Speaker 1 (00:01):
Dude hitting it.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
This is a podcast called twenty five whist stuck in
fun Ball and they are a whist So yeah, it's
too bad, but it wasn't too expect It's a podcast
called twenty five whistles Wine.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Welcome to the show, Eddie, Thank you, Thank Kevin.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Day.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
This is the trophy for the twenty twenty five's Better
Golfer of Eddie and myself, which I won. Uh. Never
actually fell behind? Pretty great, what a day. It even
rained our last day in the middle of the round.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah. I was wondering that yesterday when I was driving
it and it's sort of dumping.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Yeah, right, pretty hard. We stayed out there though.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
That's fun. You didn't fall behind ever, that's right. We
evened up at one point, but that didn't last very long.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Yeah. The back played, I played piss poor the front
nine like two or three triples. Even in the back
nine through seven holes, I was even again two birds.
You know, he was playing out of the I played
defense at the end, just held him off, just held
him offense. Knew where he was. I just tracked him.
I just I just stalked him, stalked him.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Did you play like conservative?
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Very much?
Speaker 1 (01:12):
So? Okay, so instead of taking like that long shot,
I'll just play around over very much.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I'll lay it up over here.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Then lay it up on the green and tuput.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
I wish you were that easy, but not that the
probably the biggest cheating that we've seen, and I choose
not to bring you. I choose not to bring it up.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
You don't want to admit to that. Don't admit to No,
I'm not.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Admitting to anything. I'm just saying there's something really suspect
that happened. But you know it doesn't matter. I Won'll
move away from who.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Well, who do you think, Kevin? You had a guess?
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Well, because he's bringing it up, I'm gonna.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Say, you know, but because he's not talking about it,
I would disagree it wasn't.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Because he's not talking about.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
It's beyond. It's past us.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Okay, we're moving on because I have won the champion.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yeah, I wish he was a lefty.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
I know he's a righty like me. I'm telling you.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Well, Tom lord By manager came out with us, and
he surprised us with the trophy because I brought a
trophy for the occasion. But yeah, it feels good. It
feels good to be the champ. Eddie now has to
go stand on a street for two hours, two hours
with the sign and then costume. It's great.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
It's fun though, Yeah, it was it fun for you, Eddie.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Uh, it was getting fun on the last round, like
when I took the when I when I made four
strokes in the front nine and I'm like, oh my gosh,
we're even like it's feeling good. And I was feeling good.
I was playing well until man, I got a couple
of triples in there. Bobby Birdie too.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
After he got caught cheating. It really fell.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
I want to hear this.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
No, you don't want to hear it because there's no cheating.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Because I said, Eddie never plays well after he cheats
and he down.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
But I never cheated, so that didn't That didn't count.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Was a ball drop?
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Is a ball drop right by the green, right by
the way he went into the water, and then he
went up to where it went in the water and
even ahead and dropped the ball.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
I thought, I thought we weren't talking about.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
This, and I'm like, that is very suss.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Did he say anything like, hey, drop here?
Speaker 4 (03:08):
I knew exactly where I had to drop right.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Even Tom was like, you're not gonna say anything. I
was like, let the guy, Let the guy live his life.
But it's over and we're not yet.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
It's over.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
I have the trophy on the champion. It feels good
for you much.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Hey, I'm glad you guys, I'm glad. It was a good,
good round. Like at least he didn't win by like
seven strokes.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Oh no, it is a one stroke.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
It was one stroke and I was playing very much
defensive thing.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
Oh yeah, but that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It
ended in a one stroke, which means we are so
close the same kind of golf.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Were not at all.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Again, we do know one thing. No, lady, you're not
the better golfer.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Bobby is the better golfer.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I was playing very conservative at the end.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
This is gonna haunt you forever, won't.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
No, no, no, no, dude, you.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Beat him like on a random day.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
He's just even be like I won the four day
tournament that you wanted to play.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Let me tell you something. The anxiety, the stress, the
preparation in this four day tournament was it was tiring.
It was tiring because every week I'm like, man, I've
got to get better. I've got to get better. And
then every every round that I went, you know, minus
or added strokes to his lead, it was like, I've
(04:22):
really got to play out of my mind. So, dude,
I was worried all week about this and I'm kind
of relieved it's over. And you know what, congratulations, thank.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
You, thank you very much.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
That's all I can say. Congratulations, you are the better golfer.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
We're good.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
We can move on from there.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Okay, how does it feel?
Speaker 1 (04:38):
How long are you gonna leave that trophy on that desk?
You think I'm gonna put them off?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Didn't matter. I already knew I was a better golfer.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
What do you mean it doesn't matter that much to you?
You're going to disrespect the association.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
I'm not disrespecting it. It just does not hold a
high regard like some of the other stuff. So of course,
it's like me getting an award for being six foot tall.
Yeah dumbix tall? Oh obvious, yeah six foot one. Excuse me,
I got a six foot one award. I'll be like, duh,
why are you giving me an war for this? Everybody
already knows it. So that's what's fair, that's what you are.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Sure we can make that award.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Let's move on. We can move over to one of
your kids. So your six year old was invited to
play a travel ball.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Yeah, I mean he's a little baller. And so one
of the coaches on our old team was like, Hey,
I got this other guy who's like trying to put
together a travel team. Not a travel team like for
the next year or the next two years, but for
when they're ten years old. And my son's six. Wow.
So he's holding like two practices a week off season
(05:40):
and just to prepare this group of like I don't know,
I think they're like twelve or thirteen kids. So when
they turn ten years old, they're ready to play a
travel team together.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
It feels like a European soccer Yeah, one of those
organizations you get into and they find the good kids
and they just raise them or China with the do
everybody this kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Thank for that long and everyone is good. Like we've
already gone to a couple of practice and everyone all
the kids are solid. I mean they're not they don't
look like they're awesome, but they're already steps ahead of
everyone else. Kind of at that age.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
So what I can't help but to think, like what
happens if you do all this practice for two years
and then like everyone else gets really good, not your kid,
but like a kid isn't as good as they're Like, actually, yeah, that's.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
A good question.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
They're not playing right now at all.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Well, I think they'll play regular seasons. One team depends,
Like some kids have other teams already and they'll just practice.
And that's kind of what we're doing. Like we have
a team already, but we're gonna go to those practices
two times a week if we're able to go in
hopes that I guess this team gets better and then
they could travel. Dude, I'm not about this travel life though,
(06:40):
Like and I already told the coach, like I'm not
committing to traveling to Saint Louis on a random weekend
to play a baseball tournament yet.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
So but I think you will if your kid plays,
you allow them to play, and that's what they do, right,
Like once you say yes, then you have to go
to the games.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
And yeah, I commit.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Yeah, how I ended up on travel ball? TikTok. Let's
just dad's either bragging, like yeah, we won national championship
and they're like, oh yeah against the country. Well no,
like we were in Des Moines and it was just
like six teams, oh, like the six best teams in
the country.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
No, just from like region like Middle Iowa.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Yeah. Yeah, so it's not national champion Well no, it
was open yea. It's like so somehow it ended up
on that part of TikTok.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
That's weird. That's a weird one. Yeah. But this team's crazy, dude.
We have one of the kids. Their dad was a
is a hockey player. I don't know if he's a
current hockey player, but he played for the Preds.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Name Ellis. Ryan Ellis sounds like somebody I should know.
I know nothing about hockey, though.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
I think he was part of like the team where
they were in the Stanley Cup playoff or in the
in the championship Ryan Ellis. Yeah, oh still m which
I thought it was weird because like, he's a hockey player.
I would expect him to have his son in hockey.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Well you know, maybe he does as well. But if
they live in Nashville, but this is.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
A trial, like this is going to be a travel team,
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
If I was a professional. If he's Canadian, he probably
grew up as a kid and hockey was all around
him his kid growing up in Nashville. His dad plays hockey,
but hockey's not all around him. I'm sure it's baseball, football, basketball,
because he's living in the South. Sure, so it's mostly
about that. Probably them what your dad does.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
I just think, man, is he a big dude, because
he's no defenseman?
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Not really. I mean he's he's bigger than me, but
he's not like abnormally big, which I didn't know he was.
Even Like hockey players football players sometimes you don't really
even know what they look like unless you do research
because they have masks like helmets.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
And baths, especially hockey, because you don't really watch.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
But the coach was like, it's cool, we got a
couple of celebrities on the team. Okay, I'm like, well,
what are you talking about? Well, you you're on the
radio right And I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah, I'm on
the radio. And then we got a hockey player dad
over there.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
That's cool.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Apparently the parents are talking about us.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Did the two celebrities hang out?
Speaker 4 (08:49):
No? I never talked to Ryan Ellis at all. I
just see him there.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
I did see Archie Manning predict and Archie Manning is
the grandpa of arch But Archie Manning's like he's not
going pro this year. Yeah, came out and said that
about Arcs, like he's gonna be in Texas another year,
which I think a lot of people felt that could happen.
But still when you see draft boards, they were putting
him up there, usually top three quarterbacks, sometimes number one,
(09:15):
but you would see like ness Meyer at number one
in some of these, you'd see Drawler at number one,
and some of these arch definitely up there as well.
But Archie seems to think that, even though he hasn't
really talked about it specifically with him, that he's confident
he will stick around and not declare for the twenty
twenty six NFL Draft. And that's from Texas monthly. I
was thinking about this, even if he wants to, I
think this is the perfect thing to say because it's
(09:36):
going to alleviate so much pressure. Yeah from him, like
you're playing for your drafts? He said, no, I'm good,
I had two more years here. Yeah, Like you don't
feel like you have to do it all this year.
People aren't also going you're number one in the dreft
Why I'm not even going it's not true. So I
think a bit of this is to alleviate pressure. But
I do think he'll probably stay as well. Yeah Peyton did, Yeah,
(09:58):
Eli did? Yeah right, they both say to their senior years.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Yeah, and he's one year.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
I don't know if Eli did for sure, but I
know Peyton did. I remember once Arkansas on All Miss
with Peyton Manning, we played a seven overtime game at.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
All I was watching that specifically, remember watching that game.
That was the first time I heard of Eli Mann.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
How exhausting for the players.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
It's crazy. Gosh, what do you see about Eli?
Speaker 1 (10:20):
I'm looking, Yeah he did, he did.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Look at that. You think it's weird that a grandpa
talks about his grandson.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
I would think it was weird if his grandpa wasn't
a very famous college quarterback, pro quarterback and uh media
personality all those things. No, because his grandson is the
most famous college player in the whole world, so of
course you're can ask him about that. Yeah, So if
it were just like Kevin's grandpa would be like, that's weird.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
But I wonder if Cooper is like, hey, Hey, Dad,
I'll talk, I'll talk, I'll talk about I don't think so, Okay.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
I think it'd be more weird if Cooper said something
than just because Arch is that's like a football it
dad though, I know, but like Cooper is like the
one manning. Everyone kind of forgets about no offense.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Obviously because he didn't play pro ball, right.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
And you know, injuries and all that. But Arch is
like a football god, especially college football.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah, but Arch is also out talking a lot for
other reasons other than Archie is out talking a lot
for reasons that aren't just Arch. And so if he's
doing he's talking about college football, if he's talking about
whatever he saw, they also can ask questions about Arch. Yeah,
Arch's dad, Cooper is not going to be randomly out
talking about something just football in general. He's only gonna
(11:31):
be talking about his son for the most part. If
that's the case.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
Yeah, yeah, good point.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Do you guys have your list?
Speaker 1 (11:40):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (11:40):
I got my lists all right?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Top five? Ed do you want to go first?
Speaker 4 (11:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Go ahead?
Speaker 4 (11:44):
Top five athletes that dated famous hotties like this is
kind of well, Travis Kelcey, I guess yeah, go ahead ahead.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
Okay, I'm gonna. I think the list probably happened in
your mind because Travis kelce Dan Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
Oh, I just thought, like athletes, they eight hotties. Yeah,
they sometimes marry the hotty.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Is that on your list?
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Travis Kelcey number one? Okay, number one, Ed Taylor? So
Travis Kelcey, is it all football players?
Speaker 3 (12:08):
No?
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (12:10):
And this is all time athletes.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
So I'm gonna guess. Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson is at number three.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
I saw Jessica Simpsons playing the Opry coming up. Really,
Oh that's cool, weird, Huh?
Speaker 4 (12:23):
You can go to that.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
No, I won't go unless I'm playing, And I don't
think I'm playing at night. Okay, it's too far from home.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Yeah, it's it's out there. The Opry's out.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
There, okay. So Romo, Jessica, Travis Taylor, I think famous, okay,
but I don't want to hear anything famous famous. I
don't think David Beckham, Victoria Beckham. If you're like, but
that's soccer, is that your guess? Yeah, but you're just
not a soccer guy. I don't know that you'd put
that in the top five, but yeah, I guess it.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Number two David Beckham, posh spice, let's go and they
got married. They're still married.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Now, you didn't do like Troy Aigman Laurie Morgan, which
I brought out.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
No, no, no, no to do that. And one of them
I feel like I should take off the list because
I had to look it up. All the other ones
came came to my mind quickly.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
So there's two left.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
There's two left?
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Are they both in my lifetime?
Speaker 4 (13:13):
No? One of them is? One of them is not?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
You want to guess.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Athletes that dated hot so I.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Think of like Chris Humphreys dated Kim k they got married,
dated Kim Kardashian. Yeah, but he wasn't super famous, but
he was the athlete.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
He was the athlete that dated famous hotties.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Is that is that one of your guests?
Speaker 2 (13:39):
No?
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Did you say Tony Romo?
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Yeah, it's on the list as number three.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Famous hearties.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Okay, so let's go into the football space. Who's dated famous.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
You don't want to guess Chris humph I don't.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
I don't think he's famous enough. Have the Jenners dated
other athletes. There's oh yeah, like Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
And that's a good one to think about that you can.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Put that on there.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
I didn't put that. I would definitely, I think I
would put that one on over one of them. I'm
just gonna tell you, dude, now they tell me, you
already guessed it. It was Chris humphreyes and Kim Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian's the hotty. That was huge, But that's number five.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
I think I'd have probably gone Reggie Bush over Chris Humphreys.
Was Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
What that's crazy? Reggie Bush did here?
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Who?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Tristan Thompson, Yeah, that's that's Chloe Kardashian.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Yeah, and then lamar Odom.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Yeah yeah, jeez, there's one more. Huh one more in
my lifetime. No oh, and this is old school black
and white.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Black and white OG probably the o G where the
whole world was like, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
If it's black and white, it's probably not going to
be n B A. NBA really didn't start popping until
Magic Bird era to where they were famous with the
famous person like able to get a really famous person
so I take NBA out in NFL. Who even in
the NFL, there's like only a few stars that transcended.
(15:14):
But like the sports for black and white days were boxing,
horse racing, and baseball boxing good. I don't even know anybody,
but those were the sports. Because I listened to this
history podcast I was talking. It basically talked about the
sports that were the most popular, and like horse racing
not on the mark, but horse racing, boxing is popular,
and baseball were the big ones. I'm not gonna get
horse racing. I'm cutting out. That's my number because I
(15:36):
don't know who sea biscuit number four, sea basket boxing.
If it's not like.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Muhammad Ali and he was, he didn't anybody, Joe.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Lewis, I don't know, George Foreman. No, So we go
to baseball, Mickey Mantle.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Which one dated, Marilyn Monroe.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Joe Demaggio, great one, that's our answer, Joema.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Marilyn Monroe.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
There's one of them that.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Did I know that?
Speaker 4 (16:03):
I mean that was a big deal. Yeah, sure for
back in the day.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Sure you have a list.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
You know. I misunderstood the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Oh wow, what happened?
Speaker 1 (16:10):
I just read it wrong. I read it as this
what mean it as I read it as these are
what we're gonna go over tomorrow. I didn't see the
whole come up with your own.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Got it?
Speaker 1 (16:20):
So my fault for just gimming through it. Five ways.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Kevin's an idiot?
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yeah, I like it.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Okay, Top five NFL players who had cool hair?
Speaker 4 (16:28):
Oh, this is good mine. Okay, let's guess Kevin, since
he didn't have a list. Dennis Rodman's got to be
on there.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Oh, great one. But I said NFL players, Well.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
Dance Robin didn't play in the NFL. He could have
probably the Boz.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Bosworths didn't. Y.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Yeah, nice, Yes he played. I mean it wasn't very
long that he played the NFL.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
I had Yeah, a couple years, few years, okay, yeah,
because I remember that one, yeah boom with Jackson. Yeah
that's cool.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
I think also him being in Seattle hurt too, because
you're over in those markets, especially then, like you're the
Super West Coast market, and television wasn't the same. They
weren't showing games and markets.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
What about trying to think guys with drugs that would
get pulled on like Chris Johnson and see like Chris Johnson.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Top five NFL players with cool hair. Chris Johnson, uh
would have made honorable mention. He's not my top five,
though he did have long dreads. I did have him
on his honorable mention, but he did not make.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
To Derrick Henry, he's another dread guy.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Oh, Dereck Henry. He's got that one, that one dread
that comes out.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Is that your answer?
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Incorrect?
Speaker 4 (17:37):
Let's think. Let's think. Oh, well, Patrick Mahomes man when
he his hair kids all over the place. We're doing
that mullet thing. Yeah, it's like a faux hawk mullet thing.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
You only get three strikes? Is that your answer?
Speaker 1 (17:50):
We have two? Huh no, you only one?
Speaker 4 (17:52):
I have to go mahomes think about like he.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
Made honorable mention but did not make.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
It really and shoulders commercials?
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Oh, paulam number one? Answer?
Speaker 4 (18:01):
Troy, good job, Kevin. Do we have three strikes each?
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Got total? Your teamwork?
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Dang it?
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Okay, really got to pay off here.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
So we got one one.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
You got Paula Mallow at number one, Brian Bosworth a
number two. I'll say one of these guys has been
named but in another category, oh my category? Who knows dud,
you're the only other.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Okay, so who is? Tony Roman didn't.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Have good hair? I said name. I didn't even say
made the list.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
Names misses everything. It does mess everything up. Joe Montana
had good hair. Mm hm. Reggie Bush Joe dem football player.
Oh yeah, uh we talked about Reggie Bush. Who else
did we talk about my list?
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Joe Namath correct?
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Boom dude, Joe Namath had solid hair.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
Correct two more. I give you a HND on both
of them. They're both the defensive players.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
Ooh, Lawrence Taylor, didn't you have cool hair? Like little
like lightning bolts?
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, it was cool.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
I feel like Lawrence Taylor had cool hair, even like
dyed it.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Can you give us a decade or no, that's too easy. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
I gave you kind of like black and white.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
I've given you like free packs. I've given you honorable mentions,
not being a strike. Lawrence Taylor made honorable mention. Wow,
he would have been number seven, but it's only top five.
I'll tell you Number six was Odell Beckham junr.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Oh, that's good.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Everyone had his haircut.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
So four and five both defensive players, both white.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Oh jj Watt, No.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Howie long had cool hair.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Oh, that's a good one.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
Kind of had like a buzz cut, but it was spiky.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Yeah, it was like a mullet buzz.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
Yeah, he's defensive. You want to go how long?
Speaker 3 (20:03):
How? Why?
Speaker 4 (20:06):
How long? And packers? Oh, Matthews play Matthews.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Do the long Goldie lot along here and the number
five Vikings Jared Allen, Correct, you did have cool hair?
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Correct?
Speaker 3 (20:22):
You on my other list? Yes, sir, bring it best
NFL players were number eighty eight.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
Oh, let's go all the cowboys? Wait, hold on, No,
I don't want to those aren't strikes. Hold on, let
me let me reel it in, because dude, you got c. D. Lamb,
you got Dez Bryant, you got Drew Pearson, you got
Michael Irvin. Those are all Dallas cowboys, War eighty eight?
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Who else? War eighty eight?
Speaker 3 (20:47):
Who are you guessing as your first guess?
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Michael Irvin?
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Michael Irvin number one, number eighty eight. Job.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Yeah, you put CD above dead.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
Well they both could be on there. It is you're
trying to get on the list.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
Or if there's no way you could have put all
the cowboys on there, you should have put all the
cowboys on there, but there's no way you did. Who
else is eighty eight six? Lets stay away from the
Cowboys for a.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Second, think not Randy Moss not? Uh? What was Andre Johnson?
He's eighty one?
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Jerry Rice was eighty. Do we got their CD in there?
CD's gotta be on there, right? What do you think Dez.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Deaz was? I think CD is better, but Dees did
it for a little longer as of right now go,
I'll let you pick this one.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
I feel like I feel like we gotta go with
one of those dudes.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Let's go CD number five.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Dude, we gotta think of something else other than the Cowboys, though,
two down, three to go. I can't Jackson Smith and Jibba?
Who else is it?
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Right?
Speaker 4 (22:04):
Oh? Said Randy Moss in the eighty.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
Eight he's eighty four, eighty one.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
Chris Carter, Chris Carter, he's eighty eighty.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Larry Fitz was eleven. Calvin Johnson, Oh he was eighty one,
he was eighty one.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
Good call, dude.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
This is three left, ten seconds left.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
This is tough.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
The Cowboys, the Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
That's Bryant correct number three? Man, oh man, you got
two left?
Speaker 4 (22:46):
So could Drew Pearson because there's no way he put
Drew Pearson on the list.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
I've got three Cowboys, Urban Dez, and CD so far, one, three,
and five.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
This is terrible. All we have his Cowboys?
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Oh yeah, terrell O ones eighty one?
Speaker 4 (23:00):
Oh my gosh, old eighty one.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Yeah, I know a lot of eighty one.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Steve Largent.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Gotta throw a white guy.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Oh what about some of the we's What was Welker? No?
Eighty four?
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Dude, I think he was eighty one too? Or no?
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Oh, Randall Cobb? What's he eighty eight.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
With the Packers.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
There's no way he was eighty eight with the Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
No, he's eighteen.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
He was eighteen?
Speaker 3 (23:39):
Oh my god, yeah he was eighteen.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
This is hard, dude.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
All right, I need an answer, dude.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Dude, let's do it.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Drew Pearson with the Cowboys, Drew Pearson's Come on, Kevin,
you didn't put a list together, dude, come up with something.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
After strike two. I'll give you a hint.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Oh, who's the white guy for the Jets?
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Grebette?
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Yeah, Corbettinker.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
You don't so you don't know how to say his name,
but you think he's on the list.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Did you do not have anybody else though, I'm eighty eight.
I'm pretty allen. I'm pretty sure they're both in the
Hall of Fame.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
He's running back, Widen might well, now you got me
thinking about Steve Largent too.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
Steve what number one?
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Throw Steve Large on the list. Can we guess.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
What eighty eight?
Speaker 4 (24:37):
I feel like he was.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
I don't know that one.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Is that your guest, Seattle Seahawks Steve Largent?
Speaker 3 (24:44):
That is incorrect. Steve Large was number eighty.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Got so many eighties and eighty one? All right? All right?
Speaker 3 (24:52):
I think the hint was they're both in the Hall
of Fame.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
They both are known for playing for a FC teams,
although one of the one of them played his whole
career with the same team one switch, But I think
mostly he's known for playing it for the AFC team.
They're both AFC guys. One's not a wide receiver, tight end.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Oh that's a good Winslow.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
Uh. Who's the Atlanta Falcons guy?
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Oh? Yeah, Tony?
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Was he eighty eight? I feel like he was eighty eight? Yeah,
good call in the tight end Tony Gonzalez.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
What team would you say? Tony Gonzalez is the most
known for the Falcons. No, Chiefs, yeah, Chiefs.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
Yeah, is he on.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
There, Tonal? That was I was talking about.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Played for one Yeah, I was thinking just receivers.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
And then the next one was wide receiver a FC
his whole career, hall of Famer.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
And played with the same team.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Oh well, oh he is a Hall of Famer.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
Let me make sure.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
I was gonna say to Marius Thomas.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Make sure he's in the Hall of Fame.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
You say he's a receiver.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
This person was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of
Fame in the year come on this zouge twenty sixteen.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
Yeah, but I mean that could be just the year
they were inducted.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
What is the year they were inducted?
Speaker 4 (26:14):
I know, so that means they could have played, like.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
I don't know, said NFCC one team his entire career.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Did you say he's a receiver, Yeah, you say his receiver.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
I didn't say that, but I will now.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
Colts t Y.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Hilton, Oh yeah, Colts, Marvin Harrison. That's it.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
Oh how did we get that?
Speaker 3 (26:44):
Well? I gave you like an hour thought question. Have
you been watching Joe Mixon a practice? No? He said,
I five, You're bomb me through for a touchdown. Joe Mixon.
Everywhere he goes, he puts up film Joe Milton, Sorry,
(27:05):
Joe mix Oh Joelton. Yes, I've also seen mixing a
practice of the Texans. Yes, I was like, wait point,
good point.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
I saw a dumb video where they were comparing back
to Joe Milton. Guys, that's so mean.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Like nobody has the Milton arm. I think Milton at
the biggest arm in the NFL. He's always had that,
even when he was a Tennessee I mean supposedly he
wanted to start with the Patriots. That's why they traded him.
What do you know about that?
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah, he got Drake ma'am sorry, get out of here.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
And so Joe Milton now is crushing seventy five yard touchdown.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Yeah, he is the practice machine, but he looks like
the guy in practice. He was the same thing with
the Patriots in just one year. Was like, oh my gosh.
And then preseason remember last year he played and people
were like, oh my gosh. Then he won the final
game when we needed to lose a game, and it
was like, get out of here.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
I remember that. Yeah, he won the game when it
needed to be lost. Yes, that means he won with
like extra against him though, yes, she gets fired up. Dude,
what if like, well, that's gonna miss games for injury? Oh,
just you're just un come how sun goes down? Dak
is going to miss him games for injury?
Speaker 4 (28:02):
No, man, He says he feels great, like the healthiest
he's ever felt. Well, probably not the healthiest. But but
does he say that He said he feels really really healthy.
That felt yea.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
What is your actual expectation, not your rose colored glasses,
what is your actual expectation of the Cowboys?
Speaker 4 (28:18):
I think that we make the playoffs again and we
advance to the make the playoff list.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
You know, No, that's why you said again, I don't know,
question missed.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Last year and then so we're going to go back
into the playoff game and then we will probably win
the first playoff game and then lose a second.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
So super wild card, you win that one.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Yes, and then we lose we lose the.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
First before the division chamge.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Yes, we won't make a division championship, conference championship.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Whatever that is. That is my prediction because anything below
that is disappointment to you. Absolutely anything above that is
that fulfilling.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
That's gonna be amazing.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
So if you win a game in the playoffs, you
are good, yes.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
Because we haven't done that in a long time, and
that's gonna be good. And that hopefully we'll get us
in the super Bowl because it's never.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Happened next year. Because you just said you're happy, No.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
I'll be happy. But I mean if they go with
the super Bowl, of course, I'd be ecstatic.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
No.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
No, but I'm saying if they just win one game
but they lose the second playoff game in like heartbreaking fashion,
what's offen?
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Yeah, that's okay, that's all right, it's a plus. We're
trajectory upward.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
So for the next year, though, you feel good?
Speaker 4 (29:25):
Correct? Got it?
Speaker 3 (29:26):
And what is your expectation of the Patriots.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
If they were in the NFC, I'd just say the playoffs,
But I.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
Think if they were in the NFC.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
Yeah, they a FC so much harder.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
AFC is so much harder.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Yeah, but what fantasy world we be living in? They're not,
I know.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
But I'm just saying, Grandma and your grandma, I forgot'
how ball.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
She'd be king eight wins. I'll be happy with eight wins,
eight and nine. I know people are talking about they
can make the playoffs and this and that, but I
just the hype is so much and I'm like, I
don't know about let's pump the brakes a little bit.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
So what though?
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Is it eight wins? So eight and nine right on
the cusp of the playoffs. But if they just miss.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
I'm okay and they don't make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, Like, but if they make the playoffs, it's a
huge bonus.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
I was thinking about my expectations for Arkansas football. Come on,
because that's my team. If we win seven games, that's
really good because we're not We're not there to win games.
We didn't build our roster to win games. It sucks.
What did you build your roster for existence? Fill up
phillip spots? It sucks. I'm so sad about it. Yeah,
(30:36):
if we lose below seven, I might have to make
some public declarations.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
Oh we don't even want to think about that, dude.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
I know, and I've never done that. But if we
only win six games and everybody's like, well, look how
hard our schedule is. Everybody in the SEC has a
hard schedule, Yeah, everybody. You don't play in the SEC
and not have a heart. We play five ranked teams, okay,
so does everybody else. They had to play four or
five or six, and a lot of those teams that
rank now won't be ranked later, so you don't really
(31:05):
know who the good teams are to the end of
the year. So seven games, as got is the bottom
for me. Anything below seven, I got to make some
public declarations. Oh I've never made a public declaration.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
I'm gonna pray they get seven games.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Dude, I kind of want to see the declaration.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
No, I don't. We don't want to see that.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Even seven though, is like, really, we've gone through all this.
I'm only winning seven games.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
I know, but that's your mark. That's your mark. So
have they hit seven, you've got to be okay.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
I need something. I need some optimism, Like, I just
don't want to have to make a public decoration.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
You know, nobody wants that. Nobody wants that telling you guys,
nobody wants that.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
Body wants that. So it's gonna be tough, that's what's up.
Oh yeah, you want to hear our schedule?
Speaker 4 (31:46):
Oh yeah, I'd love to hear that.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
You know, we do, Like I mentioned, we play Notre
Dame at Arkansas this year is that mid season, it's
like game three or four.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
You gotta go to that one.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
I might, it just depends. Okay, there we go Game
one in Arkansas against Alabama A and M August thirtieth
when we should have that one. When game two in Fatteville,
Arkansas versus Arkansas State have that one. I think it's
a Favebville. Maybe a little rock, but it's whatever. Game
(32:17):
three Arkansas at Ole Miss.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Draw toss up, but we don't know what they are either.
They lost Jackson Darton.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
Yeah, but they have that crazy good quarterback.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Yeah, but we don't know.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Okay, pick whoever you want. You're really betting money on it.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
This is a straight money line, right yeah, straight money line.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
And it's it's in Oxford.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Oh, I'm gonna have to go at Ole Miss.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
Arkansas at Memphis.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
Arkansas's got that Arkansas, Okay, three wins.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
So far, Notre Dame at Arkansas.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
Sorry, we can go with the Irish. Still three wins,
but but it's gonna be a fun game.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
Arkansas at Tennessee, Tennessee still three wins. Texas A and
M at Arkansas.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
I don't know what's going on over there.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
Am stacked.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
They're always stacked.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Yeah, exactly, all right, and we haven't beat them in forever.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
That's the one where you usually play at the Cowboys stadium, right, I.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
Think it's possibly back. I don't know he has a station. Regardless,
it's like two years in a row.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
You guys had to lead in that game or something.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Yeah, we don't win that game.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
Okay, hey, I say you win that game.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
I don't need your charity. I'm asking you who you're
betting on.
Speaker 4 (33:28):
I'll throw a little flyer on that, okay, a little
fun bet.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Auburn at Arkansas you win that. Yeah, Mississippi State at
Arkansas win, you win that. Arkansas Texas you lose that.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Good luck lose that.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Missouri in Arkansas lose it. They kind of have our number.
But if all that goes, I think we win six games.
That's if we win that A and M game.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
That's the one I gave you.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
You gave me that for charity.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
It could happen, man, make one of those random wins.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
Gave me that for charity. So yeah, that's what's up.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
So that puts us at six.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
With that, there's always one in there that you don't
expect so one in.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
There the other way that you don't expect to lose.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
Yeah, the Arkansas State one.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
That'd be terrible. That would be terrible for us to
be terrible.
Speaker 4 (34:13):
Okay, that's it exciting though. How excited are you for football?
Speaker 3 (34:18):
I can't wait. It's the most. It's what I look
forward to the most because Arkansas football is my favorite
thing in the whole world. That's not like that doesn't
live in my house do.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
What's crazy, too, is I'm watching pre I have preseason
games on the house, and like the kids are even
excited about preseason games, mostly just to see some of
the kids that like got drafted and like like we
saw Ashton Genty, like you know, play not that good, but.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
It's cool with minus one yard.
Speaker 4 (34:42):
That's cool.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
Yeah, all right, cool, Thank you guys, We'll see you later. Goodbye, everbody,
