A podcast call twenty five wists stocking fun and they
are room whist So yeah, it's too bad, but what
did you expect?
Speaker 2 (01:16):
It's a podcast call twenty five whistles.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Oh, Jason Campbell coming up, former Redskins quarterback, former Auburn quarterback.
We'll talk to him.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
We can do all our favorite teams real quick.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
Ed he's dying.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Oh sorry, god hours Kevin.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
I couldn't talk.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
He's going crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
And then I was turning blue.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
I got all my notes, I ready to go. I
got two pages of firing up. Okay, I'll go first.
Arkansas did not play. We do play Tennessee this week
in Knoxville.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Was that a relaxing weekend for you? Now?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I hate it?
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:52):
I hate it because what am I looking forward to?
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Then?
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Like other random teams? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:56):
That's the Cubs got crushed that Saturday game one o'clock.
I at least had that because Arkansas didn't play, but
the Coups played at one. They're playing Milwaukee, and Milwaukee
scored nine runs in the first two inning, so I
didn't have that. Yeah, it was over quick. So my
two teams one didn't play at one lost.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Uh so there you go. That's it. Now if we
go over to Eddie.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
With the Cowboys, hey, we back baby. I mean, honestly,
I think Dak's probably one or two in the MVP
race right now.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
I mean he is playing out of his mind, which
I love. I mean, we went into this game with
again ceedee, Lamp's still out, Turpin's out. We've got a
couple of people just out. But they played great. The
defense stepped it up. Whatever eber Flus is doing, he's
doing great things. They're shifting baby. I know they're playing
the Jets, but.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
That was going to say, you know what they're doing
playing the Jets yet.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
I know, but people always say like, oh, man, don't
you want like a more a close game. It's like, no, no,
exactly what happened Sunday is exactly what I like.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, good Cowboys win.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
It was fun.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Two, two and one now and one that's considered a
winning record though, Yeah, and one crazy Patriots is a
big win.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Last night, talking about being back boys, I stayed up
late last night. Well, we have a bunch of money
on it because we have in our league. But I
stayed up late watching that. That's a huge win for them, huge.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
I thought they were gonna throw it away for sure.
They tried a stupid penalties. I could not believe it.
I was like, get this guy off the field right now,
both of them, and then somehow they still pull it off.
Drake May is the next coming of Josh Allen, and
I love to watch it, love to see it on
his team.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
I can't say he's the next coming of Josh.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
I mean pretty dang close, doesn't he though? I mean
how much he runs and gets out.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
That he looked great though, he did look great, And
that's what I'm saying on Josh Allen's turf.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Come on, we're not going to argue he didn't look great.
But to say he's the next coming.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Of Josh Allen, you gotta start somewhere. Yes, by not
saying he's the next coming of Josh Allen and your
guy Stevenson fumbling again, don't.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
Oh, don't get me started. The penalties. Oh, it's too much. Luckily,
Buffalo might have been even worse as far as like penalties.
I think they had little more yards. They had another turnover,
a couple of bad turnovers for them, so that saved us.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Thank god.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Another one on my team's won. I forgot.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Oh the Panthers man, Oh yeah, I forget.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Oh, yes, that's not who you're talking about. Smith. They
came bad.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Now floora Gators to anybody who plays taxes, Yeah, it's terrible.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
That's terrible.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
Arches buns man.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
He's.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
He is pure bud cheeks. It looks like you're right.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
He didn't even throw the ball.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Yeah, and when he does, because I saw them post
a clip because I didn't. I was flipping back and forth.
I saw I missed the long touchdown he threw, but
I watched it like seven times. They're like arches back
even it's like an underarmed flame. Yeah, he's his mechanics
are weird.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
And then for that one player, backup quarterback came in
throws a dart. It's oh yeah, helmet came.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Off, so the backup guy has to come in freaking
like a sixteen yard out on the money on. It's
number one and number two preseason are now not ranked.
Crazy Penn State in Texas. That was an ugly Penn
State game. Yeah, like when we had had them in
my parlay and they didn't hit. But I liked watching
(05:09):
them lose more than I.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Want to hit the parlor.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah yeah, it's kind of fun because we hit the
other two. Yeah yeah, yeah, but yeah, that's crazy, but
that's probably. I mean, UCLA's got to be bottom five,
was in the Power four.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Yeah, they're bad, They're not good.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah I say that, like yeah Arkansas, No, Arkansas was
like seven or so. So yeah, preseason number one, Texas,
number two, Penn State, number four, Clemson are I combined
eight and seven. After Week six, I watched a lot
of the Clemson North Carolina game.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Oh, North Carolina.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
It was like watching two villains fight. You know, either
way you're gonna feel pretty good because one of them
just lost. Yeah, Belichick's now a villain to me?
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Is he?
Speaker 3 (05:50):
I was gonna say, is he a villain?
Speaker 7 (05:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:52):
I honestly forget he's even coaching.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
That's better that way if you're like a Patriot fan, Yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Don't even think about it. We got the North Carolina
quarterback on the Patriots now with Mike Ray, let's go now,
I'm ready. Yeah, it was bad.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Clemson just lined up, and they're bigger and faster in
every way.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
I saw the first play, didn't they score like the
first place? Yeah, it was.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
They threw it as a wide receiver pass, so it
comes against the ball. They throw it out to the
like the wide receiver or the running back like on
a screen. I was watching it, but I was working out,
and then he throws and it was just it was
over from there. They never got their bearings back.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
So yeah, okay, let me just go through some notes here. Okay,
I have Jackson Dart's necklace looks freaking ridiculous. I've made
fun of it every week.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Oh I thought you'd say awesome.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
No, it's not awesome.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
It's loud.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
It's like a perfectly shaped necklace, so it's not even
like a hanging chain. Like a hanging chain, I would
be like, okay, I'm too old, but even I like, hey,
I don't mind change. I like when player's playing change,
that's cool. His is like something you go to Zales and.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
He gets it's just around his neck and he's more
like a choker over his turtleneck. It is not cool. Yeah,
it was not cool before he started.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
I remember seeing it when he was coming in for
packages with Russ and I thought that necklace is not good.
It's it's literally a necklace, not a chain. There's a
sister's necklace. You're lying, that's what it says.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
Oh really, Jackson Dart took sparkling heart necklace from the
sisters room.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Are you sure you're not a joke?
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Is it because she's like not doing well or something?
Speaker 3 (07:23):
No, it's sorry. Are you sure that's not written like satire?
Speaker 5 (07:27):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (07:28):
No, you just got onions on Fox Sports?
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Okay, but why would you wear it outside your clothes?
No way, That thing looks I believe No, no, I
believe you. That thing looks like it's moreth one hundred
thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Huh or more?
Speaker 4 (07:41):
Oh like a little sister wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Have sentimental diamond heart sentimental?
Speaker 1 (07:45):
No, it's no, No, he may have that on the
whole necklace chain, the chain thing he has on there's
a No, it's like jewels.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
I'm sending.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Let me see what it is. Yeah, it's like his
good luck charm. No, I need to see.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Well, then we'ord it under your shirts. Looks ridiculous. I'm
not falling off this one.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
Hey, we're right, there with you. Hold on at least
it makes sense?
Speaker 1 (08:04):
No, I know, right, his dead mother and dead dog
both Diamond. Then you're like, okay, man, you can wear
that makes sense now that is it? Wear it under
your clothes though, dude? And do you even wear it
after this game? Like it's not your good luck?
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Cho Well he's worn it every game, okay, yeah the
first She's alive, right, yeah, hope, man, she's healthy, right.
Speaker 6 (08:31):
Diamond, like, she's not dead, So take it off.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
Take it sentimental? Is that the name of the style
of necklace or is it a sentimental piece of jewelry?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
You need to stop wearing it though, yeah, yeah, no,
I'm not backing off this one. You like a little
like bracelet, rubber bracelet or something like that, or wear
it under your shirt or wear it yeah, because it
looks like a choker like you want to it looks
like you were in a blink choker.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Anyway, he had a bad game, he looked really good.
He reminds me you can do both. You can look
really good and have a bad game as a rookie year.
He reminds me of what bo Nicks was doing last
year when I was like, dude, I know he sucks
right now, but he's going to be really good. I
think Jackson's art's going to be good. He just does
not know how to get down. He was way aggressive.
He threw some bad picks, but the Giant's like five
(09:16):
possessions in a row. It was like punt, punt, fumble, fumble, interception. Yeah,
they're all offense, just didn't didn't look the same with
no neighbors.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Oh, it's funny that rookie quarterbacks do act like that,
Like they just don't. I would think the first thing
the coaches do, like preseasonly, all right, here's the first thing.
You're going to slide. We are going to protect you.
You're not going to be an idy of the NFL.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
But they always do it.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
They're just like, I'm not slide.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I don't think it's a rookie thing. I think it's
how aggressive they are as runners more so than it
being a rookie thing, because I think Josh Allen did
that for two years almost three, and I think they
tell them, they tell them, but it takes usually a
couple of hard hits to realize, oh, this is better.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
They're like stubborn kids think about like growing up your
whole life in high school and ca like you are
the dude and you never slid and you never had
like you're running people over in high school. College not
so much, but still like you're the dude, notine running
people over. And you get the NFL, and it's probably like, oh,
I really can't do this.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Nope, But you have to do it to do it,
especially if you've always done it, because instinctually it's in you.
I don't think you just go I almost start playing
and I'm just gonna slide all the time, naturally, especially
if you're going for first downs because your idea has
always been I got to get the first down to
get the most yards possible. Instead of the NFL. It's
a lot of times live to play again.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
The guys that look like most natural or the baseball players,
the Kyler Murray's and it looked like a small kid
had escaped.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh my god, yesterday when Kyler Murray sa him runninground
the right side, I thought it was I thought it was.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
He looked like a child running.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
So small and I know he's small, that's always the joke.
But he he was like he broke he was around
the right side and he was running. It was like
I was rooting for the little child to get away
from the big man.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
There, don't hurt him. What about when he got hit
in the head with that snap?
Speaker 1 (11:04):
He had to go into the concussion. The bass hit
him so hard in the helmet.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
That's what happens to a kid, That's what I'm saying.
They were like, Cayler Murray.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Might have a concussion, and they showed the clip and
I thought it was going to be of him, like
not sliding.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
No, it was a shotgun snap to hit him in
the head.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Yeah, I mean, how hard was that snap?
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Like, Oh, you can't hit a child in the head
of the ball.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
Okay, that's pretty funny.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
More notes. I do have a note about that the head.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
No, the Cardinals running back. You flipped the ball?
Speaker 4 (11:33):
Oh my god, not the one.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Guys, how does this cross?
Speaker 7 (11:36):
It?
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Just cross the line.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Every year there's somebody who does this, yes, college or NFL, YEP,
who flips it and they have to go to replay
and see if they started flipping it right before they
crossed the line.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
It's not like the line is.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
It's just like get across it and do whatever you want.
You do row row row your boat. You can do
a snow angel, whatever you want. Just get in the
middle of the end zone.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
It always happens, and there's a lot of time to
think about it. It never happens after like three yards out,
or it's a quarterback bootleg, you know, from seven yards out,
and it's always somebody with a thirty five or forty
yard catch or run, which was this case, and they
have a long time to be like oh yeah, yeah,
oh they toss it. It's real stupid.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yeah, but even like was it Jamar Chase or somebody
like scored and just walked in backwards? Do you see that?
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Like even that, like just get across the line, and
I don't mind that.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
I don't mind, like like the Sean old school like
catch it until he actually did it, though he did
it was probably the worst one.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
But yeah, no, I don't mind that. You don't mind
you go on to backwards either way, just go in sideway.
Who care?
Speaker 1 (12:39):
But the walk like, oh can like justin Jefferson, like
he did a thing where he caught it. Oh yeah, yeah,
I just slowly walked in.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Maybe I think that looks cool when they do that. Yeah,
that means you're so far ahead of everybody.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
Yeah, just screw it.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
If you're running full speed and you still drop it,
it's like you made it all the way there and
this is what you do with it.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
The funniest one, and I'm glad it's not my team
that doing it. But the funniest one is whenever they
do the I pull my hamstring. Oh yeah, they run
it in They grabbed their hamstring and then turned into
a dance.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Wait for the dance?
Speaker 6 (13:10):
Did Jalen Ramsey? Jalen Ramsey did that?
Speaker 5 (13:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Last week, Yeah, against the the Vikings and yeah, Germany,
I think it was.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
That's the last one that I saw.
Speaker 5 (13:18):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
Did you see what Jonathan gannon uh did to de
Mercado after that happened? Now, he walked up to him.
I mean, it's I saw it in the news this morning.
He walked right up to him, was yelling at him
and punched him like like in his arm or his
chest or something. It's like becoming like.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
I saw a video of him yelling at him, I
didn't see a punch like he.
Speaker 6 (13:40):
Right right after he got done yelling, he like hit
hit him in the chest or the arm, like punched
him you know what.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
He's got shoulder pads on.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
I don't know, I'm punching the face would be different.
The path makes him take his helmet off to a
punch on the face, take it off. Take your helmet
off because.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
I'm going to punch you. That's different.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Okay, punch in the arm.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Come yeah, let's see some other stuff here. I have
Mark Sanchez. What the crado? That went from pure sympathy to.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
WTF as the news came in more and more because
everybody was like, prayers from Mark Sanchez, prayers from Marxanchez,
and I get it. Mark Sanchez stabbed late at night.
You're thinking he probably got mugged, probably had a nice
watch on us, something happened, and nope, some dude with
a truck.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
Sanchez was drunk trying to get the truck.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Yeah, because at first you hear the guy was parking
in a place in Sanchez like you can't park there,
And then Sancho tried to get in the truck and
they gut pepper sprayed him and then Sanchez continued, so
then he stabbed him. Yeah, the guy said he felt
like he was fighting for his life and the guy
was like seventy yeah, sixty nine years old trying to
beat up a set, right right, and what are you
(14:48):
doing in the alley of a bar called thirty at night?
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Yeah, so that's a good question. Like, so, was it
like trying to find a parking space and that guy
was delivering something.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Sanchez I don't think was trying to find a parking
space for himself.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
From what I read, I couldn't even I don't even
know if this was true because so many things keep
coming out, but like they were literally in the back alley,
like running sprints or like doing something that I saw too,
and the truck was in the.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Way and they couldn't run. Yeah, okay, all right, they
were just so now you get.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
Well, so when you're drunk sometimes you're like I could
race you, I could beat you, or maybe you're doing
like little sprint races back there.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah that's what they were doing. Yeah, I think that's
what they were doing.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
Okay, And then the truck parked in.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
The way of the sprints. Yeah, so he told the
guy to move his truck and the guy was like, no, boy,
And that's what it led to, which is just yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
And also imagine you're like a small seventy year old
man and there's a six to two hundred and thirty
pound Mark Sanchez trying to get in and beat you up.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
You know what you do?
Speaker 1 (15:39):
You spran pepper story and then that doesn't stop on
you know what you do anything? Yeah, because he got
the crap, not Sanchez, the driver. He looked terrible in
the hospital, had gashes on his face. Yeah, so he
gets stabbed too, like I think he got beat up
like Ik Sanchez. God, again, this is just me seeing
pictures and then reading little uh news sections, because it's
(16:08):
all the same, except a news story will have slightly
different variation of what we've read.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Yeah, it was a crazy one.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
And that was Friday night, Saturday night, Saturday night. I no,
I don't know Friday night, Riday night.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
I don't know technically Saturday morning yet because it wasn't
the morning of the game. And then they had to
fly Brady Quinn in to do the game. Oh they
had to fly him. Man, I believe I know he
did it.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
I didn't know if he was Yeah, dang, yeah, so, uh,
you know what, I feel terrible for the old man
because in this nobody is praying for the old man.
It was all prayers for Sanchez. I said this on
the show. If I had to like tear of my prayers,
I go old Man first. Yeah, I don't Knowpe just
gets you know, he's okay, but I don't waste any
prayers on him. If you've got a double prayer up
on the old Man doing that, man, Old Man didn't
(16:52):
do anything.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
It's trying to work deliver his truck.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Yeah, there's going to be a video. It comes out
at some point.
Speaker 8 (16:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
They said that there's a vide, they just haven't released it.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (17:01):
Right, So I just sent it to you guys the video.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Like Brandon has everything the old guys wanted, Jackson Dart's
sister's necklace.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
He's got the backstory on all of it. Yeah, and
we don't even know. We just know what we've read.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Football is back, and so is your shot at big wins.
With Draft Kings Pick six, the official daily Fantasy partner
of the NFL, you just picked more or less on
two or more player stats. So, for example, tonight Chiefs
and Jaguars Patrick Mahomes more or less than two hundred
and forty seven passing yards. I'm gonna go less. Travis
(17:35):
Kelcey more or less than one touchdown. I often bet
on Travis Kelcey to catch a touchdown. It has not
been going for me, not been going well. So I'm
gonna go less and Trevor Lawrence more or less than
two twelve passing yards. I'm going more. So My picks
are Mahomes less than two forty seven, Kelsey no touchdown,
and Trevor Lawrence more than two twelve. So if you
want to follow those up, get in. Here's the kickoff bonus.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
How about the the Karen and Lacy's are the not
Corona Lacey? We find it here? Yeah, the he wasn't
in the accent.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
I know, and I don't know about this.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
They whreaking torched him. He was an LSU player who
supposedly was in the created the car accident killed a person.
He ended up he ended up killing himself.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
He didn't even do it.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Now the footage has come out and he was like
seventy yards behind.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Oh yeah, I can give you some of this.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
It's just how the world, how the Internet treated Cairen
Lacy when the story first hit. I mean he was
villainized quickly. They said he caused a deadly crash. It
was flying down a highway in Louisiana, there was passing
cars in a no passing zone, and then drove away.
From the scene while a man lay dying. That story
was everywhere all over social media. People were commenting on
(19:37):
the story. People piled on they were calling him a killer.
And then it was proven that he didn't cause the crash.
His lawyer release footage showing his car was about seventy
yards behind when the impact happened. He didn't hit anybody,
he didn't touch another car. And there's now I watched
the body cam footage from the cop there's now evidence
(19:57):
that some witnesses may have been coached in their statements.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Even prosecutors were unsure that he had done anything, but
everybody the Internet had completely attacked.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
So he killed himself in yep, April yep.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
Because he was about to go, by the way, he
was an LSU football player who was about to have
a real shot at the NFL.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
Yeah, he was good, and this draft stock just took.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
He was scheduled to face a grand jury in April.
Oh yeah, there was no way he was getting drafted. Yeah,
he was scheduled to face a grand jury in April.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
He never made it.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Days before that hearing, he died in a suicide during
a police chase in Houston, twenty four years old. The
guy was labeled a criminal. His name is Future Everything,
so out of a terrible story.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Yeah, he didn't do it.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
And I watched the footage of the wreck when they
show where his car was, and I watched the cop
on bodycam coaching the witness.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
I didn't see that. You see like the clipboard, yeah,
in the paper and.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
He's like, you saw crazy geez kid killed himself because
of how everybody was portraying him when he didn't do it.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 5 (21:10):
That sucks.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Yeah, that sucks.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
All right.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I didn't have that as a note. I just was
like following that story. I was preparing it for something
else I was gonna do.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
But yeah, then his lawyer said, back when he killed himself,
the truth will come out, indeed, and here it is. Yep,
all right, So I have Mark Sanchez, I have Dart's necklace.
Looks ridiculous. Hey, Eddie, did you know the Troygeman went
eleven his first eleven starts?
Speaker 4 (21:37):
Yeah, you learned that in the documentary.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Oh, I didn't watch the documentary.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
They were terrible, dude, I didn't. I didn't know that.
When like looking back at history, like remembering that part
of the Cowboys. I didn't remember that, and I didn't
remember uh Emmitt Smith sitting out three games when they
were doing contract negotiations. He set out for three games
and they lost all three of them.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
Yeah, and Jerry's let's break it up, all right.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
Let's come, And then he started winning.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
I bring up the Troyman thing because I was Spencer
Ratless first one yesterday, he's now one and ten.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
Started crazy.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
He looked pretty good. He yeah, he's always kind of
looked okay on a terrible team.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
He fights, man, he does, and he moves well. Yeah,
and he's got a good arm. His arm has always
been strong, like that's always been his thing. But for
the Saints yesterday, yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Yeah, he needed that. He kind of felt every week
watching him, You're just like, God, this guy needs to win.
I'm glad they got him for him.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
He was zero and ten and his first ten and
that all starts.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
So I had that he can be the next Troykman.
And what he said, the new coming, what do you say.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
New coming to Josh Allen?
Speaker 1 (22:43):
They can come and yeah, whatever he said, I thought
the I had a big statistical parlay going with. I
had like three money line games. I had two anytime
score touchdowns, I had another and I was in It
was like, I bet like one hundred bucks to t win,
like eight or nine hundred dollars, and the Eagles all
(23:06):
they had to do is win. But I cashed out
while they were winning.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
By the way, Yeah they're up seventeen to three.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
I cashed out something in me.
Speaker 6 (23:14):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
And then Eddie's like, I was just kidding, you have
to cash out, and I was like no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
I said, cash out.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Man.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
We're approaching the witching hour.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
And usually in Essen, if Betty says something that no offense,
I tend to go to the opposite way. But I
was already feeling I was already feel like I'm gonna
jump out of this, and thank god I did. But
the Eagles did lose. There are no undeated teams anymore
with the Eagles and the Bills losing.
Speaker 5 (23:34):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
But the no call on the this is what I wrote,
terrible personal foul call for the Eagles at the end
of the game. Yes, and then no call on a PI.
I think that happened there.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Goddard, I think I don't know, yea Goddard. Yeah, they
didn't call that. I don't know about the personal fowl though,
I remember the no call on the p I.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Though sis about that, well, I wrote it, whatever it is,
so somebody else knows. So what happened?
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yeah, I wrote that the preseason number one or two
teams are both on ranked in Week seven, Texas and
Penn State. Texas is in no fear of firing their coach.
Penn State, Yeah, after that loss another one, I think
they think about it. Oh yeah, it's but that buyout
(24:22):
is a fifty million. It would suck to play football
a Ucla. Yeah, no, man, in La, that stadium is
massive and it's never full.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Right is that the old like Olympic Stadium.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
Colisseum the Rose Bull? They played what plays at the Colisseum?
Oh it's they bleed out.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
They blew out Ucla did and it was only like
the main parts in the middle.
Speaker 6 (24:48):
Yeah, I thought. I thought. I was like, why wasn't
there anybody there?
Speaker 4 (24:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (24:51):
I mean the only time you watched the Rose Bull
is during the Rose bul But they play there every
home game.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
That's tough.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Is that stadium all one hundred thousand? Yeah, you can
tell huge, and in La, nobody cares about anything enough
for there to be one hundred thousand consistently. No, just
because there's so much yep, h Vandy, Hey, I listen.
They played pretty good.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
They lost.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah, they played pretty good. They went down to Alabama
and it was for sure a game.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
They were running that shovel pass option perfection.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
It was awesome.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
I like how the announcers talked about like last year
they ran it this way and then this year they
did this, but then had this little pivot on it.
Speaker 5 (25:25):
It was awesome.
Speaker 8 (25:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
I wrote that.
Speaker 8 (25:27):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
He just tried to Johnny Manzel getting in there with.
Speaker 4 (25:30):
The yes and then go up to Diego and give
them a little hugg Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Okay, I have one other note where Eddie thinks it
might be a food influencer. Now, oh, did somebody repost
your video or something?
Speaker 5 (25:43):
Huge?
Speaker 4 (25:43):
Dude, this is a huge, huge moment in the influencing world.
I posted my popcorn.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
Video influencing world world huge man, and.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
I got reposted by Blackstone, the people that the owners
of the Griddle, the people that make the Griddle.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
They reposted my post. Well yeah, that's huge. Did they
pay you or send you anything?
Speaker 5 (26:03):
No?
Speaker 4 (26:03):
No, But I mean all their followers are like, hey,
look at this Eddie guy cooking popcorn.
Speaker 6 (26:10):
I assume it's like you're the second coming of Guy Fieri.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Second coming.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Some may say, did you tag them?
Speaker 4 (26:18):
Yeah? I tagged. I tag them in all my videos.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
I think that's brilliant.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
I think you should follow up on that though with them, like, hey,
I saw you shared my video. Do you want to
collab on some stuff?
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Send them a d M?
Speaker 3 (26:28):
Yeah? Can I uh? I know it's it's your influencer world,
But can I just offer one?
Speaker 4 (26:34):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (26:35):
Dang it? Can I offer? Because I follow? You know,
I get I get recipe accounts from other guys that
I follow for like meal prep and all that stuff.
And the only because you made what was after the popcorn?
My yes, that looked delicious, Thank you, But what about needing,
like like the the amount that you're putting in of
(26:57):
peanut butter or of whatever it is, you know.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
What I mean?
Speaker 3 (27:01):
So the video of the amount that I put in
is not enough? No, you gotta put it on the
description because when I make, when I do the meal prep, no,
it's not down to the bottom. Yeah, right down the
bottom the description I make. Oh, you got to do
two cups of this, three cups of this, a tablespoon
of this. Could you just say a little bit of this,
a little bit of that, and like this little I'm
(27:22):
just saying I think it would help. This is like
he's just giving you some tips, even.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Tips it should I don't even want to take these
tips from the drink station. See. The reason I don't
write it out is because they'll keep watching it to
get the ingredient.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Now that's oh dude, I've seen my wife do it.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
I'm going to tell you though, for the most part,
people will take in social media. They don't keep watching them.
If you don't tell them everything they want to know quickly.
They don't even stay no, no, no.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
What I'm saying is say you want to make the
issa ebol right, if it was written out, you just
screenshot it and boone, that's my that's my recipe.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
That's not sure.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
Or then you can just watch and be like, okay,
he put us scoop of that a little bit, then
rewind that, watch it again one more view.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
I didn't have the views.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
It's not people that consume social media. I think he's
got a point right out of the bottom.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
But you people would save it like I saved some
you know, saved tab or whatever, and then so you
can so you'll go back and watch it again and
also read how much of whatever you're putting it in.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
And they promote things that have been saved and shared
more than they do comments anymore these days. I think
you can learn something from.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
Him drink station over here.
Speaker 8 (28:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
I'm just saying, hey, I'm trying to help you out. Okay,
I'm not criticizing you.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Know what, I should accept that you're right, You're right.
I should be like, hey, thanks for helping me.
Speaker 9 (28:34):
Man.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
I don't take shots at you like you do to
me all the time, just randomly. I'm just I'm just
giving you something, suggestions, Kevin.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
I think you both can learn from each other, from
one influencer to another.
Speaker 6 (28:43):
If you guys collabed on something, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
Like can I make you a drink that you can
use at the drink station?
Speaker 3 (28:49):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (28:50):
You know what I enjoyed about your video? Yeah, you
didn't have pedal voice. I turned the volume all the
way when I see it.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Did.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
I cringe whenever you make a new one, because I'm like,
I can't take pedal voice and I turned and you
did your thing, and I was like, oh, no, pedal boys, awesome.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
You're talking about when you first see a post? Oh,
Eddie posted a vid like do I really want to watch?
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (29:10):
See I know where the pedal voice came from. Where
in my in my office where I voice Uh. Sometimes
I don't want to do it too loud because people
are still sleeping or something, so like, okay, so Sam,
I'm making the ass bowl like here's my as Oh no, no,
but now but now I'm like, hey, I got a
nice ebowl and now it's like more exciting, not so
(29:32):
much pedophile, like how you talk right now?
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Perfect?
Speaker 4 (29:35):
Yeah, No, I'm getting more comfortable with it.
Speaker 8 (29:37):
I am.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
I am.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
But now I guess I'm gonna write it.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
You ever want an ice a bowl in a van?
Don't eat your theory, get it, get in my wide
van for the I E bowl.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
I haven 'ingreedy.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
I thanks to the support.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
No, I'm giving you the voice.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
I'm saying thank you. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Can you take a tip? I just took it.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
I'm gonna give you another one. Oh gosh, No, I'm
just kidding. The tip was keep doing non pedal voice
if you got to wait five minutes for everybody to
wake up.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Do it loud or do that?
Speaker 6 (30:05):
No?
Speaker 4 (30:05):
No, no, I'm going to d M the company today.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
Yeah, like, hey, I.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Saw, I love working with you. You guys want to
collab on something. And all that means is do they
want to send.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
You free stuff?
Speaker 5 (30:14):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah, that'd be cool and then eventually you can work,
you know, do money.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
So if they say, if they say, like, yeah, what
do you have in mind?
Speaker 1 (30:20):
Then have something in mind? Present something. What's your next thing?
Speaker 4 (30:24):
Oh I'm gonna do a drink next.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
Oh there we go on the griddle.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
No okay, but no there you know them. You need
to have something for them.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I was thinking about doing
salmon on the griddle.
Speaker 8 (30:39):
I was great.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
I was thinking about doing salmon on the griddle. Here's
what I don't have. If you guys will provide me
with this another griddle, and I could I could use
a second griddle for shooting. If you guys could provide
one of those, I'd be happy to tag that that's
good stuff.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
Yeah, then then sell on Craigs Lost or whatever.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
I look like a bigger drummer with a bunch of
griddles around it.
Speaker 8 (31:00):
You got.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
That's actually really funny. Yeah, good, have to sell it.
You just have it now.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
That's a good tip, Thank you man.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
And then as you're no, yours was good to Kevin.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Yeah was good too. Just chop liver over here.
Speaker 5 (31:17):
I like that one.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
We got text tech helmet sweet tech them there it is.
I watched them play for the first time this weekend.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
They're good.
Speaker 5 (31:26):
They're good.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
They're so good watching them play Houston. Houston was undefeated.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
I bet them and took and gave up points and
they still cover. I think it was like thirteen and
a half or something.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
I know it's eleven and a half at one point. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Their colors were cool too this week. They look like
the oilers.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
Yeah, Houston.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah. I noticed that there were a
lot of cool uniforms this week.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
I didn't notice that. And I watched the first half
of the game because I bet it, but I didn't.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
You didn't think you were watching the oilers for a second.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
I didn't.
Speaker 6 (31:52):
I'm trying to he's also color blind.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
Oh that'sir that's true.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Yeah. Yeah, it's like it's a baby blue with a
little bit of red.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
Yeah, almost like an old miss I hear you guys,
I just don't remember.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
We're explaining what colors.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
I just don't remember. I got Texas Tech workout gear.
You guys can grab whatever down because they sent us
a bunch of work out in that.
Speaker 6 (32:11):
What about the Seahawks Bucks uniforms throwbacks?
Speaker 4 (32:16):
What I told my kids is like, right there, that's
exactly what they looked like when I was your age, yea,
and they were all like crabs. They were like, oh
like black and white days. No, I'm not that old.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
I did see Sean Alexander because they were doing like
twenty five years or whatever it was, since something that
John Alexander was there in his black jacket because they
were also and Mike Alsott was there. Oh okay, cool cool, Yeah,
and they both looked great.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Oh I thought you're gonna say something bout seventeen kids.
Speaker 8 (32:38):
No, not that.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
But he looks good, yeah, or Sean Sean looks great,
also looks strong still still yeah, yeah, but John Ognner
doesn't look any older.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
How do they do that?
Speaker 8 (32:52):
You know?
Speaker 1 (32:52):
How?
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Why go on and say, oh they stay fit?
Speaker 5 (32:59):
No?
Speaker 1 (32:59):
You know how you know?
Speaker 8 (33:01):
Oh? I got I got ya, I got you.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
I know what I wish Reid was here.
Speaker 6 (33:04):
Do you mean.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
No raid?
Speaker 1 (33:07):
Note, He turns, Okay, I'm gonna play this, and then
we're gonna get to Jason Campbell. I had Brian Bosworth
on the Bobby Cast and so legendary football player in
the eighties for Oklahoma. He's the only person to ever
win the Bucks Award twice. He won a national championship
with the Sooners. He was his own brand before nil
(33:29):
and college brands ever existed. A lot of people which
I'm finding did not know he was the sheriff and
the Dr Pepper Fansville commercials. Yeah, I get more people going,
what I didn't know that?
Speaker 8 (33:39):
Did you know that?
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Yeah? Of course I knew that.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, back to it. Then I asked
him if he knew just how famous he was when
he was at Oklahoma. So we talked about that and
then his haircut at the time and the reason behind it.
Speaker 9 (33:50):
They got to the point where I felt kind of famous. Yeah,
because every school that we would go to on the road,
all of their players and even when we got to
you know, when we played in the Orange Bowl. I
remember Washington's players. They'd get us together on these little
you know, Orange Bowl like trips and stuff, and we
(34:11):
were on some cruise and I think that's when it
first hit me. All of the players from from Washington
were going, hey man, hey, boss man, I'm gonna get
a picture with you, you know, and they gave us
those little Kodak cameras and stuff. I guess it's like
the little freebie stuff that they would give you in
the swag bag. And I'm thinking, is this weird? Why
am I taking pictures with the opposing team. I don't
(34:34):
know how my teammates are going to feel about that.
But the team my teammates were also they they kind
of enjoyed the ride too, because you know, I would
just say shit because I felt like we were good enough,
we could back it up, you know, and it was
just all organic. I wasn't doing it to like you know,
(34:55):
you know market myself. I was just you know, living
my best life in the best you know, school possible,
and everything was working. All the stars were aligning. So
I was along for the roller coaster ride, but I
was bringing everybody along with me and we were all
having such a blast. And then it just kind of
everywhere we went, you know, we you know, at the
(35:16):
end of the game, the cheerleaders would come over, Hey,
we want to get a picture, and I'm going, you know,
I don't sing, I don't dance. I just play football.
We're really good. I'm not as good without these guys.
But it just seemed like all the notoriety was was
was coming down on me. I mean I helped a
little bit because I you know, I cut my hair weird.
(35:37):
You know, I didn't think it was weird. I just
cut it because my old man wouldn't let me cut
it in high school. And I was just like, well
he's not he's not you know here now, so I
can do whatever I want to.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
So that wasn't like a big statement when you cut
your hair the first time, like to the world.
Speaker 5 (35:51):
No.
Speaker 9 (35:51):
I mean it was more of a my dad because
my dad was like, you know, you're not cutting your hair.
I pay seven dollars to get that bowl cut, and
that's the cut you're getting. I said, but Dad, everybody
in this you know, in high school, right before fall ball,
they all go get their hair buzzed, and well, you're
not doing that. You're going to get your bowl cut
and that's what you're getting. So, I mean my dad
(36:12):
was one of those you live by his rules, or
you don't live. And I appreciated that. I mean, I
would rather have a dad that was that way than
a dad who was trying to be my friend, because
I see the consequences of parents trying to be their kids'
friends instead of their parents. And they're not supposed to
(36:32):
be their friends. They're supposed to be there to make
them hate life so they can get the hell out
of the house and grind their own foundation and build
their own house with the tools of hard love, tough love,
you know. And I thank God for that kind of relationship.
I mean, I wish he was a little more warm,
warm and fuzzy and and happy, but I know that
(36:54):
that was what he was capable of. He gave me
as much as he had, and you know it, you know,
it was what it was. I wish it was more,
but I appreciate what I did get from him. But
you know, all of the stuff that really happened really
was it just really happened organically. I remember when we
(37:15):
were going to the Orange Bowl that first year, I
went and got the haircut. I want to say, I
got that haircut about halfway through the season. It was
after I know it was after the Texas game, because
I've seen pictures with me with just long, scraggly hair.
So sometime during during that season, and I remember going
to the Orange Bowl. I asked the girl, said, I
(37:36):
used to be a tow head. I'd love to be
a toehead again.
Speaker 8 (37:39):
Can you do that? And she goes, yeah, I just
sit down.
Speaker 9 (37:41):
And we were leaving that day to go on the
bus to the plane to get to you know, to
go to Miami, and I was already packed, so I
had made the appointment, so I had I could get
trimmed up nice and clean and then get on the
bus and then go and back. In those days, if
you missed a bus, you're paying your own way. I mean,
they might be upset with you, but to get down there,
(38:04):
you got to pay your own way. And I'm sure
you'd have to get up and do some stadium stairs
at five point thirty in the morning. But I remember
sitting in the chair and I'm looking at my watch
and I'm going, holy shit, I'm gonna miss the bus.
You got to get this stuff off, man, I gotta go.
So she washed it off. I didn't even look at it,
and I got to the bus walked on the bus
(38:24):
and the guys just started donkey laughing.
Speaker 8 (38:26):
I mean, I'm just what's what's the matter?
Speaker 9 (38:29):
Get your hair? Says, yeah, what's wrong with it? It's orange?
It's orange and looked in the like the reflection. I
can't see it. Is it orange?
Speaker 5 (38:40):
Really?
Speaker 8 (38:40):
Says yeah, Well, we're going to the Orange Bowl.
Speaker 9 (38:43):
That's why. That's right, I'm going to the Orange Bowl.
I'm just trying to get everybody fired up.
Speaker 8 (38:49):
How do we feel?
Speaker 9 (38:51):
So it was like everything happened, you know, accidentally, you know,
with a slight bit of on purpose. I corrected it
after I got back, but you know, it was like,
you know, everything that I did was like how outrageous?
Speaker 8 (39:07):
Can I push this? How much further? Is there really
a line in the sand?
Speaker 9 (39:12):
Or is it just kind of an imaginary Just keep
pushing it, keep pushing and keep pushing it.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
And I think that was was always like that football
is back, and so is your shot at big wins.

Kelcey to catch a touchdown. Has not been going for me,
not been going well, So I'm gonna go less, and
(39:57):
Trevor Lawrence more or less than two twelve passing yards
I'm going So my picks are Mahomes less than two

Speaker 5 (41:32):
Man, Oh, I appreciate it. Thank you for having me on.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
Hey, so I saw your tweets at the sec as
wide open.
Speaker 8 (41:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:37):
I don't even know where to start except for Texas
probably sucks. Like, let's start there. Texas kind of sucks,
right man.
Speaker 5 (41:43):
I'll tell you what.
Speaker 7 (41:43):
I knew that was gonna be a tough game for
Tests when you think about how they went to Ohio
State and that.
Speaker 5 (41:49):
First game they wouldn't even score many points.
Speaker 7 (41:50):
Again, Matt Patricia's defense, who kind of kind of laid
a blueprint for a lot of SEC schools as far
as like doing his zone blitzes and how to high
blitzes that you see in the NFA. You know, he's
kind of brought to college a little bit. But I
knew Florida played great defense all year. They've kept them
in every game they've struggled offensively, and I just kind
of figured that once they got a biweek and the
opportunity to work on their passing game and fit some
(42:14):
things there, that they could be a good football team
and they would be a dangerous team for Florida.
Speaker 5 (42:18):
Go.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
I mean for the testis to go in there and play,
yeah with Texas next week and they do have to
play Oklahoma. Were we unfair on the expectations onto arch Manning.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (42:29):
On my first show, a podcast I did with Taylor Davis,
I told everybody, I said, you know, you have to
pump the brakes and awarding kids, you know, trophies before
they actually play.
Speaker 5 (42:40):
And will he be in the screen talent in the future.
Speaker 7 (42:43):
He probably will, but as of today, was just like,
you can't put that much pressure on the kid that
haven't started in college yet. In his first two games
they played in in college was against you know, lesser opponents,
and he came in and sparing time, So it wasn't
like he was a full time starter and having to
play this schedule. You know, once you become the target,
(43:04):
now everyone shoots for you, and unfortunately for him, he
was a target before his career even started at Texas.
So I just think, uh, you know, he carry a
lot of pressure on his shoulders. You know, you feel
like he has to live up to you know, his
uncles and everybody case. That's what everyone is expect that's
what everyone expects, and I don't think it was fair
for him to have to deal with all of that, uh,
(43:24):
you know, noise in the beginning. As far as you know,
everyone's saying he's the top Heisman Canada, he's the first
pick in the draft next year, and all these different things.
It's almost like the media is kind of building them up,
you know, just waiting for him to mess up. So
they got an opportunity to, you know, to have bigger stories.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
Oklahoma's unefeated. They'll play Texas next week, but they don't
have Jeometerier playing.
Speaker 5 (43:45):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
I mean, he was a Heisman favorite until he had
to go in for hand surgery. Hawkins looked pretty good
last week, but how do you see this game happening?
Speaker 7 (43:52):
Oh, Red River rivalry. It's always a tough game, right Uh.
If Joum materials in that game, I lean towards oklahom heavily.
Uh not, you know, I say heavily in the rival games.
Seven points is heavy, but you know, because of what
he brings to the table. And I saw him play
against Auburn defense and I figured our defense was one
of the better ones, you know in college football. You know,
(44:14):
he made the players that he had to make when
they was there, And to me, that's the true testament
of a quarterback. When they had to go down and
win the game. He took him down to drive. He
stood in the pocket, you know, took some hits to
the to the chest, and he was still delivering balls
acurately when he had to. And I thought we put
a lot of pressure on him from a defensive standpoint
to get him off his mark, and he just kept
(44:36):
chopping wood and kept chopping and end up eventually they
ended up beating us at the end. But yeah, Oklahoma's
gonna lean heavy on their defense. You know, Mason Junior
is a beast. He's probably the best pass rusher, one
the top three pass rushers in college football. You know,
he has speed, he has size, he can come off
the ball with power, and so I know Tests is
(44:57):
gonna have to try to chip block him with the
with the running back as well. But I think in
this game, again, Archi is about to go against another
top defense. And the difference between Florida and Oklahoma. Oklahoma
has young corners. You know, they had a true freshman
at they're starting that they had on Cam Coben. I
thought we was able to take advantage of that. I
think Sharp will try to do the same thing this
(45:20):
week against Oklahoma.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
Speaking of your school, Auburn, Jackson Arnold feels like he's
like twenty five years old because you know, he's a
five star kid. He's a freshman last year Oklahoma, but
it feels like he's lived a long life. How do
you see his development so far this year?
Speaker 7 (45:35):
I think for Jackson is the biggest thing when you
play for defensive coordinators, right and I think when he
was at Oklahoma, it's all about, you know, I don't
want to turn the ball over because we have this
great defense and we don't want to get off the
opposing team something easy. I think the hardest thing for
him right now is you know, just cutting it loose.
You know, he doesn't want to make the mistakes. He
doesn't want to throw an interception, and I think sometimes
(45:57):
you may need to throw one, you know, just to
kind of feel you know, they get get get it
off your back a little bit, and just you know,
being able to take chances sometimes because you know he's
a dual threat quarterback.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
He can run, he can throw.
Speaker 7 (46:10):
And I think the thing right now is just trying
to figure out an offensive line up front. I think
that's where everything starts. At is getting better pass protection,
and I think for him is just trust what you
see and you see it, just let it go. You know,
in this league, guys are not gonna be wide wide open.
Often for guys two to three yards in front of
someone that's open, you know, and just trust your arm
(46:31):
and trust what you see and just let it go.
So I think to get him to the next level,
he has to start trusting his eyes a little bit
more and just and just let the ball go.
Speaker 1 (46:40):
Who do you think is the best team in the
SEC right now?
Speaker 5 (46:43):
Man?
Speaker 7 (46:47):
That's that's a tough one because every week it's like,
you know, at one point everyone saying the LSU look
good if they beat Clemson. Then once you saw a
couple of weeks of Clemson, you're like, okay, and that
LSU offense is sputter, and then you know test is out.
You know, everyone was waiting to see who they played
after they played Ohio State because you know, they beat
some some other teams, but it wasn't the same size
(47:07):
value as as SEC or Big ten. And now they've
lost two of those big games. You know, Alabama is
trending in the right direction. I thought Vanderbilt could have
won that game this weekend. They don't turn the ball
over twice in the rezone. I hate to see it.
I guess right now it has to be Alabama.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
Yeah, to look at the ap that came out Ole,
miss Texas, A and M, Alabama, Georgia. You got all
these teams up. And the great thing about the SEC
is also the worst thing about the SEC. It'll all
shake itself out, but man, they're just eating each other
up every week.
Speaker 7 (47:38):
Yeah, it's the NFL in college. Yeah, that's why I
tell everybody. Next year we go to nine SEC games,
So on any given Saturday, anybody can be beat. You
saw Missippi State, you know, could have beat Tennessee two
weeks ago. They gave up two touchdowns to the defense
for Tennessee's defense, so they spared them fourteen points and
still win in overtime. You think about you know, A
(48:00):
and M. They look really good defensively, but offensively they
struggled a lot. I know they kind of pulled away
from Misissippi State a little bit in the third quarter
this week, but overall they're still struggling a little bit offensively.
Speaker 5 (48:10):
Excelf for the Notre Dame game.
Speaker 7 (48:13):
When I think about Old Miss Old Miss to me
is the that's the that's the team you got to
keep your eye on coming into this year one. You
they have to replace a lot of defensive players, had
to replace Jackson dart Uh, some of the receivers, and man,
they found something.
Speaker 5 (48:27):
This kid is shamless.
Speaker 7 (48:29):
You know, this kid come from a you know, basically
D two level and D one double and he's he's
shining right now, like he's throwing over three hundred yards.
Speaker 5 (48:38):
So he's rushing the ball.
Speaker 7 (48:40):
You know, Austin Simmons was a good talent as well,
but you know Austin, you know, had a couple of turnovers.
But this kid protects the football and he and he's
leading this team pretty good, and team believe in him.
And defensive I think Pete Goldberg got these guys. Pete
gold and got these guys playing, you know, higher level
than than what they expected. So to me, their schedule
gets a little hard. So we're gonna find a little
(49:00):
bit more at the Old Miss Uh as we get
rolling here.
Speaker 5 (49:03):
But to be the lsu I thought in their backyard
was it was a big, big win.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
For them when you were playing and I want to
take Tuscaloosa out because that was a rivalry game. But
when you were playing at Auburn, what was the what
was the craziest, loudest stadium you played in?
Speaker 7 (49:18):
Oh As, you know, LSU at nighttime. You know, anytime
you went to Baton Rouge at nighttime, you gave everybody
all day to get and get hammered. So by the
time the game started, you know, they had this big
tiger that would uh sit beside your like your locker room.
You come out and he's like, man, you know, trying
to intimidate. You know, I was like, only things stay
(49:41):
in the cage were good. But uh but I tell you, man,
it's uh it was Liuve.
Speaker 5 (49:46):
I tell you what.
Speaker 7 (49:47):
Auburn at nighttime and we played Georgia this week at night.
I'm not being biased, but Auburn's probably one of the
loudest places I've heard or seen it at nighttime in
a home stadium outside outside of Baton Rouge.
Speaker 1 (50:01):
You don't think there's a little bit of buias there.
Speaker 7 (50:04):
I'm just saying, you know, it gets rocket, man, I'm
talking about it gets rocket. They'll swags, surf come on
and at the end and the fourth quarter, you know,
people get intense, and you know, especially if it's a
big game like Georgia or Obama LSU, you know, all
these big teams, like it gets really really loud. I
would say this. I played in Florida at nighttime. The
(50:25):
Swamp gets loud. I really like the Swamp tests and them.
They like to sway back and forth. But I haven't
been there the night game both times Auburn played. It's
been daytime that I've been calling games. But Tennessee is loud.
I played in Tennessee and four and they had one
hundred and ten thousand, and you know, they get the
singing Rocket top. So the SEC has a lot of
(50:46):
premier stadiums that even in the NFL they can't even
compare to because just the loudness and high intense they get.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
It is fun to play in You mentioned four. I
think of four.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
I think about how you guys got screwed. You undefeated,
you don't get to play for a national title. Does
that still bother you?
Speaker 5 (51:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (51:05):
It always will, probably, you know, just the fact that
you realize how hard it is to play in this league.
And I think we kind of set the run after US.
I think the SEC went on like a seven to
eight game winning streak in the national championship run. So
it bothers you a little bit, But I always tell people, man,
no one can take away the undefeated season. No one
(51:25):
can take about take away what you accomplish and all
the different things that you know we was able to
do that year. I think started a conversation about the
playoff system, right, you think about as a whole, these
guys having a chance to now go out there and compete,
and now you get into the dance where before you
have to let a computer system decides, you know, who
(51:47):
gets to play in the dance.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Do you have a favorite drive when someone asks you
that question from back in Auburn, like a drive maybe
late in the game that you're like, man, that was
the one.
Speaker 7 (51:55):
Oh yeah, I can always go back to the LSU
game that year. We're down nine to three and it's
like we went forward on the one yard line one
time and we didn't get it, so we only had
three points on the board at that time. It was
a you know, jugging out, just defensive battle, like I
think over thirty something players. When people went back and
(52:16):
looked at it, on both of those teams together played
in the National Football League, and it was one of
the hardest hitting games I ever played in. And you know,
five minutes to go in the game, and you know
Nick Saban was ahead. Coach Mush Champs the defensive coordinator
at that time, and you know they was defending national champs,
and we got to go down to go down, and
we know this may be our only shot, and were
going a loan drive and I remember getting the fourth
(52:39):
and twelve coach Coach Borges, who's the offense coordinator, said hey,
we're going to do a rollout to the right because
we got to get you away from the blitz.
Speaker 5 (52:48):
We know, saving the Muschamp We're gonna go cover zero.
And it's true enough.
Speaker 7 (52:52):
They went cover zero, brought everyone and we knew there
was one guy we couldn't block. That was the furthest defender,
which was the corner on the blitz in US sprint
to the right, and I just remember, you know, two
guys about the hammer of me, and I knew Cordon.
Speaker 5 (53:04):
Taylor was one on one outside. I just remember just
kind of.
Speaker 7 (53:07):
Letting the ball go a little bit and putting a
little air on it so you can see it when
he come out of it because I knew I was
gonna have time to wait for him. I just remember
getting hammered and then this thing, I know, I heard
the crowd getting loud and going crazy, and I was
just like, I couldn't see if he caught it yet.
So I got up and I saw a jumbo trun
and everything that he had caught it, and we got
the first down and then got the third and twelve,
which base was third and gold. I think we lost
(53:29):
the artis in the first play, and we run, you know,
a double stick. Now, I played with two inside receivers
who knew he was gonna get some type of too
high quarters look, and true enough, Cordon Taylor again ran
a double move, was able to find him in the
back of the end zone, and the crowd just went crazy.
Probably the loudness I've heard in Auburn. I wasn't there
(53:50):
in thirteen when they won the kick sets. I was
asking the pros at that time. But the loudest I've
heard and there was that game and it was going crazy.
Speaker 1 (54:00):
Was there ever a time that you were so prepared
that when the defense got into whatever whatever they were
giving you, whatever shell whatever, that you were like, oh,
I know exactly what we're doing, like it was all
it felt like it was so easy that night.
Speaker 7 (54:12):
Oh yeah, first half of Tennessee two thousand and four.
I think we was thirty one and three at halftime.
You know, we go to Rocky Top and you know,
cameras everywhere, the river it's all lit up. I know,
the sea of tangerine oranges everywhere, and you know, here
comes Old Auburn. And I remember that week it was
(54:33):
a top ten matchup, and everyone kept talking about Tennessee, Tennessee, Tennessee,
and we just like, hold on, now, we got a
veteran football team and no one's you know, it's giving
us a lot of created College game day was there,
and I know Charles Barklay, I saw him on the
set earlier that day, and you know how he was
talking about, you know how he felt all gonna come
in there and win this game and the reasons why.
(54:54):
And that's the game we started locking the arms if
everyone kind of go back and and you know ourselves
hard fighting soldiers back in the day. You know, that
was the book that our team chaplain came up with
our name and he based it off you know, the
story of the three hundred and so we ended up
locking arms and we came out that night and said, look,
(55:14):
it's us against everybody in here, and you know it's
one hundred and ten thousand people in the stands and
it's you know, there's only eleven can play on defense, offense,
and special teams. So everyone focused on you know, your job,
but you know we're gonna come out of here victories night.
Speaker 5 (55:29):
Man. We came out that night man like laying the hammer.
Speaker 7 (55:32):
You know, running Brown was running the ball, r cattle
at running the ball, harror and passing game was on point.
You know, at halftime we look up with thirty one
and three. In the second half, we just kind of
nailed back a little bit because at that point in time,
it's just control the game and get out of there.
But you know, that was one of those games in
the SEC Championship we had to play them again, and
it's hard to be the team twice in the SEC.
(55:52):
And here we go playing Tennessee again and what got
it all started boning with when yeah, one of their
defensive line line back said that was a flute what
happened at night in Tennessee. So you know, we made
sure that we beat them twice so that they can
remember that it wasn't a fluke.
Speaker 1 (56:10):
How satisfying is it to be in another stadium you're
the away team and you shut the crowd up.
Speaker 7 (56:17):
Oh man, Especially there right, you hear rocket Top every
every two minutes, Like, Yeah, I love Tennessee atmosphere. But
you hear rocket Top like every two minutes in pregame,
it's all you heard. Tying the game, get a start,
it's all you heard, kickoff all you heard. And it's
a great atmosphere. It's one of the fun atmosphere to
play in college football. But at halftime, when everyone's quiet
(56:39):
and you know, and then at the end of the
third quarter you start seeing the people you know twins
out of the stadium. That means you must have done
your job. And it doesn't get any better than that.
You can go in the opposing stadium at the end
of the third quarter you start seeing their fan base leave.
Speaker 1 (56:55):
Let me ask you one NFL question. Do you remember
your first NFL touchdown? Who was it?
Speaker 4 (56:59):
Two?
Speaker 5 (57:00):
There's Cooley.
Speaker 7 (57:00):
I think it was Tampa Bay game played Tempa and
two thousand sits No, it was Carolina Panthers in two
thousand and six.
Speaker 5 (57:08):
Coolly.
Speaker 7 (57:09):
I think it was like a sixty seven yard seven
yard touchdown. I remember I had to start in the
middle of the season, you know, like so Breneo at
that point in time was the starter. And then all
of a sudden they said, hey, well we're gonna throw
you out there against Derrick Brooks and a Rundez Barber
and you know, and Tampa Bay defense for your first
NFL start. Okay, you know that's when Tampa's defense was
(57:32):
really really good and everything.
Speaker 5 (57:35):
But it was a sighting time. You know. Pro football
is it's changing.
Speaker 7 (57:40):
You see a lot of college now pro football and
the type of offenses they're running. The game has changed
backly so much, like as far as how you can
hit someone, how you couldn't hit no one. Back in
the day, people hit you as a quarterback and they
would bear down on you and like try to bear
you in the ground and everything. They try to knock
the crap out of you. Where Now if you come
even close to the head or you know you half
(58:01):
a second late on the head, you.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
Know it's it's your podcast, The sc State of my podcast.
How many times a week do you guys do that?
Speaker 5 (58:08):
We do it once a week.
Speaker 7 (58:09):
We try to cover all things SEC, none biased. Like
I said, we get on there, we talk about a
lot of things it's going on around around the league.
It seemed like my landscaping people decided they want to
come by the window while I'm on.
Speaker 1 (58:20):
I didn't know if that was me or you. I'll
be honest, because it happens at my house all time too.
Speaker 7 (58:25):
Like geez, you know, like outside, they just had to
show up at at this time. But yeah, I would
say we do it once a week and it's a
great show. Taylor Davis does now standing job, and then
you know, we truck cover all things and it's really fun.
You know, everyone should tune in, man, because we're not
just Auburn biased. We cover all things in the.
Speaker 1 (58:44):

Speaker 8 (58:55):

Speaker 5 (58:56):
Yeah, I appreciate it, guys. Thanks for having me on.
Speaker 7 (58:58):
And maybe next time my landscapers a side tell a
different time.
Speaker 3 (59:02):
All right, man, all right?
Speaker 8 (59:04):
See you later.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
By the way, we did miss our parlay. I'm sorry
about that, but there was a point where I was
just rooting for Pen State to lose. I flipped on
the parlay.
Speaker 8 (59:18):
Understand.
Speaker 1 (59:19):
Yeah, I didn't affect it, but I flipped on it.
Texas Tech we hit that one. Georgia, we hit that one.
Penn State. I would I'm happy that happened like that.
What sucks is if you miss it and then they
eke out a win, but you missed the cover, like
we're gonna miss it.
Speaker 3 (59:33):
I just wanted them to lose. Yeah, when they started
coming back, I was like, no, yeah, you're gonna lose.
You're gonna lose. I just like drama.
Speaker 1 (59:42):
Okay, So I pulled up my stats on my DraftKings,
and for the month, I am up six hundred and
twelve dollars. All right, No, I mean it's fine, that's
not the point. That's not the point.
Speaker 4 (59:57):
That's pretty it's better than mine.
Speaker 3 (59:58):
Brandon sent me these screenshots. Brandon hit a.
Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
Twelve pick parlay twelve for four dollars and he won
two hundred and seventeen dollars.
Speaker 4 (01:00:10):
What well, thank you, Drake May. You're starting to piss me.
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
Off Man, would you mind if I look at your stats?
Speaker 6 (01:00:17):
Oh? Please, just don't tell my wife.
Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
No, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
It's all good now, I just want to see because yeah,
look at your status show coming over. I had some
some bonus bets from the Kiren Williams thing, the two
hundred and fifty that I used a lot of, but
I could be losing more than I'm making, so we'll see. Yeah,
but that's why I said it's time for an intervention.
(01:00:41):
That's what we're thinking because Brandon hit like a four touchdowner.
He had he had a four pick ten fo one
hundred bucks, but he hit a twelve.
Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
Okay, I'll I went like thirty bucks on pump.
Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
But we're not betting the way they are.
Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
So if you go to like your brien, what do
you say, two dollars, go to my stat sheet twelve legs, dude,
and then it's going.
Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
To bring up so this month that's what you are.
Oh okay, so here's Brandon's total?
Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
Come on, Oh pretty good. Well hold on, keep the
phone because I have a question. I have some other questions.
Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
Okay, what you could not do that one first?
Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
So this month Brandon is minus seventy three dollars.
Speaker 4 (01:01:22):
Oh, through.
Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Six days last month, he was up eighty nine dollars.
He's actually in the black. He has a net gain
of fifteen dollars, having used it all for two months.
Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
Okay, so he started two months ago. Uh huh, I
mean it's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
Yeah, if you're in the winnings at all.
Speaker 3 (01:01:43):
Yeah, yeah, he break even.
Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
That's yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:01:46):
How many here's my question, entertainment. How many bets has
he placed?
Speaker 6 (01:01:50):
Well, I'm scared to know.
Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
Wait, didn't you just win like a thousand bucks?
Speaker 4 (01:01:54):
Right?
Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
He had a huge one, two thousand? He says, like,
oh I told my wife two thousand. Yeah, you had
a big one, like huge, it was a thousand.
Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
Okay, yeah, wow, that means you're way down.
Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
Oh no, not really. I mean, well, if you're did
you catch out the thousand? Oh yeah yeah okay, no no, but.
Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
It's if it's in your account, it still counts. I
don't have to take it out of your account the winner.
Speaker 5 (01:02:16):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
Okay, Okay, So let's see what do what do you
want to know?
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
How many bets is he placed in two months?
Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
Settled?
Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
What do you want to hear?
Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
All this?
Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
Three four, you get to count of it and tell
you eight oh.
Speaker 6 (01:02:30):
Wow, eleven twelve, thirty Tennessee gambling eighteen, thirty, thirty one,
thirty two. Oh there's a meeting today, six thirty.
Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
Seven, forty one, three, four, five six.
Speaker 6 (01:02:44):
Does anybody want to be my sponsor? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Yeah, yeah, there's a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
So you're getting to fifty.
Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
Oh yeah, it's it's easily in the one hundred.
Speaker 9 (01:02:52):
It's still.
Speaker 6 (01:02:56):
I do guys have like any advice? I feel like
every week that I do winning, you are up, dude,
you do you? I would say, like in the first month,
I'm like, oh, I'm not going to do that anymore.
That's that's not good. Don't do that anymore.
Speaker 3 (01:03:08):
I have advice for you. Okay, since we just do
it for entertainment, for fun, don't do anything more than
you have for entertainment for fun.
Speaker 4 (01:03:15):
Okay, you're having fun, you're doing all right, keep doing you.
Speaker 3 (01:03:19):
Keep doing it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
But you're again you're winning.
Speaker 6 (01:03:21):
Okay, I'm going to cancel this meeting.
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
That's crazy that you're for now. It's hard to win.
It's hard to win consistently. It's fun and you just
have to play with what's what's fun? But it's like golf,
like if you're winning, just enjoy it. Ye take it
in buddy, because next weekend is going to be completely opposite.
Speaker 4 (01:03:38):
But it's also true, like when you hit one in
the water, don't get too mad about it. You're just
doing it for fun.
Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
Unless your friend knows.
Speaker 4 (01:03:46):
I started betting soccer. That's kind of fun.
Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
Okay, don't do that.
Speaker 5 (01:03:49):
Brand.
Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Have you guys heard that Eddie's a psychic thing?
Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
Are you thinks of the psychic now?
Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
I haven't told anyone. I only told you go ahead
because you're I'm gonna start by saying you're not gonna
believe me, and but there's no reason for me to
even make this up. The reason I asked when the
Mark Sanchez thing was, and it was Friday night, is
because on Saturday morning I woke up and had march
Mark Sanchez in my head.
Speaker 8 (01:04:16):
I do.
Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
I don't know why, but I just pictured his face
and I'm like Mark Sanchez. I remember being in the shower,
being like Mark Sanchez.
Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
In the shower. Yeah, just kind of chant Sanchez and
the butt in the showers. What you're thinking of?
Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
No, I just I was just in the shower and
I'm just thinking, yeah, did we see him in a
Cowboys game?
Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
No? No, maybe you saw it and you didn't realize
that I heard it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:39):
Yeah, you must have like constantly, just like on social media.
Speaker 4 (01:04:42):
There's no way, guys, I don't sleep scroll like.
Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
Do you wake up?
Speaker 5 (01:04:46):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
Speaking of Mark Sanchez. Mark Sanchez to face felony charge
just came across Indiana prosecutors had felony battery charge against Sanchez. Also,
Eddie psyche Can predicted it's.
Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
In the article he star.
Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
So you thought you just woke up and started and
felt Mark Sanchez came to you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
I don't think he did just come to me. And
then later in the day I start seeing the news
and Mark Sanchez this is I was like, this is crazy,
this is crazy. I thought about him randomly this morning,
and now all this news is coming out. Why would
I randomly think of Mark Sanchez.
Speaker 1 (01:05:22):
The Jets are playing the Cowboys on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
That possible point. That's weird that a hot dog at
any point?
Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
No, no hot dog?
Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
What's what's the hot dog?
Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
I do wait?
Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
I eat a hot dog on the sideline, Mark Sanchez.
Speaker 4 (01:05:38):
Wasn't it a brute?
Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
It's a hot dog. Don't be racist. Hey, how can
I be racist?
Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
Don't be racist?
Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
Is his name? Sanchez?
Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
Doesn't mean you can go with Burritoka, dude, Mark, all right,
we're done.
Speaker 4 (01:05:50):
Isn't that crazy?
Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
Though?
Speaker 4 (01:05:53):
Don't worry. I don't think you'd believe me. But that's crazy. Okay,
I'm telling you. Something else comes up this morning.
Speaker 3 (01:06:01):
I couldn't stop thinking of Campbell soup.
Speaker 5 (01:06:03):
What like?
Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
I woke up, okay, and everywhere I looked it was
a Cancels Campbell soup. Campbell soup being who we talked
to on the show earlier, j Campbell.
Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
No, it's not funny. It's not funny, it's different. That's
like if you were walking down the street and a
can of Campbell soup hit you in the head. That
would be weird.
Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
I'd be pissed.
Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
Yeah, suit, who's the I can't believe you thought Sanchez
and Rito?
Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
You sure won't Brito.
Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
It was also a football game. What are they gonna
do it?
Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
I don't know, deliver it?
Speaker 3 (01:06:36):
Okay, anything else that we have, Mike, we haven't gotten
to good Yep, we came. Uh you know who had
a big win with Cincinnati this past weekend. Oh, definitely
not the Bengals. You're talking about university. They're a player. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:06:54):
I think we're gonna have coach Saderfield on on the
show Thursday, which is cool. We met him, we went
up since, but then I brought him to the Opry
a few weeks ago before the season started. How many seasons,
I mean weeks we win seven, weeks six.
Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
Week eight, weeks seven for college six.
Speaker 1 (01:07:09):
Okay, so it's been about two and a half months ago.
Speaker 4 (01:07:11):
God, Lee, I know, just like time flies.
Speaker 3 (01:07:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
I think he'll come on with us later on this week.
But they're they're good. The only game they lost was
that early lost to Nebraska in Nebraska Week one.
Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
But they beat Kansas. They beat UCF like they're a player,
and they were beating up on I always stated too
that they yeah, big win. Yeah, they were up like
thirty one seven or something at one point. Yeah, it's crazy.
So we'll have them on all right. That's it. I
hope you guys have a great rest of the day. Eddie,
blow us a whistle. You did that so hard on purpose?
Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
No, No, because you're frustrated, because we don't believe you're
Mark Sanchez.
Speaker 3 (01:07:45):
No, I kind of came to you and he came
to you in a shower.
Speaker 4 (01:07:47):
That kind of pissed me out a little bit, and
I knew you all wouldn't believe me.
Speaker 3 (01:07:51):
But dude, that's crazy. Why do you tell Bobby just
because I.
Speaker 4 (01:07:54):
Was gonna tell him I want to talk about this
on the show, okay?
Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
And I was like, I can't wait for you too.
I'll made it feel all goodbout it. I was like, Yeah,
that'd be really good to talk about, knowing exactly where
we're gonna go with it. Yeah, man, that'd be great.
I'm sure the guys won't give you any grab it
all right in Hey, feel super secure and safe when
you talk about that, Heyace.
