President Donald Trump met the South African president in the
White House yesterday. It was wild. Would you call it

Here the video. It's a video claiming it proved white
genocide against South African farmers. The South African president was like, no, no, no,
this is not what you're saying he denied all the allegations,
calling it crime yes, but not a government policy issue.
Elon Musk was also in the room. He was born
in South Africa. He stayed quiet, but he looked super
visibly upset. The visit was intended to improve relations. Not

sure if that's what happened. They did joke. There was
like a couple lighthearted moments during the visit when the
South African president said he wished the country could give
Trump a plane like Katar did.

Yes, okay, interesting uh. Harris County Judge Lena Hidalgo is
in making headlines because she wants to use more than
twenty thousand dollars in taxpayer dollars for an economic trip
to Paris, but some commissioners think it should be funded
a different way. Today they will meet and this is
on the agenda. The line item says twenty three thousand,

three hundred dollars has been requested by Hidalgo for a
delegation travel thing. She's going to Paris for a week,
and at first all the details were super limited because
Hidalgo said it's a security concern. The argument, these are
public funds. You need to be completely transparent and open
with the money.

this week Shine Down, the lead singer Brent Smith dropped
a little hint that I think fans will be excited about.
He said, the band has been working on their eighth album.
Of course, they're about seventy five percent finished, but you
don't have to wait for that. They're thinking they'll have
two new songs this summer before the album is completely done.

Mean that seems to be the trend now, just release
a little bit at a time. Bands are putting out three, four,
sometimes five songs before the album comes out because I
think that people are because they just assume people aren't
