the game, which makes the win are more impressive to me.

My thoughts are simple, man, I don't I'm not saying
that the Blue Jays were the better team. They lost,
but there was something about them that felt that way
to me. And when I got from the Dodgers is
regardless of the fight of the Blue Jays, they know
how to win and they were able to pull that off.
They just know how to win. And you just, yeah,

they got on and they fought, but the Blue Jays,
but the Dodgers knew how to get out of it.
I just think that the you have to give the
Blue Jays equal credit. Though as far as providing excitement,
excite fight. The ratings, the ratings weren't huge just because
it was the Dodgers. The ratings were huge because it
was the Dodgers versus a gritty, heart filled Blue Jays
team that took a Dodgers team that everyone expected to

in Game seven.

He shook on it here in the stadio December. We
made the bet in December before the season was popping.
Who was going to have the better season? The Mets

are the Yankees. And it was back and forth all
year until the very end when the Mets just continued
to collapse. If you remember, at one point I was
I got all cocky because the Mets maybe had like
a four game lead. And around that time, as part
of the story, when the Mets were doing well. Rich
said he wanted to change the bet, and I said.

He goes, no, we changed a bet when they were dead.
Even for every game over, it's another one hundred dollars,
and we shook on that. The Yankees end up beating
the Mets as far as record, and they had eleven
more wins. That means I won a thousand dollars from
the original bet and eleven hundred dollars from the additional

bet that this guy brought upon himself. I didn't want
to do it. I said, sure, whatever, dude, because Rich
is a gambling fool. So that means Rich Davis here
owes me twenty one hundred dollars and we've never resolved
this in the form of ninety four and sixty eight
for the Yankees and the Mets were eighty three and
seveny So I want my big giant check now. I

want to like an Ed McMahon sort of giant check
presented to me.
