you haven't.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Made damatoids when I come here?

Speaker 4 (00:15):
You just you did it for radio's already.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I'm a fake. I'm a fake and I know it.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I've been trying to get you on our show since
Bowdeck Yellow we had twenty seventeen.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Yeah, because I know I've been scheduled here one hundred times.
Are you guys avoiding me?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
No?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
No, we thought it was the other way. We thought
you hated us. What did we do? Who did it? Scary? Probably?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Well? Yes?

Speaker 4 (00:40):
No, no, no, no, you guys.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Think you guys goes? Was that was that O twenty?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
It's over.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Exists? Yeah, I just had it.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I had it like a month ago. No way, I
swear to you, and it was I had to have
the medicine. I had one hundred and three fever.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
They are now new and improved versions of it. Yeah,
so exciting.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
When I used to get a cold, I just used
to get a cold, But ever since COVID, when I
get a cold, I also get diarrhea.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Let's talk about it.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Have you ever had COVID?

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Yeah, like three times, yes, and like like really bad,
Like I just really didn't want to eat. I always
eat when I have a cold. I just my nose
is stuffy. But ever since COVID cold, I have a
cold and there I don't know. It's just miserable pain
and yeah, and like you even get nauseous.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Well, don't get that. You don't have it right now?
Do you forgot to say? We'll all find out we
don't have drains in the floors. We should build those.
I guess. Hey, so today here it is. Album is
out today? Am I the Drama? Your second studio album
of course? And then you've got a baby on the way.
You look fabulous and courked. I don't care about any
of that. I'm just happier here just just having you

(02:01):
in the room with me. I'm just like my tail
is if I had a tail, it'd be wagged.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
I mean so happy to you just bee like the
type of person that has fun and you'd want to
hang out with. That's that's how you've seen.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Oh well, no, no, you know have fun.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
This is a lie.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Why do you like to have normally? I just like
to be in my bed and gossip all day. That's
my fun in the bed.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, well, you've always been sort of a drama queen,
right or do you do it on purpose? Or you're
a magnet people?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Just I'm just a magnet, right? Or maybe I am
dramatic because when I was in high school, I was
voted most dramatic, And it's like, but how well I was?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
You did something to make people think you're a dramatic
a little bit?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
No, you know what I think it is.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
I think that you are more honest than most people
that are like part of the industry, and because of that,
it makes other people talk like, who's gonna tell us
that they get diarrhea once they have a cold?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
You?

Speaker 5 (02:57):
But I think that you being honest is really refreshing
and daring, but it also gets you at You.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Do get me a lot, even even like when I
was in school, like I'm just too much. I think
I was born, you know, more.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Guy friends than girlfriends growing up.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yes, but I'm a real true guy friend girl, Like
I'm not. I'm the type of person that I said
that a boy is my friend. I didn't slept with him.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Okay, A friendship there's.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
A real friendship.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Also, the new album I guess as I'm hearing it's
out today. By the way, am I the drama? Yeah,
it's about you being outspoken. You say what's on your mind.
There is no filter or just not a lot of
filter on you. If you have something on your mind,
it's gonna come out your mouth.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah, And it's just like expressing like a lot of
different things that I feel. It's a lot of turn
up songs, you know what I'm saying, because I like
to have fun, but it is like a lot of
like my old relationship dating again, girls I don't like?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Do you name names? Are we gonna know the Is
there a song of the album called I Don't like These girls?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I should name the album bet.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Daniel being from the Bronx, we hear her stories all
the time getting into fights with the girls on the
school buses. They would put lemon under their nails, so
if they scratch each other it makes it sting. Well,
is this what they're growing up in? The Bronx is
all about?

Speaker 3 (04:18):
But they will put salt on a blade, so if
they cut you, the wound will be hard to heal.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh God, I'm telling you I through what kind of
world are we living in?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I was in the wrong place at.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
The wrong time once and this girl, the whole bunch
of people came to my bus. Everyone was beating everybody up.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
It was a mess.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Button This girl kept spitting on me and I'm telling you,
I had to take like twenty showers to get it.
It was the most disgusting thing. It was insane.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
But you look like you wasn't even getting into trouble.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Me.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, I was. I was good, But I just feel like,
I just feel like some people in the wrongs, they
just wake up to pick on you.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
I am the am I the drama because it's like
sometimes like some girls would try me and I'm like,
I know for a fact, I ain't doing nothing, And
why am I on the train and a girl's asking
me what you're looking at? And I'm not even looking
at you? For real.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
She woke up that her goal for the day is Yeah, yeah,
it's jealousy, she thought, maybe jealousy.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Maybe.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I mean, you know what I'm saying that when you
wake up in a certain situation the project, you just
wanna fight everybody. You're just mad. Every day.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
You want to hear your Bronx girl.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Not too long ago, I was dancing for dollars.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
No, one's really rude if I let you meet my mama.
You don't want a girl like me.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
I'm too crazy for young girl.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
You mean from the North Bronx.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
What's the difference there's the South Bronx in the North Bronx. Yeah,
I don't want of friends in the South Bronx. Tons
of friends in the South Bronx.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Well, everybody practical, I mean, because like you have to
take the six train.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
And yeah it's then yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah that's Yankees
or Mets.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
I'm I'm a I'm a Rest Sox fan.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Oh my gosh, out today cardivate?

Speaker 1 (06:09):
How did that happen?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
And I don't care, like I'm like a Knicks but
I also like, like I cheer for like lebron and
like players that I like. But I'm a real diehard
Red Sox fan. It's like I'm I'm in their gang.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
But how does that?

Speaker 3 (06:24):
I feel like I'm in a gang? You know, growing
up Dominic it was like all the best Dominican players there.
So it's like my dad, he's a big Rest Sox fan,
a lot of my uncles are Rest Sox fans, like
I come from a Red Sox fan.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Wow, I am shocked Dane people.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Sometimes sometimes like people be like, oh, imagine if you've
performed for a Yankee game and stuff like that, and
it's like I would love it, of course, because the
Yankee stadium do mean a lot to me because I
live like ten blocks from the I can stay. I'm
growing up. But then again it's like, but I will
be a trader. I get it.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
I feel you because I would never put a Red
Sox hat on my head, like in my house, that
is that does not happen.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Yes, like I will not put a Yankee hat on
my head, not for fashion or nothing.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
We got to get forfair thing here.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Talk about the album. Talk about what you're so excited
that's happening in this album. What are you most excited
about in.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
This album that is finally out?

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Okay, Well, you know it's like having a baby.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Man having a baby. I really I really feel like
I just feel like so emotional today. Like it's just
like everybody always like be like, oh I owe it
to like the little girl me. But it's like I
feel like I keep thinking about like eighteen to twenty
two year old me that like try to figure it
out so much, And it's like I really oil to her,
like cause I am so proud of you girl, like

(07:52):
you was wondering for such a long time and you're
here again.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Such it must feel great.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
It feels great.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
You have people, maybe little girls, come up to you
and go, you know what, you have helped me get
through this. You've helped me get through that because of
your honest, forthcoming nature. I'm more like that now. Yeah,
was there someone in your childhood that did that for you,
someone that you looked up to that really kind of
pulled you out of the shell.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Not really, I just had like people around that I
know that I didn't want like their hardship, even like
when I was a dancer, like the older dancers used
to be like every four years the club get worse.
Try to get out of here before you're thirty. Stack
your money, like they'll tell you. So it's like that's
what I not look up to. But it's like try it,

(08:38):
like not to be in that situation.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Right, So it wasn't always getting the advice. It's also
seeing it by for example, like making it for yourself.
I gotta get out of here.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
You know what, a lot of people go through life
and they don't have any idea what's going on around that.
They don't pay attention. If you pay attention, you can
actually learn things. If you listen to people, you can
actually learn something. Yeah, all right, We've got to play
a song from am I the Drama card these new album.
It's coming up for you after this, I.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Want to hear all the crazy stuff that Gandhi can't

Speaker 1 (09:44):
However, don't you drive did you ever get your license?

Speaker 3 (09:48):
I don't drive, and you know what, lately, I've been
getting like cravings at a random time, and I just
be getting so mad because it's like, if only I
knew how to drive, I could get these.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Things, where would you go?

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Like?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Where are you getting cravings for eleven.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
O'clock at night? So I'm like a real ice freak, right,
ice freak? Yeah? Like I can I just eat any ice?
Because you could go too. You could go to four
different chick fil A's right, just because it's Chick fil A.
The ice are not gonna be the same in every location.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
There's not some standards that they live on, no, because.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Like some fridges just work better than the others. So
I just know the places and it's like, wow, I
really wish I could drive and get some ice right now.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
The money you do that this is your goal, learning
how to drive, You have any car you want.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
It's getting to the point that I think it is
becoming a phobia. You're not alone, and then it's like
then people are gonna want me to drive, right Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
If you never learned, you never have to.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Stay safe, nay head gun.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
Is there anybody that you've met, because they say never
meet your heroes that you meet and you were so
excited and you're kind of like, well, damn not what
I thought it was gonna be.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
I don't really have like a hero. I just like
have people that is like, I'm just like a fan
of their music and they work. But I really don't
want to be like their friend or something like that,
like because they're just people. That is like, I know
I love your art, but I know that me and
you are very different. What would there be to talk about?

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Okay, nothing at all.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
So that it's like if we meet, we were like hey, hey,
and then it's.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Like how's the weather like one of those things.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Well that's the thing.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Though.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
You grow up listening to someone who just love their music,
you love their voice, and you continue to admire their music.
That's enough. Yeah, I mean I think it actually makes
them more exciting to you if you're not finding out
that they get diarrhea.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Yeah, I don't want to know that.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Well I kind of would like to know that, but
it's like I just want to be a fan of you,
and I don't want to be disappointed by you because
it's like you the person that made me cry, and
you're so freaking boring and corny and your joke sucks.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
It's better to keep that.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yeah, the window down fantasy.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
That makes sense to me.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Oh, I feel like there's all kinds of relatable stuff
that you can find with people you mentioned a couple
of years ago. I think that one of the things
you notice with rich people. It doesn't matter how rich
they are, they will still steal your phone charger.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Yes, relatable. This rule will steal your phone charger.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I have forty You.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Look like you look like you have it in your
mustard yellow.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Did you bring your phone charger? I bet you can't
fight it? I got it.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
They get lost all the time.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
I put my name on mine.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
A girl, there's no I don't care.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
What do you think, Danielle.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
I know you said that you're not a fun you'd
rather be sleeping and whatever else.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
But I don't believe it.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
I think you're like, oh, no, when I when I'm
when I go out, I'm gonna have a time. Okay,
if I'm gonna what are.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
You gonna do?

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Like if you have a day off, what what does
cardib do?

Speaker 3 (12:58):
I'm either like catching up on things. I'm either way
my family, because my family is fun. My family is
a good time. Like it's not like my family and
we just pray and go to church. No, my family
wasted listening to music, you know, being I'm in a relationship.
So it's like you know, like getting crazy pregnant. Yeah, yeah,

(13:20):
you day what you did last night?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
We got pregnant?

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Yeah yeah, you.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Are the kids excited there's another baby.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
On the way.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Yeah, you don't sound convincing.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
No, because I'm starting to know a lot about my
daughter's character. She listens and she looks, but she don't
say nothing. She's just my her business.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
She's processing.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Yeah, but she knows before you go.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
We got to talk about your court date. First of all,
how do you figure out what you're wearing the court
that day? Like do people take you know, CARDI, you
should think about wearing this and this or you're like,
I'll wear what I want.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
But I didn't wear nothing crazy.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
No you didn't. But that was a decision, was it not?

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Yeah? Yeah, like you gotta I like to dress like
real modest, like I came here to you. You gotta win,
like the jurors side, and yeah, but it's like that's
how I really take it very serious. I'm not trying
to lose. This is my third losses that I want.
So I did not know I was gonna be on camera.
And when I found out I was was gonna be

(14:22):
on camera, I was like, you gotta be kidding me.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
It wasn't like you're going to a restaurant. This is
this was a very very private yes day for you.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Yes, And I'm like, I'm tired, I'm sleeping, I'm aggravated
because you know, I'm like on an album promotion run
and everything. But God just works in so mysterious way.
People loved it and I was like, okay, and I
was like, you was being so funny. I was like,
I wasn't being funny. I was being for real.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Hilarious. Asked one question about the album real quick.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Yeah, well we have to get back to the album
and we gotta we gotta role Okay, I gotta play
some music.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
You have a lot of collapse on this album. Which
one was the most fun or the least fun if
you want to think about that one.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
It's a lot of them that it was like the
least fun, but no, it's but it wasn't like it's
at all because it's just because I wanted it like
very perfection. So if the artist is writing the hook
is like I like what you're saying, but it's not
really fitting what I want to talk about. So I

(15:26):
hate asking an artist to go back again keep going
back again, because it's like if you told me to
go back again, I be like, I go one more time,
but I go it again. So that was like the
worst part of it. But the greatest part of it
was when it's like, aha, we got it perfect, thank
you so much girl. Done deal, done deal. That's the

(15:48):
only that's the only like it's like, oh, so frustrating,
but nobody gave me a hard time. It's just like
I have a vision in my head and I have
to hear it like this.

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Anybody get it on the first go?

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Yes, Lizzo, I love her.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
She's been on that chair so many times. We love
love it. I that okay A collaboration for the song
safe I'm gonna play saved in the second.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Oh yeah, got it first right away. It's not even
like not getting it. It's just like, sometimes I don't
know i'd express myself, especially when it comes like to
lovey dovey stuff. So I just be like telling them like, Okay,
this is what I hear. Listen to me. I know
it's hard to explain, and the and the artist be
like sure, I'll try again. It's like I don't know,

(16:36):
like the serve vocabularies, but I know what's in my head.
I know what melody I wanted.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
It was safe, you got it, Yes, let's play it.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
The album of course, am I the drama yea. Cardi B.
Is so great, heaving you here today, thank.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
You, Today's your day, Today's baby. This is a
