Speaker 1 (01:49):
Hot poo.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Pool Holl's probably gonna be one of those guys that
what all said and done, we'll look at as a
manager as well.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
I know he was in the running for a few gigs.
One of the best of our lifetime.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Now, gonna wrap up your phone calls. If you could
do a one on one I Show Speed versus Joey Chestnut.
That's the viral story today. I Show Speed makes all
these videos on YouTube YouTube, and he's challenging Joey Chestnut
because Joey Chester has to go. So he wants to
see where he sizes up. Who would you be interested
(02:22):
in seeing where you size up? Or just to see
how good they really are in person. It's not like
you have any intention on beating them, but just to
feel or experience, Like there's some maniacs out there that
would love to feel a heavyweight punch to the gut.
I'm not one of them, no, but but there are
maniacs would be like, I want to see what Deontay
Wilder's right hand feels like.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Not me, Yeah, I'm not one of those guys.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
So I say, like, for me, it's Steph Curry because
I would like, yeah, let's play horse, just so I
could see how insanely disgusting this dude is in person.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Because when he's just shooting around at.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
The gym, you see how he shoots with the elite
of the elite defending him right at the gym. There
are times where I don't think Steph misses a shot.
So that's a great answer. The chestnut one is funny
because you're right. You want to see, like, if I'm
a slob in my most slobby slob moments, this guy
could still put down five times as many hot dogs
as me. It could be it anyone's professional just to
(03:15):
see how. I want to see how good these guys
really are. You tell me you want to hear my ego?
My ego is my amigo? Want to hear my ego?
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Talk real quick? You just say, here we go.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
When some Gibbroni says, hey, will you be on my podcast?
Let's say it's just some comedian Gabbroni. You want me
to be on your podcast? And then I wanted And
then I start doing like broadcasting circles around him just
to show off a little bit. I take over the
whole show. But yeah, that's that's how you do it.
Buddy man, Look at you. Why do you tell everyone?
What do you tell everyone? What do you tell everyone else?
(03:44):
What you said off the air? What did I say?
You're saying you were hearing how you could hang with
adult film star.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I was thinking it, though, but I didn't say you
read in my mind. All right, let's say how to
Josh in Ohio.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Josh, there's a there's a couple of stories going on
about regular people with the pros.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Man?
Speaker 4 (04:03):
So will I will never claim to be a beast
in the weight room my comfort level. I could probably
bench press three sets of the bar with twenty five
town on each. But I would love to just spot
Mark Henry, the World sharks Man, to see what his
comfort level is.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
You know.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Yeah, it's a great one. It's a really cool answer.
In fact, Mike, who runs his place, will be here later.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
He said.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
He did say I'd love to arm wrestle the strongest
man alive, just to oh hawk Jason, Mike, I don't
love you know, Mike was an extra in Over the
Top in nineteen eighty five. Yeah, he said he'd love
to just experience that, just to feel the strength, you know,
to see where he sizes up.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Either Mike turns his Dodger hat backwards.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Watch out.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh yeah, Denny, you're a strong guy. You're you're a
big guy. I know you love when people call you
a big guy. Imagine imagine being on the line of
scrimmage opposite like Trent Williams, and he had just tossed
around like a rag doll that see, I would do that.
I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't mind taking that type of hit.
(05:07):
I'm not taking a punch from Tyson Fury. But if
you said, rich you're a defensive lineman, all, I'm six
ft one hundred and ninety five pounds.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
I would love to try to.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Penetrate the offensive line that like a Trent Williams is on,
he would take you with one hand.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Fling you.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I would love to, honestly, I'd be okay with that
with pads On, Would you let someone like that fling it?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Just to say, I don't know, man.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
The moral of the story is we undressed me, of course,
the greatness you know, and we sit there on our
couch and speculate and point our fingers and bro I
saw a UFC dude.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I forget who it was.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
It was a viral clip where he broke to you know,
remember how Bo Jackson would break a bat over his
helmet and snap went over his knee. This dude snapped
two bats in a hold. Some UFC guys like two bats.
I was about imagine what he could do to your
your arm. I was at my daughter's softball practice the
other day and just for fund me and one of
the other days it's cranked up the softball machine where
(06:03):
you were smelling the rubber burn from those wheels. We
had the softball machine going at seventy five and we
did the calculations based on how far we were. It
was the equivalent of one hundred mile an hour baseball pitch.
The minute the ball goes in the machine, you have
to immediately make a decision.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
All right.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
I got a funny and then you realize, like, wow,
guys are doing this in the big I got a
funny working of decisions. I got criticized. I even got
called out. I got called out for this. I'm like, dude,
I could totally pepper Jenny Finch any day of the week,
you know, shorten up, shorten up on the bat and
just beep, beep beep. And Rich called me out. She
was on our show one time. She's like, yeah, right,
and I'm like, yeah, I probably can't, but I would
love to try that because it feels less dangerous.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
She let's go.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
She would make you want to see. Yeah, she wouldn't
make it, but you would love to see, how of course? Right,
all right, how great are you rich back to a
hard hit in the NFL. I'd love to lead you
with a pass Garoppolo style to the middle of the field.
Have Derwin James hit you. Oh, I want to see
what that feels like. Or let Mike Tyson hit you
(07:04):
one time in your shoulder as hard as he can.
Oh man, Yeah, these are these are things you know
what now. Chris Long was on a podcast. He was
I think it was bustling with the boys who I'm
a fan of. They I went virals what I was
talking about before about He was saying he'd love to
tackle or feel what it's like to hit Scott It.
It was a great thought from a former player, he said.
Chris Long was saying, when tackling Marshaw Lynch, he remembers
(07:28):
it felt like his framework and bones were like quick creep,
like he was just concrete. Like trying to take down
Marshall Lynch, he was like a brick wall. And then
he said, like a guy like Michael Turner on the
Falcons always felt like you were trying to like move
a big bowling ball like a like a wrecking He
bounce off you like a heavy bone and he's like
you wonder those guys wonder I wonder what it's like
to tackle that guy or match up with this guy.
(07:49):
Skatabo was the one he was thinking about, and Adrian Peterson.
But again, these guys are maniacs, right, so I can
imagine that I would never sign up for that. But
what comes to mind for you? Bob in York, PA?
What's up, Bob?
Speaker 5 (08:03):
PI?
Speaker 6 (08:03):
Guys good the afternoon.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Hey, Bob, I was thinking.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
I was thinking about your premise and I changed it
in my head a little bit. You can pay to
get up close and see professional athletes. I was thinking
about what a great experience would be to play around
the golf with someone like Charles Barkley for Seth Curry.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Oh, like one of those guys that like, you're not
quite sure how good they are because they're not pros,
but they're like, you know that.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
That's a great answer. That's fine.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
You know someone that golfson takes a series could probably
hang I bet a dB could hang with those dudes.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
No, what I thought you could hang with like a Barkley.
Speaker 7 (08:40):
Think I could hang with Barkley. Stuff's pretty good. I
don't think I could hang with staff. So you would
embarrass yourself. I would hope not. I've played in a
few pro ams before, which is the day before a
PGA Tour event, and the experience that I was going
to say was we would play down at Tory Pines
in San Diego in advance of that event, and Rodney Harrison,
(09:00):
former Charger safety you know, Patriots, was in our group.
So there were Charger fans nobody really cared about except
Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson or you know, the other
star players, but there were fans that were following us
because Rodney was playing in our group, because they were Chargers.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Our favorite, our favorite Fox Sports radio guy.
Speaker 7 (09:19):
Well that's the funny, Rodney Harrison, they wanted to stick around,
so your shots were actually being watched by us, you know,
like other people who were there in attendance. May have
been a group of twenty people following, but people wanted
to watch him play, so in turn, they were watching
us play. And it was a little bit more nerve
wracking than you would realize, and because normally pro ams
(09:40):
don't have like the full gallery around. But yeah, there's
there's a little something to that.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Was it distracting? When can you not screamed? Out check
aust you know what you made me think of? Well,
he was telling that story, a great story, by the way, DBA.
I was thinking of other things in our world of
broadcasting where I felt this and I've noticed this as
a rock fan. TB loves his golf, I love my rock.
I felt this way so many times where I'm like,
all right, that's why I broadcast and back to the
(10:05):
drawing boarder. Continue practicing, man, because this is where it's at.
I've seen excellence, and I've seen it with Eddie Van Halen,
Like I was at a sound check and I saw
this dude just doing his thing, and you're like, you're
watching a master at work, and that's why they are
who they are. That was insane. And then it's unexpected people.
I know he has a good reputation, but you wouldn't know.
Mark Schremonti is the lead guitar player for Creed and
(10:29):
he's known for being great. But dude, when you see
him in person, you're like, oh man, this dude is
nasty musicians. I was actually going to bring up that category.
I don't know how familiar people are. I think a
lot of dudes may have been exposed to him on
The Howard Stern Show. Charlie Pooth. Charlie Pooth is an
artist that has perfect pitch. Here's music plays it sees
(10:53):
it in colors like Charlie Pooth is one of those
guys that on the spot. He was recently on fallon
and he like made a song out of like gibberish. Right, well,
they did the they did the the what was it?
Keep it one hundred or something with the fake YouTube sketch.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
It was so good. He has comedic shops as.
Speaker 7 (11:08):
Well, but this may have been a little different, wasn't
was this the song?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Yeah? This was the song. Yeah, he built a song.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
But the guy he could sit down right now and
with perfect pitch, you could be talking and he's like
you're talking in the key of F, the ky OFG,
and then he could just play anything at any time.
And I've seen him up close and it's like remarkable.
They really who would you like to experience that from?
In sports?
Speaker 1 (11:33):
In life?
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Whatever, Kevin, you're on the show will wrap it up.
And again this is based on a story where I
show Speed has challenged Joey Chestnut, but not because he
thinks he could beat him, just to see how great
he is and see where he's.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Stand and the results.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
The results were he scarved down five hot dogs in
three minutes. He gave Joey Chestnut two minutes to just
sit there, and in one minute Chestnut eight eleven hot dogs.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
He's the goat. It's so stupid, but he really is,
like that great what's up?
Speaker 3 (11:59):
keV?
Speaker 4 (12:00):
I would say I would have to go with the
great Tom Tom Brady Tom Brady because I'll tell you
right now, he'll get out the booths and he'll he'll
take that rateerst quarterback position like no tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
He was like, Tom's that.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Quarterback you know, keV.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
I'm glad you brought up Tom Brady because there was
a quote. It wasn't a quote, it was just something
he said, well quote right, yeah, Well, I'm saying it
was just something he said in an interview that stuck
out to me and a question was everything along the
lines I'm saying, He's not it's not like a famous quote.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
It's something that he said.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
A quote.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
I mean, is everything you say a quote? I believe?
So really, then you've you've made a lot of quotes.
You're about to say, I've said some stupid sh yeah, stuff.
I mean, let me quote all the dumb things you've said,
and you can quote me on that.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I'm just saying it's not something where like you know,
and you could quote me on that heard to be
a quote, you have to follow it up with random
conversation That stood out to me. And the question was
he was on some podcasts and it was like, man,
you know, Tom, you were picked, uh, you know, solo
in the draft, and you know, no one had any
expectations from me.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Man, how do you explain that?
Speaker 2 (13:09):
And he said something along the lines of, you know,
I was never to Brady. I was never the fastest
guy obviously. I was never the guy with the strongest arm.
I was never the you.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Know, biggest guy. He goes.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
I think people see the combine picture and and uh,
you know, they they make their assessments, and they see
the scores, they make their assessments, but there was never
any measurement for my competitiveness. And I think people always
underestimated my competitiveness. And that's the reasoning as to why
it's always such a shock. Like that guy, he was
pretty average when it came to everything, but when it
(13:45):
came to his competitive nature, he was above and beyond everyone.
I'm I'm a firm believer that that is the one
blind spot in assessing players in any There's no stat
that there is intangible. It's the most important in life,
and there's no way you could assess it no matter
what you do. You could sit down with someone and
they could tell you and you'd give you a song
(14:07):
and dance on. I just want to win, coach. I'm
the most competitive guy. Trust me, you can't. It's it's unmeasurable.
So when you see guys that were late round picks
in any sport and you're like, man, how did they
How did someone miss this guy? They didn't miss him.
It just you can't can't measure that. You can't analytics,
saber metrics, whatever the system is, you can't measure. And
if someone ever underestimates that, I'll at Tom Brady. Man,
(14:29):
he's got a lot to trove. Quote them, quote them now,
it's a quote, yeah, speaking the quotes.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Hello, big mic who runs this place?
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Yeah, hello, gentleman.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Like, how the Dodger's doing? You look like you just
got out of the weight room training them. Yeah he
just taped, Uh, he just tape show his ankle.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Yeah, you gotta have the logo, got to represent I
love it all right.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
So Big Micah runs his place, comes in here every
week and he gives us words of wisdom. And these
words of wisdom I take home and I tell my kids.
I teach my kids Mike's I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Yeah, And when I say them out loud, that makes
it a quote.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Okay, quote them?
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Uh Now, So what you gotta do is you just
have to repeat Mike's words of wisdom verbatim, word for word,
verveta verbatim means word for word, and you want a prize.
It's that simple. See if you could uh learn something today,
take it away, Big mic.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
It's time for the guy that runs this place.
Speaker 7 (15:25):
Just for clarification, guys, Big mic does not run this place.
He is not in charge of everything. He has no
power over really anybody here. He does not run this place.
Speaker 8 (15:34):
It's Big Mike's words of wisdom on a Wednesday.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
True intelligence is using what you know to make it
look like you knew it all along.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
That's a goodie. You want to give it to us
one more time, Mike.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
Or one more time. True intelligence is using what you
know to make it like you knew it all along.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Wow, Hey, repeat that word for word, word for word
and boom, you win. You win a CNR on FSR
turbo ball. So if you won in the past, you
could win again because these are brand new, upgraded, updated,
They got a little more weight to them.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
I like them a lot better. The turbo balls.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Can't wait to get the inventory in, but we have
our samples in their dopes. So you know your chance
to win now eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
You know I said I need a little more girth,
get we need a little more weighty, a little little
more Yeah, so new and improved. All right, let's uh,
let's go back to our previous conversation. Just to wrap
up some of these phone calls. We'll get a winner
that will do Midweek Major. So hey, love hanging with
you guys, Chad and Missouri. Based on that Joey Chestnut
(16:47):
story and all the conversations we had, who would you
want to be up close in person with just to
size up how dominant they are?
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Chad, Yeah, I'm just sitting here playing billiards and I.
Speaker 7 (17:02):
Was thinking about Eprin rayos Man, like you think you're
pretty good at playing.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
Pool, and so you uh, you know, you're hanging out
with your buddies, having a couple of drinks. You think
you can make anything. You get to watch this guy.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Wow, yeah, dude, don't run the tattle on you. You'll
never even get a shot. Who's that woman that was
on our show back at black with a Black Widow?
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Well legends and you know what, I'm surprised, And one said,
just to see Wimbin Yama, just to see you can't
even fit in a frame and a photo with that guy, right,
it's like the top of your head and the rest
of his body, Like just to size yourself up against
what might be our future. Goat now we're in the
middle of the World Series. I remember at an MLB
(17:42):
All Star FanFest one year, they had a rendering of
how big Randy Johnson would look sixty feet and six
inches away from you, Like there was a batter's box.
They replicated the field and it was like not just
a cardboard cutout, it was almost like statuesque of Randy
and just you being in that batter's.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Box and you were like, oh my god, like he
looks so.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Big, it's so close, and thinking that he was whipping
that left hand that's why they have these things that
fan experiences where you could put your hand, your handprint
in like Michael Jordan's handprint. You know, you could size
yourself up and see why they are who they are,
why you made your choices. Who hasn't been to some
NBA event or a game where they have on display
(18:25):
like here shack sneaker and you're like, oh my god,
that's how big his foot is.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Jesus, you can sleep in it. Yeah, in the shoe.
That's where the old little old lady lips. Yeah, that
shoe and shacks shoe.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
All right, So while we get the rest of your
phone calls, let's get a contestant for Mike's Wednesday Words
of Wisdom. I think we have one, right, Danny g Yeah.
Let's go to Mississippi. Matt, Matt, Hey, Matt Big. Mike's
still here, so Mike has to give approval if you
win here, if you win here, So let's.
Speaker 9 (18:53):
Go, all right, we go.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Intelligence what you know to make it look like you
knew all along?
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Oh nope, so close.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Sorry, just missed it, dude, I wrote it down as
he said it. You missed it by one word, all right?
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox again. You can
play again next week, but appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
You gotta get it word for word.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
By the way, I did have an opportunity to arm
wrestle Mark Henry once, but he wanted a CE note
and I was out of cash. Oh note. Yeah. He
told me he would arm wrestle me for one hundred
dollars and I didn't have any cash.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
You know, we rich and I I'm not saying they're
the epitome of greatness, but we had Oasis on our
show one time, and we're part of their DVD. I
don't know if you knew that was.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Your arm wrestled them.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
No, but we said, hey man, we got a guitar,
you mind playing something for us because we just want
to hear a little Maybe I don't really want to know.
They go, not unless you got one hundred thousand dollars.
We got shot down and I chuckled like they were joking.
No mate, for real. And that was a hell of
an interview.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
And then the.
Speaker 10 (20:07):
Opposite of that really quick he did this for you
guys this show as well as my morning show back
in the day. Why Cleft Jean would just carry his
guitar around everywhere with.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
Yeah you might.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Some people are willing to show their skills and other
people are like yeah, yeah, right, all right, so we'll
wrap up your phone calls and we'll find a winner.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
All right. Mike's Wednesday Words a Wisdom.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Plus Midweek Major the biggest stories in sports and pop culture.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
We do that next.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, total random note when it talks about witnessing greatness,
like on a selfish level, don't you wish you can
get a haircut from like one of the best.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Just to see what they could do. You come out
looking like.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Zoolander or something like, oh man, I didn't know I
could not, or like a real professional interior designer and okay,
that's I know. All of a sudden, your pad is
like super delisent. We're oh man, that's why you're one
of the best. We are in the middle of redoing
our backyard and I think it looks sweet. But there
are times where I'm like, if you had unlimited money
and like, yeah, if you have like property Brothers or
(21:09):
that Miagi style back if a chip and Joanna Gaines

like pros versus Joe's right, Oh you know who used
to host that? Who's the guy that loves us? I

full eight minutes before we hand things over to the
number one and only host of this segment. Let's roll
the two big red love dice to the main studio.
Oh four, I rolled the four.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Let's see what route now a ritual this is to
see who gets first take.
Speaker 8 (23:22):
All right?
Speaker 2 (23:22):
He rolled a four four alright on one dice, alright,
ready on a roll off.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Two five five? All right, Rich Goss.
Speaker 10 (23:36):
All right, ladies and gentlemen, the most famous person besides
you d Bloom from Scotch Plains, New Jersey spotty boy,
Hi guys, Hello.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
How you doing today?
Speaker 3 (23:47):
All right?
Speaker 1 (23:48):
All right, let's jump right in.
Speaker 12 (23:51):
Jalen Brown familiar, yes, all right, getting clowned on social
media over his recent brush with Nick star og Anenobi's jersey.
So in a viral video, the Celtic star can be
seen bumping his head against the jersey and a clear
black mark from his head rubs off onto the jersey,
leading fans to clown him on social media. So Brown
(24:15):
had some fun with the incident on his twitch stream,
leaning into the fact that maybe his hairlines needs a
little work, that he might need to go to Turkey.
He was talking about booking flights of Turkey and even
I don't know if this was real, but left a
voicemail for Lebron, who himself has had some hairline issues
over the years, trying to get some advice from Lebron.
So people have also gone back and found incidents where
(24:36):
he's done this with other players, where he's brushed against
them and you can see dark marks left on this jersey.
So he's leaning into it on his twitch stream. Maybe
he could use some of that, you know. Three hundred
million dollar extension money he got to pay for his
hair transplant.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
That weaker.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Major.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
I think this is major, majorly cringe and awesome and
all the things.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
That's like imagine having a game warn Jersey by someone
that guarded him.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Yeah, I got value, I.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Got the uh, I got the soul glow top is
it topics of you know.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
In the TV and radio.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Broadcasting way, dumb there's a spray that covers those little spots.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
A lot of these dudes get their heads painted.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Honestly, I don't know what the process is called, but
when they're getting that lineup, it's painted.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
Yeah, Rich, tell us what is it called? What do
you have done?
Speaker 12 (25:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:24):
How do you paint your hairline? Paved? You know what?
Speaker 13 (25:26):
Let me let me get you. Just thank you, Sam,
you're so glow. Let a chi throw. Is it midweek
or major?
Speaker 1 (25:38):
You both? I said, already, it's major, said it's major.
Cringe all right. I think it's awesome.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
I think it's major because I think we need to
normalize the fact that guys, it's okay to try to
look your best. Women are always dying their hair. Women
got a million tricks up their sleeves. They don't look
like that.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
I saw. I'm gonna get you, sucka.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
They take their legs off, their eyelashes off, they take
all He looked totally different.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Guy dyes his hair.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
It's a big deal. You know, it got on the jersey.
It's a little embarrassing. It's a funny story. But he's
not the only guy doing Rudy Giuliani dripping hair.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
All those dudes are doing it.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
They're all doing it. Just go to social media and
see it's funny. Though it's funny, it's embarrassing. I like
that he's leaning into it, knowning it all.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
Right.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Over to the World Series. A couple of stories there.
Speaker 12 (26:26):
If tickets weren't expensive enough, concessions just as crazy, so
Dodger Stadium unveiled a slew of new concessions just special
for the World Series. On top of course they're already
expensive ones. Some of these special ones include, uh, surf
and turf, nachos, bone marrow tacos, are pistachio cream sunday.
(26:49):
I imagine that's very similar to like a Dubai choccol bar.
This all sounds hold on this no palette next to me?
A Tomahawks steak platter for going for a between whopping
one hundred and fifty to two hundred dollars, so it
includes a chimmy chery sauce. I know you love chimmy
cherry rich fingerling potatoes. Fans actually say it's a pretty
(27:11):
good deal considering if you went to a steakhouse how
much a Tomahawk stak would cost and the steak about
thirty two to forty ounces same.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
I think it might be a good deal.
Speaker 12 (27:21):
But yeah, people are talking either way Midweek or Major.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Listen, I'll be generous. I think it's major.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
You're in the World Series, you break out the big menu,
and anyone bitching about the prices of food.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
It's almost like come, it's like par for the course.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
If you're gonna spend hundreds and thousands of dollars or
tickets to the World Series and you're gonna be showing
off going on Instagram and TikTok.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
And like I'm here, I met the game. Guess what
you could? Boy? I saw they had a.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Dodger blue tortillas for something they were doing as well,
So like, listen, it's a once in a lifetime experience.
You're gonna spend money I think it's great. I think
it's a weak basel. Who do you think you are?
Speaker 13 (27:56):
Up?
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Buckstons really like Daddy Stacks and your Tomahawks steaks and your.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Bone Marrow tacos.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
The Dodger Dog's not good enough, regular tacos, a sausage.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
It's a baseball game. Get out of here. But no
one can afford anything, So everybody's dead.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Get out of my face with this. Well, a man,
a simple, You need a simple. They're like super fancy pants.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
That's why these.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Tickets are going to celebrities and people who aren't even
real fans.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Anyway.
Speaker 12 (28:22):
Well, speaking of that, over to my second story. So
as you know, the stars always come out for these
events Game four, no exception. Some of those people included
You may have seen Sidney Sweeney eating a hot dog.
It's I can show you it's the background on my phone. WHOA,
she was actually there with Christy Martin, who they have
that movie coming out about her soon. Lebron was there,
(28:43):
Brad Pitt was there, so many others, but people.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Who got some attention.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
Rich.
Speaker 12 (28:48):
I know you're gonna love this, and this is why
I brought up the story. Harry and Meghan Prince Harry
and Meghan Markle were there. Meghan Sussex whatever made an appearance,
but Dodgers fans not too thrilled.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
And I'll tell you why.
Speaker 12 (29:00):
I know you saw in game three on the screen
they highlighted Dodger's legend Sandy kofax Well. He was relegated
to the second row so Harry and Meghan could sit
in the front row. And also they bumped out Magic
Johnson who would move to the second row. So they
were like they were saying, these people are la royalty.
No one cares about this actual royalty mid weaker major.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
It took the words out of my mouth.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
This is major, majorly disrespectful f royalty.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
We don't live there.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
I don't understand the fascination with princes and kings and
queens and queens.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Yo to me, is that why you were at the protest?
Shut up?
Speaker 3 (29:35):
No, you.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
I don't believe in part.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
I don't believe in this ridiculous fascination with British Royalty.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
You know, Magic Johnson, take your seatback, bro. You know
who else take your seatback?
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Any one other than Harry and Meghan. Get the hell
out of here. You know what, give it to Jason Bateman,
that guy's there every day. Jerry O'Connell, how about our
pound Cherry O'Connor sa the mezzanine. Hey, you know what,
I think this is major because it's news to Rich.
Because the whole time Rich thought it was Carson Wentz.
He didn't know that was Prince Harry. Rich was like,
(30:10):
oh my god, I thought he had season ending surgery.
What's he doing at the game? Rich thought that was
Carson Wentz the whole time. I thought it was so yeah.
And you know what I saw major because Sandy Kofex
still got it even though he was sitting in a second.
I saw a clip of him staring at Megan Markle's
ass when she got us, and I said to myself.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, hey, good for him. I do the same thing.
Did you see Sidney Sweena and eating hot talk? I didn't.
Speaker 12 (30:32):
I'll squeeze it one more, Tom Brady.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Did you see the eating hot dogs?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Because even if you did it, I bet he did.
Speaker 12 (30:39):
Tom Brady joining the ranks of Peyton Manning and getting
into the production game. So Fox Sports, are you know
parent company investing in Shadow Lion, the entertainment and marketing
studio co founded by Brady, so the network will work
with the studio to produce original series, films, event programming,
and digital content that will span across not only sports,
but pop culture. Details of the deal haven't been made,
(31:03):
but the CEO of Fox says that they're planned to
be in the long haul with Brady. Partnership is set
to kick off with the documentary about Brady's alma Monter
University of Michigan. Brady says he's excited for this new chapter.
They're also going to partner with that flag football game
that's taking place next year in Saudi Arabia, so it
seems like they got a lot going on with that.
So it's something new from Tom Brady than we care major.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
I think it's major.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
Listen after football, A lot of these guys are very
clever and thought out about who they partner with. You said,
the Mannings have done this. I just finished the finale
of Chad Powers. The only thing I was mad about
was that there's only six episodes and that we have
to wait. They haven't even started or a confirmed season two.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
But listen, I.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
Love the idea of some of our favorite athletes venturing
off and entering the world of documentaries and comedies and partnerships.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
So listen. I'm a Tom Brady fan, so I think
it's cool.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Anything Tom Brady related as major and he needs to
go anything he says. You know, we listen to anything
he does intrigued by So yeah, and I think he's
the absolute definition of why people need an assistant.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
I drown in my schedule. I can't imagine how.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Kai has all these things going on but knows what
he's doing every day.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
It's amazing.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
What's his Outlookiously, God bless him. Lots of dots on
the Tom Brady calendar. Thank you, Spoddy, thank you.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Thanks guys.
Speaker 2 (32:22):

an update, dB, how are you man doing well?
Speaker 7 (32:26):

ad Scott Woodward.
Speaker 11 (33:48):
I get say right now, is not selected the next coach. Hell,
I'll let Donald Trump select it before I'll let him
do it. I don't know, but the Border super is
going to come up with a committee and they're going
to go find us a coach.
Speaker 7 (33:57):
LSU trying to replace the fired Ryan Kelly.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Guys. Back to you, that guy sounds like the dude
from water Boy.
Speaker 7 (34:05):
Yes, that's not catchin Louisiana drawl.
Speaker 11 (34:09):
I believe that we're gonna find a great coach. I'm
not gonna be picking the next coach, but I can
promise you we're gonna pick a coach, and we're gonna
make sure that dead coach is successful, and we're gonna
make sure that he is compensated properly, and we're gonna
put metrics on it because I'm tired of rewarding failure

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Like, coach, I can play put me in. He's just
such a such.

What professional athlete or celebrity musician you name it that
you would love to be up close and personal with,
just to see truly how dominant they are?
Speaker 1 (37:04):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Ron?
Speaker 5 (37:05):
Listen? I got I meant proud Syracuse grad. I was
living in New York City. I got three stories where
I went head to head with real athletes. He's crazy.
But I was at this lounge with my girlfriend and
I met in the bathroom line. I see this bat guy.
I'm like, hey, you look like David Wade. A minute,
you are David Wells. He was so cool he waited
in the line in the bathroom. So I went head
to head chopper shot. He drank Takila and Budwise, I'm
(37:26):
a Bud guy. All night I went chopper shot in
beer for Bear, me and my girlfriend. His Asian girlfriend
and I used a draw. We both did a million
shots and million Beer's coolest guy ever. But then another
that same summer, I was the celebrity golf tournament. All
the all the rangers were there, Darren Durkott, all they
all went up and then the screen first came out
and you smacked the ball into the screen like ninety
(37:48):
nine Pierre Laruche went up there and hit three oh one.
I went up. There's so much pressure on me, mm
six two, but I was working on. I hit it
three oh one. And who's the nephew Golden State Worris
at three to two? Uh, this guy's.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
Just bring up, big dude. And by the way, he
forgot to tell you the rest of the story. David
Wells went on to pitch a perfect game the next
next morning.
Speaker 7 (38:10):
Morning.
Speaker 2 (38:11):
Oh wow, again show you his greatness in Texas.
Speaker 1 (38:14):

Speaker 1 (38:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:18):
What's up?
Speaker 13 (38:18):
Man?
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Who would you want to go up against?
Speaker 5 (38:20):
All right, I'm no swimmer, but I'm not.
Speaker 6 (38:24):
I love the dobbin board all that stuff, but I wonder.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
Going against the horn of the human torpedo.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
Michael felt, Oh, I got Michael Phelps would make it?
Speaker 8 (38:34):
You would?
Speaker 13 (38:34):
He?
Speaker 1 (38:34):
Would look like like a shark or a fish. Imagine that. Yeah,
have you ever seen a human shark? Have you ever
seen like where you look like a marlin?
Speaker 2 (38:42):
He could wait while you were like ten feet away
from the wall.
Speaker 10 (38:46):
You'd have to give him. You'd have to get one
full lap of a lead. That would be cool to
see though. That's a funny one.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
That's a really good one. Great answer, Jason Tripp in Vegas.
Wrap it up? What's up?
Speaker 3 (38:55):
Trip?
Speaker 9 (38:56):
Hey guys, thanks taking my call. I got to actually
happened the first time I ever met doctor for Jay
when he shook my hands and I have a big
answer like grab me by my elbow. And then secondly,
I've been in on uh in an actual NASCAR with
a real driver wearing a fire suit and everything. After
four laps, I didn't know where I was. When we
stopped the car, I was completely lost and I had
(39:17):
no clue what it happened.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Yeah, Gause, you think, oh, you're just driving fast. No,
that's no more of that game. Thank you, Trip, great
story man. By the way, with the World Series tonight,
I made a prop bet it probably ill advised, but
Danny will love it. I got Mookie Bets multi home
run game. You're either jinxing him or waking him, and
Bucks wins nine hundred. Maybe give me some of that
(39:38):
since you stole own me money from me. Let's discuss
that tomorrow. From the Yankee Mets Bell Boy, enjoy the
World Series Game five. Enjoy your Love Is Blind reunion.
