Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Best Bits of the Week with Morgane.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Part one behind a scene with a member of the show.
What's up everybody? Happy weekend? Or should I say Happy
Holidays and Merry Christmas? Because it is time? It is
I'm so excited.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
You already have your stuff up, don't you.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Oh heck, I have to step up the day before Halloween. What?
Oh my gosh. Yeah, I was just excited.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
I need to.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah, I haven't yet, you have a yet. But that
brings an interesting point because I want to talk about
Halloween first though, because did you do anything different for
Halloween this year? Given you're in a newer situation?
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Not really, No, because my boyfriend his he didn't have
the kids this year, So okay, gotcha. So did you
two dress up or do anything fun for Halloween? Oh
my gosh, we really didn't. Like this is the first
year we haven't done anything. We like just walked around
the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Oh, you guys walked around, but you don't have any kids.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
We dressed up, but we just like walked. Yeah, it
just kind of walk and I don't know, check out
all the kids. Yeah, basically it feels weird. We went
to a different neighborhood. We went to twelve South and
it's like cute, so oh, okay his neighborhood. What were
your dressed up as we put on astronaut costumes.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
You say that like so chill, but that's not so
we did it last year.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I don't know. I just feel like this year was
like lame.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Were outfit repeaters.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
For the years Halloween? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Did you bop around bars or anything or just we did?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah? Yeah, we went in and out in bars. The
way I said that at the beginning sounded really crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
I really thought you guys were walking around a neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Around the neighborhood and watched the children. No, we went
to like twelve South and like Emberg's was open any day,
so we just went out of bars.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Okay, that's a lot more than just, you know, typical walk,
So that is cool. You did do nothing for Halloween,
that's true. Yeah, I truly we did nothing. I put
on my dinosaur onesie, my boyfriend put on a cape
that I had from one year, and we handed out
candy the trigger truders.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
That's awesome. Did you have a lot of kids?
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I nearly got rid of all my candy, which is
a first, I think all the kids in my neighborhood
because when I had first moved in several years ago,
there was no kids, and then there were babies, and
now the babies are turning four and five, so it's
like they've now grown, so now I'm starting to have
kids in the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
That's fun.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, So it was really fun. We have one kid
show up that was an inflatable baseball bat and he
couldn't even come on the porn.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
I'm like, that's so cute. What a good idea. That
was Like my favorite part, like is seeing all the costumes.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
It's so cute.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
People are so clever, they really are, but like, how
did I not think of that?
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Let me tell you The best one though, was somebody
came up. Obviously Wicked's huge right now, but somebody came
dressed up their whole family was Wicked, but the little
boy was a tornado, and so they put all this
like white, uh, I don't know what the it's like,
looks like cotton, yeah, and wrapped it all around and
created like put lights in it. So he's like this
little twisty tornado. Kidding me. It was so cuy.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
That's so cute, you know. See, I guess that's why
I was like we were just astronaut because people go
like all out, and I'm like, dang it, why didn't
I Every year? I'm like, I want next year, I'm
gonna go all out.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
But in all fairness, some people don't even dress up,
so at least you did dress up. Yeah, you know
you had something going. Yeah, there was a really cute
kid that was nervous and they were dressed as a dinosaur.
I was like, oh my gosh, a fellow dino, and
the kid got so excited. I was like, heck, yeah,
I won one that is really cute.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, I know. I love Halloween. And then we came
home and just watched scary movies.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
You love scary movies? Yes, say your favorite part of Halloween? Yes?
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Absolutely. There were so many options because usually, you know me, like,
I'd already seen Halloween like ten times in October, and
we didn't watch any scary movies until Halloween. Dang, I know,
I'm not crazy, Who are you a new person? I
know I don't really like it because I love my
scary movies.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
You do, but they're also hard to watch if there's
kids around. And stuff too, So yeah, this has to
be a little bit more careful about what's being on. Yeah,
there's like the kids scary movies on Netflix, but that's
about it.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
I know we watch K Pop Demon Hunters. That's hi,
you go too est with that movie. I'm fine with it. Yeah,
we listened. We were talking about this the other day,
but we listened, like in the car to the soundtrack.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yes, the sound I listened to the car the soundtrack
and I don't have kids and the gym, like, it's
so good. It is a great I love K pop music.
I've always Yeah, I've been a fan of K pop music.
There's Black Pink was one that I've listened to for
a while and bt I wanted to say, BTA that
was not for Kansas, So BTKA is very prevalent in
(04:29):
my life. BTS yes, yeah, So I've listened to both
of them and then loved the movie and I am
obsessed listen. Netflix has been killing with the soundtracks because
not only was K Pop Demon Hunter's bomb, but nobody
wants this soundtrack is also bomb? Is it? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:45):
I haven't watched it yet, but they're the soundtrack's good.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah, they have songs from Chris Stapleton, Ella Langley, they
did one from Selena Gomez, they have front from Alicia Kara,
and they have even songs on there from artists that
they don't know what. I'm obsessed with.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
That's awesome. I love Oh, I remember the first one. Yes,
like the first season. Yeah, I had good music too.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
See. I think Netflix is just killing it with the
soundtracks lately. They're finally bringing it back and it's a
big deal. I feel like they really movies in general
have just not paid attention to the soundtrack. And I'm
such a huge fan of a movie more so if
I really like the music, yeah, attached to it.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
I just want to know how, like the k Pop
the movie, how it became so big? Like how because
I that would never catch my eye. I was like,
K pop Demon Hunters, what is that?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
K pop music? In general? I think, Oh, I get yeah, yeah,
I mean in just that culture, anime culture, k pop,
all of that culture is really massive. They have such
a huge fan base already. So then you take anime,
k pop and like create an animated movie, you know
you're gonna automatically get people who like those things, and
then it becomes this big pop culture moment and everybody
(05:51):
starts watching it. I think it was a combination of
all those things combined, but yeah, it wasn't one. Like
I started to watch it. What's so funny about this?
As I started to watch it when my boyfriend was
still at work, and I was like, I don't think
he's gonna like this. It was like fifteen minutes in
and he gets home and he's like, sits on the couch.
I'm hanging out like watching it, and he's like into it.
(06:13):
We didn't leave the couch to watch the rest of
this movie. And now he listens to the soundtrack just
like I do. Oh my god, we're both obsessed with it.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
That is amazing.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
It's so catchy though, like maybe you know there's a
purpose and really you know, demon is in the soundtrack
and they're taking our souls. That's the whole purpose.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Oh, that's what it is. That's what it Oh my god.
No one that really addicted to it, they're putting something.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Oh my yes, And for anybody who doesn't know, that's
kind of the storyline of the show. It's like they're
demon hunters and they're trying to stop the demons. So
maybe that's what they're trying to do with us in
the real world.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
It's just really good. I love the songs. Yeah, man,
I gotta go listen right after this.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
I love Golden. I saw a lot of people, see
it's so good. I saw a lot of people dressed
up as them too for Halloween.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Really, my boyfriend's kids.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
They were they did it.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
They did them and then he was a demon. That's
the funny, eanniest thing ever. It's so cute.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Sh had like the purple hair, yep. And I saw
so many moms trying to recreate the purple hair and
it was like this whole big ordeal because it's pretty intense,
like combining hair like purple hair with your normal hair
and doing the braid right.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
That's what they did. Yeah, funny man.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
See, I'm you know, I'm with the kids right now.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
You are. Wow, look at that.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
This is such a good movie.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Anybody who says it's not lying, I know it is,
like you you would never think if you're not in
the anime, which I never was, or K pop, And
I'm like, okay, I love it.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
See, And you also don't even really like movies in
general exactly, not really that's an inside joke.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
I'm getting better.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
I like more. Abby doesn't watch a lot of movies.
I should say you don't like them.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Yeah, but now that it's like getting cold out, I'm
better at that. Like sitting on the couch when it
I'd rather just be curled up on the couch when
it's nice, how I want to be outside?
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Are you becoming a little bit of a homebody?
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I think so? Oh yeah, yeah yeah this new season
of life, Yeah, I think I am. I'm more content
with just like sitting there, you know, next to somebody
watching something. It's it's okay to me, and it's more
fun when you're watching with someone. You're like, oh, what's
gonna happen? And you're like, oh, should we watch tonight?
And he's like, oh, I can't, Like I'm going to bed.
I'm like, no, I really want to watch it, so
(08:15):
we don't watch without each other.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
You're what show are you guys watching right now?
Speaker 3 (08:19):
While we're watching? Love Is Blind?
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Funny? I love it?
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Yes, it's just so entertaining.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
It's just crazy. Don't have some trash TV every now
and again? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (08:29):
What else are you watching? We're about to watch Nobody
wants this.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Okay, it's good. I'm all caught up on all of
it now and it's a great show. Really.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Yeah, we watched Weapons.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Okay, scary movie that is a scary like thriller movie.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yes, loved that. Oh okay, I know I'm proud.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Of you because it wasn't you know, maybe a year
and a half ago we were sitting in the same
room doing this podcast and you were saying how you
always had to be doing stuff and you were outgoing
like you a lot because you'd always be wanting to
be out and doing things.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yeah, it's weird.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
You're in a new season of your life.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Look at me, I'm realizing. Yeah, it's you don't have
to be doing something all the time.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
It's inter or Yeah. But also you're just in a
new season of your life too. In general, you have
a lot of new things happening. Yeah, not new in
the sense of like new new, but newer than you
five years ago knew what was going to happen.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
Maybe I'm just always tired and that's why now you're exhausted. No,
but I did go out on a school night, went
to Ernest at the Rhyme in and that was really good.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
How was it?
Speaker 3 (09:36):
It was amazing? Oh my gosh, Like he's so entertaining
and so good, and it's just so country, you know,
because he like had his like vest and boots and
cowboy hat and all his whole band like dresses. Super country.
Very western, yeah, very western.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
Yeah, and I loved it. He did like a Toby
Keith tribute. He brought out like a whole bunch of
songwriters like Billy Dean, he brought out He's singing Dust
on the Bottle, David Lee Murphy.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yep, that was cool.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
It was awesome. He brought out Hardy.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Oh nice, that's fun. Yeah, I know. Was that the Ryman,
which is the Rymonds Always?
Speaker 3 (10:10):
I try not to pass up the Ryman show, you know,
because I don't get to go that much.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yeah, are really good. Yeah, and we were both at
Keith Urban not long ago.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Uh huh. God, he's so good.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
He's my favorite entertainer. Yeah, he really is. I don't
know how he hasn't just won a million awards for
that specifically, but he is so good.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
I know, I don't understand.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
He knows how to work a crowd. He can sing
incredibly while he has a huge catalog. He knows how
to play instruments like crazy. It's like there's no He's
the triple threat when it comes to an entertainer.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
How does he have that much energy? I never see
him drinking water or anything like the whole time. I'm like,
I would need an energy drink because he goes all
out and then he just like walks to the back
and just lets people are like grabbing him like that
kind of annoyed me.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
For him watching him walk to the back. And he
does this every show, every show I've been to him.
I think I've seen Keithurban seven times now in my
entire life, and every single show he does this where
he walks in the crowd and man, just watching people.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Just they like grab his chest just like nothing is
off limits.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
And I get people having their hands out because they're
trying to get him to like touch it and if
they addit, like he walks and they kind of brisk him. Fine,
but man, when you see the hand grab, yeah you
know what I mean, like just full grab full full,
like fingers are out and I'm like, what.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Did you see someone like grab his head and like
try to like hug him. I'm like, he's playing guitar
right now.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Yeah, we're like, what are you doing? Mm hmm. It's
so it's interesting to watch, but yes he is gosh, Like,
anytime I get a chance to go to a show,
I will be there in a heartbeat.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Me too. He's the all time best.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Back in Wichita, when I was probably in middle school,
they did a contest and they had you like make
a music video to like I want to kiss a girl,
I want to kiss a girl, I don't want to
hold her tie yep, and like my mom recorded me
and I like found it the other day and it
is the funny like the worst thing.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Did you win?
Speaker 3 (12:09):
No, I didn't win. I think I was in the
top three, but you win like concert tickets, Okay, I
didn't get it. But you make a music video And
it was me like looking in the mirror, like putting
on makeup and then I walk over and I grab
a guitar like and sing in a mic. It was
actually like creative, but it was it was just funny.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
I feel like you need to post that. I should.
I should. I feel like that's a great throwback. I
really do so.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
But like every time I hear that song, I think
of that moment like it's alias because I tried so hard,
Like it was like a whole theatrical thing.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
You're trying to get tickets. Yeah, back, I remember that.
Like before I ever worked in radio, I would call
I was like one of those people who'd try and
win tickets. I won tickets. One of the years I
did win tickets to Keith Urban. Oh my gosh, you're
on the bowl. Yeah that's so funny.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Yeah, I did like a karaoke contest and I won
three concert tickets.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
See that's Incredible's like just are okay looking? Yes, you like.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
But that's when they did like fun like contests.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Yeah, I mean they prayed you to be really interactive. Yeah.
Now it's more social media driven. Social media is part
of it. It's also funny too because one year when
Keith Mum was in which shot he always brings people
up on stage like one of the somebody in the
audience and some former version.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
And one year he brought my sister up and she
was on stage and with him, how like he just
saw it picked her out.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
We were in the pit area and we just happened
to be right by the stage and he was looking
and I think it was her birthday or somewhere around there,
and we were like pointing at her, and she went
up there and danced and sang with him and that hilarious.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Oh my gosh, that is really cool. Yeah. And then
do you remember after shows they do like the after
concert concert on the radio. Yeah, you would get in,
you could call in. I would always call in be.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Like the concert was awesome.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Yeah, and then I'd hear myself that's so weird. That
was like in middle school.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
No, that was so much fun because you were on
such a high from the concert, and then they're playing
all of their music, yes, and you're listening to all
the songs again and you're still vibing, and then you
call and like give your review of the show or whatever.
That is so crazy.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
It's just very interesting because like when we lived in Kansas,
like concert that was like a big deal, Like they
didn't happen that often. Yeah, you know, or and that
was like a birthday present to me exactly.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
And there wasn't a whole lot of people coming to
town in general. Yeah, like for a famous celebrity or
artist to come to town, like a Tim McGraw or
Keith Urmann was like everybody in town was trying to
go yes.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
And I remember like going to Dylan's you know, it's
like a Kroger whatever grocery store, and you would like
pick out your select tocy like you would pick it
out in front of them. You're like, I want these
right when they go on sale. You're there at ten am.
I remember my mom would go She's like, oh, I
just want PST available. It would get them like win
the day they go on sale, and then the concert
it's like next year yep mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
That's or you would call that was like the next
phase was when you'd call select a se yes and
you'd have to wait on hold or like get in
the line. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
You're like they're like what price range or whatever, and
I'm like, I just want best available.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Or three hundred level. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
That's so weird because like we always talk about how
tickets go on sale, and it's like, well.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Now it's like you just go online. Hey, you know,
kids will never know, they'll never know we are kids. Yeah, okay, forget.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
It's crazy how much it changed.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
It has. It has changed a lot. And I did
go see a comedian and his whole thing is like
talking about this nostalgia. I kind of remember his name
because he was hilarious and I was dying laughing. But
it was about this, like you were talking about all
the past things. Yeah, and you're in a room with
a bunch of people who also had that experience. So
it was funny. Oh that would be It was a
good one. I'll have to remember his name. Okay, We're
gonna take a quick break and we'll be right back.
(15:48):
All right. So we are in the holiday season, very exciting,
and I want to know if you're looking forward to
this year because you're living with your boyfriend, you decorated
for Christmas. Yes, all the exciting things.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
I am looking forward to it. Yeah, it's really weird,
like for us because he's going to be here Christmas
and because his like mom and brother are coming into
town and he's gonna have the kids. But I always
go home for Wichita or Wichita. I always go home
for Christmas Wichita, And I don't know. He's kind of
(16:21):
bummed that I'm not going to be here, and I'm
kind of bummed, but I don't it's like tradition. I
wouldn't be with my family too. It's hard. Yeah, and
that's something that we're gonna have to think about in
the future, you know, and work through.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
So are you going to try and potentially stay here
a little bit and then like maneuver that time a
little differently than before? Yeah? Probably.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Yeah. Yeah, it's just I know, he really wants me
to be here, like Christmas Day, you know, because he
has the kids. He has them every other year and
so he has been Christmas Day this year. But yeah,
so I'm we're trying to navigate that. But yeah, we're
gonna decorate, We're going to do all the things. That's
what's fun about when you know, he has kids, so
we get to do all the like everything.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Ll and like especially at this point in Christmas, celebrating
everything starts happening mid November. Oh yeah, so you can
do things for a whole month long. And I know
it's hard because when it's attached to that specific day,
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, But when you can spend the
entire month doing all kinds of Christmas things, it makes
(17:20):
it a little bit easier for that day to be
more fluctuating. Yes, if that makes sense. I know it's
doesn't feel that way. Especially because you go on social
media and everybody's with their people for the specific day
and they post. But the reality is you have the
entire month to celebrate. However, you can make it work
and get all your things in and it will be
(17:41):
just as special and exciting. So you guys can do
all the things still even though it may not specifically
fall on that one coveted day.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
That's true. Yeah, and it's just crazy because it doesn't.
I don't know, it doesn't feel like Christmas to me.
How can it already be November? You know, I'm very
like thrown off as like, oh, it's time to start
doing like holiday things.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
It is. Listen, I've been ready to do it since
before Halloween. And I know there's haters out there of that,
but I have never decorated for Thanksgiving. And mind you,
what's really interesting is they like stop doing pumpkin stuff
and everything right after October, so pumpkin are part of Thanksgiving,
but there's no longer really any pumpkins. Yeah thet's see
(18:23):
that's weird.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Yeah you so it's like it's associated just Halloween for
pumpkins like jack lamers, and it's like no, It's also
like Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Like even Trader Joe's only does their pumpkin stuff in September.
They're like, gone, there, it's one month and it's September.
It's not even in October November. My god, So how
the heck am I gonna be in the holly jolly
spirit for all the holidays if there's not even like
decorations and options? I know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
And also I just like love, you know, I love
shopping and I love looking at Christmas decorations me too,
But then I'm like, where do I put it? That
it's up a two months and then where do you
put it?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Okay, let me tell you my my situation this year.
So yeah, obviously my boyfriend's living with me now, and
so I am excited. We both really love Christmas, both
like big favorite holiday. And it's funny because I was like,
I want my house to look like Christmas throughout, and
that's very much what I want to look like. And
(19:19):
I've never really wanted to do it by myself because
I've already decorated. I already have my own traditions and
stuff that I would do, and I already did all
of those. But I was like Okay, well you're new,
so like we have to add some new things to
make this different. And so I started. Oh man, we
spent like seven hours shopping the other day. We just
went to all different kinds of stores and I was
just looking at all the different Christmas decorations, seeing what's
(19:39):
out there, what's available, new ideas I could do, And
we did come up with doing a Harry Potter tree.
Oh cute, and it's I love that amazing. We're obsessed
with it. And now I'm like on the hunt always
for Harry Potter ornaments. I found a bunch.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Is that your main tree like a your big tree,
or you're doing like a little side.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
It's a size. So currently in my living room there's
two Christmas trees. There's one out on the deck and
there's one in the bedroom. Nice that's true. Yeah, yeah,
we weigh a little all out. But one of the
the one on the deck is his that we added
lights to. The one up in my room is my
old one from my apartment that I've I've had and
(20:18):
I've always kind of done that tree. But the one
in the main one is still the one I've done.
We just added he had a few ornaments to add
and uh, we like added a few little new details
to it. But the main new one for both of
us is the Harry Potter tree.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
That's cute. So you're gonna have a different one every year,
like no theme or just you and just.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Continue to evolve. Harry Potter.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
That's cute. I love that. But that's fun to do
different trees.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Oh, it was so much fun to decorate. And now
but now I'm like, okay, now I want to add on.
How can I add? And I went a little crazy
buying different things, so I've gone and now I have
even have candy cane knobs and pose on my accounts.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Oh my gosh, I got those two. I got the
jingle bells. Do you put on door knobs when you
open the door at jingles?
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Okay, that's gonna be annoying, bad weekend, not gonna lie.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
Well, I'll put it on one that's not used very
much so I can just look pretty.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Yeah, stay there.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Uh, because that will be a lot and like every
time somebody goes to the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
That's what I originally was gonna do, was Reese with
bells that had them on all my cabinets. And then
I got annoyed already. I did like one and I
was over it. So then I turned them into little presents.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Oh that's cute.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Yes, And then I put candy cane knobs on all
the little knobbies. They're like knob covers. I don't know.
I was seen on Chark Tank. I've got out a
little bit too hard. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Yeah, I don't know if we're gonna go that hard
this year because we're still with his house my house.
I'm trying to get rid of stuff, so like buying
more stuff right now, it's a lot.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Are you working to get rid of your house or
have you made a decision on any of that.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
I'm gonna rent it out.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Okay, yeah, but so you could leave a bunch of
your furniture. It's just getting rid of all your personal stuff, right.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
That's true. Yeah, well I got you mean, like furnished
if I rented it.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Yeah, you can rent it furnished if you just didn't
want to deal with getting rid of your furniture.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
I know, Yeah, I just need some of it. I've
just had forever that it just needs to go, you know,
Like I have an old futon that was my first
like couch when I moved here because I didn't know
if I was gonna stay. I was just getting like temporary,
like I got a small table and then a futon
and I still have it living like.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
A little college girl.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Basically, it's been like in the office in my house
and I'm just like, do I really need this still?
Speaker 2 (22:31):
So yeah, well, at least the things that you want
to keep, you could and offer it up. Otherwise you
could put it into storage unit. Yeah, if you wanted
to keep it or just sell it all that's true.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
But yeah, he loves getting a real treees. He tried
last year to do it, just the artificial kind, which
I like, I think they're pretty, but he was like,
I can't do it, and he took it down. He
had to get it. He was like he's just always
had that tradition, like the smell and just having a
real tree. So okay, So see here's my thing on
real tree versus artificial tree.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
One. I love the economy friendly, you know, good for
the environment, good for me to have my artificial tree,
and I use it for ten years.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Yeah, not cutting down a tree every y.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yes, And I never get in pre lit because so
then that's where the trade off is right, because I'm
buying lights every year, but I never get a pre
lit So then those trees last for like ten fifteen years,
which is awesome. And also I can't because one year
growing up we had a real tree. It was the
last year we ever had a real tree. We had
(23:33):
a cat name Si, and she thought the tree was
her personal climbing tree, so she jumped up on it
one day towards the top and then the whole thing
came crashing down.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Oh, oh my gosh, this is kind of like Christmas
vacation very much. Hopefully didn't end.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
That no fires, thankfully there was no fires around, but
broke a bunch of the ornaments. Still to this day
my parents they were called snow babies. Do you ever
know this? No baby ornaments snow Maybe I've seen them
very popular thing back in I would say nineties, early
two thousands, and my mom still has them, but some
(24:10):
very small pieces you can tell that got like a
tip broken off and they were glued back together in
this whole incident.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
It's called snow babies.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Snow babies like those snow babies. Yep?
Speaker 3 (24:21):
Why did I never We never heard those?
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Yeah, they were very popular back in the day. I
don't know that they most places even do them now,
or if they're the same, they've changed quality over the years.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
But I've never seen those.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
You've never seen snow babies. No, look at that one.
I that. Yeah, and the ones that we have, but
they're just all white. Now they've obviously evolved to include
some color on them.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Wow, I can't believe it.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Yeah, snow babies. And yeah, but some of the snow
babies have some damage from that one incident. Oh yeah,
So we don't do real trees in my house ever
since that moment, I've had artificial tree my entire life.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
And then obviously I have a cat now. So when
I bought one, even before I had Hazel, I went
with the intention of, like, there's probably gonna be a
cat in my life someday, let's probably not do real trees.
And I hate bugs. I don't even like how many
plants in my house.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
I don't want to talk about bugs. Wait, no, ignorance
is bliss. I don't want to know. I scroll past
those videos where they show I don't want to know.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yeah, lots of things can burrow in trees. Do bugs?
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Why why did you do that?
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Unlocked, I'm telling you why I do artificial trees. No, no,
lots of reasons, and bugs are really the main culprit
more than anything else.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
But they smell so good. The trees smell delicious.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
You could put a fake evergreen scent. You could put
like things in a paw on your oven every day
and make the smell. There's fake everything.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
Now you don't like vacuuming off the pine needles, there's
another fun part of the Yeah they fall, No, no, no,
the real ones. I was kidding, because that is that's
another that's a con of a real tree, because like
once it starts dying, there's like pine needles everywhere.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah, there is. You need to water, can't forget to
Mine would die in a week. I can't keep plants
alive to save my life, the same I have tried.
I have tried to baby these things and move them
to the certain sunlight that they need. And I swear
it's like my house is a grave yard for plants.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Yeah, I just google, like most the easiest ones, like
the least amount of care that they need.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
I get those, And what are those?
Speaker 3 (26:44):
I think? Like the snake plant?
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Okay, I killed it. Please please give me other succulents.
I had suculents, also killed both.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
How do you kill succulents? I don't know those like
are those are invincible?
Speaker 2 (26:58):
I don't know, man, I don't know. You know what
I have kept alive. My sister gave it to me
when she asked me to be her maid of honors,
in my little like package she gave me. And they're
these little mossballs. What are they? They're little mossballs.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
Mossball?
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Okay, does it sound like a mothball?
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Mothball?
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Mossball? So it's like a little green covered ball, essentially,
and you have it in this little jar and it
floats on the top of water. So it's really funny.
Is mine's still alive because it's still green. But I
went to my sister's house when she had her baby
a few months ago. I was looking at her mossball
that she got at the same time. This thing's huge.
It's grown like five inches, you know, which is a
lot for this little mothball. And mine hasn't grown at all.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
So you haven't opened it. You don't do anything.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
It just I change out its water every month. But
apparently that's still not enough for it to grow.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Is it getting sunlight?
Speaker 2 (27:47):
I don't know. My house is really weird location for
different sunlight, so yeah, that might be in more than anything.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Find out sunlight spot. You can't even make keep a moss.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
I can't alive. I can't, but you know what, I
can keep pets alive, So.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
That's most important.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
I know.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
We can't all be green thumb.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
It was. It was really funny because my boyfriend when
he moved in, he had a bunch of plants that
he brought with him because he loves plants. Yeah, and no,
surprisingly his are still alive, but they had to go
outside because we were figuring out a bunch of like
where to put things, and some of them were toxic
to hazel, so we had to be careful about what
(28:28):
was inside the house. So we like put him outside
and they all started to thrive and they're all seemed
to be doing well. But he's worried they're all going
to die over the winter. And I was like, well
they now have bugs. I know.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
See that's the thing. No, I'm with you on that one.
I want to put like the front porch ones. I
want to bring them in, but I'm like, no, there's
bugs and this is their home now exactly. But I
love them, but I can't bring them in, so then
they die exactly well.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
And this is why my dad, in his garage he
puts we call it his little weed plant, but it's not.
It's like this little tint that he brings all with
outdoor plants inside and puts them in there like a
little greenhouse. But we jokingly call it his weed tint
because it looks like that, like straight up, that's what
it looks like. But where does he keep it? In
the garage garage? And then they live, Yeah, because he
(29:14):
puts heat lamps and stuff on everything. It's I'm telling you,
it's like a little operation. It is happening in there.
But so my dad's like do that, And my dad,
I have a one car garage. I don't have room
for that. That one car garage is holding most of
my storage, so I don't have room for my own
little weed tint.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
I know that's dedication there, that actually is I.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
Could do that. If you guys have space for in
your garage, you could create your little area.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
Yeah I should do that. Yeah, I don't want to
throw my plants away.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
Don't throw them away.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Don't be like me. They all die at my house.
Get a heat lamp for inside. They just need light,
I think, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
They do need light, they need heat, and they need
to not be out in the cold.
Speaker 3 (29:54):
They need all the things that you're not providing inside.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
No.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
My is like, well we can, we can give away
all like marketplace to like give them another life. And
I'm like, yeah, but that's so sad. I don't want
to give away your plants. You feel like it's fine.
Can you watch it for me? Just keep it alive
over the winter and I'll get it back. Looking for
storage for plants, Yeah, it'll be like, man, I'm just
get like a storaging now. I want to pay for that.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Yeah, the storageing just for a plant. Oh my gosh,
that would be hilarious.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
I would never but yeah, that's just going on in
my house right now.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
Oh that's so fun. I love it. So one day
I'm gonna go all out. I want like ten trees
and everywhere in every room this year.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
I think you should do it. Okay, Yeah it's your guys. Wait,
you were living together last Christmas. Yeah, I know you
haven't shared on the show until this year. But were
you guys living together last Christmas? Yeah? Yeah, right, huh
did I make that up in my head?
Speaker 3 (30:47):
But I just didn't get much stuff out. I don't
know last year. I don't know what happens Newish. Yeah
maybe right around that time it was Newish?
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Am I making that up? My god?
Speaker 3 (30:56):
You know, I think I know it is my timeline?
Speaker 2 (30:58):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (30:59):
No? We definitely okay?
Speaker 2 (31:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Yeah, yes, okay, I just get confused at what I say,
what i've Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Yeah, you shared on the show this year. You shared
it like this summer. No, we were hey, yeah, okay.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
I just had all my stuff at my house. I
didn't want to like lug it all the way over
to his.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
Well, now you have plenty of time, Yes, I do.
You're gotta get on all over Yeah, I mean we're
the beginning of November.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
I lug this.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
Yeah we are.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Anything else to add for Christmas holiday stuff before we
jump to a break? No?
Speaker 3 (31:28):
Even good?
Speaker 2 (31:29):
You feel good? Yeah? I do.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
I'm excited. You got me really excited because I was
still kind of in my like pumpkin spice pace.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
You can here's the thing. There are no rules. I'm
still making pumpkin stuff. Yeah, while having my Christmas decorations.
I'm still having big Thanksgiving when my family's in town.
I'm just decorated for the holidays. Yeah, it's all together
as one. For me, I still celebrate Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
It is. I think it just confuses me. You're like
eating a turkey and like stuffing, and then you got
the Christmas tree. I'm just like Christmas or Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
It's the vibes because otherwise there's no decorations, and then
there's no vibes, you know. Yeah that's true unless you
want like a giant turkey head on your wall, and
that feels weird.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
Just like leaves and pumpkins.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
A giant turkey head. That's what Thanksgiving is. All Right,
We're gonna take a quick break. We'll be right back.
All right. I got a really good sign, and I
want you to think if you've had any signs in
your life recently that maybe you just haven't thought of
until this moment. But I was finishing painting my front door,
(32:38):
which has been a project all in itself, standing, staining, restaining,
putting coat in. Oh yeah, that's a lot. It has
been a not fun job, but I am happy to
say it's finally completed and my life is returning back
to normal. Yay. But when I was doing the finishing
touches on this coat, I got swarmed by lady bugs.
(33:01):
I had at one point ten different ladybugs that had
landed on me, And I was standing there like what
is happening and what does this mean? And so I
looked it up. What do you think ten ladybugs landing
on somebody means.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
You're about to have good luck? Oh, a big thing
of good luck?
Speaker 2 (33:20):
You're right?
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Really, I know they're good luck.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Okay, And I love a ladybug, but like just bugs
in general gross me out. So I was a little like, Okay,
what's happening. There's a lot of ladybugs. But it's a
sign of good luck or good fortune to come. Like
the symbol of it also represents protection, love, prosperity, or
the start of a new positive phase in your life.
It can also signify that your wishes will come true
(33:44):
or that your hardships will be lifted.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Oh my gosh, I love this.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
I hate this for myself though, because why because I'm
not kidding. I've been finding like dead ladybugs everywhere, and
I'm like, what's happening? I love ladybugs? What and they're
just like in the groag Okay.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
So obviously also ladybug. That's something happening with the reduction
of ladybugs right now, clearly. Okay, Oh my gosh, let
me see what does ned lady bugs?
Speaker 1 (34:12):
No?
Speaker 2 (34:12):
I mean.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
I don't want them to die.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Okay, okay, okay, here we go. Finding dead ladybugs can
mean that a cycle is ending, symbolizing rebirth and change.
You are in a new season of change. We just
talked about that, or could simply be the result of
them over wintering in your house and dying from old age,
or the inability to escape in the spring.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
They're dying of old age. They lived a long, happy,
great life and true bring is coming.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Spiritually, it can symbolize the end of a cycle or
the need to forgive yourself and move on.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Oh my gosh, for Abby, forgive yourself for everything you've
done and move on.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Do you have anything you need to forgive yourself.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
For not just being dumb in the past. First of all,
you're not dumb dating dumb people. Okay, you know, I
don't know, You're not dumb too.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
None of your decisions are technically dumb because they led
you to where you are now. That's yeah, okay, accurate,
But you can forgive yourself for not trusting yourself to
make good decisions all the time. It's probably the more
accurate way if she should say that, and not the
fact that you're dumb because you're not doing dumb things sometimes. Okay,
(35:25):
ye fair. So that's what we're working on, forgiving ourselves.
That's what you're in.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Yeah, you know, what I want to work on is
how to make a decision easily. I struggle with that
so much. I don't know why I've always been that way.
It's so annoying.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Give me examples, Oh my gratuation.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
I mean, it can just be the most simple thing,
like do you want to go to this restaurant or
this restaurant? Oh my god, I don't know. I don't know.
Do you think I should? And then like even going
to the earnest concert, like I was like, oh, should
we go? Or oh I need probably should stay home
and work, like we're gonna get home late, but I
really want to go. But what if you know, it's
just like a never ending thing in my head. It's like,
(36:05):
why can you not just like easily make a decision.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
You're an overthinker. Yeah, correct, So you're over analyzing a
lot of things. You have to, I would imagine, start
putting yourself more in the present moment. Are you good
at doing that? Do you know how to like bring
yourself to a present moment? Yeah? Do you feel like
when you're actually no.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
No, no no no no no no no. I'm better
at like what if? Like I'm always like what if
this happens? What if I choose this? Then this is
gonna happen?
Speaker 2 (36:35):
Worst case scenario? Person? Yes, you have you ever done
the anxiety? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (36:42):
I forget what mine is?
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Are you a six?
Speaker 3 (36:44):
I don't think so. I thought it was like a
one or two?
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Okay, so two is the helper you just throwout like five,
So okay, we're not going to die.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
Helper helper one?
Speaker 2 (36:53):
You are a helper. That's number two.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Okay I should redo it.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
Yeah, you should probably redo it this phase of your life.
But yeah, I would say, like, something that I've realized
about my life, and if I can speak from my
experience to maybe help you with yours, is that I
really struggled with always being in the past or in
the future. I was ever thinking about yesterday and something
(37:19):
that happened, or I was always thinking about what's to
come or what I need to get done or what's happening.
And I was really bad about keeping myself in this
here and now moment. And today is the day I'm
focusing on. And I've had to really like buckle down
and do that because a lot of my health stuff
is related to a lot of stress that I've allowed
my body to kind of be under because I don't
(37:41):
handle my body doesn't handle stress well, and I give
my body a lot of stress all the time, Like
I hurry things all the time. I fit stuff in
throughout my day like so jam packed, so I don't
have any time to breathe. I'm very notorious for that.
So I've had to really start pulling back and learning
to say no to things, learning to say, hey, you
(38:05):
know what about this day instead, and trying to create
a day for me that isn't full of stressful factors
so then I can then experience the day in a
little bit more of a present headspace of like, this
is all I have to get done today. I have
three things that have to be done today and then
the rest of the day is mine and I can
live it how I need to live it. And it
(38:27):
took me a really long time. It's still something that
I'm working on. Honestly. There's still days that I get
caught up in my cycle and I'll be like, I
don't know what's happening. I even had like a freak
out the other day because we had had so many
moments of like that. We had ordered a projector screen
and it took seven tries to finally get one that
wasn't dented. And then I got this Christmas tree and
(38:48):
when we opened it up, it was all the wrong
pieces and I just was like everything felt like everything
that could go wrong was going wrong. It was one
of those days, one of those weeks really, and I
had to literally like my boyfriend sat me down and
he looked at me. He said, Morgan, Remy and Hazel
are doing really well right now, and I was like,
yeah they are. And He's like, isn't that really all
(39:09):
that matters right now? And I was like, no, it is, honestly, yes,
Like all the rest of this doesn't matter. Everything that
I'm freaking out about, everything I'm spiraling about it doesn't
actually matter. Yeah, and like took me back to here
right now, to this day. And I feel like that's
what helps a lot of us not do this where
(39:29):
you're overthinking, over analyzing. It's just like here and now,
what do I want to do right now? Yeah, So
like when you go to a restaurant, what do you
want to do right now in that moment? What sounds
good soup? Okay, this one's probably gonna have it.
Speaker 3 (39:41):
I know, it's so annoying.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
You have to actively do that, though, yeah you do.
It's not something I'm afraid that, Like, you know, I
can just be like, yeah, here's all these things. You
have to like actively choose to not do that.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
Uh huh. I mean I've always been this way. My
grandpa used to be like, I mean, just make it
as and don't look back, because I would make one
and then I'd be like, oh, wait, was that the
right one?
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Shoot?
Speaker 3 (40:04):
Wait, wait, I don't know, I don't know if that
was right. Maybe I should switch. I'm me just move forward.
And it's like that is such a small thing. It
is a dinner decision like that is in the grand
scheme of things. That is the smallest decision ever, but
for some reason, it just feels so like heavy. Every
decision I make just feels.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Like, why do you feel like it feels heavy?
Speaker 3 (40:26):
I don't know. Maybe I mean dinner might be a
little extreme, but like if there's two things happen, two
events happening at once, you know, I don't know, or something.
Do you describe or think of like an exact moment
where I'm like, oh my gosh, what do I do?
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Do you feel like it has any attachment to what
people might think? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Probably, yeah. I would say, Okay, we're in therapy right.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Now, we're in a deep We don't have to stay
in therapy ever. Thinks we could talk about even get
on this. You said it was something you're wanting to change.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Oh yeah, yeah yeah. Decision making just becoming more like quick.
Speaker 2 (41:06):
I think you can, but you have to actively choose it.
Anything in life it feels like, is you have to
actively choose to make a change, to do something different.
You have to genuinely be like it's like looking at
all my diet stuff, like five years ago, I'd been like,
you can't do that, there's no possibility of that happening.
But one day I woke up and I said, no,
(41:27):
I have to and it did you know what I mean? Like,
but you have to like turn that switch to say
I'm going to do differently mm hmm. So that's true,
But that's up to you if you want to. You
don't ever have to. You can just keep contemplating different restaurants.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
No, I'd love to not be an overthinker. It's actually yeah,
it's the worst.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
It's not the worst. There's much worse things in life,
as I've learned.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
True, that's true.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
So but if it's something you want to work on, yeah,
you can. You're capable of it.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
Yeah, you just have to be You definitely do have
to reactive and just be Okay in this moment, it's
not a big deal. Just pick one and go like,
that's what I need to start putting, you know, just
getting through my head.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Yeah, and you can. I believe this can happen. Okay.
I want to end with something that we're both currently
obsessed with. It can be anything. And the reason I'm
bringing this to you speaking of my diet and cleanse,
I've obviously I'm gluten free and I can I can't
eat dairy and stuff, so I've been trying to find
just my new way of life and I'm obsessed. There's
(42:28):
these Sta chips that are Mexican street corn tortilla chips
and they taste like cool ranch toritos. Oh my god,
and they're my favorite thing ever. Oh that sounds so
good right now. I won't say that they're healthy, because
it's still like it's a snack item and you're eating chips.
Those not necessarily the best whole food for you in general,
but it's my good like option when I need a
(42:50):
little chip and I can't have the other chips and
tastes like a cool ranch to rito.
Speaker 3 (42:55):
Oh my god, that's well. I love cool Ranch. I
love white cheddar and cheddar and general every.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
White cheddar, chedar ter everything.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
But does sound good. I didn't know they had like
different flavors for a.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Bunch of different flavors. Big fan of shopping at Sprouts.
That's where I've been going liately. That's really been helping
me through a mile yeah experiencely because I can find
different options. It's hard to find other options that used
to be a Kroger or public shopper, and no I
can't so really, Oh, you can find options. It's just harder.
It's harder to find clean ingredients and clean things. Sprouts
(43:29):
is a little bit easier. It's supposed to be this
like Farmer's Market vibe in them. But yeah, they have
has a bunch. I even bought some cinnamon ones cinnamon.
They kind of taste like cinnamon twist from taco bell.
Oh that sounds good that we're also seatta.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
Oh my gosh. So I have an obsession that I've
been obsessed with lately. It's food, too, Okay. It is
Granny Smith apples, okay, dipped in almond butter. Yeah, and
then you add some vanilla yogurt and it just tastes
like the most it's like whipped cream. It tastes like
whipped cream kind of okay, like a healthy version. Yeah,
and it's just like the most delicious thing ever that combo.
(44:08):
I don't know why, so almond butter with Greek yogurt
and just kind of what I do is I just
cut up the apple in slices and then I just
put like a dollup a spoonful of the butter, the
almond butter, and then a spoonful of the vanilla, and
I just kind of like dip each one, okay, back
and forth, or you can dip one and then dip
(44:29):
a little the other. I don't know why. It's just
such a good like dessert looks healthy.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
I have a way for you to make this even
a step up. Okay, so almond butter, put in a bowl,
heat it up so it's a little bit more melty.
Add the Greek yogurt to it, because you get it
all mixed in really good together. And then dip your
apple kind of like a chocolate covered apple in this
like cover it. Put them on parchment paper on a pan,
and put them in the freezer or fridge. Probably fridge
(44:55):
is probably better with apples in the fridge for like
twenty minutes. Oh my god, my mind is blown. I'm
so excited. And then you have it, almond butter, greek
yogurt covered apple. That's so cute. What a good idea. Yeah, no,
it's your idea.
Speaker 3 (45:11):
So it's such a good idea.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
It's just like taking it like another step further. Oh
my gosh, yeah, wow wow. And then you could always
prep them early so you can always have them, and
it'd probably preserve them a little bit because the apples
are covered. You probably could do that like one day
in advance, though, because apples just go bad so quickly.
I don't know if being covered, i'd have to play
with it.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
But oh my gosh, I need to try that.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
Wow, like you should.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
I'm like kind of obsessed. I have it every day.
Like it was like nine thirty the other night and
I was like, I need app I need that right now,
and I like went to the store.
Speaker 2 (45:41):
I was like, ap buty you were you went to
the store for it, because you did it.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
I just I had to have it. The craving was
so I don't know, but that's a good snack.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
That's a good little balance that you got protein in there,
you got a fruit, you got some little butter stuff.
I know.
Speaker 3 (45:55):
Yeah, it's like it is a really good Okay, Wow,
that's such a good that's cute too. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
I don't know if it'll turn out cute well, but
I feel like, I mean, I love I love covered
apples of different kinds, and I feel like you could
easily make that a covered apple situation. Great idea, and
then you can always add like toppings to it before
you put it in the thing, Like you could put
a little broken up nuts on it or a little
like toffee bits to like really spice it up. But
(46:22):
oh wow, this is awesome. I do thank you something
to try. I could be totally wrong, that could go
really wrong.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
No, I think it's a great idea.
Speaker 2 (46:30):
