到目前為止，Stevie Wonder獲得過「最佳R&B男歌手」、「最佳流行男歌手」、「最佳專輯」等22座葛萊美獎，及一座奧斯卡最佳電影歌曲獎，及2004年度告示牌獎（Billboard）之世紀成就獎（Century Award）。Wonder創作了大量膾炙人口的音樂作品，唱片銷量超過7000萬張，為美國樂壇一致公認的「國家一級人物」。
人一紅，風流韻事就多，Wonder一共和五個女人生下了九個孩子！Wonder的第一個孩子於1975年2月2日誕生，叫做Aisha。Aisha也正是Wonder熱門單曲《Isn't She Lovely? 她不可愛嗎？》的靈感來源。她現在是一名歌手，曾與父親一起巡演、一起錄製唱片，包括他2005年的專輯A Time to Love。
在所有膾炙人口的經典中，不可不提的是1982年他與披頭四合唱團成員Paul McCartney保羅麥卡尼合作的＜Ebony And Ivory＞，以及1984年的電影《紅衣女人》主題曲， “I Just Called to Say I Love You我只是打電話說我愛你”。後者在Hot 100上排名第一，也讓Wonder成為第一位獲得奧斯卡最佳原創歌曲獎的motown藝術家、和第二位非裔美國人音樂家。
