Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time for the good news.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
All right, let's go all around the room. Tell me
something good, Eddie.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
So, yeah, somebody left the gate open in my backyard.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
What has the ability to get out other than a
kid dog?
Speaker 3 (00:17):
And the dog got out. And so I get home
yesterday and my wife's like, hey, have you seen her dog?
And like no, because she's usually right by the door,
like always on her little bed. And I said no.
She's like, well, I think I let her out, but
I don't remember. And I look out and that gate
is wide open.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Man, that sucks.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Like, oh my gosh, here we go. So I go a.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Dog too, right, like animal can take it.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
She's no, no, no, she's like middle she's.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Middle sized, big fifteen pounce yeah, like twenty five pounds. Ok.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
And so I go out there. I start yelling her
name and nothing. So and I go in my car,
I drive around the block and nothing. What always works
is her bags of treats. It's like in a tin.
Can I take it and I shake it? Dude. She
came out of the woods with birds and like stick
and everything like running out. So lucky and she came
(01:03):
and I was like, thank god, we did not lose her.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
The fact that she was close enough to be able
to hear the shake. Yeah, man, they give me anxiety.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
It's just funny. How like really, I can yell her name,
like on the top of the mountain and she will
not respond, but I shake her treat like she comes
running like no problem, you.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Have nothing to offer just by yelling her name. It's
possible scolding Amy, You're up.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
So I told you all I got this new little
suction cup bird feeder, and that a cardinal had come,
which is my mom.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
But the blue jay came, which is my dad.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
And I know Eddie would appreciate it because also I
need to ask Eddie how he filmed the birds coming
to his feeder because I want to get a camera too.
And actually I was going to invite Eddie on an
outing if you wanted.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
To come, let's not do that. But that's pretty wow.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
I don't even know what the outing is.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Listen to her offer. No, it's not its like to
your house to film the birds.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
I'm like, that's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
It's not to my house. It's to a bird store.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
It's it's like a bird store, like probably ten minutes
from my house.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Like I mean that's good content. You guys go shoot
you guys at a bird store.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Then we just go look at birds, don't.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I don't know. I don't know what else you do
at a bird store.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
It's called wild Birds Unlimited.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
I could be any bird they have us unlimited.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
They have unlimited birding accessories, tools, feeders.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Back to cameras, birds.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
No, no, no, I don't think they sell birds.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Oh they don't.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
No, I think they there.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
It's a shop for bird birding people like us' murders binoculars.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yes, yes, I think that would be a nice little
fun content piece to go shoot.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
I've been looking at the different the various feeders they
have and different types of food, and so I've just
I guess I'm just excited that my birding is back
because I had to take a break because when I
moved just there wasn't a setup that really worked. I mean,
I had a few feeders scattered about, but they were
too far away to where I couldn't like see the birds.
Speaker 5 (02:59):
And the suction cup helped suck me back into it.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Different bird foods attract different birds, yes, like do the
blue jay?
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Who you Your dad is a blue jay and your
mom is a cardinal. Do they like the same food
or different foods?
Speaker 5 (03:11):
Yeah, they both came to the same feeder with the
same food.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
I have a mix that's good for Tennessee type birds.
And what I'm attracting is backyard birds and cardinals and
blue jays in Tennessee are a backyard bird Like.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
An eddie had a whole thing, like he got.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Land there.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
No, he couldn't fit.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
An I never seen an eagle here?
Speaker 5 (03:35):
What hawks?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
I've never seen an eagle here.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Have you ever seen an egle like a landed egle?
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Not in Nashville?
Speaker 5 (03:41):
No, like a bald eagle? Yeah, no you have not.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
No, have you about a former Philadelphia eagle player just
walking around at.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
One of the At one of the trails we walk,
there's an eagle's nest and you have to there's like
signs everywhere that are like, don't cross this point because
then you could disrupt.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
I mean, nest is way up pie. But I see
the bald eagle flying.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
I'll tell you what's weird about shooting video in these
birds is like I.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Have a a far are you going to your phone?
Speaker 3 (04:08):
I have a phone with a red case. That's how
I did it. I just put my phone against the window.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Okay, so I was asking me.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
I didn't know if he had a special camera or
he just did his phone and you do you just
put it on.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Eddie was gonna make it on YouTube video or something.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
No, no, no, he go.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
So you just hit record and like, let it just
go and then you edit it. Whenever you saw a
bird come correct.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, I'd leave it for like fifteen minutes and then
whatever came.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Oh, you had a lot of visitors in fifteen minutes,
a lot.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yes, And when it snowed, a lot came by. But
what's crazy is I have a red case on my phone,
the red Cardinals. Every time it came up, it was
like whoa, and then he got away. The red Cardinal
did not like the red phone.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Really yeah, but what's crazy is a bull ran through
the window.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Oh okay, So Eddie off to send you a video
because I thought of your dad, because haven't we decided
he's a morning dove morning dough.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, so he comes every day.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
By the way, Eddie's dad came to my house and
couldn't figure out my feeter and so my clear plastic
on the top and he wouldn't go into the hut
to get the food. He was on top of the
plastic trying to get the food, and he was pecking
his peak down onto the and I was like, oh,
it's dead struggling.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
He's a little uncoordinated.
Speaker 5 (05:11):
He struggling.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, yeah, he does that at my house a little slow.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Do you know what the national bird in Mexico is?
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Eagle?
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah, the golden eagle, because it's it's on the flag,
that's correct.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Yeah, that's what's in the senten.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
His mouth and everything.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, their eagle looks hardcore. I think there eagles in
the cartel.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
So there's a golden eagle.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
The national bird of Mexico is the golden eagle. It's
the eagle you see on the Mexican flag standing on
a cactus respect with a snake double respect. The image
comes from an Aztec legend about where they found modern
day Mexico City. Huh, I know that.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
That's cool.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Do you know there's a Mexican j.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Oh, like a like a blue j but a Mexican
j No. I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
I was just searching for like a Mexican bird to see.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Oh see. My dad was yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
And then I landed up on the Mexico National Bird,
which thought was pretty cool story.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I mean, dude, that would be crazy if a Mexican
jaylen and on my That's what I'm saying that for sure,
it would be my dad.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
Yeah, but for now he's a morning Yes, for.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Now, he can't change.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
But he's got a buddy or something because he always
comes with someone else.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
I'll be there are no rules you can change.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
You think my dad found another chick because he comes
with an like a literal chick, because he's a bird.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Oh yes, yes, well, mourning doves often travel in pairs.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
It's the girl that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Lunchbox this whole time has just been hanging his head.
Speaker 6 (06:37):
Well, I mean, Eddie made fun of excuse to make
fun of Amy all the time when we talked about
her mom visiting, her dad visiting. And now all of
a sudden, Eddie's like, oh, my dad's a mourning dove,
and it's like.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
That's what happened, Yeah, died. Happened, my dad died.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
And then from the one person who didn't have a
dead parent, he's like, but I I don't believe either,
Thank you, have you.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Tried, No, but I don't I've always said to Amy,
I think it's funny, but I can't say that's not true.
Speaker 6 (07:04):
I know, but I just wonder what changed out his mind.
Just I understand your dad died, but why that's it?
Speaker 3 (07:09):
So literally? And then a mourning dove showed up like
every day.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
Yeah, and then he got in and then he got
a feeder, and then he got It's like a thing.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
It just also you also look for it.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Maybe it's our age.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
I'm not quite sure what happens, but it's just one
day you wake up and it's like, oh, I find
birds coming to my feet are really interesting.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
It's kind of cool. Like I'll talk to him like,
what's that dad, you know, and then he'll look like
you'll look in the window and you're like, what's going on?
It's going on in there? Yeah, And he's the only
bird that doesn't get scared when I sit in the
couch right by the window. I don't know something.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
There, probably not. But I can't prove you're wrong, and
nor what I want to, because if you find comfort
in it, good for you.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah exactly, I like that, but probably not. But but
you heard it said, I can't prove you wrong. I
was watching a John Edwards video. You popped across my TikTok.
Remember John Edwards, Amy Senator. I think it's John Edwards,
the guy that would see people death, talk to dead people.
He had a TV show for a while.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
I mean, I feel like i'm picturing it. He was
he a brown here, uh.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Huh, and he'd go to the crowd and he'd be like,
I'm talking to somebody.
Speaker 5 (08:10):
M yeah, yes, I know who this is.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Like I generally feel I'm gonna search himal quick. I
generally feel like he's full of crap. Man, he's good
at he's good to be a full of crap. I
could see where you'd find comfort in that. John Edwards psychic. Yeah,
here we go.
Speaker 7 (08:25):
Who they want to be with when they pass, And
if it's too painful to leave while that person's there,
their way till that person's not. So if you were
not able to be there, please don't take offense to that.
Don't think that you failed them. They may not have
been able to pass with you on they're wrong.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
So it's just stuff like that, And I'm like, I
can't prove he's wrong. And he was on Jay Shatty's podcast,
and do I think John Edwards really knows all this
stuff about dead people. No, but I definitely can't prove
he doesn't. And I also would never argue that there
is no one with an ability that I can't understand.
I'm doing lots of negatives, but I think there are
(09:00):
people that have abilities that I can't understand, and because
I can't see them or understand them doesn't mean they
aren't real. But generally speaking, do I think people like
that A full of crab?
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:11):
So hard to know, that's right, And because so many
people take advantage of people or people they think they
have some weird ability and they really don't. But I'm
not someone who's gonna tell who's gonna absolutely say, gun
to my head. There's no chance. This is not I
don't even want to say a talent or a skill,
but this is not something a gift, sure, a gift
(09:33):
that people can't possess.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
I don't know. You nailed it?
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Hey nailed.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (09:42):
Any who'sy? Blue Jay came to my feeder?
Speaker 3 (09:45):
That's really cool. They do have feeders with cameras.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
On them already. I know, I know I have one
of those.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
I feel like a listener sentence to me I just
need to set it up as a little complicated. It's
like one of those cameras you put in the woods,
like on a tree. I I guess I could set
that one.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Up wild life cam.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, but you guys are going hard.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
It's awesome, dude. And what's really cool with Amy is
like no one ever like, There'll be a woodpecker right
at the window. I'll be like, guys, guys, look at
woodpecker and nobody cares, but Amy cares. And I love that.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
I thought then when there was your dad, they'd all
come running.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Now and then they don't care to anybody, don't care
about that one.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Aybody got it?
Speaker 7 (10:19):
All right?
Speaker 1 (10:20):
It's good lunchbox. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:21):
Yesterday have five thirty two PM got a call and
it said, attention, your child will return to school tomorrow.
There has been power restored. School resumes tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
And I was like, all right, they're going back to school.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
Great thing after six days off of pure chaos.
Speaker 5 (10:41):
They days more than that, well, yeah, six school days.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
So it was like whatever many days in a row
they go and get some education and some structure in
their life.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
Yeah, except for he did you?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
Also in the same I got the email so I
got the same message and then I get an email.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
That's like, oh, reminder, winter break is coming up.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Yeah, they have a winter break, Like, well, we just
had Christmas.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Break and then they had no ice break, and then they.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
Have winter break, and then they have spring break.
Speaker 6 (11:08):
Oh, we don't have winter break, we just have spring break.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Does that effect though when big summer hits, like, is
it later because you're taking the little breaks effect.
Speaker 6 (11:15):
Because they've had they have days built in for the
winter break or the ice out. They have extra days
built in the school year, so they are able to
not extend the.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
School year any But I'm talking about winter break, not
the one we just have. But like, is they schedule
a little different from when we were going to school
because they do have these smaller breaks in that the
bigger break is not as big anymore.
Speaker 5 (11:37):
Summer feels shorter.
Speaker 6 (11:38):
Yes, they start school a lot earlier because they have
fall break and I guess you have winter break.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
We don't.
Speaker 6 (11:43):
But then you have spring breaks, so they have a
lot more breaks. And then Thanksgiving now is all week
off instead when we were.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Kids, it was Thursday Friday.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yes, so they do start earlier and the winter break
isn't the whole week. It's like Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or
something or maybe only two.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
I think I was like a Friday Monday. It doesn't
matter how they do it, it's just different. And it
just felt it was like cruel sort of send that
reminder right after they've just been home for a week.
I'm like, just give it a beat, give it a beat.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
But whatever.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
But yay school, Yeah, school, back of school.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Kids need like routine, you know, and when they don't
have it, it's chaos.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
I need routine, and when I don't have it, I
feel chaos. So yes, I agree with kids, especially mine
is I had this freaking ZiT coming up on my
lip and I popped it and I was like, oh god,
I hope it was a ZiT. I don't really get
that many fever blisters. It's a ZiT, thank God, because
I have stuff I have to do all this week.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
So do you see it at all?
Speaker 5 (12:42):
Nope?
Speaker 1 (12:43):
It feels like it is a second head. It's so big.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
Did you put concealer on it?
Speaker 1 (12:48):
No?
Speaker 5 (12:48):
Oh, because I can't see it at all.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
The only time I would ever do that is if
I had a real TV shoot, and I feel like
it would hurt it long term, but help it short
term because I was putting like something unnatural in it.
But I got on chatgyy T last night I took
a picture of it, and I said, what's going on here?
Because what happened was I was already squeezing it and
making it red and all messed up, and it's like
that looks like a pimple with torn skin. And I
was like, thank God, it's like, this is what you
(13:11):
do to fix that? And so I put awqua four
all over it, which is good, but I was nervous
it was going to be a fever blister. It's not,
and that's good news to me. I had an interview
last night with Cody Johnson. It was a late one.
I had a long day yesterday, so we had a
late Bobby cast that'll air next week. But Cody Johnson
came over last night a like five and we taped
a Bobby cast with him. He's back. He had his
(13:33):
ear exploded, Yeah, his ear drum, huh, and so he
was just done for a while, but now he's back.
He's starting again. So he came over. He's a guy
that's kind of like us in that his crew's been
together a long time, because I was like, hey, when
you started, like who's your guys, Like, well, fifteen years ago,
thirteen years ago, they've been running together and so like
(13:54):
us twenty years, twenty years, where are you at in
this now? We've been friends for way long long. Yeah,
but with the show too, but we worked television together
way before that. So that'll be next week. Blake Shelton's
up now on podcasts on Netflix, and then Derek Cuff
goes up on Netflix Thursday, and then Cody Johnson will
be next week.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Derek Cuff the dancer.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
He's won six times and now he's a judge on
Dancing with the Stars.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Also, oh did you that's when you went to La Okay?
I was like, when'd you see him?
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah, we did a bunch out there. Well we did
four in like a day and a half. So yeah,
that's what's up. So that's my tell me something good. Hey, Ray,
do you have anything?
Speaker 8 (14:35):
We rarely go to you on this Yeah, out of
it's now official, out of all my family, you guys.
I guess Eddie never lost power, but we never had
one second of lost power, lost, hot water, lost, microwave loss,
frigerator lost dishwasher. So we live life as normal, and
I'm just like, wow, we must be on the most
(14:56):
powerful power grid and all of Nashville.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
And just props to my f in law.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I think more than that, it's your lines weren't affected
by trees falling on it. So either you have lines
without a bunch of trees over it that didn't crack,
or they're underground.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Yeah, my lines were underground.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Also, we got a line installed when our house was built,
so that might be it too. Well, nothing landed on
it or affected it, because that's what happened here. Correct,
Maybe a squirrel, but not much more. Yeah, well that's great.
You got to keep a power yeow.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Right there you go.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
That's telling me something good. That was telling me something good.
It's time for the good news.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
Amy.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
There's a treasure hunter.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
His name is Andrew Kiffer and he has a metal
detector so he's often out there, but a lot of
times he comes home empty handed, doesn't find anything. Well,
this trip to the beach, he found a class ring
from nineteen sixty six.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
So he looks at the high school.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
Okay, create high school looks like it could be through
some research, a school in Nebraska, so he called a
library there to see if they could help him track
down a b W. It's all he had was the
initials b W and the school in the year from
nearly sixty years ago. Well, his persistence paid off because
people he was working with started to connect the dots
and the ring belonged to.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Don't tell us, I'll guess Billy Westmorelandre you go, Brook Walker, Lunchworks.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
Billy Smith. I couldn't Bobby, Bob, Bob Brian. I mean
right when you said Billy just stuck in my head.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
I couldn't.
Speaker 5 (16:32):
I couldn't get it out.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
What is it, Barbara? You would never get this last name.
It's like Wheelidge or something like that. She lost the
ring so long ago she couldn't even recall how it
ended up thirteen hundred miles away, but she thought it
was pretty cool to get it back, and it was
just as shiny as it was on No way, when
(16:58):
he returned it turned it to her, shiny and new looking.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Amy's still waiting on hers back.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
Yeah, I'm gonna be like Barbara. I'm gonna be elderly
of some sorts. I don't have age.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
I think Amy's offered like ten grand for that thing
you have, not like ten grand? Oh well, so what
is the offer we always forget?
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Mike knows fifteen hundred?
Speaker 1 (17:20):
And how much did I offer?
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Fourteen fifty? Why would you? I would you do that?
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Would offer fourteen fifty to Amy's.
Speaker 5 (17:26):
Rank and I'm being fifty bucks.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Apparently a long time ago. Okay, good story, that's what
it's all about. That was telling me something good. It's
time for the good news. How much box?
Speaker 6 (17:42):
Kyle Todd was sitting there scrolling social media when he
saw a post a woman her dog had fallen in
the icy river, and he's like, that's right out my
back door. He jumps out, runs down there, sees the woman.
He gets her out, and the dog's farther around. He
grabs a kayak in the icy water, and just before
(18:03):
the dog goes under the water, puts them up on
the kayak.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
How do you see it on social media? Was somebody
live streaming it?
Speaker 6 (18:10):
I don't know someone had posted, hey, woman, dog fell
in the river. We need help. I don't know exactly
who posted it, but he saw it.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Yeah, I shout out to the algorithm. Yeah, things always
feed me nineties wrestling them.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Like five days ago.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a good one.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
That's what it's all about. That was telling me something good.
