This is a podcast called twenty five Wists stuck at
twenty and they whizz So yeah, it's too bad, but
what did you expect. It's a podcast called twenty five
Whist Souls Line.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Hello, everybody, walk home to the show. Eddie hit it.
That's a hard one.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
God, I'm feeling it today.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Fired up?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Oh yeah, fire up for the weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Cowboys are paying the giants.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
If you don't win that all. Listen, here's the thing.
All of the optimism that you have and had based
on a close loss on the road at Philadelphia, it
all goes away.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Right.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
You have to win this game.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
We have to win this game. I think we will
win this game. And that's why I'm so excited this God,
this weekend is gonna be great.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Man, it never works out for you when you think.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
That, really, yeah, I should just chill a little bit.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
No, I'm happy to take it easy. I just never
have that where I'm like, oh, yeah, we got it,
Because if it's a game where I feel like we
got it, it's like we're playing like an FCS school
or something, and I'm not even excited about the game.
And if it's a game where I think maybe we do,
maybe we don't, then I feel like we don't. You know,
we'll mess. We don't have it.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
You know. What's part of it for me is that
they played so long ago those last Thursday Dude, Like.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, that's tough, we can go. It was fun.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
That's a good good fun, last good season opener.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yeah, just no, not your games on the whole weekend.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Always the Cowboys, a lot of great games.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yeah, the weekend.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Glad everybody's here. Let's do news of the week, Eddie,
what's your news of the week.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
The Niners are in trouble and I love it. I'm
just not a Niners fan, But I mean, never want
to cheer for injuries. But dude, they have Rock perties
You don't want to cheer for injuries. You can't say
that with that tone and expect that we believe you.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Like a disclaimer.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yeah, I mean burst off McCaffrey. Who knows a right like, oh.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
He's not hurt. I understand there's no who knows on
him because he played an excellent game.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
I know, but there's still question marks of like how
healthy is he?
Speaker 1 (03:20):
I feel like that's unfair because nothing about him involves
a question mark when there are people on that team that.
Speaker 6 (03:25):
Are out for weeks.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Yeah, I know, Rock Purties out for weeks, Kittle's out
for weeks. They're playing the Saints. I mean, the Saints
could beat the Niners this week, which would be crazy.
I don't think the Saints could beat us, dude. I'm honestly,
after seeing the Saints, I don't think the Saints are
that bad startup season before I saw anything looking at
them on paper, oh my gosh, this is the worst
team ever. But they're not too bad.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
And I think that I don't know that. Yeah, you
all know the Cardinals are right, the Cardinals beat them,
and the Cardinals aren't that great.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
We will see, we will see. And I think that
the Niners, oh my gosh, without Rock pretty I mean,
I don't even know who the backup the vision. Why
are you happy about them sucking? Just as a Cowboys fan, dude,
you just hate the Niners.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
I think it's a good thing that Dave Ball's not
pulling Russ, Like, let him go out suck again against
the Cowboys and then get pulled and you get Jackson
Darts comes in. I think it's a good weekend for you.
Like care about the Giants, care about the Commanders.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
The Niners are always a problem for the Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Oh not since the nineties, dude. I think you're still
in that playing them in the NFC Championship. I am
back in the nineties.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
Always you mean they always beat you?
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah, always when we get to the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Well that's everybody. Yeah, the Niners are heard.
Speaker 6 (04:39):
That sucks.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
News of the week. I'll go next, Thank you. Nice.
The Dolphins are interesting because they suck, and they might
really suck, and if they really suck, they're gonna firing
their coach. But they've started a gofund me already to fire.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
That's never good.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yeah. So going into the home opener against the Patriots,
they had started this GoFundMe just in case they want
McDaniel fired. Mike McDaniel their coach. The goal of the
fundraising campaign was to get enough cash to fly a
fire Mike McDaniel banner. The goal hit nine hundred bucks.
It's at sixteen hundred now, but now they have bigger plans.
(05:17):
If they lose again, they want to raise more money
just to go ahead and buy him out. It was
like the woman from Alabama wanted to buy.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Out Yeah, if she won the lottery quickly.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
What's that McDaniel, Oh yeah, Well, I mean any.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Anything that people love you for, people are then gonna
hate you for if you start losing, Like all the
little interesting quirkiness about him that is so celebrated while
they're winning, but the minute he loses, that's why they're
losing because of this quirkiness, because that's it. It's any
interesting element of any person that does anything successful. That
element is often credited and why we love them while
they're winning, but it's also the reason that we go, oh,
(05:52):
what a loser. I'll give you an example, Sam pitmana
Arkansas when he's winning, when he had decent years, they're like, man,
he's like in every man. He really to the people,
and that's why they play for him. Now that we
kind of are medium to stink, they're like, you know
why they don't win because he's in every Man. Yeah,
they just use it against you the same way they
built you up by it.
Speaker 7 (06:09):
Belichick was like that even last couple of years. It
was like, well, Belichick's times there past him and the
way that he.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Doesn't they still may be that.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
By the way, I know that's true.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
We still might be in that at Belichick in past area. Kevin,
do you everything?
Speaker 7 (06:21):
Yeah, mine is tennessee the balls, QB, Joey Aguilar. This
week big game, and it can be even bigger because
Nico has played.
Speaker 5 (06:29):
So bad in the first couple of games for UCLA.
Speaker 7 (06:31):
So if he goes out and beats Georgia, it's like
a highly anticipated game and a lot of people like him.
Brandon talks about it, and it's just like, if he
goes out and does this and beats Georgia, then you
can put Nico in the past and really put it
all a bit.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
That'd be an interesting game, especially because they're playing at Tennessee.
Knoxville is such a hard place to do anything if
you're not a member of the home squad. Yes, it's
so loud, it's so dynamic. They don't stop playing Rocky
Top the whole time. Like, I don't like Tennessee, but
I respect him. I don't. I dislike Texas and I
don't respect them. I just want to put that in.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
That's clear.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
It has nothing to do with anything. I just want
to say that as well.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Are you going, Kevin?
Speaker 5 (07:08):
No? No, I got a couple kids that I want
to want me to go.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
Oh, I didn't know I was a big fan.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
I didn't know You're going to make me watching from TV?
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, from home Arkansas? Was going to Tennessee this year?
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Do you go into that?
Speaker 1 (07:19):
I would like to, but i'd also like to go
to Old Miss this weekend, but I still haven't committed
to that yet.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Yeah, how many games could you go to? Like, just
I don't understand it, respectfully, respectfully, we have a wife,
you're married, respectfully, Like, how many games this season could you?
Speaker 6 (07:33):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Does I want? Probably?
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Oh you're saying like so not true?
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Just like you know, you know how you get a
sense of like when the wife will say yes, what's
your number of like, oh, I can probably go to
three games this season.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
I could go to Old Miss this weekend. I already
told her, Hey, I may go to Old Miss, and
she's like, cool, does she go? She doesn't want to go. Yeah,
but she shouldn't care, like she didn't care about that. Yeah,
can't go to Memphis because we'll be in Vegas for iHeart.
We will go over for the Arkansas Notre Dame game
after that is at Tennessee. It could do that. Texas
A and M is there.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Notre Dame.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
I mean, I could probably go to like five five
that's good.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Well, if they're in Fayetteville, her sister lives there.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
A good point yep, so she can always make it
a visit to go see her sister.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Yeah, and our brother in law, coach is there. Perfect,
So all that works, which is why when DJ was well,
I never said that on this show. He got offered
a job. I'm not going to say what the job was.
And I was very positive about that job. Also, I
didn't want him to take it, so I was positive
about not leaving as well, and so I was glad
he didn't leave because it gives us a reason to
(08:43):
be there more than just me going for games. That's
a But it was tough because he got offered a
big job. And he called me, said, have been offered
this job. My brother in law coaches. He's the head
assistant Arkansas or he's the associate head coach at Arkansas
and softball. He's like, what do you think? And I
was like, pretty legit. I was like, tons of resources,
(09:09):
great city, I said, But you know I'm biased because
nobody loves Arkansas more than me. I said, but you
really have to consider this and how much money? More
and a lot more money. But he turned it down, and.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
I was so happy, just because I want to selfishly, Yeah, dude,
that's a big I mean, I didn't think about that.
It's funny. Those are the kinds of things where like
I would see it later and be like, oh, I'm
so glad that they live there, and that means i
can go to so many games and my wife can
see her sister. But not you. You were four. You
were thinking ahead of this, like if he leaves, this
is gonna be true. Yeah, smart, so smart.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
I'm trying to think where my wife's family is all
spread out. I'm like, where can I go next?
Speaker 1 (09:46):
I saw an ad on TikTok and I guess it
wasn't so much an ad, but it was a video
the viral of the ad of the Apple AirPods three.
When they come out they'll be able to translate languages.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
Yeah, legit, oh yeah on the fly.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Yeah. So when I watched the lady do it, because
it was like the presentation on the stage, and she's like,
the Apple AirPods Pro three will feature translating AirPods. And
so the person hasn't been and they go into a
store and they only speak Spanish in the store, and
so she's in and she's like, I would like these flowers.
And the woman's like, would you say? Are you trying
(10:21):
to say something like yeah, we have a lot of
flowers for self.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
See the themos muntos fl.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
And she's like, I don't know that is So she
has a button on her AirPod and then it goes.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
English, Oh, yes, I have lots of flowers here to
sell to you read.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
So she hears that that's how it sounds. She hears that,
and then the question is, well, how do you talk
back to them. And so what you do is you
talk back in English, but you hold your phone out
and it writes it on the phone wow in Spanish.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Legit, man, how crazy is that?
Speaker 1 (10:53):
We just have a Korean housekeeper and that was a
deal where we can like it was hard, so she
would like talk into her phone and it would spit
it out in English, and then sometimes it wouldn't work.
And there's a really funny thing on TikTok to where
this person he goes and he acts like he doesn't
know English, and he goes up to people just walking
in a park and he'll say things like I don't
(11:14):
know what language it is, and it goes, can you
lead me to the bathroom? And the person goes, yes,
it's around the corner, take a left, and so it
records it in and then he hits translate back to
him and he's like, and it's like something super racist that.
Oh no, it's like he's pranking them.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
That's pretty fat.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
But I thought the airpod's pro three. That's pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (11:39):
That's git. Yeah, he can travel everywhere.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
One of the more intriguing things to come out of
Tuesday's big Apple event or about the Airpod's Pro three,
a new live translation feature that will be part of
the Io six twenty six updates. A Star Truk like
universal translation feature that will record a user's speech and
automatically translate it onto the screen of their iPhones to
enable conversations but when people who speak different languages. In addition,
the update will come with changes that will expand battery
(12:04):
life from six hours to eight. That is from Yahoo Finance.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
You think you can get around in Mexico like knowing
what you know the.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Spanish that you know, not just based off the Spanish.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
I know, like if they didn't know any English.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
That's my thing. I've never been anywhere, and I've been
to a decent amount of places now they always know English. No,
like any country I've been to, even Japan. There have
been parts of Japan where they didn't quite know all
of it, but they still understood some of it. Yeah,
So I've never felt I'm isolated and alone because nobody
knows my language. I've been to places where I feel
very far away from home, but everybody's always known English.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
But don't you do a thing where like I do?
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Louder you're louder?
Speaker 4 (12:43):
No, No, no, you're like in another country, so you
kind of speak English to them, but kind of in
their accent.
Speaker 7 (12:48):
Well that too, yeah, yeah, my wife's yeah, like their
accent or something.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, this hapsby speaks some perfect yeaheah, yeah, yeah that's true.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
That's a good one. Like Chinese restaurants. This happens a
lot or what happened, Well, I say it in English,
but then because they're they're speaking to me in English,
but it's a difficult English, and I can tell they're
really struggling. So I'm trying to say it back in
English and their accent. So we meet in the middle.
It's kind of a middle ground.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Or it's almost like you speak English like a like
a third grader. Yes, I would love a cup.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Of the accent and you got it.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
I'm not doing it, but yeah I do that.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
And I don't even need to do that. Sometimes, like
you can't do that. I'm like, what, you can't talk
back to them with a Chinese accent with your English.
Speaker 7 (13:32):
It's not like talking to somebody like with the Southern accent,
like I don't have one, but like I don't know,
sometimes you get.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Not the same because I know what you're saying. If
we're speaking English and it's regional dialect, there's no you
may not understand me. So I don't need to do
what you're doing in order for you to feel it.
If it's a whole different language where the words are
just they, then I do need to add my their
accent to their to the English.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
And I feel like we do that with you sometimes though.
You know, if you're like, oh, the address is forty
seven nine eight and you're like forty seven nine am,
I'm not true that way you understand this?
Speaker 1 (14:06):
But like in Germany, we were in Germany and I
was I was like, hey, I like could get as
to this fair? This like street fair wanted to smoothie
and a hot dog and I was like, one, I
point out a hot dog and strawberry smoothie. You don't
want the strawberry smoothly in the hot dog? Yes to
rawberry smoothly on the hot dog.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
And what do you think they're thinking?
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Hopefully they think, wow, we appreciate English just like I do.
Or they think this is them thinking it my English
is great because the English guy's talking back to me
exactly how I said it. Do you ever think about that?
Maybe I'm building them up.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
Yeah maybe maybe yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
I said, that's what's up a bunch of good games.
Here's the winner.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
You want the winner, let's go hold on, let me
pull it on.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
We got I'm going to give you the winner. Now,
I cannot guarantee anything because they don't guarantee anything. But
I'm gonna give you the winner and make sure the
line's still the same. Up your draftking seven, yep, I
gotta go five. You do the face and then it
sends you the text yep.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Oh really, I just do face.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
It doesn't give you a text verification.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
It doesn't sometimes when like I wear sunglasses and not
reading the face, I gotta do the whole thing. But
do you ever smile for your face or do you
just put in front of your face?
Speaker 1 (15:21):
I just put it. I don't smile.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
I don't know. It's this thing where like it's like,
let me read in face, I d and I give
it a nice little smile.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
I got a friend in town by the way, ye
shay to sign up. You see Bobby sports.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Oh nice sEH. Yes, I'm gonna bet five hundred bucks. Whoa,
you don't have to I was telling you guys what
I'm doing so you know, I'm not just talking it,
I'm living it. NFL no College Oregon minus twenty seven
and a half. Right now, let's go at Northwestern in Chicago.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
Let's go Ducks.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
They're in Chicago, there.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Are Northwestern is the home team. So I'm assuming unless
it's a neutral site game. I don't know why that
was outful. That's it. So take a second.
Speaker 7 (16:02):
Nat it twenty seven and a half.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Yep, see it?
Speaker 4 (16:06):
What time is that game?
Speaker 5 (16:07):
Eleven? That's the only thing that worries me a little bit.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Pacific time, Yeah, Pacific to Central at least it's not
Pacific to Eastern at least. Yeah, organically so good.
Speaker 5 (16:20):
At least it's not a midnight game either. Yeah, Oregons,
you mean eleven o'clock?
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Eleven o'clock?
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Yeah, Michigan State. What the heck is that crazy?
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Have you heard about this?
Speaker 3 (16:29):
No?
Speaker 1 (16:29):
Tell me, what are you telling about it?
Speaker 5 (16:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (16:31):
So Michigan State and USC play next week, Week four,
I believe, and because of TV stuff and they got
a rerange of games and start times, kickoff times, Michigan
State's playing in USC in La at eleven pm Eastern.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Oh my goodness, yeah, eight.
Speaker 5 (16:46):
Pm local time.
Speaker 7 (16:47):
But Michigan coming from Michigan State, that's it'll be eleven
pm Eastern.
Speaker 5 (16:52):
That's insane.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
It's crazy, man, I mean that won't end till midnight
for us? What yeah, oh later, one right, one start?
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
But imagine if you if you're Michigan State.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
Yeah, like brutal.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
How do you adjust to that as a player?
Speaker 1 (17:05):
You don't? You just try to batten down the hatches
for one game.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
We're gonna tell you what though, dude, I feel like
a loser when I'm up at like midnight watching those
late games.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Well it's because you bet on them, yes, and it's
not because you're just a fan of the sport. I
get it, and yes you should. You should because like.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
I've been at it since like eleven am now sometimes
even ten nine thirty watching game day and then here
I am like a midnight like barely awake, come on,
one more touchdown.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
The problem is you're betting like one dollar to stay awake.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Not not true.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
And I would say that you're staying awake and you're
exhausting yourself, that your time is worth more than one
dollar or two dollars.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
It's not one dollar. If I'm watching the nightcap, Dude,
I'm catching up. I'm trying to like, Okay, you're chasing
a dollar.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Chase, okay, same thing, safe thing.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
If it were like a substantial bet, even a twenty
dollars bet, I'd be like Eddie good. But you're like
staying up for five bucks.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Last last weekend, I was doing twenties you were. I
was chasing, dude, and I him. Yeah, I hit him.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Yeah, Chase, thank you. I chased hard because I told
you I dropped all that money. I want all the money.
I dropped it all back and luckily I hit pretty
good at the end there to get us to get
me back to like eighty percent of where I was
at my height. Yeah, chase. Guys out there, don't chase.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Don't chase take it from us.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Don't chase.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Just take your loss. Man, It's okay.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yes, National Video Game Day. Did you guys play video
games as kids?
Speaker 6 (18:26):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Yeah, course, Tech Mobile?
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, top three video games of all time according to
each of you. And I'll go first. I'm the only
one that still plays, I think correct.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
My kids play. I'll jump on once and a want
to play them.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
But Eddie used to play. Yeah, yeah, you don't play. Well,
you know why, because this count got hacked and he
just couldn't log back in.
Speaker 8 (18:44):
Still.
Speaker 5 (18:44):
That was like three years ago, wasn't it.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Yeah, I had, and they took my credit card and everything,
and then I tried to I have a new account.
But it's just you all don't even know the name
of it. Like I don't even use it, Okay, so.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Why we know the name of it?
Speaker 6 (18:55):
Correct?
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Top three video games ever, Number one Madden all four
them all time, forever, I mean, according to me, according
to me, the game I've played the most straight up Madden. Ye,
that's number one, number two all time. Mario Kart, oh man,
(19:16):
all right, in the different iterations, Mario Kart is awesome.
Especially you got a bunch of friends. You don't even
need to be an avid video game player or as
we like to call them in the biz, a gamer
to enjoy Mario Kart. You can play it. You can
get pretty good at it pretty quick, and it's like
a family thing. Anybody. We used to play if it's
if it's not a tour bus in college, Like that's
(19:37):
where double O seven comes in. And I'm not gonna
put that at three. We played that so.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
Much gold on the music.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
That High School for you, college high School for me,
relax or one year apart.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
I thought Golden Eye was crazy because multiple people could
play it at the same time. Yeah, that was because
it's the screen would be split and to have for
quads like this is crazy. So I'm gonna go Madden one.
I'm going Mario Kart two and the other game that
I've probably and I don't want to just fall to
sports games because it's such a chump thing to do.
I've probably played more sports games than anything else. But
(20:15):
at number three, I think I'm gonna put Sonic the
Hedgehog because my cousin had Gotta Sega and I was like,
you gotta Contra. Scotty had a Nintendo Contrast.
Speaker 5 (20:26):
Bro, I'm gonna go cont I don't even know what
country is.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
So it's a gun game. Before gun games.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
It was, it was like, yeah, a gun swinging jungle.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
Oh okay, yeah, now that I see that, Yeah, no, no.
Speaker 1 (20:41):
I'm gonna go Contra three.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
This is hard.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Yeah, So I'm going it's like Rambo. Yeah, he's kind
of like Rambo. I'm going Madden, Mario Kart. Oh No,
Mike Dyson's punch out.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
Yes see there's a lot, dude.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Anybody else have Tyson's punch out? I have it. I'm
gonna take I'm not I'm not gonna put it on
the ause. I just told you guys, So I'm gonna
go Contra Maden Mario Kart Contra.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
Eddie number one is super Mario Brothers. That's the og.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Dude, it was the free one. It doesn't matter he
played it the most because it was forced on you.
I enjoyed it once you did you enjoy it?
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Though? Yeah? Once you found that hack you know where
you got the turtle shell and you jump up it down?
Did it? Do it?
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Doom?
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Do you get one ups and you have unlimited life.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
I don't want to be a Mario hater because I
like Mario.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
And then the warp zones goodness going down the pipe
into the water world, Dude.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
That's like taking water as your favorite drink. But it's
the OG, I know, but it's like the basic. Yeah,
I'm a hater. That's kind of how I sorry. I apologize.
I want to back off. Mario is in yours. It's
in yours. I don't like who I am right now,
go ahead.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
When I started thinking of the list. I started thinking
of the games that I played the most, and Super
Mario Brothers for sure. There number two. I'm gonna go
with Mike Tyson's punch out. Good one, dude, it just
changed everything.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
So number one, Glass Joe.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
Go ahead, I got you, I got I got you.
I think.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Let me see how many I can name, Don Flamenco,
Bald Bull, Mike Tyson.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
Yeah, good one.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
The last one mm hmm, the last Joe, I say him, Yeah,
he's the first one. Have I mentioned Mike Tyson?
Speaker 4 (22:25):
No one else?
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Hold on? He started? Can you think of them?
Speaker 5 (22:35):
I don't know any of these people.
Speaker 4 (22:38):
Oh my goodness, can you think of one?
Speaker 6 (22:40):
So good one?
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Do you know the order?
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (22:47):
Okay? Who's first?
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Okay, Glass Joe? And then second was the German guy
von Keiser.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
Would have never got to von Keiser?
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Good mon Kaiser. And I believe three was Piston Honda.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Piston freaking wow.
Speaker 5 (23:02):
Who was the guy with the tiger?
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Oh that was the guy with the jewel that yeah,
uh feels racist. I don't remember. He would he was
from Bangladesh. He would do the circle.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
Yes, oh yeah, I'll pull up the whole west. Who
was the hippo.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
That's that's king hip hippo. When his pants fell in
the belly, in the belly, and then once once he
opened his belly up, his head was opened.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
I got great tiger, great tiger.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
That's the one.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yeah. He was this guy with tiger pants. Yes, and
he had yeah yeah, looking back, hey, looking back, it
was the best idea for all these uh, super macho man.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
Yeah, that was late. That was I think he was
the one before, right before Mike Tyson.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
He had to beat.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
And then mister Sandman is in there.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Do you put it to sleep?
Speaker 4 (23:49):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Maybe not.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
I think mister sand one of them.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Am I thinking of mister Sandman? Yes? Bear Hugger, Oh,
I don't remember Bear Hugger. Maybe this is a different version.
Piston Honda, Piston Honda, Piston Honda.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Else are we missing?
Speaker 1 (24:08):
I think I have like different versions of Dragon Chan.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
No.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
When you're your character's name was Mac, right.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Little Max, little Mack?
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yeah, okay, here we go, Glass Joe, come on, dude,
von Kaser whoever that was von What a great poll?
Speaker 6 (24:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Piston Honda at three? Yeah, Don Flamenco at four.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
Punched the rose out of his mouth.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
He's like danced. He would King Hippo, Great Tiger, Bald Bull, Soda, Popinski,
Mister Sandman, Super Macho Man, and Mike Tyson. That's it, Dang,
that's a good one.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Good times man.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
What else you got?
Speaker 8 (24:42):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (24:42):
And then my last one is going to be tech Mobile,
nice tech Mobile, the original Techmobile where if you got one,
if you got the Raiders with Bo Jackson and Marcus Allamin,
if you weren't losing, dude, what I would do was awesome.
Is once you break, you know, the tackle or whatever,
then the whole defense starts chasing you. And you could
(25:02):
go down the sideline right before the one yard line,
come back around down the other sideline and you can
tab him chase you over and over and over, and
it's never gets.
Speaker 7 (25:12):
Because then they like form up into a ball basically
and chase your Yes, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
And I was never good at that. You weren't.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
It was the forty nine Ers with Joe Montana Jerry Rice,
like that was just guaranteed, and then the Raiders with
Bo Jackson and the.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Chiefs of Christianakoay, that's true, dude, he would just blow
up line.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
I met him one time.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
You did.
Speaker 7 (25:31):
Yeah, he came and spoke at a like a team
dinner that we had in high school before our first
playoff game.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
I believe give us like a HiPE speech.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
Did he go to your school? No?
Speaker 5 (25:41):
I don't know how they got it. I can't remember,
but it was pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Barry Sanders is also pretty good, but he was no
Christian Aquoy r Abo Jackson, those were two.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
They were awesome.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
You guys get a bet on the Cowboys Patriots against
each other.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
I don't know. Kevin wants to do this bet, and
I'm like, dude, we're already doing some big, big stuff
over here.
Speaker 5 (25:56):
Yeah, but this is like our thing, like against each other.
Speaker 7 (26:00):
You know, you're like a team over here and all
the other stuff and the fantasy is individual. But me
and you, I mean, you talk so much how you're
hyped out your Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
Do you want to do one hundred dollars on what you.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Guys are going to lose too much money? I alread
feel guilty that you're doing my league. That's now our league.
Did you guys see where we are right now?
Speaker 3 (26:16):
No?
Speaker 5 (26:16):
I haven't checked in the cloud.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
You guys, do we want to know?
Speaker 7 (26:20):
I tried to put it out of my mind because
it's going to consume me so much this weekend can pull.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Up our four games.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Kevin is doing. Kevin's like counting how much we owe
every week, and I'm like, don't do that.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Oh yeah, you're going to drive yourself crazy because if
you start doing that, if we get ahead, you're also
going to drive yourself crazy.
Speaker 5 (26:35):
Now I'm going to go to Vegas with no win
money I don't even have yet.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Just don't do something you'll regret.
Speaker 6 (26:40):
Dude.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Hey, thanks mister, stay up till two in the morning.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Okay you guys ready. Yeah, in our Skins League right now,
we are minus six hundred, could have been worse?
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Are we?
Speaker 9 (26:56):
No?
Speaker 5 (26:57):
Are we the worst?
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Are we?
Speaker 5 (26:58):
Do we owe the most? Right now? There is we tired?
Speaker 1 (27:01):
There's a minus six hundred. There's two people that are
even but they got four skins. There's somebody that is
twelve hundred up.
Speaker 6 (27:09):
So we are the worst.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Yeah, we're the worst. They're up twelve hundred bucks.
Speaker 5 (27:12):
Oh yeah, I just heard four skins.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
I was like, what, Yeah, do you have our games? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (27:17):
Who are teams are playing?
Speaker 6 (27:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Yeah chiefs. Oh that's gonna be a tough one. Chiefs
and Eagles Eagles. We need the Chiefs twin that one.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
Go ahead, Yeah, Chiefs, Eagles, Patriots, Dolphins.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Okay, let's go like that. I like that one.
Speaker 5 (27:27):
Yeah, Jaguars at the Bengals.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Love that.
Speaker 7 (27:31):
I should have said Bengals host the Jackar So we
need that one. And then who oh bucks? Were they
Buccaneers Monday night? At Houston?
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Monday night too?
Speaker 4 (27:42):
Okay at Houston? Are there two games Monday night?
Speaker 5 (27:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (27:47):
You see that. One of them is like really late.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
They're like six thirty one starts at like eight or something, right.
Speaker 5 (27:53):
Yeah, one that six and nine are to nine?
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Dude?
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Nine on Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Yeah. YouTube's step NFL broadcast pulled in seventeen million viewers.
People were giving the YouTube badcast a hard time. I
thought it was pretty good. I didn't think it was
pretty good. I mean there were things that obviously they
didn't have a rhythm because they'd never done it before.
But I thought it was pretty good.
Speaker 6 (28:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
Like what the announcers is all?
Speaker 1 (28:12):
They were like the YouTube roll guess sucks.
Speaker 9 (28:14):
No.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
I liked it.
Speaker 7 (28:15):
I mean it's not the best just because I mean
you're in a totally different country. And not only that,
you don't have the infrastructure that you do everywhere else.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
And the crew is not the same. It's the NFL
network guys, which are rich In Kurrent Warner. They're not
calling games every week. They're calling mostly just the games
when they're overseas.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Yeah, so that was the Brazil game. Yeah, great game.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
I think Rich Eisen did great.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Yeah, Rich we I think about that, buddy. He's a
big listener, listens all the time. He's listening live even
though we're not live.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
So cool.
Speaker 1 (28:43):

Speaker 1 (30:22):
On with Brandon Marcello. First question, Brandon Marcello, is USF
any good?
Speaker 9 (30:29):
I think they are. You know, they've got a quarterback
in Byron Brown who's legit. Two years ago, you really
came onto the scene as a guy that was even
getting some notice by like NFL scouts.
Speaker 6 (30:42):
Then last year he got injured.
Speaker 9 (30:43):
He broke his leg, missed eight games, so we didn't
get to quite see him back that back up. But
this year he's healthy and he's a runner, he's a thrower.
He's a big reason why they beat Boise State the
way they did. He's the reason why they beat Florida
in the Swamp with that last drive. But also man
USF's defense has been phenomenal. I mean, they held Boise
(31:06):
State to seven points, they held Florida to.
Speaker 6 (31:10):
Only sixteen in the swamp. Will they beat Miami? Probably not.
Speaker 9 (31:16):
I think Miami's really really good, better than those two teams.
But USF's legitimately probably maybe the best group of six
team out there, and if that ends up being the case,
they may very well end up making the playoff this year.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
I read your article last week. I think it was
Saturday night when it came out that was about USF
and kind of that story, and I start to think,
is their head coach? Is he the new Darling higher
if he wins a couple more big games?
Speaker 9 (31:40):
Yeah, probably, so, you know, when UCF not USF UCF.
And then also Tennessee was getting hot under Josh Heipel.
One of the big reasons why it was Alice Golish.
He was his offensive coordinator who was calling plays. He
was previously at Tennessee before USF hired him. Said that
(32:00):
it may be difficult to pull Alex Golosh away from
USF for a power for gig And the reason why
I say that is because us sef's got a lot
of money. They've been investing a lot of money. They're
building a three hundred and fifty million dollar football stadium
right now on campus. They've invested a lot in the program,
building facilities, indoor practice facility, and they're trying to become
(32:23):
that next you know, team that rises from not necessarily ABYSS,
but ends up being part of Tier one. And by
Tier one, I mean we're getting into an era now
because of revenue sharing and NIL where a lot of
people think there's another great shift coming in the next
five to ten years, where, you know, like we did
in nineteen seventy eight when we decided to go from
(32:46):
you know, like a Division one type thing to where
we had FBS and FCS teams, it's possible. Well, some
people seem to think that we're going to go into
a situation where it's going to be power conferences are
pretty much just playing each other, and then the rest
of football is in a second tier, and then the
third tier is FCS, and USF wants to be part
of that that first tier, and they're making those moves
(33:09):
to do so. Financially, I think it might end up
being very difficult for Alex Skohlers to sit there and go, say,
like a job, a mid tier job in the SEC
were to open up. I think it probably pretty difficult
to pull him away from USF for a job like that.
Speaker 6 (33:24):
It had to be a big gig.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Well, not to spend all of our time in Florida.
But one other Florida thing I wanted to talk about
was Billy Napier Toughier last year. Then it got pretty
good at the end, and so they give him a
new contract, then he loses right away, So again, what
is that program feeling right now?
Speaker 9 (33:43):
They feel like they're lost in the in the in
the swamp. They can't get out of the muck. It's
crazy to think that that program has not been two
and zero to start a season since twenty twenty one.
And that was also Dan mullens last year, the year
they fired him. So it's there. There's no reason why
Florida should be struggling.
Speaker 6 (34:02):
The way they have been.
Speaker 9 (34:04):
You know, Billy Napier's career record is right at around
five hundred at Florida.
Speaker 6 (34:09):
That just doesn't cut it there.
Speaker 9 (34:12):
He's gonna have to do something pretty miraculous, I think,
to keep his job this year. But the thing is there,
at a job like that, you have opportunities to do. So,
you know, their next four opponents are all ranked I
think their next three opponents are all ranked. Number seven
are better in the ap pole. So you look at
it and go, well, he's screwed. But I thought the
(34:33):
same thing late last season. Mid last season, you know,
people down there were like, yeah, he's toast, so he's
talking to people.
Speaker 6 (34:39):
We even wrote an article about it. But then they
reeled off all.
Speaker 9 (34:41):
These wins against these ranked opponents, but you know he's
in a situation where he's got the talent to win.
It's just it's the same stuff popping up over and
over again. It's penalties. I mean, you had a player
spit in the face of a USF player that kept
helped keep a drive alive.
Speaker 6 (35:00):
You've got really bad play calls.
Speaker 9 (35:02):
They get the ball back with under three minutes remaining,
trying to ice the game with the lead, and they
end up throwing the ball and only burning like fifteen
seconds off the clock. It's just bad decision, bad decision,
and then undisciplined play. And that's been the common course
for them for the last three years, and Billy Napier
has had every opportunity to correct that and change that,
(35:26):
and it hasn't changed.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
You think Arkansas can beat All Miss?
Speaker 9 (35:29):
Yes, I picked Ole Miss, but it was very difficult.
It's one of those games where you look me out
up and down the list, you always go there's going
to be you always know there's gonna be like two
or three upsets every week, whether it's a nationally ranked
team or not, but just an upset, and that was
one of the prime ones I had circled. But then
when I looked at just kind of the matchups and everything,
(35:51):
and also with it being on the road for Arkansas,
I couldn't quite make that decision and pick pick the Hogs.
I also think that, you know, I completely forgot that
Ole Miss just beat the crud out of them last year,
scoring sixty three points.
Speaker 6 (36:09):
Was it?
Speaker 1 (36:09):
I think it was at Yeah, it's terribly it was
an elements its awful. Yeah, it was embarrassing.
Speaker 6 (36:13):
They never scored that many points.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
It was like they just kept scoring too. It was like,
please put in worse players. It was one of those
games too where I think it was near the end dishes.
I feel like I'm playing a different time this year
than last year, and like they were trying to make
their case with us, like mid to late season.
Speaker 6 (36:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (36:27):
That, and you know, I do think that there's there's
a little bit of a rivalry there from the standpoint
if you remember two years ago, the Hogs beat the
crud out of them, and then last year Old Miss
beats the crud out of Arkansas. So I think that
there's some some personal beef there in a lot of
ways among the coaches. And I'm fascinated to see what happens.
(36:48):
But I just couldn't quite pick the Hogs. Taylor Green's
gonna have to play a clean game for them to win.
Speaker 6 (36:56):
Are you going to go.
Speaker 9 (36:58):
No, I'm a I'm doing doing a TV sideline this
week for SMU Missouri State for CBS Sports Network, so
I can't go.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
Oh, that'd be cool.
Speaker 9 (37:07):
Yeah, it should be fun. It's supposed to be like
ninety six degrees on the sideline. I got to wear
a sports coat, so I want to be like Bruce
Pearl out there sweating through sports coat problem.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
Were you in Oklahoma, Olkahoma, Michigan last week?
Speaker 6 (37:21):
Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:23):
What'd you think? What did you think about Matier?
Speaker 6 (37:26):
I thought he looked great.
Speaker 9 (37:28):
He took the game over at times when he had
to ran the ball nineteen times, they weren't expecting that,
but he had to do it to kind of clinch
that win. I never felt like Oklahoma was in threat
of losing that game against Michigan. And oh, he's only
going to get better this year. Man Matier and that offense.
I think he's one of those type of quarterbacks that's
(37:49):
going to make everybody.
Speaker 6 (37:49):
Around him better week to week.
Speaker 9 (37:51):
But also that's going to transcend, transcend the offense, and
I think bleed over to the defense, which I think
is already good. I think ou could be an SEE
Championship contender by the end of the year.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
Early due Clemson did not look great against Troy. They
ended up winning it, and they're going to Georgia Tech
this week. They're only a four point favorite. Like, what
is this Clemson team?
Speaker 6 (38:09):
Even I can't make sense of it?
Speaker 9 (38:12):
Man, Like it's the same issues offensively we saw that
were issues two years ago popping back up. They can't
really run the ball effectively. Kate Klubnick's making mistakes that
are almost unforced errors at times. I thought they got
over that last year and apparently not now. It might
just be one game hiccup against Troy, but I don't
(38:32):
think so, because LSU game they couldn't run the ball
and they made some dumb mistakes.
Speaker 6 (38:40):
And then Troy.
Speaker 9 (38:41):
You saw what happened there with them getting down big
early and having to rally late, and they still didn't
play clean football. This was also one of those games, man,
like the OLM miss Arkansas one where I had circled
as a potential upset and I couldn't quite make that
decision either. But that's a game I think very much.
Clemson's on upset alert.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
I got a couple of the games. Before I get
to the games. I did see a clip. It was
at the press conference for I think Venables at OU,
and one of the reporters is like, hey, it's kind
of like a crappy bowl game, like the fans aren't
even filling up the stadium. Did you happen to see
that clip? But do you think that has any effect
on a Temple team who's in Philadelphia and they're being
told they're kind of a joke school. If you haven't
seen the clip, then it'll be lost on you. But yeah,
(39:23):
it was a hot mic and a reporter from OU
was like, yeah, it's kind of terrible love there.
Speaker 9 (39:27):
Oh no, oh, I did see on social media that
the Temple coach may be using that.
Speaker 6 (39:33):
Yeah, I'm sure motovation for his team.
Speaker 9 (39:35):
Yeah, good for him. I would too, I'll say a keeler.
He was a great hire for Temple. They're doing very
well early. I don't think, oh, he's going to lose
to him obviously, but they can make life tough for
them up there, and you don't need to be giving
any team like that, any type of motivation, extra motivation,
(39:56):
because then you get emotions involved and all of a sudden,
players are getting hurt.
Speaker 6 (40:00):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 9 (40:00):
You know they're going after guys low, So that's not
a good thing. That reporter better hope nothing bad happens
because he might be feeling the wrath of that coaching staff.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
All right, two more games. A and M's going to
Notre Dame. Notre Dame's full touchdown favorite is A and
M good.
Speaker 6 (40:17):
I don't know yet.
Speaker 9 (40:18):
Man. They've got great wide receivers. Casey Scacepcion who came
over from NC State could be a baller. But they're
spreading the ball around a lot, a lot here the
first two games. I think part of that, to me,
I'm just reading into it is because they're trying to
figure out who their top guys are and this could
(40:39):
end up being a potent, potent offense, and they're just
trying to figure things out early. The difference here in
this game, though, is I think Notre Dame's got the
better rushing attack if they decide to commit to it.
And by that I mean if he saw the season opener,
Notre Dame only ran the ball twenty eight times against Miami.
They should have ran at thirty five to forty time
(41:00):
because they were able to run the ball effectively. And
Notre Dame probably has the best running back in the
country in Jeremiah Love, and he only ran the ball
like ten times, a little over ten times. You need
be giving him the ball twenty five times a game,
in my opinion, whether it's through the air or carrying
the ball. I was also looking at an interesting stat
Notre Dame Jeremiah Love. If you remember in the college
(41:23):
football Playoff the very first game, he broke off a
ninety eight yard touchdown run. But since then he's averaging
like two point something yards per carrying. Something's happened.
Speaker 6 (41:37):
I don't know what.
Speaker 9 (41:38):
Maybe it's just the way they've gone about game planning
and they're not giving him the ball enough to get
him into a rhythm. But they need to figure it
out because it's a trend since that first round playoff
game that Notre Dame's got an amazing potential running game
and can run the ball. Is just it doesn't seem
to be clicking right now, and I think part of
that's just the play calling. Who'd you pick in that game,
(42:00):
pick Notre Dame because it's at home, and I think
A and M offensively is still trying to figure a
few things out.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
Last game, Georgia at Tennessee. Georgia is a four and
a half point favorite as of right now. Who did
you pick in that game? And then is Aguilar the
guy at Tennessee? Is he like the guy I picked
Georgia and a lot of this.
Speaker 9 (42:21):
I rarely pick a team based off of like one
or two injuries on the other team, but I kind
of went that way this time because Tennessee is not
going to have their two starting cornerbacks in this game,
and Georgia with Gunner Stockton. Gunner Stockton is underwhelmed a
quarterback this year. I was impressed with him so much
(42:41):
last year when I watched him the SEC Championship game
and then in person in the Sugar Bowl in the
College Football Playoffs, and he has not done too hot
here these first two games. But I think that we've
seen in the past with Josh Heipel's offenses, for whatever reason,
when they go against great defenses, which Georgia obviously has.
Speaker 6 (43:04):
Just go look at the stats.
Speaker 9 (43:05):
This year, they really kind of struggle and that happened
last year. I kind of wrestle with this, Bobby could
and I know this. I'm going back and forth here,
But the problem is is like Tennessee had a Nico
Iamliava problem last year. To be quite honest, at quarterback,
(43:26):
he was phenomenal against just really bad teams group of
five teams, FCS teams. Then once they got in the
SEC he looked completely different. Arkansas figured him out in
a lot of ways, even though oh you beat them,
Oh you figured him out, and Tennessee had to run
the ball to kind of put that game away. Georgia's
(43:47):
something that can go in there and slow down that offense.
But to your second part of your question, I'm a
big believer in Joey Aguilar based off what I've seen
off the tape right now, and we actually ran a
story at CBS Sports dot Com I think earlier this
week about how the staff there and his teammates there
(44:07):
trust him so much more than they did Nico one
because of just how he performs on the field, but
also what kind of person and the people he surrounds
himself with off the field. So this should be a
great game. I think it'll be a game that's in
the twenties. I don't trust Gunner Stockton at this point.
I trust Joey Aguilar, but I trust Kirby Smart's defense
(44:30):
more so.
Speaker 6 (44:31):
I'm going Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
Brandon Marcelo, Hey, have a good game this weekend. That'd

Looks great.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
Very happy to see that.
Speaker 6 (44:49):
It was glitching. It was glitching out the first two
weeks this season. I finally figured it out.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
Had you get a new light bright, new battery for
the light?
Speaker 4 (44:55):
Right?
Speaker 1 (44:56):
Yeah? I feel it. Brandon. Good to talk to you, buddy.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Games that are of interest to me. Alabama is hosting Wisconsin.
Alabama is a twenty point favorite. I'm just curious as
to what Alabama does the rest of the year, if
they go real fast and beat the crap out of people,
or if they do kind of suck, and if they
don't crush Wisconsin, it's going to be it's going to
start being really ugly there. I can only imagine they're
(46:52):
living in a town like Tuscaloosa and everybody already wants
you out. It's not like you're living in New York City.
Speaker 4 (46:56):
A year and a game in two games in How
small is Tuscaloose?
Speaker 1 (47:00):
Very small?
Speaker 4 (47:00):
You've been there, haven't you never been in Alabama to Auburn, Well,
that's in Alabama. I mean, I've never been at University
of Alabama.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
Got it, I never been. You never did a show
I've been. I've been in tess close to a few
times doing shows you never been to that always just
comedy without Eddie.
Speaker 4 (47:15):
Oh, we did do a long, long, long, long time ago.
We drove the sprinter van.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
I don't know what we drove places, and I just
know I've been there a few times. I've been a
couple of games. There are too miserable experiences.
Speaker 5 (47:25):
It's cool because it's Arkansas.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
Yeah, because we got beat Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7 (47:30):
I went for the game against Tennessee last year, two
years ago, winter blews. Tennessee lost. They're up at half
in them blew in second.
Speaker 1 (47:36):
You're not a real real fan though, Yeah, I was
hard man. You weren't a Celtics hat in the middle
of college football anywhere in a Patriots hat.
Speaker 4 (47:46):
I know.
Speaker 5 (47:47):
You know why I wore the Patriots one last week
and they lost. I got to switch it up.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Okay, Yeah, I'm curious to see what happens in the
South Florida Miami game, just because South Florida is the darling.
Through two games, they beat two top twenty five teams. Look,
I don't know the Boise States any good, but they
did beat them when they were ranked week one. Got
what's got them a little attention?
Speaker 5 (48:05):
Yeah, I don't know how to beat them good.
Speaker 1 (48:07):
I don't know how good Florida is, but we will
see now if they're good, going to play Miami.
Speaker 5 (48:11):
That's three tough games too.
Speaker 1 (48:13):
Yeah. Another game that's interesting is all Miss Arkansas, not
only for personal reasons, but I think there are some
people picking Arkansas, but Ole Miss is an eight and
a half point favorite. I probably won't bet that.
Speaker 4 (48:26):
I bet you, I bet you do. When it comes
down to it, I bet.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
You're probably right, but I don't feel confident in betting it.
And right now, I have no plans to bet it.
M I don't have any plans to go, but I
still might go now, but I'm not going to go
by myself.
Speaker 7 (48:41):
When do you like make that final decision to go
or not? Because where we work? What two days away?
Speaker 4 (48:45):
Yeah, it's getting closed tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (48:49):
That's awesome.
Speaker 7 (48:51):
Why it's because like cool, let's just I don't know,
you're just sitting around. Yeah, twelve hours before kickof, I'll go?
Speaker 5 (48:57):
Why not?
Speaker 4 (48:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (48:59):
I feel like if we where to go or like
usually when we do stuff, it's like you know, a week,
couple weeks in advance.
Speaker 4 (49:03):
Well, you don't have to worry about tickets or anything, right,
you got to not asked anybody. Yeah, but I mean
you got numbers, can people, then I can. I would
just show up. But you can always get tickets to anything.
Speaker 5 (49:12):
Scalp them.
Speaker 4 (49:12):
I did that to a Cowboys game. Didn't go in, dude.
There were no scalpers and my son was crying outside.
Speaker 1 (49:19):
And the sloppers want to get on an app and
just buy them on an app. You don't have to
just go to humans holding them up. Dude.
Speaker 4 (49:23):
At that point, when it was like right there, I
wouldn't find anything under four hundred.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
Well, worst case scenario, I would buy the tickets at
an elevated price, or I would wait till after like
the first quarter, when the bottom drops out, because they
know anything that wasn't sold, they're now going to sell
pretty easy. Unless we're down like thirty nothing in the
first quarter. They're not just go home, go back in
your car.
Speaker 5 (49:45):
Yes, did that. I had a Bowl game a couple
of years ago too.
Speaker 7 (49:48):
Gave you guy one hundred bucks cash lot four of
us in Rose Bull right right at the beginning.
Speaker 5 (49:51):
No, right here to the music City bol Rose Bull.
Speaker 1 (49:53):
He didn't get in.
Speaker 5 (49:54):
No, we never got in.
Speaker 4 (49:55):
You guys are in the Parking lot.
Speaker 5 (49:57):
That was Oh my god, that was a nightmare.
Speaker 1 (49:59):
The other game that I'm mentioned is South Carolina Vanderbilt,
and so South Carolina's right to eleven and I'll like
this is like Iron Man Captain America fight because I
like both the coaches. I like both the teams. Vanderbilt
two and oh playing South Carolina two and oh hey, listen,
Vanderbilt put it to Brginia Tech. That's a real team.
That's the same team South Carolina beats.
Speaker 7 (50:17):
Yeah week one, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
So South Carolina is a six and a half point
favorite right now, so that game is interesting to me.
It'd be really cool I Vanderbilt won that game.
Speaker 5 (50:28):
I'm rooting for man.
Speaker 1 (50:29):
I like South Carolina a lot, but it'd be really
cool Vanderbilt one because they're not supposed to win. Yeah,
if they were to win an SEC game this early, Oh,
that'd be crazy. It'd be so hard to turn that
program around because they have the restrictions are harder there.
You can't just take any player. They have to meet
a certain criteria academically just to be at Vanderbilt.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
Really they can't.
Speaker 1 (50:54):
I think they lull the people that are close to
that whatever that criteria said at but they can't just
take anybody and then they don't. That's why the school,
that's why they're not good, or that's why they traditionally
haven't been good.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
But there's also players too, right that like with the
COVID year, they like don't have to go to school
because say, like they've already graduated, but they still have
a year of eligibility. You can still go, you can
still play, right.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
I think you have to be enrolled though in some
sort I don't know.
Speaker 5 (51:17):
Yeah, yeah, there's no way forus.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
Maybe usually you get some hours.
Speaker 7 (51:22):
Usually you have to do I believe it is nine units,
so nine hours of class in order to be considered
a full time series in classes.
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Three classes, but you could also do them online. They
could be stupid classes. Yeah, yeah, uh, that's gonna be it.
I'm telling you. I feel pretty good about the organ game.
Speaker 5 (51:36):
Good dude, love it already, put money on it.
Speaker 1 (51:38):
I think it's me sense yeah if it doesn't want
to hold it against me, but I'm feeling pretty I
don't say anything that I don't bet myself. Let's go,
so we'll either be in pain together and then root
for our NFL teams. Mm hmm, I don't. I don't
have the NFL schedule.
Speaker 5 (51:55):
Sotriot, Chiefs, Bucks.
Speaker 4 (51:58):
And Bengalsles.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
Just in general, what's game of the week.
Speaker 5 (52:01):
Probably the Chiefs and the Eagles Sunday afternoon.
Speaker 4 (52:04):
Yeah, probably the game of the week.
Speaker 1 (52:06):
I'm surprised that's a Sunday afternoon game.
Speaker 7 (52:07):
Yeah, I'm sure that three A lot of money for that. Yeah,
three thirty Fox Prime.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
That Tom Brady doing the call.
Speaker 5 (52:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:16):
Nice, Thank you guys. We will see you early next week,
all right, by everybody.
Speaker 5 (52:22):
Thank you.
