Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Best Bits of the Week with Morgan, Part one,
Behind a Thing with a member of the show Habby weekend. Everybody,
Abby is joining me this weekend for part one. What's
up Abby?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Boy? Do we have some fun things to talk about?
Because the last time you were on Best Bits you
were a girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
I was this time on Bets Best Bits, you are
a fiance. That is so crazy. I still am not
used to saying it, like I'll be like, this is
my boyfriend? Oh shoot, Waitance, does he like correct you?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Is he really good about saying it? Yeah? He is,
maybe well, but he's also been living with it for
a while, for however long he's planning to propose, He's
been like, in his head already identified with it. So
you got to take that same amount of time to
catch up till now.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
It's just such like a fancy word. It's just I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Beyonce. Beyonce, do you keep staring at your finger all
the time?
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yes, I cannot stop. It's so pretty especial because I
don't even like own a diamond, you know, yeah, my
first diamond. I don't really wear rings, so I just
looked down. I'm like, oh my gosh, you're beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Okay, so we need I want to hear all about it.
First of all, did you have any input? What was
like the lead up to the engagement?
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Okay, So for probably like two months ago, I would
say he was like, you want to go look at
rings because I have no idea like what you would want.
And I'm like, I mean neither. I've never looked. I've
never thought about it. I don't even know what the
cuts are, you know, like they're like emerald and pair
shaped and all that. I had no idea what that was.
So we went into look. I was very overwhelmed, you know,
and I was like, oh my gosh, they're all pretty, Like,
(01:31):
how are you supposed to pick? I'll be happy with
any of these? And so I could never narrow it down.
And then we went another time, and then another time.
So we went three times to three different places, and
the last experience was like the best that I was like,
oh my gosh, these are like super nice. I love them.
But I was down to three different rings. I knew
I wanted an oval shaped, okay, and then not just
(01:55):
like a plain band with diamonds around it that would
make it look kind of different, but I was down
to three choices, and then after that I was like,
oh my gosh, you pick like I I don't.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Know, Sorry, give me overwhelmed.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, I was just very and I'm so indecisive, so
it's just, oh my gosh, all the options was stressing
me out. So and did he have any idea of
what he wanted to give you or was he just
kind of watching and seeing how you were taking everything in? Yeah?
He was kind of me like he I'd always be like,
do you like this, and He's like, oh yeah, kinda
oh no, And then I was like, oh wait, this
(02:28):
is like mine. You know, sometimes I get so caught
up in like what are other people's opinions, But I'm like,
at the end of the day, like I'm gonna be
wearing this, so I guess I need to like do
it myself. I'm used to people helping me decide things.
I was like, no, Abby, pick wich you like and
what like feels right? And it's funny because there was
one that we tried on that he really loved and
it was just like all these different ovals just kind
of the same, just smaller sizes, and I didn't really
(02:51):
like that one. But he's like, oh my gosh, I
love that, And I was like, oh my god, what
if that's the one. I mean, I'd still be fine
with it, but you know, I'm glad he picked the
right one.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Well, and it's hard too, because it's one thing you
both obviously have your own taste, but then the ring
is supposed to be this identifier of your love, so
like he buys it with you in mind, and also
with what you like, because you went and looked at
rings for a reason to like have the preferences and stuff.
So you're kind of tying all things together to find
(03:20):
that one ring that adds it all.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Up and is like this is complete, yes, And I
remember it was just I was getting like hot in there.
They need just the pressure, it's so bright. And then
you have the salesperson like, so what do you think
do you like this one? I'm like, well, of course
I love it, but I don't know if I love
it that much. Like, and then you walk around the
case and there's just like a whole nother section of
ones that you can pick, and I'm like, oh man,
(03:44):
how are you supposed to know? But luckily you narrowed
it down well and It.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Makes me think of that scene you've seen Sweet Home Alabama,
right that movie at the very beginning when she is
getting proposed to and he just takes her into a
ring shop at Tiffany's or somewhere in New York and
it just turns on the lights and he's like, pick one,
oh okay, and that's how he proposes. He proposes there,
like proposes to her, and then he's like, okay for
the ring, choose one.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Just pick one?
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Is that great?
Speaker 2 (04:09):
No price limit or any wild that is?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
So how do you feel about the ring now?
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Though?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
You say you picked the right one?
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (04:18):
So you did good?
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Love it?
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Love it so much.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
And it is the oval, and you've got other diamonds
on it.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
So there's seven total, which seven is my looking number,
so that's kind of funny, but it's oval. And then
there's two round small round ones on each side of
the oval, and then an emerald shaped which is kind
of like on its side, and then it points it's
like pointed on each side, okay, which I didn't know. No,
that's Marquee. Sorry not, I said, Marquee is market the
actual diamond shape, So that's it's it's the one that's
(04:48):
an oval but it's pointed right.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Okay, so I said emerald like, I don't even know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Still, I think emerald cut is when they're a rectangle.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
That's right. See, Oh my god, I knew I didn't
want that, so I I guess it just never. I
tried a few on but I was just like, it
just doesn't look right.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Okay, But you found the one you loved. Yeah, I
love it. Did you have any inclination before the day
of when things started to kind of come into place,
any inclination this was happening coming right around that time.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Not really, No, I really didn't.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Obviously knew you guys were going to get engaged because
you were looking at rings. That was the hope, that
was the plan.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, but I thought it would be like next year.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
You did not think it was going to happen this year.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
No, huh, Because I guess I just didn't think he
would do it like during the holidays. I don't know
why I thought that. I guess I just thought he
was like super busy with things.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
I don't know, he was super busy with things.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
So one thing in particular, Yeah, and it was really
weird because some random times, like he'll just be like,
let's go out to eat and then we can maybe
go to karaoke after, Like he just kind of like
has a spontaneous something planned, and so I thought this
was that too, because he was like, if you feel
like a week ago was in karaoke. So it kind
of threw me off that he was just it was
just another random night.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah, okay, so and it was random. When at what
point did you realize it was no longer random?
Speaker 2 (06:06):
So when we were walking along that sidewalk because I
had first met him on the corner of that street.
We met on an app and I remember seeing him
there for the first time, and when my mom was
in town, I was like, that's where I met him.
I saw him for the first time, and it was
just kind of like different, Like I remember being like
super excited when I saw him, and it just like
(06:27):
I felt instantly safe. It's just like a weird thing
that usually like first dates, you know, blind date, you're
like it's either like gonna have it, yeah, but this one,
I don't know. I just felt like he was just
super like gentle and sweet right when I met him,
and so I just kind of always like remember that
moment when we walked by there, and so that's where
we were walking towards this time, and then he pulled
(06:47):
me off to the side, and I thought it was
just like hugging me, and I was like, oh, this
is weird, and I like didn't want to let go
because I was like, wait, what is happening, Like I
don't know what's going on. And then I started like
freaking out and I was like no, he's not no.
And then that's when like he was like, so this
we made so many memories, like I want to spend
you know, forever making more, and I was like, oh shoot, oh.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
My gosh, and it's happening yeah, and then they're going everywhere, yes,
and then like I don't like being like watched by
people on things like that socially like PDA, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
And so there was like a couple coming towards us,
and then a group of girls that were coming towards us,
and so he got down on one knee and then
they were behind him, and I was like, no, people
were watching. But then I like tune that out and
then he asked me, and then that couple was like
oh my gosh, can we get your picture? So before
he even put the ring on my hand, they like
we just stood up real quick, and then I was like,
I don't know what to do. And then he got
(07:40):
back down on the knee just for the picture and
then they took that and it was really it was sweet,
but it was just a lot going on because yeah,
and I was shaking, like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Did he give you his insight on why he chose
that spot, like his thought process behind anything. Yeah, Because
so I.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Told him he was like, you know, if I were
to propose to you, like what do you want? Like,
I don't need a whole elaborate thing. I was just
like at the beach and thoughtful. But I mean, it's
it's hard to get to the beach. We've already had
like our vacations. We're not going to be at the
beach probably till later next year. So I guess that
wasn't a thing. And so he was like thoughtful. He
(08:19):
remembers like when I told my mom that that, I
was like, that's where I saw him for the first time,
and so he thought, I guess that would be, you know,
something special to always remember walking by there in twelve South.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
It's the moment, it's the place.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Yeah, it was super simple, but yeah it was really cute.
He had like roses in his.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Car after so, and then you guys went out to dinner.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
M went out to eat.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Yeah, same place you had your first date.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Different yes, yeah, yeah it was so the place that
we went into first is not there anymore. But then
we went to this place after Okay, so yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
So really like recreating your first date basically. Yeah, that's cute. Yeah,
it was really fun. And how are the kiddos responding?
Are they so excited?
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Yes, his daughter is really excited. She's a little older,
so she understands more. And she was like, oh my gosh,
does that mean I have another mom? Like it was
really cute. And then she's excited, like what to wear
at the wedding and she like loved, you know, the ring,
Like she's like, oh my gosh, it's so sparkly. So yeah,
it's it's really cute.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Okay, but how are your feelings now? Are you so?
I mean, I assume so excited, but like you're going
to be a stepmom, you're living this is before there
was a lot of anxiety getting rid of your house.
There was all these emotions tied to a lot of that,
so like where are you at now?
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah, it still is a lot, and it's it's weird
when people are like, oh my gosh, you're got me
a stepmom and I'm like, wow, that is crazy. But
I mean I've been around them for you know, almost
two years now, and it just they feel like home.
Like I think it's easier when they're younger like they are,
because you're just you're kind of there, your their friend,
and it's just easy. It's not like you have to
(09:54):
worry about a teenager that's like, oh I don't want
this new woman coming in, you know. Yeah, It's kind
of like I'm getting to know them as they get older,
and I think that that makes it better. We're still
with the house, still have my house, so I'm probably
going to rent it out, like I said, But it's
just been I've had so much happening. It's hard for
me to get because he's like across Nashville like we are.
(10:17):
It's completely opposite where he lives and where my current
house is, so it's like a forty five minute drive.
So it's just a lot for me to get over
there and like just pack boxes by myself, Like, you know,
I want to spend time with him and the kids,
so it's just hard for me to make time to
do that. But I'm slowly going over and packing boxes
of stuff I want to keep, you know. Yeah, so
(10:37):
after the holidays, I'm going to start doing a goal,
you know, like go over twice a week, pack two
boxes a day so that I can get things.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
And then you can rent it out and you'll be
completely moved in, right or are you already completely moved
in and you just yeah, are stuff that's over there? Right?
Speaker 2 (10:53):
It's just like stuff. It's like my couch and my
bed and my guest bed and you know, my desk
and just most of like everything that I need for
everyday life is at his house. I just had to
figure out where I can store. I'll probably get maybe
a storage unit or something where I can store all
that until we figure out what is what's next.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
That's a storage room trap. I'm just I'm just.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Worrying you because just like it just stays in there.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
It does like my family had one for so many
years and ended up getting broken into, and I think
we finally got rid of it. It was like, this
is this stuff is just sitting here for what reason?
Right now?
Speaker 2 (11:26):
That is true.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
You do and it becomes more stuff. You accumulate more stuff.
And it was funny because when my boyfriend had moved in, originally,
I like was so excited, but I was also nervous
and I didn't know, you know, where everything was gonna go.
And I, because of my past relationships, I was very
cautious and I was like, put your stuff in a
storage unit. That makes me feel better. So at least
(11:49):
you're not like giving up your entire life. And let's
see how this goes. And it was like three months
in and I'm finally get rid of your storage. It's fine,
We're great.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
No, that's smart though to do.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
That, it was it was like a me and he
would have been fine either way. He didn't care, but
I just was. It gave me like a little bit
of a buffer to have my head and heart ketch
up to each other, if you will. And it was
like the last few months, we've been getting a lot
of his stuff sold and getting things like bought or whatever.
And I'm like, we're because what had happened was the
(12:19):
storage unit raised their rent increase I was like, this
is stupid. You're not using any of that stuff. You
don't want any of it. Like he had already brought
over everything he wanted to have and keep, and so
I was just like, just get rid of it. It's fine.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Yah.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
The longer you keep a storage unit, the longer you're
gonna accumulate more stuff.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Oh my gosh, I know. And I get that from
my mom and being like, oh, but what if I
want this later? You know, like, oh, yep, I have
like a bin of sweatshirts, and I'm just like, I'm
not wearing them, but what if I want this one's cute?
What if I want it later? I just don't want
it now, then I might want it later exactly.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
And you know what, in all fairness to some of
my mom's stuff that she has kept, because she's the
same way, I have wanted some of her stuff later
in life. More just clothes, vintage clothes and stuff. Yeah,
that's like anything, yeah, because clothes do always come back.
So I'd say clothes are the one thing not to
get rid of, But like random furniture and things like that,
if they don't have any sentimental attachment, truly get rid
(13:13):
of them. Yeah, I donate them, sell them. Like Facebook
Marketplace is a beautiful thing. You can make a lot
of money on there.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
It is. It's also crazy, but I'm like, uh, don't
even kid me. It is insane. Like I've been buying
a few things on there recently and trying to sell
and it's just like, have you seen that video where
it's like Facebook Marketplace the lady pulls the other like
what it's like being on Facebook Marketplace? She pulls up
She's like, hey, is this available? And he's like yeah,
and she just drives off and then no, that's literally
(13:39):
what it's like, Yeah, or what time can I pick
this up? Three?
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Does that work for you?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
And or I don't even know. It's just like all
these scenarios and I'm like, it's so accurate.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Oh, it's so accurate. I've had so many hilarious conversations.
There was one I don't know if I shared this one.
I shared a few of my Facebook Marketplace stories on pasids,
but there was one where a guy uh uh with
an air freight. There's a recent one. Hold one, keep
sharing your face environments. I'm gonna look up what I said.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Well, yeah, they just don't I don't know, they don't
show up, or like one time I was like, hey,
I'm interested, this is still available and they said yes,
and I said when can I come pick it up?
And then I get a thing that says, you know
someone who has sold this, and I'm just like, wait,
I thought I thought we were like on the way
to me buying it, and then you sold it.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Yeah, I have I do think that's happened sometimes not inadvertently.
It's like one of those if you have one of
those items that ten people want and everybody hits you,
I'm like, I'm just gonna go whoever's like first quickest
makes it all happen. Yes, And you just kind of
have to because otherwise you'll be sitting waiting for everybody
all the time. Right, I realized you had to change
your instead of being like highest is still available, be
like hey I want it, what's your venmo, I'll send
(14:49):
it now and I can come. Like you have to
just be like boom and they're like okay, yeah, because
if you're one of those who's like going back and forth,
you're probably not gonna get it. That's just if it
is one of those like coveted items, for some reason,
I've had the them things be coveted and then other
things where I'm like, this is really cool, why doesn't
nobody want it? Yeah, this was my one. Recently, we're
trying to get rid of this projection So the projection
(15:10):
screen drama has been a thing in my house. I said,
I had to order seven different projection screens, like I'd
get one and I'd have to return it because it
was damage.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
It showed a dampen another projector.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Just a screen, which is like fifty bucks on Amazon, right,
but you order it, you don't want it to be
damaged to be able to use it. This was a
whole process. So I finally ordered it from a different
place and I would spend a little bit more money,
and I was like, Okay, this one will arrive here
because I spent some more money on it, hopefully it'll
arrive not damaged. In rived damaged. What in the world
It took seven tries to finally get one to arrive.
(15:41):
That was it? Mind you? All of them got returned
and like got our money back and stuff. I'm like,
can you guys not. I don't know what the problem
was with it, But lucky number seven we got it.
We put it up, but the one that I had
bought from a different place, I emailed them to be like, hey,
this was damage. This was the whole thing. And They're like, well,
we're gonna rEFInd you the money, but you can just
(16:02):
keep it. And I'm like, I don't want to keep it.
This thing is huge, it's damage. What am I going
to do with it? And so it's like been sitting
in the garage ever since. So I finally put it
on Facebook marketplace to be like, I don't know, sell
it for twenty five bucks, let's just get rid of
this thing, or heck even for free. I don't care.
I just want it out of the garage. And we
put it on Facebook marketplace and this dude responded and said, hey,
(16:24):
I want that. Let's trade.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Let's trade trade for what what do you What do
I want from you? Like, yeah, what what was it
that he wanted his trade?
Speaker 1 (16:36):
He never responded he want to just goes, I just
want to trade. Oh my gosh. Ever, are like, okay,
well what what do you want to trade? Let's let's hear.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
He never responded, I mean I have a chair. What
in the world? Yeah, actually I have seen that like,
they're like, you want to I've seen like people post it.
They're like, I have this table, anybody want to trade?
Speaker 1 (16:55):
And I'm like, wait, which is fair if that's like
what you're asking for, right, But for a guy a
message when I'm like trying to get rid of it
or whatever, he's like you want to trade, I'm like, no,
I don't want more stuff, that's so. But also, what
do you want to trade for? Like cash? That's cool.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
I'll be like, yeah, I'll trade my venmo. Yeah, that's hilarious.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
The marketplace is a wild wild West.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
It is something, but you can get some good stuff
on there. You can when you when it happens, you
got good stuff.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
I think of people who do really good on Facebook marketplace.
Hold on, I'm gonna say this time I come back.
I'm like, we need a quick break, so hold on.
I think of people that are really good on Facebook marketplace,
really good at finding cool things and deals and getting
the nice stuff to da Wi or whatever. I also
think of them as the same people who are really
(17:40):
good thrifters in vintage stop people, because there's a talent
to finding things out of other people's stuff, and I
don't have that talent. You don't know, Like I can
find cool things that I like. I just don't think
there are things that other people like, you know what
I mean. I went to vintage shops and I like
(18:01):
things and I want them, but I don't have that
eye that other people will be like, that's really cool
you found up at a vintage place, or like somebody's garbage.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Like I was watching this girl online the other day
and she was, Uh, she goes to get things off
of people's side of the road that they put out
in front of their house for free. Right, I've done
this before. I put I put sandbags out there one
time I had. I had to buy a whole bag
of sand to put in as like a heavyweight for
my microphone stands. Oh yeah yeah, but the only sand
(18:32):
that was available was a seven pound bag that I
didn't need that much sand, So I put it out
like in front of my house. And I was like,
if somebody needs to make like a play pit or something,
and maybe this is great for that. Somebody took it, Oh,
they have no idea what it kind.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Of ast for.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
But this girl goes and takes things from like the
front of houses. That are out on the curb for
free and she flips them and turns them in.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
They this really cool thing. Okay, that is cool and
that's a talent. Yeah, I want to be that person.
I am not that person. I got like this console table,
you know, like an entryway table made and it was
like homemade by this guy and he just like makes
thee sells them on there, and I was like, that's
pretty genius.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Because I was like, oh, it's awesome. It's homemade. Like
I'll pay a little more. It was kind of expensive,
but I was like he made it himself, that's cool.
It was like it looked really good. He stained it,
and then I kept noticing that he kept adding more
and I was like, oh, that's what he does. He
sells that he's on it. He just keeps making them
and selling them like he's probably making some good money.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I do know there's people who's sell things on Facebook
marketplace too that are like new. They aren't like it's
it's a marketplace beyond just other people's stuff.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
It's also people selling through a business.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Oh right, I've seen that too, Yeah, which must be
like what that guy kind of is yeah, like instead
of using an Etsy aura, because I think it costs
money to host an Etsy platform page.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
It's like an e commerce page.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Yeah, he's like cash only, so yeah, he's too face
with marketplace, you don't have to have that or pay
I guess that overhead and no taxes, but I guess
the difference. I mean, you can ship, but I've never
like bost something on Facebook marketplace to ship to me.
I mean either because I always also just sell in
town because I don't want to pay whatever shipping costs
there are.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
I also am not good at that. If I take
something I don't I'm not a good judge of how
much something's gonna cost a ship. There's been times where
I'm like, no, I'm good, I'll just keep it.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
It's a lot more than you think it's gonna be too.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
Always like a letter sometimes is six dollars or something.
I know I'm would make that make sense to me,
right if you put it in a little bit bigger
of a thing. It just keeps adding up money. For
what I know, all the things I'm not good at.
What are you?
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Let's begin, I'm just yourself our flaws.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Anyways, back to the engagement. So how are you feeling
like right now in this moment, how are you what's
your thoughts?
Speaker 2 (20:47):
A little Well, I'm just a little overwhelmed because for
one thing, like at the Christmas party, we had everybody
I talked to, I'd say, I talk to like twenty people,
everybody that was there, and They're like, you have a
date set literally everybody, And I'm like, oh my gosh,
I no, I haven't even thought about it. I just
have I'm not one of those people. I feel like
there's two types of people that you've been thinking about it,
like your whole life, since you were a kid. One
(21:09):
of my roommates did that. She had like a binder
in or.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Pinterest board more digital version.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Uh huh. And I've never thought about it in my life.
I don't know why. I just I haven't. I was like,
I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
I'm just see, you have nothing that like has been
on your heart to have do for your for a
wedding one day.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Ever, not really, I got I kind of thought, like
a beach wedding. I love the beach. You're a big
beach's just bury me on the beach. Why don't I
live on the beach.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
I talk about it all the time, thinking about you're
literally in a landlocked stay.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
I know, I don't understand it, but it's fun to visit.
So uh So I've thought about that, and it's just
like a lot of back and forth. I'm like, because
that'd be a smaller wedding, and then are people mad
that they didn't get invited because it's smaller. There's just
so much to think.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
About mm hmm. And it's overwhelming right now too, because
you're I think we need to give people at least
six months after getting engaged to just enjoy being engaged.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Right, Yeah, I'm not in a rush.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
And if they want to plan on a wedding immediately,
that's everybody's prerogative. And if they want to talk about that,
that's everybody's prerogative. But why is it like we you know,
I even think inherently it's part of us where it's
like somebody gets engaged, like when's the wedding, or somebody
is about to have a baby, or they just had
a when's the next one? Right, it's like always this
rush to the next thing.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
I need to rush.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
We don't you can enjoy the engagement for five years.
I have a friend who's been engaged I think two now,
and they are She's like, don't ask me about it.
I don't want to talk about it. When we get married,
you'll know, like, and I love that. I love that
for them because it's them. So I don't think you
should feel any pressure to do anything at any point
in time, yeah, or have anything picked out. And if
you did, that's also cool. But you don't and that's fine.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah, I just how to make it past the holidays.
I think that's what it is. I'm like, I still
have presence to wrap and shop, me to do. I
have not thought at all about it.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
But are you the pressure on now to get him
a really cool Christmas gift? Because you got your ring?
Speaker 2 (23:04):
I've went a little over word yeah. This Yeah just
says he's so easy to shop for, which is amazing
usually guys, because he doesn't buy anything for himself, you know.
He's just like always getting stuff for his kids or me.
And I'm like, oh my gosh, that's great. I have
all these things. And I told him and he's like,
oh my gosh, are you serious. I don't have anything
for you. I'm like, well, you're you're kind of good
(23:25):
this year. I mean maybe something small, but I think
you're good. I feel like I have a lot of
catching up.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
To do, and I listen, if you can engage around
the holidays, that's a gift, it is. Yeah, I'm sorry,
have you guys seen the what you give me? Some
French fries from McDonald's. That's fine. I go with any
version of rings, like, any type of jewelry is expensive.
It is, and I cannot imagine a real diamond engagement ring,
(23:49):
So I feel like that's the gift it is.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Yeah, I'm like, I'm good. I don't know, I don't
need anything, so yeah, but it was. I do feel
like I'm like, I just keep getting stuff because it's justified.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
You're like, I can do it this year. Yeah, but
then you're gonna be helped out for more. Seriously, I
was like, do not don't like? But his birthday is
also like two weeks after Christmas. Okay, so do you
have him split?
Speaker 2 (24:14):
I'm yeah, I'm right now I'm deciding what should go
for what? Okay, I want whatever he can use the
longest it would make more sense, like around Christmas, I'll,
you know, put that for Christmas. So that's what I'm deciding.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
So basically, this is your favorite thing ever because you
love shopping.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
I love it. Yeah, but I've done all my shopping
this year online. I took advantage of like Black Friday
and Cyber Monday.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
So I'm proud of you.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
I am too.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
He's changed to you.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
And when it comes to like finances and stuff, because
you used to be a shopping in person all the time.
You would just go on a random Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
And go to the mall, yes, and just wander, and
that does nothing. This year, I tried to be more intentional,
to be like, Okay, this is what I want to get,
I'm gonna look for it.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
You are your fiance is a financial advisor, and it shows. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
It's funny because we went Target to shop for what
he wanted and I'm like, you're not gonna have any
you can't just wander, and he got everything done in
that one trip because he sets his mind to something
and he's like, okay, I want this. He had like
on his notes app he had for each kid, what
do you like? How many gifts? I'm just like, you're
so organized. I just go in. I'm like wandering like
a lost soul.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Like well, and sometimes it's hard if you have something
that's hard to shop for and you just don't even
know where to start. Wandering does help because you're looking
and seeing if you get any inspiration or ideas. Yes,
so there's that. But you wandered like every day.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
Yeah, and then I'd see things for me and I
know what I want that.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
And this is okay, I love this. And mentally, where's
your head at? How you feeling?
Speaker 2 (25:40):
I'm good? Yeah, I mean I'm excited. It is really exciting.
Like a lot has changed in two years obviously, and
even since, like you and I used to talk. I
remember like two years ago, we're like when are we? Like,
what's happening?
Speaker 1 (25:54):
It is wild. I would love to pull one day
our best bits from two years ago. Yeah, and just
hear the conversations you and I were having, whether we
were going through breakups, whether we were you know, dating
and trying to figure it out. And there were a
lot of episodes for you and I where it was
just like this is never going to happen. You know.
We were trying to keep the hope and trying to
(26:14):
believe in it, but there just wasn't and now you
have a ring on your finger and you're engaged and
life is going crazy. Yeah, and does this change Christmas
plans this year now that you're engaged, where you're just
like still still going free ball whatever.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
So I know in the future, obviously things are going
to change because he will always need to be here
with his kids. It's every other year, but he has
them this year, and so his mom and brother coming
into town. And I'm still going home because this might
be the last year that I go home, like Christmas Day,
I don't know if we start our own traditions and everything.
(26:51):
So I was like, Okay, I'm really I'm going to
go home this year. I'm going for like a week
or so, just because I love my family and it's
hard for my mom to kind of break tradition, you know,
like I need to try to persuade her to start
like coming here, like my mom and stepdad be like
come here for Christmas because she's always like, you need
to come here, you know, And I'm like, but that's
(27:13):
not really how it works. Like they're the kids now,
I'm not the kid anymore. Yeah, So they're the kids
and Santa comes for them. So we'll see. That's all
in the air. But he's been very like he's understanding
that I want to see my family and he'll have
fun with his family in here. I wish I could
be here, you know. I wish it was easier to travel,
Like if it was just like a three hour drive, Oh,
(27:34):
that'd be amazing. Yeah, it's hard to get home to Witchitah,
and the flights are getting worse.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
It is. This is getting harder and harder, and the
road trip itself is every bit of eleven hours. Yeah,
so I get it. I could do.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
I just get nervous of the weather that it's like,
what if it blizzarding? Yeah, halfway through and I'm stranded.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
Yeah, I guess I have to plan for like, Okay,
I might leave this day, but I could leave that
day in case weather changes, or I might have to
leave early in case incoming weather. I've done that a
lot with having to road trip. Really Yeah, yeah, you
drive all the time.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
I never drive. I drive once during COVID h I
always fly. But it's because of I have Rimy and Hazel,
and they come with me. I don't I don't not
want to have them for the holidays, So it's like
a necessity and.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
We're like a little zoo traveling down the road. But
I get it, and it's hard. It's hard to balance
to families no matter what, and you know, bringing and
breaking different traditions to make new ones. It's tough. It's
not an easy thing to do.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
It is, yeah, because my dad and stepmom live like
an hour and a half from Wichita, so it's also
finding the time to mate see them because they you know,
she has her kids and family too, so it's always
a lot the logistics. And then his family is all
over the place. And but I mean Nashville would definitely
be like the you know, the home base.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
Yeah, and it would always be easier to just have
everybody together, like anybody who wants to come mur during
Christmas right here, anybody's welcome, yeah, right, And that's the
cool idea. Yeah, we were dealing with it this year.
I'm thankful his mom ended up coming down to spend
the week with us this previous week, so we've been
hanging out with her up until she's here, literally until
(29:13):
we drive to Kansas. So it worked out that way.
But I had so much concern because it was like
this side of me that, Okay, I want to be
with my family and we have all these different traditions
and we do these things, and like I'm trying to
let go of things while also still holding on to stuff,
and he wants to see and be with his family
and their traditions, and it was like just such a
(29:34):
balancing act of making both of us happy and trying
to make everybody else happy at the same time.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
Mm hmm. It's yeah, it's really hard.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
And when you have kids a part of that make
sure as a whole different layer.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
I know.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Yeah, Well, I love this for you, and I'm excited
for this season thing you so much love and whatever
comes and whatever you guys plan to do for your
wedding and all of that. I'm excited for you your
beach wedding, though.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
I know. I think that's the hard thing is there's
just like on social media and everything, it's like people
are trying to have the biggest and best wedding and
try to I don't know, I'm like, what if you
want to be different.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
You should be different. Yeah, I you know what's funny
is everything that I thought I wanted for a wedding
and all kinds of things like I had Pinterest boards
and stuff, but I look at my life now and
that is not the same person really who wanted those things.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, I want a small, intimate wedding on a mountain somewhere,
like genuinely, that's what I want.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
That's so cute.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yeah, and I don't care about decorations. I don't want
to spend a bunch of money on things that I
don't need. I'm so like simplistic and I just want
it to be intimate and pretty and full of love
and maybe some Christmas lights because I love flights no
matter the time of year.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I was like, this
is but there's just so much happening this time of year,
you know, It's like it's a lot, so it's hard
to know there's a lot of days in the year.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
But this is to get there, We're gonna take more
more quick break and we will be right back with
a little bit more. Thank you for giving us the
entire breakdown engagement things. I needed it. I had so
many questions when you announced it, but I was like,
I'll just wait for best bits because I'm gonna get
the full breakdown.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Oh my gosh, yeah, I was gonna text you and
Amy before we're the girls, you know, And I was like,
you know, I'm just gonna wait. Let's just wait and
just surprise them.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
It was fun surprise and it's honestly, as soon as
Bobby said personal update, I was like, I think it's happy.
I just had a feeling you're plenty at that time
where I saw it coming. Yeah, you guys have been
so happy. Everything's been awesome. It was like not a
shock to me, but I was more like it was
cool to get to experience it with everybody.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
It was really funny, like lunchbox because he had been
saying that for like a year, just as kind of
like a joke, like what I was engaged and it
was like no, no, And it was just funny because
he's like and he like got out, like you.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Would have thought that, like you you won the lottery
or something, how much he freaked out.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
He like got up to look at my hand. I
guess I had it like under my jacket. Yep. It
was really that was hilarious.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
You were hiding me. You were a good, good, inconspicuous spy.
All right, some random thoughts. I have become that person.
We thought I was a crazy Christmas elf before it
was my four Christmas trees apparently, but now I have
escalated my Christmas elfing what And I think you know
what it is because you saw the entire tire.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
Okay. So I saw that a couple of days ago
and I was like, oh, that's not hers, like it's
it's that's so cute. And then you drove by the
and waved at me, and I was like, oh my gosh,
it's adorable. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
So I decorated the bronco on the tire, the spare
tire on the back of my bronco in a Christmas
wreath and then lights right, yeah, yeah, there's lights on
it to you in a little big red bow in
the middle.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
I love when people do that to their cars, do
you know. Okay, I've seen some that are like they
like wrapped their entire car.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Yeah. I thought about that the other day. I was like,
I feel like that I would damage the car. So
I'm not trying to like damage my car, just trying
to bring a little joy.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
No, it's so cute. I'm surprised you didn't do it before.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
I know. I'm shocked too. I think i've had this
idea a few years, even when I had my jeep,
because they also have it, but I just I never
wanted to put in the work. But what actually spearheaded
it was I was in Michael's the other day getting
cooking supplies. Yeah, and they had fifty percent off all
Christmas stuff, and I saw all these garlands. That's it, Like, okay,
I'll do it this year. And it just turned into
(33:27):
a whole thing because I needed a whole lot more
garland than I really anticipated. Really, oh yeah, that's a
big tire. I bought like seven strands Okay, I probably
seven to nine foot garland, thinking that's plenty.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
I started working on it and I had like three
little spots of garland. I was like, dang, I'm gonna
need a lot of feet of this garland. So I
had to go to two other michael stores to track
down some more because I bought it out from everywhere.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
That's hilarious. It looks so good. Thank you. It's really cute.
It gets me in the festive mood when I see people.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Driving and I'm like, that makes me happy. That's all
I wanted was to just make people smile. And I
also made The joke is like, hopefully I can make
people smile if I cut them off on accidents. Yeah,
oh see, that would do that on purpose. But you know,
would that make you smile if you actually got it?
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Would I wouldn't fliff you off. I'd be like, oh,
you're good, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
I never do that.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
I never do that, but sometimes I hunk and I'd
be like, oh you're.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Okay, your fine, Spiry, that's fine.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
You're not a gran show.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
I tried really hard not to cut people off, but
you know, I'm not a perfect person.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
In case it happens.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
In case it happens, hopefully it makes me somebody smile. Yeah,
that's my running joke.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
No, I love it. I want to do that. I
don't have a spare tire, but I should come up
with some creative way.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
You could do the reindeer ears.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
I was just going to say that I love when
people do that, like out their windows, the rain andlers.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
That's what people were doing with the Broncos with the
retire and my dad even calming out my video identity,
He's like, where's the reindeer ears? I'm like, dude, and
apparently I need to I don't even know where you
find those. I'm either.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
And then you can put like a red ball in
the front, like.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
Yeah, Rudolph, like I had, then I would have ears
a nose in a bulling out tail.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
That'd be really cute. And you put eye stickers on
the windsho We're taking so far.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
And then I am that person right now, I'm just
like half that person. Yeah, but I am. I'm a
little Christmas elf. Thank I liking it?
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Yeah, I was really excited. I texted you right away.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
I love that more than lunchbox. You saw me. I
was like, you're so weird.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
What he's just jealousy?
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Is he drove in behind me. He's like, that's weird, Morgan.
I'm like, come on, man, you know he loved it.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
He secretly loved it. Deep down.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
I secretly think so too. Okay. I also saw this
video on TikTok. Do you have a jacket, a winter
jacket that has fur on the hood where it's like
outside of the not like the whole thing. But you
know what I'm talking about, The rim of your face
is fur?
Speaker 2 (35:44):
I do.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
Okay, so this video that fur jacket. We've all been
wearing it wrong. But I mean, if you have a jacket, ladies, guys,
you might. I don't. I don't know if they make
these for men. If you have this jacket, you're supposed
to zip it all the way up, just like you
would to wear it out in the cold. And you
put that on your head, well, the fur flips inward.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Oh, so you're not supposed to see it.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
You're not supposed to see the fur. The fur is
supposed to align directly up with your face and blocks
the cold. Otherwise, if you leave it up your ears,
your neck, everything's exposed your face. So that's why those
jackets did nothing to anybody. I thought it was just
like stylish and cute to have like this fur. I mean,
it is stylish and cute, but the jacket's actually supposed
(36:29):
to be practical. And the jacket literally if you take
it and roll it upward underward to like go by
your face, you'll even see that we did this with
my my boyfriend's mom's jacket. You'll see that the coat
was specifically made to be exposed that way.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Oh my gosh, you've got to be kidding. Yeah, it
makes sense.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
But what oh, I need to do a video like
reenacting that and like and showing it because wild like
that has no idea. This is a thing.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
Been doing it all wrong my entire life. Sorry, that
reminded me real quick of something I saw one and
it was like, people have been putting their front doors
on wrong. The window part is supposed to be down
below so that your pets can look out the window.
I'm like, it's so dumb.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Actually, Like the joke is that we've been putting it
on wrong.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
I think that was a joke. It was like probably,
but I kind of fell for it for one second
and I was like, no, but you could see, you
know how like some people's front doors have like a yep,
a vertical or the windows horizontal window. Well they flipped
it upside down and then you can see their dogs
looking out the window.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
But that's so cute.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
It's but the comments were funny because some people actually
did believe it, and then some people didn't. It's funny.
I'm like, hey, not a bad idea of your dog
wants to or.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
Door makers out there to start making it so there
can be a window on the bottom.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
Yeah, because they can only look out if you have
like a glass or a screen door.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Yep. Exactly. Can you imagine I'll be so cute right,
like specifically dog doors, I would I'd buy one of those.
My my door has like quite a big window piece
on it, but I have a blind that comes down
in the house to like for protection, security whatever. And
Remmy's really good at like if there's a delivery driver
(38:12):
that shows up, she'll run to that door, put her
paws up. She's the perfect height. She puts her paws
and like hits the blind so it goes up and
then you just see her little nose in her eyes.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Looking at so she knows how to release that she
go up.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
She does. I don't think she does it on purpose,
but it just does. But she hits it every time.
She's a perfect height.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Hilarious.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Yeah, So she has her window, yeah she does, and
you can't even see on like the back of my door.
There's only scratch marks from her like falling down from
like getting up on.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
It, and her nose yet no marks. Yep.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
That's like how it is in my car. I always
get so sad to clean my car because her little
nose prints are in the window where her car seat
is and she like sits there and it's just like
stamped into the window.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
That's so cute.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
I know, I know, I love it. Okay, And one
more thing I have for us. Okay, I'm curious if
you've noticed this about how I talk, and I'm curious
if you have it and when you talk. M My
sister's a speech language pathologist, so she loves to make
fun of me when I talk. And I cause I
say things wrong all the time obviously, and I do
things wrong a lot, but apparently I have crispy rs,
(39:22):
and so I think you do.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
Yeah, I don't even know what that means, but you do,
like the.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
So sometimes not always because especially since she's pointed out
to me, I try really hard not to. But like
when I say Christmas, sometimes it'll be I don't actually
say it that way, but like I'll say Christmas and
sometimes if I'm talking really fast, it'll come out Christmas
like a yes, like I'm I'm not fully saying it.
It's called the crispy R.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
I love that some of my friends have that, and
I'm like, that's so cool. I don't have it. I
love it.
Speaker 1 (39:48):
I've tried to train it out of my brain. I
just did it there and I didn't even mean too
with train and I like, if I talk too fast,
it just rolls off.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
My my friend Casey does that. Really, she's done that
time i've known her. That was really funny. Yeah, but
I've always like that is so cool. I wish I
did that.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
It might also be why I can do like that,
like I can roll really easy with things, because not
everybody can do that. I guess I didn't know that,
but I can't do the that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
Then it just goes into something.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
Else, crazy Christmas cars. Sorry, yeah, I have Chrispy. You
got any weird? But I just a problem.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
No, I don't. I don't you have none. I don't
think so sometimes I don't enunciate things and they all
spill together.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
Okay, how do you say the word when like dudes
get snipped? How do you say that word? Yeah? Okay,
So I was watching Selling Sunset on Netflix and apparently
they went to go get look at getting vaseect mees
or whatever. So they went to a doctor and the
doctor pronounced it visect to me.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Excuse me, the doctor? Did they go to this doctor
to do it? Because that's kind of scary? He was right.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
I don't know, I don't know if we've been saying
vaseect to me wrong and it's visect to me, or
they said, I don't know issect to me. But like
I did the pronunciation on Google, which is like my
best friend because I pronounce everything wrong, and she says
vaseect to me. But this was a vsect to me. Doctor,
and he said visect to me.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Oh, my gosh, I never heard it that way or
something to that effect.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
I'm sure I'm also butchering how he pronounced it, but
he didn't say it like he did not say vzect
to me. Oh, like there was an I or an
E or something else in there, and now I am
questioning everything. The English language makes zero sense to me.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
Oh, I can't even imagine learning it as your like
second language. I can't even imagine.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
No, I learned French and that was hard, but like
if I had to learn English, nothing would make sense
to me. At least there's like an art form to
other languages. Yes, I'm pretty sure there was somebody who
was putting together our language and just said.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
Yeah, that works right, use that word. It makes no sense,
or like.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
When we spelled things. I'm a very phonetic person. If
I see something, I'm going to say it exactly how
I see it. So if there's another pronunciation of something,
then how it's spelled, I'm not gonna get it correct.
And that happens a lot in my life. But it's
so dumb to me. I'm just like, why can't you
spell it in the way that it's supposed to be pronounced.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
I know, No, I feel bad for people trying to
I do.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
The English language is difficult for what reason? Tell me why?
Speaker 2 (42:30):
I don't know. I'm glad. I'm glad we know it
because if I tried now, it wouldn't work.
Speaker 1 (42:35):
I know, I know. It baffles me every time, and
every time I say something, I mispronounced something in a
sentence somewhere. And it's just because I'm phonetically doing things correctly.
Hooked on phonics. Man, I was good at that. I'm
not good at it every day. But anyways, Yeah, I
have crispy rs. You got nothing. I'm just a weirdo.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
I do that. I've noticed I probably do no.
Speaker 1 (42:59):
But you know, maybe that's that's the difference between your
your private education and my public.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
Oh yeah, we really got in there with the pronunciation.
I took a pronunciation course. No, I'm just gonna help.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
I was in there like typing fifty eight words per
minute or whatever, and you were in there being taught
the actual English language. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
No, I took Spanish for nine years and I still
cannot speak like fluent Spanish.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
You can't. I mean I had, I nearly had a
minor in French and college. And if you do not
use it every single day or write it or whatever,
you're gonna lose it within days weeks. Yeah, you could
learn as much as you want to do, and I
swear it goes away because you're it's like a memory
thing in your brain. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
I mean I could conjugate verbs till next year, but
like I don't know vocabulary that much, so I'm like
I can't say much.
Speaker 1 (43:52):
Yeah, like I could when we went to Paris last year.
I could read signs and I knew certain words, and
I could place things, and like I could be on
the subway and be fine because I could understand basic things,
but I would it was like I would get every
other word people were talking about in French, so I
would never understand context.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
It's just like words you're like, slow down, so I
need that too, like you really got to slow down
so I can process.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
But once upon a time of girls Morgan whoa, oh
my god, all of it. Yeah, and you're the same
way with Spanish, I wish. I mean, nine years is
a long time to study a language.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
But we would just keep going back to the same things,
you know, It's like the colors, numbers, verbs, Yeah, like
yo two wait is one yo yo is? I like
yo a blow English to oh bliss.
Speaker 1 (44:47):
Oh you speak English? Do you speak English? Yeah? Like
because it's the same in like French and Spanish have
similarities like two tapel uh not see, I can't remember speak,
but like tutepel is like what's your name? Kescase is
like a what if? Like they had similar similarities in
the two languages. But then it also hurt my brain
(45:10):
when I looked at both languages because I was like,
that feels the same.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
Yeah. All I knew how to say was puoto ear albano,
let's kind of go to the bathroom. That's how one
day poeto ear albano, Poeto ear albano. Can I go
to the bathroom? And you just said I did I
do there? Pueto ear albano, poto ere.
Speaker 1 (45:34):
To do that. Why that's not a tum roller. Oh
my gosh, you did. But I love that in my head.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
It's like a SMR or whatever. It's like, it's in my.
Speaker 1 (45:46):
I'm probably annoying a lot of people because I bet
there's a whole lot of people that don't like that.
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
Now they're going to notice it.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
Yeah, you called it out. If I do it fast,
if I talk normally. And that's also the thing. My
language just changes in general when I talk really fast,
I might as well be an alien. So it's fine,
we're gonna get out of here. Yeah. Well, we're gonna
go answer some listener questions, but we're gonna get out
of this one. So Merry Christmas, everybody, Merry Christmas. This
(46:13):
is the last one for Christmas.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
Oh crazy, I know. Well, so sorry about my voice.
It's little lunchboxy today. He was around, he gave us
whatever he had. You sound great, though, you sound great, Okay, Yeah,
you had a moment during twelve Days of Christmas and
it's okay, good gosh, I'm so mad. And Eddie was
so annoying. After you're the singer of our group. He's like,
(46:37):
you're the singer. You're supposed to sound good. I'm like,
I can't help it.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
See when you go up hi, yeah, well, and your
voice might be trying to go out on you, and
it always starts tying, starts to like come down low.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
So and if I was gonna go low, I would
have really sounded like a man like you know how
when you have something and you're with your.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
Voice low, I think you should have just done it
to throw them all off and just gone really low
on the.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
My true love gave to me. Oh my gosh, I'm
just telling a guy.
