Speaker 2 (00:17):
By surging FSR, Lindor gets under one to Sutterfield Harris
going by.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Again Francisco, Lindor flips.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
The script with a two run homes and five age
to seven. Who oh boy, that was great man.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Everything was great in Lindor with the big moment. What
a great, big time player. And if it wasn't for Otani,
he'd beat the MVP for what he meant to the Mets.
I have a thought on that most guys like him
come to the Mets especially and stink it up, and
he did the exact opposite, you know, not to make
it all about the Mets, but we've talked about how
very few times you could think of a guy that
(01:10):
came to your team and was best, yeah, as a
guy in your team, Like I can't think of a
guy that came to the Mets and those were his
best years, possibly other than Lindor. Now the final call
of the game. I bring this up only because Cavino
and I've joked about how broadcasters have one in their pocket.
What am I going to say if it's a no hitter?
(01:30):
What am I going to say if it's a perfect game?
Speaker 4 (01:32):
Yo? If this is a monumental moment, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
That when Otani went fifty to fifty, Joe Davis had
that call in his back pocket, right, Gary Cohen had
a call on his back pocket. Because if you remember,
the Mets started the season zero to five, and it
was miserable, and everyone's like, man, this team stinks. They were,
you know, double digit games under five hundred, and then
you remember the Iglesias, Oh my god, got them all
(02:01):
hyped up and Grimace. Listen to the final call from
Gary Cohen.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
Two two ground ball, Glendor waits on it, He's got it.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
The ball game is over from all and five to OMG,
what a ride the Mets are going to the postseason
in twenty twenty four. You could tell he had one
incredible game to clinch with down three nothing, up six
to three, down seven six, Lindor with.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
A home run to put him over the top.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
And she has stretched to the necks to close it
out and the Mets winning eight to seven.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yeah, you could tell he had a plan, but it
still gave me chills as a non Mets fan, you know. So,
I'm just trying to make it clear. It was a great,
great win for them, and I'm curious to see what
happens in this second game of the doubleheader. The second
game that well, actually your Mets. Some of your Mets
were complaining about the schedule. I saw Jadie Martinez hypainting
about it. I mean it's you know, no one wants
(03:00):
to hear. No one wants to hear for everybody else.
People complain, but it is a tight schedule. Here's my thoughts.
I have two things. Then we're gonna We're gonna get
to a lot of football today. We are just fresh
off of one of the top I would say, a
top five baseball game over the last twenty years in
a long time. It was a nail bier. I was
rooting for you on your behalf. I love the back
and forth. You know, I have a problem with you, though.
Before you tell us your thoughts.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
Think of David Freeze.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah, I think I'm just trying to think of like
over the last twenty years in the two thousands. It's
subjective because you know, if your team did something stellar,
that's not this resonate. I'm talking about games with significance
that went back and forth. I'm thinking Cardinals have had
some of those moments. Cardinals definitely. You know, it has
to be a moment where it was back and forth
(03:42):
and a team came out on top. It can't just
be like, oh, it's my team, they won. This was
a game that was a battle the eighth and ninth
any We're insane.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
A battle of significance.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I thank you with your David right, Jersey On, David Wrong,
Rich Davis David Wrong.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
I feel like you, oh.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Your met's a public apology because if we go back
to the videotape, oh yeah, nobody who had quit this
team remember what I said one time, man, one time,
they gave it to you, They gave you what you wanted.
You owe them a little bit of I'm sorry, thank
you for a great season. All you want them to
do is represent they're in the playoffs now, man, it's anybody. Actually,
I'd be really scared of teams like the Mets and
(04:20):
the Tigers, teams like that. They're hungry, they got great momentum.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
I'd be fearful of them.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
I think you're in a great position, and that's all
you need was to get to this point. Anything can happen. Well,
if you remember, if they represent well Man, you should
be proud that they made it as far this week
when they were trailing in the wildcard. If you remember,
I said, this scenario has to happen this weekend or
I'm officially out.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
And that scenario.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Happened, and I pulled myself back in, and hey, great game.
I quit them two layers and then again, rest of
the show gonna be a ton of NFL. Danny Jude,
you're allowed to be excited about it. Danny's fresh back
from Vegas. He went to the Raiders game yesterday. We'll
talk about the Ravens last night against the Bills. We'll
talk about the Niners fine tuning what they got going on.
The Chiefs pull out a win out here in LA.
(05:01):
We get to a lot of NFL in a little bit.
But two baseball questions. By no means does this put
Otani's MVP in question? But here's my thought. Otani by
far and judge two best players in baseball? What do
you then call a guy like Lindor that the team
would be nothing without him? My definition? No, no, no,
(05:24):
But I'm saying, like, is there like clearly Otanian judge
best players, no debate, no debate. Every year, it's like
he was the most valuable player to the team. Otani's
just the best player. Otanian judge best players in the game.
But if you take Francisco Lindor off the Mets, I
don't know if they're five hundred.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
Yeah, he's great man, So like is that he's a
great men?
Speaker 1 (05:47):
By definition MVP, but you should not win the MVP.
It almost has to be like a separate category in
your own mind, like who's so significant significant to their packs?
Speaker 5 (05:58):
Well?
Speaker 6 (05:58):
Yeah, honestly, though, Rich watching nine out of ten Dodger
games this season, and it's a long season, the Dodgers
would not be where they are at right now without OTAWNI. Oh,
I'm just sayings oars value because Betts was out for
a couple months, Freeman was out for the health of
his child, and he was slumping after that, and so
(06:20):
without Otani being that glue and that MVP, the Dodgers
would not be the number one seed right now, there's
no chance I do.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
See what you're saying. But Danny g makes a good point.
Plus Otani's circus numbers, his numbers are just ridiculous.
Speaker 7 (06:34):
Sometimes you there's a lot of great people at the
same time. I'm sure if you look back through history,
there were people that were like, well, great, but there
was just someone that was just a little bit more great.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
But look at the NBA, look at the at the
NBA spot how many superstars did Michael Jordan prevent exactly
from winning? Barkley Sewing, Malone, Ewing, Reggie Miller.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
Sometimes there's just someone better. That's the case.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
And I think with Lindor, if show Hail Toddy didn't exist,
than doors your every police.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
But think about it in politics. I've said this before, not.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Just if Mary Lopez wasn't just slaying it as a
whole guy, I'd be the guy would be the host.
Has more gigs than I should have than anybody. Take
him out of the equation. I'm one of the coolest
guys going. I dances with his daughter on TikTok. Right,
you get it outside your inside, he'd be doing ever.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
You'd see me free sided every fight.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
I said recently that you could see that in the
world of politics, not to get political when you have
a vice presidential debate tomorrow night. I think four losing
presidential candidates would have won this election. Al Gore, John Kerry,
John McCain, Mitt Romney. All four of those losers would
have beat I think Trump, per Kamala, I really do so.
(07:51):
Spot makes a great point. Sometimes it's not how great
you are, it's you know, someone else being great. We
talk about it when you get drunk or act the
fool at an event. As long as you're not the
most drunk fool, people will forget you might have been
drunk at your holiday Christmas party. But if some guy
made an ass of himself, people forget that you had
won too many.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
There's always that one dude in your way though. That's
what it really comes down to, that one dude.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
But and O Tany's that one dude for Lindor this year,
before we get to that one dude for a lot
of people, before we get to all the things that
made you go In the NFL baseball tomorrow starts the
wild card. Teams like the Dodgers and Yankees get to
tune up and get ready for next weekend. Here's my question.
You never want to throw a game. I also think
(08:34):
it's illegal to throw a game. You can't just be like,
we're gonna lose. But the Mets right now they throw
their spots starter. Luke CAZy has pronounced Luke CAZy. By
the way, Monci, I heard you say, Luke is he here?
Luke Cheese?
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Mets Radio Network? Was it matter? I was Sam? Did
you cut her off? Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Oh no, she's taping for one of our I thought
she was gonna say the Mets Radio Network set it that.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
Yeah, the timing of that, yeah, I thought the same exactly.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
But but I that was they had a they have
a spot starter and lou Casey CAZy, I said, if
the Mets been pronounced if you grew up a in Jersey,
you guys going to high school a little kazy.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
I bet it's actually pronounced lou Casey.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Pronounced CAZy fresh one today, if the Mets lose game
two of this double header, If they lose game two,
they go to Milwaukee. Now, I know the Mets just
lost two out of three against the Braves, but just
actually pronounced Melia walk. If you're going to be mister uh,
(09:45):
mister grammar police.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Actually it's pronounced told you. Yeah, thank you if you're
gonna be all correct.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
So if the Mets, which is alone the good Land,
the good Land.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
If the Mets lose, they go to the Brewers. Now
the Brewers are a fast, great ball club. But if
you're the Mets, don't you think you'd rather go to
Milwaukee than go three thousand miles to San Diego to
play the hot red hot Padres. I completely agree with you,
and I agree with Rich it's fat. I mean, listener
in the world, did you want to take on the Padres,
(10:22):
who I think is a bigger threat to your Mets.
The Padres almost caught the Dodgers. Yeah, and again take
that long ass flight. Like you said, you want to
lose this game to play the Brewers, But I don't
know how you do that, and they got a lot
of starters in this game.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
How do you pales not pitches?
Speaker 1 (10:36):
I was, I say, how do you purposely lose a
game without It's like you know in the NFL when
you're trying to go to getting Oh the ball dropped
in braves up one nothing? I perfect as we speak. Yeah,
bloop bas set to left field from Orshella. Is that
your boy Gio Orshella?
Speaker 8 (10:52):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Former Yankee? Yeah, so, Danny g.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
You've seen in the NFL when guys are trying to
remember like tank for Tua, remember that was the thing.
When you're trying to get a top pick. There's always
those times where the bad team loses in the final
week and you're like.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
Why would you do that?
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Because you can't convince a bunch of pros to lose
on purpose. But you don't think the Mets are like, y'all,
let's not win this one.
Speaker 6 (11:13):
There was a lot of speculation before the doublehead the
doubleheader started today because who did I see this morning?
I saw your boy Greeny Rich say, do the managers
like talk to each other beforehand and kind of do
like a gentleman's agreement?
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Sam Patrick investigated this. He put on his John Stossel mustache.
Dan Patrick investigated that if could there be a gentleman's agreement,
could the Mets and Braves have quote forfeited one game
each and not even played today? Apparently they couldn't do that.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
Yeah, Baseball won alat.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Baseball wouldn't allow that. But with the Mets in and
the Mets really have more incentive. I'm being serious, to
lose this game, take the quick flight to Milwaukee, force
the Braves to go all the way to San Diego
and face the hot Padres. To me, I guess thelast
thing he could do is start a spot starter, rest
some of your starters, because no one's gonna not play.
(12:06):
But yeah, you're not going to expect them to throw
the game. Some people may be thinking, well, they're pro athletes.
They probably think, hey man, whether it's the Padres or
the Brewers, we're going there to win. And that is
partially the mentality. But I even heard one of my greats,
Paul O'Neill, who came to the Yankees and excelled. Yea
(12:27):
Paul O'Neill. He was like, hey man, I played with
the Yankees for years, and I'll tell you I'll be
the first guy to admit I would love if Randy
Johnson was not pitching for the series we played against
them or whatever. You do think about those things, of course,
you know, so you do think about, well, what's the
better matchup, who you want to face, who you don't
want to face, The path, human nature, the path in
(12:49):
the National League.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
So the Mets got to want to face the Brewers.
I would imagine the.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Path in the National League would be for the Mets,
no joke, Brewers, Phillies who or Padres Dodgers. Ooh, lose this,
lose this game. Stop saying yeah, because we're gonna talk football. Absolutely,
But don't sleep on the excitement, which is the base
Seas season, because you know this is when you really
(13:13):
of course you know these teams, you've watched them throughout
the year, but this is when you're really zone in
on these characters and see who steps up. And this
gets real exciting right now. So appreciate it. Everything you
just said about the potential path. It's like it's not
easy either way. Yeah, and rich are you ready? Am
(13:33):
I ready?
Speaker 4 (13:34):
Let's go? Things that make you go, things that make
you goal. It makes me go. We're in week four already? Yeah?
She slow.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Let me tell you, yesterday was a rap in a
week four. Yesterday was a relaxing day in my house.
I didn't have company of her and my daughter was
playing at her friend's house for a change, so I
had the TV. All the TV's going Sunday ticket. It
was a day to watch the NFL football first thing
that made me go, let's get out of the way,
because it's the most obvious one.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
Sam Donald gee status, bro unbelievable, he is MVP.
Speaker 8 (14:15):
You know.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
It makes you, uh, it does make you think that,
you know, how much of sports, especially the National Football
League is system and circumstance. Because you can't tell me,
move on, don't undermine, go undermine no, like never giving
up on yourself. Because I'm sure Sam Donald had this
inner belief that that was wavered at one point, probably,
(14:37):
but still kept on believing. No, I'm good enough. I
am that guy. You know, you got to give him
a little credit too. And then it makes you wonder
when he was sitting behind brock perty last year. Yeah,
had something happened to Brock, you may you may have
seen this guy with the Niners and we'd be talking about.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Man, should should the forty nineers have kept Sam Donald?
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Like Sam Donald is showing that the guy at us see,
the guy we all thought was going to be a composed,
great quarterback in the NFL.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
It just took a couple more years than we thought.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Yeah, I mean, and that's understandable. No, to to grow
some composure in the NFL might take a few years,
and good for him man again for never giving up
on himself as well. Like I said, I want to
give him some of the credit, but you also mentioned
Brock Party. He makes me go because where are all
the naysayers even approaching the season. So many people doubting
(15:30):
this guy, doubting this guy and you heard about it
all the time, right, Oh, we don't know about Rock
Party and he's shutting everybody up this season, and no
one's there to really take accountability for everybody doubting that guy,
Rock How it props to him? Rock Party has had
his I think he's playing his best football right now,
and he's looking quick in the pocket, looking crispy on
(15:51):
He's crispity crunchity. Props to Brock Party man, he's looking good.
And I only bring that up because you brought him up.
But so many people took like a little bit of
a pride at shabbing at the dude and shooting him
down like he wasn't the real deal. Danny, would you
agree that that narrative is slowly fading that people people
are like, yeah, brock Purty is good.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
I haven't heard anything.
Speaker 6 (16:11):
Used to be a regular thing you'd see on FS
one scrolling underneath the screen all.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Now now it's you know, FS one, ESPN, radio, TV, anywhere.
I think the narrative that Rock Party's a system guy
is like you see him scrambling, You see him. Everybody
forgot that. They were saying everybody has amnesia in sports.
It's like, oh, you forgot you guys were saying about
Rock Party for like the past two years. Well, Rock
Party to me looks like a pretty good NFL quarterback.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
And he is.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
He's showing more of his Uh you know how Brock
played in college where he was not a game manager,
where brockwould use his legs, use his mobility down with
the quickness his accuracy. Brock Party, forty nine ers fan
should be very happy with what you're seeing from him.
And you got de Bo back. He wasn't one hundred
per saying he's just athletic enough. He's no Lamar Jackson
yet there, but what he's doing is productive. Oh so
(17:00):
I got something that'll make you go hmm. Last night,
Buffalo sort of you know, take an little step back.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
They're three and one.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
You can't say this shame in losing to Baltimore in
Baltimore on a Sunday night. But Derrick Henry, for a
guy of his size, they clocked him like running over
twenty miles an hour when the secondary couldn't catch Derrick Henry.
Were you a little shocked? Like, yo, he's got he
turns on the Jets here that size. Speaking of the Jets,
(17:31):
Oh my god. Speaking of accountability, you gotta focus on
the positives. It seemed like Aaron Rodgers took a lot
of accountability. But that team is due to diapers, man.
That's how I feel about the Jets. Yeah, as I said,
and I still believe it. There's certain teams that are
just I don't know, it takes that extra push. It
takes a lind'or you know, to really be that leader
(17:53):
for your Mets or your Mets are gonna met. I
don't know if if Aaron Rodgers the guy to make
the Jets, not Jet.
Speaker 4 (18:01):
I can score. But you know what, I will say.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
One observation, and this is where we're okay being all
over the place hit us up eight, seven to seven,
nine to nine on Foxure observations from Week four of
the National Football League, Danny seeing your Raiders pull out
a nice win, in Vegas.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
That was awesome.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
We're happy for you, Danny J because you were there
and seeing the Broncos win a garbage game against the Jets.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
But a win is a win.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Nonetheless, it made you realize that some of the teams
you thought might be bad aren't that bad, and the
good teams aren't that good. Where I feel like the
NFL is very balanced right now. Yeah, the Chiefs look
like they're the Chiefs. They look like the defending champions.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
But they're barely winning.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
You look at the NFC East where people were like, oh,
it's a Cowboys or Eagles division, because that's what it
seems like it's been over the last handful of years.
I've been wrong on a lot this year. One thing
I was not wrong on. Jaden Daniels and the Washington
command look damn good. Everyone looks good. No one really
(19:07):
looks great. Who looks great to you?
Speaker 4 (19:11):
Sam Donald? Yeah? Sam Donald?
Speaker 8 (19:13):
That's it?
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Yeah, Sam Donald?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
And the Chief's ability justin Jefferson, And would you say,
but if Seattle has like a huge game tonight.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
Against you never know exactly.
Speaker 6 (19:26):
Did you see the ball that Jefferson snatched yesterday looked
like an optical illusion. It feels like a magician man.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
There were I mean, he's just so good and I
love him even more from watching Receiver on Netflix. Would
you say that it's not so much the Chiefs are
and the Chiefs had a bad injury yesterday. Rice is
down and who knows is there any update on that.
Speaker 9 (19:46):
No, they're doing more tests today. The latest that Andy
Retel reporters is they're doing more tests, but he's out indefinitely.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
They're just not saying the officials.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
It seems like the Chiefs are good, but it's more
bad out Mahomes finding a way to win. They're not
blowing teams out, they're not beating teams badly. They he's experienced,
you know, that's just that's putting him over the edge,
his pure composure and winning attitude teams. What a tackle
by Mahomes too, Oh yeah, that was rough man. His
(20:16):
head gotten away there. So your observations Week four doesn't
have to be in the NFL. Could be anything you
witnessed in all of the sports or life whatever. It
could be like that, if he liked that UFC fighter
twirking over her opponent after she knocked her.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
Out, I mean, if it made you go homeless.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Let's chop it up eight seven to seven ninety nine
on Fox at Covino and Rich.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
How about this? This made me say, hmm, tom Brady's.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Petty response to Baker Mayfield, and then Baker Mayfield has
a big game, and then Tom Brady's real nice to
him at the end of the game. So it went
like full circle. But it was kind of interesting to
me to see Tom Brady's competitive juices in the pregame
with their old pal Kevin Burkhard If you missed it,
(21:04):
it started with Baker Mayfield talking about how he's different
from Tom Brady.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
Take a listen to Baker. The building was a little
bit different with Tom in there. Obviously, playing wise, Tom
was different.
Speaker 10 (21:16):
He had everybody dialed in high strung environments, so I
think everybody was pretty stressed out. So they wanted me
to come in be myself, you know, bring the joy
back to football a little bit for guys that weren't
having as much fun.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
So Tom Brady couldn't let that go. And you know,
Tom Brady came prepared this week with props and note
cards and stories and response to that take a listen
said quote.
Speaker 5 (21:38):
They wanted me to come in, be myself, bring the
joy back to football for guys.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
That weren't having as much fun.
Speaker 5 (21:43):
It's funny because you've made this environ room for me
very stressful up here in the booth.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
So I understand where he's coming from. Do you Field,
I really stress?
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Well?
Speaker 11 (21:50):
I was gonna say I thought stressful was not having
Super Bowl rings. So there was a mindset of a
champion that I took him work every day. This wasn't daycare.
If I wanted to have fun, I was gonna go
to Disneyland with my kids.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Wow. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
So you know as you were saying go ahead, that's
you feel like, I feel like there's more in there
to say.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
There's a way to approach this game.
Speaker 11 (22:16):
Yeah, and it's that with the with the right mindset
and try to push each other outside of our comfort
zone and great teammates do that.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
You come in.
Speaker 11 (22:23):
I have someone like Gronkowska, I have someone like Evans.
There's high expectations for us. We got to make sure
we go out there and deliver.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
The competitive juice is still flowing still in there. Yeah
you think no apologies? Man. Tom Ready came across a
little bit as a jerk, I thought, so.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I didn't think Baker Mayfield said anything that was off
the wall Michael Jackson style. He was just being honest,
like he had here. He's a different vibe. He's a
different type of quarterback. I know spie and I know bitterness.
There was a little bit of both in there.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
Like Tom Brady.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
By the way, do you know what was the most
passive aggressive thing he said too, I come in with
the mindset of a champion, has to say if I
want to have fun to Disneyland, there's a lot going
on there.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Ouch. He just felt like he yeah, he just felt, hey.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Rich, be quiet. You gotta have the mindset of a chance.
No Baker Baker then responded to that, Right.
Speaker 8 (23:17):
A lot of that got taken out of context, and
none of it was personal by any means. It's just, uh,
you know what he demanded of the guys, and that's
that's the aura of Tom Brady and that's what he
did to bring a championship here, and so nothing personal.
But yeah, talking before the game, he's obviously happy for
me and he knows the guys, so he knows how
(23:37):
much I enjoyed throwing to Mike and Chris because he
got to do the same and so it's fun to
be able to, you know, talk about the same experiences
with the guy like that.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Things that make you go home.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
The growth of Baker Mayfield, dude, I think he's handling
everything the right way, even his fun responses. He was asked,
you know, how do you deal with the hot weather
in a game like this? And he made a joke
about he changed his pants a halftime, gave Aaron Andrews
a little I gave her a laugh, gave everybody laugh.
I feel like he handled that Tom Brady situation perfectly.
You're seeing great leadership. I thought, if anything, it made
(24:08):
Tom Brady look a little uh it's the word petty.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Petty, no, but a little uh like defensive and.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
He was real defensive on that And after the game
he was or appeared to be happy for Baker Mayfield
who had a game. But it did make me say, hmm, look,
it's very just how he even said like so this
seat of a champion, like, I don't know, it's a
little it's a little week of TB twelve. And I'm
a big fan of Tom but again he was I
(24:38):
thought he was pretty prepared and and I was gonna
say stellar, but I wouldn't say stelly yet. But I
didn't hear any criticisms about him in the booth this week. Well,
you know what, all your observations people on hold will
get to your phone calls, Danny G's on standby while
Monci gives you an.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
Update soft like that, you think you think Tom have it.
Speaker 9 (25:03):
I just don't think anything was said wrong on either side.
I think Baker Mayfield said what he said, and then
Tom Brady said what he said.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Tom Brady's like if Tom Brady was said like you
can have funnel, but if you want to be a
winner like me, but he is, Well, what Baker Mayfield
said didn't warrant any of that, because it seemed very
understandable from the listener and fan perspective, like, oh okay,
tom Brady's real intense, Baker Mayfield's more of a fun
atmosphere kind of guy.
Speaker 4 (25:32):
It just seems like there's a big age gap with
the way that they are. And so I heard this story,
I was like, I don't think either of that was
just his response because he's a champion.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
I heard Tom Brady used to go uphill both ways
to football practice that's what I heard you.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
Okay, let's go.
Speaker 5 (25:49):

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Dude, if you're a sports fan, you're in I feel
like your mam would say, you're in your high heavens.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Is that phrase? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
You're stink to high Heaven? You stink to Oh you're
if you're in high Heaven, you're like a pig. And yeah,
like seventh Heaven is like, yeah, you're like on cloud nine.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
How about that?
Speaker 1 (26:56):
So not only are we going over all the great
observations from we for the NFL. You had arguably one
of the best baseball games in the last decade. Happened
earlier today.
Speaker 7 (27:06):
Better than O Tani hitting three home runs and breaking
a record in one game.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Well, that was an individual achievement. This was for a
postseason spot, especially for that's much more significance. And now
the Braves have to win now. So wild Cart starts tomorrow,
a doubleheader tonight in NFL for Monday Night football.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
It is the sick time to be a sports fan.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
And then you're thinking football, baseball, basketball, Karl Anthony Towns.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
To the Knicks. Wow, yeah, but then not to be
that guy. But rest in peace to Kenby Matumbo.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Yeah, who passed away at fifty eight, soinbow today, Yeah,
fifty eight years old. Rest in peace to Kembay. But
to show that women's sports are continuing to grow. Did
you see that this is official?
Speaker 10 (27:52):
Now?
Speaker 1 (27:52):
You thought it was all about Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. Nah,
when you're arguing with Spike Lee, that means a w
NBA has arrived. Did you see Spike Lee and Kelsey
Plumber getting into it? He so like Spike Lee is
Now it's a no win for Spike Lee. But but
it's it's great to see the w NBA playoffs are
surviving without the young marquee names. So just a great
(28:16):
time to be a sportsman now. Things that made you
go hmm. I mentioned that I thought it was cool
that Aaron Rodgers took accountability and spoke about accountability. Yeah right,
he's saying, hey, some of these players on his team,
on his line should take accountability. But did you see
(28:36):
that Alan Lazard play where he got the flag for
disorderly conduct or whatever? He did a little shooting. McGavin,
Did you see that, Danny g anyone else see there?
Speaker 4 (28:45):
He did? He doesn't? Yeah, I saw that. They do
a flag on it, and then you see the reps
like re enacting and they're like what did he do?
He did?
Speaker 6 (28:55):
And I didn't understand was it too violent? I thought
maybe he cursed or said something he said.
Speaker 4 (29:01):
They're like, what, really, he did a shootout? That's all
he did?
Speaker 8 (29:05):
Wait?
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Is a shooter?
Speaker 1 (29:07):
McGavin considered like a yes, violent unless again, unless there
was something said. He sort of tosses the ball up.
He's sort of proud about the play. Me this does
it a poll?
Speaker 9 (29:18):
I think if you do any gesture that resembles a
gun or shooting.
Speaker 4 (29:23):
I thought, but I also do the rifle. Yeah, Elmer, I.
Speaker 9 (29:30):
Think really, that's what it's coming down to, and he's
probably gonna get fined.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Isn't a discretion though? Can't we all be like, yo,
he just did a little shooter like shooting, that's what
I mean. Like I thought it was if it was
more of a you're antagonizing the other team, like bad sportsmanship.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
That was like a playful nothing a golf swing first,
oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Yeah, But I thought it was also if it's in
the direction of the team, and it was, and then
he just did it and celebrate. It was so like
such a nothing. Bird would say, what if he put
his thought come down and just did a point? But yeah,
there there you go. Just yeah, And I guess you're
(30:07):
sitting the president to be fair, you set a president.
But it made me say, hmmm, yeah, I gets you know,
made me go, hm, I agree with you.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
Kevino.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Now, I was talking to Bow in the editing room,
who's doing a fantastic job. As always, Bow is a
Caleb Williams fan, and I said, what's your thoughts on Caleb?
Because each week. Each week they're making progress in Chicago.
You could see Caleb getting better and the fact that
they're two and two is giving them a little more
leeway where no one's really getting in on them that much.
We'll talk Caleb Williams a little more, and all the
(30:37):
other things that made you go hmm. Shoot up Week
four of the NFL. We'll talk some more baseball playoffs
and a bunch right here having fun on a Monday.
Thanks for hanging Covin on Rich on Fox Sports Radio, Boom,
shoot up, shoot up. Now we're wrapping up things that
(30:59):
made you go hmmm, week four of the nfls we
get ready for the double dooozy tonight.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
What stood out?
Speaker 1 (31:05):
It doesn't have to be about football, but obviously a
lot of the weekend had to do with the NFL.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
But what else stood out to you? What made you
say hmm?
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Now I already mentioned Brady's reaction to Baker Mayfield, right,
I felt or sensed, I mean, I like the competitive
edge that Brady brings, but I did sense a little defensiveness.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
But did you see how he brought in note cards?
Speaker 1 (31:29):
I mentioned it, Yes, he brought note cards in Kevin
a little index cards to Kevin Burkhart as like props,
little show and tell of you know, when he decided
to play for Tampa Bay, he had a little list
of pros and cons, which I think is cool and
it's cool to see that.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
Tom Brady really did this. These are the actual.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Index cards that he used to write down. Here are
the pros of playing for Tampa which helped him made
that decision. And he said, and it was breaking news
that he was almost considering the Chicago Bears, Like it
was a serious push for Tom Brady in Chicago.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
I had the same pro and conless when I was
choosing between you and Mario Lopez.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Oh yeah, yeah, no, seriously, I think it's a great
way to approach life, you know, have you go over
your pros and cons. But I thought that was interesting
because it makes you think it might be a discussion
in itself. Rich Like I was almost considering blank before radio,
I was almost considering being a fireman.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
I was ready to give it up. You just wanted
to be in the calendar.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
I just wanted to be in the calendar. I was
a lot more sexy back then. I wanted to wear
just suspenders, not even the pants. Just suspenders and the hat.
But I was this close to saying, you know what,
my radio days, I didn't catch my full break until
I was about twenty seven, and you know, if I
really wanted to bring home the bacon and move forward
(32:47):
in my life, I was like, you know what, I'm
gonna do this fireman thing. It's steady, it's it's stable,
it's respectable. And I was this close to take the test.
And that's when I got to talk radio option with
Rich in two thousand and four. So I think we
all have that, you know. I was almost considering Tom
Brady moment that people would be surprised to hear. You know,
(33:09):
you'd have to mess up your hair every time you
put that help right now.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
You know.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
That was part of the reason I was like, you
know what, let me stick it out with radio a
little longer. But it made me say, hmm, Tom Brady
as a Chicago bear, I was saying, while, what would you.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Be doing if you aren't involved in broadcasting, in radio
and producing?
Speaker 13 (33:25):
Oh, probably still doing the old organic farming gig that
I did back in Iowa.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
You know what I mean? You have it in you
to be a farmer. Huh.
Speaker 13 (33:32):
Yeah, I, me and my mom and our family ran
a business for about eight years.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
So wow.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
But we have an old boss that we worked with
at serious XM. I thought it was a joke at first.
He was a radio broadcaster and program director for years
and years and years. I saw him on Facebook years
later after you got let go and they did some
budget changes, and he's running a pig farm. I thought
his first post was a joke, like, man, look at
this guy. Oh my god, he's successfully running a pig
(34:00):
because you know, that's something that he was passionate about,
I guess early on, and now he grew up. So hey,
tom Brady. Based on that, Tom Brady could have been
a Chicago Bear, but he obviously won with the Buccaneers.
And it does make you think, well, where was I considering?
What was I almost professionally, had I chosen a different path,
(34:24):
I do want to point out, and it had the
by the way, he had the index card to prove it.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
And here is where I was going over my pros
and con.
Speaker 13 (34:31):
Steve picking radio over being a firefighter A lot less
smoke inhalation.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
I'll just say that no, no, for.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Sure, And by the way, I would have been no
worse fireman. Yeah, like, I'm not brave enough for that.
I'm just not in the mourning mill.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
You serious, I'm not cut out for that, you know.
I'm just this is not me. You mean I got
to put a helmet on my head? Yeah, no way,
you see this quuff?
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Yeah, So it was just I was looking for something
steady rich. I got you, Monsie, what if you want
doing this? What do you if you didn't have aspirations
are broadcasting?
Speaker 4 (35:04):
What do you think you'd want to do?
Speaker 1 (35:05):
What were you almost considering? Do you think like, oh,
maybe I'll get into this other industry.
Speaker 9 (35:10):
I thought maybe I would go into law because I
like to argue, So I did. I did take some
like communication law classes in college.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Well, by the way, for the record, we're all staying
because I feel like Doug had this conversation six months
ago when he was like, yeah, I think.
Speaker 4 (35:25):
I want to be a coach. Jay, Still, what do
you want to be? And yeah, I just said I
do you remember hearing that? So I was like, we're
all staying here.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
I'm just I'm just throwing it out there because Tom
Brady and the Index Cards, I am, in.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
Fact a division one Men's had basketball coach. He coach.
I mean I remember that coach.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
That was when Ramos was still here, because I remember
him saying, Hey, Ramos, Jay still, what would you guys
really want to do?
Speaker 4 (35:52):
And he was like, you know, think about coaching. And
I guarantee that's when he was first dating. Do you
think he was already he was already?
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Is Rich breaks the news that he's the next game
show host, he's the next host of Nard Sharks, because
I feel like Rich is I feel like Rich is
cut from a game show host cloth.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
You would be a good game show host. Everybody, welcome, Hollywood.
It's real. It's true though.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
Covino and I have this vendetta that if Seacrest and
Mario Lopez didn't host everything, we'd have extra gigs.
Speaker 9 (36:22):
Oh I see dress up as them for Halloween.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
Oh we've done. We've done Zach and Slater before and
it's fantastic.
Speaker 6 (36:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Yeah, we're the poor man Zach and Slater. So hey,
Fox Sports Radio Nation. Based on that, and you could
chime into on social media at Covino and Rich based
on Tom Brady, you were almost considering what it's a
good question, think about it because he could have been
a bear more things that made you go from Week
four of the NFL. I'm never a told you so
type of guy. But are the Saints coming back to reality?
(36:50):
They lost a close one they you know, that was
a field a fifty plus yard field goal for the
win for Atlanta. But now the Saints next two weeks
they got to play the Chiefs and then the Bucks.
So you could go from two to zero, scoring forty
points to back to life, back to reality. You're still
(37:10):
Derek Carr, You're still the Saints. So is that is
that a little story over or No? I don't think so. No, No,
I don't think it's over. I don't think it's quite
over yet. But it's starting to even out a little bit.
Two and two now they had a strong star. It's
not like they were stinking like ab Lincoln. Like you said,
it took a what was it a fifty something yardfield goal?
What's the what's the future here? If we're going to
(37:31):
jump all over the place? Which is what's fun about?
Things that made you go? H Jacksonville's owned four. A
couple of years ago, they were a playoff team with
Trevor Lawrence. Last year they were six and two and
if you remember, they went six and two into the
game against the forty nine ers. Forty nine has whooped
them and they have stunk since the end of last year.
And now you're not going to move on from Trevor Lawrence.
(37:52):
But Doug Peterson said he's not scared about his job security.
I would be afire him. What's what's the story there
is Jacksonville just back to the drawing board. They just
seem broken to me.
Speaker 9 (38:05):
Yeah, they just you know, like I hate sums off
and I don't know if it's in the club clubhouse. Sorry,
I'm watching, Yeah, but I'm watching baseball front of me,
and I don't know. There seems I feel like they're broken,
And I don't know what you do at this point.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
There's there's something about Trevor Lawrence where when someone comes
with so much hype and they under deliver, you keep
thinking like, oh, they'll get it together. They this guy's
supposed to be a generational guy.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
What if it just never happens.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Yeah, I mean we've talked about this before. This is
no knock on Trevor Lawrence. But wasn't it you that
said you you saw a great piece on Trevor Lawrence
about how he's one of those guys where there's more
to life than football, you know, and that sounds familiar.
I remember hearing that, Like he doesn't said it or
we discussed it. Either way, He's not a Tom Brady
live and breathe only football type of guy like Trevor Lawrence.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
At from your quarterback right, you'll kind of want that,
do you guys know?
Speaker 9 (38:59):
The five quarterbacks selected with his draft, let's hear him,
Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Mac Jones.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
Justin Fields is the only one that seems like he's
having a good week, a good year. You know they lost,
but still there, man. You know what Monci I was
doing the researching on the Allen Lazard's juggling disorderly contact
call shooting, and I have a thought on that too,
because Big Michael runs his place backed up. He says,
(39:31):
there's a no tolerance anytime you do anything gun related
in the NFL.
Speaker 4 (39:35):
You're going to get that.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
Okay, fair right, and you're setting a presiden's But you
realize when the referees were discussing what had happened, they
did it with more aggression than he did on the field,
So okay, it's no tolerance, right, But these these guys
are having a shootout the ok Corral discussing what happened.
Speaker 4 (39:53):
They should get fined by the NFL. There it was,
and it was visually more noticeable than what he had done.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
So I thought that was so hypocritical in the moment,
I'm like, all right, fair enough, it's likeston. Why did
they do it like eight times? It's like when your
kids repeat you cursing and you're like, you can't do that, dude.
If you look back at that, and it went viral
because the refs were doing it, but if you look
back at that, they did it with more authority and
more more viggor than he did. I wasn't watching that
(40:20):
game as close as other games that were on in
that time window. That took them from inside the red zone.
They got the first down, but it backed them up
fifteen yards in a game where the Jets didn't get
the ball in the end zone.
Speaker 4 (40:34):
That it's a silly little shoot up. Yeah, might have
cost the Jets a game at this juncture of the season.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
Yeah, Aaron Rodgers did not look happy about anything, but
it was a fun week of football and it continues tonight.
And like Rich said to start off the show, what
a great time for baseball and postseason and what big
game's going on right now and football tonight. So hope
you enjoyed your weekend. Did we get our teams one?
(41:01):
Did we get a one week tease a couple of
weeks back where we thought, ooh, the Cardinals and they're
just trash? Or is Washington good? You think we got
the tee? Is Jaden Daniels and the Commanders and that
whole team coached?
Speaker 4 (41:14):
Well? Yeah, I mean you're just starting to jell, are
they or jelling like Magellan?
Speaker 1 (41:18):
It makes you almost think that one week where it
was like ooh, Marvin Harrison Junior, Kyler Murray. For a minute,
you were like, did they got something? And they that
was like one week.
Speaker 9 (41:28):
Yeah, it seems like they are the real deal.
Speaker 4 (41:30):
Your favorite Baar Naked Lady saw.
Speaker 9 (41:32):
Yeah, week Marvin Harrison Junior is the real deal. Maybe
maybe even though you can't buy his jersey.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
But you know, two ships passing in the night.
Speaker 13 (41:40):
You know, you have the Commanders who are ascending and
the Cardinals who are likely yeah, descending. Remember the Cardinals
had had a lead, I don't remember if it's a
big one, but a lead on the Bills in week one.
Then they fluttered that away. Let me let me give
you one more.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Quickie and then we'll move on because I know we're
going to play last one standing. We got a lot
of stuff to get to. But as a forty nine
Ers fan, they won thirty thirteen, you would say convincing win.
Brock Purty look good. It was nice to see the team,
you know, getting their health back. They make a lot
of mistakes for a good team. They got to clean
it up, as they say, their penalties, like just there's
(42:16):
mistakes and Niners are making where if they play Chiefs,
if they played a better team, they lose because you
saw it happen with the Rams where they took their
foot off the neck of their opponent. The quote unquote
teams that are supposed to be great are very vulnerable
right now. Yes, they unless they make some changes. There
was a juncture of that game where it was twenty
ten forty nine Ers. It was a ten point game
and it should have been a thirty point game. The
(42:36):
Niners couldn't, like just couldn't put that nail on the coffin.
They let teams hang around. Kyle Shanahan love him as
a coach, but what's the problem You've seen in two
Super Bowls. You saw it in the Super Bowl when
he was an offensive coordinator for the Falcons. He lets
teams hang around and they lose those They lose the
end of the game based on they just like they're
(42:59):
not playing with any urgency in the second half. Can
I give you a personal thing that made me go hmm?
It was a personal sports related sort of thought. I
was trying to be funkle Steve, fun uncle Steve this weekend,
and I try to go to as many as my
nephew's little league games as I possibly can. He's uh,
he's my also my god son, if that matters. Any
(43:20):
of the single moms, check you out any hot moms
at the little field? No, unfortunately, that's only one mom
at the soccer field. And she has those yoga pants
with the crease and the butcher like the John crease
is called for those like the yoga pants that have
a the butt crack.
Speaker 4 (43:36):
Actually is you know what I'm saying? They called TikTok pants.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
Oh yeah, they're called the yachts aren't they called the
Cravassiers of the Cravasier. No, I'm not there for that, honestly,
So I don't. I'm like rolling out of bed reluctantly,
going just to be supportive. Good uncle Steve, good uncle,
funcle Steve. I dip like in the second inning, because
I'm like, football's on, right, that's that's excusable, right, Like,
(44:04):
you're just going here to show support. You'll scream his
name a few times.
Speaker 4 (44:07):
Let's go, James, boy, uncle Steve's here. Let him here.
You're showing face at a party. That's how I could second.
I mean, at least wait for the third day you
got in the bat. I'm like, all right, football's on.
I gotta go.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
Oh you're gonna tell the what you told me? Oh shit, Yeah,
this is the weakest thing I've ever heard in my life.
So I go there, not my life, but top ten.
I go there real quick for that one at bat. Okay,
just at one at bat, and he's taking I'm like, good.
Speaker 4 (44:35):
Eye, James, Yeah, uncle Steve's here, just so you know.
But I'm leaving in like five minutes.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
Football's on Sunday, buddy, all rid right, anyway, all right,
good eye James strike ah, good eye. Hey, hey, that's
not your way for your pitch, James, e boy, see
you right too? All right, Hey, don't worry about it.
Speaker 4 (44:54):
Hey, why is he not swinging? I don't know? My sister's.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
Strike th and not only was I there to see him, like,
some of his friends were there and the friend's parents
were there to see him. Strikes out looking right, and
then my sister starts getting all like making excuses for him.
She's like, he probably didn't swing because last week, you know,
he was swinging at everything. We told him you just
can't swing at everything. Now he's not swinging. My sister
left to get up pretzel in shame, right, and I'm like,
(45:20):
don't worry, James, going get him next time. The dopey
coach comes out. Dopey coach wearing crocs comes out, and
he's like, I just want to let you know. He's
talking to my brother in law, my nephew's father. I
told him not to swing because we wanted this kid
who was dominating to surpass the pitch limit of forty pitches.
He goes, I was hoping that he walked or whatever,
(45:40):
but I'm sorry I told him I'd give him candy
if he didn't swing.
Speaker 4 (45:44):
I was like, well, hold told an eight year old,
I pulled your headphone.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
I pulled my headphone out and I was like, I'm sorry.
I'm like, I don't want to sound rude to this guy.
I looked at my brother in law.
Speaker 4 (45:53):
I'm like, yeah, I like, give permission jump this guy?
Kidding me right now.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
Instead of encouraging your team to get hate this kid good,
but let's get him come on, make contact. You're encouraging
them to take pitches and then he strikes out. You're
telling You're telling an eight year old to tell it analytics.
You're telling an eight year old to take pitches to
push another eight year old out of the game because
he was dominant.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
They're eight, they're learning, and Whatno's right? What terrible president.
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Imagine being a coach in sports or being a parent,
you should be telling your kids, yeah, he may be
a good picture, but buddy, you get in.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
That box there and shutter up. You got this.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
And nothing made me more confident as a little kid
than when I knew there was some bigger kid and
he was throwing heat or whatever, and I realized baseball
is a great equalizer. I can compete and you make
contact with that kid. You took the bat right out
of this kid's hands.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
And I was there for what? So we nominate that
guy as the Garbaggiel Coach of the week. If don't
you name? You said?
Speaker 1 (46:48):
His name was a fat crockety good, dumpy dopey coach,
dumpy dolpey crock guy.
Speaker 4 (46:54):
Like, I mean, I can't believe how what they're teaching
the kid.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
It's the fact that on top of it, and then
I thought maybe rich I was like, maybe too competitive,
too aggressive to think that was why no, Manci. The
crazy part is, let's not overpest the door where the
coach said, if you take pitches.
Speaker 4 (47:07):
I'll give you candy, that's the one that Yeah, what
is he said? Dude, drive a big white van.
Speaker 1 (47:15):
And then he knew it was wrong because you know
what would happen. My brother in law would say, James,
why didn't you swing any pitches because the coach told
me not to?
Speaker 4 (47:24):
So yeah, he gave me, so he had to justify
what had happened.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
And I was like, that's not cool, dude, you're telling
him to not swing at any pitches, And yeah, I
left it, and then I felt I felt like I
used that as a reason to leave, like I'm disgusted.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
I gotta go get my mind off. I've had enough,
you know what.
Speaker 1 (47:42):
I got to get out of here, and I went
home and watching football. If there was one positive, he
did get sour Patchkins.
Speaker 4 (47:48):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (47:49):

By the way, Spot is the fact checker during this game.

Monzi for an update, it's one nothing Braves and as
you know, top of the seventh Braves win. They're in correct.
Mets somehow win. Arizona sneaks in. Yes, Mets, I was saying,
really don't have much of an incentive to win because
the Mets. If the Mets win, they have to go
to San Diego, three thousand miles to the west coast
play a red hot Padres team, even though they just
(56:54):
lost two out of three against the Brewers. They rather
go yeah, back to Milwaukee quick flight play tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (57:00):
