fifth of September and here are the headlines in the
top story today. The CBI has launched a preliminary inquiry
into alleged FCR violations by climate activist Sonam wang Chu

and his institute known as the Himalain Institute of Alternatives Ladakh,
which he founded. Officials confirmed the probe began two months
ago following a Home Ministry complaint. Wang Chuk confirmed a
CBI team visited him ten days ago with an order.
This comes after four deaths in lay protests demanding Ladak's
statehood and six scheduled recognition, which the MHA blamed on

the Supreme Court struck down a two thousand and seven

ruling it discriminatory. Out of state manufacturers challenged the exemption,
arguing they used similar fly ash content but were taxed,
putting them at a price disadvantage. A bench led by
Justices B. V. Nagaratna and KIV Vishwanathan held that such
differential taxation violated Article three h four A of the Constitution,

which prohibits states from discriminating against important goods in favor
of local products. And In some news from the defense sector,
India successfully test fired the two thousand kilometer range Agni
Prime missile from a rail based mobile launcher, showcasing rapid

mobility and cross country deployment and capability. Defense Minister Rajnath
Singh said the achievement places India among select nations with
such capability. The test, conducted by the DRDO and the
Strategic Forces Command was under full operational conditions. Officials said
the specially designed launcher can travel freely across the rail

network without preconditions, enabling faster reaction times and reduced visibility
for deployment. The missile is India's next generation intermediate range
ballistic weapon. The Delhi High Court has asked Priya Kapur,

to disclose details of his assets amid an ongoing family dispute.
PREA requested today to submit details in a sealed cover
with a confidentiality clause. Just as Jothi Singh cautioned, such
an order could be problematic, limiting parties a right to
verify disclosures. The court sought precedents for sealed cover submissions
