Mitch McCann: US Correspondent on Kamala Harris agreeing to her first interview as the democratic nominee

Kamala Harris has finally agreed to her first interview. 

The Democratic nominee has agreed to an interview on CNN alongside her running mate Tim Walz. 

The interview is set to air at 9pm eastern time, or 1pm Friday afternoon in New Zealand.  

US Correspondent Mitch McCann told Ryan Bridge that Donald Trump has released a press release containing potential questions for Harris to asked. 

Some questions he wants asked are if Harris knew about Joe Biden’s cognitive state, why she decided to stop building the border wall, and why she abandoned her “radical rural position”.

Going to Mitch mccanna, US correspondent. Now, there's been a
semmetry clash apparently, but was involving members of Donald Trump's
campaign team. Mitch, what's going on here?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah, that's right, Good morning, Ryan. Donald Trump arrived at
the Arlington National Cemetery just outside Washington, DC earlier this week,
where he was paying respects to service members who had
died during the withdrawal of Afghanistan a couple of years ago.
Now it allads that two members of Donald Trump's campaign
staff had a verbal and physical altercation with an official

at the cemetery. Now it's reported this confrontation happened because
the cemetery official tried to prevent Donald Trump's staff from
filming and photographing and a section where recent US casualties
are buried. Now law prohibits any political campaigning at the
National Cemetery, and Arlington had provided their own photographer so

photos could be taken. Now there's conflicting stories here because
Donald Trump's team says there wasn't a physical altercation. We
are prepared to release footage if such defamatory claims are made. Meanwhile,
the cemetery says there was an incident and a report
has been filed. So it's some troubling news for Donald Trump.

Goodness, Krmala Harris finally sitting down for an interview, but
she's bringing a friend.

That's right. It's taken some time for Kamala Harris to
agree to do an interview. She's agreed to do one
now with CNN, but it won't be just her and
the correspondent. It will be her alongside her vice presidential candidate,
Tim Wall, So the two of them will be on CNN.
It'll be nine o'clock Eastern time tomorrow night, which will
air around one o'clock Friday afternoon, New Zealand time. Donald

Trump has put out a press release Ryan with suggested
questions for ceing in if they were having trouble coming
up with them themselves. He wants to know did Kamala
Harris know about Joe Biden's cognitive state, why she decided
to stop building the border wall, and why has she

be an interesting interview of Kamala Harrison toon Walls.
