I would not have been able to come because I'm
going to be at the game tonight and you guys
are in Tempe, you know, on the state over, so
it wouldn't have worked.

So and I respect your decision to stay. So I
don't want I don't want you to take this the
wrong way at all. I'm just thinking, have you ever
posed a bigger question? Have you ever had the choice
between two things?

Yes, this is going a couple of weeks ago with
Cavino and going to the Tom Brady Roast exactly.

That's where I got brought it up, you know, And
it happened with Rich and we have all these stories
all the time, and I'm sure there's other moments, maybe
there's sports related where you could have went to that game,
but you had chose something else. You remember, when you
say yes to something, you're saying no to something else.

That's just how it works.

I mean, it could be sports, it could be a concert.
But I know, like you had the opportunity to go
to the Tom Brady Roast.

Dude, I regret it.

Bait after aftermath, after I saw how great and massive
it was, and how so many people were there right
to be under that roof in the room where it happens. Man,
I blew it. But again I had a prior commitment.
I told my family, Hey, we're gonna get together and
come bine. It's sinking to my weekend and we'll have

Draw sounds like really compared to the tom Brady Roast
later on, you know that on that day in the morning.

don't know if he runs Arizona. But he hit me
up with an offer to see the tom Brady Roast.
But he was a little wishy washing about how good
the seats were. Not that would have made a difference,
but it seemed a little half baked at the time,
and I was like, ah, I'm gonna stick with my

And I did regret it. I did.

And then I think a lot of times everyone has
at least one story where they're like I was invited
to this and I passed, and something awesome happened. I
have friends that have missed no hitters in baseball. I
have friends that have missed out on like your buddy's
like it was the most amazing night ever, and that
was the night.

I feel I'm speaking on behalf of Rich. He'll probably disagree.
We had a chance to go see the Canelo Alvarez
fight in Vegas. Rich went to see some weak ass
convention with some weak ass old school wrestlers and it
was like four people at this convention instead of going
to Vega.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
I don't regret that at all. I regret it for
me that you did this. I think it was a
bad decision.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I thought it was a bad choice seeing your pals,
that's all great and grand.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
I get it, and that's the real reason why you
were there. I get that. But you chose a convention
where I chose seeing I chose to look like a completely.

Dead atmosphere instead of going to Vegas and having fun
and seeing Canelo. You downplayed the popularity of Canelo alvas
the face of boxing to justify that weak ass trip.

But I think that everyone has those ooh do I
choose A or B, and then you look back and
you say, did I make the right choice?

We had a whole block.

Of tickets and it was like we welcome the Coveno
and Rich listeners to Yankee Stadium and we're all pumped
around the big screen. And I don't know what it was,
but I was like, we got to get all these
people from out of town out of the stadium. You know,
we have to get them out of here before traffic hits.
We're gonna be like sardines in the subway. This is
not gonna be good. So we left in like the

seventh in Caavino was the one that was like now
everyone looks It was like sort of like, yeah, we
should probably go because I know how uncomfortable New York
City is for out of towners too, and I really
was being sort of considerate.

To that moment.

And that was the night that John Carlo hit a
walk off home run, right.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Wasn't that a walk off grand slam?

John Carlos staying, as they say, earned his pinstripes. And
there's nothing worse. We've talked about this, but there's nothing
worse than leaving a game and then hearing the roar
of the crowd in the backgrowd.

Dodger Stadium and here the crowd going not.

Because every Dodger fan knows from the history of Kirk
Kipson and those tail lights outside when he hit that
home run, you do not want to be one of
those people in the cars out in the park.

It happened to us in Denver, our Denver game this
year when Denver was playing the Vikings.

We went, we left.

Yeah, we went to Monday night football and it was
a game that was won on the last play and
in the fourth quarter of three minutes left, Like, yeah,
let's call an uber now, because we don't want to
get stuck here this place.

We're waiting for the uber and it's like the weakest
feeling you just stare at the stadium.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
And then the question is do you tell your friends
that you stayed? No, you lie because I.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Think in those cases, you like Danny g by the way,
that's the worst part of the story. Every time, like
that football game was Monday night football. Even my mom,
who really doesn't watch that much football.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
That was such an awesome game. I can't believe you
were there and I did. I felt somebody like, no,
well we left. So if you're one of those people.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
It was good, but we let we caught and then
you stayed a whole game, freeze your ass off, and
we left what like two minutes left in the game
just to catch the uber.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
It's when you don't need to correct people, just let
it go. I like, that's her fraud. If you're one
of those.

In a bit, if do you remember when Miami was
about to lose the NBA Finals with Lebron remember the
three pointer by Ray Allen, people had left?

Now if you one of those people that left, if
you were one of those people that left. The nineteen
eighty six World Series when the Mets, you know, there

game and they were like, oh my god, I can't
believe you were there. Do you have to admit but.

I think overall, even if they lose, it'll be worth it.
But if they win, then yeah, it'll be cool.

he had so much fun in Oregon with us. He's like, ah, man,

like maybe you made the wrong decision because whatever you
said no to turned out to be awesome.

Like I said, everyone's been invited to a game that
ended up being like a memorable one and you're like,
oh man, my buddy Mike on Long Island, he was
invited to a Yankees game and he's a Mets fan,
so he's.

But the caveat was yeah, but Doc Gooden's pitching Doc
good and being a former Met, and he's like, oh,
maybe no, I'm sitting this one out. And that's when

If they have their issues with it, they're squashing it,

of our beliefs.

we may not agree with this guy's beliefs and his
social stances on things, but that's our guy.

And I think if we all took that approach with colleagues,
friends and family, think could be a lot better where
we got in this mindset over the last handful of

that people are more willing to be understanding of others

But again, this is a question of different values. Right
There's certain times in life where maybe your friends have
done some questionable things are said questionable things that weren't

Race related or something different where you might.

Even if everyone's a good one to be like, hey,
you know, we got to come together as a team.

that's one thing, But just when someone disagrees with you,

we've seen so many other stories where people have done

because you don't want to have the premise of them
coming for your money or else.

Week ask people, bro, I mean it's an arrangement some people.
That's the point. For this premise to work.

Women get in free. Would you judge a woman that
goes to this club?

Yes, because like Wes said before, what is the name
of his place, gold diggers. That's exactly what you're getting, man, like,
that's the idea behind it. Like, no, thanks, I don't
want any part of that. In fact, it should be
the opposite. Based on what Alex is saying, there's a
TV show on. I don't know what it's honest, these
undercover soccer players. Have you guys seen this somebody looking up,
looking up on your phone. It's like cover lovers or something.

Is it on after vander Pumplin? It just happened to
come on, yeah, after something else. And it's all these
popular professional soccer players. And the whole thing is they
don't tell the girls who they are, and the whole
premise is they want these women to like them for
who they are, not for what they could offer.

It's the opposite of do you guys remember the reality
show show Millionaire where the dude was pretending he was
a millionaire and he's like kidding, And.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
You know what these guys are learning though.

These guys are learning that it's really hard to find
chicks to like them when nobody knows how much money
they have or how popular they are in professional sports.

And listen, that's a knock on women. It's not not
a knock on women, but it's a knock on dating
in society. That you're right, if some guys like, I'm
a professional soccer player, he doesn't realize how much of
that is his game.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
One of the things that's like the dudes and the
guys are like, we feel so bad because we know
how popular this dude is. This dude's my hero, and
the girls on the show won't even give them the
time of day because they don't know who he is
or how much money he makes. Anybody know the name
of the show, Love Undercover. It's actually pretty good.

I'm gonna download it for the flight. Dude, I swear

You know what, Love Undercover is a pretty decent show
I haven't heard anyone talk about. And it's about these
really popular, young and handsome Some are young and handsome,
some are just really rich soccer players and trying to
find women to like them for who they are, not
the money they have. So to think there's a place
now where you have to show how much money you

have to get in and then you have women who
don't have to show anything.

I just have to show up, look good. No thanks?

Well, you know what, before before we get to weekend
hob nobin. Yeah, I do have a sports question and

are a professional athlete mm hm, and you're making a
ton of money and that's that's your world, would you,
I mean, do you want to lead with that? First
of all, you would because it's probably your social circles.

But is that where you would not find the type
of woman you would want.

Maybe it's so it's so hard. Do you want to
use your success or your advantage because that's part of
who you are.

It is, but you want them to like you for
more than that. That's the whole goal, because there's more
to you than you are you just a broadcast.

That's a that's a part of you though, right part.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
But you know that doesn't always end up to be
the greatest circumstances situation. So think about it. The new
way to get into a club? Where is this club?

Again? By the way, New York City, New York City's
doing this? Yeah, that's wild.

Exclusive exclude you're going to attract the lowest of the
low Really at the end of the day, Oh, you
got a lot of money, but who are you attracting
with that money?

True? You know, think about that.

You know I was gonna I was gonna ask you
before we gets to weekend, Hobna. But if you were
an NBA or Major League Baseball or any player NFL,
particularly because a lot of times helmets are on, people
don't recognize them when they're out and about unless you're
you know, a marquee guy, how early do you drop
in a conversation that you are a professional athlete if
you are trying to meet a woman.

That's the thing is, it's a two part thing.

Everybody loves the attention and maybe the glory it comes
with being noticed and recognized, but I don't think that's
the best way to find It sounds corny to find love.

But I'm saying if you're a if you're in a
backup safety on the Jags and you're out and so
you're flirt with some girl, you so badly want to
be like, I'm a professional football player because you.

you're like, oh, maybe I don't want to drop that.

It's probably case by a case for every player. I'm
sure it comes up immediately just based on how they
carry themselves and have a look.

up with an offer to see the tom Brady Roast.
But he was a little wishy washing about how good
the seats were. Not that would have made a difference,
but it seemed a little half baked at the time,
and I was like, ah, I'm gonna stick with my

And then I think a lot of times everyone has
at least one story where they're like I was invited
to this and I passed, and something awesome happened. I
have friends that have missed no hitters in baseball. I
have friends that have missed out on like your buddy's
like it was the most amazing night ever, and that
was the night.

I feel I'm speaking on behalf of Rich. He'll probably disagree.
We had a chance to go see the Canelo Alvarez
fight in Vegas. Rich went to see some weak ass
convention with some weak ass old school wrestlers and it
was like four people at this convention instead of going
to Vega.

I don't regret that at all. I regret it for
me that you did this. I think it was a
bad decision.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
I thought it was a bad choice seeing your pals,
that's all great and grand.

I get it, and that's the real reason why you
were there. I get that. But you chose a convention
where I chose seeing I chose to look like a completely.

Dead atmosphere instead of going to Vegas and having fun
and seeing Canelo. You downplayed the popularity of Canelo alvas
the face of boxing to justify that weak ass trip.

But I think that everyone has those ooh do I
choose A or B, and then you look back and
you say, did I make the right choice?

and Rich listeners to Yankee Stadium and we're all pumped

but I was like, we got to get all these
people from out of town out of the stadium. You know,
we have to get them out of here before traffic hits.
We're gonna be like sardines in the subway. This is
not gonna be good. So we left in like the

seventh in Caavino was the one that was like now
everyone looks It was like sort of like, yeah, we
should probably go because I know how uncomfortable New York
City is for out of towners too, and I really
was being sort of considerate.

And that was the night that John Carlo hit a
walk off home run, right.

worse than leaving a game and then hearing the roar
of the crowd in the backgrowd.

Because every Dodger fan knows from the history of Kirk
Kipson and those tail lights outside when he hit that

year when Denver was playing the Vikings.

let's call an uber now, because we don't want to
get stuck here this place.

We're waiting for the uber and it's like the weakest
feeling you just stare at the stadium.

And then the question is do you tell your friends
that you stayed? No, you lie because I.

Think in those cases, you like Danny g by the way,
that's the worst part of the story. Every time, like
that football game was Monday night football. Even my mom,
who really doesn't watch that much football.

That was such an awesome game. I can't believe you
were there and I did. I felt somebody like, no,
well we left. So if you're one of those people.

It was good, but we let we caught and then
you stayed a whole game, freeze your ass off, and
we left what like two minutes left in the game
just to catch the uber.

It's when you don't need to correct people, just let

In a bit, if do you remember when Miami was
about to lose the NBA Finals with Lebron remember the

you were one of those people that left. The nineteen

premise is they want these women to like them for

the girls on the show won't even give them the
time of day because they don't know who he is
or how much money he makes. Anybody know the name

an NBA or Major League Baseball or any player NFL,
particularly because a lot of times helmets are on, people
don't recognize them when they're out and about unless you're
you know, a marquee guy, how early do you drop
in a conversation that you are a professional athlete if
you are trying to meet a woman.

That's the thing is, it's a two part thing.

Everybody loves the attention and maybe the glory it comes
with being noticed and recognized, but I don't think that's
the best way to find It sounds corny to find love.

backup safety on the Jags and you're out and so
you're flirt with some girl, you so badly want to

It's probably case by a case for every player. I'm
sure it comes up immediately just based on how they

a chance. What was I watching on Peacock to have
found this in the first place. Something was on Peacock. Oh,
I know, my girlfriend's watching a House of Villains. Have
you guys watched the show? It's not bad. Buddy Joe

McHale hosts it, and I guess it just started to play,
this Love Undercover show.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
If you like trash TV.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
I didn't want to watch this. I didn't want to
like it. It was just on and the premise is
kind of great. These are famous, young, famous soccer players
that are worth millions. They have millions of followers on
social media. Everywhere they go people know them. But the people,
the women there that are there to date them and
find love, they just think they're finding love with foreign men.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
So okay, I like it.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
So it's called Love Undercover, and it's about these rich
soccer players trying to find love, you know, for who
they are, not what they do and how much money
they have. It's actually pretty good. Love Undercover on Peacock. Now, Rich,
I think you'll be excited about this one. The End
of Obesity on Paramount plus the South Park Special, Cartman's
One Yes, Cartman's on Ozembic. You've probably seen a little

lead up to this, but again, that's gonna be on
Paramount plus the End of Obesity South Park, and just
because there's so much basketball and everything else going on,
I know Danny G's gonna talk about that.

I'm just saying that the Yankees are on fire right now.

So I'm super pumped to watch the Yankees padres this weekend.
Wan Soto against his former team. I think that'll be
kind of fun. So Yankees padres this weekend for me.

Yeah, I am not watching the Mets. They are disappointing me.
They've lost like, you know what, seven of their last ten.

So there's a show on Netflix that just debuted, Tires
Shane Gillis. If you like Shane Gilli's very funny comedian,
He's got a new show. It's trending number one right now.
So Tires twenty two minute episodes. I think you'll like it.

And again a guy who got the last laugh getting
fired from SNL. Now he's his own show on Netflix,
just slaying it in the comedy world. And I've heard,
by the way, Rich, I've heard like great things about
this show, so it's supposed to be great.

Downloaded all six for the flight twenty minutes each. So
Tires at List. Jennifer Lopez has a new movie. I
don't know. It's like some futuristic j low action movie.
This isn't what not to watch. This is maybe you
want to watch it.

the reaction from real life players. Is it going to
be better than the thirty for thirty? This is like
the Sterling Affairs that was on that thirty for thirty.
They're going to explore the former Clippers owner Donald Sterling
in his twenty fourteen scandal. So it's a series and

people are looking forward to this because you know, the
Clippers the red headed step child of Los Angeles and
we always tease the great Ben mallor By playing this off. Yeah,
that's a lot of people looking forward to this series.

yelled at. So I would say, I'm cuck away your
