You're listening to bill Handle on demandfrom kf I am six forty. You
are listening to the bill Handle Show. Good music. I like it.
ConA Handle Here Friday morning, Mayseventeen, Foody Friday, And here we

(00:23):
have a very special guest on FoodyFriday, someone who we rarely see on
the show except for every single dayall through the show, Neil Savedrast almost
time Glory close. Do you knowhow to cook? Or do you just
know how to put trash in theoven and then put it on a plate?

(00:43):
It's Friday with Nil Savedra on thebill Handle Show. Yeah. I
think we need some other stuff herenow. And it's been going on for
a long time. It seems weirdthough that I get a special intro with
In fact I am here all thetime. Yeah, I think you know
what, Let's dump the intro Kono? All right? Is that what we're
doing? I think so? Imean, Neil, it's your intro.

(01:03):
What do you think? I don'tget your God, No, it's your
call. I'll let you make thecall on that one. Thanks. What
do you want to do? Halfof it? What's more? Bother some
or troublesome to Kono? There's notroublesome. No, it's not it's not
hard. Yeah, Coono. Firstof all, ConA doesn't care, And
if he did care, it didn'tmatter. What if I wanted him to

(01:23):
create a new one from scratch.I think Clay does those, isn't he?
No? No, no, doesn'tknow what I said. Oh,
like, if I wanted Kono tocreate something from scratch. I'm just trying
to figure out what would annoy him. Yeah, okay, you know what,
I'll tell you. What annoys meis not that you care not doing

(01:45):
this segment because this question, thisis a critical question, to the point
where when I was promoting this segmentin the six o'clock hours, we opened
the show and I said, boy, this is important. Huh, I'm
making fun of you and the topicand the question is are tacos and burritos
sandwiches? And I said, comeon, really, how lame can you
go? And both Amy and Neilsaid, oh no, no, this

(02:07):
is a thing. It's a seriousthing. Neil, let's jump into that.
Here's the deal. Be far fromme to ever take a rabbit trail
on this program. So I knowhow much you're a stickler for focusing to
what's in front of us. Well, what Amy and I were saying earlier
was that this isn't just us goingthis is a great topic. This actually

(02:29):
hit a court and so it playsinto these stupid uses of courts. But
I'll tell you why. So thisyou had a judge rule that tacos and
burritos are Mexican styled sandwiches. Whywould that even hit you know, the
court? This is why in FortWayne, Indiana, they have this shopping

(02:51):
center. The shopping center has azoning policy. It prohibits fast food.
However, it does allow exceptions forrestaurants whose primary business is to sell made
to order order, subway style sandwiches. So this company came in. Their

(03:13):
name is Famous Taco and they wantedin in this shopping center and they said
no, they turned them down. And they said, but tacos and burritos
are just Mexican style sandwiches, andwe're going to do them made to order
in the same way, in thesame fashion. And they the city commission
denied that request. So a judgehad to come in and the judge there

(03:37):
in Fort Wayne Allen County Superior Court, Judge Craig J. Bobbe B ob
Ay wrote the ruling just this Monday, and he said, yeah, tacos
and britos are Mexican style sandwiches. All right, So here's a question I

(03:58):
have that Let's start with, howdo the folks in Indiana even know what
a Mexican is? Well, theyhave TV and stuff. They have TV,
they've seen them. Oh yeah, and they look around they we don't
have any of them here. Yeah, I don't know if Indiana has a

(04:18):
whole lot. You'd have to lookthat up to see what the population of
Latinos are in Indiana. Who knows. But it's funny because it's not even
tortoise. Yeah, and those aresandwiches. Those you can't argue, yes,
but they actually came later. Ithink those are eighteen ninety ish and
I think tacos are probably eighteen twenties. So what they do before that just

(04:41):
Mexican food. Well yeah, then, well then you get into the debate
whether a flower tortilla is a breadbecause it's un levined and some say it's
interesting. So for but you, being a Jewish Man, you eat unleavened
bread during Passover, and like right, ye, well you could eat a

(05:04):
corn tortilla as unleavened bread. Butyou couldn't eat flour tortilla because it's got
wheat, and wheat is one ofthe what five different grains that you can't
eat, so it's anyway, Sothe debate also goes into whether the flower
tortilla would be a bread or not. That's not a good debate. That's
okay, mister. This is thedumbest topic I've ever seen. I can't

(05:28):
wait to talk about necrophilia the victimlesscrime in Hall of Week, which you
do every year. It's been yearssince I've done necrophilia the victimless crime.
Matter of fact, thank you,I do that on you know what,
how many years have I not donenecrophilia the victimless crime. I can't remember,

(05:50):
but it's not as it's not aslong ago as one might think or
hope, I mean, you know, yeah, you used to do it
every year. Now I am goingto now Halloween, I'm gonna go I'm
gonna go ahead and do it.Remind me, and would you remind me?
I would like to apologize to everyone, well necrophilia the victimless crime,

(06:11):
which, by the way, you'regonna all agree with me by the time
I'm finished with that segment. Howcan necrophilia not be crime? It is
a victimless crime. Isn't it vandalism? No? Isn't it a property crime?
No? It should be a propertycrime. But that is part and
parcel of the entire topic. Sonecrophilia the victimless crime. So Neil and

(06:33):
I'm saying this to everybody. You'veseen the video of the Hindenburg crashing at
Lake Crystal, Jersey in nineteen thirtyseven, and as it explodes in flames
and it comes crashing down, therewas a radio announcer and he was fired
for this, saying the humanity, the humanity. That's what I thought when

(06:56):
I heard about McDonald's undoing free refillsfor the drinks. I went, oh,
come on, humanity, no morefree refills, gentleman, grave mouth
and the frame of rising to thegrounds not quite to the mo ma,
all the humanity and all the ground. I don't do it. Wow.

(07:20):
Yeah, that's you know, that'sexactly the response I had. I mean,
he was watching twenty people being burntto death. Uh, this is
far more important the self served drinksdisappearing that kiosk. Come on, we
had to comfort you. So wehad to roll you around in peeps and
let you come back. So what'sall of this? How do you do

(07:42):
that? Because that you know, there's going to be inevitable, there's going
to be a backlash on that one. Okay, here's the problem. If
you go to a McDonald's now inany part of the city that's not Orange
County. If you go, Isee homeless people with shoes putting soda and
shoes whatever container they can refilling stuffall the time. For one, it

(08:05):
causes all kinds of issues. Andyou know they're not making the same money.
I know everybody keeps saying, Oh, but they're a corporate company.
They can swallow the twenty dollars anhour. They are going to people companies,
they're franchisees. They're they're gonna getrid of stuff like this, and

(08:26):
they're gonna get start getting rid ofdining rooms altogether. To be given.
And I get that, And thatone, by the way, makes sense.
So so therefore we're done. Ifyou get rid of well, then
how do you do it? Whydo you need to refill if you don't
to a dining room? You know, now you're right, If you don't
have a dining room, you don't, So they're getting redly. It was
inevitable. But the story is,uh, dining rooms are disappearing as opposed

(08:48):
to free refills. Yeah, butthe free refills are going to leave before
the dining rooms do. Because problem, because you have existing places, what
are they going to do tear itdown? But the new ones are going
to be able to you know, new fast food locations are going to be
able to pop up in smaller areasmore I don't know, human dense locations

(09:09):
because it used they used to needa certain sized footprint of land to be
able to put a place in there. Now they can put them in small
places because all they need is adrive through. They don't need the actual
restaurant part. And it's ridiculous. Some of these these machines are expensive.
I was talking to someone the otherday. Yeah, where you have where
you have one hundred different choices,it's you push the button, it's not

(09:33):
you press that little lever thing andno choice. Yeah, no they are,
but you don't have to do that. You know, you don't have
to spend that kind of money. You can go back to the traditional what
I'm just looking at your face. This really upsets you. Oh you damn
right. It upsets me. Yourvoice is getting Yeah, this is prelamityl
This is you know, the thoughtof going into a fast food place,

(09:54):
which I do, and I andthere are no refills available for drinks a
mon oh man, that's America disappearing. I haven't seen you like hot dogs
being made illegal since you were waitingat a Costco on a Sunday for them
to continue to warm up the foodand bags for samples. Are you ready

(10:15):
yet? Are you ready? Sir? Sir? When we're ready, we'll
start the line over here. AndI have to be able to speak Korean.
Oh yeah, Korean could contingent inyours. Oh yeah. And then
you go some of them are Hispanic. You realize then you're the minority,
absolutely, and I love I'll tellyou it's uh. And then there's some

(10:35):
Asian ones that are Asian. Andthere are six kinds of rice in twenty
five pound bags. Well, yougo to a super king and they have
multiple aisles that are just rice, and that's uh, you know, Middle
Eastern and all kinds of things likethat. All right, Neil, we're
done and we yeah, we are, yeah, coming up. Oh,

(10:58):
by the way, on tomorrow fromtwo to five o'clock. Yeah, I
do the FOROK Report, Yeah,Fork Report, which is always great fun,
all right, as we now doon Friday, we end the last
half hour with this week's World andReview living under a rock. Well,
here's what you've missed, piping hotoff the newswires from around the corner to

(11:22):
around that world. This is thisweek's World in Review, and as always,
plenty of stories to cover, soI only sort of just hit the
highlights and not all of them. And this week's World and reviews not only
world news, but it's also nationaland local news that I cover on the

(11:45):
local front. Another death on ametro bus yesterday, La, and this
was hours after the Metropolitan Transit Authority, headed by LA Mayor I had a
press conference about how safety is neededand there have been too many killings this
week there were three attacks and bythe way, not counting yesterday. I

(12:07):
don't think so you're gonna see alot more cops on the platforms. Oh,
by the way, there's an argumentsaying, no, no, no,
we need fewer cops. There aren'tmany. There are a couple.
No, no, we don't wantany cops. Why because brown and black
peele people people, brown and blackpeople are somehow making to be felt uncomfortable

(12:30):
and the targets of police therefore theyshould not well shouldn't have cops at all.
Crazy crazy stuff. Michael Cohen hitthe stand this week and he'll be
on. I think today is hislast day on the stand, Is that
right, Amy, No, there'sno trial today because Trump's at Baron's graduat
right, That's right, Thanks forreminding me. He comes back on Monday.
Is Michael Cohen coming back on Monday? Has he done? Michael Cohen?

(12:54):
Of course, President former President Trump'sfixer who turned on him, flipped
on him. Was he questioned themain prosecution witness and the defense. I
thought it was overreach, except onone critical case. They got him.
They blindsided him on a conversation thathe had ostensibly with the president on an

(13:18):
issue regarding the payments, and itturned out not to be that issue.
Is it was with one of theaids involved, So I think that that
may have done it. The restof the time there was just tremendous overreach.
You're own liar, and on andon and on, and he was
very calm about it. He goes, yeah, I lied, Yeah,

(13:39):
absolutely, and all the ammunition wastaken out. The bombardment just kept ongoing
too much, except they got himon this one specific conversation, which was
the crux of the case, thisconversation with Trump that he testified to.
It turned out not to be,or at least the evidence is that it
was not the case. Joe Bidenand Donald Trump have accepted invitations to debate,

(14:05):
and the first one is going tobe taking place in June. It's
the earliest debate that has ever happenedin presidential politics. And the reason they
have to go so early, orit makes a lot of sense because early
voting is so early that by thetime normal timelines of debates, a lot
of people have already voted, andthe point of debates is to talk to

(14:30):
people that have not yet voted. The electorate. So the Presidential Elections Committee,
which sets this up usual or theCommission Presidential Election Commission usually sets this
up. Both Republicans Democrats have blownright by them. Come on, they're
becoming irrelevant. So you're going tosee the debates. The first one is
CNN and I think the next oneis a Fox. Is that what that

(14:54):
was agreed? To I believe sointernationally, Gaza aid, that peer that
has been talked about for months isfinally there in Gaza. This was built
by the US US Armed Forces. It's three hundred and twenty million dollars.
It took six weeks to create tobuild, and it's a full pier that

(15:18):
goes out into the Mediterranean. Andwith that, humanitarian aid is being brought
into Gaza. Israel has stopped humanitarianaid coming in from Egypt, or Egypt
has actually stopped it. No,Israel did it with Egypt cooperation. And
of course the other points that areon the border with Israel of Gaza,

(15:39):
those were all shut down. Sothis one is the US building it and
then effectively turning it over to theWorld Health Organization for international aid. And
it's important to note, since PresidentBiden is fanatic about the US not having
any boots on the ground of armedservice personnel, do not put one foot

(16:03):
onto Gaza soil. That's all doneby World Health people and local authorities,
and the goods are simply transferred over. All right, We're going to take
a well, humanitarian aid is transferredover. Now what you're going to hear
come the debates. I guarantee youthe presidential debates in June is from former

(16:26):
President Trump is this is Joe Bidenis not only the worst president. Okay,
I'll buy that, you know,in terms of his position. I
mean, I think that's reasonably legitimatecoming from either one either side. But
one of the things you're going tohear is that the economy has never been
worse, That this is the worsteconomy in the history of the United States.

(16:47):
I guarantee you that's going to comeout of Trump's mouth. So with
that in mind, yesterday the stockmarket hit, it reached and it just
kissed right over the line forty thousandpoints. It has never been there.
It is at the highest level inthe history of the stock market itself and

(17:12):
worst the worst economy we've ever had. Now, I don't think it closed
at forty thousand, because it droppeda little bit before, but it is
effectively forty thousand. Amy, what'sthe market doing right now? It's up
twenty three looking at CNN. Yeah, but the screen it's down to thirty

(17:33):
nine eight ninety one. All right, so you're one hundred and ten points
off ye forty thousand. I'm it'sextraordinary, and I can't wait for the
presidential debates, cannot wait because it'sthat you're going to see stuff flying around
that's crazy, particularly among MAGA supporters. It's as I said over the last
couple of days, as Donald Trumptalks about the worst economy in the history

(17:57):
of United States, there are peoplewho are Magas supporters who will wake up,
go to work and believe they're unemployedbecause the economy is so bad.
I absolutely believe that. So onan international deal news, the one billion

(18:18):
dollar weapons deal for Israel in factpast, and there was a little bit
of controversy in that President Biden, who's under tremendous pressure to cut off aid
to Israel, reduce aid to Israel. You see the protests that are demanding
that the universities divest any amount ofmoney they have invested, divest their investments

(18:45):
into American companies that deal with Israel, particularly Israel's war machine. And I
don't know where they're going to gowith that one, like that's going to
happen, right, So what inlight of international protests and light of the
argument there's a genocide going on inGaza. By the way, it's interesting
with these protests, I haven't seenone sign that says free the hostages.

(19:08):
Not one. As far as manyof these protesters are concerned, this entire
war started October eighth, and theHamas terrorist attack never happened. Its just
Israel started attacking Gaza. Go figure. What Biden did did is press more
and more for Nita Yahu to holdback at least allow humanitarian aid. Israel

(19:30):
line through its teeth says, oh, we are not getting in the way
of humanitarian aid at all. Please, you know, just outright not true,
just outright lie about that. SoBiden withheld the two thousand and five
hundred pound bombs that Israel has beenusing. Two thousand pound bombs wipe out
entire neighborhoods. Israel legitimately looks atHamas that is embedded in the neighborhoods,

(19:56):
in the buildings, and the kindergartensgot it. And so it's kind of
hard not to kill civilians if you'regoing after Hamas. But two thousand pound
bombs and they're saying it's strategic thatthey're going or tactical that they're going after
these Hamas centers, these Hamas militants. Okay, yeah, I don't buy

(20:18):
that. Anyway, the arms didn'tstop. Billion dollar deal was just passed,
so the arms are just flying intoIsrael as we speak. In terms
of terriffs, this is the argumentthat we've been having with China. China
is a very protectionist country when itcomes to goods flowing in from other countries,

(20:41):
tariffs, tariffs, and more tariffs. So President Biden said, all
right, the biggest market in theworld for ed evs or one of the
biggest of the United States. Imean, it's growing like crazy because of
governmental pressure on all of us.And he just raised the tariffs on evs
coming in from China, and theyproduce extraordinarily good quality e v's at just

(21:04):
a ridiculously low price because the government'ssubsidize and they're dumping them all over the
world. Just increase the tariffs fromtwenty five percent to one hundred percent tariffs.
We're going to pay double the pricefor a Chinese EV than we would
in China or in other countries thatdon't have protection tariffs against China, And

(21:30):
of course China bitch and moaned aboutit. That's so unfair. How can
you do that? You believe ina free market system, and that's China,
the world hypocrite when it comes tothis, and has been forever.
I could go on, but we'vegot more. Next week, of course,
we start all over again. Alsocoming up tomorrow from eight to eleven
o'clock. First six to eight isDean Sharp and from eight to eleven it's

(21:53):
Handle on the Law, where Igive you marginal legal advice. And as
you will hear tomorrow, if youare injured in a car accident, just
go to Handle on the law dotCom. That's all you have to do.
Handle on the law dot Com.You'll talk to the lawyers. These

(22:15):
we're done Friday, another week thatwe put to bed. Come back
