You're listening to KPI AM six fortythe Bill Handles show on demand on the
iHeartRadio apps. Some of the verybig stories that we're covering. Stormy Daniels
is on the witness stand answering alot of prosecution questions sworn in. Do

(00:21):
you promise to tell the truth? You swear to tell the truth? Oh
god, yes, okay. DonaldTrump told her you remind me of my
daughter because you're smart, blonde andbeautiful. Reminds him of his daughter.
Oh boy, that's not sick,is it? We thought you were bod
Yeah, And now handle on thenews, ladies and gentlemen, here's Bill

(00:45):
Handle, and good good morning everybody. Bill Handle. Here. It is
a Wednesday, humpday, May eighth. As well. We're halfway through the
week, or we will be.At seven thirty, we'll be halfway through
the week. And we've got amore Stormy Daniel news. Oh good god,

(01:11):
some interesting news came out of it. We now know that Trump wears
boxers and not briefs. And didn'tknow that a question we always want to
ask. And matter of fact, let me start that question. Cono boxers
or briefs. I'm a boxer man. Boxers, Neil boxer briefs, Oh
boxer briefs, the can't make nothe yah, yeah, okay, fair

(01:36):
enough quick Hello to everybody, Amy, good morning, Hi boxers or briefs
okay, and good morning good morningyou too, boxers or briefs okay,
or you're looking at me like Ishould tell Okay, panties. Oh yeah,

(02:00):
it's a thing. It's a thing. My psychologists and I are dealing
with it right now. Don't saydon't say that word. It just there's
certain words that are not great ontheir own and are worse when you say
them. Thong, panties, I'mout. And one of the sidebar stories

(02:23):
and Amy, I don't know ifyou've heard that, is that you know
when I lost all my weight eighteenyears ago when I had bariatric surgery,
I lost a tremendous amount on myon my ass. I don't know if
you notice that I don't have muchof a butt as I walk around.
No one says anything, Well,I don't, and it's a lot of

(02:45):
weight there, so it's well, let me put it this way. It's
not firm. July fourth, Igo out and wear thongs and I just
paint my butt red white and blueand it flutters in a good wind.
You could give butt implants. That'sthe thing, you know. I could
yeah with yeah, at someone insomeone's garage with silicon. Yeah, I

(03:06):
could. That's enough personal stuff. It's like a like a surrand wrap package
of two chicken cutlets. I've seenyou naked? Sorry, yeah I have.
Yeah, No, you have seenme naked. That's true. Okay,
guys, we we we do havea lot of Stormy Daniels stuff.
I mean, even to the pointwhere the judge said, you know what,

(03:30):
maybe we want to go into wedon't want to go into such detail.
Uh, miss Daniels. Uh.Well, once people started pulling out
the popcorn, I think at uh, you know, putting pillows on their
lap. Yeah. Absolutely, themen started putting their hats on their lap.
Yeah I get that. Okay.Uh did I say hello everybody?

(03:50):
I think so, Hello Cono,Neil and Amy boope poo pee poop poop,
beep bum bum boot peep boo, peep boo, peep boo, peep
boo. You know, there arepeople who do talk shows around the country
that tend to be fairly private abouttheir private lives. Not me. I

(04:12):
don't care. I wear my underwearon my sleeves. Wow. All right,
guys, you ready to do iton this Wednesday morning. What a
weird start of the morning, isn'tit. You know you say that almost
every day, And that was forNeil, by the way, Yeah,
because it's my colonoscopy day, itis. Yeah, and you're working.

(04:38):
Yeah. Wow, when is yourcolony this afternoon? Oh so you must
be nice and feeling very light rightnow. Oh, but you want to
ask the doctor what the name isof the kalonoscope because they do. That's
Fred over there and this is George. You know, they nickname their scopes.

(05:00):
Did you know that? I didnot know. Yeah, I just
made that out. I just itsounded good. All right, George will
be entering me possibly, yes, okay, Oh that is you know,
that's not bad. You know. They do talk about the prep being the
worst part of it, and itis, you know, I mean,
you're they tell you be near atoilet. I don't even bother. Just
go outside garden hose works. You'llbe there for a few hours. But

(05:20):
the actual procedure they sort of knockyou out in my In my case,
it was say that by the way. Oh, that's right that I say
that. I didn't even notice.I said that. Wow, that's that
happens. You know, it's nobig deal. Con o'hill, you f
Yeah, And I have never heardno dudes came out. It just came

(05:44):
out. You're right, coblt doesthat like weekly. But I never heard
you do that. Yeah, Idon't know. I just I wasn't thinking
how unusual I'm doing the show withoutthinking. All right, let's do a
guy's handle on the news with Neiland Amy and me lead story, big
Big. The latest in the MiddleEast is the attacks on Rafa by Israel.

(06:09):
Israel is saying it's very limited.Sure actually as relative to a full
scale invasion of Rafa. They're sayingit's limited scope. In the meantime,
there are discussions being held in Cairoas we speak, getting reasonably close,
and the Biden administration getting more andmore pissed off at Israel. Just says

(06:30):
we're stopping ammunition shipments right now, sort of temporarily. At the same time,
Biden has said we're staunch allies ofIsrael, We're never going to walk
away. So they're playing a littlebit of chicken. Everybody around the Mideast.
So this story is fluid, asthey say, dynamic as hell.

(06:51):
Well, talk about some steamy testimony. You thought the stuff that Bill was
talking about a couple of minutes ago, huh nothing, adult film star story.
Daniels dished out the salacious details ofher alleged sexual encounter with former President
Trump in two thousand and six.Of course, she was on the witness
stand yesterday in the Manhattan courtroom. She talked about how they met at a

(07:15):
celebrity golf tournament and then what happenedwhen she went to Trump's hotel room in
Lake Tahoe, and some of thedetails were so explicit that the judge was
cutting Stormy off during her testimony. All Right, I'm going to do more
about of course, I'm going todo more of that at seven o'clock,
and we're going to dive into ita little bit deeper, so to speak.

(07:39):
Okay, let's move on seven o'clock, Stormy Daniels. There was a
couple of outbursts from the lawyers, right, They were like, objection,
have her slowed down? Please?Yes, very speak speak slowly, speak
slowly. Is that why they weretelling her to slow down? Yeah?
Yeah, please slow down. Loweryour voice, you lower your voice.

(08:01):
Yeah, and Trump's lawyers said, this man taking his favorite president, of
course, was Teddy Roosevelt speaks offsoftly and carry a big stick. Okay,
we could just go on and onwith that one. Let's do one
more before their break. The AnaheimCity Council has given its final approval to
Disneyland forward expansion plan. This ishopefully fingers crossed Amy expected dad new attractions

(08:26):
and of course, as everyone says, create jobs. Yeah, and this
one is. And this is wherethey're smart because the nine thousand construction jobs
at that Disneyland is saying is goingto occur is great. But construction jobs
end. And what Disneyland is saying, we're going to be bringing more than

(08:48):
forty five hundred operational jobs. Thatmeans new people there for ever if they
want to, until you know, they get starved to death on the minimum
wage. And for us it meansPandora Land, it means Frozen and Zootopia
Tangle, all kinds of fun stuff. Oh it sounds like a lot of

(09:09):
fun, it does. Yeah,I can't wait, God I have It's
been so many years since I've beento Disneyland. Neil and I have been
talking about going to Disneyland together.I want to take him, Amy,
I want to take him. Iwant to go. Let's do it.
Yeah, we'll do it. Ijust want to see him experience Disneyland again,
you know what, And we shoulddo a contest, a listener contest

(09:31):
along with it. Seeing a luckywinner will pay for my entrance to Disneyland
because it's so damn expensive. Thebest, the best bang for your buck
in southern California, Sir No,Stormy Daniel is okay. Another win for

(09:52):
Trump, at least in the shortterm. The judge presiding over Trump's criminal
case in Florida, That's the oneand where he's facing charges of keeping classified
documents at his mar a lago estapeafter he left office, has been indefinitely
postponed. It was supposed to starton May twentieth initially, and then there

(10:13):
was talk that it would start inJuly, but an order from the judge
yesterday suggested she is not likely toeven decide on a new trial date before
late July. Yeah, here isthe breakdown on this one. This is
a very conservative judge Trump appointee thatis clearly pro Trump and is giving the
defense every break and if it turnsout, by the way, if Trump

(10:35):
wins, it doesn't matter. IfTrump wins the election and is still going
on, he just shuts down theprosecution. If he is convicted, then
he just pardons himself. So that'san easy one. And she is making
sure that the case comes after theelection, and so she's pro Trump.
On the other hand, you haveTrump. You have Judge Mersham in New

(10:58):
York that's anti Trump, which iswhy the case is going on right here
right now. The Stormy Daniels caseis you had one judge that wasn't going
to take this delay delay, delaydelay stuff, and you have one judge
that is by delay delay delay andis helping the situation. So you have
two judges that are dealing with oppositeside of the coin. The problem for

(11:20):
those that are anti Trump is thatthe classified docs case is the strongest case
that exists. You have the insurrectioncase. I don't know where that's going
to go. A lot of scholars, and not that I'm a scholar,
I think that that's strong enough thetrial here on this one Stormy Daniels,

(11:43):
It's okay, it's not the bigdeal. It doesn't hurt politically. Everybody
knows it's already baked in that he'sa stuper and to be paid off to
keep people quiet. And that's justTrump. I mean, you know what
you have, and so people havealready made the decision. Uh, and
so it's the strongest case. Idon't know what defense he has for the

(12:07):
classified documents. What I heard ishe declassified them even though he didn't tell
anybody. He didn't write it,he didn't tell, he didn't say a
word. And his legal position isI've declassified him because I was thinking of
declassifying, declassifying them, and thereforethey're declassified and I was okay with those

(12:28):
documents. That's his defense. Isthat the same defense about having sex with
Story Daniels do that? He said, I thought about a divorce. It
was in my head that I wasdivorced. Now this is not Jimmy Carter.
I have sinned in my head.No. No, he goes full
blast when he sins. He goesballs to the wall, if your pardon

(12:50):
the phrase, or to the stormA y okay, Hey, this is
good news in a weird way.The body of the last missing construction worker
killed in the collapse of the BaltimoreFrancis Scott Key Bridge back in March has
been recovered and that's good for closure, but also they have to use explosives

(13:13):
and stuff to do the ongoing cleanupeffort, and I would imagine it's I
don't know. It does make youfeel better as a family member to know
they are you got, I mean, you have to. And six construction
workers killed, and it's actually amiracle because the captain of the ship radioed
saying may day, may day,and he told the authorities, don't let

(13:39):
anybody on the bridge. The policedid that, so you only had six
people on the bridge, these sixconstruction workers who are not told because they're
in the middle of it fixing potholes. So on the one hand, only
six people. On the other hand, the six the family members of the
six. That was pretty horrible. Now at least the bodies are recovered,

(14:01):
so they'll have someone to bury, which is a big deal, which is
a very very big deal. Alot of closure there. If it happened
in la no one would have diedbecause no one's fixing potholes. And a
very good point, well said anotherday, another death for Metro a suspect
was shot and killed after stabbing asecurity guard yesterday morning on him at a

(14:26):
Metro station in East Hollywood. Soapparently what happened is there was somebody on
a train and the guy pushed anemergency line on the Bee line that caused
the train to stop short of thestation, and then it eventually got to
the station. The guy pushed thebutton again, then ran off and got
into an area that's not open tothe public. So then the guy and

(14:50):
two security guards kind of got intoit. They tried to use pepper spray
on him. It didn't work. That's when they say that the suspect stabbed
one of the guards the leg andthen the guard thought fired on him in
self defense. Yeah, another reasonto go on Metro day after day.
You'll see trust me, you're gonnasee ads being taken out a pr a

(15:11):
pre r campaign by La Metro sayingMetro is safe. Comma in New York
somewhere other than here. Now he'sbeen breaking this down and really leaning on
it, is mo Kelly. Ifif you haven't listened to it. Later
in a while he comes on atseven o'clock, but he is just blasting

(15:33):
Metro on the daily and it's afun listen, Neil. Neil puts this
stuff up behind him graphics because hesits in front of a green screen,
and you know, I get tolook at it. If I'm not mistaken.
That is the inside of a colonduring colonoscopy. Yes, with a

(15:54):
with a fly in it, NeilGross is that a fly? Is a
fly? That's a fly. Ididn't think it was a fly. I
thought it was simply a bit ofyou know, human waste with wings.
Oh no, it's a fly.Okay, all right, fly, all

(16:14):
right, it's a fly. Quickannouncement before we get back to the news.
Up through this weekend, Lamarada Theaterhas Jersey Boys, which is one
of my favorite musicals in all theworld. And I am telling you,
if you have a chance to gosee it, it is extraordinary. There's
still tickets available through the weekend. And why am I telling you this Because

(16:37):
I get free tickets and I ama complete whore. And I happened to
like Tom and Kathy Rigby, whoare the producers of the show. They're
good friends, and Neil and Ihave gone, Oh, not only are
they great people, yeah themselves, but those are Broadway. Oh yeah,
quality show absolutely Broadway called shows thatwe have that in our backyard and we

(17:00):
aren't going more. And by theway, mentioned KFI. You'll get in
for a dollar fifty for orchestra seats. Hey, Tom, that's for you.
By the way, that what wasjust to make you miserable, No,
that's not true anyway. It isfar less expensive. And Lamarada Theater
is magic and Jersey Boys is incredible. Okay, well worth it this weekend,

(17:26):
it ends, okay, And I'mgoing to be there on Saturday the
matine So come on by. Iwill have no security with me as I
usually do, so feel free tocost me and scream at me. Okay,
let's do it more. Handle onthe news, Amy and Neil and
me. The TikTok Tickety TikTok Talksued to block the US law that could

(17:49):
force a nationwide band on their app. You know, they're following through basically
at this point on all those legalthreats they said after President Joe Biden signed
the legislation last one. So they'rejust doing exactly what they said that they're
going to push back on this.Yeah, and I'm going to do more
about this at seven twenty because thereis the hypocrisy here is stunning. It

(18:15):
is breath taking, and there's alot of this going around the world today.
And at seven twenty, I'm goingto dive into the TikTok lawsuit.
Well, this should fix everything right. The Boy Scouts of America is changing
its name. It's been in existencefor one hundred and fourteen years, but
now it will no longer be theBoy Scouts of America. It will just
be Scouting America. The branding orthe rebranding was announced at this week.

(18:42):
The organization is emerging from bankruptcy aftera bunch of sexual abuse claims, and
it wants to focus on inclusion.Roger Cron took over last fall as president
and CEO. He said, inthe next one hundred years, we want
any youth in America to feel very, very welcome to come into our programs.
Yeah. By the way, therewas a huge fight because some people

(19:03):
wanted to use the word victims indescribing and talking about the Boy Scouts,
Girl Scouts, Scouting of America, the Victims of America. Yeah, pretty
much, pretty much, And theysettled for insane dollars and they had to
go into bankruptcy. And so theygot to come up. I was a
boy scout and I was I gotkicked out. I told you that story.

(19:27):
I accused the scout master of Embezleymoney in front of the troop,
which was not true at least Idon't think so. And I was gone,
boom boy. I liked it.And I was one, I guess,
one of the few people that weren'tmolested when I was a boy scout.
Well, it's horrible that anyone was, but I imagine it was not

(19:49):
the majority, right they had, they had their choice. I'd be the
last one. Let's move on.Yeah, in anyone's roundup. I suppose
former p is it. Donald Trumpapparently spoke privately with Republican Representative Marley Marjorie
rather Taylor Green, and this wasjust over the last weekend, and urged

(20:12):
her to drop her push the oustspeaker Mike Johnson. YEP. Two things
about that gives you idea of thepower that Trump has over the Republican Party.
Ninety percent of the time, theRepublicans do not move without calling him
and asking permission. And Marjorie TaylorGreen wants once more to toss a speaker

(20:33):
and it is not going to happen. She has not introduced the motion yet
and she will not because it's goingto get just nailed. It's going to
be stomped down so quickly. Sothere's she's not going to have it.
I think Johnson and her this issimply keeping a face for her or making

(20:53):
what's the word I'm looking for,Yeah, anyway, making her. Trump
says he just wants unity in theparty and it's important. Yeah, but
it's not. It's not. It'sabout it's about keeping her from looking like
a complete dip, letting her saveface there, it is save face,
Thank you very much. I knewthere was a word there, keeping face,

(21:17):
making face, saving face. Isn'tshe just like a billboard with legs
at this point? Oh? Sheis. What a piece of work she
is. I'm going to do apodcast on her and other crazy ass congress
people. I mean, she isliterally the tip of the bottom of the
barrel. Hey, onen's that podcastcoming out? People are? It looks

(21:38):
like it looks like in the nextweek or two, as I'm putting various
ones together, I'm going to havea bank as we roll them out,
and it's going to be a lotof fun. We're playing with it and
is helping me with it and tryingto get my legs on this thing.
It's a very different thing. Podcastingis not the same as broadcast, and

(22:00):
I effectively, effectively have to unlearnwhat I'm doing. I've been doing what
I do for so long. I'mbetter off. I would have been better
off not having done a morning showand just started podcasting. So there's an
unlearning curve, and then there's alearning curve. Well out there would have
been better off probably, would younot doing them more? Yeah? No,

(22:21):
so there is a learning curve. But I'm putting down I would how
many do we have, like eightor ten, of which eight or ten
are unusable, So we're getting there. Unfortunately, this is not a very
lovely story. A four year oldgirl and her two year old brother have
both died. They got swept awayin a river yesterday in San Bernardino County.

(22:45):
They were out with their mother atMill Creek near the Thurman Flats picnic
area. It's on Highway thirty eightoutside mentone, and they say that the
mom was kind of taking care ofthe little boy and the little girl got
into the water and was swept awayand then he got into the waters.
They found them, And the othersad part of this is they couldn't get

(23:10):
nine to one one into help forlike an hour because they were in an
area with limited cell service. Wow. Yeah, if you've if you've never
been in that, it's gorgeous inthat area and it is very hard to
get cell service at all up there. But it just is one of those
idyllic places. And what a sadstory. And so can you imagine a

(23:33):
mother losing both her children. Shewas attending to her son for this story,
and her daughter gets swept away, and then she goes for the daughter
and her son gets swept away fourand two. Can't even imagine what parents,
what she went through. Yeah,it is. It's a horrific story.

(23:56):
It's heart wrenching. Here's a goodstory. Yeah, some positive news.
After all that rainfall that we've hadand flooded California rivers and packed our
mountains with all that snow, thestate reported the first increase in groundwater supplies
in four years. Yeah, that'sa big deal because we've been losing grand

(24:18):
groundwater from wells. By the way, no idea how much groundwater was lost
because no one measured it. It'seasy to figure out how much is lost.
That's not hard to do that.No one bothered, and so we're
pretty good news. We need afew more decades of good rain to bring
us up, to bring us upto par Have you seen pictures of Lake

(24:44):
Powell? Lake Powell up in Utah? This is where the first Planet of
the Apes. Remember when they comedown and they end up in that lake.
Charlton Heston ends up with that lakein the spaceship that's Lake Powell,
and to really yeah, wow,I didn't. Yeah, yeah, I
like Planet of the Apes. Oweme too. Chimpanzees taking over the world.

(25:07):
There's a new one that's out likethis week. Oh how many are
there? You talk about a franchise. I haven't been too crazy about the
newer one. No. No,they're horrible. They're horrible, they really
are. I mean, you canonly do so much with apes to talk.
Well, you've done what thirty years? Well said? The heat is

(25:32):
still on the world had its hottestApril on record, according to new data
from Copernicus, which is the EuropeanUnion's climate monitoring service. That makes eleven
months in a row of high globaltemperatures sometimes scientists are warning that there is
a strong chance twenty twenty four couldbe twenty twenty three as the warmest year

(25:53):
on record. Yeah, No,climate change is here and they, you
know, the climatologists said it.More tornadoes. Have you read about that?
Where have you seen the tornadoes thatare going across the country escape coming?
Yeah, and they're in the hundredsnow that are coming. And there
yesterday was it was reported that anF three or an F four came in.

(26:15):
I mean just massive. And nowthere's video of these things taken from
four feet away and you can seejust the insane destruction. How houses,
buildings not only are destroyed, theyexplode when the tornado hits, which is
why in Kansas you have to havethose tornado shelters. And when Toto runs

(26:38):
out, you go chasing after himand then you end up with munchkin Land
and it's a whole thing here.Yeah, so get those special shelters.
Yes, in three hundred and sixtyfour days May seventh, twenty twenty five,
anyone eighteen or older will need tobe to present their passport or their

(27:00):
real ID to fly domestically and evento get into a federal building. Yeah,
got mine. Pardon, but I'vegot mine. I've got mine.
I need one to I got mine. But you don't need an ID to
vote? No, of course not. No I did. As a matter
of fact, it's illegal to bringan ID to vote. I told you
last time I went to vote,it was absolutely scary. So there's a

(27:23):
voting official there and and I tryto reach my wallet. You know,
I give my name and give myaddress, and I said, I'd like
to prove who I am too.We don't want to see it. I
go, what are you talking about? You don't want to see it?
No, no, we don't wantto see it. I go, Can
I show it to you? No? No, absolutely not. But try

(27:44):
to get on an airplane without idea, which by the way, I'm totally
in favor of. I think youhave to have IDH. I think you
I have to have a passport goinginto a seven eleven and picking up a
giant slurpee. That's it. We'redone. This is KFI AM six forty
