Thank you, Danny g rate review and follow, and you
could possibly walk away with a Coveno on Rich stainless
steel Swiggy Now midweek major this hour and start thinking
about things you gave up for love. We're gonna chop
it up for first's rocking out.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I have a question, Yes, talking about some preliminary NFL
predictions worst to first, what's it gonna look like? I
I get oddly too excited about the thought of the
NFL season. My dad, I'm we're cut from the same cloth.
My Dad's like, oh, you know, baseball and this and that,
but before you know what football like it? Just what
is Paul es h from the same Quarteraw? Did you

(01:23):
think about all these randough players to chip off the
old blockhead? You? You know, you think of some rookies
that you're really intrigued to see, like, Oh, how's neighbors
gonna do, How's Caleb Williams gonna do? How's this guy
gonna do?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
There are some players that you forget even exist. And
I wonder because I'm seeing a little feature they're doing
on Dak Prescott on the NFL network. This is his
last year. Do you think if you had a again,
I love doing the whole build all your money. Do
you think Trey Lance sees the field this year? It's
a guy we forgot existed. Does Trey Lance take a

(01:59):
snap as a Dallas Cowboy this season? Yes? Okay? Do
the Cowboys hold on to him?

Speaker 4 (02:05):
I've been reading rumors about certain teams possibly being interested
in him later during camp where if there's any injuries
in the preseason.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Interesting stuff like that, you know, we're looking at a
guy with Trey Lance. And again, as a Niners fan,
you used to take a snap and his football and
people always get banged up.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
So yes, even if it's a series where like that
gets a little.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, that's all I'm going on it. I'm just thinking, Kavi.
You know that. You know how we always about grand opening,
grand closing Chris Rock style with NFL quarterbacks, and the
wiggle room you're given is non existent, kind of like
every network show that you talk about. Yeah, four episodes
in canceled. There's a sentiment that we forget because he
performed poorly out the gate. Trey Lance was a number

(02:48):
three overall pick that the Niners gave up a ton for.
He had all this. You know, remember the scouting report.
Don't have a lot of tape on this guy. But
the raw talent and raw ability? Did that just go away?

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Like so you're saying year and a half like two
years later, Yeah, garbage.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
The script just changed on the guy. It's just up
to him now to change it back. You know, the
narrative change what if because that team does have a
good roster. I'm not wishing this on anyone, but let's
say Dek got a little banged up, had to miss
a few weeks. Who's to say Trey Lance doesn't show
a skill set that we thought he might have had
a couple of years ago. If he does, winning fixes

(03:24):
everything right everything, absolutely, Yeah, then he's the hot story
and everybody's talking about it. That's how it works, you
know how every year here at Fox Sports Radio we
make our crazy prediction. Oh and then there's always one
person that's like, I told you so, I told you
don't be sleeping on trade Land. No, it's the same
person every time VJ Husky that does weekends here. But
there's always one person I told you, I told you, well,

(03:46):
if you say a thousand things, VJ one might come trip.
There's that one person. But love you, buddy, I'll tell you, buddy,
right now, mark the date. Nobody's saying it. Trey Lance
is gonna be a star. But uh, that would be
that would be like the funny shocking story, right like
Cowboys Dad gets a little banged up, Trey Lance the
secret weapon. Dude, Crazier things have happened. No one ever

(04:09):
thought Drew Bledsoe would sign one hundred million dollars deal
and be replaced by Tom Brady a month later. So
crazier things have happened. Absolutely, you're right now before we
get into midweek major again, this hour the biggest stories
in the world of sports and pop culture. We do
it every midweek. Are the stories mid week or major?
As the kids say, are these stories dog water? We'll

(04:33):
find out We're gonna have to change the name of
the segment. Damn well. But Deontay Wilder is kind of
in the news right now. I felt bad for him,
I'll be honest. Can you know over the weekend I
did watch that fight against zang Zai Lee jog or Zang.
This guy's a beast I've never he might be Remember

(04:53):
Zang weighs seventy pounds more than Deontay Wilder. He might
be one of the bigger heavyweights I've seen in a
long time. He made Deontay Wilder look tiny. And Deontay
Wilder is a big boy, big boy with a big
punch and one of the most exciting heavyweights you know
we had seen in a long time, and it really
helped boxing when box needed it. So he got knocked

(05:14):
out in the fifth round. We say knocked out. It
was like protect yourself at all times. Dude, that's the
number one rule in boxing. Lets his hands down. He's
out cold, and it's sad to see because he's never
been the same since Tyson Fury. Right, listen to put
in perspective, Caud we know is the big fight fan
more than anyone. We know, I'd say more than anyone
this whole network. Now when it comes to the heavyweight division,

(05:38):
there was a time where Deontay Wilder was forty to
o h. That right hand, the bronze bomber it might have.
His right hand was being compared to the Mike Tyson
ferocity of the eighties. He even knocked out a taco
on ESPN if you remember, Yeah, he punched the guy
to taco costume, and there was almost a lawsuit. By

(05:59):
the way, if you wouldn't unloaded on Zaying the way
he unloaded on that taco, you know he may have
had a chance. So anyway, Deontay Wilder, so he got
beat like convincingly bad. Well, no, to follow the story though,
is that he did have that trilogy with Fury and
it almost I hate to say it, I took the
life out of him. Well, yeah, that's exactly what happened

(06:19):
at him. He's been since since he's forty and Oh
he's three and four in his last seven fights, so
still a respectable an amazing forty three and four record,
But over the last seven fights since the Fury Trilogy began,
he's three and four. I mean, we see it in
sports all the time. People just lose the step Todd
record in the fight world, right, exactly right, It just

(06:42):
out of nowhere, Father time kicks in. You're not the
same guy. So Deontay Wilder's mother, Deborah is pleading publicly,
pleading publicly with her son to retire, saying he helped
bring back boxing in the US. Now just enjoy your life.
Debora told you, I say today's sports. I texted him.

(07:02):
You see, she was kind enough to not call him,
just send a simple text. I texted him and said, son,
we're having a party for you. You gave us the best
in boxing, the best boxing in the USA when boxing
was dead. You've gotten older, You've ran your course in
your journey. It's time to celebrate. He brought back boxing
to the USA, and we enjoyed all those knockouts. I

(07:25):
taped them, and I'm gonna look back at them. We
gonna laugh, we gonna cry, but we're gonna be happy.
Enjoy your life now, son, and teach other young men
how to become a champion. So the story has gone public.
Deontay the bronze bomber Wilder got knocked out bad.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
His mom.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
It must have been painful for all of his family
to see. Well, she's saying, you gotta stop time to celebrate,
And that's what the world's sort of thinking too, like, hey, hey, champ,
you did great man. You did the best with what
you had. You won an Olympic bronze medal. No one
really expected you to take boxing this far, and you
did because you were extraordinary. So I'm thinking based on

(08:09):
that things you gave up for love, Because a fighter's
mentality is you want to go out on top and
you want to prove that you still got it. Every
boxer thinks they still have it. Yeah, Well, as far
as Deontay Wilder goes, yeah, let me take it back
to this for a second. But he'd have to give
up the love of his life. The losses to Tyson Fury,

(08:32):
you could just say, yo, they matched up styles make fights.
Fury just had the best of them because he came
back and then won his next fight against Helenius, and
you're like, oh, maybe Tyson Fury. Maybe he fights Anthony
Joshua now Ruiz, maybe Ousik, and you thought maybe Deontay
Wilder turns around and then he loses to Joseph Parker
and zang back to back. Yeah, and that knockout, Like

(08:56):
you said, he got hit hard, turned his back and
didn't defend himself and got knocked out pretty bad. And
I think the writing's on the wall that his net
worth they're saying is fifty to one hundred million. His
boxing purses have equaled over one hundred million dollars, So
the guy's made a hell of a living. It might
be time, Deontay. Like we always say, rich, everybody has

(09:17):
an expiration date, the biggest cliche, father times, undefeated. All
these things are true, and it's sad when you see it,
but everybody has seen it with Deontay Wilder because he's
a shell of what he once was right in the ring,
in the ring, so hey, while he has all senses
about him still and he's still healthy, a man call
it quits. But should he give it up because his

(09:38):
mom is asking him to? So things you gave up
out of love because your mom said, because your wife said,
you loved it and you gave it up, and I'll
give you like I remember.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Can we see Deontay Wilder if Tyson can't go, can
we see him affect Jake Paul?

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Oh, that would be great. Deontay Wilder? Oh is that
right hand?

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:59):
He can do some like that. But Friday, by the way,
is when we find out if and when the new
date for the Tyson Jake Paul fight is. Because there
are some people saying there might not even be a
new date. So you know, crush your fingers now. When
I post the question rich gave it up for love?
It takes me back way back on a Wednesday to
our early Maxim radio days. I remember some dufis called

(10:21):
our show up and he was like, yo, man, you
believe my wife said to me, in order to get married,
I had to give up my kegurator. You remember that
story or doing us? And we were like, that's because
the guy was like he was painting his story out
that he had at a man cave right like he
has his whole garage set up. And the wife was like, look,

(10:42):
if we're gonna get married. You gotta stop inviting your
idiot friends over on random nights, get rid of that
caggurator you got, and time to grow up. And he
said that he was like on the fence because he
didn't want to give up that sort of lifestyle for
the future mother of his children, for his wife. But
he did, he said, yeah, he sold his key. Great,
and he was all bummed a back. I just I

(11:03):
always remember that thumb story. What great early two thousands
advice we gave. So what did you give up for love?
What did you give up for love? Well, I mean,
let's get the obvious out of the way. Strange we
all did the idea of, you know, settling down with
one woman, the idea of you're not special for that

(11:23):
one rich you're supposed to Ye, I'm saying, we all
hanging up. Of course, you're in a polyamorous sort of situation,
hanging up in Jersey. I'll give you two examples. I
have a buddy who doesn't ride a motorcycle anymore because
his wife and admitted. Deal, Like, all right, you're a dad.
Now that's a lifestyle. You're a dad. Now you are
not riding a motorcycle. You have kids, and we can't.

(11:46):
You can't. That's a big sacer. He sold, he sold
his Harley and he's like, that's just the old me. Now, wow,
I gotta see mine. Mine not that drastic. I'm sure
I've given up a lot. We all have. We just
don't know it. So I'm forcing you to think and
you're probably saying, good move. But for me, I'm like no,
because I'm stubborn, and I'm like, no, beat it. But

(12:06):
my girlfriend's like, you got to get rid of the earrings, dude,
and I'm like what. And part of that makes me
feel like now I'm gonna wear them all the time
and I'm never taking them off ever. We've all been
saying it, but you know, I was like, I mean, like,
if it makes you happy, fine, whatever. You know, I
guess you should wear the Barry Bonds dangling one. Would

(12:26):
that look on about my Lawrence Taylor one? You know,
you know you could pull it off. You pull it off.
So you know what, I don't make fun of him
cause you know, is the type of guy, Latino guy.
People can't see him on the radio. He can rock
the diamonds. So he had the black Onyx like I do.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Once a week was to keep a little piece of me,
as long as it's not a feather.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I'm good, mister t.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Bring the guy from the Bachelor franchise.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
He was on Bachelor in Paradise, right, I'm not wearing
graandmy earrings.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
A little dangly eat a little cross.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
You could do that, you'r ludding. So I did give
them up though you know, I know it's a dumb answer,
but I did. I don't any because she was like,
didn't your girlfriend also regulate how big your ste calendar
medallion could be? Like you wanted to buy a big
one and she's like, no, no, I was in Mexico
and I was about to buy this flavor flave sort
of medallion and yeah, I I well I still bought it,

(13:25):
but just not that big one. So again, things you
gave up for love, I got another one. This is
a rough one. There's gonna be a lot of people
that would say, no way, no how get fat a
no how, no way, no hell. And that would be
people that have given up their pets. Whoa yeah, absolutely
absolutely no way.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
Yeah I'm not giving up the cat for anything.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Know, profet No, no, no, no, no, no, a trade cat.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
I'm not giving up exter for anyone. Its like a
bearded dragon or something like, what if it's your lizard
or snake? Is that more understandable than your.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
I think somebody that owns a lizard or snake has
to answer that.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
I think it depends on the pay. If so, we
could Jake Roberts. But I'm like, if some beautiful woman,
I think that's what people need to keep in mind.
Beautiful woman wants to marry you.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
She's like, look, it's either me or the guinea pig.
I'm sorry, you got to give up the guinea pig. Professor,
I'm sorry, Profet, who's your dream girl? Who's your dream girl?

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Profets?

Speaker 6 (14:29):
Even if Shakira asked me to get rid of my cat,
I'm not getting rid of my cat.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
I agree that. So I said his levels, right, cats,
there is levels.

Speaker 6 (14:37):
I've lived with cats my entire life. Again, I can't
really answer her. To find a lizard, person's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Yeah, he's gonna have to find she's she is. She
likes can give up anything for love. Bro hold On,
It's like, I gotta I gotta dissect this one. Hold On, Profet,
what's your cat's name, Ruby?

Speaker 2 (14:58):
If she's ye, No, it's a it's a boy, a boy.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
I did not realize Ruby was astray. I adopted in Georgia,
and I did not realize at the time that he.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Was He was neutered. How cute some movies used to
live in on the streets.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
This is an easy transition, straight Catt. He's put on
a lot of pounds since being on the streets.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
I just want everyone to just imagine this. We can
imagine this and then move on. Chunks Ruby Profet's lasagna
eating Garfield cat.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
I have a video of him out on Twitter right now,
and I think I put on Instagram with him, like
checking out a humming bird.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Please. I want everyone to check.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
I want everyone to see what you would not give
up for Shakira, because I could just picture Shakira.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
It's not lying standing in front of Prefet. It's all
it could all be yours And you're like, no, Ruby,
that's you know what a man of integrity?

Speaker 5 (15:50):
He said, He's thinking, he's thinking about it.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
How hard right now?

Speaker 6 (15:53):
Ruby, Ruby deserves good things, just.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Like he's gone time with Shakira or like lifetime, lifetime,
Oh come on, but The truth is we all make change.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Maybe one time, we all make changes. We do, and
everybody gives up a little something to be one. You
give up a little bit of yourself whatever it is. Oh,
I got one to be. Relationships are compromised. Yeah, yeah,
what is the word that people always forget? What if?
What if you're with someone and you know there are
a good influence on you. You meet a great woman, you

(16:24):
made it. You meet a great guy and you know
that you know, yo, she's got she got the looks,
she got the smarts, she's motivated, she's a good woman.
Or ladies, you meet a great guy, but they say
to you, your friend is bad news. I don't want
you hanging out with that person anymore. If you know that,

(16:45):
they're sort of right. Yeah, like Manci, if you had
some uh you know, hood ra at hoe you hung
out with Sean and Sean was like, I don't want
you hanging with her anymore.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
He might be right, I mean right, yeah, you know,
maybe Sean did say you and your hood rat hose
can't go out as often, you.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Know, like I don't. I don't subscribe to that actually,
because I have a lot of degenerate friends. Yeah, but
there are dudes I grew up with, and that doesn't
mean I'm I'm a bad guy or that I'm easily
influenced by their antics, because I'm not. And every eighties
movie has like the nice girl and her fluesy best friend. Yeah,
it's true, it's true. So again, what did you give up?

(17:29):
The key here, though, is, if you want to be
real about it, rich is everybody probably give up something,
but you don't want to give up too much of
yourself longer you I did give up when I when
I in my previous relationship, when I first met Cavino,
Cavino is the guy that he'd be talking about it.
I got this snowboard, I got these skis. Cavino was
a you know, the most effective Latino on the slope

(17:52):
was a little snow bunny. Was a snow buddy. He
had a pink Yeah, I believe it, snow buddy Cavino,
what happens. I've been I've been skiing with him, and
he's way better than me. I married a woman who
had zero interest in it, so it's not like she
told me this or that, but there was just never
any I never went with my friends or I just
never went anymore because it just wasn't part of my

(18:12):
life anymore, you know, And I feel they got divorced.
The immediately went to Big Bear a certain person. You
could you really start to lose who you were, you know,
if you give up too much. Did anyone bring up fandom? Oh,
because that's a big one. If that's a big ask,
because again, a lot of these things make you who

(18:32):
you are. I never thought of myself as the ski guy.
I just like to ski. If if I was dating
a woman she was like, yeah, I don't like your
love it Yankees anymore. I'm like, well, I mean you
really do don't like Yeah, but then you don't like?

Speaker 6 (18:44):
This comes back to the question of like, what kind
of person this that you're hooking up with that is
demanding these sacrifices that would make me think less of Sekurra?

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Then yeah, you don't. You don't want to be with
someone that's demanding these things. However, Danny, let me take
you in a world where what make you? In a
world where your lovely wife Brenda does not exist? You're
a Raiders fan. Let's say you meet one of the
heirs to the Chiefs family, one of these one of
these Hunt girls that is you know, yeah, like I said,
Hunt with an h, I know you know what you're

(19:18):
talking about. She's she's a looker. I don't where you
were going, clean Kyler Diggins. So let's say you met
the air I don't know the marriage. You know, the Giants.
So they'd be a beautiful millionaire, billionaire woman who's the
heir of a team that's not the Raiders. Are you
still a Raiders fan? Of course?

Speaker 4 (19:40):
I have one of the signs in the stands that
say a house divided. You've seen that where the two
the couple are sitting next to each other in the
opposing jerseys.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Maybe I'm not that.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Loyal because I'd be like, yo, go Giants, go Chiefs,
give me my money.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Hey, Rich cave up his dream of having a man
cave for his wife. Yes, I hate the term man
cave to be honest, but you know Rich had an
opportunity to make his garage and his sign house. Like
he's like, you know, my this is my space. Sure,
and he was like, you know, out of love for love,
it's the Galancum. But my wife wanted space for her
stuff and honestly a place also put all the kids toys,

(20:20):
and I was like, I already have. He was like,
I'm already using one of our our guests. Our bigger
guest bedroom is our home studio. So I'm like, I'll
have both.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
No, you can have.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
But again to hang to hang my Joe Montana, Jersey?
Do I need a whole garage? No, we're here. We're
discussing because Deontay Wilder's mom is saying, Hey, time to
quit what you love to do the most, which is
fight boxing. It's over. I got one, give it up.
I got one. Moncis who is adorable and talented and
everything a man could want to great intro.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
Yeah, can we record that played again?

Speaker 1 (20:57):
What ifs was a hot, eligible woman and she goes, yeah,
but you know me, I don't eat meat. I want
you to also be a vegan or that's such a
good one.

Speaker 7 (21:10):
Agree.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
I would be like possibly open minded to that, depending
on how cool or hot or smart is Like you
gave me like you know, if you were like, she's beautiful, talented, smart,
and yeah I don't need cheeseburger's.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
That suddenly you're eating a soy burger. Maybe maybe I've
become the spokesman for just beyond me.

Speaker 6 (21:27):
This, I feel like, is a very different conversation of
giving up like a pet or a friend, because that's
these aren't giving up like your lifestyle. You're changing, not
giving up a friend or an animal you felt incredibly
give meat.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
It's pretty significant. I think that's a lifestyle change. What
if someone was a big party here mildly or big?
What if it was something as mild as.

Speaker 6 (21:48):
But that is something you're taking on yourself versus making
someone else, Like if I'm giving up the cat, that
is making that cat's life like more miserable because of it.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Not true, And you're right saying someone don't be friends
with that. But if I said, hey, I don't you know,
I can't be with you if you smoke weed anymore?
Would you would? Would most people be like no, No,
that's part of what I what I do? Was it
worth it? There's people that have so again eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox, all based on Deontay Wilder

(22:17):
giving up fighting for the people that love him. I'm
sure the other women in his life too, are probably like, hey,
you know, it's probably time to give it up, and
out of love for them, he's going to have to
do that. So what did you give up out of love?
Let us know it's a good question. Yeah, your thoughts
at COVID and rich and coming up next, My favorite

(22:39):
segment of the week is all the pressures on spot
to come up with good stories. Oh it's been mid week,
major what's going on in the world of sports and entertainment.
We dissect all the fun stories going on and that's
next right here on Fox Sports Radio. Now you've put
it off long enough, is time to replace your tires.
You know, tires are the sneaker to your vehicle. I
know you got to step your game up week. Sneakers

(22:59):
week and weak tires. What does that say about you
in your car? Are you saying to someone with like
dirty bed sneakers probably has weak tires. Yeah. Tire Iraq

us in between the ears, anyone from a therapist to
someone like Ed Milett for John Gordon. We've all been

(24:33):
through some sort of adversity to get to the top.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
We've all used different tools.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Cavino and Richlifmatirack dot com studio. Thanks again for following
our podcast. By the way again, search Covino and Rich
and Everything's at Covino and Rich on social media. Based
on Deonte's mom, Deontay Wilder's mom pleading, Hey, if you
love us, you're gonna give up boxing. We ask you

(25:14):
Fox Sports Radio Nation. You gave it up for love.
Maybe it was your mom, maybe it was your wife.
You gave it up for love. And off the air,
Rich and I are talking, you know, having real talk
about like we know people that gave up friendships, teams,
they rooted for basically everything that sort of made them
them out of love. So we all get and I'm

(25:35):
not saying that's a good thing, that's a terrible that's weird.
I have family members who I'm like, you really don't
care about your team anymore. You don't. Oh you still
you know you still bowl or play softball? You love
up themselves? Yeah, they gave themselves up out of love.
Cause you're like, who is this guy? What happened to him?
But what are some of the things you gave up?
We all gave up something like Rich said, strange wrap

(25:59):
it up with one on call eight seven seven ninety
nine on Fox, and then midwek major, Yeah, who got
the ennygy? Let's go to Canada. It's a zomb in Winnipeg. Yo,
what up azomb?

Speaker 8 (26:11):
Hey guys? Hey hey, yeah, So just on the exact
same topic as Wilder, I gave up boxing for my mom.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Just thought it was too dangerous for you at a
certain point or what was that about?

Speaker 8 (26:23):
Well, yeah, she was squorried. I mean I had a
pretty good amateur career, won some championships, some golden gloves,
talked about the pro and.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
She begged me and begged me to not go pro.

Speaker 8 (26:33):
So I did it.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Wow of love for your mom.

Speaker 9 (26:38):
Yeah I read it now though, but uh it was
it made her happiness time.

Speaker 8 (26:43):
She felt safer for me.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
So I could see where Deoncet's mom is coming from.
Adrian wanted Rocky to stop boxing. Remember Rocky is like, yo,
I don't know you to stop being a woman, stopped
asking me to be a man. Yeah that now it
is true. Yep, so hey, thanks for that man. So
you can't win her now that's in Rocky for you win.

Speaker 8 (27:02):
Well.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Anyway, it's time for mid week major.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
Let's do this, Covino and Rich get you over the
middle of the week when mid.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Week major major.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
I love that we throw sports and pop culture headlines
and topics at the fellas and it's like the.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Kids says week definitely major.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
See it our scoring mid week Major.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
It was impressive consider he ran in there and people
can always see behind the scenes.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Danny forgot the Love Dice.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
And ran full speed together him and then back in
the studio just in time to hit the Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Oh, the treadmill has paid off the past couple of months.
Comin already, did you Yeah? And this is to see
who gets first take Yeah, I got a ten and
Rich's rolling the red Love Dice ritual. He got four
all right. Cove is in the driver's seat.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
And now, ladies and gentlemen, the most famous person from
Scotch Points, New Jersey, besides Judy Bloom, Scotty Scotty Scotty
Scotty cheft Spotty Boy's right.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Let's get this out of the way.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
So, as you know, we found out last week Jason
Kelsey doesn't wash his feet when he showers. Let's stick
down there while his brother Travis has his back, revealing
he too often showers without scrubbing the little foot seas
he elaborates.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Hold on.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
He elaborated by saying that he only bends down to
scrub if he has a grueling football practice or workout. Otherwise,
he just lets the runoff take care of his lower half.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Gross midweekerbage. This is so weak because it offends me off.
It offends me. That's why it's as atrocious as the
hairline of Scottie Brocious. It's atrocious. It's like my mom said,
two wrongs don't make it right. Just because your dumb

(29:10):
brother doesn't wash his feet and you don't wash your
feet doesn't make you both awesome. The Kelsey's are wrong. Okay,
you know what the hotspots you gotta be scrub a dubbing.
You gotta get a as again to quote my mom,
a scott you gotta get some sort of wash rag.
You gotta get some sort of some sort of sponge.
You gotta scrub a dub in the hot tub right way.

(29:31):
This is baby talk, Burton Ernie scrub in the hot tub.
You gotta teach grown adults. I'm sorry. I know it's
a cultural thing too, by the way, and that's where
the half breed Mexican side of me comes out, because
a lot of white people, based on the studies, don't
use a washrag, they don't use sponges. I'm here to
tell you, scrub your feet, dave you a brillo pad.

(29:54):
I'll tell you this.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
I must be one of those white boys then, because
I think what Travis Kelsey said is exactly what I
say said, But because he's Kelsey, it's.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
A headline bro. I said, not every shower, not every
shower requires a foot scrub. He said that if it's
a hard football practice, or if it's like a deeper shower,
he'll scrub his feet. But just that little how lazy are.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Taylor Swift said she didn't wash her feet uproar.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
You know what it is.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
It's your own ego thinking your feet are so great
you don't need cleaner than others.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
I you're yeah, you think you hear this guy's soap
feet or cleaner than others. He's watching around barefoot. He
walks around barefoot, walk around barefoot. His feet looks like
they's seasoned by the end of the day. He's like
one of those Is that a dope bo inner? Your foot?
I have the cleanest fish out of my face. Wash
your feet.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Story, Come in here for a foot spell test? Have
other stories go on next door? I don't know where
to go from here.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
All right? Uh? And Kelsey's they're great guys. They got
gross feets. Okay, great?

Speaker 6 (30:58):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Jeopardy finally needs to take a hint realize that, like
smart people, stuff and sports don't mix.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
I don't know if you saw this.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
It seems like every time, you know, every time a
sports category pops up, it becomes viral. Why because the
contestants don't know any of them. Last night's episode, the
category was twenty first century sports, filled with like the
most basic of questions, such as who won the two
thousand and eight World Series, giving the names Cole Hamils
and Ryan Howard Yeah, and simply putting up a photo

(31:26):
of Russell Westbrook and no one could identify first of all, they.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Said the Chicago Cubs and the host what's his name?
That nerd Jennings. He's like, yeah, great guests, No it's
not they're Phillies. Okay, you're wrong. And Westbrook. No, Kevin
Durrayt was the answer, and they said Kevin Durrayt. It
was Westbrook, Like, give me a break. This is a
mid story spot. It's mid because we've seen it so
many times. But we need to be better, Like people

(31:51):
need to be more well rounded. I get it, they're smart,
butever it's smart and whenever they choose to be smart
in like, yeah, like you can't be not rounded enough
to know little bit about everything. This is. This is Madre.
I'll tell you why. It's just another reminder that, like BookSmart,
people need to be just as well rounded. You talk
about some sports nerd that might not know some science fact.

(32:12):
Unless you're a scientist, that fact means nothing to you either.
So yeah, you're lacking in social awareness a lot of times,
and you're lacking in like pop culture common knowledge. Yeah.
It's like someone that is like, oh a sports fan,
I don't know music. How about you know a little
of everything.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
I don't know history, I know math, Like, how about
you be well rounded, don't be a dumbass good sports?

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Yeah, all right to say, if you can't identify the
oa phillies by Cole Hamil's Ryan Howard in a picture,
I like you should. I don't even know what to
tell you what to do?

Speaker 2 (32:40):
It was rich Tyreek Hill had some fun with his two.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Tagoola Voloa via.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
During a press conference earlier this week, Hill was talking
about his QB, saying he saw him at the Pro
Bowl last year and that he was fat ash and
apparently he showed up to practice twenty he found twenty
five pounds lighter, so he's looking a little bit slimmer,
but joking that he's probably slipping some of zempic into
his body because he's like, what is this that thing
everybody's on ozepic and then Jaylen Waddall even jokes saying

(33:11):
he misses chubby Tua. Tua said he just reduced his
intake of suits. That is, just doing a little bit
more working out, so we'll see how it affects his
performance midweek or maker.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
A lot of these guys in the offseason put on
weight fighters, mahomes, athletes because they're not training they're not playing.
So as long as he's in shape when it matters,
that's all that matters to me. You know, it shows
me he was living his life a little bit. We
all do know. He lost twenty five pounds. I know,
but I'm saying he has the tendency to gain weight
here and there. Yeah, I think it's good. I'm ready.

(33:43):
Look at John Carlo Stanton, John Carlow, lost a little weight,
got trim, having a you know, back to the old
John Carlow. Look at you know guys. You're right, guys
do fluctuate, And I think it's great. Slim to him
might be again, as long as they're trim when it matters.
Slipping one more, okay, all right.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
One Edmonton Oilers fan received a titill leading offer from
a port.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Signing that's a word.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
During last month's Western Conference Finals versus the Stars, one
fan flashed her chest on camera and saw this I
did so a rep from the website The porn Dude.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
I've never heard of this one, but apparently a sixty
one million viewers a month. Richard, Are you up on this?
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
They extended her offers, saying that she has assets. I'll
just the B word, the b worred. I don't know
if I can say it now, that were made for porn.
They're made for porn. And they offered her up to
one hundred thousand dollars to appear on one of their videos.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Right, So the Internet has yet to identify this mystery woman,
but someone passed along the message because I would take
the offer.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
For this woman one hundred thousand dollars. Imagine the offer
that crazy porn lady, remember crazy play bad. I'm telling
you right now, she probably a lot of offers. This
is a mid story because it sort of makes me
mad that you flash and you get that kind of
money thrown at you. Geez, you've been working twenty something

(35:08):
years in radio. Nobody gives a funk. Well, let's go
to MANSI for an update. We want to which might
thought is simply this this like, uh stun you this
story and it upsets me. Not for me, I don't
care if I'm doing just fine. I'm saying there's a
hell of a lot of people that are working hard teachers,
you know, you know, people in the healthcare industry that

(35:31):
are like, oh, this girl shows her boobs. It gets
one hundred thousand dollars like that just seems like such
a weird You know, there's so many weird ways to
make money. Now, you should do it and donate it
to charity. Who's charity? Your friend? Yeah, our friend. Right,
let's let's move on from that story.

Speaker 9 (35:48):
We're gonna check in on baseball, guys, because the Reds
were down to start the ninth inning in Colorado, and
then they scored five runs. Spencer Steer a two run
homer followed by a grand slam from Jonathan India, and
they beat the Rockies twelve to seven. Nick Castellanos with
a two run homer. The Phillies blank the Brewers two zero.
The Cardinals avoided the sweep. They beat the Astros four

(36:09):
to two, and it was all Red Sox against the Brays.
In fact, Raphael Devers homer twice nine zero was the
final score. Right now, in baseball, the Mets have added
some more runs Rich five zero against the Nationals to
the six inning.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Yeah, after a rain delay, Look at them getting in
a groove.

Speaker 5 (36:25):
The Giants have added another run as well. Wil Flores
did hit a grand slam already for San Francisco, there
beating the diamondback seven three, bottom of the eighth inning.
Let's move on to the NFL. Were forty nine Ers
safety Telenoa hufunga I said that right he suffered season ending,
you just always feel like you're not Yeah, it's great
season ending acl tear last year. Says that he's gonna

(36:46):
be on the field at some point in training camp
with the goal of playing in Week one. Chiefs agreed
to rookie terms with their first round pick Xavier Worthy.
The Chargers are releasing their center and captain Corey Lindsley.
He's expected to retire after ten seasons in the WNBA.
The league has rescinded that second technical foul that was
called on Angel Reese last night after she disagreed with

(37:08):
an official. And we keep hearing that JJ Reddick is
gonna be the Lakers coach. Well, this is what he said.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
My focus right now is on calling the NBA finals.
In terms of shams that will be addressed once the
season is over.

Speaker 5 (37:23):
That will be addressed when the season is over. There
you go, guys, Thank you, Mark, You're welcome.

what's up?

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Hey?

Speaker 8 (39:24):
So I had to get rid of my anger towards
my cowboys.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
Oh okay, wow. The woman was like, listen, you let
this control you too much.

Speaker 6 (39:36):
You break a wall or something.

Speaker 8 (39:38):
Cowboys would lens and I would throw my jersey, I
would stop watching football, I'd stop. I'd be angry for
about four days.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Yeah, can't let that you can't you can't bring that
into the you know, into the rest of your week.
I've like a don't you feel like it's a safe thing, that's.

Speaker 6 (39:54):
Like a positive development in someone's life. Yeah, that's a
good one. I think it's safe to say if you're
a big football fan and if your team loses a
rough game on Sunday, you're allowed to be sour on
Monday morning, but by lunch on Monday, if you're not okay,
you need help. Like I'm allowed to wake up Monday
morning like, man, the nine are really good.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Not even that anymore rich when you become an adult.
I had a trail.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
I had a friend tell me, Danny, you're still angry
right now. Later on a Sunday evening, they're at dinner.
The players are at dinner having a good time right now.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
Yeah, it's a good way to look at it.

Speaker 6 (40:26):
It is.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
You see, if you see a fighter lose a fight
and you're all mad, they're partying in Vegas two hours later. Yep.
But I think that if you are die hard Bruce
Willis style, I think the next day you're allowed to
wake up like oh man, But then you go to work.
You have kids to drop them off at school like
life goes on. Relax, You'll be fine as gambling wasn't
brought up. You know, I'm thinking about why the fans

(40:48):
are often more mad because a lot of times they
lost the money. Oh you're saying you were surprised. More
people said I hadn't give up gambling my wife.

Speaker 6 (40:56):
They do.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
They just do it secretly. You know how many guys
I know that are like, doesn't know. I've said it before,
but I have gambling and strip clubs have not gone away.
I have a buddy who your wives just think they have.
I have a buddy who's a grown man. He has
two kids, and he has to like lie to his
wife that occasionally he'll smoke weed. Like you're grown up.
You have to lie to your wife for real. Okay, Anyway,

(41:22):
tonight later today, in fact, in a little bit, Danny
g your Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Pirates and
Skeens is pitching, Come on, batting order, wake up, And
it got Covino and I talking before. Maybe we could
continue this tomorrow, but uh is Skeens close to the
top of the list of must watch young athletes. I

(41:43):
know you could argue, like, oh, Tani or Sodo for
the Yankies. But I'm talking about young players where it's like, oh,
I got to get a look see in the past
few weeks, in the past month, I'd say Skeens is
up there with I'm not saying he's up there with
Caitlyn Clark, but he's in the conversation of like he's
a buzz name that gets you excited. Hey, let's see
how he did. I'm definitely tuning in and see how

(42:05):
he does the way that game is in the bottom
of the first right now, Oh it's already started, but yeah, okay,
but yeah, he's one of those must watch, like current
we need to update the list every so often, so
we'll do it soon. On the coveno Ar, Yeah, I
feel like before you know it, I know it's it
hasn't begun yet, but I feel like in the beginning
of the NFL season, I bet your ratings will even
back up this sentiment the eyes on Kayleb Williams to

(42:28):
see if this Chicago Bears team, because it's a big
market team, the Bears win good big you know, Chicago
outside of LA and New York, third biggest city Chicago,
So I think You're going to see a lot of
eyes on Kayleb Williams, and you can put him in
that conversation with Skeens and Caitlin Clark and Anthony Edwards.
Anthony ed you know what, I'll be honest. Once he
really started picking up in the postseason, it's like, yo,

(42:49):
I got to get a better look at this guy.
I've been watching him, but let me take a closer look.
Those are the updated names. Who are other people getting
you to buy a ticket? Maybe it's in the world
of entertainment. So think about it. We'll touch on it
tomorrow and have a great Wednesday night. Ariva Derci baby,
see you in the Promised Land bed Everybody go bye, guys,
