15 декабря в Берлине завершились переговоры Украины, европейских лидеров и представителей США о плане завершения российско-украинской войны. Одним из главных вопросов стали гарантии безопасности, которые могут обеспечить долгий мир. Вашингтон пообещал Киеву «платиновые» гарантии, то есть обязательство прийти на помощь, близкое пятой статье устава НАТО.
В ближайшее время в Майами должно состояться обсуждение мирного плана, который учитывает мнения Украины и Европы, с российскими представителями.
