iHeartRadio app like searching FSR.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, if you didn't get your Texas Rangers cap by now,
it's too late. It is way too late. Monte Belanos
is just seeing the Texas Ranger alternative cap put out
by New Era. I believe that's a New Era crap
that was pulled off the shelves.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
It's it's it's already been pulled.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Yes. Can you get the other twenty nine clubs, even
the Astros one that looks like ash Os. Yeah, they
put a logo over the team name and what are
the Texas Rangers?

Speaker 4 (00:52):
There?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
You can say it?

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Can I say that? It says it looks like it
reads yes, which is Spanish for boots.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Which I did I did not know. I did not
I did not know. You guys, Moncey saw it because
Big Mike walked in here, the guy who doesn't run
this place, and goes you are you your tirt? And
is like what And I was about to go to
HR and then she saw the hat and lost her mind.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
I didn't know. I cannot believe this was printed, approved,
put on the shelves at all. This is one hilarious.
But who saw this and was like, yep, that's the one.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Move forward.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Make a million of them.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Jack looks good, looks looks good looks good looks good
looks good. Yep, ship them out.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Ship them out, put them on the shelves, put out
those tatus.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Maybe maybe somebody who took German and Ice school like myself.
I did not know what teitas meant. Honestly I did not.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Also, Texas, you know speak people speak Spanish there, Texas,
what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I guarantee that would have sold like crazy, and every
wear All of.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
A sudden, everybody would be wearing a Texas Rangers hat.
They should have kept them on the shelves. This would
have sold. I was gonna buy one. You guys like
this is hilarious. It's so good because it's so bad.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
What Major League Baseball putting the kabash on it? Yes,
ending oh, I will say.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
All the other ones also look terrible, but for different reasons.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
This isn't This isn't work. That's odd though, because sports
companies usually don't make ugly looking hats that forcing their
fans to wear like the NFL. Yeah, they never make
ugly looking hats. Championship hats. They're never ugly. I am
being totally facetious. I haven't seen a league produced hat
that I've wanted to wear, probably in over a decade.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I would not wear this Dodgers hat if you gave
me money, like I would not. Are you kidding me?
None of them are good? That one is just hilarious.
That's the one you should have kept on the shelves.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
You shouldn't wud you rather? Would you rather wear the
Dodgers hat? Or vacation in Iowa? Iowa? Sam was able
to just don't don't search titas on any work computer.
Just search Texas Rangers hat on the work computer.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Stories on it so you can see it.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
And by the way, this is just another example of
Major League Baseball discontinuing something very fun because of a
graphic exchange on NBC Philadelphia. Previously, when the Phillies had
played the Pirates, the score bug on the TV telecast
would show the p for the Phillies zero zero for

(03:30):
the score and the P for the Pirates logo. So
it's spell out poop, keep it clean, eyesaking right right.
None of that anymore? Not fun anymore in.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Baseball, no more, No more poop on the TV and
the Keystone States, and no more taitas hats man. They're
not gonna want us back here on Cavino and Rich.
This Iowa backyard is the only thing to save us
so far, the only wholesome thing we've discussed it truly
is I want to get into this Celtics docu series
produced by Bill Simmons. Started watching some of it last

(04:01):
night and it really just kind of started to get
the wheels turning of do we need a Celtics docuseries?
And if we don't, what sports team, college or pro
I'm even for? Would you be willing to think that
could produce a docuseries where there'd be enough content that
you would be interested in the last thing that I

(04:24):
want to see is another story about a Boston sports team.
I feel we get so many of them, but there
are stories that I still need to be told in sports.
So we put that question to you, if there was
one team in any sport in professional or college that
you wanted to see a full docuseries of who would
be sufficient what would be that team? Hopefully it's not

(04:47):
the Boston Celtics, because there already is one of that.
I'll give you my thoughts on it in a second,
but I do want to mention this. When we posted
the picture of Iowa Sam vacationing in Iowa. If you're
just tuning in, I put it up on Twitter at
Dan Byer on Fox Fox Sports Radio has retweeted it. Manzi,
You've retweeted it, so is Jason Stewart at Jason Stewart

(05:08):
at Manzi Blanio's and we're getting replies. We're getting replies
from this. I asked Iowa Sam, when he went home
to Iowa for a few days, give me a picture
of Iowa. I waited twenty four hours only for him
to send me back a picture of an overcast sky
backyard with a shed like that's what it was in
a fire pit man. There's many details you're leaving out here,

(05:29):
and a tipped over basketball hoop, a line of unripe
leaves on the fence line, and also a strip of
snow by the garage. I've also noticed there's a piece
of paneling off of the garage. And by the ways,
we found out this was garage number two. But where
in the world could this place be if it isn't Iowa,
That's what I want to know. I'm getting a lot
of Wisconsin replies, No, that is not Wisconsin. Chad tweets

(05:52):
in Oklahoma. Nice. Jason and I were just there in November.
I think the dormant grass would fit. Yes, that could
be Aklahoma.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
That's why I said Texas kind of like that yellow
dead dead grass.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
You know. I think it's a little too far south.
Another person Milwaukee my backyard. That's from will It was
not my backyard. Kevin Short I love Kevin Canada absolutely.
How about Eric Landrum. I love Eric's Toledo, Ohio could
totally This could totally be Toledo, Ohio, very specific four

(06:24):
to fifteen. It could also be Warsaw, Poland. I think
it could. Absolutely. I think it could be. There are
a lot of options. Check out Iowa. Sam's vacation picture.
Mind you, that was the vacation picture that he sent
to us. My goodness, for twenty four hours, nothing with
nothing with a Kinnick Stadium or Carver Hawkeye or what

(06:46):
else is there in Iowa City or Cedar Rapids.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah, you have the cornfield paniccrast, you have the old
capitol building onto your old high school and taking a
picture different places on campus. It's just a random backyard
with a shed in a neighbor's backyard.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Go wide open field.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
It's just like this. This is stop photo from the internet.
You didn't even take this.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
You just went to Google and said generic photo.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Backyard looks like the backyard that that guy kept those
girls in that house in Cleveland. Nice, that's what it
looks nice exactly right right.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I was gonna say it's like Buffalo Bill's backyard or
something like Away Silence of the Lambs.

Speaker 6 (07:23):
It definitely has abduction or it's a it's a picture
sent to Homeland Security. This is where the immigrants are
store looks sixty immigrants people.

Speaker 7 (07:34):
YEA.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
What is in this planter that's next to this shed?
What is there something that's planted in that well? There
were there was sweet corn growing in. So this is
my girlfriend's back here. She bought a house in the
summer of either twenty twenty three or twenty twenty four. Again,
girlfriend not pictured. Yeah, no, I know, and you guys
still don't even know Manci.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Matter actually when she was here visiting, But true it
was she bought this house and she really hasn't done
anything with the backyard yet.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
But there sweet corn growing in there.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
No, and neither did the previous owners either or the
previous owners. I don't think anything's been done to that
backyard since it was built whenever, that was in the
sixties or whatever.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
But now this garden, I mean we're talking about it's
at least two feet by two feet.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
It gets really good sun, like all day north to
south or east.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
What am I saying whatever? North to south, east to west.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
I was just thinking, like the sun gets so I
was like, you should plant some sunflowers there, you know.
But there were sweet corn growing there last year. And
here's where I unte tomato plants. The gardens pinned between
a shed and a garage. How can it get good sun?
It does, though, the way that the house is facing.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
This picture facing west, so it does get worse vacation
photo I have ever seen.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
It gets east to west sun and it and honestly
probably gets in the summertime ten to twelve hours of lights.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Actually, Sam, we apparently are connected with someone who actually
thinks it's actually a beautiful place.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Is this heaven?

Speaker 8 (09:02):
No, Iowa.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
So at least one person out there likes it.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I would turn around and go right back into the
cornfield if I saw this.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
You wanted to, You wanted a photo of a cornfield
with nothing in it but but old silage and you know,
just dirt over this. This beautiful little backyard American homeowners
Dreams backyard.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
This thing is not that different of the backyard that
I grew up in. It's just the point that it's March,
there's snow, it's cloudy, there's no leaves on the ground,
the whole, the whole deal. That's the whole. I think
it really sums up life in the Midwest. Just I
think this is why people are like spring, please get here,
right right? Okay? So honestly though, that was from Thursday

(09:48):
that I went back to Iowa. Did she send us
an updated pick with her in it? No? No, did
I send you one?

Speaker 6 (09:57):
Never take pictures together?

Speaker 1 (09:59):
No, we do. I just you know, I just didn't.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
I just I send you the picture just to show
you what the weather was like and what the girl like.
The grass color very important. You can tell what month
or season it is in Iowa and the rest of
the Midwest by what color the grass is.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
By the way, is it me or did you just
use a word called silage?

Speaker 1 (10:17):
What is that?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Silage is basically everything on a corn cob, but the
corn cob. So there's an ear, there's the ear of corn,
ears of corn that grow out of the stalk. And
the silage is like everything that's kind of churned up
and torn up and you know, either fed to animals
or it's just kind of regard recycled into the ground.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
I learned what taitos means in Spanish, and you just
learned what silage means there. It is teaching people here
on Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio, educating. I
learned a little bout of the Boston Celtics last night
and watching the first episode of the docu series produced
by Bill Simmons, and it starts with the early days
of the Boston Celtics night teen fifties Boston Celtics. And

(11:02):
when I heard that there was a docu series, I
said to you, Manzi said to Jason as well, I
have zero desire in watching this and The reason I
have zero desire in watching this is it's twofold. Number
one never was a Celtics fan, so number one that
has me eliminated on a fandom sort. I'm a sports fan.

(11:22):
I can appreciate, but I'm not going to watch everything.
If there are certain teams that maybe I'm not a
fan of or didn't like, didn't care for, or if
their success was to my detriment, Like the Fab five
documentary the nact Ohio stayed out in the Elite eight
in nineteen ninety two. I have never watched that. Thirty
for thirty I will never watch it. I have not
seen it. I don't want to see the Patriots documentary

(11:45):
from when they beat the Seahawks. I have no desire,
but I'm not a Celtics fan, so I'm not into
this sort of documentary. However, I can appreciate the history
of sports. But the problem is I just mentioned the Patriots.
I feel like we had a Patriot's documentary that you
could go watch. I feel like I've seen nineteen documentaries
on the two thousand and four Boston Red Sox. How

(12:06):
many more documentaries or docuseries do we need about Boston
sports teams not the same stuff, yes, because it's not
just about the team, it's also about the people, the fans,
the community, what it's like. And I feel we're just
always talking about the Boston fans and how great the
Boston fans were with the Red Sox or what they

(12:29):
went through the Patriots. Again, haven't seen the documentary, but
I don't feel like I need to see this documentary.
I did watch the first episode last night, so I
felt I could be educated to talk about this topic.
And if you love history, then it's for you because
the whole first episode is about Bob Coosey and Bill Russell.

(12:49):
But do I want to go back and then watch
another another hour long episode.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
I didn't even know this thing was a thing. I
didn't know this documentary was out. It is not for
me either, I have I have no interest. In fact,
like you mentioned those other two, I rather watch a
documentary on the FAB five, on the Patriots. I think
the Patriots, it's like, we don't want to watch that
because that just happened. We feel like it just happens, yes,
and I don't want to watch it. I'm just saying
I will, you know, over the Celtics and maybe it's

(13:16):
because I'm not a fan of the Celtics, but I
also I'm like, I don't know if you're really gonna
teach me anything or show me something where it's gonna
I'm gonna be like, Man, I really learned something that
I didn't know, and I'm glad I learned it. I'm
being honest, I don't think I'm gonna get that. And
then when you said that they're releasing one episode per week,
I'm like, oh, no, you're really losing me.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Okay, if I'm gonna sit down with.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Everyone and you better get it all in in ninety minutes.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
There's and yeah, that's exactly that. There was two There
were two episodes available. This is on HBO Max. There
are two episodes that were available, both an hour long
and the first one, as I said, was about Bob
Cousey and Bill Russell. And then I read the description
the next one, which is about Bill Russell taking over
as the head coach of the Boston Celtics. Haven't gotten
to it yet. But again, we're two episodes in. We
haven't gotten to any point of Again I'm not against history,

(14:01):
but of a time that I remember. And again it's
the Boston Celtics who just won everything. So where's the
fun in that? So that got me to thinking if
there was a docuseriies that you could put forth about
one team, and Jason you pointed it out, this is
Bill Simmons Love Affair.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
Right.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Isn't that how you described what this project was?

Speaker 6 (14:23):
It just seems like it, right. He and his production company,
I forget what it's called. They've done a couple of
really good documentaries and by the way, I'm a docu
file Is that a word? I love me some documentaries.
I'm doing the Lacy Peterson right now on Netflix. I've
seen like three or four others and I'm still riveted.
But no, I think this is definitely a passion play

(14:45):
for Bill Simmons. He talked Max into doing six or
seven hours of this and it's definitely his thing. But
my question for you is this, if it goes back
all the way, there is something interesting that happens at
some point, right, because Boston is a very complex city racially,
is it going to get.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Into all that it started? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (15:07):
It did in the first episode. Sets me. I think
that the social aspect of that I think interest me.
If that's the case I might watch it.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
I feel that. And again that's the part where it's
like I'm not against history, but it is I feel
like it's just always about Boston and Boston, the city
and these dynamics. I don't know why, I'm just I
just I'd rather see something about a team.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
And that we know nothing about, that doesn't get attention,
that doesn't have a storyline every year and under you know, understandably.
So it's like Boston, you have had so much success
in sports, like we get that. But I think it's
because we talk about it, we hear about it. It's nothing.
It doesn't feel like anything is new, even though I'm
sure I don't know the history like that. It just
doesn't feel like anything is new because we talk so

(15:56):
much about Boston.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Yeah, they dive into the Celtics being the first team
to have a black player in the NBA, Bob Coozy's
relationship and there was there's just it grabbed my attention.
I watched it. I was not not entertained because it
was providing information and to hear Bob Coosey talk about

(16:20):
his time they had read our box daughter on there,
she you know, had some It was it was interesting.
It wasn't bad. It's just not what I need as
a sports fan. And I don't know if I'm going
to go back when there's a new episode launched and
a new episode launched and a new episode launched, And
I think, but I do think that there are teams
across the whole gamut of sports, and that's what we

(16:42):
call on you to let us know what team you
think should be a focus where if you look over
their whole history, you'd be like, Wow, that was a
roller coaster ride. And I don't know if it's the
Boston Celtics.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Yes, it's a good way to put it. And I
think its a lot that you just said I watched
it so that I could talk about it. You didn't
watch it just because you were like, oh, I want
to sit down and watch this, Because you're right, like,
if I go to someone's house and they put it on,
I'm gonna watch. I'm gonna sit through it. This isn't
something on my I'll be like, I don't want to
watch this. But in my free time when you go home,
is this what I'm gonna put on?

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Absolutely not, So we ask you the question eight seven, seven,
nine nine on Fox eight seven, seven, nine, nine, six
six three six'. Nine what team do you think would
be worthy of a docu? Series professional or? College i've
got one off the top of my, head and we're
not gonna Iowa sam this and give three. Each okay
if you have, One Sorry, sam but you know it's.

(17:32):
True if you have a, team let us. Know that's
what we want to. Know eight, seven, seven nine nine
On fox eight seven, seven, nine, nine six six three
sixteen at six.' nine the team that you want to
know the history about that would be worthy of a. Docu,
series Listen The jacksonville jaguars have been around for almost.
Thirty years it's not worth the docutionarywch? That is that

(17:54):
is not. The case there IS an nfl TEAM that
i think. Is worthy i'll give you my nomination. Right now,
ALL right i go. FOR it i Think the raiders would.
Be WORTHWHILE why i.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Don't disagree i'm just wondering what sells it?

Speaker 1 (18:06):
For you Because Of. Al DAVIS and i know there
Was An al davis documentary or thirty for thirty put
out with his hologram and the, whole DEAL and i
actually thought it, was entertaining but just more of the
ins and Outs of OAKLAND to la to what it
meant TO the, la community Back, to oakland than Ultimately
To las vegas and all of the different characters that

(18:29):
were on, that team whether It Be kenny Stabler And
jack tatum in, the seventies whether it be in the
Eighties With, Lyle Alzado howie Long And, marcus allen what
transpired now, MOVING forward i Think the raiders would carry
enough cachet where you would step away from that and, be, like.
Okay Wow and i'm Not a, raiders fan Just like
i'm Not a, celtics FAN but i at least think

(18:50):
That the raiders would give a. New perspective and you're
dealing with a fan base that is so unique THROUGHOUT
the nfl that would be a huge part, of it
WHICH is i feel like What these boston documentaries are.
ALSO bag i Think the raiders fan base would give.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
You enough there's a lot of intrigue With the raiders and,
their HISTORY and i think that's what's missing here With.
The celtics there's not There's no.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Celtics, win again yes exactly to. The bottles good, For, you.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Like there's just no introgu there's no mysterious like side Of,
the CELTICS and i feel like With, THE raiders i
would actually learn some things because they're not in the
news like the Like. The celtics, but yeah, just like
oh yeah they, Won, again, okay, great, yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
No, no there's.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
No intrigue there's intrigue With.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
THE raiders i give. You That, jason stewart you have
a nomination for A team.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
I do i do so The the a's when they Moved. To,
oakland yeah if you think, About, it okay in, the
seventies they were owned by a Guy Named. Chuck Finley
chuck finley was a major player in the early days of.
Free agency he sold All his a's To the yankees
and all. That stuff And Then billy martin came in.

(19:55):
The eighties then they became the best team in baseball
in the, late eighties and then they They had moneyball
and now they're Playing. IN sacramento i think there's an.
Arc there there's an Arc the a's since they Got.
To oakland that is a really really.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Good. Suggestion yep because also of The Personalities reggie jackson
and others in the nineteen, seventy team you would know.
The names you would know the faces the nineteen eighties
Just with Kinseko and.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Maguire themselves like the decades Of, The a's they're all their. Own,
stories yes and.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
That's interesting some are great and some aren't you exactly
and then now this ultimate finish here of them. Leaving,
town oh what a Great Nomination. Jason, STEWART yeah i
almost have to say in. First, place, no no that is. First, place, yes,
yes great.

outside Of, the cubs which already Won The, world Series
and i've already broke it down with other people About.
The browns there's no comparison about about how that's the
word again. Outside it sure.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
It could be described as a horror documentary for considering
how bad it's been For.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
THE lions i do Think the lions are a great
a great team to do a docuseriies on it is.
Very relevant it is very now right because if they
wouldn't have done what they done in the last two,
three years you probably wouldn't want to know About.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
The lions imagine all. The Problems barry sanders retirement is
a big one of just what. HAPPENED there i wondered
if there'd be enough to carry in, the eighties, but
heck You Had billy simms for. A while that would
be that would. BE interesting i don't know if it
rises to the level Of the a's and the drama
of what. It is, But, Still eric Eric, and jackson

Speaker 9 (23:36):
The nineties i'll.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
Tell you could do one With, the braves going Back,
to Milwaukee, To Atlanta, hank aaron everything, with it the
Seventeen Eighty, superstation braves and then to, your point getting
To the braves rotation and all of the years of
winning the division and only coming away from That One.
WORLD series i think that there WOULD be i think

(23:59):
there would be an enough to. Support it Not Every
Major league baseball team. HAS enough i think With the
braves you could. FIND enough i think that's a. Good
suggestion there's. Enough there they didn't win a lot until the,
nineteen nineties and then when, they won they just didn't, win, Enough.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Right they didn't live it up to. THE expectation i
would Watch a. Braves docuseries i'm, Sitting here, I'M like
i wanna.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Watch that do you have a team did?

Speaker 3 (24:21):
YOU nominate i DIDN'T because I think, jason wins to
be honest, With you so, FOR.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Me i play for bronze. Or silver why? Do?

Speaker 3 (24:28):
It right there is no, Right Now like i'm racking,
my brain there really is no other TEAM that i
think would fill a docuseries the Way the. A's, WOULD
now I think i mentioned to you this the, Other
DAY like i would like to See a clippers docuseries
because of everything that Happened With donald sterling into Now With.

(24:49):
Steve balmer but that would be, For me and THAT'S what.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
I don't think that would be. THAT bad i think
there would be part of the problem With the celtics
is they won. SO much i think we would rather
actually see one about a. Using, team right maybe it
would just be such a doubt or Like the, lions
one that would be like all right.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
After, a, While, right No and ei there was a thirty,
for thirty but it's like it's not, the SAME like.
I want i would want to see. IT visually i
would want to have it dissect a little bit more
BECAUSE the tv show was awful that the, clips clipped
whatever it was, IT was i didn't finish it because
it was. Not accurate it was a DRAMATIZATION and i
couldn't stop laughing at the way They Casted, blake GRIFFIN
so i couldn't even take. It seriously AND so i

(25:27):
would want a more serious approach. To it, and yeah
maybe it would be more than Just for.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Clipper fans peter tweets and he'd like to see a
documentary ABOUT the ucla men's the college basketball team And
the connecticut women's. Basketball team, oh okay that would be
interesting to See the. YUKON rise i don't know how much.
There is there really wouldn't be Anything Pre. Gino oriama
that's the only thing is this documentary Of the celtics
is starting in the, nineteen FIFTIES but i think the

(25:54):
Rise of yukon and what they did it just there
wouldn't be as much prior, to that especially because the
women's game really didn't really didn't become substantial until the mid.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
Nineteen eighties do you know If the celtics doc qu
series whatever is going to go all the way till
their MOST recent.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
I would have to, THINK so I mean i that
will be the only reason. For. It yeah now there's
still stuff like they're they're putting in Stuff With. Joe,
missoula now like in the, first piece You See, joe
missoula you see, Them practicing but it's also about. The
history Ashton's At, North. Carolina ashton Welcome to Cavino and
rich what's, Your, RECOMMENDATION.

Speaker 10 (26:27):
Hey dB, A monthy i'll do a great job filling
in for. THE guys i just want to, say that
thank you. Very much it's.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Very, nice, Yeah.

Speaker 10 (26:35):
YEAH no a THING that i would like to say
is almost essentially for the SAME reasons, dB said Is
The la rams just for the, sheer fact, you know
MOVING from La To saint louis and then, you know
being pretty decent and moving BACK. To la i'd like
to just see how, you know the fans took, all
that and, you know documentaries.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
On them there's also history With the rams going back
far enough where you would. HAVE stuff i don't know
if the people. Have seen lewis would love to see.
The documentary but, but yeah, there there there, would be
there would be. Enough there Trips In, Las Vegas trip
welcome In the Camino and Rich On Fox. Sports, radio
hey thank you for taking.

Speaker 7 (27:14):
My call this is could be.

Speaker 9 (27:16):
THE best i want.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
To know you're calling? Your? Shot trip are you calling your?
Shot here this says this.

Speaker 9 (27:23):
Is funny this Is.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
From.

Speaker 9 (27:24):
Moncy oh as MUCH as I sent Cavino and rich
food all, the time how are you always there to
be there when the food?

Speaker 1 (27:33):
GETS there I think i think we just have.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
A connection i didn't know it Was you trip that's.
Sending food he's recently just sent pizza and you know you're.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Miss that when was that a couple?

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Of, DAYS yeah i was like a couple of, days ago.

Speaker 9 (27:48):
And then to a golf run and then and then
previously she. Was there and THAT'S why i always said
shee PIZZA because i know she's. A vegetarian.

Speaker 7 (27:57):
THAT'S right i.

Speaker 9 (27:57):
Pay attention, He, Does, TRIP yes.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
I know rich, was, like oh there's cheesy. Garlic bread
you can have some. Of THAT and i, Was, like
rich there's a cheese Pizza that, I'm, EATING like i
don't need this inside of.

Speaker 10 (28:09):
Garlic bread.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
I'm good they sent. Cheese pizza, thank you, Thank you
god bless.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Thank you oh that was the worst recommendation of. A
sportsman by, the way, so far we could do a
docu series.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
On pizza wait do we even Get to trip's main? Point, There, Okay.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Danny danny Is in danny is in the state home
to the Picture. Of march Danny's. In iowa welcome to
give you a Non. Rich, danny.

Speaker 8 (28:42):
Hey not. Pretty much i'm Actually, from kancity.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
But You're in iowa?

Speaker 7 (28:47):
Right?

Speaker 1 (28:47):
Now? Right yeah have you seen the Picture That iowa
sam has put that Sent To jason STEWART and i from. His, VACATION.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
Yeah i don't.

Speaker 9 (29:00):
Pretty, ACTIVE yeah, I agree i, love IT but i
was just kind of.

Speaker 8 (29:06):
REAL quick i think a good one would be From
The kansity Monarchs With satchel Page And Jackie robinson, buck
O'Neill to The Kans city as To The Kansas City,
Royals Jackson, George Brett pulse flo or to now With
the Royals With. Bobby waitt i'll tell.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
You, what Danny and i'm going To give danny a
tip of. THE cap i don't think it rises to
the level of. The a's BUT when i was thinking,
OF teams i was thinking of teams who would want
to see. Docuseries off AND then i was also thinking
of TEAMS that i would never want to see a.
Docuseries off and one OF those, i, THOUGHT well i
can Use The Kansas city royals as. An example would

(29:50):
Be Like pine Tyre And, george brett them Screwing the
cardinals out Of The world series in, eighty five a
Couple Of, world series, You Know world series win in the,
twenty teens and that's. About it but he laid the
Groundwork For Kansas city baseball as providing. Some history so
did you change? Your, Mind, NO no i think. THOSE
good i Think That the raiders is A good i'll

(30:11):
tell you another ONE that i, wrote down not to,
the LEVEL but i think it would have the ups
And downs. Louisville basketball and THE reason i say that
is because of what that. Program is but, my goodness
just to find out what went On during patino's, later
years with everything that went, on there and you know
there'd be some Excitement With, denny crum you got the Rivalry.

(30:32):
With kentucky you talk about, college basketball we had SOMEBODY. Mentioned,
UCLA yeah I, think, louisville like because you have to have. It,
span yes it can't just be like people COULD. Say, unlv,
well yeah that we've SEEN the unlv documentary and we
only really care about the late eighties and. Early nineties
like that. Doesn't Fit this celtics documentary is going to span,
seventy years so there are only a certain number of.

(30:53):
Sports Teams if i'm Sitting in cavino's chair, Right now
i'd be bored By a. Yankees one you can make
a fifty two episode docu series About, the YANKEES but
I think i would just kind of be like, all right. When's,
enough yeah no.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
Intrigue when it came TO the I agree yankees is
one that's like we don't. Need that we don't.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
NEED that I Mean al davis bringing out the Projector On, ling,
KIFFIN like i mean, you know like like, that's like
that's the stuff.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
We Want To steve hartman can be in.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
The, docuseries yes we did get. Some tweets, Somebody said
we've already got It From steve hartman every weekend Here
On Fox. Sports radio you know that he worked For.
The raiders, oh yeah he tells me that.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
EVERY time i believe he started With the raiders either
THE year i was born or the YEAR before i,
Was born so HE definitely, I.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Think no it was much earlier. Than that it was nineteen.
EIGHTY four i think he STARTED because i think it
was the year after they Beat the seahawks in the
EIGHTY Three Afc, championship game so which ended up being nineteen,
eighty four but THE point i thought it was.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Eighty eight so THAT'S why i, WAS like i think it's, But,
Anyway yes i'm fully aware that he definitely works For.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
THE raiders. I Know Isaac Lounkhan Isaac loon krohn can
probably give us the. Exact number isaac's here with the
Latest Of steve hartman's start With. The Raiders but casey
Tweets In, arizona cardinals they moved a lot and they,
Always stunk so there's a there's a good way of.
Doing it remember they were For The. Phoenix cardinals they

(32:20):
Were The phoenix cardinals for like, Three Years.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Saint louis cardinals and even Before the. Chicago, cardinalis yeah
That's what.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Casey, mentioned yah you.

Speaker 5 (32:27):
Used to play in An old.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Should ask them for a vacation photo. And, compare right

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Should do that is That what? Iowa say is that what?

Speaker 2 (33:38):
You, said well not many people Vacation, in iowa so
their their photos might outshine sixty.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Six Percent, OF well i should say one hundred Percent
of Cavino and rich Are. In mexico they're in just
different Spots. IN mexico I think spot Went to Hawaii
and danny maybe doing. A staycation I think.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
I'm guessing Coveno and rich would get. The, ASSIGNMENT yes
i think that's the joke in this entire THING that
i Don't think sam was quite picked.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Up yet get.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
The assignment show me your. VACATION spot i thought you just.

Speaker 1 (34:08):
Wanted, the weather THAT'S all. I thought i just wanted
a Feel. Of iowa, and honestly you've delivered it more
than you could ever.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
HAVE dreamed i think BY not i think not. OVERTHINKING
it I think i delivered and THEN some.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
I actually i think that's. That's true here are some
of the comments for those that are just. Joining us
it's been a theme throughout the Day of We Asked
iowa sam last week to send us a Picture from
iowa as he was back home visiting family honoring his
late Grandmother with sam spoke at, or Service and sam
waited twenty four hours and took that time to then

(34:41):
send us the backyard of his girlfriend's place with a
shed with, some marks different types, of grass it was,
worn out a, fire pit a basketball hoop that was
knocked over so gently see the base, of, It, yes
anti and then the neighbors shed in, the background all
on a. Cloudy day we've gotten a lot. OF responses

(35:03):
I mentioned wisconsin, Being Mentioned, jeff czario great comic, comedy writer,
snow remnants, broken backboard backside, of, neighbors fence, power lines,
zero geography barren, Oak trees roddy shed in better shape
than anything. Around it i'm going With, southeast Wisconsin Maybe.
Racine county he, was close he. Was close but it's

(35:25):
in the great State. Of iowa that is where. It is,
someone else, Someone else what Did they what did? They
costponse what did? THEY say? I forgot and somebody replies,
Is like i'm trying to. Keep tracks, somebody, said like
that's where you would get a kidney likes there in.

(35:45):
That backyard that would be. The spot daniel tweeted in
saying it looks like every picture of a startup company
that makes. It. Big, TRUE yeah i, like. That elf
that's every backyard in every county Seat. In indiana, my
goodness just, great, SPORTS degan a great place to play

(36:07):
wiffle ball as. A kid it would have, to be absolutely.
ALL right i keep learning MORE as i look. At
it i'm looking at it right NOW and i count seven.
Power lines very subtle part of the picture of the
power lines in. The, background yeah the picture wouldn't be
the same.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Without those gotta, have power gotta have, telephone lines, you
know and all that?

Speaker 1 (36:27):
The internet do we HAVE The jj reddick cut from?
Last night how long? Is it, Sam oh let's, play
it go.

Speaker 10 (36:34):
FOR it i think.

Speaker 11 (36:35):
It was a very low level communication game.

Speaker 10 (36:39):
For.

Speaker 11 (36:39):
Our, TEAM yeah i don't think being shorthand is an
excuse for how we played. Basketball tonight it's gonna be a.
Good team you want to win IN, the nba you
gotta you gotta do the. Hard stuff we could even
pass to. Each, other hey we can enter our offense
running the ball screens literally at. Half, court yeah that's
gonna end up in. A turnover i, DON'T know i
don't know what. We're doing i'm going to say.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
This quickly we started the show with kind of we
feel it's the End For. Tiger woods after he erupted,
HIS achilles i felt like LAST Night jj reddick really
became the coach Of, the Lakers. No lebron he the
way that he speaks is. Very powerful he's a very very.
Good speaker and just to put his team on blast
in the first Game without lebron in a loss To,
the nets who've won just twenty. Two games tip of

(37:21):
the CAP To. Jj, Reddick yeah i'm.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
With you they shouldn't have lost. That GAME and i
told you he's speaking from a point of embarrassment because
HE'S like i can't believe we just lost this game
To The. Brooklyn nets you should not have lost. The
game and even if you're, short handed like, you said,
he said you have to do the. Hard things he
means the. Little things they were trying to cut corners
and he called them out, on IT and i.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Liked it after the loss To The, boston celtics if
you're saying that We're, in boston We're, in brooklyn you
want to leave one. On one THEY left oz one,
to two yep, and so and you're not going To
have lebron here for a. Little while so a tough schedule.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Coming.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Up yeah tip of the CAP To jj reddick and
a tip of the Cap To iowa sam In The
great state Of, oh Yeah, She's Manzi i'm Damns known
