我們又要為大家介紹一位鄉村巨星了，她年僅13歲就進入鄉村排行榜top 10，出道至今已經50多年依然在樂壇深耕，2019年專輯《While I'm Livin》還獲得了格萊美最佳鄉村專輯獎，她就是Tanya Tucker！
1958年生的Tanya Tucker，八歲時就立志想成為一名鄉村歌手。1972年還是個13歲少女時，就唱紅了一曲《Delta Dawn》，一夕爆紅拿下鄉村榜第六名。她早熟的嗓音具有特殊魅力，也讓她在未成年就唱了許多（不符年齡的）成熟歌曲，成為鄉村界主流明星。
但是到了1970年代末，她的銷量開始下降——雖然她才20歲，但是對鄉村音樂界也是出道快10年的老面孔了，聽眾是膩得很快的。不服輸的Tanya積極尋找出路，除了嘗試搖滾風格、驚艷（也嚇壞）歌迷，也和許多知名鄉村歌手合作，甚至還和他們談起了戀愛…她知名的愛人包括鄉村歌手Merle Haggard（比她大21歲），演員Don Johnson，流行歌手Andy Gibb，以及最為人所知的一段戀情Glen Campbell（比她大22歲），據說她與他有一段暴風雨般的戀愛故事！
1982年與Campbell分手後，她搬到了納什維爾，開始過著更加「隱居」的生活。事業愛情皆失意，這段期間她開始酗酒，還使用古柯鹼；最後，1988年她的家人擔心來找她，說服她進入戒癮中心，起初她非常反抗，但最終還是接受治療，狀況改善後也重新站起來、唱出了風雨後的堅強”Strong Enough to Bend"，也成為她全新的代表作…。
