You're listening to Bill Handle on demandfrom kf I am six forty. It's
like Bill Clinton arguing that oral sexis in sex if you don't actually grab
someone's head. I don't think that'show he he certainly, he certainly said

(00:22):
that was in sex. Oh hedid. Yeah, he hands up in
the air. If you're surrendering, that's not sex. She didn't inhale whoa
And now Handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen, here's Bill Handle.
You know, every time I listento that promo, O'Neil, I'm more

(00:44):
and more impressed with you if youfit into this show coming aboard or what
it was, seamless of you comingin absolutely excellent. Good morning, Neil,
Good morning, Willie Wolf, TacoTuesday, and here we start a
day cono, good morning, okay. And then there is Amy, Good

(01:07):
morning, Amy, Good morning Till. Oh happy camper, aren't you?
Yeah? You are so up,it's vomitous. You're such a great attitude,
you know, truly. Uh.And then Anne there you go and
morn yeah, and is uh youknow, has her head down on her
fist. You know I do that? No, I don't, I'm looking.

(01:30):
No, you were no you wereyou did did? Yeah? You
know how you put your fist underyour cheek? Ye you sort of?
That was that was what she was. She was flipping you off with her
entire face. Uh no, no, uh it's like this, No,
no, I could. There isan excellent joke there that I'm not It's

(01:53):
a little bit you know, secondthird separation at birth? Did it pop
in your head? Yeah, it'snot an excellent joke. Oh well,
it's certainly depraved. And this isthis is why I'm starting the podcast and
it should be out in a coupleof weeks because I will not edit myself.

(02:14):
I shall not. I will notedit myself. So this is the
edited version. Now. Oh youknow what, We have to edit ourselves
so much, and it's just drivesme completely crazy what the world is like
and has become even here. Imean, we used to say things that,

(02:34):
you know, just offend it everybody, but you were allowed to say
it. Now you're still allowed tosay it under FCC rules. I mean,
the FCC is pretty I would sayconservative in the number of words it
doesn't allow, but there isn't much. Even scatological words are allowed unless they

(02:58):
refer to scatology. For example, you can say the word bs perfectly allowed.
Matter of fact, I think theother day I did by mistake and
kono edited out. However, youcannot say a bowl takes an S because
that refers to scatology, that is, that is prohibited by the FCC rules.

(03:20):
What if you said, man,I had so much, so much
Taco Bell food last night, Iwas on the can taking a handle the
whole morning. Allowed, okay, allowed? That's more offensive to me,
Well, well yeah it is,but it is completely allowed under FCC rules

(03:40):
of it. You see's face whenI said that joke up? Oh no,
please please. And the problem isthe problem is is that you cannot.
You just can't do any of it. Remember what we you were around
when when that new I Heart thewho was it? It was the the

(04:04):
I Heart, Oh god, what'sthe word I'm looking for? Came in
just as iHeart bought the company andit was God, what do they do?
I can't believe. I just hadthis mind thing going on. We
all can no, no, no, no, no, I knew that.
What's that? What's the department that? Human resources? Human resources?

(04:27):
Thank you? I don't know whyI believe, Yes, I do,
I know exactly why I believe.Human resources came in and I remember the
woman they brought, and it wasthat whiteboard and she started listing everything you
can't say, oh, I dorecall it. And I raised my hand
and I said, uh, well, we opened the show at five oh

(04:47):
six in the morning. That's wherewe went from five to nine and five.
We opened the show five oh six, and by five ten, I've
gone through half of those and shes, oh, no, no, no,
no, no, you can't docan't it's impossible, No, you
can't. So on the way outafter the meeting, one of our just
drop dead gorgeous aes and I'm notgoing to mention names. I'm walking with

(05:11):
her and HR ladies behind us andI'm walking with her and I turned to
her, I go, wow, what a set of knockers you have.
And I have to tell you it'salways impressive. And you could hear the
hoffing going on. You can't saythat. You can't say that. Now.
In those days, only the personthat the statement was targeted at could

(05:34):
complaint HR, and that would bethe AE who was more depraved than all
of us. If there was alawsuit for sexual harassment, it would be
us suing her. Do you rememberwho she was? I know? Okay,
and today cannot mention a woman's Winnebagos, just cannot. Okay, good

(05:57):
to know. Yeah, good Conoso upset about it? To Coda,
Hey, just a little, alittle, a little inside baseball as to
what's going on in radio. Justwanted to share it with you inside baseball
Winnebagos. Yeah, I don't thinki've heard that before. Knockers, good
knockers. So I know what thereference was for ConA, but we're talking

(06:21):
about what it's from the thirties.Hey, are we ready to great set
of knockers? Yes, that's allright. Uh, by the way,
it's absolutely true. Okay. Ohcan I get in trouble just for doing
that? Probably? All right, let's knock one out of the park baseball

(06:45):
reference to Okay, let's do it, guys, handle on the news with
Amy King, Nilsenbiedra and me lead. Sorry. Biden went ballistic because the
International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants fornot only the leaders of Hamas, because

(07:09):
the leaders of Hamas actually ordered themassacre on October seventh, but also against
Biden, excuse me, against theIsraelis, against the Tanyahu for committing war
crimes, and Biden went completely crazysaying you cannot compare the two. Now,
the argument, of course, isthat Israel is targeting civilians. I

(07:30):
don't believe that. I don't believeit's targeting civilians. I just think that
civilians are far lower on the foodchain really than destroying hamas. That I
believe. Well, what's the difference. It's a big difference. Targeting going
after it would be Israel grabbing civiliansand torturing them and raping the women and

(07:58):
killing the chill with the intent todo so. That is a war crime
on a different level. That's notto say that the allegation of what not
even targeting, but ignoring the humanitarianaid for example, denying that that is
a war crime. I believe. But it's not the same. You know,
there are levels. Okay, Sothey don't care about collateral damage?

(08:20):
How about that? Yeah? Orif they do, it's more important than
hamas be obliterated. I think theydo. I just don't think it's as
important. Got it all right?Bullying In banking, The head of the
FDIC, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, is going to step down after an

(08:41):
independent investigation found pervasive sexual harassment, discrimination, and bullying. Gruenberg. The
guy's name is Martin Gruenberg. Hesaid he's going to stay in place until
they find a replacement, and thenhe has served the agency as the chairman

(09:01):
of the fd i C for tenyears. The buckstops here. No allegation
that he even knew about it,no allegation the complaints were made to him,
just the culture of pervasiveness. Wow. Yeah. They all came together
and said he was a huge fordick. Yeah, oh excellent, well
said, you know, I thinkthe analog d i C. Yeah,

(09:24):
I got it, I got it, I got it. I think theology
here is referring to a woman's breastbreasts in the hallway winnebagos, thank you,
And during the course of the morningmeetings. Okay, we're done,
guys, or at least probably justbe done at six thirteen. We're done

(09:48):
with this. Yes, all right, we're done with this segment. So
there's three government agencies in southern Californiaand they're receiving a significant chuck chunk of
hash from the federal government to cleanup multiple severely contaminated sites. They call
them the brown Field sites. Andtheir former sites for like making metal fabrications

(10:13):
and things like that. But they'reawarding this money to clean up these sites
in Orange County. There's one inCarson and they're going to receive like one
point five million dollars each to getthese things rehabilitated. Weren't those super fun
sites? Is that what they callthem? Do you remember super fun?

(10:33):
I think, yeah, well Iremember super something sites. Super fund Neil
not fun yeah, super fun funsites? Yeah, No, superfund sites.
And to clean these things up,especially old gas stations and chemical plants,
it is a mess. They haveto go down, clean off five

(10:56):
or six or eight feet of dirtand then move all that to a landfill,
and it gets crazy. It isexpensive, and I think three million
dollars doesn't touch it. But youknow what, it's better than nothing.
I mean, I'll take it.Is there reverse racism going on at City?

(11:18):
City Group has had a racial discriminationlawsuit filed in federal court against it
by customers in Florida who say theywere charged out of network fees for transactions
at ATMs while customers of minority ownedbanks were not. Yep, I'm going
to do this as seven point thirtyand effect. The word to describe this

(11:39):
this lawsuit is reverse discrimination. AndI will explain that starting with the granddaddy
of reverse discrimination suits at nineteen seventythree Bachy versus the Regions of the State
of California, University of California. And it's the thing. Verse discrimination has

(12:01):
to do with diversity, and it'sjust as fascinating which way we're going.
Why don't they just call it majoritydiscrimination because it may not necessarily be majority
discrimination. You can have them eitheror it's not. No, no,
it's not a majority. I'll explainwhat. But you know what I'm saying,
that implies that there's only discrimination inone direction. That's exactly what this

(12:24):
lawsuit said. But just call itdiscrimination. It's not discrimination. Usually when
you talk about discrimination, you talkabout minorities, You talk about those that
are of sexual origent orientation that arenot the norm. And I use that
in quotes because that I can't evenbelieve they say it's not the norm,
as in lbed GQ is not themajority. But that doesn't mean it's not

(12:48):
reverse discrimination. I'll explain that atseven point thirty, Neil, you're giving
me the perplexed look. I'll explainthat. Well, this is just the
look I get from about six aaryeah, about nine am. Yeah,
I understand. So a federal judgereopened the sentencing. I think that game.

(13:09):
No, nope, uh oh,you're right. I'm sorry I missed.
Go ahead, Neil myyer. Wow, it's like watching It's like watching
John Williams conducting orchestra. No,it's no, he does a great job.
It's like what it's like watching twopages of paper stuck together that I
couldn't separate. That's what he's likedoing over there. Federal judge reopened the

(13:31):
sentencing of that guy, the hammerguy who attacked the husband of former US
Speaker Nancy Pelosi Pelosi. And thisis on a clear error. I guess
when you're sent having a sentencing andhearing in federal court, the judge typically
permits the defendants this opportunity to speakright just before the jurists rendered their judgment.

(13:54):
And that did that happen? Sothat's federal criminal procedure. It's in
the codebooks. And so the onlything they're doing is reopening that part of
it, allowing him to speak, and he's gonna go and say whatever.
I'm so sorry. You know,I'm sorry I caused the hurt or whatever,
or just say I'm innocent, andthe judge are gonna go yeah,
yeah, yeah, Okay, thankyou. Here's your thirty years. It's

(14:16):
gonna be the same sentence. That'swhat's gonna happen. Yeah, I got
it. Shut up, we gotyour we got it from you. All
right. Now, here's thirty years. That's what's gonna happen. Wow.
And then they just could put anail in it. Yeah, it's all
just giving him a chance to sayhe's gonna keep yeah, and he's gonna

(14:37):
you know, he's gonna start singingwith what he got three songs. If
I if I had a hammer,I'd hammer in the morning, I'd hammer
in the evening all over Pelosi's head. Well that's unfortunate, Okay. The
judge cleared the courtroom at the Trumptrial yesterday. Judge One Mershan we'd the

(15:00):
court room of reporters and then threatenedto remove the defense's witness from the trial
altogether because of how he was apparentlybehaving on the stand, which included making
comments under his breath and rolling hiseyes and staring down the judge. Robert
Costello is the witness. He's aformer federal prosecutor. The judge said that
his conduct during testimony was contemptuous andapparently yelled at him when everybody left the

(15:22):
court. Yeah. Not the testimonyitself direct contradiction to what Michael Cohen said.
I mean, it couldn't be morecontradictory. But it's him rolling his
eyes and uttering words. Come on, ridiculous. The judge went berserk on
this well, and apparently it's becausethe prosecution kept objecting and then Mrshan was

(15:48):
sustaining it and that was frustrating toCostello. And Costello was a former federal
prosecutor. To show you how biasedthis guy is. The EPA is stepping
up inspections of water facilities. Theconcern is cyber attacks and if they're vulnerable.

(16:11):
There's an increased frequency and severity ofthese cyber attacks on the nation's water
plants. So they're stepping up theinvestigations and checking them out, making sure
that they're safe. Yeah, thisis the perfect storm. How often have
I said there's gonna be two kindsof wars in the future cyber wars water
wars, because we have a finitesupply of water and cities are running out

(16:34):
of water, and cyber wars,of course, cyber attacks on water plants,
which are particularly vulnerable. I'm surprisedmore have it happened. So they
really have to help the game onthis one. This is where the FED
spends and should spend big money todefend against those. All Right, the
Doomsday Glacier. Ocean water is apparentlypushing miles beneath Antarctica's Doomday Glacier, making

(17:00):
it more vulnerable to melting than previouslythought. That's according to new research which
used radar data from space to doan X ray of the glacier. Yeah,
the size of this thing the sizeof Florida. If this thing breaks
off, well, it will breakoff, just a question of time.
You know, all the climatologists whosaid climate change is going to destroy it,

(17:22):
it's going to be the worst thingin the world. They guessed wrong.
It's going faster than what they said. And once this thing hits,
it breaks off two feet of sealevel rise. If you're about to spend
fourteen million dollars for a beach fronthouse in Malibu, wait three years,

(17:42):
you'll spend fourteen dollars. Yeah, but this is the doomsday part. What
you're not saying is that people inEncino will be able to have ocean front.
That is a very good point. So you know, glass is half
full, man, It's true.In this case, the glac two people.
And then by the way, there'sa team of glaciologists at the University

(18:03):
of California, Irvine, and theymet. They met very very slowly.
They got together, I mean ata glacial pace and did that research and
uh so, honey, you're you'regoing to college. We're so proud.
What are you going to study?Well, that ice melts. Oh I
We're so proud of you. Yeah, okay, all right, so this

(18:26):
is big news. We we aredying as a country. Representative Jasmine Crockett,
Democrat from Texas fire filed a trademarkapplication about the statement she made bleach
blonde, bad built, butch body. This was apparently an insult, seemingly

(18:52):
at Representative Marjorie Taylor Green Republic seeminglyI don't know, so Green spark the
verbal back and forth. If youremember, she said, I don't know.
I don't think you know what you'reyou're here for. I think your
fake eyelashes are messing up what you'rereading, and then it just got really

(19:14):
it got from there. But itwas unbecoming of both quite honestly. But
how can you say, butch body, because even as a liberal to be
because you are totally immune, andit's just gone, it's just gone in
the toilet, all of it.It's got crazy. This is Marjorie Taylor
Green, She's the one that startsall this stuff. But it does ago.

(19:36):
How long ago? Would you neverinterrupt a president during a State of
the Union speech? Ever? Andif you look at Marjorie Taylor Green when
Biden does his, she stands up, she heckles, she boos. I
mean, come on, there's nodecorum. And of course Mike Johnson,
the speaker, would never even askher to shut up, much less throw

(19:56):
her out of the U the chamber. They should have those seats on springs.
They should, and they should orat some points underneath them. Yeah,
the decorum of Congress, please holdit to sulk a semblance. But
now you've got Jasmine Crockett going andfiling a trademark application so she can sell

(20:18):
T shirts. Yeah, yeah, blonde, bad built, butch body on
it. I mean, very goodalliteration, you know, it's very strong.
Yeah, heavy on the bees.Yeah, bleach blonde, bad built,
butch body. Well that's going tobe a song, trust yeah it
will. Oops. I know it'smy turn. We need space. That's

(20:41):
what the San Bernardino Animal Shelter issaying, and that is because starting in
July, Fontana, Colton, andRialto are going to rely on the San
Bernardino Shelter for its animal services. That's going to mean more stray animals are
going to be coming in. They'realso working to expand their foster involve into
your programs. But San Bernardino saysthey brought in six thousand dogs and cats

(21:06):
last year, but with the additionalcities feeding into the San Bernardino Shelter,
they're expecting a closer a number closerto twelve thousand. Yeah, which means
that the heartbreak is that putting downanimals euthanasia is going to go quite a
bit up and it's a shame. There's a very dear friend of mine whose
mom works at an animal shelter andshe quit because they only put down animals

(21:29):
that are very elderly or really sick, and the vet there is just declaring
dogs and cats. This one's sick. This one's sick on the basis it's
a no kill shelter and they justare just over overstalked. They're too full,
and it's just a shame because itwas now today, no kill shelters

(21:49):
are the thing, even with peopleadopting shelter dogs. I have a shelter
dog, for example, my daughterhas a shelter dog. You just,
you know, to take these theseanimals off the streets. We talked about
Friends Animal Society yesterday. They saidif just six percent more people in the

(22:10):
whole US would adopt a dog ora cat, they wouldn't have to do
any euthanism euthanasians. Yeah, none. Yeah, you just can't have Korean
people do it, that's all. What's the matter with you? That's a
plenty plentil reference, and then itends up hurting people. It is a

(22:30):
thing. Start restaurants. Hold ona minute, Neil, you were there
when we came this close to takingthe show into Korea and doing nothing but
uh restaurants that served ong Do youremember that. I don't, oh,
I do it. It was horrible. It was, it was absolutely horrible.

(22:56):
I don't know if it was inPasadena but it was somewhere local.
No, maybe it was out inFresno that there was a family who was
trying to start a restaurant. Theyhad to change the name and move because
people kept grip feeding and throwing rocksthrough the windows saying that they ate dog
and were serving and they weren't.Someone just made that up. Yes,
you know, they never did.I mean, it just it just started

(23:18):
and it became No, it's nothappening in California. No, it's not.
No, it's those things. Yeah, I know, I know,
matter with you. No, youknow, it's I can't say it.
Although the little dogs, man, they just there's just not getting on them.
Okay, we're done, guys, getting a time machine, going back
in time. Yeah, I'm forcingyour parents to hug you. Okay,

(23:41):
we're coming back. Do you thinkthat's worth a couple of emails on that
one? Probably? I hope so, yeah, I hope, so,
I hope. Five. You don'thave to answer them anymore, Neil,
No, I'm not management anymore.None of this pertains to me at all.
I stepped down. Now you're justnow you're just offended and not having
to do anything about it. It'sbecause it's morally impossible to be on this

(24:03):
show and be in management. Okay, in the who Wouldn't Want This?
File? Actor Scarlett Joe Hanson isputting out a statement. She shared with
CNN on Monday that she was shocked, angered, and in disbelief that opening
CEO Sam Altman would use a syntheticvoice that was very similar to hers.

(24:30):
Now, if you remember, shedid a movie called Her, It's actually
an underrated movie. It's very goodand a little creepy, but that uses
her. She's like an ai voiceand becomes almost like a girlfriend to this
guy. Oh not almost. Well, I know it's a little it's a
little weird, and it even getsmore complicated than that. But this artificial

(24:52):
voice, known as Sky is saidto sound a lot lighter now I heard
it. There's similarities, especially Cadenceand the like, but there's only one
Scarlet Johansson. Now do you knowwhat's missing from the story? A lawsuit?

(25:14):
I'm surprised she hasn't filed a lawsuit. She is just shocked, angered,
and in disbelief. Well, theypulled it down for now. It
doesn't matter. You would think thatwould be an instant lawsuit. I am
surprised that it hasn't been filed.Surprised she might not be a litigious price
could be. I mean she mightnot be, although she did go after

(25:37):
Disney at one point, but that'snot litigious going after Disney. That's a
hobby. Well you know what Itell you, how many people have gone
after Disney? Amy. So,Amy's voice has been used. She does
voiceover work, and your voice hasbeen used in mass in things like Ways.
Now could they could someone duplicate thatWay voice or do something and you

(26:03):
go after them? Sure? Wouldyou if it was Waves, if it
was anybody using your voice commercially withoutyour permission or without paying you. Sure?
I don't think with Ways, Iwouldn't have any rights to it because
I kind of send it away.Well, it depends on what they use
it for. If you look atthe contract, I'm sure it's very limited
to only use with the Ways appand within the context of traffic. But

(26:30):
for instance, there's a woman whodid the Surrey voice. Now, if
somebody does a voice that is Surreylike, depends how close it is.
It depends on how we can beconfused with your actual voice. There are
a lot of moving pieces here, but Yeah, if people use their voice

(26:52):
without commercially use someone's voice. Soif somebody takes a bunch of old Pinto's
Ford Pinto's, throws them into acement mixer and tries to recreate your voice
handle, you could sue them.Wow. Yeah, and I'm just thinking
that one through. That's going totake a while. That's going to take

(27:14):
a while. Let's move on.Okay, the FDA may be leaving you
susceptible to skin cancer. Okay, that might be a stretch, But the
FDA has not yet approved a chemicalfilter in sunscreens that are commonly used in
Japan and South Korea and France. They apparently better protect you against UVA light
and help protect against skin aging. And the reason that we haven't approved those

(27:37):
here is because there's a law thatwas passed in nineteen thirty eight that requires
sunscreens to be tested on animals andclassified as drugs as opposed to being cosmetics.
Yeah, you would think they wouldredo that law, especially when you're
talking about skin cancer and an easyway to prevent it. I mean,
you go to the beach and youfind people, you get their arms and

(27:57):
they look at ca Ppepperoni p there'ssomething seriously wrong with those folks. And
can you imagine if that can beaverted. Oh I know somebody, well
we all know somebody who died ofskin cancer and it was horrific. Oh
yeah, it was horrific to watch. Yeah, no, it was.
It was very tough. You knowthose ads you hear about, you know,

(28:19):
somebody stealing the deed dear house orsomething. I don't know if this
falls into that category, but alittle hinky Elvis Presley's granddaughter is suing to
stop a foreclosure sale of the latesinger's historic Memphis home. And this is
really weird because this company is sayingthat Lisa Marie Presley, of course,
who died back in January of twentytwenty three, had borrowed three point eight

(28:42):
million from this new Sinny investment companyor whatever and gave the deed of trust
to Graceland as security. And thegranddaughter, who is you know, the
current owner of the property, says, no, it's crap, and yeah,

(29:03):
it has ever happened, and itis crap. I mean a three
point eight million dollar foreclosure on aproperty that does hundreds of millions of dollars
a year. I mean Graceland isa major theme park and people pay a
lot of money to go through gothrough Graceland, and this is crap.
They should just write a check forthree point eight million dollars. The foreclosure

(29:25):
is gone. No judge is goingto let a foreclosure like Graceland and be
like Disneyland being foreclosed because of adeed for three point eight million dollars.
Come on. The actually went backto the notary and said, you know,
when did this happen? The notaryis I never signed that. Well
that's it. There's none now.Now you have a fraud upon the court
and people are gonna get nailed forthat. All right, guys, we

(29:45):
are done. KFI AM six fortylive everywhere on the iHeartRadio app. You've
