and what were some of the highlights for you man.

Well, yeah, it was about a thirty five to forty
minute presentation. They asked me to present on, as you said,
Shaudur Sanders and Jalen Milroe, which was great because you know,
I ended up studying just an exorbitant amount of film
and tape. And you know I can compare to cam
Ward because I watched a lot on him. I did
not present on him, but you know, I think the

thing for Milroe, there was a sequence in the Auburn
game five straight plays that kind that kind of they
were consecutive plays. Now there may have been a run
in between, but in terms of the path, five consecutive
passes early in the second quarter, that kind of tells
the story.

He has this beautiful a whole shot.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
A whole shot is a go route against a two
deep defense, and uh, there was just three guys rushing
dropping eight and he just throws this beautiful on tempo,
three step, no hitch it, throws it up the sideline
and and he gets a big completion. Then he comes back.
He throws this deep balls flat footed. He kind of

got flat footed on a double post concept and and
almost flat footing. Takes a little tiny step so it
wasn't directly flat footed. But he throws it sixty one
yards in the area, just flicks it like it's a baseball,
right on target. But the kid dropped it, so you're going, whoa,
that's big time. And then he comes back next he

ball's on the right hash. They run a scissors concept
which is apposted from the outside and a corner rout
from the inside. And you pick a quarterback Josh Allen,
Pat Mahomes, Joe Montana, Tom Brady. There's no quarterback in
the history of football that has ever thrown it better
than what he had, just gorgeous deep down the field

to our boy Jeremy Bernard. Right, so you're just going, man,
this guy, this guy is just a first round draft.
Then he come back and he throws he misses a
read on the sideline. Who's number two for them? That
high school kid number seventeen. Maybe Jackson can help me,
but he's the best receiver for Alabama. I got a
lot of Oh the young kid, yeah, yeah, the seventeen

year old. So he should have thrown it outside to
the side and the balls on the right hash he should
have thrown it at the outrounte of the boundary. But
he's got a little what's called the Texas route. The
running back. Just think think of the running back in
the backfield just going out stopping and then running a
little angle right over the middle five yards like five
yards away, and he skymails this thing over the top,

like if if the running back had a butterfly net,
he might have caught it. But and it's almost picked
off because he overthrows it. And then he comes back
and he throws a seam route where he just the

catches it for an interception.

So just in a five place sequence, he looks.

income and that was just in the Auburn game. He
had a similar sequence in the Michigan game. And and
where where he throws this beautiful wheel route up the
sideline and then a fade route that that the vast

underthrows on the go round, and then he can't manufacture
a touchdown on a corner out that's wide open. He's
laid and it's and it's you know, caught five yards
out of bounds and and so it's just it's like
a yo yo, I think it's it's it's uh, it's
like being on a roller coaster with him, because the

These are plays designed for tailbacks. When you put the
Q in front of it, you're saying the quarterbacks running it.

understand it. So Milro's in in the shotgun and about
midfield and he and he looks reads like he's gonna
go read zone and well you look, you think he's
looking to his left at the at the defensive end

to decide whether to give or keep. Well he keeps,
and he's like, no, no, no, you watch the end zone.
He's he doesn't look at him, he's not reading at all.
It's a fake read zone Q follow. I'll just use
terms of people. He is going to He's gonna follow
Kenneth Walker right up the middle of the defense where
linebackers can smack him and safeties can smack but you

and so you can do schemes with him that are
just I mean, he's just he He's a breathtaking athlete
and his best throws are as good as anybody on
the planet, and his worst, oh boy, it's like, you know,
watching it's like not watching Friday night because the varsity

selective discrete where they go to a city and they just,

thing for Milroe, there was a sequence in the Auburn
game five straight plays that kind that kind of they
were consecutive plays. Now there may have been a run
in between, but in terms of the path, five consecutive
passes early in the second quarter, that kind of tells
the story.

He has this beautiful a whole shot.

A whole shot is a go route against a two
deep defense, and uh, there was just three guys rushing
dropping eight and he just throws this beautiful on tempo,
three step, no hitch it, throws it up the sideline

He throws this deep balls flat footed. He kind of

got flat footed on a double post concept and and
almost flat footing. Takes a little tiny step so it
wasn't directly flat footed. But he throws it sixty one
yards in the area, just flicks it like it's a baseball,
right on target. But the kid dropped it, so you're going, whoa,

ball's on the right hash. They run a scissors concept
which is apposted from the outside and a corner rout
from the inside. And you pick a quarterback Josh Allen,
