You miss anything, and uh hey, We're gonna get to
a bunch of stuff today on the show. It's the
uh HOWK Tour Rage of twenty twenty four.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
We gonna get to that.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
I hope you had a howk to a sort of summer.
I hope you had a.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Nice first weekend of the summer.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
What's a nice feeling when and usually experience this on
vacation more so than at home when you're a kid
at home, But when you look in the mirror after
a shower.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
And you're like, oh, I got a little color, I
got some ten.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
I got a little got that got a little glow
because they got that glow you like Bruce.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Lee Roy when you step out of the show.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
But uh yeah, I'm sure a lot of people, much
like me, spent the weekend just chilling by the pool
with the kids. My kids are at the stage now
where I can't take my eyes off of them yet
because they don't they're not strong swimmers, so it just
NonStop like holding a kid.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Well, why don't you let them borrow your swimmyes.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
And just like nonstan Rich where swimmy just a NonStop dad, look, Dad,
look dad, And I know I miss it one day,
but they're in that mode of like every little jump,
I have to be like, yo, that.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Hey, that's a great jum buddy again.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
But it was one of those weekends, man, not only
a hot full summer, but just a hot ass weekend
where you had to enjoy your pool time, your beach time,
whatever it is. We hope you enjoyed it. I hope
you had a an Angel Reese sort of weekend. She
came through with the big win over the weekend Angel
Indiana Fever. What I noticed as a sports fan is
(02:41):
I'm way too win fall. I was so into that game.
I couldn't believe it. I had it like, I'm like,
is this real life? Do I really care this much?
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah? I can't get into it. I don't know. I
just did.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
You were so wrong about Rich was saying that no
one would care in a few weeks, said a few months.
I'm still sticking to it a few months, and I'll
tell you what I said this to you in real life.
But if you really want to get the conversation going
at the barber shop or at the gym, just bring
up the WNBA. People start talking, man, People got opinions
(03:13):
on this stuff. So hope you had Angel Reese weekend.
You know, I think it's like, I think the WNBA
is having a great moment. I think forever the sport
will be more popular moving forward. But to think you'll
keep this forever hype of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese
every changing.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
The game, changing the game every couple of years.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
We think that's going to be the case with soccer,
and we think that's going to be the case with
some alternate football league, whether it be the XFL, USFL,
now the UFL. Like we keep thinking it'll pick up,
and I just think that while they're doing a fine job,
I think the WNBA breaking all types of records, it's great,
But I really I think it will sizzle and it'll
(03:54):
simmer down a little.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Like when Messi came to Miami and then he had
his first game here in LA. Remember we went went
to see the game.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Soccer. Oh, we're gonna go see LAFC every week. This
is awesome.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah, Caminos, like, dude, we'll come back. Did you go back?
Tell me you went back? We know, man, I'm still
tune it in to see what Caitlin Clark did, what
Angel Rees did. I'm still tuning in and these games
are good. So this guy is soccer game was like.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
And I'm like, dude, yeah, that was an experience though
at a big soccer event. This is a rivalry. So
as long as both players keep playing really well, the
rivalry can continue.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
The rivalry and the drama is bringing us in and
then they're putting a good game for it, and you're
starting to realize that, Wow, there's some great games and
some good skilled players here. This is kind of cool.
By the way, I'm not a hateful dunce. That's like
I'm rooting against women's sports. I hope it works out.
I just think that we're we're very much loving the
moment and if it sticks, it sticks. And I was wrong,
(04:53):
and I hope I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong for
the betterment of women's sports. But that was going down
this weekend and tonight, man, we're gonna talk about how
legends could be made tonight. So NHL Stanley Cup, every
hockey fan loves to throw in your face. Oh nothing
better than a game seven A, especially in the in
the the final. So a bunch of Canadians super pumped.
They always say the two best words in sports is
(05:14):
game seven. But now I'm thinking it's hawktua. I'm not
sure you know Bryce Harper with a stand up double.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Oh I'm sorry, did you say hockey?
Speaker 5 (05:22):
No?
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I said haktua, That's what I said.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I hope you had a hok Yeah, so Bryce Harper
stand up double. He does mannerisms of the old hawktua
viral rage. And then if you're watching any golf over
the weekend, of course, you know, after a guy hits
a nice sweet stroke off the tea, people cheer, people cheer,
take a listen.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Like it's the new Babba booey it is. I like
it better. It's really sweeping the nation. Guys.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
It's really incredible. Never seen anything like it. And you know,
I was talking to Mike who runs his place. Mike, Yeah,
the bright yellow shirt on today, miss them, Savannah Banana fan.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I thought he was a week called cokein today, it's not.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
He's the new Savannah banana mascot. Uh, Mike R Place,
And we could call Mikey Bananas from Allen's Mikey Bananas.
He said he hasn't seen anything like this since. And
I'm like, oh, interesting, because I don't know if anyone
has ever won the Internet, beaten the Internet, broke the Internet,
the way finished the Internet.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
There are times I think he has.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
And he said catch me outside, girl, I'm like, you
know what, that's a pretty good one.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
I was out big, but I think this is bigger.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
I was gonna say, this is the the hawk to
a girl. You know, God bless her, and I think
if she wanted to go the smut route, she can
make millions. Yeah, but again, there's more to it, more
than meets the eyes, not just the content. It's the
feeling of she's a guy's girl and she's showing a
sense of humor, which is refreshing to a lot of people.
(06:56):
I think that's the the thing that's putting it over
the edge. I think on a mainstream level. Now, if
you were to ask me, Danny, I want you to
think about it, Ryan, who's running the show today?
Speaker 1 (07:08):
What's that? Ryan? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I know you guys are classy dudes, so you might
be like hawk to. I'm not involving myself in that conversation. However,
if you were to think about what viral trend on
TikTok Instagram that you couldn't you couldn't scroll one or
two scrolls without saying, I think Hawk to a Girl
is the biggest thing since uh would the black dude
on the end of the bed naked during COVID where
(07:32):
every link you clicked on bigger? Because that was too inside. No,
because I think it was definitely bigger. Though yeah, I
mean bigger, but I don't think.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
The moment's bigger than Yeah, I get what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
I don't know if you combine the two trends. I'm kidding,
you have to go back to the early days of
internet to even compare it. Like you have to go like, yeah,
dancing baby, or like when we didn't have a lot
of options kid, No, that Star Wars guy, or like
you have to go early on to even compare.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Talk to the biggest thing since Charlie bit me.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Maybe because we're so oversaturated with things that that the
fact that it's infiltrated mainstream media. Like Rich already said
he wasn't kidding, Let's make it clear. Bryce Harper did
this in celebration at a Major League baseball game this weekend.
People are teeing off and people are screaming. Bry Cindy Chambeau.
You just heard that clip. You're hearing it at golf tournaments,
(08:27):
You're hearing it everywhere. You're seeing it every scroll. Rich said,
you scrolled ten different scrolls and every clip was this girl.
I'm not sure we've seen anything like it ever since.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
What this wasn't as fun at all. But I remember
scrolling through all of my platforms and you couldn't go
anywhere without seeing a stupid ice bucket challenge.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
But he raised money. There was a positive spin.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Today allegedly it raised money. Yeah, you're right about that, Danny.
That was really big at one point, what's up Dan Bayer?
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Bigger than backing up Terry? I love that tur but that.
Speaker 6 (09:00):
Season back it up Terrytunately, I actually think that this
is more pigeonhole than you guys think. I know you
guys think that it crossed over in the mainstream, but
it is. There is a bunch of audiences that do
not know what this means.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
You know, here's my gauge.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Though my mom is seventy years old. If it's got
to my mom, then I'm thinking there's something to it.
And even she said something about like she said it
all wrong. She's like, yeah, that stupid girl. She said
something like whacked.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
She said it's something weird, but whack two week. Yeah,
whack two week girl. If my mom knows it, I
think that's a pretty decent gauge. But you're right, Dan Byer.
Everybody has an algorithm. I don't know, Dan Bayer might
be onto something. I'll tell you why, because sometimes I
test these things out because we're in our bubble, right,
but we keep our ear of the streets on this
(09:49):
dumb stuff more because we do a show, right Like
I often wonder how much dumb social media stuff would
I know if we weren't doing a radio shown a
podcast every day.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Maybe not as much.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
But the guys I play softball with over the weekend,
they range in age from thirty something to like fifty something.
Usually I said it, and there were a bunch of
guys that were like a hawk tooy. They knew it,
but I put a I put a joke about the
hawk Towey girl in a high school friend text message
red with a bunch of forty what I.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Say too, we two wee hock too. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
I did it in a thread with a bunch of
high school friends. A lot of and women were on
the thread, and I don't think everyone was getting the joke.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Well there you go.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Then maybe Dan Buyer is right eight seven seven ninety
nine on Fox, and I gotta keep it real for
one minute. It's not all fun and laughs. You know,
as a girl dad, I hope it doesn't reach to
younger kids, and unfortunately, I think it will because all
these expectations become the norm in their life, and that's weird.
I'm like, look, just because you see it in porn
(10:52):
or some viral girls saying it doesn't mean that this
needs to be the reality. And I guarantee you all
these young kids know this joke and know this reference now,
which makes me sad for them and I don't want
my kid to know that stuff. But I do think
they'll cause maybe some little arguments with couples this weekend
(11:12):
because they were jokes about it, and it's like the
guy may have gave a little side eye, like hey,
it's been a long time since. Yeah, there's a lot
of guys wondering like, hey, wait a second, hold on
what you mean? Everybody's what But again, Bryce Harper, that's
the celebration, and like we said, you're hearing it in golf,
You're hearing a lot of references to it.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
So well, tonight we'll decide hard to avoid Tonight, we'll.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Decide if we hear one reference or see a sign
in the crowd at the NHL Stanley Cup Finals Game seven.
If there's a reference tonight, it's official. She's more popular
than the Oilers girl. So, hey, hopefully you had that
type of weekend. Yeah, exactly, she had a Travis Kelcey
type of weekend, because we're going to talk about a
guy who's probably living the weirdest life of anyone you
(12:01):
know of when you think about where it started and
where it is now. Travis Kelcey, I would say, because
he's so relatable and seems like such a guy's guy,
a bro's bro, a dude's dude. Yeah, you make a
good point, like he just seems like such a regular
guy who does cool things that his life has taken
(12:25):
a crazy turn. There's levels of fame that even celebrities
aren't ready for. I saw Ben Affleck the other day
talk about in fact, I saw two stories, one in sports,
one in the movie world. Ben Affleck said, the most
he'll get some guy being like, yoh, Ben.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Uh a big fitty movies bro.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Well, dude, I loved you know Goodwill Hunting gives him
a fist bump.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
Cool.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
He talked about what it's like to go in public
with Jennifer Lopez and he's like, what I get versus
what she gets isn't even in the same ballpark arena,
not even close. And you know, Paul Skean's of the
Pirates said that Livvy Dunn, his social media superstar girlfriend
from LSU, is guiding him on how to handle the
(13:11):
thing because he's like, I'm a major league baseball pitcher.
I'm not getting the fame that she is used to
from being like the hot gymnast that everyone knows.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Well.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Ben Affleck is a movie star and a big time
movie star in his own right, an Academy Award winner,
So a bigger movie star than j Lo. Is it
a man woman thing? The attention to woman garners, Yes,
like Jennifer.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
That's funny. Yeah, a beautiful woman will get way more
attention than just the no.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
But I'm saying Ben Affleck is no stranger to poparazzi.
So is it just the type of attention that j
Loo herself Garners to use the word again.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
And you know, like I said, skeens In, Livvy, Dunn,
Ben and j Low, the highest level that is Travis
Kelcey who said, I'm Pro Bowl, Super Bowl winning player.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
I Taylor Swift's fame, but I understand that and that
just here. He's just famous here in America.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
She's internationally, but he's famous here like catching passes from
Patrick Mahomes. And you know a lot of Americans don't
if they don't like football, they wouldn't even know his name.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
So when he said he started dating Taylor Swift, that
was the thing that caught him off guard the most.
Like he thought he was sort of popular wherever he was.
It was like, dude, Travis Kelcey, pandemonium wherever Taylor Swift goes.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
And it's weird.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
You could argue that it's like what are we doing?
But over the weekend he was overseas visiting his girlfriend
Taylor Swift at one of her shows, and I wanted
to ask you, what is the weirdest thing you think
Travis Kelcey encountered this past weekend. We have several things
that he encountered let's go one for one, let's break
(14:55):
him down. We'll let you decide. You make the call.
Fox Sports Radio Nation. Put yourself in his size sixteen shoes.
Is Yorkshire putting on the list? No it's not, but
you could edit. But what is the weirdest thing that
went down in the weekend? The Wild Weekend of Travis Kelcey.
And by the way, if you do want to chime
in with talk to a Girl's the biggest rage since Blank,
(15:18):
we're taking your feedback on that too.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
So my answer is, would the black guy at the
end of the bed I got a good one, Rebecca Black.
It's fight.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
He's bigger than both of those combined. I've a chance. Yes,
not everybody knows Wood.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
So you know what, get the phone calls going at eight, seven, seven,
nine nine on Fox. But the Wild Weekend of Travis
kelce I'll start with this one. Do you think a
year ago, when he was just Travis Kelcey stood tight
end before Taylor Swift, do you think he thought he'd
be wearing a tuxedo tap dancing in front of ninety
(15:56):
thousand people at Wembley. Yes, she brought him out on
stage and he had this whole little routine, like he
performed a little skit with her, which was nice. It
was yeah, supportive, dandy. Do you think I would have
done it? Do you think Travis Kelcey ever thought he'd
be tap dancing in a tuxedo in front of ninety
thousand people.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Not in a million years.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
He went from chasing Kelsey or was that was his
his dancing show to that.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
That is insane when you think about the mamothity of
the event and the moment. So, yeah, that's pretty interesting.
Doing a whole, full on tap dance routine. That's pretty
wild in front of ninety thousand screaming, crazy fans acting
out a skit at Taylor Shift's concert.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
How about this one?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Because I don't think you're going to bring it up
because they're in London at Wembley in front of ninety
thousand people. The Foo Fighters were also in London this
weekend and we saw something a little off color. Dave
Grohl went at Taylor Swift live insinuating that they don't
play live music at Taylor Swift shows. So there was
(17:00):
a little bit of a beef there, so much so
that Taylor Swift addressed it live and said, this is
my band and we do play live. You think that
Travis Kelcey in his life ever thought he'd be defending
or consoling Taylor Swift from Dave Grohl's smack Talk.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
The answer is probably no. Al Right, I got one.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Do you think Travis Kelcey ever thought he'd be in
a VIP section high fiving and hugging Tom Cruise while
pop music played in the background.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
That's the winner. It has to be the winner. That's
the winner. That's the winner.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
That's the winner.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
I was saving that for last.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Do you think he ever thought he'd have to move
to a different house in a gated community and shut
off his mail from being received?
Speaker 1 (17:46):
I mean, the Cruise still weirder, all right.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Then again, there's always the possibility of meeting a high
profile celebrity like Tom Cruise at a super Bowl or
something like that. I guess that's always a possibility. But
they were really buddy chick me over the weekend. But
what about Do you think Travis Kelcey ever thought he'd
be taking selfies with Prince William and his family? Yeah,
the royal family. That's pretty big man. That's probably the
(18:11):
real answer. But the Tom Cruise answer is my personal answer.
So that all happened this weekend for Travis Kelcey. Think
about that. Now, we all make exceptions for the people
we love. This guy really has to deal with a lot.
I'm not saying it's bad stuff, but it's overwhelming right
to deal with somebody like that takes a special guy
(18:31):
props to him, Like it comes with a lot, and
you can say, that's all awesome stuff. Hanging with the Prince,
hanging with Tom Cruise, from growth, from the history of
the Kelsey's fame, him and his brother from college until
now where they were you know, notable guys. Oh they
made it to the NFL. Everyone they've ever surrounded themselves
(18:54):
with is probably more in awe of them, right, Like
it's a Kelsey's is probably a little switch or roof
for him too, right because what what situations would Travis
Kelcey ever find himself in where he's the lesser the
lesser or not? But you know what I mean, Yeah,
like where the hype is about someone else. Like if
(19:16):
you're a superstar, handsome athlete, you're usually not playing second fiddle.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
To who you're with or your buddies.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
That's remember like when Jose with Maybe Travis feels comfortable
in that role though, I mean, he's not the most
popular guy on the Chiefs Patrick mahomes is on the Chiefs.
He wasn't the most popular guy in his family because
he was the little brother to Jason his whole life.
So maybe that's a role he's comfortable in.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
But he had a crazy You think you had a
wild weekend because you were doing cannonballs in your pool. No,
Travis Kelsey was tap dancing in front of ninety thousand
people in a tuxedo, hanging with Tom Cruise, taking selfies
with Prince William and defending I mean, girlfriend's honored to
Dave Grohl Rich did a pretty mean can opener, but
(20:04):
nothing compared, I think compares to Travis Telsey to the
two step he did on the stage. By the way,
I give him the most credit for that, because it
takes a set of we wolves to do that. I
would never have done that a whole, full on routine.
That's pretty wid You would have done it. Nah, No way,
Then you're not cut out. No, if you're dating tailor shows,
people wouldn't be if you're dating if you're dating Taylor Swift,
(20:26):
and she says, you know we're selling love. Come on
stage for a minute and act out this little skit
with me. The crowd goes nuts. You can no, no,
can do Yeah. I couldn't do that him. Yeah, exactly,
That's why he's the guy. So it's a two part
doozy guys. She's devastated by the way that you're not
the most viral? Is this the most viral clip we've
(20:48):
ever seen? This girl that sweeping the nation from Tennessee.
And what's the craziest of the Kelsey Weekend. Well, we'll
take your feedback next at eight, seven, seven, nine nine
on Fox. We got more. Next Cavino and Rich having
fun here on Fox Sports Radio. Now, whether you're headed
to campus to see some college baseball, meet up with
old friends, or show off the alma mater to your kids,
(21:10):
spring is prime time in college towns.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
And if you're planning a trip two words.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Can you guess the two where its are?
Speaker 1 (21:18):
Graduate hotels? Yes?
Speaker 2 (21:20):
Oh yeah, graduate hotels. There's no better place to stay.
We were in Nashville. My goodness, I want to go back.
Had such a great time. We partied. You know what
it's like the Graduate Hotels. Like you know, when you
find a restaurant you're liking, like, well, I not go
back ooh, but I want to check out the others. Yeah.
(21:40):
Then we have karaoke in Nashville. We had a great time.
Then we went to Eugene, Oregon. It was a blast.
Everyone was so nice. We had so much fun. Then
we went to Tempe, Arizona. And you remember that hotel.
It was an old Howard Johnson's that they redid Ultimate. Yeah,

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Hey, what's up everybody?
Speaker 8 (22:44):
It's me three time pro bowler LeVar Arrington and I
couldn't be more excited to announce a podcast called Up
on Game?
Speaker 1 (22:52):
What is Up on Game?
Speaker 8 (22:53):
You add along with my fellow pro bowler TJ. Huschman
Zada and Super Bowl champion Yup, that's right, Plexico Burus.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
You can only name a show with that type of
talent on it.
Speaker 8 (23:04):

With teachable moments.
Speaker 8 (23:11):
Listen to Up on Game with me, Lebar Arrington, TJ.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Houshman's Ouda, and Plexico.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
Burrs on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you
get your podcast from.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Thanks for hanging with Covino and Rich.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Welcome back live from the tyrack dot com studios. Steve Covino,
Rich Davis, Danny g Super producing, Danny What Up?
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Danny G? Ryan's here?
Speaker 2 (23:41):
Of course, Spotty's on the videos at Covino and Rich
Dan Byers, got your updates, Elijah hanging out It's the
premiere sports lineup in the nation.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Happy to be a part of it, reading the wall.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Hope you had a great, great first weekend of the summer.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
I hope you stayed cool.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
You know, there was a kid in my junior high
yearbook rich that said see you next year and stay cool,
and uh yeah, great.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Advice, stay cool, stay cool, steak.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
I've been trying because he told me, TOLDI back in
ninety one.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
But anyway, happy to be here.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
I hope you had a great weekend and we're super
pumped for Game seven tonight. We'll be talking about that
because if the Oilers win, does that make the Oiler
girl a legend? No? Does that make Connor McDavid an
instant instant legend?
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Is he instant hall of fame in everything? Yeah? Is
he just the guy that we all know.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
We're not saying he's Wayne Gretzky by any means, but
is he like instant legend if they win tonight? Because
even us as casual hockey fans, exaggeration, that's an exaggeration.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
You gotta be tuning in on a Game seven, right yea?
Speaker 2 (24:55):
So if he pulls this off and everyone's there to
watch to see if they could do the impot possible?
Does that make him legend? Will explain plus your boy
Edwin Diaz in the news quick question. The last thing
I'll say about the Yeah, you're obsessed. By the way
you're obsessed. I just obsessed. Every day Rich has Google
(25:15):
alerts just to see if she ends up in an
only fans or something. I just saw a clip of
remember Mortal Kombat. Yeah, it was a Mortal Kombat video
game scene and it goes and all of a sudden,
hawk to a girl pops him.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
It's out of control. Everywhere I saw a.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Guy singing Hallelujah but changing the words to hair too.
So anyway, what would be more shocking to you if
that phrase and that girl is brought up tonight game
seven of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, or if she's
brought up Thursday night during the presidential debate.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
What would be more surprised?
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Like debate, look at his running If that comes up
during the big a girl, this country is really in
a bad way. It's one thing to come up on
our stupid show here when we're having fun on Fox
Sports Radio, but another to come up on Thursday night.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
If that does, then she's the biggest thing that ever happened.
That guy's sleeping over there. He doesn't even know how
to a girl.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
He doesn't even know, he doesn't know, he doesn't know.
It's not impossibly, right, It's not impossible, And that's the problem.
That's the problem. So again we answered, or we're asking
a two part question that we also answered the weirdest
thing that happened to Travis Kelsey, because even though he
(26:37):
does really cool things on a high level, he seems
to be like a regular fella, a frat boyd who's
just better at sports than bigger and better than us
at sports. And now he's with the most popular woman
in the world. So we ask you, based on his weekend,
what's the craziest thing he did? And then because it
was the Hawk Tua Summer Girl weekend, we said, is
(27:02):
there anyone ever as viral as she has been in
the past seventy two hours?
Speaker 3 (27:08):
By the way, Travis has definitely seen the video and
he's definitely shown Taylor, so she's seen it.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Well, that's the crazy part, like everyone has seen everyone
has seen it, dude, And and Dan Byer insinuated that
we could be prisoners of the moment and that's also
that's also an interesting question in itself, like is the
algorithm that strong where you know, all of us were
all like minded idiots for the most part, we all
think it's the biggest thing going, but not everybody knows.
(27:35):
I'm under the impression like Rich's neighbor Frank is like, hey, Rich,
how's it going, hawktoy am I right, I'm assuming everybody.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Knows Hawk Tua got this kind of attention like fifteen
years ago, like or twenty years ago, in the age
of Numan Numakid who you loved and still do love.
Then yes, it would be like one of the biggest sensations.
The news cycle is so quick, that's true. I mean,
viral cycle is so quick, a spotty.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
You're saying she'll be gone in a week, So you
are you saying biggest thing since chocolate Reae?
Speaker 1 (28:07):
That was huge? Huge? That was huge. It's right up there.
It's I think it's top three all time, at least.
Prisoner of the moment.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
I would say that maybe not everybody's in on it,
like they didn't see the original video, but they've seen
the words now because even on Facebook, I've seen older
people like asking questions about it, and you know what
I mean.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Like they've seen it.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
They maybe if they don't know what it is, they've
still seen it.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
It's it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
It's a phenomenon to see how one could be an
overnight success. And someone brought up this point too. It's
interesting to even wonder, like maybe that clip is old.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
I doubt that it is, but maybe that was like
years ago. We don't even know, and it just blew up.
Who knows, I have no idea. Well, but it became
this big thing over these keyboard cat bigger than that,
bigger than bigger than that, bigger than the zombie Jonathan,
bigger than apparently.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Boy, how about Girl's that's more of a meme. Yeah,
it's a meme, But I say, bigger than that? Do
you think bigger than I? Like turtles? Apparently? Yeah, apparently
he was on a TV show judging other kids. Dude,
they haven't even seen this girl was a regular. This girl.
I agree with Elijah, who does the videos? Here? Where where.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
At the beginning stages of this, because we don't know
where it's gonna end up, she's probably meeting with agents
to see, well, where's the big interview what's the big.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Play call her Daddy's a big interview. The rumor is
she got fired from her job and that was not true.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
And then the other some other like good looking blonde
girls are coming out on social media like it's not me,
like they're the proven. Rebecca Black is on a list spot.
You mentioned her. I'm trying to think of most viral
videos ever.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Every Friday, everyone's like, gotta get down on Friday. It
was big. That was big. It was big. So we
answered the question.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
I think it's one of the biggest, at least top
three that we've seen since viral became a thing on
the Internet. And as far as Kelsey, the dude was
hanging with the Royal family because they were in London
with Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
He defended her from Dave Grohl.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
He tap danced and did a whole routine from of
ninety thousand people at Wembley, and he also hung out
with Tom Cruise, who seems to be the most hyper
odd fella ever passion. I think that is the craziest thing.
Tom Cruise is my personal answer. So we're going to
your feedback eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox just
(30:34):
based on all the craziness that went on this weekend.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Trevor in Vermont will go to you. What's up? Bud
could be known Rich? Hey, how you guys doingddy? What's up?
Speaker 9 (30:44):
I was calling about the the super Meme Hawks Tuo. Yeah,
I'm I'm kind of a super nerd. Like I worked
from home and I spent a lot of time like
scrolling through my phone waiting for like customers or whatever.
I I've never seen anything like virally travel this fast before.
Like it's pretty wild. H It's I mean, it's also
(31:08):
you can see why it's catching on too, because I mean,
like I forget which one of you had mentioning it earlier.
But it's kind of like, even though it's like an
adult thing, it's still kind of wholesome.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Like she's well because she's yes, Yeah, it's like the
perfect storm. It's like lightning in a bottle because it's
a little perverted, but at the same time, she's showing
playful lot of playful personality, which subconsciously and even consciously
guys do like.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
And it's refreshing a little bit.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Yeah, and uh, and Trevor is a professional scroller you heard. Yeah,
it sits around you know, scrolling.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
We're doing the bull scroll as we speak. Thank you, Trevor,
thank you. Let's move on. We got other stuff to
get to.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
If any show is gonna talk about it, it's gotta
be our show. Wait, Doug Gottlieb didn't spend the hour
on this now because again it has infiltrated mainstream sports.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
So it does make you think, like, dang, how big
is this? Talk about JJ reddick so much? Let's go
to Damn Byer? What's up? dB? I did? I just
went for my music, that's all. Yeah, that's all it was.
I'm sorry, I'm a little slow with the xylophones today.
Speaker 6 (32:12):
Ane, That's all right, h talk to and wholesome No way,
there's no way. It's not you're trying to sell this. Yeah, No,
she's playingful. No, it's it's it's a wholesome bit. There's
nothing wholesome about it. There's nothing, not even close. And
that's why Bryce Harper is doing it. Because he knows
that there are people that don't know about it. He
(32:33):
can get away with it, and if anybody were to
call him on it, that means they would also know
about it, which makes them guilty.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Can I tell you about it, But the knowledge is
the guilt. Can give you a quick example.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
I know you're doing your update, but when we worked
at Serious XM, former adult star who's very sweet, very cool,
Lisa Ann. We all know the name Lisa and she
does sports stuff. Right when she would go around Serial
XM the hallway and all the bosses would be like,
I know who you are.
Speaker 1 (33:02):
I know who you are. Is the admission right there
that you've seen her?
Speaker 10 (33:07):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Sure? Otherwise you'd be like Lisa and I'm unaware of you.
She's in your search.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
She ever heard of her? She ever heard of her?
Speaker 6 (33:13):
She hung out here for a while as well, doing
some radio stuff back in the day, but you never
heard of her. No, there'd be eight editors in that
studio during commercial break wanting fantasy advice exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
just a sudden everybody's right, should I start? Derek Carr?
(33:34):
It was embarrassing. It was the worst, all right, A
lot to get to. I'll make it quick, you guys said.
Game seven, Stanley Cup Final tonight, Oilers and Panthers, eight
o'clock Eastern time. Hopefully it's a great game. Stanley Cup
on the line. Oiler's trying to become the first team
since nineteen forty two to come back from a three
to zero deficit in the Stanley Cup final and win
the Cup. Hopefully it's as good as the Croatia Italy
(33:56):
match that went down to the final seconds. Italy needed
a win or a tie against Croatia to advance to
the round of sixteen.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
You saw it on Fox.
Speaker 6 (34:05):
They trailed one nil late in stoppage time against Croatia.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
They know, well, this could mean Calafiori he Tho making
it round and forward, so.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Sixational how does he rescue them?
Speaker 5 (34:19):
Right now?
Speaker 6 (34:20):
Italy pulled even and yes it was just in the
final seconds of their match. So the Italians move on
with that one to one draw with Croatia. Spain topped
Albania today one nail, but Spain was already onto the
knockout stage. Italians and Spaniards advance at Euro twenty twenty
four forty nine ers rich Or meeting with Brandon Ayuk.
That's according to ESPN, so maybe the sides can mend
(34:43):
some fences and finally, guys, JJ Reddick introduces the Lakers
head coach today and asked about the team's pursuing of
Dan Hurley. While Reddick's name was also in the coaching conversation.
Speaker 10 (34:54):
At no point was my ego or feelings hurt or
bruise in any way. Dan Hurley is a two time
national champion at Yukon. I am a two time fifty
five Swiss League champion in the third and fourth grade division.
Speaker 6 (35:11):
Like I understood, So JJ Reddick clearing it up today. Yeah,
no hard feelings whatsoever. He's officially the twenty ninth head
coach in Lakers history.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Back to you, guys, that's Anest's birthday today. Yeah, he
turns forty today.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Happy forty. He's a man. He's forty, happy forty with JJ.
You think they got him a hawked to a cake?
Do you think that's what they did? Since it's I mean,
it's wholesome, right, that'd be good wholesome in comparison to
the other smut that we see.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
You blow up the candles, you don't spit them mountain, Yeah,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
dB Uh.

your name later today. Okay, so stick around. We got
prizes for you on the CNR show. Let me hit
you up with a couple of fun facts if you
want to be if you're stuck in an awkward conversation
in an elevator or having weird small talk with a
parent at like baseball practice, Hey, Frank, what's up on
(37:40):
this day? Let me hear up with a couple of
sports on this day. In nineteen twenty two, the Chicago
Bears got their name. Do you know what they were
called before the Chicago Bears? Before they were Dumb Bears,
They were an NFL club.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Call what the Chicago football team, the.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
Chicago Staley's you don't even know. Don't be asking us
when you don't even know. Trebek beat it.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
I didn't. I didn't know something from nineteen twenty two.
I know the answer because I got the question in
front of me.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
But Staley Stas never heard of it, and uh ever
heard of him? All right, well, then you know what.
I'm not even gonna give you the answer to this one.
I know Lane Staley.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
I'll leave this one. I don't know the Chicago Stanley. Okay,
else and chains boy, tell me another one, all right?
On this day? Yeah, in nineteen.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
Seventy nine, Great Smashing Pumpkins song nineteen seventy nine. A
Hall of Fame baseball player who is known for something
specific did this feat.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
For the first time. Hall of Fame baseball player.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
Hall of Fame baseball player who's known for one thing,
clearly the most dominant in one arena of baseball, one area.
He did this for the first time on this day. Yeah,
that's so vague. Can you give me another hint?
Speaker 1 (39:01):
Yeah, it's an offensive player.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
It's impossible. That's so impossible. Shot up, No offensive player. Yeah,
who's known for was known for one thing more dominant
than anyone else. So he's hitting home runs, and he
did something for the first time today, blipped his bat.
Nineteen seventy nine. Seventy nine made his major league debut,
but today was the day he did this for the
first time. And he's known for doing this better than
(39:24):
anyone else. Ever, so vague and tough seventy nine home
run hitter did something. I'm kidding, I didn't say home
run hitter stole a bait. Ricky Henderson, Dann Bayer, That's
where I was gonna go. Where Cavino just went Henderson.
I thought maybe it was Henderson like stealing a base
or something.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
He stole his first base on this day. I felt,
you're five, Dan Bayer, I'm a Cavino guy.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Yeah, on this day, forty five years ago, Ricky Henderson
stole his first base.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
You know what the keyword was there?
Speaker 2 (39:57):
He was so dominant in one thing, right, So immediately, yeah,
you're thinking.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
But you're you're thinking home runs. Yeah damn.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
But then of course, yeah, Ricky, I'm sorry, the Ricky,
the Ricky Henderson.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
What was that great Ricky? I'm gonna butcher it. What
was that great?
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Ricky Henderson's story. I'll find it. Hold on, Ricky Henderson,
why you do that? Yeah, I looked it up. Chicago.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
They started out as the Decatur Staley's and then they
turned into the Chicago Bears. They it was after A. E. Staley,
who I guess he He was the owner of a
manufacturing company.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
It says, Rich, are you thinking about the John three sixteen? S? Yes,
I found it right here. Someone once quoted John three
sixteen to Ricky Henderson and he said, Ricky, don't want
to hear about that. S John hitting three sixteen, Ricky
hitting three thirty.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
Good line. I don't know if that's real.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
But the legend right, Oh, it's like that legend that
Mokie Wilson had a quote about dinosaurs or something. Yeah,
there's all these dumb things you said when the legend
becomes fact print, the legends about John three sixteen Ricky
hitting three thirty. Speaking of legends, though, Rich right, Game seven,
the two big swords in sports talk to it in
game seven, Game seven tonight, I'm tuning in, and as
(41:12):
the joke goes, Rich and I, our knowledge of hockey
really ended at brainstem. Now mine was two medium guys,
one fat guy one skinny guy in Nintendo Ice Hockey.
I was an air hockey champion growing up. I'm a
not hockey champion. I love that Dome Arcade Hockey too.
What was the name of that? Is there an official
name to the Dome Arcade Hockey?
Speaker 1 (41:33):
Growing up?
Speaker 2 (41:33):
I love that game. In fact, if I ever have
a man cave, I want one of those bad boys.
That's my buddy five grand Hey, they're bubble.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Hockey, yo.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
I love bubble hockey, but when it comes to actual hockey,
eh eh. And we grew up on the East Coast
with some great teams. But Game seven you can't ignore,
you can't deny. So I'm super pumped about that, guys.
So it's a big chance for hockey to reel us
all in. But does Connor David become a legend if
he wins tonight? Instant legend. We'll get to that. And
(42:06):
there's a story that has to do with one of
my dudes, Edwin Diaz. And I'm curious, is Edwin Diaz
looked at differently by you? Now we'll open that up.
We got more covinon Rich next, It's Monday, Let's do it.
Fox Sports Radio
