Speaker 1 (00:03):
Transmitting let's go more a studio.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
All right, let's go around the room and say what's
up by the way, Budy good bye? Ye.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Yeah, it is.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Yawning mid yawn.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
No, I was trying to fop my ears.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
It's early. I get it. You have the right to yawn,
but it's kind of an unspoken role. Amy's doing it.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Now.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
There's we're all in the studio and the one person yawns.
It's contagious and we try not to do it in
front of each other.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Mine wasn't a yawn.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
It's like you know, when you're on an airplane, you
kind of stretch your ears so they pop.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
That's what I'm feeling, right, No, No, that was Ian.
So what what do you mean, I don't know my ears?
Just yeah, let's go to Eddie first. He really wants
the Cowboys to win the super Bowl. It could actually
happen because they're on a roll. Guys, guys, I feel terrible.
I feel terrible.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
So New Year knew me, right. I decided to delete
all my old emails.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, you talked about it a lot, yes, but now
you keep going, oh no.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Because I keep remembering, like, oh my gosh, I forgot
so like last month, I got an email from someone
in the company saying that another Eddie Garcia needs to
turn in a picture of his driver's license to complete
his employment with iHeart and I was like, oh, I
got to remember to forward this or respond to them
and say, hey, you have the wrong Eddie Garcia.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Why did you do that immediately?
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I just I just didn't didn't get to it. Yeah,
he was so busy.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
It takes twenty seconds, right, but Eddie, this man reply
wrong Eddie Garcia.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
That was quickly I thought to myself like, oh, remember
this when I get back.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
And now the guys can get fired because.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I have no idea how to get a hold of them.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Like I deleted that email and so now someone probably
doesn't have a job because of me.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
He's probably fine. I'm sure they didn't go you know what,
he ha't get back with this.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
They said they needed that. By the end of the year.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
God, I was gonna do a control a delete, which
is all emails. Yeah, because you inspire me. But now
you're uninspiring me because of all every.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Day you're like, oh I need that, I do need it,
need that.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Okay, Well, thank you for your story.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
At all.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
If he's not doing a prank call, then maybe he's
singing to strangers at a bathroom stall. It's lunchblock.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Let's take a trip back down to Christmas last year,
you know, December twenty fifth, and I want to know
ask you guys' opinion.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
My wife worked hard all day. She cooked an.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
Entire meal for everybody, the turkey, the ham, the sides, everything,
And into the night. We sit down and I'm like, man,
I am exhausted. She goes, You're exhausted. I had to
cook all day. And I said, I had to entertain
the kids all day, like three kids entertainment all day
while you cooked. I had to keep them out of
the kitchen. And she goes, it is so much harder
(02:42):
to cook than it is to entertain the kids. And
we got in a little I would say, Tiff, So
now I bring to you the dumb debate of the day,
because it still gets brought up here we are a
couple weeks later. What is more exhausting cooking or entertaining
the kids.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Entertaining the kids it's so hard because kids attention spans
are so short that you've got to stay on things.
It's not like entertaining a friend a child is hard
to entertain.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
That's a lot of work, Lunch Amy.
Speaker 7 (03:11):
No, it's the cooking all day, especially a huge meal
for multiple people, and you've got one oven. You're having
to coordinate what time something comes in, what time something
goes out.
Speaker 8 (03:20):
There's so many recipes to follow. You have to.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
It's very stressful at times for the holiday meals because
of that.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
So here's the side that I fall to. Only one
of you have done both jobs. No, not you to
Lunch's wife has had to manage their three kids for
a whole day, and she had to cook Thanksgiving dinner.
She is the only one not his kids though. True,
(03:49):
so she's the only one who actually knows which one's
harder because she's done them both. Because you don't cook,
you have a cook, like a big Thanksgiving dinner, she
would life, yeah, Christmas. Yeah, So I would say only
because of that, because I don't really know, because I
don't do either. You don't have to because she's done
on both. I tend to agree with what she says.
(04:12):
She's knowledgeable in it.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
I think women are better at entertaining kids well, because listen, like.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Wait, no, no, women are better at cooking. Okay, Okay.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
After the show's driver's test, it was proven she's not
the worst. But while she's also still not the best,
here she has amen.
Speaker 8 (04:31):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (04:31):
So Happy Light is a thing that I have started,
and I want to bring it in and we can
all use it. I got it on Amazon. It's like
thirty nine dollars. They're and a four dollars off coupon.
But anyway, it's this little thing a little bit bigger
than this phone, sort of looks like a mini iPad
ish and you set it up and the light shines
(04:52):
on you, and it's supposed to be equivalent to like a.
Speaker 8 (04:55):
Couple of coffee.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
So we have to do any of the work. No,
so if you put this light on your desk, we're
all going to feel like we have No.
Speaker 7 (05:01):
I'm going to plug it in and have it on
my desk for an hour and then I can come
put it over by you.
Speaker 8 (05:07):
No, I didn't.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
I have them at the house. It's terrible. My wife
on it actually pisses me off.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Makes you why it's it's so bright, they're setting Yes,
bring it in.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
I'm not against it.
Speaker 6 (05:19):
People use it for you know, Bobby, you really think
there's light, this artificial light that everybody says you should
get away from. Artificial light. Screen time is making you mood.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Do you really think that bottle that's supposed to clean
the water that sits there every day, that you that you.
Speaker 7 (05:37):
You don't change the battery or whatever, Bobby, I just
say I would like to see it, okay, and if
it works and it's not annoying, even if it's placebo.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
It's going to be annoying. Bones, trust me. I have
it in my kitchen, My wife has it on. Every
time I walk my I turn it off.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Less happy all right, Ray, get me from Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
Speaker 9 (05:58):
It's cold outside, so he's in a chunky sweater. He's
for sure a trendsetter, Bobby Bones. I have two shows
I'm gonna tell you about. First of all, the show
is called Bodies on Netflix. It is a show where
it's down four different times, four different times. There's a
dead body that shows up in this alley, and it's
it's a cop in each timeline eighteen something, nineteen forty today,
(06:24):
and then one different cop one in the future, a
different cop, different person, but it's the same exact body
and their feet trying to figure it out. It's how
all the cops try to figure out the same type.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
But it's it's good.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, it's good. It's eighty one percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
My wife liked it a lot too, So I'm gonna
recommend Bodies and it's only a one season limited series.
There's also another show that we are to the final
episode right now called Foolmy Once Anybody In. So it's
(06:57):
a book that was written and a lot of the
stuff we started during the Christmas cause we just had
all day to watch. It's like seventy five percent positive
Rotten Tomatoes. The weird part of it is that it's
a British show, so I have subtitles on, but they're
still talking English. It's a stupid accent. Yeah. So, after
her husband is brutally murdered, Maya spots someone on the
(07:18):
nanny cam that she has installed to keep an eye
and her young daughter that looks like her husband who's
supposed to be dead. Oh so we watched that, and
I'm close to Bodies. I give four out of five. Well, Bodies.
I'm a day away from giving your view for this one. Okay,
I want the finale to happen. It comes off at
times a little cheesy because the have like music that comes up,
but it's just the British of it.
Speaker 7 (07:40):
I'm watching a subtitle show too, but it's in Spanish,
so you have to keep up because they talk fast.
Speaker 8 (07:45):
And it's called Berlin.
Speaker 7 (07:46):
It's the prequel to Money Heist, which I never saw.
Speaker 8 (07:50):
I never saw Money.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
You can watch in real order Berlin then Money Heist.
There's no prequel.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
This is Spanish, a movie about Berlin's in Spanish.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Is his name Berlin?
Speaker 8 (07:57):
His name is Berlin. Yeah, and there they heist things.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Do you like it?
Speaker 7 (08:02):
I'm one episode in and I didn't think I was
gonna like it because of the subtitles, but I am.
I think I'm moving on, like, I think I'm going
to finish it, and I feel like because I'm having
to keep up and read so fast. It's like I'm
watching TV and I'm entertained. But it's also exercising my brain.
Speaker 10 (08:19):
It's good for you to think that, Yeah, you're reading here,
you are telling I'm playing video games. It's helping my simulus.
I'm only giving me young.
Speaker 8 (08:30):
Here subconsciously bringing in another language.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
All right, time to open up the mail bag.
Speaker 9 (08:36):
You friend and game mail, and we read it all
the air to pick something we call Bobby's mailbag.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, hello Bobby. My daughter is extremely active in school,
sports clubs and community service. Her weekends are so packed
that she barely has time to rest. I'm proud of
her dedication, but I'm worried she's over extending herself and
she might burn out. Should I step in and then
says she cuts back? Or trust her to manage her
own schedule, Signed mom of an extremely active student. If
(09:08):
the things aren't getting in the way of the things
that are important, then you should let her do the things,
because she'll she'll let you know she's burnt out.
Speaker 7 (09:16):
Did she say the age again? Sorry I missed that.
I wish this was mort that's important.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Yeah, I wish my kids were working too much, doing
too many extracurricular activities this community.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Service so no.
Speaker 7 (09:29):
One of my friends literally the other day was like, Oh,
my daughter, she like wakes up before I do on
school days, and she's gotten so much.
Speaker 8 (09:35):
Done by the time I wake up.
Speaker 7 (09:37):
And my friend wakes up early too, But her daughter's
just so ambitious. She's setting the alarm at like four
forty five in the morning, and she's in high school,
and I'm like, so she can like do.
Speaker 8 (09:47):
Some studying and get more done.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
It's awesome.
Speaker 8 (09:50):
My friend's like she's making me look bad, Like I
feel that.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Mom, I would say, this is not the thing to
stress about.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
I agree with that.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
You got a little capacity in you for stress, and
you can fill it with the things that are worthy
of that hopefully, and this is not that.
Speaker 8 (10:06):
But also she probably wants her kid now, like have
a good time.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
But her kid might be having a good time doing this, okay,
Because I would often be told, hey, you're working too much.
You're gonna die, which yes, both are probably true. Who
tell you that, Oh, they're probably true. I have probably
worked in too much and I will die eventually. However,
if I didn't love what I was building, I don't
always love the everyday part of it. But if I
wasn't loving what I was building, I wouldn't do it.
And if I didn't love it, I wouldn't be good
at it because I wouldn't put so much into it.
(10:29):
So let her do that. She'll figure it out. She'll
want to cut back some and do more others, but
don't be stressed about this. Be stress about what she's
hiding from you, not what she's put doing it in
front of you.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
All right, that's the nailbout.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
We got your gammail and we laid on you.
Speaker 9 (10:45):
Now it's fund the clothes Bobby's failed.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Die dem so excited to check in on this because
before we went away for break, Ammy was told she
had to watch like all ten Saw movies. Remember she
spawled hit the Wheel of Punishment and watch how many
of you have to watch?
Speaker 8 (11:01):
Ten? Ten?
Speaker 2 (11:02):
And there were There were a lot of options, and
some options were much easier than this, but that's what
it landed on. So she just watched all ten Saw movies. Crazy?
Have you watched any of them?
Speaker 8 (11:10):
Three?
Speaker 9 (11:11):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Really?
Speaker 8 (11:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (11:13):
And I was starting for I'm just exhausted because I
also was trying to watch other movies on the break. Okay,
the first one I had seen originally, but we visited it,
which the first one was nice because that one's actually free.
It's the only one I haven't had.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
To rent so far, not ten seventy one. It feels like, okay.
Speaker 8 (11:29):
So well, you know I'm bad at spoiling.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Don't spoil? What did what did you do Okay, did
you like it more or less than you thought?
Speaker 8 (11:36):
I hate them all?
Speaker 7 (11:37):
Okay, okay, I hate them all. This is I don't
like too. I don't like Jigsaw. So two gets a
little interesting because Donnie Wahlberg joins the cast. He's a detective,
so I kind of like that, Yeah, you know, familiar face.
The first one just some of the scenes is a
little much. No, they're all much.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
They're all much.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
The first one, they're in a bathroom and it's just
mostly focusing on these two guys and then a dead
guy that's laying there.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
The bathroom.
Speaker 7 (12:10):
Well there's flashbacks you understand Jigsaw's life, but pretty much
you're in a bathroom. Second one's in a house and
there's a bunch of people that are brought together, and
then you've learned this was kind of cool too. Not
only is the detective brought in because he's trying to
catch Jigsaw, but the people that are brought together, turns
out they're all connected and they start to discover that.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
And so Jigsaw's this guy who's making people make a
tough decision.
Speaker 7 (12:37):
Basically, what I'm gathering is like he wants people to
put together the puzzle and end up or whatever the
he has, like something really complicated.
Speaker 8 (12:49):
They have to end up solving in a way.
Speaker 7 (12:51):
But it's always a moral dilemma or choosing between right
and wrong, or you've got to make this decision and
then this will happen, or to save these people, you
need to do this.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
I don't understand. Is he kidnapping people and then putting
them in the bathroom, the bathroom in the house.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
The first thing that you don't find out.
Speaker 7 (13:07):
You don't find out that the people that wake up
in the bathroom, they wake up there, they don't even
know how they got there.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Dang, I want to watch this, Okay.
Speaker 7 (13:15):
In the third one, oh gosh, the third one, I
don't even remember. Oh the third one, I was surprised.
I can't say this part though, what because I don't
know if it'll give it away. Don't give away there
they're all basically the same.
Speaker 8 (13:29):
Then the third.
Speaker 7 (13:29):
One, well, I feel like Mike if I say that, Okay,
I'm not gonna say.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
I don't even know what you said. Okay, good, But
what do they are? There's any change like fundamentally in
the show from one, two and three.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
Uh, well not one two three so far I feel
like maybe after three things could shift.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
Are you curious about jigsaw storyline? Now?
Speaker 8 (13:53):
Especially in three, you get real curious about his.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Because I feel like something must have bad happening. I
already feel bad for Jigsaw.
Speaker 7 (13:58):
He did have an experience, dude though, But I know,
but bad there.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
I don't think there's inherent bad.
Speaker 7 (14:04):
Right, he had an experience that now makes him want
to test morally people.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
And as the other people who've done bad, are all
the people locked up bad people?
Speaker 3 (14:14):
I don't because.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Dexter, I root it for Dexter. Next was a killer,
but he went and kill bad people, and I'm like.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Let's go Doxter.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
But then as the way he puts it, he says,
there are people who don't value life.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I like it.
Speaker 7 (14:25):
Well, yeah, but then there's also like the doctor that
he forced.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
The bag and she's okay. The thing is like later
in the movie descriptions, they explain more about jacksauce.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
So I don't feel like like.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
As you review, him's probably spoiling it.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
But later down the line they spoil themselves.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Okay. True, And you've watched three, when do you plan
to watch the other seven? Because I'm going to ask
you about each other.
Speaker 8 (14:48):
What is my timeline? Again?
Speaker 7 (14:49):
I just couldn't I know. Okay, well, I guess sometimes
we now in February, you have.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Seven more to go.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
But are you enjoying it? Like? Is it interesting? You
don't look forward to the next one?
Speaker 8 (14:59):
No, I mean, I guess.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
I let me say this. Three is intriguing. I'm wondering.
It makes me wonder about four, but I can't say why.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Okay, that's good. And then there's why you're punished to
begin with.
Speaker 7 (15:12):
You.
Speaker 8 (15:12):
You probably like.
Speaker 7 (15:13):
The fact that there becomes like this apprentice of sorts.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Oh, I love when they're getting somebody else ready for
the job, worked hard and deserve the I feel bad
for Jick, so I don't even know what he did.
But okay, well, thank you Amy. Well check in Eddie.
Have you done your thing yet?
Speaker 9 (15:27):
No?
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Yeah? When are we gonna do that? YESI un till February.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Yeah, February first. Yeah, all right, Eddie has to What
do you have to do? I gotta tell jokes, even
though they're not funny. You have to go to a
breakfast place until five jokes very loudly. You have to
laugh at each of them for five seconds. Each laugh
five seconds. I gotta laugh my own joke, yes for
five seconds. Okay, so we can do that next week.
(15:52):
You let me know, all right, all right, thank you,
it's time for the news, Bobby. For weeks, a large, big, white,
fluffy dog had been spotted just wandering the streets in
Tennessee and this town called Dandridge a broken leash that
was attached to a harness. But the dog was limping,
and so people would try to get up the dog.
(16:13):
The dog would run away because the dog's hurt. Dog scared,
so the dog would just run away. It was also cold,
it's winter time, and so this local animal rescue got
together and coordinated because they knew if they went up
to it, it would run, but they had people waiting
for it at the different areas they thought it could
catch it. So they named the dog Gaut. I think
it's gout, not the best name, but it was on
(16:35):
It's like gout road.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Gaut.
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
I was like, you just ain't after the disease. I
think you're good. So they finally caught and they took
him to the hospital. He underwent surgery. The Animal Center
paid for the dog surgery. Had a broken leg, he'd
just been walking on the broken leg for weeks, and
so donations then started to pour in from people. They
had raised over seven thousand dollars to pay for the
medical cost post surgery, and now they're looking for a
(17:00):
home for him. Did the name gout.
Speaker 8 (17:03):
Though it's the street, it's just.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Gout though it's not the gout well ga u t
It could be gout gaut, but still it still feels
like gout. Maybe you change that up, try to adopt him.
Speaker 7 (17:14):
But also, wasn't that dog the ghost dog? They're showing
up at your house, a big white, fluffy dog.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
But I'm looking at this dog. It's a little yellower
than the ghost dog, maybe because it's wet and dirty.
The ghost dog that was in my house never got
dirty because ghosts don't get dirty, because it was floating.
It's a ghost. Shout out to that town, Jessica Hubbard
and all the Lake Animal Hospital. Shout out to you
guys as well. Thank you guys. That's what it's all about.
(17:40):
That was telling me something good. Let's talk to Casey,
who lives in Nashville. Hey, Casey, welcome to the Bobby
Bone Show. How are you, Casey, I'm doing great.
Speaker 5 (17:51):
How are you, Bobby?
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Pretty good?
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Yeah, we're doing really good. What can I do for you? So?
Speaker 5 (17:55):
I had a question since Lunchbox spent over two hundred
on Abby Santa Stripper, but he didn't do anything for
his wife's birthday. I wanted to know if he did
anything special for her for Christmas.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Man, that is such a great question. So weird because
lunch is so tight with money, and he spent a
lot of money on pranking Abby.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
He was happy to pay it.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Played once a Santa stripper comes in and started dancing
on Abbey, and he thinks it's the greatest that that
is an investment to him, that was an investment, a
life investment worth it. How much you pay two hundred
and sixty nine dollars for? How long did he do it?
Speaker 3 (18:39):
I mean maybe a minute and a half? How long
in your life?
Speaker 2 (18:42):
We remember the joy of that till the day I die. Yeah, Yeah,
it was weird.
Speaker 6 (18:46):
Abby still had I invited her to be a collaborator
on our video of her getting a dance on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
She didn't accept it.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
He never took his beard off. I think he was
hide in his face. M interesting, like maybe he has
a real job it. Dude's ripped. Yeah, when he took
his Sanda jacket off his bag muscles, I was like jealous.
I was like, wow, So did you spend two hundred
and sixty nine dollars total on your wife for Christmas?
Speaker 3 (19:11):
No?
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Did she know you spent two sixty nine on a
stripper for Abby?
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Okay, and her thoughts.
Speaker 6 (19:18):
It sounds hilarious, So that's so funny. And I used
her computer to search for strippers Abby's no, my wife,
why not yours? I didn't want a bunch of mail
strippers popping up on my screen. Whatever, if it's gonna
pop up on her screen, no problem.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
What if you walked over she's looking at all mail
strippers like that.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
I don't give a crap. Guess where she's putting her
head at night?
Speaker 2 (19:37):
On my chest for now, okay, until Rico comes to
town on tour. So your wife wasn't upset that you
spent more money on Abbey than her?
Speaker 3 (19:46):
No, I mean she didn't say anything.
Speaker 6 (19:48):
I mean I got her what I thought was some
good gifts and boom nailed it.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
What did you get? What'd you get over for Christmas?
Speaker 5 (19:54):
Well?
Speaker 3 (19:54):
I got her some new dish towels, because.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
My god, are you serious? What the thing is? I
know serious because he said it immediately. It wasn't like
he was coming up with a bit to go ahead.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
No, she always talks about how our dish towels stink
and they smell like milk because kids spill milk a lot,
and I wipe it up with the milk and there
she's like, oh these always stink. Oh these smell terrible.
We need some new dish towels, and so boom under
the Christmas tree, new dish towels, twelve of them.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Great love that because she needed them. But what did
you get her that was like a love gift?
Speaker 3 (20:24):
What do you mean that is lovey?
Speaker 8 (20:26):
What else did you get her?
Speaker 2 (20:27):
You had to get her something that was for like
her enjoyment, not so she could wash dishes.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (20:32):
I bought her a couple of random books. I don't know,
murder mysteries. That's good, just because I feel like she's
on her phone too much, so I'd rather read a book.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
I about you just say, hey, I got you some books.
Not you're doing it because you like that she would
do something different or better.
Speaker 6 (20:46):
Well, I mean that is why I think it's showing
my love is so she'll get the phone out of
her hand and put a book.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
In her hand.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
So you got her books? That's not That is nice. Yeah,
that's nice, okay, and anything else that's it. Okay, that's
well because you don't have to there's no rule, right
and got it?
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Yeah? I ask you what she got me? What did
you get you? She got me? This is really I
felt like a gift for her.
Speaker 6 (21:10):
It's like these frames where you can put your kids
artwork and it can like rotate out.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
So you got her dish towels. Each kid gets.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
One and like when they do artwork or whatever. Cue.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
But that's that's like dish towels.
Speaker 8 (21:22):
Yeah, because they're for the family.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
What did she get? What? What did did she get you? Anything?
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Like personally legitimate? Nothing else? It you guys made for
each other. I love it.
Speaker 8 (21:31):
What about your households?
Speaker 2 (21:33):
I got Caitlin about four months ago. I hired a
person to paint a picture of you guys River. Yes, no,
did you guys?
Speaker 3 (21:45):
You guys sat there on this tool.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
No, it's a picture. We went to Paris, I had
never been before, and it's us in front of the
Eiffel Tower picking her up, and she loved the picture
so much. As soon as they got back, I was like,
how do I find somebody to actually paint this as estions? Yeah,
that's the word.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
That's like at six Flags, Like, yeah, sitting.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
There, except our heads are normal size a character. Yeah.
Do you want to see it?
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:08):
So it's that's what I got it. It's like probably
three feet tall. It's a it's a real painting.
Speaker 8 (22:12):
Are you going to hang it?
Speaker 2 (22:13):
It's already up on the easel in the living room.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Does it look real here?
Speaker 2 (22:17):
You can look at it?
Speaker 3 (22:19):
What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (22:19):
I mean, it's it doesn't She's not trying to make
it look exactly real.
Speaker 8 (22:22):
Oh yeah, that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
So but it took like four months. You like that
or just town us better?
Speaker 8 (22:30):
Good idea?
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Created she got me a watch I really like.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
But my question, if you already have the I just
know you're not. Let me finish my question.
Speaker 6 (22:39):
If you already have the picture, why do you want
a picture of the picture.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Well, we have a picture that we just posted on Instagram.
But this is a big painting that goes in the house.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Pain is cool. Why would you just blow it up
and put it on the wall. We don't want to.
We just want a painting.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
It's like it's like even it doesn't it's not like
they're trying to paint it exactly as is. There's like
a little bit of artistry to it. But I don't
know much about art.
Speaker 8 (22:59):
But anyways, would the word be abstract?
Speaker 2 (23:02):
No, because you can tell what it is?
Speaker 8 (23:03):
Okay, then I don't know the real starry night?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Is it glory?
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (23:11):
You're good Eddie, wow man?
Speaker 8 (23:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Oh no, No, dude, we did nothing.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
That's good. But as long as that's understood, all good.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
We did that.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
We're not getting each other presents. We are gonna save
money and go on a trip. So we've already talked
about going to Hawaii.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
That's good.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
That's good. All right, Well, and dude, no pressure during
Christmas to buy presents. Is awesome.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Christmas, everybody.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
See.
Speaker 6 (23:30):
I like how Eddie doesn't do anything and he's a
good guys, and I'm majure no.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
No.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
I think a lot of the culture of our show
and our time together with the past ten years affect
the decisions that we make about how we feel about
you and your decisions.
Speaker 8 (23:43):
Yeah, in lunch bos. It's not like you said.
Speaker 7 (23:45):
Oh, my wife and I talked about it and we're
gonna save money for a trip to take to.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
New demand gifts and get angry when people don't get
you gifts, but you don't get people get hello.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
I use my listening ears.
Speaker 6 (23:55):
And she kept mentioning something over and over and so
I was like, wow, you know what. She keeps mentioning
this dish towels. She really wants to new dish towels.
So that's what I bought. I thought, that's doing something good,
good for.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
You those.
Speaker 7 (24:09):
It is one of those things you don't want to
go by yourself, like I need news, And.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
That was okay. I just thought, what did you get her?
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Like for a personal reason? In the books? Get the
books the Morgan, you're the draft champion. Now you take
the belt.
Speaker 8 (24:22):
Oh yeah, give me that lunchbox.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
We did it before vacation. Morgan won the most romantic
couples draft. This would be a quick turnaround, though, because
now we're gonna do the draft for foods that start
with the letter T. Now, raymon, No, you're back in
amy last. How do you know I heard you heard?
It was embarrassing for you.
Speaker 8 (24:45):
I heard I came in last.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Okay, so is that a dice?
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Roll? Here we go.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Foods start with tea ray one, two, three, four, five,
six seven, Morgan okay, Morgan Foods to start with tea. Okay,
go ahead, I'm going tater tots. Oh wow, I didn't
think about that one was okay? Well, I have it
(25:15):
up there in my top section brand. Oh I can
get it so late, so I gotta wait. Uh, tortilla chips.
First thing good at a Mexican restaurant. I number one
still on the board. I'm so happy I had tacos.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
Won the draft. I don't know where you got. I
got tacos. Oh there's more stuff. Oh there's a lotta lots.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
What I take tacos?
Speaker 3 (25:38):
Luschbox? Yeah, give me a second. How much time do
you need a lot?
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Tappy?
Speaker 6 (25:48):
Because I had tacos and I had tater tots, I
did not have tortilla chips.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
So drafting foods to start with tea. You will put
teams together. You vote on your favorite team. Go ahead,
give me Tomali's yum eddie.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
I'm hey, guys, you can't have the chip without the
actual tortilla give me a tortilla.
Speaker 8 (26:13):
You can't have a taco.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
We got a.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Tortilla either, right, So I went it all, Well, no,
we're not doing it because you're not just gonna eat
the tortilla.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Just eat.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
It's not the Book of Genesis, bro, and it didn't
start and create. This is just you got tortilla.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
Hey, I get the next one.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
So yes, now you get to go first in the
second round.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Go ahead, come on, give me twigs that food.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
You don't have to justify it.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Tortilla and twigs. That's all I need in life. That
sounds good together, lunchbocks.
Speaker 6 (26:42):
Guys, you know what I love. I love me some turkey. Turkey,
turkey and Tamali's. Oh my goodness, we have you just
cooked a big turkey of Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
And Christmas, very festive.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Who man, I had a good one picked and I
was like hoping you guys didn't take it. But I
can't take it. I tell you that later. I'm such
an idiot.
Speaker 8 (27:04):
Why can't you take it?
Speaker 2 (27:06):
I'll tell you that later.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
But the one I want to pick, I don't think
it counts as a food.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
You can pick whatever you want, okay, it just is
the listeners don't vote for it.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
I'm gonna do. I'm gonna do tomato soup with the girl. Cheese.
Speaker 8 (27:28):
You can say that.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
Yeah, that's great.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
I literally just said you can say whatever you want.
The listeners decide cheese.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
It really good.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
I didn't.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
I didn't make that out. That's the thing. Ray. I'm
gonna still put my other one to the third round here.
Speaker 9 (27:46):
In the second I'm gonna go with the best cake
you're gonna have at any holiday party or regular party.
You probably just had it though, trace Lachus cake. He's
a very Mexican food letter.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
All the best stuff here, Tamala's takos treslches.
Speaker 6 (28:04):
I like the way he named all of ours and
not his thank you.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
But he's what's not Mexican though, tortilla.
Speaker 6 (28:11):
He goes Tamalay's tacos loss credit.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Yeah, but that's not how the voting works. Voting is
working on credit.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Ahead. Okay, people have this, it's my turn.
Speaker 6 (28:24):
I thought Eddie just went sorry.
Speaker 8 (28:27):
Dang, Okay, people have this every morning. It's toast.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Toast is solid. That's good, that solid. Just try toast.
Speaker 8 (28:34):
Toast can come in time.
Speaker 2 (28:36):
You can start your own narrative with toast.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
You have tortilla, leave me.
Speaker 9 (28:40):
Alone, delicious, Ray, this is my absolute favorite thing. I
can't believe I have it the third round. It has
been stolen from the fridge because it is so amazing.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
Supposed to again? Yeah, well you leave to Foray. No, no,
you please leave Toachle Foray.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
That's not how the game works.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
If she wasn't gonna take it, let Ray have this
to Morgan. Still, it's up to you, Morgan.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
I did have it on my list.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Would you have taken it next?
Speaker 3 (29:07):
I don't know. Take it?
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Do you feel like you would have taken it next?
Take it now? Oh my god, I do.
Speaker 6 (29:16):
Love an Apple toaster Jodel, but I'm gonna go Twizzlers instead.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Ray, Yeah, put it the toaster.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Strudle Me.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Okay, so you're welcome, Ray, I'm final here, No, no, me,
it's my final. Okay.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
We all got one more?
Speaker 6 (29:33):
Yeah, well we go backwards because I'm so confused.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
We know because it went Morgan Ray, so it should
go Eddie Me. Then no, it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 7 (29:44):
You?
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Okay, dude, do a clock. I I am so confused.
Who drafted first? Morgan went Morgan? Ray? Me?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
You Eddie, and then it goes back.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
My god, I thought Ray drafted first. That's why I'm
on man.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
But even if that were the case, so we're going
back backwards. It is starting round.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
So I'm drunk.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
What you got, buddy, I'm gonna go tea parentheses.
Speaker 11 (30:07):
Sweet sweet ah sweet Okay, yeah that works, Tea Frenzy sweet.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
Lushbox.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (30:27):
I haven't hit that dessert cart yet, so I'm gonna
go hit that dessert.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
I think you're gonna do something that you don't know
group people eat it or it's food.
Speaker 6 (30:35):
Yeah, I don't know if I can say that, Harry's Eddie,
I'll rude down.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
I know you can't say that.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Okay, okay, go ahead pick your other one.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
I'm gonna go with Taram Sue.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
That's good, Eddie. What is that is?
Speaker 8 (31:00):
It's Italian.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
I'm gonna end up with Totina's pizza rolls.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Okay, okay. So here are the teams, and you guys
please go vote on your favorite team. The names won't
be on them when you vote. You just see the three.
Don't vote for just the first one. That's the first round.
Vote for the team, the total team. And if we're
looking at the teams here. Morgan had tater Tots, toast
and Twizzlers that solid food to start with. Mundo had
tortilla chips, trays, Let's cake and toast to Strudel. I
(31:28):
have tacos, I'm one, that's it, Tomato soup with a
grilled cheese and tea Princely Sweets. Fogs had Tamali's turkey
and Tierra Massou and Eddie had tortilla twigs and Totino's
pizza and let's walk confusions all the middle of about
the order.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
I mean, I got so confused.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
I was gonna I had two really good ones.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
I was gonna use.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
I thought taco would be gone. So the second round
I had a plan to take Taco Bell or Taco
Bell Countrap Supreme. Yeah, and then I was like, I
can't pick tacos, and then Taco Bell Contrap Supreme.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Oh Taco Bell.
Speaker 8 (31:58):
Even think about that?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
Vote Bobbybones dot com take twenty four hours ago vote,
Thank you guys. Experts say put your phone on silent
because the average notification on your phone distracts you for
one minute even after it happens your thoughts, So to
keep it on silentce. So not only that this is
what I do. I keep my phone obviously on silent
because I don't want to be doing this and all
of a sudden, bring my home's my home's, my homes
(32:23):
my bring. So I keep my phone down as well
because I know if I get a text or email
and it's distracting, it'll completely throw me off. So all
the time in my life, my phone always stays face down.
That looks shady, which is sus. Yeah, very as my
wife would told me for I sure to day like
why was your phone always down? I don't know what
are you hiding exactly? And so and I have like
(32:46):
three phones at home. They're all dead. It's like my
old number that I used to have, this one and
my old number but on a different phone when I
switched out to the number fifteen years and she was like,
if I didn't know that, you weren't, sus. You have
like multiple burner, you're like selling drugs. Your phone's down,
you have a beeper, you know, ah, you have a scale,
(33:08):
you're always talking Spanish in the other room. Interesting, But
I keep my phone down all the time for that reason,
I had to think about why I do it whenever
she was like why is I was like, oh, it's
not that, It's just I never want to be distracted
by it when I'm on the air, so I'm used
to doing that. So there you go.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
So keep keep your.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Ringing off and keep your phone down. Unless you've not
been loyal and you have to keep it up, then
keep it up. By loyal, you know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (33:31):
Oay, cool, yeah, cool motion Amy's pile of stories.
Speaker 7 (33:36):
Well, it looks like Arkansas has more teen moms than
any other state.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Thank you. We did it.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
We did it, guys. My mom is a teen mom
got pregnant fifteen, right, we did it.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
Mom.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
I was always scared of that, of getting to my pregnant.
That's why you were. Yeah, that's why I never had sex. Also, no,
but has sex to me?
Speaker 7 (33:55):
I was gonna say, yeah, Uh, New York leads the
nation and the oldest moms over forty.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Because probably a lot of industry career.
Speaker 8 (34:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (34:05):
So the Southern states, Yeah, they had the highest number
of team moms.
Speaker 8 (34:09):
It wasn't just Arkansas.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
But but we won though, so we win something da Yes,
I know.
Speaker 8 (34:14):
Well, you always like it when Arkansas gets first in.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Something, not in the bad stuff because we've been doing
the bad stuff. It doesn't matter, like it doesn't matter.
People worry too much. And Markle is very personal to
me because I'm from there. That's my home, that's the
state that I loved the most. But it's the politicians
worry about things that are just good for twitter and
not actually good for the people. And these things state
(34:39):
the education stays bad, the teen mom rate. But let's
all of a sudden, let's have a fight about something
that just makes donations come in because you're politicians. Divide
us man, and then they just use that to stay
in power, and they don't do anything anyway.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Go Arkansas, All right? What else?
Speaker 7 (34:55):
Well, So I have some popular things from TV shows
that have aged badly, Like the show is still good,
but there's just stuff in it that like, oh, that's
a bummer because life just doesn't operate that way anymore.
Like airport professions of love, like running to the airport
to catch the love of your life right before they
bored a plane because you have to actually have a ticket, and.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
I get through, well, arrest you if you try to
do that. That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
That if hey, Morgan, do you remember going to an
airport and not having to go through like nine to
eleven stuff.
Speaker 7 (35:23):
No, I always remember having to be through security of
some kind.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
It's like that's that's where this happened, like right between
us and Morgan. Yep.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
And that's a little bit span Yeah.
Speaker 7 (35:34):
Uh, Slapping people sober used to happen a lot like
you like slaps up, slap and then people like okay, okay,
I'm together and oh, that's probable a lot of amnesia
storylines because it was really popular and then nine used
to have that written into it. But a brain injury
like that, someone wouldn't be walking around just fine.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
Like everything's the same, but they just can't remember the goverment.
Uh you know what storylines they don't do near as
much then they do and.
Speaker 8 (36:01):
Oh is that really how it is?
Speaker 3 (36:03):
Though?
Speaker 2 (36:04):
But there really is, don't know, but there would be
like everybody one show didn't have quicksand an episode about
quicksand or someone not being able to read you know,
there are no more quicksand episodes and that, you know what,
we need to have more of that. All right.
Speaker 7 (36:15):
We'll close with this one on things that have aged
poorly when it comes to TV, and that's innocent peeping
Tom's because boys watching women or girls undressed, because like
in movies, like think back to back in the day,
it'd be like a little hole and you're like watching
it and it's like they're not meaning any harm, but
they are looking at someone undressed. That they shouldn't be
like peeping into the girl's locker, right, because it should
(36:39):
not be normalized. But back in the day it used
to be seen as like a ride.
Speaker 8 (36:43):
Of passage, got it.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Well, I mean we still do penny Raise once a
month around the neighborhood.
Speaker 7 (36:50):
So Kate Hudson, she can sing, and apparently in Aspen, Uh,
she's saying Chris Stapleton's White Horse and covered other songs,
and they're saying, maybe she's got a career in country music.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
She doesn't, but that's cool. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
I'm sure she's super talented.
Speaker 8 (37:07):
Yeah, her mom's goalie, Han, do you have a.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Clip right of her singing?
Speaker 7 (37:11):
If not, her dad's Bill Hudson of the Hudson brothers.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Okay, well, I don't know who are they were they
sing It was a big band. There were two brothers.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
There's a lot of Hudson.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
She would never have a country music career just because
she could sing, and she's picked a couple country songs.
I did watch Maggan Maroney sing what Are You listening To?
By Chris Stapleton. Oh it's really good because that was
his first single that didn't work, and he come in
and he did what are you listening to? Is it?
Speaker 3 (37:33):
A couple of bands? And so she's singing it. It
was really good.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Megan WRONGI but yeah, we're good kid, Hudson. We're all
full over here.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (37:40):
Well.
Speaker 8 (37:41):
I would love for her to do it, So maybe
she would come in here.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
That would be fun, that'd be fun. Yeah, but she's
thinking out pursue a country career because of that.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
All right, is that it?
Speaker 8 (37:48):
Amy? That's my pile.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
That was Amy's pile of stories.
Speaker 11 (37:52):
It's time for the good news, Amy.
Speaker 7 (37:58):
All right, this woman Grace, she's graduating from Farris State
University and she planned to graduate on Friday. She had
a c section scheduled for Monday, so no past after
the graduation, no problem. Well, shows up to graduation, her husband, Caleb,
her whole family, her other daughter. They're all in the
crowd cheering her on because she was getting her bachelor's
(38:19):
degree in early childhood education.
Speaker 8 (38:21):
Can't wait to go on be an educator.
Speaker 7 (38:23):
She has all planned out that the baby has other
plans and came early, so she was still able to
walk across the stage. But like her gown, she was
carrying her ten day old baby with her as she
walked across the stage.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
When you get out of the hospital, how many days?
Speaker 3 (38:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (38:40):
Okay, so she didn't like sneak out with the baby. No,
got it. The baby is under It's like in that post.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
Was the baby breastfeeding at that time?
Speaker 6 (38:47):
Looking at a picture of him, there's no reason for
the baby to be carried.
Speaker 3 (38:53):
Across the stage.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
Looking at a baby right now, Well, it's in like
the papou is that what you call thing on the
front that's wrapped The baby.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Sits in that thing. It's like a cocoon thing on
babies in that.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Where its head press up against them all. I think
she easily baby could breastfeed if they needed to. But
that's the position the baby's in.
Speaker 8 (39:08):
But why is dunchucks all up in arms?
Speaker 6 (39:10):
If here's my question, she's just doing this for attention. No, no, no,
there's no The baby could have stayed with the father
in the stands and held.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
I mean, there's no need for the baby to be
with her. I didn't know the father is still around,
and you said the father was there Cale.
Speaker 2 (39:26):
I do know Caleb's on a dead beet dad who
showed up just to listen. I like it. I'm good
with it. She's the baby's with her, the baby's just
been born. She keeps next to them.
Speaker 7 (39:34):
All because originally, when she's walking across the stage, the
baby was supposed to be in her good story.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
I get it. If she's still pregnant, our resolution is
all bad stories.
Speaker 8 (39:44):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Amy, thank you, that's what it's all about. That was
telling me something good.
