But let's start with what is obviously the big story
of the day. Two NFL games here on a Christmas Wednesday,
the Kansas City Chiefs in Game one took care of
the Pittsburgh Steelers' final score in that game. It was
a lot to a little twenty nine to ten is
the final. Russell Wilson did have a touchdown run, but

also through an interception in the red zone. That touchdown
run was the only time the Pittsburgh Steelers crossed the
goal line with the victory, Kansas City clinches the number
one seed in the AFC. Obviously, that means they will
have not only home field advantage but also that first
round by they need it. They have played a three
games in eleven days, but the Kansas City Chiefs vj Husky.

Will be the number one seed in the AFC this seay.
And you know what you gotta do.

You gotta go through Arrowhead And I listen, I got
one team in an AFC that's got a shot.

just today you can see the relief on it. It
didn't they look happy talking to whoever. I'm sorry, this
outline reporter was doing the game, but you know they
had this look like a like, okay, we know over

Well, I mean keep in mind the way the Seeds
would hold. If the Seeds hold, they would be playing
Houston in Arrowhead, who they just beat last Saturday. Houston,
of course banged up all sorts of injuries. We know
about the Tank Dell injury that happened last week, so
it's hard to see.

Yeah. No, I think it was funny.

They were showing some postgame locker room stuff on you know,
you can find it on social media, and I think
exactly what you said is it's relief, but not in
like the traditional sense that you would think like there
was never a doubt. They've been there, they've done it,
they've won ever, they've whatever. But I think it was
they saw and Patrick Mahomes talked about it the whole team.
Did they saw this stretch on the schedule. When the

schedule came out, It's like, oh, we got to play
on a on a Sunday and then a Saturday and
then we play on a Wednesday. And it's like and
these are the crucial games that are gonna determine exactly
what you just said.

Black Friday two weeks prior before to Stretch Friday.

Yeah, like you're a football coach, you know, Like, Bro,
that routine is so and it's not just a one
Thursday game.

It's not just a Monday night game here or there.

It's three games at eleven it's playing on Black Friday,
and then it's playing again three day, three games in
eleven days. I hate to keep harping on it, but
to go from a Sunday to a Saturday to a Wednesday,
and so you could just see in that locker room
just the relief from that team of like, like you said,
it's not only just that we get to host everything
and say, hey, we can rest guys next week. Patrick

Maholmes doesn't have to play on one ankle if he
doesn't want to. They're hosting the Bronx, or they're they're
traveling to Denver.

stay home, don't even get on the flight. Now, that's
not gonna happen. But I would tell him. I would

grab a nice warm sideline jacket. If you want to
come support your guys, that's fine, but don't even bring
your pets.

out there in Inglewood. But two close games this year,

points and you want to send a message to Denver.
Plus I'll be honest with you, I need them to
beat Denver. So the Dolphins still got to shout out

and we played Cleveland, so I need him to beat Denver.

But if i'm them, you play them.

Andy Reid has historically played as guys when he's in Philly.
The Stars played in the preseason in Kansas City, the
Stars playing the preseason.

I'm all for that.

And football is not a game you could just roll
out of bed man and grab your Cleeds, bag of
Doritos in the juice box and go play.

And once you stop playing like a guy that comes up,
I all right, takes him a few weeks kind of
get going. So three weeks is almost close to IRS four.
So I think I think you take them, think you
play them in Denver. It's still it's still a message
you want to send. There's still a professional a professionalism about,
and there's still a competitiveness about, like, hey, now we're
not just gonna get We're not just gonna give Denver

a division win over us. No, we're gonna go out
here and play hard. But I think after that, you
know you'll be good. But I think you still playing here.

By the way, really quickly, you don't mean to change
the subject completely, But the Celtics Sixers game has just
tipped off, the third NBA game. Celtics with the green
unis and the guys are wearing red stockings, so uh,

God, there's such a screw good on that. First of all,
See this is something that the NBA does. Then when
they're trying to be cool and they're trying to be different,
why are we wearing dark unis at home? Like, why
it's never been that, it's the white jerseys, it's the
white unis at home.

Why are we wearing dark unis at your own? The
dark unis are for the road, the red thing.

It's like, I see, like, I think that's well, who
there's porks out there that's got one And I get
that kids, you know, guys want to wear one sleeve
on one leg or something like that.

I get the I'm not with it, man, I'm cool

I get it's the Christmas colors, but they don't have
none of the red on the court other than was
that Emirates is now you pronounced that Emirates the sponsor
that you have down there.

Of would have decorated the court with a bowl or something,
make it made that Christmasy, then I can get it.
But just everybody coming out with these red stocking kind
of socks on. Tatum's got like one on Porziggi's got

By the way, Kris STAPs porzingis sit and I don't
mean to be sarcastic, but in the least surprising news ever,
looks like he is coming up lame with some sort
of twisted ankle or whatever.

Celtics, by the way, three and a half games back
in the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers are just pacing
the entire entire league. Guy, I saw donovanch'll tweet out
yesterday Christmas coming soon or something like that, basically insinuating, hey,
give me another year. I'll make sure that we're playing
Christmas steak going for so.

I feel you I'll get a chance to see them
up close in person. I'll be Monday, I will be
Lakers Caps fantast.

I'll be there covering that game. So I definitely want

Let me ask you back to football, sure, Obviously the win,
Casey clinches the number one seed. Pittsburgh three straight losses
during this brutal stretch to kind of end the back
half of the year. By the way, it does not
get easier with their one final game. They of course,
are playing Cincinnati at home to close out the regular
season next week. Pittsburgh ten and six now half a

game back from Baltimore. Baltimore currently against the Houston Texans
up ten to nothing. Have we seen, let mean, we've
seen the best of Pittsburgh. R Like yes, yeah, okay.

No no, no, no door closed, yeah yeah, door close.
So yeah, they get to it. They're not gonna win
a division. They'll have to go on the road and
they're not going to Buffalo and winning, and they're not going,
now wow, going to Houston and winning with all the
injuries and the stuff they got going on their CJ.
Stroud and I said this last year when people were
banging on Bryce Young, I'm like, Bryce Young has a
very very bad and horrific situation he's in. Stroud's situation

is much better for a rookie quarterback to be in.
But you're starting to kind of look and go, Okay,
I don't think he's topped out. But I didn't know
if Stroud was the number two pickers high as everybody
else loved them last year.

That's not Ohio State thing. That's just me putting on
the tape. I called the kids.

I called two of his high school games when he
was living out here in Rancho. When he's out here
in Rancho living in San Bernardino, Valley called two of
us high school games out there. So going into Houston,
maybe Pittsburgh's because defense travels, right, defensive running game travels,
so their defense is gonna show up. It's just can
they run the ball and not turn the ball over.
Remember they're about to score early in the game. Rush

doesn't look off the safety. He throws it right to him.
He throws it right in double coverage, and throws a
pick in the end zone. You would think they're getting
three out of that drive. Now scores twenty nine and
the ten don't make that much of a different in
the final score. But it doesn't make a difference at
that point of the game as far as momentum goes.
And then you're giving the ball back to them. It's different.
If you put points on the board, you have to
kick off and get back to them. But to give
the ball back to the opposing team in the end zone,

that's where you're backing yourself up. And now you're chasing
points and chasing possessions. An the NFL. So cool year,
they're gonna have to figure out what quarterback they can't
move forward him next year. I think this is a
one year thing even with Fills. Fields is a free agent,
if I'm not mistaken this last year deal, So Fields
is a free agent. So Pittsburgh was gonna be resetting
completely again from the quarterback position what they've been seemingly

doing for the last three to four years.

But yeah, they're done really quick.

With Casey getting that number one seed, we assume it'll
probably be either Baltimore or Buffalo going in the arrowhead
for the AFC Championship game. Yeah, who would you like
in that hype? Who would you like more to take
down Kansas City in that hypothetical match?

More? Okay, be more.

I need Lamar Jacks to do it. I need because
I've said this to you and I have said to everybody
else on Fox Sports Radio anytime people to hear me
talk about it. The Buffalo Bills windows closed to winning
a Super Bowl. Yes, still winning eleven or twelve games, Yes,
still win a playoff game. Yes, Josh Allen will score
forty points a couple of times a year. Yet they
will do all of that but I'm talking about holding
the Lombardi. That's different. Their window closed that last shot

they had. I go back to the divisional game, the
thirteen second game you blew and Josh Allen played tremendous
that day.

beat everybody else in the AFC and got into.

If you still just have to go through Pat Mahooney
in the postseason, Josh Is shown you he could beat
you in October. He could beat him in November, he
could beat him in September, he could beat him in December.
You know when he can't beat him, He can't beat
him in January. So I would much rather see a
rematch of last year because I don't know what the
play call it was for the Ravens. Last year an
AFC Championshi game, number one running team in the last

twenty four months at that point in the AFC Championship Game,
last twenty four months, last two years, and you wanted
to try to prove that you had a pocket.

It almost was like it was almost like Ohio State
Michigan this year. Right like Ryan Day saw that tweet.

even equate it in my head until right now. But

they were trying to like they were trying to prove no, no, no,

not only gives you the best quarterback in the draft,

he gives you immediate relevancy where people care like no
disrespecting tenant, but like bo Nix has been really good.
I don't know that people are tuning in just to
watch bo Nix. Good for him, Broncos are playing well.

Shador gives you credibility interest to your point, even if
Coach Prime isn't coaching that team, Coach Prime is kind
of in that orbit. Yeah, you don't think they're gonna
be asking Coach Prime questions about it every time he
does a media availability as the coach the Colorado Buffaloes.
So that is my wish for the Las Vegas Raiders,
toughest division in football right now, get your future quarterback.

That also makes you instantaneously one of the most interesting
teams in the league.

If he leaves Colorado, that would be the only situation
I would want him to go to because I don't
