Speaker 1 (00:03):
This is a podcast called twenty five Wists stuck in
Fun and they all went room whist So, yeah, it's
super bad, but what did you expect. It's a podcast
called twenty five Whistles twenty wine. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
I'm glad you guys are here, and we're shooting this
from my house. So we're sitting in two regal type
chairs today to hope this makes you feel.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Important and loved.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
The chairs are very nice.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Yeah, thank you. Let's blow the whistle. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I was actually just stalling so we get to the
whistle sound effect there, if I'm being honest. Oh, yeah,
glad you guys are here. I do want to start
with the Jeopardy clip if we have that ready to go.
So I was watching on TikTok and they were doing
around a Jeopardy and the three people that were answering
the questions could not be any more Jeopardy looking. And
I say that as somebody who is pretty Jeopardy looking himself.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Super nerdy, I.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Know what you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
Yeah, I can fixture them too. The category is football.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Now, these are three very nerdy Jeopardy contestants who probably
I don't know don't know much about football. If I'm
judging based off appearances, and so this clip's off, we're
we're looking at here.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
I broke it up into five different clips, so it's
each question is all right, here we go.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
Your choice, do or don't? Name this play in which
the quarterback runs the ball and can choose to pitch
it to another back.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
That's the option.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
It's an option play.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
They didn't get that one. They didn't get that one
or two hundred. It's a little tricky if you don't
know football. It's the easiest one. It's two hundred, all right?
For four hundred, Ryan Football four hundred.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
I can tell you guys are a big football fans.
Tom Landry perfected the shotgun formation.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
With this team, Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Dallas Cowboys. Do you think we should go to commercial?
All right? Six hundred, Brian, take it on a six? Okay?
Speaker 5 (02:00):
By signaling for one of these, a returner can reel
in a kick without fear of getting tackled.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Fair catch, good, fair catch? Oh guys, nothing eight hundred.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
Two clues left, Ryan, eight hundred. These penalties are simultaneous
violations by the offense and defense that cancel each other out.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Offsets offsetting penalty. That one dang, Okay, one more.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
Let's look at the thousand dollars. Clue, just for the
fun of.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
It, you me.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
As Minneapolis as US Bank Stadium prepares to host Super
Bowl fifty two, I'm looking at the Ring of Honor
with names from this defensive line that took the Vikings
to four Super Bowls.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
No clue.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
If you guys ring in and get this one, I
will die. Who are the purple people Eaters?
Speaker 1 (03:01):
But then you only got three of the five?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yeah, I mean the easier ones. Purple people Heres? Who
was that?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Like?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
The Vikings? Yeah, but do we know any of those players?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
No? I just know because they're this is a funny
name for the defensive line. Yeah, it was before us,
back in the day. Yeah, Like I think I like
Frank Tarkington and I to get the credible people Eaters,
maybe even the same years.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
But yeah, I know. I thought that clip was funny.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Because they didn't look like they would get football, and
then they didn't get any of the football's, even the
easiest one.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
So there's that.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I was also looking at ESPN Fantasy and I'm always
curious to see who they have as like the projected first, second, third, fourth,
fifth pick.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Who do you think goes first overall?
Speaker 3 (03:39):
First overall?
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Saquonaquon that this is their rankings, isn't number four?
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Oh wow? Okay, I mean it had to be a
running back. I want to put Seque dang.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
I don't know, dude, Sorry, that isn't correct, and I
don't know Kevin. I'm taking a shot Jamar Chase correct.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Not a running back? Wow?
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Jamar Chase at one, John Robinson at two, Justin Jefferson
at three, sa Que at four, Jamar Gibbs at five,
Ceedee Lamb at six, Christian McCaffrey at seven, who Canaku
had eight, Elak Neighbors at nine, and Aman Rossaint Brown
at ten.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Those are your top ten.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
My favorite spot to get in a Snake draft is
probably like three or four. You get really one of
those first tier guys and then it's okay to wait
a little bit in the second round.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
But quarterbacks, who's your number one quarterback?
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Number one quarterback has to be.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Who's your number one quarterback you're drafting Jalen Hurts, Kevin
Lamar Jackson.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Lamar Jackson's number one, Jalen Hurts number two, Joe Burrow
number three.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Where's my Home's at four?
Speaker 7 (04:56):
Kay, he's ahead of Josh Allen.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
He is, And again this is just their ranking, but
Josh Allen is at five, Josh Allen's at six after
Jaden Daniels.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Oh wow wow. Yeah, and Jame's gonna have a crazy
year man.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Baker, Mayfield and bow Knicks in the top ten. Though.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Let's go it's weird because they have Anthony Richardson at
like fourteen. I don't think he starts. I don't think
he's gonna be a started quarterback.
Speaker 7 (05:19):
Is he really in the top fifteen?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, because it goes.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
One, two, three, four, five, six is Josh Allen, nine
is Kyler Murray, eleven is Anthony Richardson.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
And I would bet almost dollars to donuts that he's
not even the starter whenever the season starts, because.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
That will be.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
For the Colts.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, well you get a brush up. Gosh, who is
the quarterback for the Colts? Thank you? That is incorrect? Nothing,
uh uh, Kevin.
Speaker 7 (05:52):
That would be Daniel Jones.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
That's correct.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
I think Ken's up winning the starting job there. Yeah, yeah,
so that's weird. I guess if Anton rich and starts,
he's gonna get you a bunch of points on the ground.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
He's gonna run the ball, and.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yeah, those those yards are a little easier to get
at least for points. It's one for ten instead of
one for twenty or twenty five, depending on your scoring
system is Mike, you look forward to fantasy or no.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
I do the only thing. I'm like semi decent net
that people don't expect me to be because I don't
know if you like people think I don't know a
lot about football.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Yeah, you can just read and watch. You don't have
to actually play. Yeah right, Yeah. Do you ever win
your league?
Speaker 1 (06:27):
Ever won in the league I've gotten?
Speaker 3 (06:29):
No.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
I finished in like fourth last year. That's the closest
I've ever got.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
You ever won the league? Not our league? I won
one league that doesn't count. It was a work league
and it was I traded with someone who had no
idea what they were doing. Yeah, that's the only way
I won.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
That's like somebody and not to hurt your feelings, but that's.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Like you're going to it's like somebody going, yeah album,
it's doable A bracket before Yeah, why I do thirteen
every year with random people? And I just no, you
really can only talk about the league you're in together
if you're like, hey, have you won the league?
Speaker 3 (06:55):
And what's crazy about our league is I've made the
playoffs before, but I always lose the first round. Like
it just I don't know, man, I I don't take
a lot. I don't take a lot of trades, and
even like sometimes and I'd say, in the last like
three years, I've tried to make trades with people, but
they will not trade with me.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
But now you're the person that doesn't want to take
the trade.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
No, I think that's what that was my problem before.
But now I'm trying to make moves because I know,
I understand.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Terrible at even having that negotiation, because you're not gonna
do a trade unless you win.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
And nobody's gonna get it in the trale.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
I do fair trades. You don't.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
I do bullcrap trades. I feel like.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
People in our league don't want to make a risky trade.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Trade is always risky. But you're that person.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
No, dude, I tried to know you're that person that
you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Have you?
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Oh, you always try to screw me on trades?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
No, I try, I said out it's not screwing people.
I send out wils and deals all the time. Every
day I'm sending that three or four.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah, ears are bad, but.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
That's what you automatically think based on who I am,
not at the meat of the actual trade.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I can get. I bet to you we can trade
this year.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
That's also not even something you say or good.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Definitely trade. I think every year you have to trade
because like every time I think I draft a great team,
it's never the case.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
But everybody thinks they draft a great sea correct.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yeah, that's what starts.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
So the ESPN NFL deals interesting because the NFL get
basically of everything, all their media, their house, NFL films,
all to ESPN to own ten percent of ESPN, crazy yeah,
big deal, and NFL media itself, NFL network. They really
weren't cutting through at the level I think they would
have liked to. And they know ESPN has the infrastructure
(08:31):
to actually build that brand out NFL and.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
So that's pretty sick though.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
To get ten percent of ESPN, oh yeah, I'm sure
they could have sold it for like a billion or
something whatever that number is. But to get ten percent
of ESPN, that's pretty awesome and there's an interest now
in ESPN succeeding, so some of the changes are like
red Zone channel will be on ESPN.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Oh I saw that, dude. That scares me. Why that
scares me a big time because then they're going to
start selling out. I don't know. They're not saying they're
doing this yet, but if they start doingmmercials during red Zone,
we're screwed.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
They did that last year, not not my red zone.
They showed commercials occasionally. Yeah, oh the first time ever?
Speaker 7 (09:07):
Was it like up in the small box or whatever?
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah, it was a commercial.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Oh, but don't change the ad, but you can still
see the action.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
I don't. I think they cut away a little A
couple of times it was there was uproar.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
Did you remember people being really mad about it?
Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:20):
But that show bits baby, I know. And also ESPN's
not getting it this year right now?
Speaker 3 (09:25):
Is it twenty twenty?
Speaker 1 (09:26):
I think it's It.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Could possibly be next year right six six? Yeah, So
you can still watch it, I and you will still
watch it even with commercials.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
They were gonna miss the big play because we're gonna
be watching a bounty commercial.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
You won't.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
And I would bet they probably split it they did
say that John Hanson Wright that's the name.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, it's not John, is it Chris Scott? Scott got Hanson.
It's like Chris does catch creditor.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
Gosh, those guys are so good, Like he is so
good to talk for six freaking hours.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Yeah, so he'll still be doing He announced that because
people were like, if you put Steven A. Smith on this,
we're going to rope.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Can you imagine?
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Can you just be yelling at you the whole time?
So I think it's an interesting deal.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
ESPN is also going to do a direct consumer where
you pay like nineteen ninety nine a month, But again,
that isn't for people that already have it on cable
or that already have it on YouTube TV. You're going
to continue to get that, but it's for people who don't.
And just like how you have ner Netflix subscriptions, Yeah,
how you have your that is what you can get
ESPN on.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
That will be a little more robust.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Another one of the interesting things that came out of
this is that Disney Plus is going to be the
hub for even Hulu.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Hulu's going to not be an app anymore.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
I think it's still because it's already a family, right, Yeah,
they're all owned by Disney.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yeah, but I think Disney is going to uh inhale
the Hulu and I think Hulu is still a brand
and they'll still come out on Hulu, but from what
I read, it will no longer be an app. They're
going to move everything over to Disney Plus. Cool.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Mike, your thoughts did you see that? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I don't like it because I just feel like it
starts to like muddle where everything is and then everything's
just going to be one big streaming service at some point.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
But don't you like it that way where it's just
one place you go to instead of getting out of
that app and going over to another one and watching
something there. Like on Sundays when I'm trying to watch
golf and NASCAR at the same time. Dude, it's tough.
I've got to go to ESPN Plus to watch golf,
then I have to go out and watch you know,
TNT to watch Nascar. It's a pain.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
ESPN Plus is awesome.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Now that's a different than we're talking about as far
as them joining and buying NFL, and the ESPN Plus
is awesome because they have just put cameras at random
schools to just watch events.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Yeah, like even like.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Arkansas, so offtball, every game is up, even if there's
not like a full booth.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
They're working.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Somebody works remotely and they still have the cameras and
they have students able to run the cameras. That's what
that are put up there at those fields.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Yeah, I've seen that happen at local schools here where
like they're running cameras. Those students are running cameras, and
I'm like, are you running for ESPN? Like, yeah, we
run for anyone that wants it, but ESPN's are main
but no high schools, no colleges got it. Yeah, like
lipscumb College.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
SOS is awesome because you can watch even sports you
wouldn't normally see, regardless of small schools and sports that
you do see, even sports you don't normally watch. I
think at freaking lacrosse and horse ray, I don't ever
watch the horse jumping and stuff.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Oh the question.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah yeah, eighth Pan.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Plus they also are doing like a lot of the
Savannah bananas that that that league.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
I saw that on Disney Plus.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Yeah, pretty cool because I'd never really seen like I've
seen Savannah Banas. But I've never seen the firefighters or
the other teams. Tailgators, Yeah, tailgators.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
So you can see those two now You mad at
Colin Cowherd, Yeah, dude, Like what's what's what's he doing?
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Like why is he? Why is he making such a
big deal out of Brian Schottenheimer's visor.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
So I'm gonna play this audio if you want to
hit that first.
Speaker 8 (12:43):
You know, I don't like backward hats. What's worse as
a backward visor? That's a two win team, I'm taking
away four wins. So when you sit in front of
a podium, you're representing the Cowboys, you're representing Bank of America,
You're representing a twelve billion dollar corporation. I think you
got to do better as a head coach than advisor backwards.
There's a reason that country clubs and private clubs you
(13:06):
have to wear collared shirts and jackets.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
There's a reason for that, Like there's a standard.
Speaker 8 (13:10):
I don't want to look like a guy that's here
to move my couch, Like, I want you to do
better than that.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
So you don't like that country clubs like a standard.
This is football, man, and this is preseason football. And
Bill Belichick stands up there with the torn off sleeves
of a sweatshirt, Like, what's he talking about?
Speaker 1 (13:29):
So this has been a coward thing for like ten
years at this point.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
The backwards hatten.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah, if a quarterback goes up to a press conference
with backward hat, he's like, turn your hat around, like
you're supposed to be the leader of the team, like
I want my leaders with their callers. Starts their shirts
tucked in there, and he just makes a general observation
about winners and leaders and how they all have similar traits.
The backwards hat has been a thing for like Baker Mayfield,
he's just brought people up. Tony Romo a lot, Yeah,
(13:54):
would go up and be like, this is not the
guy you don't go up with a backward hat, So
it's kind of been his thing. I did see that
Ottenhimer went up day two and his hat was backwards Advisor.
He flipped it around and he goes, I don't.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Want sorry, Colin.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
So it's it's it's.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Much I do about a shtick that cowhard does, so
don't be personally offended by it.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
I did hear a cool story about why Brian Schottenheimer
wears advisor when he when he worked at Florida behind Spurrier,
he was the His job when Spurrier would take his
advisor off and throw it, his job was to get
the visor and give it back to coach. And so
he say, he's like, it's kind of just an honor
now to like wear a visor for coach Spurrier. He's like,
(14:32):
I've been doing it ever since. I didn't know that.
That's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
That's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Another one of the things ESPN is getting, by the way,
speaking of that is h WWE.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
They're going to get some of the PL's you know
is put pay you're in the right ballpark.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
But the word's not pay pay Yola, no, no, no, purchase, purchase, purchase.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Premium live event.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
It's basically what used to pay per views because pay
per views don't really exist anymore because these networks pay
billions to have them.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
So that's where.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
They're making their money in that relationship, and more people
are getting to see it.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
So both were getting.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Like Peacock, a big part of Peacock having any success
early was having that library of.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Wwe' That's the only reason I have Peacock, that's the
only thing I use it for so.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
WrestleMania will be a part of ESPN's new direct consumer
streaming service starting in twenty twenty six, thanks to an
agreement ESPN's.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Wheeling and dealing right now, Yeah, man making moves.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
The deal announced Wednesday includes two night events such as
WrestleMania and SummerSlam, and just goes through that. ESPN will
launch a streaming service August twenty first, twenty nine ninety
nine per month, and we'll still keep the linear network's name,
which is ESPN. Obviously, it will allow users to get
all seven of ESPN's domestic linear networks, in addition to
ESPN on ABC and several other streaming options. The WWE
(15:51):
has streamed on Peacock and will be all of this year.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
We got to get UFC on this.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
UFC still still pay pay per view.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
They'll do fight nights on ESPN, but now the big
Big Fights is always pay per view. Eighty bucks. You pay,
you pay for it, though, Yeah, I don't what happened.
They get me because they the prelims are free. So
I'll watch the prelims and then I'm like, well I can't.
I was not watch it.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Now I gotta watch the next five fights. Oh yeah,
so I pay for it. They walk into it. Yeah,
you're like, I'm not paying for it. About four and
you start to itch. You're like, I need to see
the big one because they're.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Pumping it out the whole time. Yeah, that's good. All right,
we'll come back.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
There's been a coach who has been banned from coaching.
I think, I mean, I understand why, but it seems
a bit unjust. We'll talk about that coming up and
then I'm gonna give the boys my meat in a minute,
and you're gonna put in your mouth and.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
You're don't like it.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
No, I don't want to do That's right.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
We will be back.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Hey, I want to talk about Teddy Bridgewater for a second.
So Teddy Bridgewater he coached that team to a state
championship in football, which which is crazy. He was spend
it last month by Miami Northwestern for using his own
money to provide food, uber rides and other services to
his players. Bridgewater is signing a deal to play with
the Tampa Buccaneers again this year. The team was in
(17:12):
the market for a new backup. Baker Mayfield obviously the quarterback,
but the story is he comes from a school coach
at the school.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
That they didn't have a lot.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
So yep, okay, it's against the rules, But you also
got to look, he didn't get suspended for being like
a bad dude or cheating.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
He got suspended for like paying so these guys could
eat when they were at the facility.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Isn't that crazy?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
And it's not backward in the way of it is
within the rules and it's keeping people from cheating. But
you wish there was some sort of body that could
come in and go instead of just throwing a blanket
over it. You've raised a flag. You would like us
to investigate this and we see exactly what you were doing. Heck,
there are advantages to rich schools over poor schools, and
you were just trying to somewhat eliminate that. Because I
(17:55):
feel like after hearing about it for about a week
or so and looking into it, I feel like that's
all he is doing was trying to make it so
his players could eat, so they could practice well, get
rides toocice and that's what it was. So justice for
Teddy Bridgewaters what.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
I sa sake time?
Speaker 1 (18:11):
So the suspension was it suspension to be a.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
High school coach.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
The thing was, he wasn't even getting paid, like even
as the head coach. He was like a volunteer.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
I'm ninety nine percent positive he was volunteering as a
head coach. They wasn't even getting paid and they suspended him.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
You may look that up, Mike.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
The NFL has and this story has changed a bit
over the last couple of days. They have been smelling
salts and the reason is because they say it can
mask concussion symptoms.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
So if you can cuss, you go over.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Whoo, You're like, oh, I got a little peppa, My
step a little quicker.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
So they're like, hey, we have to cut this.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
But the new thing that's been brought in is that
players can bring their own The NFL just can't provide
them anymore. Oh, you can bring it in your Bed's
not that big of a deal, okay, because like George
Kittle does it like ten times a game.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
That's why he's so excited.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
So that was a big part of It's like due
I use smelling salts all the time, and the NFL
had to recome out and go like, look, players can
still do their thing, but we can't provide them, which
we have forever. It's probably a legal thing because if
players are using them to mass concussions, and the NFL
has been on the hook.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
For not.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Sharing all they know about concussions, then of course they
have to make it to where they're not part of
the problem or they're not making the problem worse, and.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
The NFL can still provide pickle juice. I believe pickle
juice is fine. Okay, good, Yeah, he.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Was not paid volunteer.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
Wow, so he's no longer allowed to volunteer.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
It's crazy. After winning a state championship, he's probably like,
what is happening right now?
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Well, he gets to go back and play in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
And remember after he finished, he went back to the
Lions and was back up to golf right after he
won the state championship.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Remember that, like two weeks later he was up in Detroit.
At least he was on the team. I think he
played for a bit. I think golf got hurt and
he had to go in the game for a little bit.
The College Football First Coaches Poll is out. This is
without knowing anything. I love it. I wouldn't say without
knowing anything.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
You got a schedule, right, and you also know all
the players because they're all back. Like, you know what
teams have quarterbacks that are successful. Number one is Texas, Mike.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
I don't like it.
Speaker 7 (20:20):
It puts the target on her back.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, but here's the thing. Number two is Ohio State.
In week one, Texas and Ohio State.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
Yeah, but then everybody's like, oh, they're number one and
they're gonna suck. They're not gonna make it back.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
That's a crazy first week number one and number two playing.
I don't know that that's I've ever seen that happen
before week one, the number one and number two teams play.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
That's gonna be fun. Hey, don't worry, Mike. You're playing
Sam Houston State like week four.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah, and you play it like three times, so not
a big deal.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Penn State's at three, Georgia's at four, Notre Dames at five,
Clemson at six, Oregon at seven, Alabama at eight, LSU
at nine, and Miami at ten.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Arkansas did it put in baby? They got fourteen votes
that put them at twenty six or seven twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
That's way that they won.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Thirty two, thirty three, thirty four, thirty five, thirty six,
thirty seven thirty eight, thirty nine, forty You.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Have to count thirty one, forty two, forty third.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Oh my gosh, yeah, he flipped the paper of a
couple of days too.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
We play Notre Dame at Arkansas. Dishoar, that's gonna be awesome, dude,
isn't that crazy? We played Notre Dame at Arkansas. Uh so,
I've not seen so little interest in Arkansas's football being
successful ever until this year.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
It sucks.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Now we could be listen with the portal and it's
by Petrino second year to being the head coach, or
say head coach being the offensive coordinator. Yeah, I know
it's it kind of sucks, and I hope I'm wrong.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
I hope.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Obviously the most important thing to me. I would cut
off a finger for a national championship.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
I might jam a finger just to get in the
colleg football playoff.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
A jam is worth it.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Yeah, Like threw me a basketball over and over to
a jam. This thing like it is the most important
thing to me.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
So yeah, that's what's up. I do want to go
over to Brandon.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Brandon has something happening in his life and he wants
our advice, and is it like a anniversary trip, Brandon,
Is that what it is?
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (22:23):
So September fifth is Alyssa and my Alyssa and me.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
It doesn't matter, Okay.
Speaker 9 (22:30):
It's our tenth anniversary. And her parents were like, hey,
we we want to come. We're going to watch your
four year old. You guys go do something fun, you know.
So my wife is a massive football fan, Like she
knows more about football than a lot of people that
I know, big Steelers fan, but all around you know,
football in general. So it's like, hey, like, you know,
(22:53):
we don't want to fly because we'd be gone like
Friday to Monday, you know. And it's you know, the
first week of regular season games. So we're looking between Indianapolis.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Easy Drive by the way, yep, and Indianapolis.
Speaker 9 (23:08):
Is playing the Dolphins or Atlanta and it's Buccaneers Falcons,
and so I don't know, like I was just gonna
ask you guys, like, what's you know, what's what's a
better what's a better trip in your eyes?
Speaker 1 (23:24):
You know, that's a good question.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
I think if I were going to pick one of
those two games out, because you don't really have a
favorite team of those, No, you're just going to experience
something yeah, so there are some things you should weig out.
Number one, the drive to Atlanta is a little shorter
than the driving Indianapolis, right, not by much, by forty
five minutes or so.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
At factor that in. What about cost like hotels?
Speaker 9 (23:45):
Okay, so this surprised me. Hotels in Atlanta are cheaper
than Indianapolis and staying right beside the stadium. Plus, we
love the traffic in Atlanta, you know you love it,
love it.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
I think I would go to Indianapolis. You would, Okay,
I think I'd rather go watch Indianapolis and the Dolphins.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Have you been to that stadium?
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah? I went to Super Bowl there.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
Oh yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
I think feel like I've been a couple of times.
The stadiums.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Both the stadiums gonna be awesome because Aslanta's got the
new football stadium, Mercedes Ben's Dome or whatever it is. Yeah,
I think i'd probably if I were picking, I think
i'd want to go watch of all of those teams,
the Colts and Dolphins.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
You I think I want to see I'm a child,
so I'm thinking like superstars. Who am I going to see?
I want to see Tyreek Hill. I'd like to see
Tyreek Hill. I'd like to see Tua. I'd like to see.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Okay, who are the biggest superstars period? Of those four teams?
Let's rank them.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Okay, there's Baker, Yeah, Baker.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Do you think Baker's number one of all four of
those teams?
Speaker 3 (24:44):
I think it'd be cool to see Baker.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
But I'm just talking about bigger superstars.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
I think Tyreek Hill probably, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
I think Tyreek.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
I think Tua is a bigger I think he's a
bigger star than Tyreek. I don't know, know that than
Baker than Baker saying better quarterback. But on the Dolphins,
those two on the Colts.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Yeah, I got no one.
Speaker 9 (25:12):
Oh Daniel Jones.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
You want to see Daniel Jones?
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Can we see Atlanta Michael Pennox?
Speaker 2 (25:18):
But again, I wouldn't say superstar yet. He only played
a couple of games last year.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Yeah, it's kind.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Of for crappy. I mean, Atlanta's got a pretty good
team that, like the receivers are really good too, Like
I feel like that would be good.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Gosh, man, I think I think personally, if I were picking,
i'd want to go up to Indianapolis and watch that game.
Speaker 9 (25:37):
Okay, and we were like, is are there some cool
things to do in the Indianapolis You know.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Oh that's a whole different thing.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Atlanta has far more, but it's far more spread out
because city is just much bigger. I think Indianapolis the
vibe will be much cooler around the stadium because it's
a much smaller market, and they love their team more
because it's when there's less to do somewhere, what there
is to do, people are more passionate about. I like it.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
I think that's probably Michael, what would you do?
Speaker 7 (26:01):
I'd go to Andy.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
We were there what a couple of years ago. I
liked it there. That stadium looks cool from the outside.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Yeah, we didn't go in the stadium. We went to
a Pacers game. But yeah, I've never been there, but Indie.
I mean yeah, in the drive, I remember the drive
being like a lot shorter than I thought it was.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
There's the exact same distance four hours, four and a
half hour.
Speaker 9 (26:19):
Here you go, dude, and way less traffic in Indianapolis
for sure.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Yeah, because you like, like that's your thing, like it's
the best, big, big non.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Traffic guy we here. Yeah, cool, that's awesome. Thanks guys,
When are you doing that?
Speaker 9 (26:33):
It'll be the weekend of September fifth.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
I think I'm a third. I'm gonna go to a
Cubs game.
Speaker 9 (26:38):
Yeah, I'm going with you, buddy.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
You are right, because you're gonna go shoot content.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Yeah yeah, yeah.
Speaker 9 (26:48):
But even if I wasn't, I would just follow what
are you doing?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Are you just gonna go watch? What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (26:53):
I'm gonna go up and be a guest.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
There's a couple of barstool shows that I'm gonna go
be a guest on. And then while i'm there, I'm
gonna go to the Cubs game. It's Cubs and Braves.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
That's awesome. So, I mean, I don't know that you
can't go me.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
I'll look at the calendar. I think that'd be amazing.
Don't even know what day it is, I don't know when.
Tell me the day. I'll look at the calendar, and
the boss.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
I know we're going it will probably go and come
back the same day, So that'd be pretty each that'd be awesome.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Yeah, Wednesday, it's a Wednesday, September third.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
It okay, even better, du Well, it's when we're planning
to go, I say, even better. But weekdays they're just
so hard with kids sports. Listen, I don't care if
you go or not telling you what's going on in
my head. Man, it's always the thing.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
I do want to do this story too before we
break it off for a second, but I was watching
TikTok on that Ohio State and Ohio haven't played in
fifteen years.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Have you guys seen this story.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
No, so they're not really in state rivals, but they
are in state and so obviously Ohio University hates Ohio
State because they're the smaller school that doesn't get the credit.
But they have decent athletic teams playing smaller conference. But
they showed the last time they've played, the mascot for Ohio,
which is a Bobcat, ran over and beat the crap
out of the mascot that's from Ohio State, which is Buddy.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Or something with your name is buck guy.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
Yeah, And at first people thought it was a joke,
but he was like, put ripped his head off.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
This is like this is like during the game, right
before their game.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
That's awesome, Like pulled his head off, like was like
punching them, like bruised him up, and they ended up
kicking the guy out of the mascot costume at Ohio University.
He was like nineteen and then he ended up leaving
school going to a different university, oh Man, because they
got in trouble. Was it was hilarious to watch the
video because someone like had it on their phone from
(28:33):
fifteen years ago. Fifteen years I would have thought just
watching because he runs up in the middle of the field,
that boilermaker whatever his name is, not a boilermaker Buck guys, yeah,
buck guy, buck guy whatever. That He's just doing his
thing on the field and the Bobcat runs out and
tackles him so hard.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
That you think it's a bit.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
You think it's a bit because he hits him so hard,
and you're like, too, nobody is stopping the Bobcat from
pounding the Buckeye because everybody thinks it's a bit.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Turns out, was it really a bit? The dude was
out for black.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Oh my gosh, that's hilarious.
Speaker 7 (29:03):
I'm here hilarious.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
What do you think though, because there are people standing
right next to the buck guy Ohio State people who
were just letting it happen because they think it's part
of like mascot on.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
Mascot, And they finally grab him. The head comes off
of the buck guy at one point.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
It was crazy and he got kicked out of school.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Well, so they kicked him.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
They kicked him out of the mascot program. He can't
be the mascot anymore. And then eventually he left school.
Uh huh because of supposedly what had happened in all
the heat guy.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
But pretty crazy video. Huh, it's hilarious. We'll put it out.
We'll put it up in the social clubs. You guys
can see this.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
But yeah, you can follow at Bobby Bone Sports. I
will take a break.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
And then I got some meat malet. These guys eat.
Speaker 6 (29:50):
All right.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
I brought you guys a gift.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Really, it's not something massive, but and I don't even
want to show the package because this is not a commercial.
This is the best jerky you will ever have. And
I'm over selling it because you don't like it. You
don't like jerky, Well, I love jerky you like because
on it it's it's only meat and salt. That's it.
And this is Rabbi steak good. This is not a commercial.
(30:15):
I just wonder if you guys think this is awesome.
Because I bought my house. I'm gonna get like, yeah,
because I don't people think it's a commercial.
Speaker 7 (30:22):
Did you just like discover it?
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (30:25):
Okay, okay, dude, a Ribbi steak in jerky form.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
My goodness, look at this looks like a well it's
a Rabbi steak, Kevin, come.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Get you a piece of this, dude. It looks like
a Ribby steak.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Because it is. It's it's a jerky it's a jerky steak. Okay, okay,
So not a commercial.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
You don't know what brand it is and I may
never share the brand.
Speaker 7 (30:46):
Well eat it.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
This is different.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
So like it's literally a Ribby steak. It's done like
beef jerky.
Speaker 7 (30:52):
You can see the fat on it and everything.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
Oh my gosh, dude, tell me there's no chewing involved.
Tell me that ain't heaven.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
It like breaks apart in your mouth, Oh my gosh.
And it tastes delicious.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
I know.
Speaker 7 (31:03):
It really is a steak.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
It really a steak like dried however they jerky jerky.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Yeah, they dry it up.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
They did it with Rebiy steak.
Speaker 7 (31:11):
It looks like they pressed down steak.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Yeah, they flattened it out and dry it out. No, No,
it's so good.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Oh it's not tough at all either.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
No, it falls apart in your mouth. Is amazing. It's
the craziest thing.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
I've never had jerky like this before ever.
Speaker 7 (31:28):
Where do you get this?
Speaker 3 (31:31):
How expensive is it?
Speaker 5 (31:32):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (31:32):
That's a problems.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
It's a steak.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
That's that's the problem.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
So not a commercial, not saying what the brand is.
The bag of it, which is.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Like, contains how many pieces, probably like fifteen or so? Okay,
thirty six dollars.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
That's pricey. Yeah, yeah, that's pricey because I got, say
two ribbis is about thirty six dollars.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
I got brisket. I got a bag of brisket, A
brisk one.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
How does that one taste awesome?
Speaker 2 (31:59):
I think I'm it and Gallato meeting so much of it? Yeah, Mike,
I want you could take part in this, but you're vegan.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
Yeah I could just smell it. Sorry, Mike, Mike, it
tastes really good.
Speaker 7 (32:09):
Just take our word for it.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
Hey, dumb question, but legit question.
Speaker 7 (32:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Do you you don't put a one sauce on this
to you?
Speaker 7 (32:14):
No?
Speaker 3 (32:15):
I don't need okay, because that's what he does.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I haven't thought about that. That might be good.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
But I brought that, and I put a note in
my phone to remind you guys to make sure I
brought it, because is it. I'm not over selling it.
I told you guys, I found the best jerk you ever.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
No, I've eaten a lot of jerky in my life, and.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
You guys want to split this one.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Yes, I've never had something that breaks into your mouth like.
Speaker 7 (32:39):
This either, like usually you have to like rip it
and tear it.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
U even even the fat, Like there's still fat in this.
It's literally a steak. It's a many slice of a steak.
Speaker 7 (32:50):
You gave me the people piece.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
So that's it. Again, I do the whole show about
this now or not, but we can.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
But I do want to prove my hype because I
was telling you guys when I ordered this, it was
literally the best.
Speaker 7 (33:03):
Did you hear about this or did you just come
across it?
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Came across it.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
I like meat, and I get a lot of ads
for meat, and so I buy a lot of stuff.
Yeah and so, and then I saw this and I thought,
because there was like five or six versions of this too,
this is the best one by far.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
So good.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
Yeah, it's so good. So okay, can you bring the
brisket one tomorrow. I can give you the link.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
We just keep asking you to bring samples. Then it
was really good. Yeah, it's a good fine, thank you.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
Kevin is staring at it. He's not even eating it,
he's just staring at it.
Speaker 7 (33:36):
I'm just like looking at it. Yeah. I love Ribbi too.
It's my favorite cut.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
It's just it's dried meat. Like whatever they did they
slice the steak. It's like they cooked the steak and
they sliced it and they dried it up.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
You guys can hit me in DMS if you're like, hey,
what is that? And I can tell you. But I
don't want people to feel like this is a commercial. Yeah, okay,
you won't tell us because it is not a commercial.
But it is a plus.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
So there's that.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Also, today Eddie and I were playing round four of
our golf.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Okay, not feeling great about it.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
Well, you're down four strucks.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
No, not only that, I did a little secret round
by myself the other day. I went by myself.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Oh, your public round.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
It wasn't good anything.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
Secrets canna be better?
Speaker 3 (34:16):
No. No, I just mean like it wasn't part of
our tournament. It's kind of like if during the Pebble
Beat tournament. You know, Jordan Spieth goes and does a
little side round somewhere else in the middle of the tournament.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Oh, in the middle of the tournament, because we're in
the middle of our tournament.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah, But the difference is they played all those days
in a row. You really can't get a side round.
I would expect you can just go play.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Who cares.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
I did, and I did, and I didn't play bad.
But dude, I just don't know what my SHOT's doing.
Like when I go up to the ball, I don't
know if it's gonna go left, don't know it's gonna
go right. I don't know it's gonna go straight. That's
a golf Yeah, I feel like I've been in better,
better position.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Do you feel like getting beat three times on a
row by me though, has affected your mental health? Yeah
a little bit, Yeah, because so you're like, I'm the best.
But then if we'd have played three rounds out of
won all three rounds, yeah.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
Correct, Yeah, but in the middle of it.
Speaker 1 (35:02):
But yeah, yeah, did you see the video The ball
was not in the weeds. It really was. Eddie's like
it's so deep in the weeds. Eddie's the one that picks
the ball. It was though you didn't see around it all.
It was on top of weeds that were laid down,
but in.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Front of it you had grasses.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
But you picked up the ball was the best part
of it, you see, Eddie. Reason to pick up the ball,
not me, No, but that's after you told me that
I'm not hitting.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
Notice I know, but I never touched it. You're the
one that went over and picked up the ball. So
the ball hadn't been manipula. It's like it was like
right there on top of it. I could have easily hit.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
It out of there. What do you think, Kevin, when
you saw.
Speaker 7 (35:29):
That it didn't look like it was in the weeds
at all.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
And then he's like in put on beautiful Bermuda. No,
we put it back like close to the creek. It
wasn't like in the fairway.
Speaker 3 (35:39):
Yeah, sorry, Eddie, I mean whatever, man, I think.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
I think it has a lot more to do than
just this poison ivy that's really getting Eddie.
Speaker 7 (35:47):
And this poison ivy is just something that you know
is just coming out.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Now the drop in the middle of the fairway all times,
and that's okay. It's fine to the gimmes. It's it's
all fine, it's okay, it's all part of the game.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
The gimmes. You're you want more gimmeis than anybody.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
No, I want true putt you and you negotiated a
gimme in there. Leave it up to us.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
You know, we negotiated the ability to say you can
have that, and he's the one that wants it more
than anybody. But yeah, you're just in a sour mood.
But round fourteen you could still win the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
Yeah, it's four strokes.
Speaker 7 (36:15):
It's only for one whole Well, you guys are what
is it triples whatever? But two holes, dude, you got it.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
I'd say it's tough because we're so close to the
same kind of golfer. Are we have one three times
in a row?
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah, but I mean, well, you're only up by four
in four in three rounds, so like, yeah, we're withining
one stroke every time, maybe two.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
I just pushed the gas a little harder when it's
time to win.
Speaker 3 (36:37):
Tell what it is. Yeah, you don't crumble.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Some would say, I.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
Don't know, dude, I'm just I'm not feeling good. I
might I might show up to the driving range five
hours early.
Speaker 7 (36:47):
I'm gonna make it worse.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Yeah, that never gets it for me. No, it does.
Speaker 7 (36:51):
Then you start shaking it on the driving range and
you're like, oh no.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
They just figure it out.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
We're going to play today, so look for you can
need to wait till next week whatever, or you can
look for the clip. Will put it up on Bobby
Bone Sports if you guys want to see the video.
Because Brandon comes out and shoots it and then read
a standing by and read edits it as it goes.
Speaker 8 (37:09):
You know that.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
No, I didn't know that. That's that's how hard.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
That's how we had the other one so quick, because
Brandon was shooting it and as soon as he would
shoot it, he'd send it to read read lives in
Saint Louis.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
You know, he's just pulling his put all day, so
he had nothing to do operations.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
Amazing. Yeah, so read for a dumb golf.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Yes, just sits there and throws lines on stuff. And
that's why that's why Brandon's he just birdied number four.
All right, So we'll do that today. You guys had
some jerky so good, I'll bring bring that. I'll give
you the link. Yeah, I'll give you the link.
Speaker 2 (37:40):
I'm so ready for there to be real sports again,
because there's there's nothing except training camp and mid season baseball.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
Oh, we're gonna have preseason though this weekend.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Even preseason at least gives you something to talk mbout. Yeah,
So I can't wait for this show to act.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
He'd be easy to do as.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
Far as like, there's just a lot of things we
want to talk about instead of going, oh man, what
are we gonna do today?
Speaker 3 (38:06):
With your feet?
Speaker 1 (38:06):
You guys beat Jerky as bits, which was delicious thing.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Yes, you're so mad at Jordan Speed, dude, Oh I
don't understand.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Like he he missed.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
A two foot putt and it cost me seventy dollars
everything that was in my bank for the month, Like
because because I bet that he was gonna part of
the hole, he left his birdy putt short. All he
had was a tap in a two foot putt and
he missed it, and all my money just went down there.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
If he'd have made the two.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Put I would have made like five bucks, ten bucks,
but you wouldn't have lost it.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
No, Instead, I've lost seventy freaking dollars, and I'm like,
I know I miss putts like that all the time.
We missed putts like that all the time. I did
not expect Jordan to miss a putt like that. Sorry, buddy, dude,
I was I break it out on me today.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Oh no, I'm not letting emotions take over me today.
Take it out on me. No, you got four strokes.
He climbed that back in two holes.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
I am so focused that I'm not even trying to
get mad. I'm not trying to get like fired up
for it. I'm just focused.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Okay, that's awesome.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
I'm still not hitting the ball well, but I'm focused.
He tried to, Like you said, you tried to go
out and play seek around. I played terrible.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
It's just I just don't know where the ball's going, dude, left, right, middle,
don't know.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
It's kind of Golf's weird that way, like you really
don't know until you get out there. Even if you
hit at the range're hitting pretty good, it's still like
a guessing game, like who's going to show up once
we get out of there On the actual tea box.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
How are you feeling pre round like I always.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
Do, crust my fingers and if I suck, I hope
you suck.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
See see, I feel like that's a problem watching your
shot and being like, suck, go in the back, go
go in, Go in the woods, go in the woods.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
You feel like you're competing that.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
I feel like that's a problem.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
I feel like I need to I don't root for
bad stuff to happen to you.
Speaker 3 (39:49):
Like when I said water, I really was like, I
get it.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
That means you don't have confidence in your own abilities
at that moment. Direct I don't have confidence in my abilities.
But I don't root for bad things that happen you.
I root for great things that happen to me. And
I like my favorite thing, my favorite thing.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
You're smiling so hard.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
It's if you hit a good shot and then I
outdo you because it just sucks the wind out out
of a person. Yeah, it's the best. And I'm not
saying that happens a lot. But it's like when you
are like making a charge, or you're a couple down
and you hit one like twelve feet and if I
happen to it one like eight feet, because you're like, oh,
I got a chance to get and I just pull
that out and suck it out of you. Oh, that's
the best feeling. That when you start to feel confidence
(40:30):
and I rip it away, that's it.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
That's a plus.
Speaker 4 (40:33):
You're like happy, Gilmore, somebody's closer.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
And I don't even say anything.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
I say anything, he doesn't, but I can tell you're happy.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
That's my favorite moment and emotion where it's like, oh,
guy just thinks he got me.
Speaker 3 (40:46):
You know. Sometimes I'm like, you know what, I want
to beat him when he's playing well, yeah, no, I
don't want to beat him when he's playing bad, but
I'm like, screw that. Today, I'm like, play bad, dude.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
Win's a win. Okay, cool, that's what's up.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
That's what you know we should do, Brandon, are you
gonna be popping stuff to read as we go?
Speaker 1 (41:04):
If you like send shots to read.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
We should update as it goes, and we'll have read
make a video, but have them send like an edited
shot back to you and we'll put it up on
the Bobby Bone Sports story and then at the end
we'll put it all together on the feed.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
But let's do that. We'll give live updates as we go. Shot.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
Yes, PN doesn't want to buy this.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
No, the campras out there, all students on the cameras. Yes,
all right, we will see you guys early next week.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
You guys have a great day. Goodbye, everybody.
Speaker 3 (41:31):

out there, we go, Bye everybody.
