Dan Patrick Show. I guess we'll be filling in a
few weeks. I'm pretty sure said he had no clue
who Doc Rivers was when he got the part. He's like,
all right, now, who's Doc Rivers? I love that about him?

And Larry's like, I don't watch sports. So he went
to a barbecue.

He invited Laurence fishburn invited Doc Rivers and a mutual
friend over his house for a cookout, and he observed
Doc Rivers arguing at this barbecue, I get a fun way,
like you know, busting chops. And he's like, I was
just watching him and he was talking to Dan Patrick
about how it was easier to play Doc Rivers, having
no preconceived notion of Doc Rivers. He's showing what a

great actor, what a great actor Laurence Fishburne is. And
if you're not watching that show, get off yours and
watch it. It's besides the NBA Finals and some hockey

Would you say this would be a second wind for
Lawrence Fishburns. I haven't seen him in much. I know
he hosts that stuff on the History Channel.

It's like a twentieth win. I I mean, I'm just
trying to get back to this, Russell Wilson.

It's Ed O'Neil's third win after Marriati Children, Modern Family,
and now this.

and Danny g makes a great point. Maybe he's just
trying to strategy strategically make a case that he's feeling
second in life, so that he's the guy for the Steelers.

But you know what, because the sentiment really would be
maybe you start with Russ, but if anyone's going to prevail,
it's probably the younger, justin Fields. So maybe Russe is
saying this to be like, hey everyone, I'm feeling young.
He was creating the narrative right that, Hey, I found
the fountain of youth. So I think that's a great
way to start things. I think it's a great way

I think we've seen a lot of examples of people
who seemed done and then they came back. I think
at the Fight Game a lot of times people who
you may have thought were done and they came back.
I don't want to give away all the examples. So

and Rich. But you mentioned Gino Smith. You thought he
was kind of done and found second life, second win

Done, I mean kind of done Gino Smith, everyone thought

Yeah, but again he proved you wrong. I got he
wasn't I got. I got a couple of good ones

come to mind. And you could add to the list
people who genuinely have seem to have found the fountain

of youth in sports. You could say actors, movies, rock stars. Hey,
sometimes you need to shake things up for that feeling,
for that motivation. So Vester Sloane on some documentary I
saw about him. He's like, yeah, like I'm moving from
moving from the West coast to you gotta shake things up,
stay motivated. Absolutely, like he's moving his life because sometimes

you just need a fresh start. And that could help
Russell Wilson here. I mean, you could say he had
it in Denver, but maybe it just wasn't a good fit.
Stallone said, just in life, forget about sports too. In life,
sometimes you just need to clean the.

We just thought he was done, but he proved everybody

It's great motivation. Like if you feel stale in your routine,
you might need a new change of scenery. It could

a new relationship could revitalize you all of a sudden.

But dude, everybody thought that guy was done. Remember the

found his momentum and his mojo on the mound again,

a guy that's on the big deal that we all thought, eh,

may be done on the field. Baker Mayfield found new
life in Tampa where you sort of wrote that guy off.

Maybe it's an adjustment, like you said, change of scenery,
but you found something. You found your second life, your
second wind, your fountain of youth.

rides his mountain bike to the office. He says, rich

rich You guys are palaces. But yeah, reinventing yourself. You know,
you lose the strike zone. You find uh, oh, this

I think he was out of baseball for like a
year back in twenty ten, came back for your Mets

Bartolo Cologne. Players that have found the fount of youth
that they've adjusted their game, Like you said, it could
be a guy that you're like, wow, he had one
or two off years. You know, at the very end,
I know this is a stretch, so this isn't a

great example, but it was cool to see Poolholso to
end on a high note like he had. He had
a great final season because he had become a shell
of what he was and then remember the home run derby.
He made it to like the finals and it's like, Yo,
Albert found his stroke enough to end on a on
a pretty reputable note.

You're thinking hard, aren't you. No, I had one and
then it's slipped my mind, but I wanted to go
to the phones anyway. I think it's a It's a
great approach for Russell Wilson, though, is it? Is it true?

He could feel that way now? So I'm not saying
he's lying about it because he's probably excited. He's got
a new haircut, he got rid of the uh rid

probably feeling all of this. I'm not denying that, but
we don't see if it's true until the games start.

Andy Ruiz or you know a guy that for for
you know, most fans thought he's sort of done and
then he all of a sudden, He's like, no, not
so fast, I got some gas in the tank. I think, yeah,

there's there's so many examples of that, but I want

on Fox, A lot of people are calling up about this,
about the second wind as second chance at proven everybody

because I'm an East Coast guy. Originally I grew up
on Long Island, so you could say totally jaded. But

Billy Joel's song he put out this year really is
a song that could have been in with like seventies
and eighties old school Billy Joel spot I feel like
you agree with me? That turn the lights back on.
Billy Joel's song this year wasn't some cheesy ah we

think it was a good song, like he found it
in him with his co writer to make one more

good pop song. I think Travolta is a good answer
to you know, speaking of actors, not now, not recently,
but people counted him out before Quentin Tarantino put him
back in pulp fiction. He did a lick uluk Who's
talk stuff, but he really got his second win and
reinvented him again. It's all about reinventing yourself too. Yeah,

with that with Don Johnson, remember Don Johnson was cool again.
Quentin Tarantino is known for taking guys like that that
he counted out. I think his next project was Luke Perry.
Before he passed away, he did include him in some projects.
But again it's it's that if I'm not mistaken. Bartolo
Cologne was a great example of reinventing what he did

all this junk and reinvented his game. You have to
be able to reinvent yourself too in a lot of ways,
and I think that's what Travalta did. We saw him
in a different light and it was a a great
comeback for the guy when people counted him out.

I think now monetarily on a tour in sync is
more valuable than Justin. So I got one for you, bro,

oid bands, kind of you think anyone thought Ricky Martin
would be anything after Menudo and he comes out with

it in Denver, but maybe it just wasn't a good fit.

a great final season because he had become a shell

an MLB hitter. The question was, if you played one

many hits do you think you could get? And Parsons
had no problem saying that he could have a two

hundred batting average, which equates to about eight hundred and
ten hits out of those one hundred and sixty two
or no, I'm sorry, one hundred and sixty two would
we get he could average? He's saying he could average
one for five and one for five. Impossible. Guys like

I think the story's major because he's so dopey to
