of put to rest by
his leadermates. Leaders got a lead, and I think that's examn.
If they have their issues with it, they're squashing it,
and I think that's better for the team.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Squashing is moving forward because we're we're a team regardless
of our beliefs.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
But I'm saying, what a great example when the two
of the faces arguably yeah, the two faces of the
NFL right now super Bowl defending champions, Mahomes and Kelsey saying, listen,
we may not agree with this guy's beliefs and his
social stances on things, but that's our guy.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
He's a great dude. He's our teammate the end.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
And I think if we all took that approach with colleagues,
friends and family, think could be a lot better where
we got in this mindset over the last handful of
years where if you dissec agree.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
With me, like get rid of this guy, cancel on
fire him. That's nonsense.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
And I think Harrison Bucker, you may think he's full
of it, you may hate what he had to say,
but I do love that Mahomes and Kelsey had his
back and said he's our teammate, he's a good dude.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
We may think he's full of it, but yeah, he's
our guy. And again, it's his sliding scale, though I
think this mature.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
You tell me you don't have friends or family that
have weird beliefs that you don't agree with.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
You still gotta love him, right, everybody does. Everyone does.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Yeah, but that's the story I want to throw out there,
because no, it's Kelsey, especially with everything he says now
gets dissected by the Swifties as well.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Yeah, so that's another layer of it.
Speaker 6 (15:35):
You know what, The TV show Love Is Blind deserves
a lot of credit because yeah, because no listen, because
they made it popular to say I deserve grace, you
need to give me grace.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
That's so funny.
Speaker 6 (15:48):
And you've seen that the past couple of years now
that people are more willing to be understanding of others
rather than all that Facebook fighting that went on during
the election, and the Tom Brady roast was amazing because
comedians could be comedians again. So I feel like things
are being centered a little better right now.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
I agree, I agree, So props to the Kansas City
chiefs are handling that I think the right way.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
But again, this is a question of different values. Right
There's certain times in life where maybe your friends have
done some questionable things are said questionable things that weren't
necessarily values that maybe were.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Race related or something different where you might.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Even if everyone's a good one to be like, hey,
you know, we got to come together as a team.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Yeah, he could think what he wants. That's great. Yeah,
we said it the other day.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
And I think it's a If someone says something terrible,
that's one thing, But just when someone disagrees with you,
that's a different story. Now there's something I do want
to get to. This is more fun, don't orne everyone's like.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Kelsey says, he cherishes him as a teammate. So I
think that puts the story to Rus for sure. But
we've seen so many other stories where people have done
questionable things and you've seen their quote unquote friends sort
of turn their back, and sometimes I can understand. In
this case, I think they're doing the right thing. Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Now there is a fun story that I want to
mix it up with.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
We'll dip away from sports just for a second because
there's a club in New York City. Now I'm gonna
get the details of the straight so I don't misguide you.
But apparently you need to show your bank statement at
the door to get in. Now, this goes for guys.
This is this is not a part of women because
they want the good looking women in there.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
But dudes have to show a bank statement of dollars.
They don't have to show their bank statement.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
That all exist, right, Yeah, sound fair, But I mean
they want to pack the club with women. So would
would you even if you have women having a sausage
fest here?
Speaker 8 (17:50):
Man?
Speaker 3 (17:50):
I'm just kidding, but I got to ask though, if
you even had the money, would you be like, no,
I'm not playing your silly games. Or would you think
to yourself, I'm a single guy. If you do have money,
well I'll be in a room full of good looking women.
Or is that just a setup for like these women
all want money.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
It's I don't know. Look, it's a matter of the person.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
I think, Like, you know, when I signed that that
Colin Cowherd contract, I'm still gonna think like a guy
who's a little more humble. I think I was just
in Japan. I don't know if you guys knew that.
In fact, I got this shirt in Japan.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
You like it, guys? Yeah? In sweet Japan? Yeah? Yeah, yep.
And uh, dude, there's a I forget. Oh it's called
the Golden Guy. I think there's some section the Golden Guy, and.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
There's all these little bars and all these little alleys,
and this bar after bar after bar after bar, and
they're all a little like little closet sized bars, and.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
They had a few bucks. I'm not broke, And anytime
it was a cover charge, I'm like how much to
get in? Nah? I went to everyone that didn't have
the cover charge. I still think that way. There's no way.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
So if you think I'm gonna I want to be
part of a place, we have to show them how
much I make not having it?
Speaker 1 (19:04):
You should be honed on there.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
Well, think about it in the dating scene, right, what
is the celebrity dating app riah? Yes, like people have
to prove there of a certain level of clout to
be I know they don't like.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
There's other parts of society.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
People are joint country clubs, right, I mean going the
country clubs, don't status bs.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yeah, I don't vibe that way. Maybe that's the I
don't know, Maybe that's the Jersey side of me.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I don't know. It keeps me humble.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
I don't know what it is. But I as much
as you think that I'm the opposite. I'm really not
like it doesn't It doesn't blow up my skirt. Rich,
It doesn't get me fired up to think that I'm
part of something exclusive that way.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
If I really was, they just invite me. I don't
have to show you my bank statement.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
So your thoughts eight seven seven nine is the minimum
of fifty thousand. Yeah, we'll pass the mic around the
room if you want, well, we'll take the temperature of
this club in New York City.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Fifty grand bank statement or you can't get in. Let's
that's some bs.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
We'll also talk some MBA and other fun here live
from Tepi, Arizona, the.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Graduate Hotel Comino and Rich.

Of course you know us as the host of the
number one rated show and all the sports talk, the
Paully and Tony Fusco Show.
Speaker 8 (20:30):
Ye.
Speaker 7 (20:31):
Now, the suits at Fox Sports Radio gave us this
ad time because they wanted us to.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Tell you how great our show is. Why Yeah? Instead
of us.
Speaker 7 (20:40):
Doing that, let's just let on millions of fans do
the talking.
Speaker 8 (20:43):
Ye ain't play the tape.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
You don't know, crap about fool o crap.
Speaker 8 (20:48):
Whoa, whoa, whoa whoa.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
That's the wrong tape, wrong tape. Just forget that.
Speaker 7 (20:52):
Look, Listen to the paully Toni Fusco Show on the
iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast or.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Wherever you get your podcasts. All right, we're backing. We
all live. Yeah, yeah, sincere.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Thanks to everybody hanging out with us. We're gonna have
some fun tonight. It's a pleasure to be here live
from the Graduate Hotel in Tempe, Arizona. Find the Graduate
Hotels on social media at Graduate Hotels again. Our address
today is two two five East Apache Boulevard. Kicking off
the PAC twelve Baseball Championships. Now we're gonna wrap up
(21:28):
this discussion and get into some weekend hobnobbing. What you
need to watch this weekend. We got Tay Shirt here
with us. Tight shirt, Tay Shirt because he's ripped. This guy,
he's ripped like Jesus. Yeah, Alex is with us, Danny g.
Everybody giving away some prizes. Yes, thank you again.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
For me a part of this. We're Cavino and Rich
on Fox Sports Radio. Again.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
It's getting late early, so I do want to say
a big thanks to everybody at Graduate Hotels too, and
everyone at the bar here. We got Graduate Hotels hats.
They left us so cool. So thank you guys again.
And if you're getting out of your car or whatever,
catch everything on the podcast. But I want to wish
you a happy Memorial Day weekend, even though the whole
premise isn't really that happy. I hope you have a
happy time, okay, and again we honor all the fallen troops.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
That serve this country.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
I gotta I got a question before we get to
this club that requires the bank statement.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
Any final thoughts. I got some final thoughts. I think
it's for week ass, you know, give me your final
thoughts and I'll get to it else so you can't
see people. Yeah, you know what they call it WOP?
I think yeah, yeah, we as weekend. That's what it
stands for, right right, Yeah, No, I think that Alex.
You had a good point though. During the break it
was my point.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
We were discreeting. That was his point. Yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
For real, so I said, basically, like the biggest thing
in social mediaately has been showing up in a beat
up Honda some car to make sure the girl is
not with you for your money, so she passes the
test and actually likes you. Then you show her what
you've built, whether it be your house, your cars, whatever,
because you don't want to have the premise of them
coming for your money or else.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
What is the valid.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Exactly the heads unless you're old and ugly and you
realize that.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Week ask people, bro, I mean it's an arrangement some people.
That's the point. For this premise to work.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
You got to show your bank account has to have
a minimum of fifty thousand dollars in your savings.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
Women get in free. Would you judge a woman that
goes to this club?
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Yes, because like Wes said before, what is the name
of his place, gold diggers. That's exactly what you're getting, man, like,
that's the idea behind it. Like, no, thanks, I don't
want any part of that. In fact, it should be
the opposite. Based on what Alex is saying, there's a
TV show on. I don't know what it's honest, these
undercover soccer players. Have you guys seen this somebody looking up,
looking up on your phone. It's like cover lovers or something.
(23:38):
Is it on after vander Pumplin? It just happened to
come on, yeah, after something else. And it's all these
popular professional soccer players. And the whole thing is they
don't tell the girls who they are, and the whole
premise is they want these women to like them for
who they are, not for what they could offer.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
It's the opposite of do you guys remember the reality
show show Millionaire where the dude was pretending he was
a millionaire and he's like kidding, And.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
You know what these guys are learning though.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
These guys are learning that it's really hard to find
chicks to like them when nobody knows how much money
they have or how popular they are in professional sports.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
And listen, that's a knock on women. It's not not
a knock on women, but it's a knock on dating
in society. That you're right, if some guys like, I'm
a professional soccer player, he doesn't realize how much of
that is his game.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
One of the things that's like the dudes and the
guys are like, we feel so bad because we know
how popular this dude is. This dude's my hero, and
the girls on the show won't even give them the
time of day because they don't know who he is
or how much money he makes. Anybody know the name
of the show, Love Undercover. It's actually pretty good.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
I'm gonna download it for the flight. Dude, I swear
we get hugo.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
You know what, Love Undercover is a pretty decent show
I haven't heard anyone talk about. And it's about these
really popular, young and handsome Some are young and handsome,
some are just really rich soccer players and trying to
find women to like them for who they are, not
the money they have. So to think there's a place
now where you have to show how much money you
(25:08):
have to get in and then you have women who
don't have to show anything.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
I just have to show up, look good. No thanks?
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Well, you know what, before before we get to weekend
hob nobin. Yeah, I do have a sports question and
we'll get to Manzi's update in a second. If you
are a professional athlete mm hm, and you're making a
ton of money and that's that's your world, would you,
I mean, do you want to lead with that? First
of all, you would because it's probably your social circles.
(25:36):
But is that where you would not find the type
of woman you would want.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Maybe it's so it's so hard. Do you want to
use your success or your advantage because that's part of
who you are.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
It is, but you want them to like you for
more than that. That's the whole goal, because there's more
to you than you are you just a broadcast.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
That's a that's a part of you though, right part.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
But you know that doesn't always end up to be
the greatest circumstances situation. So think about it. The new
way to get into a club? Where is this club?
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Again? By the way, New York City, New York City's
doing this? Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Exclusive exclude you're going to attract the lowest of the
low Really at the end of the day, Oh, you
got a lot of money, but who are you attracting
with that money?
Speaker 1 (26:21):
True? You know, think about that.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
You know I was gonna I was gonna ask you
before we gets to weekend, Hobna. But if you were
an NBA or Major League Baseball or any player NFL,
particularly because a lot of times helmets are on, people
don't recognize them when they're out and about unless you're
you know, a marquee guy, how early do you drop
in a conversation that you are a professional athlete if
you are trying to meet a woman.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
That's the thing is, it's a two part thing.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Everybody loves the attention and maybe the glory it comes
with being noticed and recognized, but I don't think that's
the best way to find It sounds corny to find love.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
It just doesn't.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
But I'm saying if you're a if you're in a
backup safety on the Jags and you're out and so
you're flirt with some girl, you so badly want to
be like, I'm a professional football player because you.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Know it gives you clout. But at the same time
you're like, oh, maybe I don't want to drop that.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
It's probably case by a case for every player. I'm
sure it comes up immediately just based on how they
carry themselves and have a look.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
So, anyway, any thoughts on this?
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Let us know at eight seven, seven ninety nine on
Fox Again in front of.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
A live studio.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Yeah, tep P Arizona can't wait to have a drink

what you need to watch in the world of sports
and pop culture right here on the Cavino and Rich Show.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yes, I saw a clip that made me, really made
me miss a show that I think we all loved
and I wish the character came back. But I saw
a clip of Kenny Powers with Stevie.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
I miss Kenny.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
You guys watch down, but I remember his was like
chemistry with that goofball Steve that he was friends with Due.
I posted it on my social media at Steve Cavino
and the whole scene with the fifth thing is so funny.
I feel like we need them back somehow, someway. Oh
(29:50):
you know what, I watched out to Kenny and Stevie.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
A show that you never watched I watched the pilot
again because I just happened to see it on like
American Lines had it on their inflight thing.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Okay, you were never a modern family guy.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Huh never? No, that's I mean interview show. Interviewed a
lot of the guys from the show on our show.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Yeah, but my family. I think that's like one. You
should go back and watch that.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
Network TV is never so much better than thattware. That's
that's that's so doesn't fit in like what you're thinking
of network TV.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Sim You're the boy who cried great TV show and
most of them stink.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Well, you know what we're gonna go over weekend, hob
nobbin left, Let's go.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
For the weekend.
Speaker 8 (30:29):
You're winning bets for talking points if you get stuck socializing.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
You ever done anything dangerous?
Speaker 1 (30:34):
You ever dance with the devil in the pale line?
Friday brings us.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Weekend, hob no man, all right, a lot of us
are gonna watch the same thing, So I'm gonna switch
it up. I already talked about one. It's based on
what we were just discussing. I found it just by
a chance. What was I watching on Peacock to have
found this in the first place. Something was on Peacock. Oh,
I know, my girlfriend's watching a House of Villains. Have
you guys watched the show? It's not bad. Buddy Joe
(31:00):
McHale hosts it, and I guess it just started to play,
this Love Undercover show.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
If you like trash TV.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
I didn't want to watch this. I didn't want to
like it. It was just on and the premise is
kind of great. These are famous, young, famous soccer players
that are worth millions. They have millions of followers on
social media. Everywhere they go people know them. But the people,
the women there that are there to date them and
find love, they just think they're finding love with foreign men.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
So okay, I like it.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
So it's called Love Undercover, and it's about these rich
soccer players trying to find love, you know, for who
they are, not what they do and how much money
they have. It's actually pretty good. Love Undercover on Peacock. Now, Rich,
I think you'll be excited about this one. The End
of Obesity on Paramount plus the South Park Special, Cartman's
One Yes, Cartman's on Ozembic. You've probably seen a little
(31:53):
lead up to this, but again, that's gonna be on
Paramount plus the End of Obesity South Park, and just
because there's so much basketball and everything else going on,
I know Danny G's gonna talk about that.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
I'm just saying that the Yankees are on fire right now.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
So I'm super pumped to watch the Yankees padres this weekend.
Wan Soto against his former team. I think that'll be
kind of fun. So Yankees padres this weekend for me.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah, I am not watching the Mets. They are disappointing me.
They've lost like, you know what, seven of their last ten.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
So there's a show on Netflix that just debuted, Tires
Shane Gillis. If you like Shane Gilli's very funny comedian,
He's got a new show. It's trending number one right now.
So Tires twenty two minute episodes. I think you'll like it.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
And again a guy who got the last laugh getting
fired from SNL. Now he's his own show on Netflix,
just slaying it in the comedy world. And I've heard,
by the way, Rich, I've heard like great things about
this show, so it's supposed to be great.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
Downloaded all six for the flight twenty minutes each. So
Tires at List. Jennifer Lopez has a new movie. I
don't know. It's like some futuristic j low action movie.
This isn't what not to watch. This is maybe you
want to watch it.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
Atlas and my daughter and I'm gonna watch with her.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
Film of the Unicorn. If you're living that dad life,
it's an animated movie where.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
A donkey falls in a pile of glitter and everyone
thinks it's a cool year.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
If you're living the dad life, you might watch tail movie.
You know that sounds good.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
It's on Netflix now. On Apple TV, which I always loved.
Danny g you and I You Got Me on the
Big Door Prize.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
I like that show.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
Dark Matter has been fantastic, three to four episodes deep.
I think I might start Sugar. Is anyone watching Sugar
So Good? I just finished it. Yeah, the finale was
last Friday.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
So good, So Sugar.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
On Apple TV and Danny's defense, He's been talking about
that for a month, so yeah, you gotta jump on it.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
There is There is a show on Apple TV also Loot.
Have you seen Loot?
Speaker 3 (33:49):
That might be a good one. But if you're into
stand up comedy. Rachel Feinstein has a new stand US
Special and she used to be on our show quite
a bit back in the day. Of course, Hey, that's
in the world of comedy and stuff. What do you
got Danny to night?
Speaker 6 (34:00):
You know, the MAVs are at the Minnesota Timberwolves of
Los Angeles.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Let's go t Wolves. Yep, all right, ey Wolves.
Speaker 6 (34:07):
Tomorrow the Dodgers are in Cincinnati. I'm looking forward to show.
Hey hitting a home run at the Great American Ballpark.
That will be epic. How dare you boomy? Well, there's
some d Bags fans here. I love you a zone.
Sorry you guys check this. It's not till next Tuesday,
(34:27):
but it's worth talking about. The LA Clippers are getting
their own winning time courtesy of FX and Hulu. It's
the reaction from real life players. Is it going to
be better than the thirty for thirty? This is like
the Sterling Affairs that was on that thirty for thirty.
They're going to explore the former Clippers owner Donald Sterling
in his twenty fourteen scandal. So it's a series and
(34:51):
people are looking forward to this because you know, the
Clippers the red headed step child of Los Angeles and
we always tease the great Ben mallor By playing this off. Yeah,
that's a lot of people looking forward to this series.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
So that's what you need to watch in all the
sports and entertainment this weekend. And of course we know
what Iowa Sam's watching tonight live. And by the way,
Kaylyn Clark, better win, bro, you blew a free trip
to Arizona.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
It's true.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
Man. I was saying, since you're going there as press,
are you not allowed to wear your you know, Ken
Clark jersey and you have your foam.
Speaker 5 (35:30):
Finger Gottamy and pro and so I will be dressed
as just a normal old Joe press, you know, a
member of the corps.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
Do you know I got yelled at once for this.
We went to the All Star Game at City Field.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Yeah, I forgot about it and we went up to
get our press credentials and I was wearing my Mets
jersey and like, yeah, you can't be wearing that, you're press.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
I'm like, aha, and no, for real?
Speaker 2 (35:51):
So I don't like Rich isn't used to people telling
him no.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
I was like, I'm playing, but I'm Rich. Yeah, But
I was like, I'm not like the press. We were
like idiots that are on the radio.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
I'm flyling right now. So I had to cover up
my Mets jersey. Like whoever it was with, does someone
have a hoodie? I was like, okay, is it okay now?
They gave you a dinner jacket? Yeah, like yes, I
had to wear a collar shirts only. So yeah.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
So here we were at City Field and I got
yelled at. So I would say, I'm cuck away your
Kitlyn Clark jersey until you get in the stadium.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
By the way, our buddy Wes is here, Wes and Brae.
He was saying we should go to the Diamondbacks game
tonight at six forty Timbo slices.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
Yet, how far is it? I know?
Speaker 2 (36:29):
He's like, dude, bars fun times you can get some seats.
He's like, everybody should go tonight. I'm like, huh.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Last time we were there, remember we saw Reggie Jackson
and it was in an All Star game and I
kept staring at his nose hair. Reggie Jackson for being
a Hall of Famer one of the grounds. Yeah, no
one on his no one in his like crew, people
like they probably don't have the waybos to say Reggie
tribute nose hair.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
The whole time, I'm like dude's got terrible nosehair.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Well, we'll see. We'll come back on Monday with stories.
But I do want to thank everybody Cows, thank you
for being here. We appreciate it, and thank you everybody.
Back to the studio and at home, have a great
Memorial Day. Were given you and the promised land.
