I'm thankful.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
We're gonna give away a bunch of Covino on Rich
Fox Sports Radio. Swiggy's Our Water bottles, And the way
you're gonna win is by guessing will Rich's mom. No,
I have compiled the game of trivia questions, and my
mom is here in the studio.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Let's welcome Rich as mom here, so in a little
bit until we get her set up on the mic
in a little bit.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
But when we do play, these are questions from the
eighties till now, sports, TV movies, all stuff you're thinking,
would my mom know? And you as a contestant, and
you at home and in the car, you just have
to simply guess will Rich's mom know or not? Giving
away prizes as a way to say thanks. And of
(02:51):
course we're gonna talk Ryan Garcia, some MLB, some Daniel Jones.
And before we get into it, what a coincident dance.
I was just talking to my mom or Dancia and
she said that you and I are cuckoo bananas or
something like that. And she goes, oh, Moncey says that
all the time. I miss Moncey.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
I miss your mom too.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Wow, here she is Manzy. My mom just brought you off.
I'm like, Manzi's doing just fine. She just hasn't been
here on our show. She's doing her own thing. But
it's great to see you, Moncey. Thankful for you and
your friendship, Thanks.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
For your mom for manifesting least right.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah, and thankful for your updates. Stick around for that.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
But I have a question for everybody, Rich's mom, Monzy, Danny,
everybody at home, Sam.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Last night? Yeah, no real great games on good games tomorrow? Right?
Speaker 3 (03:41):
No, debated, Yeah, debatable, but at least you have three
games to choose from.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Right I was.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
I was gonna say, no matter what, it could be
the stinkiest of games.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
It's still Thanksgiving, so you will watch football.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
It's the backdrop. It's on.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
You're having fun, It's part of the vibe. Last night
wasn't doing much, so I bought tickets to see Wicked.
Speaker 6 (04:00):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, Now, of course I want to see Gladiator two.
Don't be judging, but my daughter wanted to see Wicked,
so did I. I'm not too cool, I'll be all
I'd rather see Wicked than Gladiator too. Well, I'm hearing
better things about Wicked over Gladiator too.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
I'd rather see Mowana two than Gladiator two.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
By the way, On a side note, between all three
movies this weekend, they're saying the biggest box office weekend
since the pandemic, easily ready to clear over two hundred
million dollars between all three of those movies we wanted too,
expected to make over one hundred and twenty million or
something like that. So you got a lot of movies out.
I figured Tuesday night good time to see Wicked, and
(04:38):
I gotta say it was a roller coaster of emotions.
I found myself saying eh, comparing it to the original
and doing all those things comparing it to the play.
Then I got really into it, and then by the
end of it rich when I saw how much my
daughter enjoyed it, I automatically loved it.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
I'm like, I loved it.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
It was great. It was a roller coaster of fun.
Got me thinking about the og what classic that is?
Speaker 2 (05:00):
I have a question.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, I saw warnings on social media where theaters had
to say don't sing along?
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Were people singing along in the theater?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
You were in along, clapping and filming, which seems to
be okay. Back in the day we grew up, if
rerun was recording the Doobie Brothers at a concert, if
you were pirting audio at a concert or bootlegging a
movie from the screen, you'd get in trouble, But now
they're welcoming that because kids are just promoting it everywhere
on social media, just building more of the hype. I
(05:30):
guess I see a lot of people filming the screen too.
When you think about it, I guess if some influencers
posting twenty seconds like oh me Wicked, you're getting free
average different culture at different time. But I gotta say
I enjoyed it a lot. I'm not gonna say it was.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
The greatest movie I've ever seen, but it's a two parter.
Speaker 7 (05:49):
Have you seen Sorry, have you seen Wicked on stage twice?
Speaker 5 (05:53):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (05:53):
Are you still because I've only I haven't seen the movie.
I've only seen the musical multiple times, and I loved it.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
So it's good that you've seen both of you and
the movie.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
I will give you this.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Okay, this is not a spoiler, but the first part
of the movie ends where intermission ends, Yeah, where the
intermission begins in the play. So we're gonna get a
second part, maybe a year from now or whatever.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
A year from now.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
I think it is next year because I can only
imagine they filmed it all or I like back to
the future I'm giving you a thirty five year old reference,
but back to the future. They filmed it all at
once and just released it in different parts.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
True story true. So it was really good.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
I had so many thoughts that ran through my head
watching it. I watched it in three D. It was
worth it. If you have time over the holiday break,
go and check it out. Now it got me thinking
about the original nineteen thirty nine. Now, the story was
written in nineteen hundred, so we're talking iconic Americana characters, right.
(06:51):
I have to assume that most people have seen Wizard
of Oz. Now, ironically, my own girlfriend hasn't seen it.
She's one person, the one person and refuses. At that time,
I'd venture to say, see, I thought about this, I've.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Thought of it.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Whereas my dad would say, oreo cookies. I would venture
to say, if you asked a thousand people on the
street nine hundred and ninety nine see the Wizard of Oz,
being serious like I can't imagine what?
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Like I'm like, were you raised in the cave? What
the heck?
Speaker 3 (07:27):
And she would always use the same excuse, like, look,
my family not a big movie pop culture family. Grew
up in Idaho. We were outdoors. We're fishing and hunting.
We're doing that, and I'm like, all the time, you
never saw Wizard of Odds, especially around Thanksgiving time or
whenever they would air.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
I know your girlfriend, she's not a fisherman.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Seriously, did you have electricity or running water?
Speaker 3 (07:46):
I've known her fifteen I know I've known your girlfriend. Like,
it refuses, I've never seen her. Girls like I don't
like old movies. I'm like, I know, but this is
an exception. I'm not asking you to watch Angels with
thirty souls or what is the one in Home alone?
What's one in Home alone? That they parentils were filthy?
So angels are filthy souls, the parody of angels with
dirty faces. I'm not asking you to watch some James
(08:06):
Cagney classic or some Clark Gable nonsense. We're talking Wizard
of Oz based on that, based on the theory of
most people have seen it, just to get this show
a rolling rich Is there other movies? They don't have
to be classics, but maybe they're just cult classics that
when you find out your buddy hasn't seen them, it's
(08:26):
not that you lose respect, but you're like, huh, it
changes how you think about them. Are there movies that
you feel like every guy or everybody listening to Fox
Sports Radio women too, should have seen And when you
find out you haven't seen him, be like really interesting.
I mean when you see when you say cult classic,
throw me off because cult classic insinuates not everyone seen it. Yeah,
(08:47):
but there's certain guy movies that are considered cult classics.
Like if you said you didn't see Swingers, Like you're
a guy in my age range, you've never seen Swingers.
It almost there was a little respect for you. That's
considered a cult classic, you know what I mean? Blood
and Blood Out for if you're a Vato local forever
and you didn't see Blood and blood Out, I'm like,
how much of a Voto loco.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Are you really?
Speaker 3 (09:09):
If I have a Mexican friend that's never seen blood
and blood Out, I see blood and blood Out. These
are considered call classics, but they could just be regular
classics where you feel in your heart of hearts, I
think I lose a little respect for you. Okay, I
have a way to solve this, yehah. The numbers eight seven, seven,
nine nine on Fox. Before we get into Daniel, you
call him doctor Jones, Daniel Jones, what I have a
(09:31):
theory on you just referenced Indiana Jones. If you're a
guy or a woman around my age and you never
saw any Indiana Jones movie, I think you're a weirdo.
This is all based on the Wizard of Oz. Everyone's
seen it for the most part, except for my girl.
So before we get to what I think is a
brilliant theory on Daniel Jones in the Minnesota Vikings, before
we get to fight updates with Jake Paul Tyson, Ryan Garcia,
(09:55):
before we play mm will Rich's mom know for great
prizes ac Pact. Here's your chance to admit it. What
classic have you not seen?
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Ooh, that's tough.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Everyone has one, right, we all probably have one. And
you fade into you pull a little Homer Simpson, You
fade into the bushes when it comes up because you
don't want to admit you didn't see it, right.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
I know, I'm trying to think. I'm sure I've missed.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
For Rich, I bet you it's Animal House and Caddy Shack.
Ones are a little a little older and out of
his league. I've seen those for sure. I'm a little
older than Rich, not by much. But you know what
it is for me, I've had older influences in my life,
like older uncles and cousins that would be watching those
things along the way. Everybody has that. For Rich for
(10:43):
a long time, it was Goodfellas and then he finally
saw it. Yeah, Dan Bayer, hello, your campadre has never
seen Rocky What?
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (10:54):
And we're like, exactly, we have the the Dan Byer
date night. You know, the Dan Byer date night is no.
Dan Bayer has never had hibachi and he's never seen Rocky.
So one night and he's never had waffle House one night,
we can make a full day. We're gonna get together
Dan Bier and be like, dam we're gonna blow your
mind onion volcano and then rug and we're gonna pick
(11:15):
a winner. We're gonna win a date with Dan Byer.
It has to be waffle House in the morning, we're
gonna go watch Rocky and then we're gonna have hibachi.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
No thanks, I'm good.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
So when you think about what is the thing you
missed along the way, I'll give you one.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
I feel like Cavino, you could are you watch it?
Speaker 3 (11:34):
But I forgot up until a couple of years ago
when I talk about Tom hanks movies, Cavino was like, yeah,
Forrest gumpblog. I sort of saw it, it wasn't on
my radar as like one of my favorites.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
And then hourly and I'm like, you.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Know what, Yeah, I think I was like, you know,
squeezing cheeks when I came out, and I like, if
you're around college age, right, you weren't paying attention. You
were trying to, you know, get it out there. So
I don't think I cared much about this goober in
this movie. Watched it in a different place, at different time,
different mindset, and I was like, you know what, I
slept on that, but I had seen it rich I'll
(12:10):
give you one when I I that people love to quote,
and I really don't think I've ever seen it from
start to finish. I've never seen Willy Wonka and the
Chocolate Factory originally, like the first one, Jean Wilder, I've
seen parts.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
That's not fair. I'm with you.
Speaker 5 (12:27):
I've seen parts. I don't know if i've seen it all.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
I know the reference good day sir, Yeah, I don't.
I don't know it, And I don't feel like I
missed out.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
Much I'm with you.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
I don't know, you're both missing out. That is a classic.
Speaker 7 (12:38):
I feel like I've seen pieces of it, or maybe
I saw it one time, but I definitely yeah, have.
Speaker 5 (12:43):
No interest in watching it again. I got one for
you because I'm a big Disney fan.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
I've never seen Mulan and it's not crazy.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
It's like my wife's oddly, but that's not like, that's
not shocking.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
I feel like a lot of people tell me that
have you not watched?
Speaker 2 (12:58):
You said, I've never seen Aladdin?
Speaker 5 (13:00):
Then I really I'm not stupid.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
I mean like.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Lan's like a little obscure. We've always said you're a
diamond in the rough Manzi.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Yeah, not what they say behind the scenes.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
So the funny part about this conversation is the odd
movies you miss along the way. I have the person
in the room that I could blame this on today.
Oh yeah, what's the chance of my mom being here?
Because my mother, But my mom has one that I
know she hasn't seen because recently one of her friends said,
how have you never seen?
Speaker 2 (13:30):
What have you not seen? Mom?
Speaker 1 (13:31):
The Godfather.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
And all your friends are Italian And it just sounded
like she just stepped off the setson. This is one
that I saw as an adult, and I had to
like almost fake it as a kid, like, of course,
I've seen it in my family. Can you explain why
you dad, any of our siblings Star Wars?
Speaker 8 (13:58):
Oh Man, the sos Star Wars didn't light a Nope?
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Yeah, nope.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Another one that's another that's a weird one.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
And if your parents listen, I'm a kid of the
eighties and nineties, so if my parents didn't introduce me
to it, and I'd bring up those references and I'd
realize Rich never saw that kind of weird over as
an adult, but it doesn't feel the same as an adult.
So I've seen them snow, but I don't have the
love when everyone else like Store Wars.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
And how come you never fed Rich peanut butter? Yeah? Yeah,
how come that never happened.
Speaker 8 (14:27):
Because I never liked it. If I didn't like it,
my kids didn't get it.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
It does make sense, right, it's a great theory. I
get it.
Speaker 8 (14:38):
I think Rich had his first peanut butter and jelly
sandwich when he was about twenty four.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah, Store and we started our talk show. When we
first started our talk show, that's when he had it.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
We did it on the air.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
We're like, you never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich,
and he's been loving him ever ever since. So again,
based on Wicked, I enjoyed it. I'm not saying it's
the greatest b all end all, but I really enjoy it.
Made me think of the original. It's one of those
movies that everybody has seen.
Speaker 9 (15:05):
That's the date night for Rich by the way, Peanut
butter and Jelly in front of Star Wars.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Date by the way.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Do you you also speaking of if someone says they
hate the Wizard of Oz, do you also view them
in an odd way? Yeah? We have a we have
a buddy Mike and Cincinnati. We were talking about it
and he goes, Wizard of Oz hate that.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
I'm like, I kind of hate, Like, yeah, why do
you hate it? You ask him why?
Speaker 3 (15:27):
But then I'm also thinking monster, like were you were
you ever a child? Did you ever have a like
what kid didn't have a school play? Even this guy
could appreciate the charm and the sweetness of that movie.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yo, So let me.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Let me take the feedback. Let's you know, the phones
are all hot. So so it's turned us into a confession. Yeah,
the confession. But I think you have to say, I'm
a boso. I've never seen Blank. Okay, I'm a boso.
I've never seen blank. All right, I'll start it off.
I'm a boso. I've never seen Willy wank on the
chocolate factory. Danny G says, that's a crime.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
I've really don't care.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
But I'll start with that and think of some more.
Who do We got eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox,
and then we're gonna talk again football, boxing and more. Yeah,
and giving away a lot of fun prizes on the
biggest party night of the year, the day before Thanksgiving.
We got more Cavino and Rich with your feedback and
full phone calls.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Next, you gotta admit I'm a bozo. I never saw Blank.

Here, Danny g so good to see Mancy, Rich's mom
is here. We're gonna play well well Rich's mom no,
and you're gonna play along with us for a swiggy
here on the show. But I saw Wicked yesterday with
the wickedly awesome Ariana Grandee, and it was great.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
I really enjoyed it.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
But based on that thinking about I was thinking about
The Wizard of Oz and it usually aired around this
time right.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
When we were kids. Man.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
In fact, not that it matters to you guys, but
I'm watching tonight. My mom's in town and we're gonna
watch my kids, who are seven, and we think it'll
be the good First they've never seen it. And then
I'm trying to decide if my daughter likes The Wizard
of Oz. She's seven. Could she send a theater for
two and a half hours? Yes, yeah, because it moved quick.
It was a lot of fun. And that got me
(19:12):
thinking of like movies that you had to have seen.
This is your chance to confess that you haven't seen him.
My girlfriend has never seen The Wizard of Oz. It
blows my mind and she refuses to watch. But there's
certain movies they're like, you're birthright, you're a guy, or
you're a sports fan, you've never seen Major League sandlott Field,
the Dreams, Rocky, things like that. I'm like, really, for me,
(19:34):
I confess I've never seen Willy Wonka. Mike who runs
this place came in. He's like, I can't believe that.
I think different of your Now.
Speaker 9 (19:41):
The reason that you would love it so much COVID know,
there's so much sarcasm in it, and Gene Wilder is amazing,
like award winning performance in that movie.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
Yeah, it just wasn't a Willy Wonka household grown up,
but very much was a Wizard of Oz household. So
that's one of those movies. Now we go to you
Fox Sports Radio Nation, Danny G. Sam Monsy, you guys
got to confess. Was it good Fellows? Which one? Someone
here hasn't seen something?
Speaker 2 (20:06):
I want to know what it is, all right, I'm
a bozo.
Speaker 6 (20:08):
I definitely have not seen the first Star Wars movies.
Speaker 5 (20:14):
I see, like the ones now.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
Classic three.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
Yeah, I don't. I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
You've never seen Star Wars Empire Strikes.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
Back, which the best one I know.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
We have to do a win a date with Manzi
and we all watch some Star Wars.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Let's do that, but can't like will they hold up?
Speaker 6 (20:35):
I just feel like they look so dated?
Speaker 3 (20:37):
I think so, But then again, I'm speaking from a
kid's perspective, right. That's what's odd is that I saw
them later in life and I don't think they do.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Monzi.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
However, I do like shows like The Mandalorian and other
Star Wars Universe things. It just hey, let's go to
the phones. We'll go in the studio. What have you
not seen? And you have to start remember with I'm
a I'm a bozo. I've never seen Blank. Let's go
to Mike and miss Sorry, Mike, you're on what's up?
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Mississippi? Mississippi? What's up?
Speaker 7 (21:04):
Like?
Speaker 4 (21:04):
Hey, I was just calling. I'm a bozo.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
I'll be honest, I have not seen uh Goodfellas.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
However, I'm disappointed that none of y'all have seen Blues Brothers.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
I'm a boso. I've seen brother I'm boo a little
before my time. If you're a kid of the eighties
seventies comedies like Animal House, I've seen, but I can't
tell you that I've watched Animal House like multiple times.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Fallen through.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
You hate John Belushi admitted? Maybe that's it.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yeah, I like Jim. I like I like Jim Belushi,
Mister Destiny. How much we show Goodfellows on cable TV
all the time? How do you miss that one?
Speaker 3 (21:40):
By the way, uh Ray Liota from my hometown Union,
New Jersey, Like you had to watch that growing up
for me. So you have a homework assignment this weekend, man,
check it out. Let's go to Jeff and Idaho. You're
all covin on rich day before Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
You're boso. You haven't seen what it's The War Dogs?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Wow? You know how old are you?
Speaker 2 (22:00):
How old are you?
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Jeff fifty?
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Yeah, I don't know how you missed that years old.
That movie came out when you were in your like
prime twenties or prime. Quentin Tarantino again, a cult classic,
but very much a guy movie that I'm very surprised
he didn't hear.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
All Right, let's go too, Ryan in Ohio, Hey.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Ryan, Hey, guys, what's going off?
Speaker 1 (22:21):
What's up? Buddy?
Speaker 4 (22:23):
I called because I guess I'm a bozo. I wasn't
playing on saying that movies that I didn't see because
I've a movie buff. I've seen about all of them,
but Raging Bull I've never seen.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Wow, classic de Niro, Pashi.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Can I tell you I'm a bozo. I've never seen
Ridging Bull.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
I've never seen.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
It's a good one.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
I've seen parts of it, but never all the way through.
I wouldn't even say that's one of his like top
five film.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
No, but it's a good one.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Let's black and like, it's black and white when it
didn't need to be. And I don't know, Eric and Dayton,
you're on with C and R.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
What's up, buddy?
Speaker 4 (22:58):
Hey, Eric, Hey, guys, I wanted to start off as
an Indiana fan saying fire Mike Woodson, but a movie
I'm proposed though I've never seen his dumb and dumber,
But I love getting flack for watching the movie.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
You you almost get my mom a heart attack.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
So good.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
I can't believe that.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
I thought everybody has seen that way.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
I love that you love that our pets.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Seriously, I mean, I'll be honest, my mom. You have
three kids that are roughly forty ish. How many times
does that play in our household?
Speaker 1 (23:32):
At least a dozen?
Speaker 3 (23:35):
And Billy Madison, I would say Madison, tommy boy, so good.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Yeaha pet detective.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
They're like almost automatic where they're shocking when you when
you haven't seen him. I will take three more and
then we're gonna talk some Daniel Jones. All right, Andy
in Rhode Island, what's up?
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Andy? Handy?
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Hey by, what's up buddy?
Speaker 4 (23:56):
He's on my Confts home And I've never seen pulp fiction.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
Wow, that's a hell of a good one. He's never
seen pulp fiction. That's a good confession, because that is
a movie a grown man.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
Should have seen.
Speaker 9 (24:11):
Everybody. I found out Brenda never saw that movie just
the other day.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
There's excitement in that. If she's willing now watch, I don't.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Think she is.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
See that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
She's like, Rich, she doesn't like old movies.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
There's like some weird feeling of holding yeah, dandy, I
don't like James Cagney movies.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
This is travolted in the nineties.
Speaker 9 (24:30):
You've said before, Rich, if you've seen something, you don't
really rewatch it.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
I know, but you know what pulp fiction in that year.
There are three more than that, but shaw Shank, Pulp Fiction,
and Forrest Gump all came out within six months, and
to me, those are three movies, shaw Shank being to me,
I think the best of all of them. Oh yeah,
if him, Rob, you have never seen that movie? I'm
questioning you in a weird way, like, how have you.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Never seen that?
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Cold? I got a I got a handful of Kabino
that we're gonna play a whole game. Oh I don't
have a handful Covino. Let me take that back, Covino, Moncey.
To know Covino is to ask him have I seen something?
And if he hasn't, his default is it was the nineties.
I was busy, getting moody. That's his answer to everything.
(25:15):
But I was also very hardcore into gang movies. It
was the gang movie era, Clockers, American History Reacts, Good Fellas, you.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Know, all those movies. But I already mentioned that one.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
So I wasn't like into rom coms in that era
of my life. But I wanted to display my scarface DVDs.
I wasn't trying to get into some I don't know
whatever you got. I have a list of rom coms,
and listen, I'm a different guy now.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
I'm man enough to tell you that I am a
huge fan of rom comms.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
They're so good.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
There is a list, and I just want to go
through these quick, because I could promise you Covino has
not seen most of these. Sure, clueless, I have seen
that one, okod, Yeah, I've seen that one.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Father of the Broad Oh I think I've seen it. Yeah,
I've seen it. Never saw Father of the Bad.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
That's not that's that's a non issue.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
I don't think that's a com. Is that a rom com?
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah it is.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
But like it's like saying like I never saw three Amigo's,
Like I'm sorry, Like that's a good movie.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
But I've seen it. Do I've seen it? I have,
so I get both of those movies. But by the way,
I'm not saying these are all musty Sam. It's just
I want to prove Cavino does have a blind spot
because he has seen all the gangster movies. I hate
to prove you doing good. One of the best ones,
Sleepless in Seattle.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
Never seen it. Yeah, I've never seen it.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Never saw it, Never saw it.
Speaker 5 (26:31):
What I think that I was young and.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
I never saw figure out what year that came out?
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Right, figure out how old it was, you think I
give it as my mom would say, a ratsass about that.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
But that's still one that's on a lot.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
Now.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Now I'm a sensitive man. I was in high school movie. Yeah,
I was in high school playing high school football day.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
I cared about that. I would watch it now, for sure,
you've got mail. Never saw it.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
I seen it, saying what about the city slickers? Guys,
come on another the city slickers. I've never seen it.
When Harry met Sally, No, I don't care about when
they just do all Billy Christ care about when they
met it?
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Never interested me how to lose a guy in ten days? No,
I never said that. I don't want to see that.
I don't care.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
I don't want to say ten things I hate about you. Oh,
I love that.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
I'm going to do my own twenty things I hate
about rich that's to see I have about that.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
I've never seen that. Which who's in the.
Speaker 8 (27:29):
Ten things they hate about you?
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Yeah, I've never seen it? Maybe me and Marianna watch
how about this? I two of my favorite rom coms again,
so well round. I love Sweet Home Alabama. I see it, okay, okay, yeah,
because I thought I thought it was Matthew McConaughey the
whole time, Lucas.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
Alright, Jennifer Garner thirteen going on thirty, I've seen it, no, okay,
all right? So I mean the Capitol One lady. I
was fifty does Capital One commercials and nothing else? All right, guys,
So I'm still doing Billy Chris. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
The whole point is there's certain movies that are must sees,
that are shocking when you don't see them. So if
you want to confess to yourself, that's your homework assignment.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Get it done.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
You got a few days to enjoy a nice movie,
Enjoy the Wizard of Oz, Enjoy Wicked.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Moving on Daniel Jones.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
They're saying it might be the biggest box office weekend
since COVID because you got for the kids. I'm sure
a lot of parents are going to be taking their
kids to Mowana to Gladiator two is like the guys
movie of the year, and Wicked's huge. So enjoy, enjoy
some football, enjoy some movies. But now we turn to
the NFL. Let's get into some sports here on Fox Sports.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
Ready. But that was fun. I enjoyed that.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
That was fun.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Daniel Jones to the Vikings, Jess, I.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Have a theory as to why this makes perfect sense, becaue,
You're right when you're deal. Well, because I'm listening to
people around the network Fox Sports, ESPN. I'm keeping my
ear to what's going on, and no one's really talking
about it, and no one's really giving you the reason,
and to me, it's very clear. Okay, So this is
rich makes sense of the Daniel Jones deal to the Vikings.
(29:05):
One year, they're paying him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
This is a very low risk situation. This is the
lowest risk. This is I mean, this is like picking
him up for peanuts. Now, we know the future of
the Minnesota Vikings is likely JJ McCarthy. They picked him
(29:25):
first round from Michigan.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
He got hurt. They had a pivot, pivot.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
They had a pivot to Sam Donald, who is surprised
to everyone, Sam Donald twenty seven hundred yards so far,
twenty one Tuddies, ten picks playing great QBR over one
hundred Sam Donald. A lot of people said, hey, man,
if he gets a legit chance with a good coach,
a good offensive mind like Kevin O'Connell, who's like appears
(29:50):
to be a quarterback fixer, it makes sense. Whisper QB whisperer,
he's the Ceasar Milan. If he's the Caesar Milan of
QB's of QBS, then it makes perfect sense. You go
into next year taking away the possibility of Sam Donald
(30:11):
going on a run and winning the Vikings their first
ever Super Bowl, which I don't imagine happening, but you
know what, that would.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Be pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
But you're saying they're gonna totally risk the perfect fit
that is Sam Donald.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Right now, because Sam Donald, what is he gonna want
next year? Chit ching?
Speaker 3 (30:30):
Who knows he gonna chase the bag as much as
Wan Soto's chasing the bag in baseball. So Sam Donald,
the Vikings might say, hey, we like you, Sam Donald,
but we don't like your forty fifty sixty million dollars
a year enough because JJ McCarthy is what we're looking
at anyway, Plus we have what Mullins and ripping and
now the those are all yeah, but they're stacked with qbs.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
They have an an.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
Those are ancillary quarterbacks in a pretty good quarterback room.
You bring Daniel Jones in, and Daniel Jones combined with
JJ McCarthy doesn't feel like a track step back from
Sam Donald and they would spend zero money moving forward
if Sam Donald wants the big bucks. So Daniel Jones
buys time for McCarthy to learn a little bit under
(31:12):
him in his future. Is that what you're saying, JJ
McCarthy through that whole organization for a loop. By J
McCarthy getting injured, the Vikings didn't even have to make
a decision, Oh do we go Donald and JJ JJ
McCarthy's not playing. We know this, So I'm just saying,
Daniel Jones on the cheap seems like a real good
(31:35):
plan for the Vikings if their real plan is JJ
McCarthy in a couple of years anyway, Why pay Sam
Donald forty something million dollars a year when Daniel Jones
could probably get got on the cheap and you could
start incorporating JJ McCarthy. So to me, when people like man,
why would they pick him up? That it's very clear
why they would pick him up. In fact, I'm shocked
that the Niners didn't pick him up because I think
(31:59):
it's a matter of well, the only flip side to
your argument again Rich is making sense of it is
simply you got something that's working people and the fans
are buying into it. The team's playing well behind this guy.
Why mess with that? At this point, I argue this.
You know a lot of guys will like a girl
while they're dating. Guess when they don't like her when
she wants her ring and they're like, I don't know
(32:19):
if I like her that much. They like Sam Donald,
but you know what, they liked her right now. They
like Sam Donald for the cheap and nine to two.
Do they like Sam Donald if he gets a Daniel
Jones contract from a year ago, maybe not? So think
about that, Vikings. Daniel Jones makes all the sense in
the world to me. Let's go to Manzi for an update.
Speaker 6 (32:39):
What's going on, Buddy, Well, in case he didn't know
that Fred Warner was a badass of the forty nine ers,
he's a badass. He's been playing through a fractured ankle
since Week four and he's still gonna play in his
nineth conxecutive game. So this weekend against the.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Bills, Big A j brought the boom ae w wrestling
over the weekend with a broken foot. Hello, if you
call in sick.
Speaker 6 (33:00):
Because you have an ingrown toenail or something, I'm gonna
bring this up. Okay, Chiefs running back is sanpa Checko
and edge Charles Eminnie.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
You are going to return this Friday against the Raiders.
Speaker 6 (33:11):
Bring any setbacks the Raiders is gonna have eight and
O'Connell's start at quarterback. Packers have ruled out wide receiver
Romeo Dobbs because of a concussion and cornerback Jaiyere Alexander
because of a knee injury for Thursday's game against the Dolphins.
Speaker 5 (33:22):
Chargers running back JK.
Speaker 6 (33:24):
Dobbins out for Week thirteen against the Falcons because of
a knee injury. In fact, head coach Jim Harbaugh adds
that he's gonna miss some time. Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence
says that surgery is not off the table on his
ac joint spring.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
He's expected to practice today.
Speaker 7 (33:36):
But he would prefer to play the rest of the season.
Surgery is still very much on the table. In the NBA,
Warriors have rolled out Steph Currery for tonight's game against OKC.
Two upsets in college hoops, third rank Gonzaga just lost
to West Virginia in overtime eighty six seventy eight Louisville
with the eighty nine to sixty one upset over fourteenth
thranked Indiana.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Back to you guys, hey manzi is Josh Allen is
he's sitting out against the Niners as just a little
early chrismas game come here.
Speaker 5 (34:00):
Or no, no, absolutely not. I need him.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Good, Josh Allen take a week car.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
No RelA meet him from my guillotine league.
Speaker 3 (34:09):

the water bottles that everyone's raving about in a game
we're calling will Rich's Mom.
Speaker 8 (36:03):
No.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
I've compiled up a list of questions all pop culture
and sports related from nineteen eighty until now.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Will my mom know? You just got to guess? Will
she know?
Speaker 3 (36:14):
If you guess right, win a prize? So of you
on in early eight, seven, seven, nine nine on Fox. Now,
I just realized we never got Sam's answer to what
his blind spot was. What has he never seen?
Speaker 2 (36:24):
Yeah? He was chirping loud at a lot of opinion.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
I was weighing in on films that other people brought
up that I hadn't seen, but a couple from the
last like twenty years.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
I'm a boso. I never saw Inception, you know, and
I'm a bozo. I never saw Interstellar. I mean there's
a couple I'm looking off there is a bistell.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
I never saw that. Interception was that big. That was
a good mind bender one that a lot of people.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
Were, you know, sa Mierstellar was long though, I.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
Feel it and I feel like the other one was overrated.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
Inception, Yeah, I love DiCaprio. I wanted, oh can I
give you one?
Speaker 3 (36:58):
I'm a bozo but we know that already, But I
never I didn't know which is related to the original Boso.
A lot of people know that's true.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
My mom's uncle also, I never saw the Batman with Baine.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
What okay? That is that the Dark Which one is
the Dark Knight?
Speaker 3 (37:17):
Know? Is that the Dark Knight rises in either one?
I was saying, those are probably must see.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
The Dark Knight's the first one with Christian Bale. I'll
give you one more.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
I'll give you one more both, one more bozo statement,
and then we'll then we'll talk a little boxing little NFL.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
I never saw a movie. I don't think you even
know this. I've never seen the Matrix. Oh wow, I didn't.
I've lied about it.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
When people talk about Neo and I assume and I'm
always like, oh, when they.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Will, that will hold up, that will hold up.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
So like maybe one now, one years ago, all right,
we talked little Daniel Jones Vikings. Any Jerry Springer final
thoughts on that. I think he is making sense of it,
saying it just it sort of uh gives them an
opportunity to.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
Maybe get rid of Donald.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
It gives you Daniel Jones and have JJ McCarthy play
behind him. It's a great contingency plan that it seems
like could have fit for a few other teams. But
the Vikings are thinking Donald is great right now nine
and two of the team's good. But they may not
want Sam Donald to be the guy that they serve
a contract too long term.
Speaker 9 (38:21):
The only thought I have about that, rich is that
JJ McCarthy. I know it was the preseason, but the
one game he played. I watched it closely because it
was against the Raiders. Man, did he look good? He
looks so NFL ready that Vikings fans and coaches were
so sad when he wound up getting injured towards the
end of that game. I don't know if they want
(38:41):
to have him sitting on the bench for a couple
of years.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
So then maybe a veteran Daniel Jones on like a
three to five year mil backup contract that a guy
like Sam Donald wouldn't take, right. It proves the point, right,
So yeah, so either way, yeah that does work out
or it makes sense anyway, a one year deal Daniel Jones,
pain and peanuts, but happy he ended up somewhere and
(39:04):
he's been a good team right now. So again, I
also before the show, I'm promising a lot, but I
want to get to Juan Soto because every hour there's
a new article about Red Sox, Mets, Yankees. Is this
is he the ultimate bag chaser in sports history?
Speaker 2 (39:19):
And who do you blame? The teams?
Speaker 3 (39:21):
The players are the fans losing it to bargain, to negotiate,
you know, as anybody would when you have offers, when
people want you why would you settle?
Speaker 1 (39:29):
You know, I'm sure he wants to stay with the Yankees.
Why wouldn't he? They made it through the World Series,
the fans loved him.
Speaker 3 (39:35):
But he's just shopping out and shopping around to see
what people are willing to offer. Right, So we'll talk
some Wan Soto, some NFL and as you get into
the fight game. Carino, This is no ad, but I
wanted to give everyone heads up. I'm not a big
Black Friday shopper, but I just downloaded my mom's phone
for her because I'm.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
The best son in the world. Was that sarcastic left?
That was a genuine laugh?
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Do you know you could get We had a Hulu
for a dollar a month for a year.
Speaker 3 (40:03):
So of all your streaming services, like I mean, you're
paying hundreds between HBO Max and Netflix and Amazon and
Peacock and paramount.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
Hulu is they're doing a promotion.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Ou it's a dollar a month for twelve months, So
you could get Hulu for a year for twelve bucks.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
Sounds desperate.
Speaker 5 (40:20):
And if you already have If you already have Hulu,
can I still do that?
Speaker 1 (40:24):
You can cancel and tell him to beat it and
do it again.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Yea. How about YouTube TV for a dollar a month
for a year. I love that.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
Do that?
Speaker 2 (40:30):
I listen, Let's I have much much more.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
If there's deals out there, grab them all right?
Speaker 3 (40:36):
So could you know your algorithm provides a hell of
a lot of boxing content.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
I know this well.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
There's a few stories, few rumors out there, right. Ryan
Garcia is in the news because he's fighting December thirtieth.
He's fighting against Rukiya Rukaya Ampo. I forgot to say
his first name, but he's fighting Ampo in Tokyo December thirtieth.
He wants it to be payback for Ampo beating up
on an old manny Pakiow. He was twenty eight when
(41:04):
Pakiao is forty five when he beat him up. So
he wants vengeance. He wants revenge for the Pakiao thing.
So Ryan Garcia's fighting this dude December thirtieth. But it's
an exhibition fight. Is this he's in some hot water?
Is this sort of how Mike Tyson got revenge for
Muhammad Ali?
Speaker 2 (41:19):
Yeah?
