Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Okay, so yeah, it's true, you can actually speak to
someone at Amazon. I've never had the opportunity or the
pleasure of having to speak to someone at Amazon. Usually
they just handle everything online. But our own Sam, Samantha,
So what happened? How did you actually speak to an
Amazon person? An Amazonian?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
It was difficult.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
I found the number online because when they deliver a package,
they send a photo for proof of delivery, which they
did have. But the only problem was that wasn't my door,
so I have no idea where they delivered the package.
So I needed to get a person to kind of
clear all this up, which I eventually got on the phone,
and unfortunately, they listed all of the items that was
in that delivery, which I was really hoping they weren't

(00:45):
going to do.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
So okay, so they said, okay, producer Sam from the
Olustran Morning Show, thanks for talking to us here at Apazode.
Just like that, Let's go through the list of items
from the box that's now missing. Let's see all was
in that box. Can you list some of the items.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Yeah, all normal stuff. I had, like these cough drops,
I really like in them. I had socks. It was
just kind of a necessary home order. I had a
thing of toilet paper.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Okay, so they were listing this this person is human
guy or woman? Which one? A man was listing these items,
and then it got to which.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Item a normal, no funny business brand of underwear that
I bought?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
And I can say it because this is a brand name.
The brand name is Kucie.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Okay. Yeah, So so how did that conversation go? The
man talking about your Kouchie panties?

Speaker 4 (01:34):
He paused before he said just that one item, and
then he goes Cuchie underwear and then like yep, and
then he got a little uncomfortable, So then I got uncomfortable.
So then I had to make jokes, which made it
so much worse.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
There's a Lacucie, aren't they?

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yes, Lacoucie, that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yeah, it's very French, la cuci organic or would be Lucie,
which would be I don't know, I.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Think it's law.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Lah.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
So if you're going to go through all the fiery
hoops to get to a live person at Amazon, this
is not the conversation you want to have with a guy.
Could you have asked for a woman to uh talk
to you about the couci.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
If I knew he was gonna list things, you know what,
I should have asked that in there when he's like
we're going to go over everything to get like, no,
please send me to a woman.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
But I just will.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Here's the thing, LACOUCHI is. It's an it's a legitimate brand.
It's not you know, these aren't sex toys or anything.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
No, no, no.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
But have you ever ordered sex toys from Amazon?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I don't get them from Amazon? Answer that question?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Why not? They have everything?

Speaker 6 (02:39):
Why?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Why would you not order sex toys from Amazon?

Speaker 5 (02:42):
Well?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Not after this phone call, I'm scarred.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Well, I know if they lose it, if they lose
your delivery, just let it go.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Maybe totally screwed.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I mean they have everything, don't They do have sex
toys at Amazon? Do they not?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Oh? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Anything? Literally everything there, even if friends at Dongyear like
our stuff's there.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
Well, I have a.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Question, what's the restarch hold on delongey has sex toys?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
That's yeah, that's what I heard. No, they're espresso machines, okay,
are on Amazon?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I'm sure? What was that, Danielle, what's.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
The restocking on sex toys. Do you like to Like?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Amazon will ask you question if you return something like
has this been used?

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Has enough?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
And then we say if you say even if it
has been and you say it hasn't been, do they
just go and restock that.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
I'm just curious.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Sometimes you got to buy something that says you could
buy a used option a little cheaper refurbish. Yeah, I
don't want that one. Oh, I bet there's people in
that we would pay extra for that, people like Scotty By.
Scotty's just two up in his mouth. It's okay. Well,
here's the thing, though, I see, I don't I know

(03:45):
you can save money by buying what's it called when
they do we do their phones, recondition them or whatever
referb it. I know you can save money doing that
with phones and stuff like that, and apparently they clean
them out very well, I've heard. I just can't get
over the fact that I'm using something that someone else
has used, not because of filth or grime, because of
the cooties, like the like the vibe, like they put

(04:09):
their bad omen on it. You know, I don't know,
I don't want It's like buying a diamond ring that
was in someone on someone's finger at a wedding. Do
you want to buy that?

Speaker 1 (04:17):
No? Am I taking I'd have to have it blessed first.
I'd have to take it from the pawn shop, get
it blessed first.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Okay, so you're buying jewelry that needs to be blessed.
How did we get to this point in our lives?
I never bought refurbished stuff. Have you ever bought refurbished stuff?

Speaker 5 (04:34):
Yeah, of course I have definitely.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yes, some stuff you can pretty much guarantee it hasn't
touched anybody's parts, So so I'm okay purchasing.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
It, right, How can you guarantee.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Well, a mirror, pretty sure. I've seen videos, so they
do all sorts of things.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
And I bought my mama refurbished Apple Watch. Now should
I have thought twice about that?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
If touch the prives, you don't want it?

Speaker 5 (05:01):
No, why would you want them from?

Speaker 2 (05:06):
That's where Nate draws the line. You'll answer the question, Nate,
I'm not going to answer that question. If whatever item
has touched the prives, and you know there are other
parts of the body that are grosser, I guess I
don't knows are we talking about here, So you can't. Okay,
if I'm going to buy this we furbished phone, I

(05:28):
need to know what the person looked like. No, who
had it before? You can't do that. So health on
these things.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
And let me tell you my cousin. My cousin, my
nephew worked at Amazon for a very long time, and
he told me about returns that they took back that
they probably shouldn't, but Amazon would take it back.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
So everything's coming through there. I'm just saying, I don't.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Know do they burn them, do they put them in
a crematorium and fry them up?

Speaker 1 (05:53):
They just he had he just got them in and
like you know, wrote them up and stuff.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
I don't know what happened to them after the fact.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
So I know, ye, none of this stuff bothers me
because we spend our whole lives going in and out
of hotel rooms, which is pretty much refurbished.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Thousands and thousands of people have been through that room.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Very true, very true.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
So them who careious about a phone or a mattress
or you know whatever.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Well, I think I think the point is you want
to control it as much as you can control it.
Hotel rooms can't be controlled as well as you know
what I order from Amazon, I think, yeah, all right,
So what happened at the end of the call about
your Kuchie underwear.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Yeah, they refunded everything, which was great. I reordered.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I just hope someone has fun opening my package. I
hope they're not a stand up citizen and don't bring
it back to me and they enjoy it for themselves.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
It's just having that conversation. It's like checking out at
the grocery store. Have you seen the videos of these
guys that go through the line at the grocery store.
They'll start off, you know, on video, with a box
of Magnum condoms and they scan it, and then they'll
a big cucumber, and then they keep they keep panting

(07:07):
the camera to the face of whoever's checking They'm out
to see if they'll ever respond to the crazy combination
of things they're scanning out. Oh my god, I could
just stay on Instagram all day long. TikTok is my
best friend.
